I want you

To look right in my eyes

To tell me you love me

Be by my side

I want you

At the end of my life

I wanna see your face,

I wanna fall with grace

At the moment I die

Is that alright?

Life is so simple

A little boy, a little girl

Laughing and loving

Trying to figure out the world

Watch Jealous vs. Hogan Debate Live Stream Online | Heavy.com

Tonight is the one and only debate between Gov.

Larry Hogan and Ben Jealous, starting at 7 p.m.

Eastern.

Everyone's going to be talking about this debate, so you'll probably want to watch it as it airs.

You can watch the debate in the video above from Maryland Public TV.

The debate will air tonight, Monday, September 24, at 7 p.m.

Eastern.

But the debate isn't actually happening at 7 p.m.

Eastern.

It already happened early today at 11 a.m., The Baltimore Sun reported.

You can also stream the debate using the PBS and MPT Anywhere app, which lets you watch MPT locally produced shows on your computer or mobile devices.

Works with iOS, Android, Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire Stick, and Android TV.

See details here.

The debate was held at the Maryland Public Television studios in Owing Mills, Maryland.

The panelists were from The Washington Post, The Baltimore Sun, The Herald-Mail of Hagerstown, and WMDT-TV.

The moderator is Jeff Salkin of MPT.

This debate certainly hasn't been without its controversies.

Early on, Jealous was publicly pushing for five debates and Hogan agreed to two.

But then there was a standoff, and neither side could settle on when the debates would happen or just how many would occur.

In the end, they could only find common ground on one debate — tonight's debate that was taped earlier and is airing tonight.

A number of voters wish there were more debates because they aren't sure how the two can cover all the salient topics in just one hour.

But things got more controversial from there.

After tonight's debate was first announced, Hogan's campaign released emails between his campaign group and Jealous' group that made it look like Jealous only wanted one debate, WBAL-TV reported.

But Jealous said those emails were misleading and out of context.

This wasn't the only controversy, however.

At one point, Jealous had vetoed a Herald-Mail reporter from attending the debate.

His campaign later rescinded that veto, saying it only happened because of how the "entire debate panel selection process" had worked, Herald-Mail Media reported.

The election is November 6 from 7 a.m.

to 8 p.m.

You can also participate in early voting from Thursday, Oct.

25 through Thursday, Nov.

1 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

See a full list of precincts and polling locations here.

Noel Francisco's Family: Things Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com - Duration: 8:28.

Noel Francisco's Family: Things Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com

Noel Francisco is the Solicitor General of the United States and the fourth-ranking official in the US Justice Department.

Francisco is also, it seems, the person in line to take over overseeing the Mueller investigation if Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein leaves his job.

However, there's some doubt over whether Franciso, who is seen as very close to Republican and conservative causes, would take over the investigation.

Rosenstein's background is more political than most solicitor generals.

He also has a history of working for the law firm Jones Day, which represents the Trump campaign.

Some political observers think that Francisco would have to recuse himself from the Mueller investigation, leaving Steve Engel to take over the investigation.

Noel Francisco's family is both unconventional and international.

Here's what you need to know:.

Francisco and His Wife Adopted a Daughter from Russia.

Back in 2002, Francisco was working in the Bush administration when he was inspired when he saw other administration staffers adopt children from other countries.

Lawrence B.

Lindsey, Bush's top economic adviser, Lawrence B.

Lindsey had adopted a child.

Susan Neely, who worked in the Homeland Security press office, adopted an orphan from Cambodia.

Other administration officials adopted children from Turkey.

Francisco said that he was inspired by all the people around him who were bringing children to America and making them part of their families.

He and his wife adopted a baby girl, Caroline, from a part of Russia near Chechnya.

Francisco made two trips to the region before returning home with baby Caroline.

Francisco and his wife said they wanted to adopt "to show we're citizens of the world.

His Father Was a Filipino Immigrant.

Francisco grew up in the small upstate New York town of Oswego, attending Oswego High School before he went on to the University of Chicago.

Franciso's mother, Therese, was American.

His father, Nemesio, was a Filipino immigrant who grew up amid war and arrived in the US speaking virtually no English.

Noel said that his father, who was born in 1935, told him stories of being driven out of his home by soldiers as a child.

But Nemesio's family saved up enough money to send Nemesio to medical school and, eventually, to send him to America, where he eventually became Oswego's town doctor.

Noel often talked about his father's strength and his ability to overcome great difficulties later in life.

Nemesio died of cancer when he was just 53.

Noel and His Brother, David, Liked to Do Historical Reenactments.

Noel has one brother, David Francisco.

When Noel and David were growing up, they worked for the Fort Ontario Historic Site in Oswego.

They were both members of the the Fort Ontario Guard.

That's a group of nine men and women who dress is post-Civil War uniforms and carry out demonstrations of period drills and exercises for tourists on the fort's grounds.

David Francisco is now a doctor living in the Rochester area.

Their father, Nemesio, was a doctor who served as Oswego's general practitioner.

Francisco's Father, Nemesio, Was a Big Fan of Ronald Reagan.

Noel Francisco said that he remembers one big fight his parents had, back when he was a child.

His father, a Filipino immigrant, had donated money to Ronald Reagan's re-election campaign.

Noel's mother, an American-born woman named Therese, was horrified.

Her own family were teamsters, and she likely didn't support Reagan.

Francisco says the family didn't have a lot of money and Therese was also horrified at the idea of spending hard-earned wages to support a political campaign.

But, he said, his father was very, very proud of having donated to Reagan's campaign.

In return for his donation, he got a signed photograph of Reagan.

He said, "my father was so proud of that auto-penned photo.

And it was only many years later that I began to understand why.

It was because he had come to understand that he was an American, and he was actively participating in our democratic process.".

Francisco and His Wife, Cynthia, Live in Washington D.C.

With Their Daughters.

Noel Francisco is married to Cynthia Francisco.

The couple has two daughters, Caroline and Maggie.

Caroline was adopted from Russia in 2001, after Francisco made a couple of trips to the area.

The family lives in Washington, DC.

Noel Francisco:Things Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com

Solicitor General Noel Francisco would become the acting deputy attorney general at the Department of Justice if Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein is fired.

The 49-year-old Francisco is the third-ranking Senate-confirmed official in the Justice Department, behind Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who has recused himself from the Russia investigation, and Rosenstein.

If Rosenstein is fired, Francisco would be put in a position to oversee special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russia's interference into the 2016 election.

But Francisco could also recuse himself because of his ties to Jones Day, a law firm that has represented the Trump campaign.

If Francisco recused himself, the next person in line would be Steven Engel, the Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legal Counsel.

Here's what you need to know about Noel Francisco:.

Francisco Was Sworn in as Solicitor General in September 2017.

Noel Francisco was sworn in as Solicitor General of the United States on September 19, 2017, according to the Justice Department's website.

He was nominated to the position by President Donald Trump in March 2017.

The Senate voted 50 to 47 to confirm his appointment to the position.

The solicitor general and his office is responsible for representing the United States before the U.S.

Supreme Court.

Two of his mentors told NPR last year that the solicitor general position was Francisco's "dream job.".

Francisco is known as a skilled and talented lawyer, but some, including Trump's allies, have questioned whether he would be the best person to oversee the special counsel's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.

I can tell you, Noel Francisco, very talented lawyer, but to be Solicitor General, you have a specific skill set and running a Russia collusion investigation is probably not one of them," former New Jersey governor Chris Christie told ABC News in April.

He Had Been a Partner at Jones Day, a Firm That Represented the Trump Campaign, Where He Argued Several Times Before the Supreme Court.

According to the site Above the Law, Francisco is a former partner at Jones Day, a top law firm.

DOJ's bio for Francisco says "prior to joining the Justice Department, he was a partner in the Washington, DC office of Jones Day, where he was the chair of the Firm's Government Regulation Practice.".

Several Jones Day alums have joined the Trump administration.

The firm represented the Trump campaign and as a result, Francisco could step aside from any involvement in the Russia investigation and from overseeing special counsel Robert Mueller because of a conflict of interest.

While at Jones Day, says the DOJ bio, Francisco "appeared several times before the Supreme Court, including in McDonnell v.

United States, which involved the meaning of "official act" under federal bribery statutes; Zubik v.

Burwell, which involved the application of the Religious Freedom Restoration Act to regulations related to insurance coverage for contraception; and NLRB v.

Noel Canning, which involved the Constitution's recess appointment power.".

The bio says he has also "argued numerous cases in the lower federal and state courts on a wide range of constitutional, civil, and criminal matters.

The Federalist Society said he also represented "the Free Enterprise Fund in a successful challenge to the constitutionality of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board; and the International Coal Group in connection with a congressional investigation into the January 2, 2006 Sago Mine accident in Sago, West Virginia.

He also advises clients in matters involving the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, the Alien Tort Statute, and the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).".

Francisco Worked in the Department of Justice During President George W.

Bush's Administration & Was on His Legal Team During the 2000 Florida Recount.

From 2001 to 2003, says DOJ, "Francisco served in the Office of Counsel to the President as Associate Counsel to President George W.

Bush, and from 2003 to 2005 he served as Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the U.S.

Department of Justice, Office of Legal Counsel.".

Politico called Francisco a "seasoned Republican attorney" and said he once worked with Ted Cruz "on the legal team supporting George W.

Bush during the 2000 Florida recount.".

He Studied at the University of Chicago & Brandeis University Before Clerking for Justice Antonin Scalia.

Noel Francisco graduated from the University of Chicago with a bachelor's degree in 1991 and then attended the University of Chicago Law School, graduating with honors in 1996, according to his Department of Justice biography.

Francisco has also studied at Brandeis University, according to his Linkedin profile.

After law school, Francisco clerked for Judge J.

Michael Luttig of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit before clerking for Associate Justice Antonin Scalia of the United States Supreme Court, according to the Justice Department.

Francisco Is the Son of a Filipino Immigrant & Adopted a Daughter From Russia With His Wife.

Noel Francisco grew up in Oswego, New York, according to his Department of Justice biography.

He is the son of a Filipino immigrant, Nemesio Francisco, who moved to the U.S.

with little money and not speaking much English, according to Syracuse.com.

His father died at 53 of cancer after becoming a beloved doctor in Oswego.

His mother, Therese Francisco, still lives in Oswego.

He told The Post-Standard in 2012 he learned about politics while in his high school's band.

"I always say the first political lesson I learned was in high school," Francisco told the newspaper.

"There were more people in band than in sports, so by consolidating the band group, you could negotiate what you needed.

You also could learn a lot about people from band because it was such as diverse collection of kids.".

Francisco lives in Washington D.C.

with his wife, Cynthia Francisco, and their two daughters.

According to The Washington Post, Francisco adopted one of his daughters, Caroline, from Russia.

She was born near Chechyna and Francisco and his wife adopted her in 2002 while he was working in the Bush administration.

The Post wrote at the time, "Caroline attended the East Room event and had her picture taken with her parents at the press secretary's lectern.

Francisco says he and his wife decided they liked international adoption 'to show we're citizens of the world.'".
