Waching daily Mar 19 2017

Happy weekend from Fextralife!

If you've been too busy to keep up on the latest in the games we cover or are looking

for a refresher we've got your back.

Let's take a look at the comings and goings across the Fextralife Wiki Network.

Check out the video above and read on for the text!

Bandai Namco has released new information and screenshots on From Software's Dark

Souls 3: The big news is the confirmation of password matchmaking in the arena

The password matchmaking in the arena allows for a variety of customizations.

You can set a password to allow for matching with friendly team only and the enemy team

is matched with another, or you can have everyone use the same password and finally you can

select which team to be a part of.

This should make coordination with friends a lot more user friendly.

The new arenas coming with the expansion are called Dragon Ruins and Grand Roof.

As you can see in the screenshots, it's an Archdragon Peak-themed arena with crumbling

ruins and elevations to lurk and ambush and the Grand Roof of Lothric Castle, where you

find the 3 Golden Winged Knights is a more spacious and open area.

The new arenas will be available on the 24th for Ashes of Ariandel and Season Pass owners

or on release day if you are planning to pick up The Ringed City alone.

As long as you can access the Undead Match, you can access every arena map.

Later in the day, we got a look at some footage of the 2 new arenas:

If you're thinking about or already pre-ordered the Deluxe or Super Deluxe editions of Mass

Effect: Andromeda, BioWare has added some extra pre-order bonuses that will be available

in May 2017.

Many of the bonuses are in game Armor, Weapons, cosmetics upgrades to the Nomad and Multiplayer

perks.

They are as follows: 1 exclusive Multiplayer Pack – featuring

your highest chance of getting an Ultra-Rare item

2 additional custom Nomad Skins – explore open worlds in style

1 additional Pathfinder Casual outfit – perfect for your romance ambitions

This is in addition to the pre-order bonuses that have already been annoucned for both

editions

Later in the week, they released a gameplay trailer for Mass Effect: Andromeda that looks

at the upcoming Sci-Fi RPG's multiplayer.

Multiplayer is a 4 player cooperative affair against escalating waves of enemies where

you will clear a series of objectives and then extract from the battlefield.

You'll choose from 25 different characters from the different races with their unique

skills and then will pick a loadout of weapons.

Players can also choose boosters that grant ammo, skill cooldowns or extra XP.

There will be 5 multiplayer maps at launch called Firebase Sandstorm, Firebase Zero,

Firebase Icebreaker, Firebase Magma and Firebase Sandstorm.

At the end of a match all the XP, credits and medals earned are added up and awarded

evenly to everyone.

XP is used to level up your character, credits are used to buy packs, unlock weapons, characters

and mods.

Strike Missions are another way the game incorporates multiplayer.

From the single player campaign you can send strike teams on missions for rewards.

These missions can either be completed by your strike teams or you can complete them

with other players online.

To culminate the week, the game went into early access and we hosted a livestream to

show off the game's opening cinematic moments as well as some exploration.

We'll be streaming at launch day so be sure to subscribe to our channel to keep a look

out for when we go live There's still time to enter our Mass Effect:

Andromeda giveaway!

Head over to the Wiki's homepage and fill out the entry form there.

You can earn daily multiple entries until the game's release on March 21st for the

PS4, Xbox One and PC.

In a quick note on Horizon Zero Dawn, we learned that Guerrilla's new action RPG became the

Square Enix has released a new trailer for Final Fantasy XV's upcoming DLC, Episode

Gladiolus.

The DLC is set to release March 28th on PS4 and Xbox One and will let players play as

party member Gladiolus in a story chapter that explores his backstory.

The video shows some of the settings the DLC will take place in and they are very different

in tone from the main game.

There's a darker, more serious theme to this content and the gameplay will be focused

on Gladiolus' impressive use of greatswords.

Thoughts on the trailer?

Episode Gladiolus is part of the game's Season Pass and is not yet priced for standalone

purchase.

Bungie detailed some of the activities coming in Destiny's Age of Triumph, the spring

update coming at the end of March.

Many of the event's activities center around acquiring the Treasure of Ages which allows

you to earn all of the armor, emblems, emotes, masks, ships, and ornaments you may have missed

over the life of the game as well as brand new items.

The event begins by talking to the Speaker to receive a new quest that sends you into

the new Weekly Story playlist, which is a 380 Light level activity.

Each week will feature a specific selection of missions with modifiers and you can earn

legendary marks and a Treasure of the Ages to complete them.

Two more Treasure of Ages can be obtained for free each week–one for your first completion

of the Siva Crisis Heroic playlist and one for the Weekly Crucible.

There will be a 380 Light level Weekly Nightfall Strike playlist availabe once every 4 weeks

. Scoring is enabled and the Nightfall buff has returned.

There is a new buff called Daybreak which makes enemies tougher but shortens cooldowns.

Challenge of the Elders is being raised to 390 Light level.

Your first three completions of the week provide 10 Legendary Marks each, and you'll still

find the original on the Reef section.

The Elder Scrolls Online Thieves Guild event is the one year anniversary of the release

of the Thieves Guild.

The Thieves Guild anniversary event concludes on Monday, March 20th at 10am EST so you still

have some time left!

To adventurers in Hew's Bane the following goodies will apply:

Double the items received from crafting nodes in Hew's Bane (This only applies to normal

crafting nodes, not nodes spawned from Survey Reports.)

Double rewards for killing World Bosses and bosses in delves in Hew's Bane

Double Defiled Whiskers, the dro-m'Athra crafting style item, from killing bosses in

the Maw of Lorkhaj Increased rewards from Heists

Non-perfect Heists give the reward for perfect Heists; perfect Heists award double the crates

The return of the original Thieves Guild Collector's Bundle to the Crown Store at a substantial

discount, featuring: The Thieves Guild DLC game pack

The Hammerfell Camel mount The Kindlespit Dragon Frog pet

Five Crown Experience Scrolls 25% off Crown Store purchases of the Thieves

Guild DLC game pack

Focus Home Interactive and Deck 13 gave us an intense new combat trailer for The Surge

that showed off some of the brutal exoskeleton combat we'll be experiencing when the game

drops in May.

The Surge is taking taking Deck 13's Lords of the Fallen roots to a new scifi level while

giving it a combat feel that has more in common with Bloodborne without taking away the heft

of wearing a mech suit.

The limb targeting system should make for some visceral and highly engaging combat encounters.

This past week, Phoenix Labs released a new trailer for Dauntless, their upcoming monster

slaying online RPG.

The trailer gives us a look at some of the gameplay we can expect.

The gameplay shows a party of slayers taking down different types of the game's signature

monsters called behemoths.

The party uses a variety of weapons to dispatch an owl-like Shrike first and then takes out

a Pangar which conjures up images of the ravenous crystal lizards in Dark Souls 3.

The trailer finishes with a look at another fearsome beast called a Drask which we can

anticipate seeing in more detail down the road.

Later in the week, in a blog post they explored how players will be able to customize and

make the game their own by applying the spoils of battle to their armor, using a variety

of flares to make a stellar entrance and by using dyes and other cosmetic items to really

let their unique personalities shine.

The game is looking like a lot of fun for a party of 4 and has a definite Monster Hunter

vibe going for it.

A beta is coming in the fall and players can sign up for it on the Dauntless website.

The game is set to release on PC sometime in 2017.

Please watch the whole Video and also subscribe My Channel to watch more new and interesting

Videos.

Health Secrets. https://www.youtube.com/c/HealthSecrets01

OK Friends: 1st of all we must know about the causes of yellow Teeth.

Causes of Yellow Teeth:

1st and main cause of yellow and dirty teeth is smoking. Smoking or chewing tobacco can

stain teeth. Poor dental cleanliness.

Insufficient brushing, flossing, and rinsing with an antiseptic mouthwash to remove plaque

and stain Coffee and tobacco are also the cause of tooth

discoloration. Thin tooth enamel also makes teeth look yellow.

Whiten Your Teeth with Home Remedies:

Ingredients:

Take 2 Teaspoon of Backing Soda. Fresh Lemon Juice or Water.

Making: Mix the baking soda with enough fresh lemon

juice or water and make a paste. Rub your teeth and any took any extra saliva

off of them with a towel. Take the healthy amount of paste onto your toothbrush and apply

it. Leave the paste on for 1 minute, then rinse.

It is a great remedy to Whiten Your Teeth.

Whitening Teeth Home Remedy # 2

Ingredients:

4 Large Strawberries. ½ Teaspoon of Backing Soda.

Pinch of Salt.

Process:

Mash up all the strawberries in a bowl and add up pinch of sale and ½ teaspoon of backing

soda. Make a paste of it. Now apply this paste onto your teeth and leave

it for 5-8 Minutes. Then clean the teeth with water.

Teeth Whitening Home Remedy # 3

Ingredients:

½ table spoon backing Soda (Not Backing Powder) A Good Tooth Paste like Colgate or Pepsodent.

1 table spoon Lemon Jiuce.

Process:

Take the backing soda in a bowl and some toothpaste in it.

Now mix it well and make it a paste. Now add I table spoon lemon juice and mix

all three thing well.

Now apply the paste onto teeth and brush the teeth like normal way.

Friends backing soda is very good to remove the stains from teeth.

But initially apply the backing soda twice in a week and then once in week.

Excessive use of backing soda is not good for the enamel layer of teeth. It will thin

the enamel layer which can cause the damage your teeth.

So limited use of backing soda is very good for teeth whitening.

'But You Don't Look Disabled' | Sophie - Duration: 9:41.

Well hello everybody and welcome back to my channel

or if you are new welcome to my channel.

I hope you are doing super duper well today.

So for today's video I thought I would talk about something that I personally experience

myself quite a lot and I see it happen quite a lot

and I hear about it quite a lot.

And that is when people say well you don't 'look' disabled.

and therefore they don't think you should be doing whatever you are doing

or they think you are lying or … whatever they're doing it for.

It's the whole you don't look disabled like disabled has a look!

[Intro Music]

So for some unknown reason people seem to think that there is a certain look that you

have to be disabled and if you don't look have that look you

aren't disabled basically.

And, I think that it's just people not having their mind open to the fact that there are

things such as invisible illnesses and things that are going on in the outside.

or even illnesses that maybe you can see but some times don't effect you as badly as

others.

And I think obviously the most obvious one is if you don't have a leg

or an arm or if you are in a wheelchair all the time

or if you are old.

If you are young people think that you are healthy and that you are too young to be disabled

Blah de blah de blah.

It's just … It happens to me

and it has happened to me and I see it happening

and I hear it happening And a lot of invisible illnesses are illnesses

obviously which are invisible.

You can't see them on the outside.

On the outside, you're completely normal and you look healthy for the most part.

I think that the most common one that I hear about from my friends or that I see in the

papers - I know I read one recently or maybe it was

a video…

I think I read it though, and that is people parking in a disabled base??

disabled base?

haha a disabled space.

when they don't look disabled.

Now I hate the whole like you 'look' disabled thing because there is no look that you have

to be disabled.

[anyway] I know I read one recently where a woman and her daughter went to a shopping

mall or centre whenever you are in the world.

And the mother is disabled and she has a wheel chair but she is not wheel chair bound

Some days are better than others And some days she is able to walk a little

bit and some days she can't walk at all.

And on this day, she happened to be having a half decent day so when they got to the

shopping centre they parked in the disabled space because she has a disabled spot (badge).

And someone obviously saw them and they left a note and …

Now, this woman and daughter had a really good day in the shopping centre because she

… you know, the mum was having a good day and

managed to walk around the shopping centre.. slowly all be it but managed to walk around

with her daughter which she hadn't done in a while because she was having you know

she had a bad spell and she was having relatively good this day.

She paid for it after and she didn't feel so good when she got back to the car

but at the time of getting out the car and you know for the most part of the day she

was having a really good day health wise and everything.

And someone saw them and obviously thought that they didn't look 'disabled'.

because there's a look (sarcasm) and they left a note on the car saying that

they should be ashamed of themselves for parking in a disabled bay

when there are plenty of people that disabled and need it and all of this.

And I know if I got a note like this I would be horrified

I would get so upset.

And so did, you know, did this woman because just because you happen to see this woman

when she was having an ok moment, doesn't mean you know this person's life.

doesn't mean that you know what is wrong with this person if there's something wrong.

I know that there are plenty that do park in disabled bays that aren't disabled because

I've seen it happen in terms of I know the person.

and I will I will go and talk to them and I had a conversation

with someone, a customer at work about it because they moaned that someone parked in

the disabled bay and shouldn't have.

And I did turn around (politely) and I said but you don't know what's going on on

the inside.

Just because they look, you know, they look healthy

that they're standing and not in a wheelchair, they've got all their legs and arms and

feet and whatever.

Doesn't mean that they're not disabled.

Doesn't mean that you know they don't have a disability and they're just ok at

that moment.

You could see them when they're ok and 5 minutes later they could be collapsed on the

floor and need their wheelchair again you don't know someones life.

You don't know what happens behind closed doors

You don't know what happens inside their body.

And there is no 'look' to be disabled.

You don't have to be a certain age, you can be new born

you can be 90 years old you can be 25 30.

There is no age, and there's no look and there's no you know obvious signs that someone's

disabled.

Yes, sometimes there is you know an obvious look in terms of a wheelchair bound,

no leg, no arm.

I get that but disabilities aren't always visible.

You know something can be covered, something can be different from you see them

in one minute and two minutes later when you're gone it

is a whole other story.

And I think that people need to understand and open their minds a little bit more and

you know it is not judging by its cover.

theres no look to be disabled.

if someone's got a hearing loss can you see that?

No… you can't!

'I've had it by doctors,' 'you don't look sick.'

'you look fine.'

'you look healthy.'

I went to a restaurant for my sister's birthday was it my sister?

yeah, I think it was my sisters.

And I don't really go to restaurants to eat because of getting places after is isn't

very possible.

And I remember my mum being like 'we will take the wheel chair so that obviously

you can get home after, do you want to go in the wheel chair or do you want to just

have the wheelchair for after?'

And I instantly said I wanted just to go in the wheel chair.

Although I didn't need to be in the wheel chair from before I ate,

because I was having relatively ok day, though I didn't need to be in the wheel

chair, I still felt like if I walked in

and then went out in a wheel chair people would be judging me

and I know I should care and it shouldn't happen

but it does.

And even that angered me because I was like why should I have to feel like this.

Why should I feel like I'm going to get judged by other people.

What frustrates me the most when people, kind of,

know me they'll still judge other people because they can't see anything wrong with

them and it's like you know I have an illness

(that you can't see), does that mean that you don't believe me

when I say I have an illness?!

When I had my feeding tube and people would still be like oh but you look so healthy….

Yes, I decided to stick this tube up my nose, down my throat,

through my stomach into my small bowel

just for fun…..

:|

So I think my message for this video -even though I have just rambled on is just

Please don't judge people by what they look like

because just as people don't know what's going inside your body,

you don't know whats going on inside their body.

You see them for 30 seconds but you don't see what happens 30 minutes

later or even a minute later.

like, please don't judge someone because they look fine,

because there are sooo many illnesses and disabilities that are not visible.

Hence invisible illnesses!

And you then don't see what you're doing to their mental health as well.

It's just, open your mind to the fact that not all illnesses

and disabilities are visible.

There are so many that aren't.

And there's no look to be disabled!

I don't know if this video made any sense because I just rambled.

I didn't actually bother to, kind of script out what I was going to say.

I just thought I'd wing it and whatever comes out my mouth is what is in my heart.

So, yeah!

That is all for this video.

I really hope you enjoyed it, or learnt something

or it opened your mind up a little bit more.

in terms of illnesses and disabilities because we really need to spread the word on invisible

illnesses.

We really need to raise that awareness.

And I'm not just talking for the ones I have,

I'm just talk about invisible illnesses in general.

We need to raise awareness for it So please, whether it's sharing this video,

whether it's talking to people or if you see it happening saying something

to the person.

Having a conversation with someone if you hear them say something.

Whatever it is, please just help raise the awareness.

Spread the word and try and stop the discrimination and this thing in people's head of you have

to look a certain way.

So yeah. be sure to give it a thumbs up.

And if you would like to have any input on this video

or you have any experiences, I'd love to hear them and for people to

be able to read them so that they can see what's happening and

understand a bit more.

Be sure to leave those in the comments below or on any of my social media which is all

in the description box below.

And right up there I'm going to leave the link to my last video

which I think you'll really enjoy.

And right down there, I'm going to leave you a surprise video.

It will a health related video but we'll just be surprised at which one it is.

So click down there if you want to see that.

And until next time, Keep Watching

Being Bullied Storytime - Perseverance and Advice on How to Deal with Bullying - Duration: 8:22.

- This is the story about a young girl

who refuses to go to school.

It is a story about bullying, but also about perseverance,

and the power of one gift.

(gentle music)

For those of you that don't know,

Storytime with Nate is when I tell a story

off the top of my head, which means, I've got no clue

what I'm about to say.

Things can get a little wild up in here

so if that sounds like fun,

don't forget to hit that subscribe button.

Alright, get comfy, 'cause here we go.

The hero of today's story is 13 years old.

Her name is Cactus.

She's a precocious young kid.

She has always loved school.

In fact when she was young she could only go to sleep

if her mom dressed her in her school uniform.

To this day she always wears her outfit to bed

knowing that when she wakes up, she can jump out of bed,

rush out the door, get in the car and say,

Mom, let's go to school.

So this morning,

this morning when Cactus' mom woke up Cactus,

and Cactus looked up her mom and said,

"Mom I'm not going to school, I'm going back to sleep.

"I'm not going to school tomorrow either, or the next day,

"or next week, or ever."

"Ever" Cactus said.

Cactus' mom pleaded with her, pleaded with her

but to no avail.

And so she said "Cactus, I respect what you have to say.

"I respect your choice and will not force you

"to go to school, but please tell me why."

But Cactus refused and just looked out the window,

at the birds chirping.

So Cactus left quietly

and she walked into the kitchen,

picked up the phone and called the Principal

of Cactus' school.

Ring ring ring ring.

"Principal Dodd have you noticed

"something wrong with Cactus?

"Some peculiar behavior perhaps?"

And you could sense in Cactus' mom's voice

anxiety and worry as it cracked and crumbled

under the pressure and worry, of having a child,

possibly in great pain.

Principal Dodd, with a calm voice, said

"Yes, Cactus is no longer reading during lunch.

"She sits in the corner of the playground and cries,

"hands in her knees.

"You see the older kids have been teasing her mercilessly

"about her large over-developed breasts.

"They've been poking at her,

"they've been calling her water balloon."

And after a deep breath, Cactus' mom said,

"Well what have you done about it?"

And Principal Dodd said,

"Boys will be boys.

"Nothing is to be done.

"Nothing can be done."

And that's when Cactus' mom,

who was a gender studies professor at the local college,

bit her lip and said,

"Professor Dodd, what you're doing is incomprehensible.

"In today's day and age we must teach our children

"that it is no longer okay

"to treat each other unequally."

But Principal Dodd just continued his rote statement,

nothing can be done.

And so she slammed down the phone.

And she rocked back and forth in her chair

and finally an idea came to her.

She rushed upstairs, she opened the closet door,

dropped to her knees and searched for a giant shoebox

in the back of her dark closet,

and she pulled that shoebox out.

And then she ran downstairs.

She grabbed the newspaper and, while we can't see,

she wrapped the gift, she wrapped the box

in a beautiful newspaper wrap,

and tied it with a red bow.

And she opened Cactus' door and

without even waking Cactus back up, she said

"Cactus sweetheart I have a gift for you.

"I love you and I have a gift for you."

And Cactus' eyes squeaked open, curious to what the gift is

but not willing to give in to her trickster mom.

And Cactus' mom placed the gift on Cactus' chest and said

"This honey is for you."

And Cactus looked around,

unsure whether to open it or not.

She wanted to open it, there's no question,

her eyes got bigger.

And finally she relented.

She gave in.

What harm can be done after all from opening a gift?

And so she ripped open the newspaper

but then stopped for a minute to read the art section.

Once she was done with the art section she turned,

oh book review, that's interesting.

Five minutes passed.

Finally Cactus was done reading the newspaper

and then opened the shoebox.

And as if, it was magic inside.

Her eyes lit up like light bulbs.

Like rainbows.

Like spotlights.

There was something special in this box.

Yet, on the other hand, if you or I were to look

in this shoebox, we would see nothing.

Nothing but air.

But Cactus saw something else.

And Cactus' mom said, "Yes sweetheart,

"that is your very own baby red robin.

"Put that robin, Cactus, on your shoulder."

And Cactus reached down into the box,

very very gently and tenderly,

picked up this imaginary red bird,

and placed the bird on her shoulder,

at which time Cactus immediately started crying.

Cactus' mom said "Yes sweetheart,

"I know you hear that song.

"That song only you can hear.

"It is a song sung solely for you.

"And will always be sung for you

"as long as you keep your chin up high

"and keep your ears open.

"It is your song."

And as Cactus is just crying

she starts to sit up in bed

and starts to lift her chin up in the air.

And two minutes pass and finally

Cactus jumps up out of bed, stands up and says,

"Mom, I'm gonna be late to class."

20 minutes later she slams the car door,

races to her classroom, opens the door and steps in

and starts to stride to the front of the class

where her desk is.

Bird on her shoulder, ears open to the song of her.

Nothing can phase her.

She sits down and sticks out her chest proud.

Alright that is the end of our story today.

I hope you enjoyed it.

Let me know in the comments below.

Have you been bullied?

Please let's have a conversation about it.

I know I have been bullied mercilessly

when I was younger and I have a lot to say,

and I would love to talk about it with you.

Thank you so much for watching.

I do love you very much and I appreciate you even more

and yeah please do subscribe if you like

this kind of thing.

Storytime every week, every Sunday morning.

Love you

"Earn" before you 'learn' is my Standard by Dennis in Japan (English) - Duration: 7:22.

Alright.

How are you doing?

This is Dennis in Japan.

Recently, I've been seeing a lot on Facebook.

Different post that have the idea in a quote.

Or, perhaps someone makes a post about this idea.

And the elaborate on it.

And the idea that I'm speaking of is basically people saying, "Learn while you Earn."

Now, in my opinion.

I would say 80% maybe 90% of the people have been taking that approach.

Spending maybe $500 up to maybe a $1,000 – to "Learn" (ha, ha, ha).

And guess what?

How long does it take them – to "Earn" back that $500?

Or, that $1,000?

I would say it takes many people about 12 months.

Some people, unfortunately – the majority.

They never earn back that $500 or $1,000.

Okay?

So, to me it's similar to when people sell a fitness program.

Different techniques.

And you're going to pay $500 for the program.

Or, a $1,000 for the programme.

By the time you get all of the up sales.

For that fitness programme.

And, basically.

When I was training in the karate dojo.

To get in really good shape.

The teacher just said, "Chicken – Brown rice – Broccoli."

(ha, ha, ha.)

No candy.

No alcohol.

And believe me.

You get enough exercise in the dojo.

You don't need to spend any more time in the gym.

You get plenty of exercise in the dojo.

But the diet.

And the exercise.

And you put in the hours of training.

Man you're kicking butt.

You're kicking butt there in a few months.

You don't need to spend a lot of money on a special type of program.

In my opinion.

Alright, so as I said in my title.

This is not really a topic I think is worth debating.

I think it's just basically – common sense.

There are a lot of programmes you can participate in.

If you're going to spend $500.

Or, a $1,000.

There are a lot of programs you can participate in where you will "earn" back your $500.

Or, your $1,000.

In 3 or 4 months.

And, you'll learn how to expand your activities in that business during those 2 or 3 months.

But the point is, you have earned back the money you put in.

Now, you're going to learn ways to expand it even further.

But your profits will always be far greater than any out flow of money you spend.

That includes "traffic."

The money you'd be spending on traffic or login ads, right?

So, everybody on my team in Japan.

That put in their, "seed money" for their business.

Have all got it back within 2 to 3 months.

And now.

They're all in profit.

And, I'm teaching them what to do to continue earning that profit.

So, from day one.

They've been on a path where they are able to earn back – quickly – what they put

in.

Without putting in hours and months of "learning" before they "earned" anything back.

So, that's about all I'm going to say on that topic.

Because to go any further it could move into a debate.

Or, a rant. (ha, ha, ha.)

So, my hope is that if you get involved online.

That you will find something.

That allows you earn back what you put in within at least 2 months.

And that anything else you need to learn, just keeps you in profit.

It doesn't take you back into "debt" of any kind.

So, I welcome any comments that people have on that concept.I'm glad to discuss it with

anybody who has a different opinion on it.

But as far as my standard goes.

And the way that my team will develop is.

Everyone on the team.

Will always be in profit – first.

Before they spend anything else on the process of, "learning."

(Okay, I'm going to check with your comments here.)

(If you've never been to one of my Facebook Live streams before, just type a number one

in the Comment section.)

If you "agree" with what I've said here.

And that is, "It's more important to be (earning) before you're (learning) then type

in, "Agree."

If you don't think that's the case, then type in, "Disagree" in the Comment section.

Alright, so it was nice speaking with you today.

Like I said, I'll look at your Comments.

And then I'll give you a reply.

Okay, take care now.

Bye, bye.

Funny Jokes #92 - SLEEPING SOLDIERS - Jokes for kids - Duration: 1:42.

SLEEPING SOLDIERS

By the time the soldier pulled into the little town, every hotel room was taken.

"You've got to have a room somewhere," he pleaded with a proprietor.

"Well, I do have a double room with one occupant, but he's an Air Force guy,"

admitted the manager, "and he might be glad to split the cost.

But to tell you the truth, he snores so loudly that people in adjoining rooms have complained

in the past.

I'm not sure it'd be worth it to you..."

"No problem," the tired army guy assured him, "I'll take it."

The next morning the soldier came down to breakfast table.

"How'd you sleep?" asked the manager.

"Never better!" said the soldier.

The manager was impressed.

"No problem with the other guy snoring all night long?"

"No, I shut him up in no time," explained the soldier.

"How'd you manage that?"

"Well, he was already in bed, snoring away, when I walked into the room, so I gave him

a kiss on the cheek," explained the soldier.

Then, I whispered in his ear, 'Goodnight, beautiful,' and he sat up all night looking

at me."

How To Train For Climbs When You Live Nowhere Near Them - Duration: 6:35.

- Here's a question we get asked a lot at GCN.

How do you train for mountains

when you've got none near you?

- Yeah, it is a very good question

and one that lots of you are gonna be asking

given that you've probably entered sportives

or Gran Fondos with huge mountains in them.

And, in fact, we have too,

we've got the Maratona dles Dolomites coming up.

The good news, there are plenty of ways

to train for mountains if you don't live near any.

(grinding guitar music)

- Firstly then, let's have a think about

the demands that a long climb places on us,

and essentially it's very simple.

A long climb forces you to ride hard

for an extended period of time.

There's often no chance to freewheel,

not much chance to take a break

unless you physically stop at the side of the road.

So, training for long climbs is also quite simple.

You need to find a way of pedalling hard

for a long time without any rest.

- Tip number one, then, is to find a long road

or a circuit with no interruptions,

and by interruptions we mean traffic lights

or junctions or even heavy traffic,

but then it's also things like sharp corners

and steep descents.

Anything really that would mean you have to stop pedalling.

- When I want to train for long climbs

I've got a local 10K circuit that I ride anti-clockwise.

That means that any time I get to a junction

I've at least only got to look in one direction.

Anyone living in a country where you drive

on the right-hand-side though

should therefore choose a clockwise circuit.

My circuit does have some undulations

but the descents are steady and straight enough

that I can still maintain desired power through the pedals.

- One thing I wish I'd done though

is better utilise some of the terrain next to my house,

because local to me there is an abundance

of fire roads and gravel roads like this one

which all link up,

and that's perfect because there's no junctions

and of course there's no traffic as well.

Plus, you've got the extra resistance off-road

which perfectly mimics the kind of resistance and power

that you're gonna have to put out

when you're on a longer climb.

So, it's easy to do 30 minute intervals

or even longer than that.

So, if you've got loads of gravel roads near you,

definitely worth a consideration.

- They're also epic, Dan, aren't they?

- Yeah, black and white, my gravel roads.

- Possibly even better than that though is indoor training.

Where better to replicate the demands of a long climb

where you can't stop pedalling than on an indoor trainer

where there are no interruptions

and nothing to stop you putting the power down.

Then added into that fact is that

you can simulate a gradient.

So, many trainers will have adjustment

to increase the resistance,

and particularly the latest batch of smart trainers

where they will do it automatically

and where, if they are simulating an eight percent gradient,

it really does feel like an eight percent gradient.

Then pair it up with something like Zwift

and you can train on long climbs to your heart's content.

Another option is to give yourself

some extra resistance on the road.

Now, that could be riding around with your brakes on,

although that's not something we particularly recommend,

but it could also be wind.

That's right, a headwind.

Although often incredibly annoying,

they can actually be used to improve your climbing.

So, if you ride into one for half an hour

you're gonna be putting out some big watts

at pretty low speed, just like climbing.

- There is though a modern alternative

to holding your brakes on, and it's called an AIRhub,

a device we've actually seen a number of pros

using over the last couple of years in training.

It's a front hub which allows you to choose

how much extra resistance it gives you,

say, for example, an extra 200 watts,

and so that allows you to put loads of power

through your pedals without picking up much speed,

safely enabling you to train for long climbs

on flat road.

Now, for a lot of you,

it's gonna take all of the fun out of cycling

but if you're really serious about training

for mountains on flat road

it's certainly a viable option,

although you could just use wind still.

- So, once you've found a way of putting

power through the pedals for extended periods of time,

what sort of training should you actually be doing?

Well, wait for it, sweet spot, that's right.

Technically, sweet spot is defined

as being that zone between 83 and 97 percent

of your functional threshold power.

So, to put it into context, if your FTP is 250 watts

then you should be holding somewhere between

about 204 to 240 watts.

- Yeah, this really is the perfect intensity

because it allows you to do extended blocks

of maybe half an hour, an hour, or maybe even more,

but also do those blocks on back to back days,

because it's not as fatiguing as training

at or above your FTP.

But it's still a very potent form of training

which should push your FTP up.

- Yep, and that is exactly what you want

from your climbing training.

If you put your FTP up and you keep your weight the same,

you will climb faster.

That is pretty much science.

And then, of course, the fact that most of the riding

you'll be doing on your climbs

will probably be about sweet spot intensity,

it's actually a really specific way of training as well.

- So, those are our tips for training for long climbs

when you've got none near you,

but we would love to hear if you've got any

tried and tested methods of doing exactly the same thing.

Leave them in the comments section down below

for us and for others to read.

- Yep, then your next thing you should do

is make sure you subscribe to GCN.

To do it, just click on the globe, it is completely free.

And then some more videos too that may well help you

on your quest to climb long climbs.

Firstly is finding out how much difference

body weight makes to your climbing speed,

that one's just up there, and then, if you need to,

how to lose weight through cycling,

that one is just down there.

HOUSE OF WHEELCHAIRS: Abandoned Mansion (Nursing Home) - Urbex Lost Places - Duration: 11:18.

Nine days of nonstop urban exploration are behind us.

In February we went on our biggest urbex trip yet.

We drove 2.700 km to explore 16 abandoned places in four countries.

We entered military prohibited zones, …

…went underground, …

…and got in trouble with the law.

Several times.

In the next weeks and months we will share our experiences with you.

On YouTube, Facebook and Instagram you can follow us…

…on our most epic urbex adventure yet.

We made the first stop as part of our road trip in Middle Germany.

Here's an object which is famous and popular in the urbex community.

It's called "House of Wheelchairs".

Or...

"Henriettes Erbe".

Of course we weren't able to avoid doing an exploration here by ourselves.

…although this place has seen better days.

An old mansion which was used as a retirement home later…

It's obvious why this object is highly coveted among adventurers and photographers.

We would have liked to spend more time here too but there was only one hour left until sunset.

That's some kind of a special tub.

Yes, it's a tub.

And over here you can get out of it.

It isn't possible any more but you can see the hinge.

I see!

And before you got out the water was pumped down?

Nope, it will leave the tub as a waterfall when you get out of it.

That would suck.

Film the inside.

You can sit inside of this tub.

Yes, right on this cigarette end.

And you can pee too! Over here is the drain.

Well, great. That's enough.

What's over here?

There are downy feathers everywhere.

How could that happen?

Someone probably ripped a bed open.

Take a look!

Dude, film my feet.

It's ridiculously silent.

We're like ninjas.

No!

And what's over here?

What do you think is inside of it, Marco? What could it be?

Dunno. Tell me. - Looks like oatmeal gruel.

It's a pretty cool breakfast bowl. You can take your hands right here and…

Bon appétit!

Enjoy your meal.

Well, of course you have to clean it first.

"Only store pharmaceuticals in here"

And what's inside of it? – Beer.

Beer…

Important rule: You should never open a fridge in an abandoned place.

Mostly they're full of mould. – For real?

Yes!

But this one looks just fine.

Could be worse.

Over here is a fish tank.

You can still see some plants.

Urbex rule #18:

Not everything that looks like blood has to be blood.

Sometimes it's just… - "…beetroot juice".

In 1801 the construction of this two-floor classicistic mansion had started.

The building was finished four years later.

A big park was part of the mansion too as you can see in this lithography from the 19th century.

When the last member of the property owner family died the mansion changed hands and was owned by a baron from now on.

It seems like the building wasn't pompous enough yet in his eyes.

The baron extended the mansion and built a side wing.

At the end of World War Two the family was dispossessed property.

From this time on the place was used as residential care home for the elderly.

A remnant of this time is the lift that was built as a continuation to the building.

Shit, dude! Sweet.

We can go up and up.

It's obvious that…

…a lot of the objects in this place are staged.

Yes, of course.

Many photographers visited this mansion.

What's this for a paper?

"Freiheit" (Freedom)

This article is about gender equality. It's still an important topic today.

It's from 1979.

Apparently there were cats here too.

In the attic there are numerous objects waiting to be put in place for a scene by zealous photographers.

It happened in this way or in a similar way already for many times.

While comparing different pictures of this mansion you can see that the positions of wheelchairs and beds are changing a lot.

…even between several floors.

Because of a vast number of visits vandalism is increasing.

Here are pictures of Berlin. Obviously.

Here is the Gewandhaus in Leipzig.

Dunno. – Some countryside.

Do you recognize this town?

I don't.

A fancy castle.

Yes…

This guy had a cozy room.

An order sheet! How cool.

And what did they order?

… sliced bread, toast, buns, milk rolls, white bread, currant bread, ...

And yeast!

Take a look at the weight. How much gram?

Not that much. Oh well, he ordered twelve kilogram of sliced bread.

… and 45 gram of milk rolls.

For seven cents!

How old is that?

"13 diabetics"

"Two staffers"

"Date: 19th June 1989"

It's unknown when the mansion became abandoned.

Word is that the facility was closed by the authorities after a patient in a wheelchair fell down the stairs and died.

While we're at it…

Another curious legend has grown up around this place.

Around 1960 a treasure was found during works on water pipes in the basement.

A part of the wall collapsed and uncovered a room.

In this room were the baron's silver plates.

An enclosed newspaper suggested that the family of the baron stashed their belongings when they were dispossessed in January 1945.

When the state security service heard about this incident they assumed the salvage work.

The treasure was supposed to be delivered to a nearby museum.

However, no delivery has arrived this place.

After one and a half hours of exploration we left this place under cover of darkness.

We started to our next destination in the Harzer.

We head for an abandoned school of physiotherapy.

…but more on that in the next episode.
