Waching daily Mar 17 2017

If you're a young person and

you're trapped in a relationship where

you don't feel comfortable or if you're

being asked to do things that you're not

comfortable doing, it's important

that you speak with somebody that you trust

One of the things I try to do, is talk about is

choice and make sure they understand

what choice means, it isn't about

somebody coercing them it isn't about

somebody blackmailing them it isn't

about somebody intimidating them

choice is about somebody asking them a

question, whether it's will you

sleep with me, will you go out with me

will you do this for me, will you do this

with me and when they say yes, if at

some point they feel uncomfortable, if at

some point they feel it's not

working for them they can say no but if

they then feel that they can't say no

it's about okay who can I talk to who's

going to listen to me without me feeling

guilty, without me feeling I'm going to get into trouble

What you must realise, is that you must never feel embarrassed or

ashamed or that you can't talk, there are

many people out there to help you who want to support you

This is a very difficult step for a young person to make

and organisations like Safe and Sound

do understand this but if you

have sent images via text or

email and the person who you've sent

them to is blackmailing you with these

images to keep you quiet you still need

to tell someone whether it's the police

an organisation like Safe and Sound,

they've been trained to support you

and they can do everything they can to

prevent you being harmed any further

If you're worried for yourself or

actually you know if you've seen changes

in your friend if they're not spending

time with you anymore and they've got a

new friendship group and you're hearing

things around things that are doing

that might not be particularly safe,

you're concerned about their change of

behaviour, are they not at school as much

anymore for example?

If you're concerned in any way it's

really important to approach somebody

that you trust, that might actually be

going straight to a teacher or even

telling your own parents and then they

can make that approach for you so if

you've got an open relationship with

your parents have that kind of

discussion with them and hopefully they

can help you to help protect your friends

There are other avenues of

support so places like Childline which

is a 0800 1 111, you can call them and

speak with them about any issues that

you might be having

if you're worried about something and you don't feel safe

and you're feeling sick in the

pit of your stomach and you don't know

what to do I'm going to ask you to be

brave and I know how hard that is when

you don't feel safe but you need to

trust us you need to believe that if you

do talk to somebody whether that be a

best mate who's going to help you go and

talk to somebody else whether that's a

teacher that you like in school whether

that's somebody that you've already got a

strong relationship with, talk to them

Dashing through the snow

In a one horse open sleigh

O'er the fields we go

Laughing all the way

Bells on bob tails ring

Making spirits bright

What fun it is to ride and sing

A sleighing song tonight

jingle bells jingle bells

Jingle all the way

Oh what fun it is to ride

In a one horse open sleigh

Jingle bells jingle bells

Jingle all the way

Oh what fun it is to ride

In a one horse open sleigh

A day or two ago

I thought I'd take a ride

And soon Miss Fanny Bright

Was seated by my side

The horse was lean and lank

Misfortune seemed his lot

We got into a drifted bank

And then we got upsot

Oh jingle bells jingle bells

Jingle all the way

Oh what fun it is to ride

In a one horse open sleigh

Jingle bells jingle bells

Jingle all the way

Oh what fun it is to ride

In a one horse open sleigh

A day or two ago

The story I must tell

I went out on the snow

And on my back I fell;

A gent was riding by

In a one-horse open sleigh

He laughed as there I sprawling lie

But quickly drove away.

Jingle bells jingle bells

Jingle all the way.

Oh! what fun it is to ride

In a one-horse open sleigh.

Jingle bells jingle bells

Jingle all the way.

Oh! what fun it is to ride

In a one-horse open sleigh.

Now the ground is white

Go it while you're young

Take the girls tonight

and sing this sleighing song;

Just get a bob tailed bay

Two forty as his speed

And hitch him to an open sleigh

And crack! you'll take the lead.

Jingle bells jingle bells

Jingle all the way.

Oh! what fun it is to ride

In a one-horse open sleigh.

Jingle bells jingle bells

Jingle all the way;

Oh! what fun it is to ride

In a one-horse open sleigh.

What You Do On Your Cell Phone Could Come Back To Haunt You - Duration: 8:03.

What You Do On Your Cell Phone Could Come Back To Haunt You

By Michael Snyder

As far as Big Brother is concerned, nothing that you do on your cell phone is ever private.

And if the government really wants to see what is on your cell phone, they are going

to get that information one way or another, even if that means resorting to physical violence.

On Monday, NBC News provided us with yet another glaring example of how the United States is

being transformed into a Big Brother police state. On January 1st, Akram Shibly and Kelly

McCormick from Buffalo, New York were coming back home from a trip to Toronto, and they

didnt anticipate any unusual problems when they got to the border. Unfortunately for

them, U.S. Customs & Border Protection agents decided to take their cell phones, demanded

their passwords, and kept them in custody for the next two hours as they searched for

anything that might be incriminating on those phones.

You might be thinking that sounds like it should be illegal, and you would be correct,

but sadly federal courts have ruled that our constitutional rights do not apply to border

searches. So authorities use this legal loophole to do pretty much anything they want at the

border.

If that young couple from Buffalo would have had something illegal on their phones, they

could have been immediately arrested and put in prison.

And we havent even gotten to the worst part of the story yet. Just a few days later

Akram Shibly and Kelly McCormick took another trip to Canada, and this time border agents

physically assaulted Akram when he did not immediately turn over his phone. The following

comes from NBC News

Three days later, they returned from another trip to Canada and were stopped again by CBP.

One of the officers calls out to me and says, Hey, give me your phone,' recalled

Shibly. And I said, No, because I already went through this.'

The officer asked a second time.

Within seconds, he was surrounded: one man held his legs, another squeezed his throat

from behind. A third reached into his pocket, pulling out his phone. McCormick watched her

boyfriends face turn red as the officers chokehold tightened.

Is this still America?

I cant believe that this is what the United States has become. When I was young I remember

reading about this sort of thing in Nazi Germany, the USSR and Communist China, but I never

imagined that it would happen here. For years I have been warning about this growing Big

Brother police state control grid, and I wish that more Americans would realize how

evil all of this government surveillance truly is.

You can watch an interview where this couple from Buffalo talks to NBC News about this

recent incident at the border right here. It is so disgusting that this is how we are

treating law abiding people when countless numbers of drug dealers and gang members are

pouring across unprotected sections of our border every single day.

Unfortunately, cell phone searches at the border appear to be rising at an exponential

rate. According to NBC News, more cell phone searches were conducted at the border during

the month of February 2017 than in the entire year of 2015

Data provided by the Department of Homeland Security shows that searches of cellphones

by border agents has exploded, growing fivefold in just one year, from fewer than 5,000 in

2015 to nearly 25,000 in 2016.

According to DHS officials, 2017 will be a blockbuster year. Five-thousand devices were

searched in February alone, more than in all of 2015.

And of course it isnt just searches at the border that you need to be concerned about.

Not too long ago, it was being reported that the CIA has helped the Justice Department

with technology that allows law enforcement officials to scan data from thousands of

U.S. cellphones at a time from the safety of a plane

The Central Intelligence Agency played a crucial role in helping the Justice Department develop

technology that scans data from thousands of U.S. cellphones at a time, part of a secret

high-tech alliance between the spy agency and domestic law enforcement, according to

people familiar with the work.

The CIA and the U.S. Marshals Service, an agency of the Justice Department, developed

technology to locate specific cellphones in the U.S. through an airborne device that mimics

a cellphone tower, these people said.

So the next time a strange plane flies over your house, this may be what is happening.

Here is more on this disturbing new technology

The program operates specially equipped planes that fly from five U.S. cities, with a flying

range covering most of the U.S. population. Planes are equipped with devicessome past

versions were dubbed dirtboxes by law-enforcement officialsthat trick cellphones into reporting

their unique registration information.

I have a feeling that if this program was ever challenged in court that it would be

ruled unconstitutional, so lets hope that happens as soon as possible.

But then again, the NSA has been collecting and storing all forms of electronic communication

for years and nothing is being done about. We have even had a 36-year veteran of the

NSA named William Binney come out and publicly admit that all of our phone conversations

are being monitored and stored and still nothing is done to stop it.

So dont do anything on your cell phone that you wouldnt want the government to

see, because someday they could use it to nail you.

Of course we also need to use discretion regarding the things that we know the public will be

able to see. When you post something to Facebook or Twitter, you may think that it is harmless,

but it could end up costing you big time. In fact, I just came across an article about

how a number of pastors have actually been fired because of what is on their social media

accounts

Its not fair I lost my job, the pastor told me.

My church members post a lot worse things than I do on social media. Its a double

standard.

Hes right. It is a double standard. But its reality. And, with greater frequency,

more pastors and church staff are losing their jobs because of what they post, particularly

on Facebook and Twitter and, to some extent, their blogs.

By the way, churches will not always tell the pastor the specific reason for the firing.

But, once we begin to infuriate our church members with our posts, many will find a myriad

of reasons to give us the boot.

Like the title to this article says, what you do on your cell phone could come back

to haunt you.

For many Americans, cell phones have become an essential part of modern life, but the

truth is that those little electronic devices can also destroy our lives if we are not careful.

So if you are going to use them, use them wisely, because people are watching.

Tips & Insights For Composers #7: Focus as a company | Brand X Music - Duration: 6:10.

The 15 years of Brand X has been around has seen a lot of changes

You know when we started it was this niche

kind of company where we wrote only, exclusively

for motion picture advertising

and so that was kind of our are selling point

we're going to give you the highest quality library music

but it's going to be only for motion pictures and

in the last 15 years we've seen

the demand for that really expand.

And so now we're used all over the world,

in many different applications and so

that also broadened our stylistic approach,

the types of music that we would think

would be called trailer music, or library music

and so we've been able to really grow stylistically

and cover a big vast genre of styles.

The other thing too is that

when we started out, trailer music was either

music from another film that had been repurposed

for a current trailer or

was a pop tune or something like that

it was very few companies that were writing custom scores for trailers

So that's was an area where John and I can be, you know,

our slogan "Innovators of Epic".

We were on the front lines for really the birth of this kind of music

with some of our notable competitors.

But the other thing that happened is

library music in general at the time was

really seen as a low-budget alternative

if you couldn't afford a composer and so

John and I've really been lucky to be

working in a period of time

library music is now not some bad leftover that you use

because you don't have anything else to use

but it's become a viable place to get high quality music

and so for us, as John said, the ability to

spread out and to express ourselves musically

in different genres bringing the ultra high quality of Brand X Music

but taking that quality and putting it

into areas that would you know whether

it's a beer commercial or whether it's a

sports advert or whether it's something

for the Olympics you know we've had the

opportunity to do a lot of other things musically

other than just selling movies

But that does remain the core of our business.

Yeah I think another thing that speaks to that

is that early on in my musical career,

I had, especially in the early days, when I just had couple of

synthesizers and maybe a drum machine

and a little fostex model 88 track

I would listen to music that inspired me

and you're always thinking

"Oh wow if only I had a record deal, If I only had money to go into the studio

and do this, then my music could be really great"

and then at one point just occurred to me

it's at some point you're gonna

have to take away those excuses

So it's always been for the last 20 years 25 years or so

I've always thought of "Okay so these are the tools

that you have. Now you better make the best music

that you possibly can with that and there aren't any excuses

And I think that's kind of

carried us along to really perceive that

music can have a really high level of quality

and it's not dependent on external things

but it's about the notes and the passion

and what you really put into it.

I would agree and so in that spirit

we thought that we put together

a series of webisodes that would share

the passion we have for writing music,

the tools we use to create the music,

the inspiration we try to find to come up with

the next big idea, and just sort of share

with you guys the struggles and successes

and sort of what it's like to try to do this for a living

We're really really lucky that we've got a pretty good team

We will introduce you to

some of the other individuals that help us

create the music and hopefully we can

give you guys some information, some tips,

maybe release you from your struggles that

if you're dry for an idea

And a lot of the time even just by hearing other people

have the same struggles is enough

to give you confidence to go back and find a new idea.

That's one of the big discoveries that

I have made in find it

there's this idea that somebody who has a career in something

They've kind of arrived and they no longer struggle

and they're not striving

or it's not hard and you know Tom and I

have been fortunate enough to be a bit

around some of our heroes and to hear them

say that "Yeah every time I wake up every morning,

it's another blank page".

And it's really true, you know, the creative process

can be a very lonely process

There is this sense that

when we're looking at the blank file or the blank page

wow today is the day that I have no idea

Am I gonna be able to write another piece of music

as good as what I already did

or it might tap out

And I think for more work coming from

it's just a real honest admission that creativity

especially if you're trying to do something new

it hasn't been done before

you got a lot to make, you have to make a lot of mistakes

and you have to be okay with that

the first time you play a piece of music for somebody

there's so much of you in that you can feel very vulnerable

and that is, from where we sit and from our experience,

that is a very very common theme

and so first of all just

leveling the playing field

you know that's really okay

Hey ladies, happy St. Patrick's Day! Today

we've got an awesome workout for you all

about St. Patrick's Day. So as you know

the date today is 3-17-17, so we're going

to do 3 St. Patrick's Day themed

exercises, 17 reps of each exercise, and

you're going to do that as many times as

you can through in 17 minutes. So less

than 20 minutes and you're going to get

a full total body workout. So excited to share this with you.

It's also super important to make sure that any time

you're going to exercise that you are

healthy enough and ready to go -- that your

doctor said it's okay and that you're

feeling good. And always work within your

limits. So first make sure you've warmed

up so you're already ready to go. Maybe

some arm circles, jog in place, do some

jumping jacks, and then let's get started.

Exercise number one: We've got leprechaun leaps.

So jump up, swing your arms, working up up

for height. Good, so 17 of those and

then 17 rainbows. We're going to the side, all the way up, hop over.

And then shamrock shakes -- not the drink.

Coming down here on your hands or down on your

forearms, and we're rocking side to side.

So we've got leprechaun leaps,

we've got rainbows -- lunge, pop over, and

then we got your shamrock shakes.

You're going to each one of those 17

times

as many times as you can get through for

17 minutes. I want to know how many times

you go through that workout in 17

minutes. Ready, set, and go!
