Never Have I Ever with Pretty Little Liars - Duration: 2:54.

[music playing]

[dramatic music]

We didn't know you were 12.

Do you want a job still?

OK.

Never have I ever hooked up with someone on set.

Wait, what do you mean?

What do you mean, the scene.

Well, there's two ways you could do that, right?

Yeah.

In a scene.

On set?

It's a part A part B. Part A in a scene.

Obviously.

Oh, yeah.

Part B, not in a scene.

Yeah, OK.

On set?

All the paddles flipped.

OK.

If those walls could talk over there.

OK.

Never have I ever made one of my assistants cry.

The assistants are probably some of the people sitting over

there.

Oh, (bleep) yeah!

I mean, yeah, I mean, in a good way.

But a good cry.

Everybody needs a good cry.

I like your honesty.

Oh yeah, there's two ways you can get someone to cry, right?

Yes.

In a good way, cries of happiness.

Yeah, right?

You made her cry with tears of sheer joy?

Yes.

Was it sheer joy?

Is the assistant here.

She's here.

It was not sheer joy.

Do you want a job still?

OK.

She's actually crying again.

I'll just make that note.

Next question-- never have I ever

had a crush on a fellow cast member.

OK How many of these cast members are the same person?

We have the same crush on one of the--

Yeah.

I think was ours maybe the same at one point?

Can we say who it was?

Ours was Nolan.

Yeah, Troian's dad.

Troian's dad.

Was obsessed with my dad.

Obsessed, obsessed.

I'm not going to say mine.

Leave it for the people on YouTube to try

and figure it out.

Will you give us initials?

Whispers.

That work?

Oh, whatever, it was Ian.

There we go.

Ian Harding season one.

This is the good stuff.

Whatever, I was 20.

20.

So.

Fun crush.

Here's a good one.

Never have I ever lied about my age.

Do you want to go a little farther and tell us why?

No, just to get into clubs.

How about you lied to all of us at the beginning of the show?

I didn't lie to anyone.

No.

I promise I never would have found out.

We didn't know you were 12.

I didn't say anything.

You didn't ask.

You didn't ask the right question.

Technically, it wasn't a lie if she didn't tell you

something that wasn't true.

I'm pretty sure I asked somebody and I heard 14.

OK, never have I ever had to cover up a hickey.

Was it for work?

Or was it to not have a parent know?

Both, actually.

Yeah.

No one ever found out?

I've got very sensitive skin, so.

Never have I ever lied while playing this game.

See a bunch of pretty little honest people.

Honest.

That's how you play never have I ever with the cast of Pretty

Little Liars.

Thank you, ladies, so much for spending the time--

Thank you.

Thank you.

--to be here today.

Thank you.

Thanks, YouTube.

Bye, guys.

Thank you, internets.

Printing with Pantone | A Minute Smarter - 016 - Duration: 1:48.

Printing with Pantone.

Coming up next on A Minute Smarter.

As I mentioned in the previous episode most printing

today is done using the CMYK printing process.

But the color spectrum using CMYK is limited, so occasionally, when more vibrant color or

perfect color matching is required, pantone colors are used.

Pantone, also known as PMS, is a standardized color matching system, which allows perfect

color matching across the printing industry.

What's the difference between Pantone and CMYK?

Pantone inks are premixed using 11 colors, verses the four colors layered in dots in CMYK

process printing.

That's what allows for the more vibrant and seemingly endless color choices of pantone.

These Pantone color swatch books are handy designer tools when searching for that perfect color.

However, it's important to confirm your printer can print using pantone color before

you begin your design.

If not, it's not a disaster.

Pantone colors can be converted to CMYK process, but not all colors convert well.

Bright oranges, bright blues, and lighter hues of green are difficult to match when

converting from pantone color to CMYK.

And now, you're a minute smarter.

Do you ever feel like a crappy parent? - Duration: 3:45.

Hi, I'm Dr. Mary Barbara, autism mom, Board Certified Behavior Analyst and

Best-Selling author. I became a BCBA in 2003 as my two sons were entering

early elementary school. Until then I was pretty much just winging it as a parent...

As you probably know if you've been listening to my video blogs for a few

months, my oldest son Lucas has moderate to

severe autism so I started learning about ABA when he was diagnosed in 1999.

So I was using some ABA principles starting back then when my kids were

toddlers preschoolers but I realized back then that I never

learned how to be a great parent and that very few people ever learned this.

Even Behavior Analysts who know how to teach kids with autism often don't know

how to deal with typical tantrums, sleep issues, picky

eating and a host of other parenting dilemmas. Lucas, for example didn't sleep

in his own bed consistently through the night until he was 10 years old (and this

was 3 or 4 years after I became a BCBA) and both my kids were very picky

eaters, especially early on so I know firsthand how difficult it is to apply

proven behavioral strategies to be a great parent to kids with and without

autism. In the next few video blogs I'm going to tell you about a few books that

I've read since Lucas's diagnosis that have helped me become a better BCBA, a

better parent and a better person overall. This week I'm going to tell you

about a book by dr. Glen Lapham called Positive Parenting. I saw dr. Lapham

present for one hour in the year 2000 and his lecture completely changed my

perspective on parenting. It was originally, the book was originally

written in 1990 and is filled with practical advice for parents

for use with toddlers through teens. Dr. Latham was not a behavior analyst but he

did have a PhD in special education and spoke at this conference in New York

that I attended because one of his grandchildren had autism and his book

was found to be helpful for both parents of children with and without special

needs. In his book Dr. Lapham talks a lot about the need for positive

reinforcement when raising toddlers through teens and explains ABA

principles in an easy-to-understand way. He also stresses the need to avoid

coercion (which is punishment or the threat of punishment) because if you

force kids to do things because you say they should and you're bigger than they

are this won't work as they get older and

bigger. I've literally purchased this book for baby shower gifts and even

though positive parenting was written a few decades ago, it's still the number

one parenting book that I recommend. Next week I'll discuss another book by Dr.

Lapham that can help teachers. And next week's book can be downloaded for free

so stay tuned. If you're watching this video anywhere other than MaryBarbera.com

I would encourage you to hop on over there, leave me a comment and I'll

see you next week.

How to Use Beta Alanine for Bodybuilding: 2 Fixes You NEED - Duration: 7:26.

if you're using beta alanine like most people you're probably missing out on

your full potential. I'll show you how to fix that, along with two quick tips for

how to use beta alanine for bodybuilding based on two incredible experiences I

had in the Editor-in-Chief's office when I worked for Muscle & Fitness. At the end we'll

tie it all together I'll show you exactly how I do it with my clients and athletes

Let's get to it. I'm David Barr and if you're looking to get bigger faster

stronger, get leaner, go longer, hit that subscribe button below to make sure you

don't miss anything. The first lesson from the editor-in-chief's

office, at the time it was Dr. Chris Lockwood, and he revealed to me that as

part of his doctoral research he'd done some early work on beta alanine -which is

perfect- he told me before it was published that beta alanine could

actually increase muscle growth with high-intensity interval training. This

blew my mind, this was not even conceivable to me, but it started me down

the path of thinking about energy systems and needs analysis, and this is a

lesson we can get from strength and conditioning coaches and just in general

the field of strength and conditioning. I think we can apply it and fix beta

alanine. So a needs analysis, what is this? Well, before you develop a program

for an athlete you have to look at their sport and what they're trying to

accomplish. So you look at the type of movements, the speed, the energy systems,

or the metabolic pathways involved, then you tailor their program, short and

long-term, based on that needs analysis. And this is where beta alanine comes in

because beta alanine works through metabolic energy systems, right now we're

not doing that as bodybuilders we're typically just taking beta alanine

expecting it to work for us. We need to figure out how beta alanine works and

then tailor our programming around that. That's applying the needs analysis and

that's really going to help us get results from beta alanine because right

now the results aren't great for fellow meatheads and you've probably

experienced this yourself, so this is one way to tweak it. So here's the fix train

high-intensity higher volume with higher reps and shorter rest periods, that's

really going to stress the energy systems and that's where beta alanine is going to

excel. Now this doesn't mean you have to train that way all the time but

occasionally when you do train that way that's where beta alanine is going to

excel you're going to feel it it's going to feel definitely different you're

going to get the results based on that type of training. Now here's a

bonus tip for strength of power athletes, you can actually use beta alanine as

well even if you're doing lower reps and longer rest periods, and the reason is if

the hydrogen ions or protons are going to cause more of a slow twitch slower

fiber conversion, then if you can mop up as much of those with beta alanine as

possible then you can potentially mitigate, or even eliminate that

transition, however minor it may be. So beta alanine is wide open for anybody

but if your bodybuilding, looking for muscle growth, then that's where you have

to reach into those higher reps shorter rest periods. So what does that training

look like? Well it means your sets should be around 12 reps each tack on a couple

extra sets, but remember you have to push yourself because the beta alanine is

going to allow you to do that to be able to push yourself harder, if you don't

take advantage of that then you're not going to get the added benefit, you're

not going to get the results that you're after.

So keep the rest periods short try for you know a minute to two minutes but

keep the volume high, keep the intensity high and really push the limits of what

beta alanine can do for you and that's where you're going to get those results.

The next lesson from the chief he was talking about amino acid stacking and

this is related to beta alanine and really to sum up the idea of competitive

amino acid transport he summed it up beautifully: "they don't like each other"

and what it means is that two different amino acids can use the same transporter

it's like they're fighting for the same parking spot so they don't like each

other you don't want to combine them in the same drink. This is related to beta

alanine because you don't want to stack BA with taurine. They fight for the same

parking spot that same transporter so just think they don't like each other.

Unfortunately there are way too many products that combine these two already,

so you're definitely shooting yourself in the foot by consuming those within a

few hours of each other. So if you're taking your taurine separate from your

beta alanine not a bad idea at all that's something I do but you don't want

to consume them in the same drink why because they don't like each other. Now

real quick, what do you stack beta alanine with? Do you use it with taurine? Do you use

it with creatine? Just let me know in the comments below. Here's

your bonus tip: we've covered what you don't want to stack beta-alanine with

again that's the taurine but what do you want to stack the beta-alanine with? Well,

probably the simplest type of supplementation you can do is throwing

sodium chloride, regular table salt, into your drink with your beta alanine. Why

because rather than fighting for the same parking spot, the sodium and the

chloride are going to help facilitate the beta alanine getting into your

muscle getting it where you want it to go, so rather than not liking each other

like the taurine in the beta alanine, the sodium and the chloride they love beta

alanine. So it's super simple, super cheap, a quick tip for you fire that one

up. So in summary how do I use this stuff and I have to preface by saying even

though I'm a dual certified sports nutritionist these are not

recommendations or prescriptions this is just what I do. So quite simply if I'm

loading just starting off beta alanine, they'll do eight grams a day -two times

four gram doses, divided twice a day, and I'll do that for eight weeks. I will then

maintain at four grams a day every day, if you skip a day if you're skipping

your beta alanine supplementation on off days it's not a big deal but 4 grams a

day will do it. You throw in your little sodium chloride, pretty simple tip

and make sure your training is going to be that high volume higher intensity, but

shorter rest periods and higher reps okay you really want push those energy

systems, some people like to use it before workouts right now there doesn't

seem to be a huge difference so it doesn't matter if it's morning

pre-workout post-workout right now and I'll keep you apprised to keep you

updated if that changes, but that's how we do it and that's beta alanine. Here's

our three point checklist that you can use to see if you want to add beta

alanine to your supplement regimen. Check number one, can you find banned

substances and purity testing on beta alanine? Yeah you sure can, this is

especially important for athletes. Check number two, it's going to be how long has

this stuff been around, because most supplements are flash-in-the-pan or

around for one to two years and then they're gone, that's why we've got

thousands of ingredients come and go, so how long has this stuff been around? Well

I can tell you beta alanine has been around since about 2005 and there's a

story behind why I know that, and I'll share that in another video, but

it's been around long enough has a decent track record. Now number three is

probably the most important that's going to be proof or more specifically proof

on PubMed. Is there evidence of efficacy that is supported by the published

peer-reviewed published scientific literature and most ingredients the

answer is no, the answer is yes for beta alanine, but don't forget we have to

fix it for what we're after okay. It can be great for athletics but in terms of

let's say body composition, muscle growth, adaptation, and that kind of thing, we need

to tailor our training to that somewhat. So there's a three point checklist

overall it's pretty positive, but now you decide. Hey thanks for watching, if you

liked this video be sure to check out the rest of the channel, and don't forget to

hit that subscribe, don't miss anything. Until next time, Raise The Barr

Save Japan From Climate Change: Hometown Tax Donation - Duration: 3:20.

In major cities around the world

it is all too evident how much we have sacrificed our environment for economic growth

Japan is unfortunately no exception

the advancement and growth of our city centers have been an incredible feat for our country

but has also been a contributor to climate change

and come at the cost of some of our country's natural beauty.

The outskirts of our city centers where beauty and serenity still very much exist

are gradually diminishing as the effects of climate change begin to take a toll on these great cities.

But what if we had the power to begin affecting change?

What if we had the power to preserve the natural beauty in this country?

What if I told you that we do?

Follow me as I explore Daigo city in Ibaraki prefecture

and see how you have the power to make a difference in this amazing city.

In Daigo city life is simple

life is traditional

and most importantly, life is fulfilled by those who appreciate and embrace Daigo City for what it naturally is.

It is a city that does not ask for more

but is now asking for us to do more -

not just for them, but for anyone who loves Japan and all the beauty it has to offer.

If you live and work in Japan you could help Daigo city preserve the natural beauty of its countryside

by allocating your Japanese tax money to the area.

Your money will help the city protect its nature

from the effects of climate change and maintain a life of unfettered beauty and happiness

I WAS LIKE COACH, 6'9" CAN'T

PLAY, CAN'T DUNK.

CAN YOU HELP ME OUT WITH SOME

EXERCISES TO STRENGTHEN MY LOWER

EXTREMITIES.

WHEN I WAS ON PUNISHMENT, MY

FATHER MADE ME READ THE

DICTIONARY.

I'M THINKING BIG WORDS, TALK TO

THE COLLEGE COACH AND MAYBE I

CAN GET IN.

HE PUTS HIS HANDS ON ME, HOW

LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN THE ARMY?

I SAID I'M NOT IN THE ARMY.

I'M 13.

THE THING I LIKE ABOUT DALE

BROWN, HE ALWAYS SENT ME QUOTES,

EXERCISES EVERY WEEK IN GERMANY.

I READ THEM AND THEN I HAD TO

WRITE HIM A PAINFUL LETTER, ALL

THE STUFF YOU SENT ME DIDN'T

WORK.

THANKS FOR THE HELP.

I APPRECIATE YOU.

I'M GOING TO QUIT AND JOIN THE

ARMY LIKE MY DAD.

LOVE YOU.

NEXT LETTER I GET, NO, I DON'T

I'LL GIVE YOU A SCHOLARSHIP.

THAT'S WHEN I WAS 13.

NOBODY KNEW WHO I WAS.

I WAS 13.

HE SAID I'LL GIVE YOU A

SCHOLARSHIP.

PAPERS AND EVERYTHING, FINANCIAL

AID, WE'LL TAKE CARE OF IT.

THAT'S WHY I CHOSE TO GO TO LSU.

HE SAW SOMETHING IN ME THAT I

DIDN'T SEE IN MYSELF.

BY THE TIME I GOT BACK FROM

GERMANY TO SAN ANTONIO, I WAS

THE NUMBER BUN PLAYER IN HIGH

SCHOOL AT THE TIME.

AND I SAID, YOU KNOW WHAT?

I'M GOING TO CHOOSE THIS GUY

BECAUSE HE HELPED ME.

>> AND WHEN YOU WENT TO LSU.

>> HE TOOK CARE OF ME, THE SAME

PRINCIPLES THAT MY PARENTS HAVE,

YOU KNOW, LIKE I HEARD YOU WERE

OUT WITH SOME GUYS DRINKING THE

OTHER DAY.

YOU KNOW BETTER THAN THAT.

YOU KNOW TO BE A LEADER AND NOT

A FOLLOWER.

YES, SIR.

NEXT TIME WE SEE THAT HAPPEN,

YOU NEED TO GET OUT OF THERE.

YOU KNOW YOU DON'T DRINK.

I DON'T WANT YOU AROUND THAT

HALL OF FAME.

>> I EXPECTED IT NOT BECAUSE I

WAS A GREAT PLAYER.

I EXPECTED IT BECAUSE EVERYTHING

MY MOTHER AND FATHER HAVE TAUGHT

ME HAS COME TRUE.

YOU DON'T NEED TO FOLLOW HIM AND

HE'S GETTING $100.

YOU GO TO SCHOOL AND GETTEN AGE

OCCASION, YOU'LL HAVE 100,000.

YOU DON'T NEED TO DO THAT, YOU

NEED TO DO THAT.

EVERYTHING THEY'VE TOLD ME HAS

COME TRUE.

I WISH MY FATHER WAS STILL HERE

SO I COULD SHARE THIS MOMENT

WITH HIM.

THERE WERE SOME TIMES I DIDN'T

BELIEVE IN MYSELF.

I'M GOOD BUT NOT THAT GOOD.

THAT'S MICHAEL JORDAN, HE'S --

I'LL NEVER GET TO THAT LEVEL.

AND THEN YOU GOT TO KEEP GOING.

AND THEN BOOM, MIKE IS GONE.

MY TURN, WENT ON THREE IN A ROW.

SO EVERY TIME I'VE STUCK TO

MY -- I DON'T WANT TO USE THE

WORD GUN.

EVERY TIME I'VE STUCK TO MY

PRINCIPLES, I'VE NEVER BEEN LET

DOWN.

>> PEOPLE COME TO NEWARK BUT

NEWARK AND THEY SEE CERTAIN

6 Common Signs of Dyslexia in Adults, You Should Know! - Duration: 5:19.

6 Common Signs of Dyslexia in Adults

In the United States alone, approximately five to 10 percent of the population has been

diagnosed with dyslexia, a learning disorder that affects a person's ability to read,

write, spell and speak.

While mixing up letters while writing or mispronouncing words when speaking are common, there are

many other indicators of this learning disorder, which vary with age.

Although it is commonly identified in young children, for some it may go undiagnosed until

adulthood.

In such cases, there are several common signs of dyslexia—including these six.

1.

Avoid Reading

In order to hide their disability, those with dyslexia will often avoid any activities that

involve reading—such as reading to themselves or aloud to others—as their struggles are

a source of shame and embarrassment.

For some, these tasks may prove so challenging that they seek out employment in positions

or fields that conceal or help them avoid dealing with their difficulties.

As a result, these individuals may be "underemployed," meaning their roles are well below their capabilities.

2.

Slow Reading and Writing

If required to do tasks that involve reading or writing, those with dyslexia may take an

unusually long time to complete them.

When reading, this is often because a person will have to re-read sentences several times

to fully understand.

They may become tired or bored very quickly.

Writing, on the other hand, can prove laborious due to a lack of confidence when it comes

to choice of words, spelling and punctuation.

3.

Poor Spelling

Dyslexia makes it challenging for a person to associate letters with the specific sounds

they make, which can lead to poor spelling.

This may cause tasks like taking notes and copying content to be difficult and frustrating.

As a result, those with dyslexia tend to rely on tools like spell-check, or they may ask

others to help them with written work.

Even a person's handwriting can be affected by the disorder, causing them to write in

all capital letters, or frequently mix upper and lower case letters within words.

4.

Difficulty Planning and Organizing

Struggling to estimate the time required to complete a task makes planning very challenging

for those with dyslexia.

As a result, they may have issues meeting deadlines.

Organizing is another skill that is difficult for people with dyslexia to master.

At school or work, this may become apparent when trying to organize the structure of an

essay or report, or effectively expressing one's thoughts within such a written document.

5.

Difficulty Memorizing

Although people with dyslexia tend to have excellent long-term memory for experiences,

locations and faces, they tend to struggle with memorizing sequences, facts or things

they were not personally involved in.

According to Dyslexia Victoria Online, this includes things like "[the] alphabet, counting,

days of the week, months of the year and in order, the seasons of the year, names and

dates in school work, people they meet or know about."

6.

Speaking Challenges

When speaking, someone with dyslexia may experience several challenges, such as struggling to

retrieve the proper words.

This may lead to frequent pauses in a conversation—where gaps are often filled with plenty of "ums"—or

the use of words like "stuff" or "things" if proper names cannot be recalled.

Dyslexia can also cause people to incorrectly pronounce the names of people and places,

or confuse words that sound alike.

They may also stumble over parts of words as they say them.

6 Causes of Eating Disorders, You Should Know! - Duration: 7:21.

6 Causes of Eating Disorders

With the abundance of food available to most Americans today, perhaps it's no surprise

that eating disorders have become a fairly common problem.

Not only is it incredibly easy for most people to access food, but much of the most affordable

food, such as fast food and snacks, is potentially damaging when eating in excess.

Of course, over-eating is not the only type of eating disorder.

In an effort to look like the beautiful people on our favorite television shows, in our favorite

movies, and in the most popular magazines, many people go to extreme lengths to achieve

what they believe is the ideal body type.

If not controlled, this behavior can lead to bulimia and anorexia, both of which can

have devastating effects on the human body and may even lead to death.

So, what are some of the causes of eating disorders and how can we address them?

1.

Chemical

Many medical professionals, including scientists and physicians, who study eating disorders

believe the problem can be tied to biochemical disorders in the brain.

Specifically, it's possible that an imbalance of certain chemicals in the brain can cause

one to feel hungry more or less than they should, drastically increasing their chances

of having an unhealthy relationship with food.

Sometimes these chemical imbalances in the brain can be remedied through the use of medications,

but this is effective only some of the time.

The use of medication in addition to regularly meeting with a support professional — such

as a social worker, physician, or psychiatrist — can provide the help one requires to overcome

their chemical imbalance and lead a more healthy life.

2.

Genetic

One can do everything in their power to lead a healthy life — they can eat well, exercise,

visit their doctor regularly, and make an effort to achieve a state of overall mental

and physical well-being.

But even the healthiest person can find their health affected by a genetic predisposition

to a medical condition, from cancer to heart disease and even eating disorders.

In short, if your ancestors or members of your immediate family struggled with weight

problems — whether that involves being excessively heavy or thin — you may encounter these

same issues at some point in your life.

In any case, it pays to be prepared for the challenges you may face, so be sure to ask

your loved ones about some of the health conditions your family members have faced in the past.

3.

Psychological

Individuals who find themselves in particularly stressful or depressing circumstances may

be more likely to develop an eating disorder.

This is particularly likely among individuals who have felt especially stressed or depressed

for long periods of time, as it could lead them to use food as a way to relieve stress

and alleviate persistent feelings of depression.

Other emotions that can contribute to the emergence of eating disorders include general

feelings of low self-esteem; feelings of inadequacy (perhaps as the result of being in an abusive

relationship with a partner, family members, or a group of friends); feeling that one lacks

any control in their lives; and feeling as though they lacking a reliable social network.

4.

Social

One's social network and the nature of their everyday relationships can have a huge impact

on their attitude towards food.

Say, for example, that an individual spends a lot of time with people who worry about

eating and their weight: there's a good chance that anyone in that group of people

will absorb that general outlook.

Of course, the same could be said of an individual who spends much of their time in a social

group where eating healthy and getting exercise is considered unnecessary.

Because it can often be hard to look beyond one's own social group, it can require the

support of medical professionals, like a family doctor, social worker, or psychiatrist, to

help an individual recognize how their social group is affecting their attitudes towards

food and increasing their chances of succumbing to an eating disorder.

5.

Cultural

When it comes to determining the causes of an eating disorder, perhaps the most difficult

factor to reckon with involves the culture surrounding the affected individual.

This is because, unlike a social group, it's virtually impossible to take someone with

an eating disorder out of their culture in order to help treat them.

Put simply, cultural pressures can lead to eating disorders by repeatedly emphasizing

the importance of having a thin and toned body.

For women, the emphasis is often on being thin, toned, and yet having ample breasts,

hips, and butt.

While men generally face less pressure to be thin, there's a growing connection between

masculinity and muscularity that leads many men to obsess over their bodies.

For those who have developed eating disorders largely because of these cultural pressures,

it's crucial that those around them emphasize the fact that there is no such thing as a

"perfect body."

6.

Interpersonal

This factor in causing eating disorders is similar to social network but often involves

just one or two people.

In this case, a trouble love life — such as having a partner who repeatedly shames

his or her partner into feeling too thin or fat — can have devastating consequences

for the affected individual.

Of course, this could be another type of major interpersonal relationship, such as the link

between a mother and child.

Individuals caught in these kinds of abusive interpersonal relationships will not only

struggle to have a healthy opinion of food and eating; they may struggle to express themselves

generally.

In short, their troubled relationship or relationships can make it difficult to identify ways to

improve their situation by seeking help or making changes to their diet and lifestyle.

The Building Blocks of the Universe | Elementary Particles Explained (1/2) - Duration: 2:59.

Have you ever thought what you actually are?

What are you made of?

I mean you probably remember from school that whatever you look into you will find atoms!

At the very least an electron - an elementary particle, and a nucleus that holds protons and neutrons bond together

But what are those made of?

What if you had a box and you could remove every matter inside? Is the box going to be truly empty?

[Intro]

Well if you were to put some kind of energy into the box, you will understand that you could actually create stuff

But why?

Well, because it consists of what physicists call fields!

By exciting the electromagnetic field a photon is born -

- a particle that carries radiation or what we perceive as light!

All together 17 particles could be produced that way

They can be divided into three groups

The leptons - such as the electron and the less known muon and tau particles;

The quarks - six particles that are always found in groups and create the nucleus of an atom;

And probably the most important ones - the bosons!

While the quarks and leptons are made by matter fields the bosons are made by force fields!

The bosons tell the rest of the elementary particles how they can move or what they could do in general,

and thus, help observe the four fundamental forces:

Gravitational, Electromagnetic, as well as Strong and Weak Interactions!

The quarks are born together through the gluon field

The gluon boson acts as an exchange particle for the strong force between quarks

The new-created sub-particle - the proton, now interacts with the electron through the electromagnetic field,

because of the differences in particle charges

Some phenomena may seem complex, but indeed is just a couple of particles playing the game for existence!

This theory is what physicists call 'The Standard Model of Particle Physics'

We are just fluctuations in the quantum fields!

This was just a simple explanation of the ingredients of the Universe!

We just scratched the surface

But if you want more in-depth information, check the follow-up video on my channel!

We live in exciting ages of discoveries and space exploration. We are honored to have an amazing opportunity

5 Symptoms of Low Blood Oxygen (Hypoxia), You Should Know! - Duration: 4:39.

5 Symptoms of Low Blood Oxygen (Hypoxia)

Hypoxemia occurs when a person experiences lower-than-normal oxygen levels in the blood,

specifically in the arteries.

According to WebMD, this can lead to what's known as hypoxia, "when your blood doesn't

carry enough oxygen to your tissues to meet your body's needs," although hypoxia is

often used to describe both conditions.

This can occur suddenly as a result of taking certain medications or having an asthma attack,

or develop over time due to heart problems or lung diseases like chronic obstructive

pulmonary disorder (COPD) and emphysema.

Although symptoms of hypoxia often vary from person to person, the following are the five

most common ones to be aware of.

1.

Skin Color Changes

As red blood cells are what carry oxygen to the body's tissues, an insufficient amount

of them can cause the skin to change color.

Known as cyanosis, the skin will typically appear a dark bluish-red, and is most noticeable

if oxygen levels drops dramatically.

For those with darker skin colors, MedlinePlus says cyanosis "may be easier to see in the

mucous membranes (lips, gums, around the eyes) and nails."

2.

Confusion

The NHS defines a state of confusion as "not being able to think clearly or quickly, feeling

disorientated, and struggling to pay attention, make decisions, or remember things."

If you notice yourself or someone else suddenly exhibiting any of these symptoms, it may be

an indication of hypoxia.

Sudden hypoxia could be caused by a variety of reasons, from a severe asthma attack to

a problem with the heart or lungs.

3.

Coughing

One of the most common causes of hypoxia is a severe asthma attack, during which it can

be hard to get sufficient air into the lungs as the airways have narrowed.

In an attempt to clear the lungs, a person may cough frequently.

While this is a natural reaction, it can prove dangerous as WebMD says "coughing to clear

your lungs uses even more oxygen and can make symptoms worse."

4.

Rapid Heart Rate and Breathing

An increased heart rate most often occurs when engaging in physical activity, so if

it happens while at rest it may be an indication of hypoxia.

When the body isn't receiving sufficient oxygen, Livestrong.com says that the heart

begins pumping faster in order to "help circulate oxygen-containing blood throughout

the body in an attempt to meet the cells' needs."

Breathing also becomes more rapid when the body's oxygen needs aren't being met,

in an effort to increase intake.

While people normally breathe at a rate of 12 to 16 times per minute, in these situations

rates may increase to 24 breaths or higher.

5.

Shortness of Breath

Shortness of breath is considered one of the most obvious symptoms of hypoxia, and often

occurs as a result of the increased heart rate and breathing mentioned previously.

It often occurs while at rest, and can become so severe that it feels as though you're

choking.

Shortness of breath will be especially pronounced when engaging in physical activities, and

may decrease one's tolerance for them.

It may also happen during sleep, causing you to wake up out of breath.

In some cases, shortness of breath may also be accompanied by wheezing, a high-pitched

whistling sound that occurs when breathing, particularly exhaling.

Pope Francis and Bishop Burbidge Invite You to "Share the Journey" - Duration: 2:11.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ: On September 27th in St. Peter's Square,

Pope Francis launched a 2-year campaign called "Share the Journey." Our

Holy Father is calling on Catholics and all people of good will to work together

to welcome and to support those who must flee their homelands in order to survive,

and to find a life worthy of the dignity of God's children. I ask you to join me

in continuing to make our Diocese a place of welcome for the stranger in our

midst. While we remain committed to preserving our safety and our national

security, we also support a comprehensive process of allowing families to find

safety, shelter and respect. Faithful to the Gospel, we protect and assist each

other as brothers and sisters made in the image and likeness of God. How can we

do this? First, pray; pray for ourselves that our hearts

may recognize in the faces of migrants and refugees the Holy Family, who

themselves fled their home to escape persecution; pray for those who must flee

and pray for their persecutors. Second, Sunday October 8th begins a week of

prayer and action for the Share the Journey campaign. Join with your priests

and fellow parishioners to pray for migrants and refugees at Mass that

weekend. Do what you can to be a welcoming presence for those with whom

you come into contact in your daily life. Third, see our diocesan website to learn

about opportunities available through Catholic Charities of the Diocese of

Arlington to help extend the welcome of Christ to those who hunger for it.

Thank you. and God bless you.
