Following the election of Donald Trump, the narrative of an epidemic of "fake news"

quickly emerged.

It's not hard to see why.

The media in its entirety absolutely despised Donald Trump – and he still won.

How could they explain away his victory aside from competition from media that couldn't

possibly be as reliable as them?

In reality, people simply woke up to the B.S. that the media was spinning.

If you want proof that "fake news" for those in the liberal media is synonymous with

nothing more than "conservative news," (unlike "CNN" for the rest of us).

Just take a look at who the "experts" consider fake news.

As Right Wing News reported:

Harvard University, a.k.a. snowflake central has just established a research guide on fake

news.

It just so happens that all of those identified on their fake news guide happen to dozens

upon dozens of respectable conservative websites…and they are being described as "unreliable"

or "fake".

The Daily Caller, for instance, is labeled as being "political," "clickbait,"

and having "bias," whereas The Daily Kos is labeled as "political" "clickbait,"

yet is considered "credible."

Several other influential conservative outlets are included on the list of potentially fake

or discredited sources, such as Independent Journal Review, Newsmax, Conservative Review,

and The Washington Free Beacon, though none of their liberal counterparts, like Vox, Slate,

or Buzzfeed, are on the list.

In fact, the word "conservative" appears 19 times on the list while the term "liberal"

appears only 4 times.

Even if you consider the sites above to be sensationalist (and Newsmax, Conservative

Review, and the Free Beacon seldom are), that hardly makes them "false."

Maybe "disagreeable" is the word they were looking for.

In today's politically correct world, it sometimes feels like talking with others is

like walking through a minefield.

Particularly if you're white or conservative, and especially if you're both.

Our modern day culture is dishing out the guilt trips like they're apple pie, and

Americans, in general, have decided to accept them as if they're just a part of life.

So who gets to decide what is a valid issue to feel guilty about?

And who gets to call a foul when someone tries to push it too far?

Up until recently, most conservatives haven't had the heart to push the issue since some

of what the injured parties had to say was based on truth.

No sense in throwing the baby out with the bathwater, as they say.

However, things have officially gone too far when an entitled college kid named Leandra

Vargas, a student at one of the best liberal arts schools in the country, demands that

her "white allies" pay for her spring break.

How could she possibly justify doing that, you may (and should) ask?

Apparently Vargas believes that she is literally owed the money because of her ancestors hard

work . . . Now while I don't personally know Vargas, her surname would lead one to

believe that she is of Latino decent.

I guess getting over that wall is considered really hard work these days.

It looks as if Pitzer University is really putting the liberal in liberal arts.

Here's what Leandra Vargas had the audacity to ask her fellow students(but only the white

ones, mind you).

"We are hoping ppl are willing to support us in our ventures out to queer [as f***]

oakland & some national parks to find some spaceeee to breatheee," said Pitzer University

student Leandra Vargas, who identifies with they/them pronouns, in an email obtained by

The Daily Caller News Foundation.

"Everything that [white allies] are/have [right now] is due to the genocide and enslavement

of our ppl,"

"Calling on white allies especially 4 ur support," wrote Vargas.

"Remember that everything that u are/have [right now] is due to the genocide and enslavement

of our ppl…yet all im asking 4 is a bit of cash to get us thru the week.

thxx❤"

I would try and qualify that I didn't make this up, but honestly, I don't think I'm

smart enough to have made up something that authentically deluded.

They say that the truth is stranger than fiction, and that is being proved here today.

In case you require any extra proof, here's the original email, in all it's grammatically

flawed glory.

Unfortunately for "Leandra + the dream" some people still have enough sense to spot

"crazy" when they see it because Leandra's campaign ended up being as big of a waste

of time as her college career obviously is.

Better luck next time chica, maybe next year's crop of freshmen will have a little less sense

and a little more white guilt for you can prey on.

President Trump's administration just pulled the plug on 46 appointees under Barack Obama

at once, draining the filthy cesspool of the political swamp in one fail swoop.

In all of the campaign promises he's kept yet, this one is the biggest to be made in

a single move, and as expected, isn't sitting well with the Trump-hating left.

The turnover of 93 U.S. attorneys routinely takes place at the beginning over every new

presidential administration, which had already begun, but 46 still remained, all of whom

were left over from Barack Obama's administration.

Trump didn't want or need them around and his Attorney General, Jeff Sessions, just

made a formal demand today calling for their resignation — effective immediately.

"Sessions asked for the federal prosecutors to resign 'in order to ensure a uniform

transition'," DOJ spokeswoman Sarah Isgur Flores said, according to The Hill.

"As was the case in prior transitions, many of the United States Attorneys nominated by

the previous administration already have left the Department of Justice," Flores added

in her statement.

Showing that he's serious about his call for their resignations, he has already made

preparations for the interim to tie up their loose ends so they can't use it stay around

longer.

The DOJ said Sessions' career prosecutors are already in place to "continue investigations

and prosecutions until the new U.S. attorneys are confirmed," the report stated.

Trump's administration is working diligently to eliminate anyone who will stand in the

way of a conservative come back, by overturning everything that Obama did while he was president.

A while back a fourteen year old girl from Rockville High School was raped.

When ICE enforcement officials did a raid on illegal immigrants they found and detained

the father of one of the boys who raped the girl.

They were all here illegally.

The father's name is Adolfo Sanchez Reyes.

He is forty three years old and a Guatemala native who's now being held in the Howard

County Detention Center.

Their will be a future hearing for him on his illegal immigration charges.

Ever since the Trump administration came into power ICE has been cracking down on sanctuary

cities full of illegal immigrants.

Under the former administration over 300,000 Central American illegal migrants roamed the

streets.

But no more.

Sanchez's son is eighteen years old and his name is Henry E. Sanchez-Milian.

The allegations against his son are that he orally, anally, and vaginally raped a freshman

girl in the stall of one of the boys bathrooms.

The son was also placed into the hands of ICE agents.

The attorney for the son and father stated the following to reporters,

"He was stopped at the border and detained by ICE.

He was detained for 12 days, but then ICE made the discretionary decision to simply

let him go.

They put him on a plane in Texas and his father had to pay for the ticket.

His father picked him up at BWI Airport and he's been in this country with the full

awareness of ICE."

Despite having a pending case against him he is still allowed to attend public school.

Which is funded by American taxpayers.

A policy expert from the Center for Immigration Studies told Breitbart the following about

illegals from Central America,

"Eighty percent of the tens of thousands of Central American kids who were caught by

the Border Patrol and released by [the Department of Health and Human Services] have been released

to other illegal aliens.

Not surprisingly, few bother to show up for or complete their immigration court proceedings

and have joined the larger illegal alien population."

If immigration had been taken seriously before then this girl never would have been violated.

While returning her attacker to his country would be justice she deserves to see her attacker

rot in prison.

The security breaches in Washington, D.C. continue and have now stepped up a notch to

shots being fired down the street from the White House, outside the U.S. Capitol.

Now, police have a suspect in custody after this extremely close call.

According to ABC News, "Police responded to the area at Washington Ave and Independence

Ave, which is located near the U.S. Botanic Garden and the Rayburn House office building,"

after a man drove his car into a U.S. Capitol Policeman's cruiser.

The FBI is now on the scene and they have a man in custody after officers were forced

to shoot at his car.

This attack comes almost exactly 24 hours after the White House went on lockdown yesterday

due to the discovery of a "suspicious package" on the grounds, which turned out to be a box.

While it was found to not be an explosive, it could have been a trial run and needs to

be taken seriously.

This is a developing story and we are awaiting the driver's photo and more details on this

suspect.

While we tend to gravitate towards dinosaurs when discussing the natural prehistory of

our world, we shouldn't overlook a creature just because it's… well…odd looking.

In this Archive, we're jumping in a wormhole, back to the age of giants to find the ten

creepiest prehistoric creatures.

Platybelodon We once dubbed elephants among the cutest,

yet most dangerous animals.

We may be looking to retroactively remove it based on its prehistoric ancestor, the

Platybelodon.

During the Miocene Epoch, the lands of Asia were once inhabited by this strange looking

Proboscidea.

What warrants a spot on this list of creepy-looking prehistoric beasts, you ask?

There's just something about its odd-shaped mouth that we don't like.

The shovel-like shape, the two flattened modified incisors protruding from the lower jaw…

it's weird, very uncanny, and more than what we're comfortable with.

Arandaspis Like drifting pebbles in the sea, the Arandaspis

Prionotolepis are slightly unappealing to the eyes.

This early to mid-Ordovician sea critter, which grew to about 6-inches or roughly 15-centimeters,

was mostly featureless, with tiny eyes, nostrils, a jawless mouth, and gills peering creepily

out from under a pair of hard plates.

A lack of fins and flattened tail gave the appearance of a common tadpole, but the eyes

and mouth make it look very alien.

What Arandaspis fed on is unknown, though its downward-turned mouth suggests it was

a bottom feeder.

Aegirocassis During the early Ordovician era, the sea was

filled with strange looking beasts.

Among them was the Aegirocassis, an anomalocarid arthropod that sported a very distinct look

and could grow up to 6 1/2 feet or roughly 2 meters.

Its most standout feature makes up what would be its lower jaw and is a series of spines

connected by a thin mesh that served as a filter for smaller organisms.

The Aegirocassis was not an active predator, though its size and unusual appearance would

likely be jarring at first sight.

Giant Fleas The concept of creepy crawly fleas is enough

to make your skin itch, but imagine living some 65 to 140 million years ago, when our

tiny nuisance, now about .1 inch or 3 millimeters in size, was upwards of almost 1-inch or 25

millimeters long.

While that may not sound large in the grand scheme, consider an infestation of fleas longer

than a quarter's diameter, feeding off of your personal blood supply.

Living during the Cretaceous Period, these giant fleas, which were discovered via fossils

found in China in 2012, feasted on dinosaurs and though they share similarities to the

modern flea, they lacked the springing jump ability and were equipped with an armored,

jagged protrusion for feeding rather than a smooth-edged jaw.

Anomalocaris Everything about the Anomalocaris' body

looks to be pretty normal for an early relative of the arthropod, but things go incredibly

wrong when you get to its head.

The flat body gives way to a set of creepy-looking, 7-inch or roughly 18-centimeter long prongs,

appendages that resemble the tail of a shrimp.

With these limbs, the Anomalocaris would hold its prey in place while its squared set of

sharpened teeth would chomp away.

At its longest, the odd-looking anomalocaridid averaged around 3-feet or about 1-meter long,

but specimens from China, found in early to mid-Cambrian rock, were found to have reached

twice that length.

Attercopus Some 358 to 416 million years ago, during

the Devonian Period, lived what scientists are calling a proto-spider.

As if the eight-legged critters weren't bad enough as is, this prehistoric spider-like

animal sports an entirely new feature that adds to the mystique, wonder and creepiness

– a 1 millimeter long tail-like flagella that serves no recorded purpose.

Instead of spinning webs like our modern-day arachnids, the Attercopus would drag glands

on the underside of its abdomen across a surface to produce silk-strand, which were believed

to be used to wrap eggs or construct burrow walls.

Meganeuropsis Permiana With a wingspan of up to 28 inches or roughly

71 centimeters, the Meganeuropsis Permiana, a member of the Meganisoptera order, is among

the largest insect species to date.

The early Permian griffinfly was indigenous to North America and grew up to 17 inches

or about 43 centimeters, dwarfing the common dragonfly of today, which only grows to about

4 inches or about 10 centimeters.

As if its relatively larger size wasn't bad enough, the Meganeuropsis was also a carnivore,

though its diet consisted mostly of members of the insect family.

Opabinia Like the Anomalocaris, the Opabinia was an

early form of the arthropod, equipped with a strange facial feature.

Originally thought similar in appearance to crustaceans, the Opabinia actually differed

in the most important feature – it lacked a hard outer shell.

The soft-bodied bottom dweller, believed to have existed during the mid-Cambrian period

in British Columbia, served as a stepping stone to modern arthropods, sported a 1-inch

or 2 1/2 centimeter proboscis used to sift through the seabed for food, and typically

grew to only 3 inches or 7.6 centimeters long.

Hallucigenia As the name implies, the Hallucigenia makes

you feel like you're hallucinating just by looking at it.

This Cambrian lobopodian worm is believed to either be an ancestor of the velvet worm

or an early form of the common arthropod.

The alien-like tubular life form grows up to 1.4 inches or about 3.5 centimeters and

sports up to eight pairs of thin legs and claws.

This unusual creature was first mentioned in 1911 Charles Doolittle Walcott and is described

as having an elongated head, tentacles used either for feeding or walking assistance,

and spines along its back for protection.

A long neck and long legs were incredibly useful for this far more predatory creature

- For anybody new to cycling, one of the

strangest sensations is leaning the bike while cornering.

But you can't corner at speed without it.

It's hardly surprising that leaning

doesn't feel comfortable.

Looking at road bike tyres with an untrained eye

is hardly confidence inspiring.

I mean, look at how narrow they are.

How can you trust that?

Well, you can.

Road tyres are much, much grippier than you think.

Yes, you need to be a bit careful in the rain

and on gravel, but on good quality tarmac,

you can really lean over.

Now I'm not saying that you have to go too far

and too fast, but it's good to know that you can.

- There's one thing that you should know about

leaning your bike over when cornering

and that is that at a certain angle,

an angle that might not feel particularly extreme,

you will hit your inside pedal on the floor

if it's facing downwards in the 6 o'clock position.

So, don't pedal through fast or tight corners.

And better than that, drop your outside pedal

to the 6 o'clock position and put your weight through there.

It makes the pedal as far out of harm's way as possible

and it actually helps to give your tyres even more grip,

making you more secure on the road.

- So, if you can get those three techniques down,

it will make a massive difference to your ability

and your confidence.

- I remember the first time I jumped in

I was scared to death.

You know that it has the power to mangle you

in a second.

But it chooses not to, and that fascinates me.

My name is Andreas B. Heide.

I'm a sailor, adventurer,

and a marine biologist from Norway.

This is my third season in northern Norway

where I spent the winter with my boat Barba.

It's harsh and it's also tremendously beautiful.

There is no sign of people.

To me it's nature at its very best.

Our goal for this season is to

make a documentary about orcas and whales in the wild.

What makes interaction with orcas so special

is that you know that it's the apex predator of the sea,

this has a tremendous power.

Often we have to observe them from distance,

and at some points they are relaxed

and you can approach them,

and that's when you get them playful.

They're so gentle, yet so fast,

and they're so powerful yet so very calm and peaceful.

To me, these whales and the era they're in,

they're kind of the pinnacle of interacting with nature.

Once you've made eye contact with an orca

there is no turning back.

It's a moment you never forget.

I think it's like a tattoo.

This is Natasha.

Like every other girl growing up, I over-waxed my eyebrows.

And they never grew back.

Now I want full eyebrows all the time and it's very difficult to make them look perfect

so, that's why I'm doing it.

So the biggest trend in eyebrows is microblading.

This is Tonelle.

She's an expert microblade technician.

We deposit pigment under the skin using a blade.

The blade's made up of 12 needles.

We just go into the brow, do a little hair incision, place pigment on top of that.

And once we wipe that away, it looks like natural hair.

So microblading gives many advantages.

It gives everybody an opportunity to wake up with natural, full brows instead of having

to maintain them everyday.

That's really beautiful.

Yeah, I think you're right.

Capturing some of the black.

First, the brows are brushed

upwards and out.

Stray hairs are plucked.

Then, they are trimmed.

The ideal shape is drawn onto the skin.

And now it's time for the cut.

When people come in typically for a consultation, the number one question is, "Does it hurt?"

It might hurt.

I'm a little nervous about the pain but not too much.

I've had several tattoos and if I can handle that, I can handle this.

Very true.

Oh wow, that sounds awful.

Um...

It's tolerable.

The blades make the tiniest incisions

that are filled with dye.

It looks so natural.

Okay whenever you're ready to take a look, I'm ready.

Oh they look so good!

I felt some dripping down.

I was like, "Oh! Okay."

"Definitely feels like blood!"

They look so good.

It's been two months now.

I just got them touched up and I'm totally happy with how they came out.

It was as painful as it looked but it was very brief so I felt like I could push through.

It was definitely worth a little bit of pain for a good payoff.

I have perfect brows everyday.

If you're like most landowners then you probably haven't seen a wind farm land lease before

and chances are you aren't familiar with how the leasing process goes.

So here I am, and I am going to explain the wind farm land leasing process to you in just

five steps.

First, our site acquisition team will be in touch with you to express our interest in

leasing your land.

We'll answer all your questions and cover all your concerns.

Second, when you're interested in leasing your land and have a general understanding

of our lease, we'll send out a lease packet to your mailing address for you to review.

You can expect about a 20 page document delivered to your mailbox, along with an FAQ answer

sheet to help assist you with general questions.

For more assistance, we've uploaded many explainer videos on our website and have a specified

FAQ section on our page only for landowners.

Third, If and when you decide to sign our wind farm land lease, you'll need to make

can you see having that kind of emotional connection?

- That's something we discussed, the city,

there is so much that compels you here.

- Where would you put your worry index right about now?

- Charlotte worries all the time.

- Right.

- I think it's part of the reason I married you

actually, is because Robert never worries.

So, it's sort of balances out.

- [Robert] Charlotte has her 401K, I have SEP IRA.

We have some other money, but you start spending money,

you spend very quickly.

- [Emily] Right, well one of the things I try to do

as a cartoonist is kind of bring some clarity

to situations like this, because if you can't

see the details clearly, we think it's hard to make

jokes about it.

So, the cartoon that I came up with for you guys

sort of touches on the pros and cons

of the things that you're weighing.
