When you start to packing...

I bet you don't wan to put these into your suitcase

I bet you don't wan to put these into your suitcase

You know

This bottle is really big and heavy

If you like this brand

For wash hair or body

No need to worry

This company has design

they design a very small bottle for travel pack

This is what the look like

I like the top, very cute

I love that design a lot

On the top

This is a white

Shampoo

Then this is shower gel

And I wondering are they the same?

This is a shampoo

This should be this one, because they are white

The is shower gel

So obvious. It must be this one

The color exactly the same, isn't?

I wondering why they don't design a small bottle for hair conditioner

If got, it's would be perfect

Last time when I go to travel, I only use this one

You have to prepare a empty bottle for this

This is what I dislike

Because they didn't design small bottle for the hair conditioner

I hope they can improve

Then I hope that they can design this

Anmyna Shampoo (white), beside that

I hope they let us have another choice

Although I have mention this fragrance is very strong in my old video

After you bath, you no need to spray perfume anymore

Just go out like this, your body smell of fragrance

Very good

This one (shower gel) is very feminine fragrance

And this one (shampoo) a bit like a man's perfume

I think not bad. Because your hair will very smell nice

17.1 METIN2: Eventos y Nuevos Sistemas - Duration: 8:20.

Hello, today I'm here on one of that so requested videos

Today we have to talk about the new 17.1 version of Metin2

I'm going to show you some changes and some new things that will come

On this server here, which is the test server

As you know I have access here for youtube, to show you everything

Take into account that everything explained here is not official yet

So some things can change or even not appear yet

But well, I think it will be an interesting video

There are many cool changes, so let's start

Events

On this new version there are coming new events, new content

Some improves and bugfixes

I'mg going to talk about the most important, obviously I won't have time to comment all

I'm going to start with the events

First one is Easter, as you know Easter is closer

It's the same from every year but anyway I'm going to explain it and show new items

First there is the topic about the Easter Metins appearing on each map

Which give you this Magic Eggs I have here

And then there is the general drop of Easter Eggs that we can deliver on the Rabbit

So well, I'm going to show you the drop of this Eggs, as you know they are useful

Pomegranade juice, pearl, yang, another pearl...

You see, as every year, and I'm not showing Easter Eggs because you know how it works and there is info on wikis

As new we have this pet here, which is kind of a blue rabbit ninja very cool

Then there this other one here which I like more

It's seems he is throwing a ninfa sword

And there are new clothes that seem like a Samurai

So well, this would be all about the Easter Event I think I have one video about this event already but if needed I will explain more in the future

Another event that we will have like last year is Boss Hunting Event

If you remember, we had to hunt clones of bosses on some maps

It will work the same but there are new items that you will see how to obtain them

Are these ones here, they also give some interesting rewards, here there is a white pearl

It will be a matter of finding out which event is better to participate during the timeframe

Lastly, this version also includes Summer event, but it is far away so I'm going to explain it later

But I would like to show you because I found it curious and funny

This two new mounts that will be included, that are this camels

They give 1500 HP so they are quite useful

They are so cool

there is the red version and the blue one, I like more this one here

That would be all about events, I think I talked about all, if not there will be time to make more videos

New content

Another aspect that will be helpful is a new system for low level chars

Which will give every 10 levels a weapon until level 70

These weapons are here, they can't be improved, as you get it you have to use it

Here you see it, this weapon as a limited duration, it is for when someone starts playing, he can gets a weapon

To play better and level up faster

But when you rach certain level you can't use this system anymore

These weapons are cool, as you see they have extra attack value, critics, average damage...

They will be helpful and better than the ones we would use when starting playing

For last, as improvements commented on the video which I think will be a "bomb"

Is this thing you can see here which is the option to change channel

You only choose one channel, you click here and automaticaly the char like when disconnecting

After 3 seconds will appear on the other channel

You know how many options this opens for to make bosses faster, and all kind of strategies

This is a very expected improve and It will be very well

Improves

There are many improves included on this version but the most interesting and expected is

This you can see here, now Blessing are stackable so It won't be neede anymore to have several chars full of them

On one space we will have all, and the same will happen for pearls

There are other things but I think this is the most important and useful

Bugfices

As last there is a large list of bugfixes

There is more than one that we were expecting for many time and will be good

But I think the most expected one is that they are fixing freezes with autohunting

It was very annoying and it made difficult to play while using autohunting

Also there were maps where at least for me the char remained online short time

That's all, the others we will see soon

Summary

Well, I think I have already talked about the most important about this game version

I think it is an interesting version with

good changed and events from other eyars that we know they are good and helpful

What's more, they have some improvements which is also good

In the topic about improvements and new content I think it is important the fact of

Focusing on low level chars, I think it is good to launch new maps

But from time to time, look back and help low level chars to raise and improve faster I think it's very good

And about improves, stacking items and chaning channel

I think it's something we have been waiting for years

It will be useful, we will see how changing channels affects the game

So well, I hope you liked the video and helps understanding the new version

If that's the case give a LIKE :), and if anything ask me on the comments

because in the future I will make for sure more videos explaining this events or

or anything needed, so well, see you on the next video

A DAY WITH ME IN NYC: FRENCH CLASS, RESTAURANT, DANCE CLASS AND MORE! (SUBTITLES AVAILABLE) - Duration: 6:13.

Good morning guys! I'm here the French Institute

I'm editing a video because I got here before the library opens, so I'm here editing in the lobby

I'm enjoying my classes so much,I don't know if you guys have ever taken french classes before

It's so cool, it's a little difficult in the beginning.

Especially for me, because I'm Brazilian but I speak english on my daily life and I'm learning French but in English!

My brain is so confused!

But after a while I realized that French is very similar do Portuguese!

Grammar and that kind of stuff. So its still a bit complicated for me because cuz my brain first goes to English, and then to Portuguese!!

But it's a lot of fun! I'm doing a lot of french exercises at home, I listen to french songs, and the classes are a lot of fun, very interactive, we play games, etc..

I'm loving the experience!

The French Institute is located on madison and 60th Street.

And there are many activities to to after class, there is a movie theater not only for students but for anyone who enjoys watching the best of french cinema

Also there are some events throughout the month and I'm loving the experience! I highly recommend it.

I'm enrolled myself in the beginner level! I knew zero french back then, not even Bonjour! Actually I knew bonjour!

So I wanna go back to Paris when possible ($$) knowing how to communicate better.

I'm playing with my hair because some food got stuck and my hair is sticky now

So that's it! I'm gonna stay here and finish editing this video, It's gonna be up on my (portuguese) channel probably today!

Stay tuned cuz we have videos everyday in 2017 (portuguese channel)!

I just left class and came to the kitchen to eat my homemade food, I'm gonna be out all day and I can't afford eating out all the time.

I had some soy protein, sweet potatoes... I'm gonna finish editing that video, I have a meeting later on then dance class

Today during class the teacher told everyone about my blog (www.nyandabout.com/en) and was recommending it to everyone who is looking for NYC tips, restaurantes, shops, hotel,etc...

She also told her daughter about it, she saw the post I wrote showing how I made my polaroid wall

And today she told everyone about my blog! I was so happy!!

Professor, merci beaucoup!

I left French class with this urge to speak french to everyone on the streets! Like, everything I learned I have to wait another day to practice with someone in class!

So I feel like talking to everyone and say bonjour! Salut!! ça va? to everyone I see on the streets!

The day in New York was so beautiful in the morning, the sun was shining bright and now look at this...

After a beautiful day the day is grey and foggy

I think today you guys are only seeing my face, right? But it was a very quiet and slow day!

I just left By Chloe, my favorite vegan fast food but I only had a salad, you guys saw it, right?

Now I'm going to dance class and I need to use the restroom ASAP!

We are in Chelsea now, around 23rd Street and 6th Avenue, and the dance studio is on 26th, 267? Not sure.

And it's soon much fun! They teach you choreography from famous music videos and songs!

Tonight we're gonna learn the choreography for Worth it by Fifth Harmony, so I'm very excited to learn that!

Can I tell you something ?I used to looove this song Worth It, I've always wanted to learn the choreography haha but I almost died learning the steps, its so fast!

But when you get it, its ooo cool!

I'm gonna practice a lot so when I come back, Im gonna slay, like they say there, you will see! Cuz so far I'm still lost!

Guys, I'm with Ryu now at Argo Tea, a tea shop chain here in NY and there might be in other places as well

And he is getting me a black tea with coconut, and if I'm not mistaken, it's a bubble tea

with tapioca, you know? But its super delicious and I'll show you when it gets here

Here you can buy all types of teas, they have many exclusive and unique flavors

You also get a tea pot and other accessories, bottles, mugs...

Beyond Today - Lord, Help Me Believe - Duration: 28:27.

[Gary Petty] The man who came to Jesus Christ was suffering a parent's most horrible nightmare.

His mute son would go into violent convulsions and foam at the mouth.

The disciples tried to heal the boy, but they couldn't.

"Jesus said to [the man], 'If you can believe, all things are possible to him who

believes.'

Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, 'Lord, I believe;

help my unbelief!'"

(Mark 9:23-24).

You believe in God, but have you ever faced a personal loss so devastating, pain so deep,

hopelessness so dark that you've suffered anxiety and doubt?

Well today, we're going to discuss those times in life when we all cry out "Lord,

Help Me Believe!"

[Announcer] Join our host Gary Petty and his guests as they help you understand your future

on Beyond Today!

[Gary] The people of the Bible are a wonderful source of encouragement.

We are inspired by the examples of Abraham and Sarah trusting in God to give them a child

when Sarah was beyond childbearing age.

We're in awe of the apostle Paul spreading the gospel throughout the Roman Empire in

spite of persecution, and shipwreck and even fighting wild animals in the arena.

And we admire David, the shepherd boy who became king, standing up to the giant Goliath.

The biblical stories seem to be about bigger-than-life-people with bigger-than-life-faith.

Then you consider your faith.

I mean, you believe in God.

You believe that the Bible is His inspired Word.

But when you face your job difficulties, your bills, your marriage problems, your illnesses,

your Goliaths, you find yourself filled with doubt and anxiety.

You find yourself crying out with tears, "Lord, I believe, help my unbelief" (Mark 9:24).

Today we're going to discuss three reasons why you may find it so hard to trust God when

faced with anxiety, grief or just the stresses of everyday life.

Faith is so much more than just believing in God's existence.

Real faith transforms your life.

And later we'll talk about how you can experience transforming faith!

Now the first of the three reasons we find it hard to trust God is what we'll call

the "hero fallacy."

1.

The Hero Fallacy

The "hero fallacy" is the belief that only the men and women of the Bible could

experience transforming faith because, well, they were somehow different than we are.

We think that they never suffered doubts or anxiety.

Well let's consider the example of Abraham who was called the "father of the faithful,"

and his wife Sarah.

God promised Abraham and Sarah that they would have a child whose descendants would be in

numbers like the sand of the sea.

And then months went by.

The months, they stretched into years, and Sarah didn't have a child.

That's when the couple decided that God expected them to come up with a solution to

the problem.

They believed that they must have misunderstood God's instructions.

That's when Abraham, the "father of the faithful," struggled with how God would

answer His promise.

Worry and doubt began to plague his faith.

So he and Sarah arranged for Abraham to be with Sarah's maidservant, Hagar, who became

the family's sort of surrogate mother.

Abraham and Sarah thought this was God's answer to the promise that He had given to

them.

But, you know, this was not God's plan for them.

Abraham and Sarah believed, but their doubt and anxiety led them to pursue a course of

action that ended up being disastrous.

Abraham and Hagar produced a child named Ishmael.

God eventually performed a miracle and Sarah conceived Isaac.

The sons of Ishmael, well, many of today's Arab peoples are descendants of Ishmael.

And the sons of Isaac, which included all the Israelites includes the Jewish people.

And they are still warring today in a family feud that originated with two people struggling

with "I believe, help my unbelief" (Genesis 12-23).

A powerful example of faith in my life was my own father.

His trust in God never seemed to waver in the face of financial difficulties, sickness

or even the death of loved ones.

I'll never forget him telling me though that there were times in his life, and he

warned me that there would be times in my life, when a situation would seem hopeless.

At that time the feeling of God's abandonment could be so devastating that simply waiting

for God would seem almost unbearable.

Well you know, so many years later, I have now lived long enough to know exactly what

he meant.

I have found myself crying out to God on numerous occasions, "Lord, I believe, help my unbelief."

Like Abraham and Sarah, or the man who came to Jesus for the healing of his son, the people

written about in the Bible were just like you and me.

They struggled with their faith.

Just like you and me, they didn't always know how things were going to work out.

But in spite of their doubts and anxieties, they ended up trusting God.

What they did, was they discovered that God was greater than their weakness.

Faith is your response to God's stirring in your life.

Transforming faith involves a struggle to trust in God when all your human reasoning

tells you to do something different.

This leads us to the second of the difficulties we face in having transforming faith that

causes the "I believe, help my unbelief" moments.

2.

We don't understand faith.

We can lack faith because we don't really understand what it is, what it means.

I mean, how many times have you heard Christians say well, faith is simply accepting the existence

of God and Jesus?

What does the Bible actually teach?

Let's look at what the apostle James wrote.

Now listen to this.

He says: "You believe that there is one God."

Now what follows is one of the most sarcastic statements in the entire Bible: "You do

well.

Even the demons believe—and [they] tremble" (James 2:19).

Well, the apostle James' teaching is clear and powerful.

If our definition of faith is simply—accept God's existence, then what makes Christians

any different than Satan and the demons who know God exists?

I mean, they've been to His throne.

They've seen Him in His glory.

The New Testament book of Hebrews has a lot to say about faith.

Hebrews 11:6 states: "But without faith it is impossible to please [God], for he who

comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently

seek Him."

Here we find that the first steps in defining faith, that give us this transforming faith.

First: You must believe that God exists as a personal being.

Second: You must believe that God is involved in your life.

You must believe that His desire is for you to do good.

He wants to do good in your life.

And He wants to produce rewards.

Rewards that will last for eternity.

Three: You must diligently seek Him.

Your relationship with God can't be a passive acceptance of His existence without a motivating

desire to discover who He really is and follow His instructions for life.

So let's go back to the story of the man with the sick child who approached Jesus.

He came to Jesus because he believed that God existed and was involved in the affairs

of human beings.

He was seeking God's help to heal his suffering child.

When confronted with the enormity of Jesus' statement, "If you can believe, all things

are possible to him who believes" the man cried out in tears "Lord, I believe, help

my unbelief" (Mark 9:23-24).

But notice, Jesus didn't chastise this man for his weakness.

In fact, it was when the man recognized his weakness that Jesus healed his son.

You can experience transforming faith in times of anxiety and doubt by actively seeking to

know God and His purpose.

I mean it's His goodness, His wisdom, His sovereignty in your life.

Transforming faith is found on your knees in moments of hopelessness and despair, weakness

and doubt.

It is in the moments when everything else has failed that many times God becomes our

reality.

Let's face it.

All of us face difficult times when our faith response is, "Lord, I believe, help my unbelief."

Sometimes we struggle with transforming faith because of the hero fallacy.

We see the people of the Bible as supermen and superwomen who never had moments of doubt

and anxiety.

At other times, we struggle with faith because we don't understand what it is.

Transforming faith is more than belief in God's existence.

It involves trust, commitment, obedience and seeking God in those times of hopelessness

and doubt.

Now this leads us to today's third point:

3.

Lack of faith experience.

Sometimes we find it hard to trust God because we lack the experience of living faith in

the small, matters of everyday life.

So what do I mean by lacking the experience of living faith in the small, daily matters

of life?

Well all too often, believers face the difficulties of faith like a boxer who knows he has a heavyweight

fight in three months.

He knows he should be training, but you know, there are distractions and urgent matters.

He doesn't worry too much about the fight because there is plenty of time to train.

Days go by, weeks go by, and the day of the fight the boxer realizes he should've trained

for that fight.

The Old Testament account of the young shepherd David confronting the brutal, physical giant

named Goliath is one of the most popular biblical stories.

Many young boys have wondered if they could've done that.

Would they have had the courage to stand up like David did?

Well let's go back to the story.

The armies of the Israelites and Philistines faced each other across a valley.

Every day Goliath would lumber out into the middle of the valley and challenge the Israelites

to send a champion to face him.

The Israelites were frozen in fear.

But young David was willing to face the Philistine warrior.

Now, there is an interesting conversation between David and King Saul before David went

out to confront Goliath.

"Saul said to David, 'You are not able to go [up] against this Philistine to fight

with him; for you are a youth, and he a man of war from his youth'" (1 Samuel 17:33)

David taking on Goliath seemed like folly.

How could he hope to defeat a vicious, trained soldier, who by some accounts was over nine

feet tall?

"But David said to Saul, 'Your servant used to keep his father's sheep, and when

a lion or a bear came and took a lamb out of the flock, I went out after it and struck

it, and delivered the lamb from its mouth; and when it arose against me, I caught it

by its beard, and struck and killed it.

Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be

like one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God.'

"Moreover David said, 'The Lord, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw

of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine'" (1 Samuel 17:33-27).

You know it's been said that David faced Goliath once.

Saul must have faced him a thousand times.

Imagine the guilt, the anguish, Saul felt as he relived David's victory over and over

and thought, "It should have been me.

I should have trusted God.

I would be the hero."

Think of the times he must have bolted out of sleep in a cold sweat from the nightmare

of hearing Goliath's taunts and remembering his fear and lack of faith.

Saul couldn't face Goliath because he lacked faith training.

David's faith had been strengthened by the training of daily trusting in God.

David learned to trust God by facing lions and bears long before he faced Goliath.

I guess we all would like to be spiritual giant slayers who confidently rush into battle

against every Goliath we face.

The truth is, if you're not focused every day on seeking to know God and exerting the

faith to walk His path in these "little things" of daily life, then when you find

yourself facing a Goliath, it's going to be one of those, "Lord, I believe, help

my unbelief" moments.

When I find myself struggling with daily faith training, I've learned to be open with God

about it and sometimes I've prayed something like this, "Father, today help me to fulfill

your purpose in my life.

Today help me to treat everyone I meet the way Jesus Christ would treat them.

And today help me experience the fruits of your Spirit."

In this prayer, I try to take faith and make it applicable to what I'm going through

that day.

I have to admit, God has answered that prayer from time to time by giving me opportunities

to follow His purpose when it seems like everyone else was going a different direction.

He's given me opportunities to help someone whose actions or words made them difficult

to tolerate.

And I find myself often struggling in situations where I must exercise the fruits of the spirit:

"love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control"

(Galatians 5:22-23).

It seems like it's a prayer that gets answered quite often, not very often in the way that

I would like, but in the way that I need.

You see, faith training requires doing, obeying.

You know, earlier we read the verse where the apostle James wrote, "You believe that

there is one God.

You do well.

Even the demons believe—and tremble!"

(James 2:19).

Now let's look at what he wrote in the preceding verses.

"What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works?

Can faith save him?

If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them,

'Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,' but you do not give them the things which

are needed for the body, what does it profit?

Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

But someone will say, 'You have faith, and I have works.'

Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works" (James

2:14-18).

James isn't teaching that we earn salvation through works.

He is teaching that faith without works is meaningless.

In fact, claiming to have faith and not living by the actions of faith is "dead."

James gives a perfect example.

A brother or sister is hungry, you have plenty to share, but you declare your faith by telling

them "be filled" and doing nothing.

The brother stays hungry and your "faith" is worthless.

In a minute, we'll be joined by the Beyond Today panel, but first, let's review the

three reasons why we can lack transforming faith:

First, the hero fallacy.

This is the belief that only the men and women of the Bible could experience transforming

faith because they were somehow different than we are.

We think that they never suffered doubts or anxiety.

In truth, the biblical stories are inspirational because they show us how God worked with ordinary

people.

Two, we don't understand faith.

It is more than the belief in God's existence.

It is trusting in His greatness and goodness.

And three, lack of faith experience.

We lack the experience of living faith in the smallest matters of everyday life.

Well, we welcome Darris McNeely and Steve Myers to continue our discussion about what

James calls "living faith."

I would talk about these times in life when you say, "Lord I believe, help my unbelief."

I know I've experienced those.

Have you had those times in your life?

[Darris] Absolutely.

I think all of us as pastors, Gary, have had moments where we find that our faith is being

tested.

Probably for me, it's been in moments when you deal with people who are sick, terminally

ill.

Especially children or young adults who've not yet lived a full life.

And you pray for them, you ask God's healing and you expect that.

You ask it in confidence and faith and then they continue in sickness and then they come

to a point where they realize that they can die.

And you continue to ask for God to give them even the grace to hold up under the time of

trial.

And then when you realize that even God's purpose may be something other than what we

want for those individuals, you pray that God will help them to accept His perfect will.

So, those are faith progressions.

And I've been through many times, and they're challenging.

They are difficult.

But it's always been encouraging to travel that road with people and to, in a sense,

be even strengthened by them as you see people grow in faith, even through those dark moments.

[Gary] Yes, and God's involved.

[Steve] And I think that's one of the challenges.

Every one of us goes through times in our life that, it is hard to believe.

We do question our faith.

And yet when we do that, I think it gives us an opportunity to really step out in faith

and recognize we need our confidence in God.

We can't do some of these things ourself.

It's difficult to understand why are these trials happening?

Why does this little one have to suffer?

Why does this happen in this way?

And some of these questions are unanswerable.

And so we have got to put our faith, and our trust, our absolute confidence in God because

He is our Creator.

He knows every in and out of every situation, and it can help us to refocus on the One Who

ultimately can make the difference, on God Himself.

And when we do that, I think that does strengthen our belief.

And so, it kinda fulfills that aspect of help my unbelief.

[Gary] You know, many times I've taken people to the Bible to try to strengthen their faith.

I have gone to the Bible to strengthen my faith, but I have to admit, there's times

I've looked at the Scripture—I look at Paul getting beat up and then turning around

and going back into the city, or Shadrach, Meshack and Abednego getting thrown into the

fire and I've wondered, could I have that faith to face those issues?

Cause I've never faced being thrown into a fire before.

Have you ever wondered about that?

[Darris] Absolutely, I think all of us have.

You mentioned Shadrach, Meshack and Abednego, that example from the book of Daniel.

You recall that they were to renounce their faith and bow down to an idol.

They wouldn't do it.

They were at the face of a furnace and they said, well our God can deliver us from this

furnace but if not, He is still God.

That critical phrase, "but if not" is one that always has lingered in my mind.

I watch the news of individuals in the Middle East who have been tortured and brutally murdered,

beheaded and shot by ISIS when they would not renounce their faith, and convert to Islam.

And, you see something like that, you don't know what you would do in a moment of crisis

yourself.

But, those are teaching moments to help us to at least prepare ourselves and to think

about that should we ever come to such a moment.

But, to help us to even get through some of the daily challenges that are critical for

us too.

[Steve] I think maybe that's a key as well.

When it comes down to those challenges when, "would I exhibit my faith if I was challenged?"

with that ultimate question.

And, at some level I would like to think, yes.

If someone was going to execute me because I won't renounce the faith, I would hope

that I would stand forth for the truth no matter what.

But I think the other side of the coin is that, will I stand for the truth every single

day?

When my life isn't challenged?

When there's not that imminent threat?

When those difficulties aren't right there?

I have to make a choice every single day.

And when things are good and things are easy, and it's not that much of a challenge, it

seems that's the time that we could walk away from our faith and just take things for

granted.

And a lot of the story of the Bible is just that.

When times were good, people often looked to themselves, didn't look to God and their

faith waned.

And so, to stand forth in truth every single day, in some ways is a bigger challenge to

our faith.

[Gary] I appreciate having this discussion.

Because a lot of people, they see a minister talk about faith and go to the Bible and it's

like wow, that's so intimidating.

But, we're all in the same boat.

We all have faced obstacles to our faith.

I know I've faced some in my life.

What's an obstacle you've maybe faced in your life concerning your faith?

[Darris] Probably fear, at times.

Our world today makes us fearful of every turn it seems like.

We might fear terrorism.

We might fear the economy.

People might fear losing their job.

We fear getting old.

When I studied the Scriptures about faith, I find that the apostle Paul, Jesus Christ,

addressed fear quite often.

"Fear not," many different ways.

So I think probably fear has been something that I've had to battle and I notice that

in a lot of other people, and conquering some of my fears has helped me in counseling others

to get through some of theirs.

[Steve] Many times, I think doubts and fears are probably number one.

Maybe a new twist on some of those things in our times is distraction.

We are so easily distracted from what's most important in life.

And there's so many gizmos and gadgets and all kinds of things and electronics that get

our attention and entertain us.

And so, we can be totally enclosed in our own little electronic world if we want to.

We don't have to even recognize what's really happening out here and it can divert

us.

It can divert us from what's most important.

I think that is one of the challenges to our faith and trust in God—that we begin to

trust this world that we live in and this electronic world, rather than putting our

trust and faith in God.

[Gary] When I look at the Scripture, I have some people that I look up to as the great

examples of faith.

And some of my personal favorites are Hannah, the mother of Samuel and the apostle Paul

because the man just wouldn't give up.

He just kept going forward.

What are some of your favorite examples in the Bible?

[Darris] For me, it's probably Jeremiah.

Jeremiah, a prophet of God who had an unenviable job of going to his own people and tell them

what they needed to do to get right with God.

But he did it for more than 40 years.

Day after day, despite all the challenges, the persecution being thrown in jail and hostility

that he experienced from his own people when he was really trying to help them.

And he was truly a patriot.

And he kept at it year after year.

It's kind of like what you're talking about Steve with just day in and day out grind

of faith.

That's really difficult.

I look at Jeremiah and I see a man who did that and he's one I take a lot of encouragement

from.

[Steve] From the stories in the Bible that I often think of is one you might think of

exhibiting a lack of faith.

And that's where Peter gets out of the boat and starts to walk to Jesus.

And we often think well, he's sunk down in the water and Jesus had to save him, and

then he talks about how you might lack faith.

And yet, to have the confidence when Christ says come here and he actually steps out of

the boat and starts to walk on the water—I mean, that's phenomenal faith!

And so, he did exhibit faith and then it started to wane and I think it reminds us, all right,

when we have those times in our life, when our faith isn't as strong as it needs to

be, where do we look to?

We've got to look to Jesus Christ.

We've got to look to God the Father for those times of support.

And Peter is such an amazing example of that.

Sometimes we just got to get out of the boat, start walking right towards God and recognize

He is our Savior.

That's where we need to put our trust and our confidence.

[Gary] I would've been one of the other disciples saying, Peter you do it!

You do it!

Show Him your faith.

We all struggle with this.

In today's program, I've discussed how there is a real crisis of faith in the lives

of many people.

Faced with worries and troubles, many simply have no confidence that a better tomorrow

is possible.

Perhaps you feel this way—but the good news is—you don't have to!

You can have genuine faith if you look to God and rely on His Word, the Bible.

Now to help you learn much more about faith and how it can help be a vital part of your

Lord, help me believe!

To experience transforming faith, first let go of the hero fallacy.

The people of the Bible were just like you and me.

They had moments of anxiety and doubt, but God was greater than their weakness.

He is greater than your weakness.

Study the Bible to understand that faith is more than belief.

It involves total commitment, trust and obedience to your Creator.

And learn to live daily by faith in the "little things" of life.

This faith training will prepare you for the bigger problems.

I STOLE A CAR! (COPS INVOLVED) - Duration: 4:06.

This video is not clickbait

I legit stole a car!

so back when I was 14 or 15 years old

I was one of those kids that always wanted

to start driving

everywhere we went

I would want to start the car even like with my parents

i would ask my dad to give me the keys and i would just go to the car

and turn it on and... for some reason

that would make me feel better i don't know some kind of weird thing

anyway, my family had a Kia van at that time so lets just go with this for now

my dad was out of the country he had a conference in Dubai

my uncle was staying over at our place at the time

my mum, sister, our family friend and her daughter were downstairs in the living room.

i was studying in my room upstairs

when suddenly out of no where

this light bulb turns on in my head

and tells me to go take the keys

and walk out of the house so i creep down the stairs slowly

and notice there is no one in the living room

but most of the noise is coming from the kitchen.

i bolt out of the house, and i'm like i gotta get out of here.

so now im driving around the block

in this white van not knowing where to go

just going around our block like an idiot

i take a couple of strong turns around the corners

that make the tires screetch and think that im the boss

now and like "oh my god im drifting" and im like OH yea! oh yea

anyway, i get back to the house park the car

so i head back in, my mum, our family friend and my uncle

are sitting in the living room, they look at me

and ask me so where were you?

and im like, I just lied and was like i was outside

and i go up to my room and continue studying

and suddenly the doorbell rings

and im like who the hell is that

it totally crossed my mind i just stole my dads car

so i go to the upstairs balcony to look over and see that my uncle

is opening the door for some cops

and im like oh shit this cop looks mad

and suddenly i remember

ahhh i stole my dads

car thats why they're

here so my mum yells for me

she looks mad my uncle looks at me and gives me this look

like you done fu*cked up

and im like alright, crap im going

to hell right now.

so, basically my mum asks me if i stole the car,

im like no no no i just deny everything

go back to my room actually googling grand theft auto

Three Ways to Print PDFs with Comments and Mark-Ups in Adobe Acrobat DC - Duration: 4:09.

Hello, my name is Erin.

My blog at ErinWrightWriting.com is all about sharing writing tips for the real world.

Today's tutorial is going to show you how to print PDFs with comments and mark-ups

in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and Adobe Acrobat Standard DC.

More specifically, we'll look at how to print comment and mark-up summaries on separate pages,

how to print mark-up and comments with lines to the text,

And how to print comment and mark-up symbols without the corresponding text in the comment and mark-up pop-ups

To print summaries of comments and mark-ups on separate pages from the text,

select the Print button in the main toolbar.

Then select the Summarize Comments button in the Print dialog box.

Another dialog box will appear asking if you would like to include the summarized comments in the printout .

Select Yes.

Now select the Print button in the Print dialog box.

You can also print comment and mark-up summaries on separate pages

by selecting Print with Comment Summary in the Comment Pane's Option menu.

If you want to print comments and mark-ups with lines to the text,

select the Tools tab,

and then select the Comment button in the Tools Center.

Select the Option menu in the Comment pane,

and then Create Comment Summary.

Now you can choose document and comments with connector lines on separate pages

or document and comments with connector lines on single pages.

You can also choose to print comments only

or print the document and comments with sequenced numbers on separate pages.

If you choose to do that, the sequenced numbers are like footnote numbers.

Once you've made your choice, select the Create Comment Summary button.

The comments summary will appear on a separate tab

named Summary of Comments on then your file name.

Select the Print button on the main toolbar

and then the Print button in the Print dialog box.

As an aside, if you would like to share the edited text with other reviewers without sharing the original document,

you can choose to save the Summary of Comments as a separate PDF.

You can also print PDFs with comment and mark-up symbols only

instead of printing the symbols with the corresponding text in the comment and mark-up popups.

Once again, select the Tools tab

and then select the Comment button in the Tools Center.

Now select the Options menu in the Comment pane,

and then Commenting Preferences.

In the Preferences dialog box, select Print notes and pop-ups and

then OK.

Now select the Print button in the main toolbar

and ensure that Documents and Markups is selected in the Comments & Forms drop-down menu.

Finally, select the Print button.

Please note that Acrobat will keep Print notes and pop-ups selected in the preferences dialog box indefinitely.

So remember to deselect that options if you don't want future documents

to print with comment and markup symbols.

You can find this tutorial in written format

on my blog at ErinWrightWriting.com, which is linked below.

Feel free to leave me a comment if you have a question

about Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat

that you'd like me to address in a future video.

This simple phrase will stop gossip once and for all - Duration: 2:45.

Gossip has no place in a respectful and mature society. Yet, it does exist and unfortunately,

adults are usually the ones who are spreading it. Gossip is associated with idle talk or

rumors about someone's personal life or decisions. You have likely heard gossip, or

even been in the gossip circles yourself. Today we will discuss the topic of gossip,

who it affects and how to stop it.

Have you ever wondered why we gossip? Many, many people engage in and encourage gossiping.

There are so many reality shows and gossip magazines in the media today. We inherently

talk about what is going on in our lives, and of those that we know and love. Yet, we

usually do this in a loving way. Most of the time, we tend to gossip about someone that

we do not like and we get some juicy information about. While, at the time, the information

may be interesting, it is not a good idea to engage in this behavior.

Most of the time, you will find that people gossip because they do not feel good about

themselves. It is easy to bring others down, rather than to focus on themselves and how

to improve. They are often looking for attention and if they provide some juicy gossip to others,

they will get swarmed around by others and made to feel important.

Many psychologists have studied the act of gossiping. Studies have found that gossiping

is just as harmful to the gossiper as it is to the person being talked about. Can you

believe that sixty percent of conversations between adults are about someone who is not

present in that conversation. That is ridiculous.

Now that we know that most people gossip, the question becomes,

how do we stop? If someone is trying to drag you into a conversation about someone else

that you really do not want to be in, simply ask them,  "Why are you telling me this?"

This question will stop them in their tracks because it  disrupts their motive and their

thought process. It takes away the attention off of them. It also makes it clear to them

that you are not interested in being involved in this conversation. When you ask this question,

they will stop. They may mumble some kind of an answer, but it never is a good, legitimate

one. At that point, you can clearly state that you do not wish to be involved in that

discussion and suggest that they discuss their information with the person that they are

talking about.

Our society has become one that revolves around other people's pains. Instead of joining

this trend, refuse to engage in a conversation about a person that they would likely be

hurt by should they overhear it.

3 Serious Reasons Why You Need to Stop Using Your Smartphone at Night - Duration: 2:40.

3 Serious Reasons Why You Need to Stop Using Your Smartphone at Night!

Let's face it, we all like to browse the Net, play a game, or use some new application

on the smartphone before going to bed.

You might want to check the weather forecast for the next day, chat with your friends,

or see the pictures you took that afternoon.

Yet, researchers are constantly examining the effects of smartphones on our health and

wellbeing and their findings are not positive.

You might have already heard of cell phone radiation, which is a thing numerous people

worry about.

Apparently, the blue light emitted by these phones causes various severe health problems.

"Blue light is part of the full light spectrum, which means we're exposed to it by the sun

every day.

However, nighttime exposure to that light, which is emitted at high levels by smartphones,

tablets, laptops, and other LED screens, may be damaging your vision.

It also suppresses production of the hormone melatonin, which throws off your body's

natural sleep cues."

Scientists have found that smartphones are linked to the following three health issues:

Increased cancer risk.

Increased light at night leads to disturbed sleep, and this raises the cancer risk, especially

breasts and prostate cancer.

Melatonin is a potent antioxidant and is a natural weapon of the body against cancer,

but it is suppressed by "blue light".

If this happens once, it might not be a huge health issue, but continued use of smartphones

at bedtime causes severe health problems.

Sleep Loss.

"Blue light" disrupts the production of melatonin, as mentioned above, and this hormone

regulates the sleeping cycle of the body.

If the body lacks sleep, the skewed sleeping cycle will lead to multiple health issues:

Weight gain, Depression,

Cardiovascular Problems, Lack of Memory Recall,

Aged Skin, Slower Response Time,

Eye Damage.

The exposure to "blue light" at night leads to damage to the retina and macular

degeneration, which is the loss of central vision, or the ability to see in front of

you, as well as cataracts.

According to one doctor, whose 35-years old patient had cloudy, cataract-affected eyes

similar to 75-year-olds, the use of smartphones before going to sleep is the main cause of

the problem, but this needs to be examined further.

Top 3 Signs That You Are Lucid Dreaming: Easy Way / The Lucid Dreaming Expert: Awareness - Duration: 1:45.

One thing beginners often wonder about is whether or not they were dreaming lucidly.

Yes, you may have had a wonderfully vivid dream, but is that the same as being lucid?

How can you tell the difference?

These three easy tips will assist.

1.

Awareness: The first step to knowing if you are dreaming lucidly is knowing that you are

dreaming in the first place.

The entire principle of lucid dreaming lies in the simplicity of becoming conscious, and

aware of the fact that you are in a dream.

The moment you realise that you are dreaming, you are lucid.

2.

Physical Laws don't Apply: Sometimes we will have dreams in which physical laws do

not apply: dreams that we can fly or shoot fire out of our eyes.

That doesn't necessarily mean that you are lucid though.

During lucidity, you have the control and awareness to be able to create any scenario

you please.

A lot of the time, these will be ordinary scenarios recreated from memory and expectation.

But it is also within your control to build environments from your creativity – ones

in which physical laws fall away.

3.

Your Wish Is Your Command: That leads to the last point.

You can be sure you are lucid if what you wish for happens.

In ordinary dreams, we just go with the flow.

We can wonder why something is happening and wish that things were different, but that

doesn't change them.

In lucidity, whatever you imagine comes to pass, so this is a sure way to know that you

are lucid.

And once you realise that you are lucid?

Enjoy it!

You never know how long you may be lucid for – especially if you are new to it – so

embrace the experience and make the most of it.

How to Frame Pastels Without a Mat & How to Store Pastel Paintings - Duration: 3:08.

Hi everyone!

Today I'm showing you how I store and frame my soft pastel paintings.

I love the bright colors of soft pastels, but they can be really messy and it's difficult

to store the paintings without getting the pastel dust all over.

First, I want to say that what I'm showing you is not a professional way to store or

frame art.

These are just cheap and easy ways to do with tools I already have.

I usually store my pastel paintings in a pile with baking paper between each paper so they

don't mess each other up.

And the same goes for charcoal drawings.

And this is how I frame pastel art or watercolor and acrylic paintings on paper as well.

For this one I'm using a cheap frame from Ikea, which is actually not even a real glass

frame.

And because the pastel will smudge the glass, if they touch, I want to try and leave a little

space between them.

So I cut strips of black paper...

And fold them once to make them thicker and place those in the edges between the glass

and painting.

This also gives the painting a border.

You could also use a different color than the frame to make the border stand out more,

if you want.

You can buy window mats for this purpose, but this is an easy and cheap alternative

way to do it yourself.

And where do you find cheap frames?

As I said this one was from Ikea, but you can also find cheap frames from fleamarkets

and second-hand stores, for example.

Thanks for watching!

-------------------------------------------

Top 3 Signs That You Are Not Lucid Dreaming: Easy Way / The Lucid Dreaming Expert: Unawareness - Duration: 1:31.

It can be easy to confuse a very detailed dream with being lucid.

Fortunately, there are ways of being able to tell the difference, and for some it may

be easy to know that you not dreaming lucidly, rather than trying to decide if you are.

1.

Lack of Control: If you find yourself wishing for things to be different in your dream,

but nothing changes, you probably aren't lucid.

If you have no control over the events, circumstances, characters, environments or outcomes of your

dream, then you can be sure that you are having a normal dream in which you aren't lucid.

2.

The Unexpected Happens: Lucid dreams are built around expectations: what the mind expects

is what the mind will create within a lucid dream.

There may be some elements of surprise during lucidity, but not to the degree that you have

no control over them.

When a dream is filled with the unexpected and everything catches you by surprise, it's

most likely that you aren't lucid.

3.

Go with the Flow: If you are just moving along with your dream, not knowing what will happen

next, moving from one place to the next without knowing how you got there or if the logic

even follows, then you aren't lucid.

Lucid dreamers can choose where to go, and how to get there.

Don't be discouraged if you haven't dreamt lucidly.

It can happen at its own pace sometimes, but as long as you are putting dream techniques

to good practise and have a desire to do it, it will happen.
