Boris (Bendy and the Ink Machine): The Story You Never Knew - Duration: 12:11.

This video is Sponsored by Displate.

Just thought you should know.

Boris the wolf!

I dunno about you but Boris has always been a favorite character of mine.

He's, perhaps, the most prominent cartoon dude besides Bendy and Alice.

In Chapter 1 we see an "imperfect clone" of him strapped down and mutilated and in

Chapter 3...we see a whole lot more.

Boris the Wolf is quite the glutton for punishment!

But judging by his personality...he's not exactly into it.

He's a little bit shy, a little bit afraid, but most of all he's a loveable dude who

doesn't stray far from his passive, happy go lucky nature.

Or...does he??!

Indeed Boris the Wolf is a wolf-man buried in question marks and wrapped in an enigma.

I'm saying we've got unanswered questions, people!

There's the trivial questions like why does he love bacon soup so much?

And then there's the juicier ones like why was he chosen to be our basically useless

sidekick for Chapter 3?

And most of all...WHY HAS HE BEEN CLONED SO MANY TIMES???

The obvious answer to that last one is because Alice wanted to harvest his inky organs to

make herself beautiful...it did take "so many of them to make her so perfect" but

what if I told you it goes deeper than that?

What if I told you that Boris the Wolf and his many, many copies tell us far more about

Bendy and the Ink Machine?

It's all fascinating stuff.

And you know what else is fascinating?

WAPOW!

DISPLATE!

You think regular posters are cool?

Pshhhhh.

You're crazy!

These metal posters look so sleek and gorgeous and are hung up so easily with a magnetic

panel you stick to the wall, allowing you to change plates out WHENEVER!

THESE THINGS ARE SO SEXY!

And plus!

Look.

LOOK AT THE TOP OF THE SCREEN.

THEY PLANT 10 TREES FOR EVERY DISPLATE!

They were sticking on brand before they even met us.

You'll be supporting an amazing sponsor, Displate, and the Treesicle team in the process.

You'll love it.

Now back to it!

We were talkin' about Boris, so let's just back in feet first.

Decades have passed since Henry left Joey Drew studios...we've only been able to piece

together a sizeable smidgeon of the grander picture that is the real story...but Boris

the Wolf holds in his gloved hands a secret that threatens our minds with the sharp, stabby

sword of TRUTH!

A truth that ties together the story of what happened before and gives insight into human

nature itself.

Think I'm being dramatic?

Then put on a white shirt, squirt some ink on it, then draw a pentagram and then erase

it and then redraw it as a bunch of weird lines and stuff because that's what they

did in the remastered chapters and PREPARE YOURSELF.

FOR THE STORY OF AN UNASSUMING WOLF TURNED INTO A MEME FOR WHAT IT MEANS TO BE HUMAN

WITHIN THE WALLS OF HELL.

THIS IS THE STORY BORIS THE WOLF...THE STORY...you never knew.

First things first let's talk about what we know.

We know that Boris is a Wolf.

We know he's a chill dude.

A solid start.

But as far as his deeper meaning is concerned...we must dive deeper.

We've covered the basics of Boris' personality but there's something strange going on here.

Remember this studio has been quite the clusterfuck for the last few decades.

And remember we encounter Boris at the end of Chapter 2 just kind of wandering around.

Is it so farfetched to say our beloved Wolf has been wandering these halls for a long,

long time?

What would such a fate do to someone's mind?

To dive deeper into the enigma that is Boris...let's rewind a bit.

We see Boris in all kinds of posters advertising the animations he's starred in.

There's Sheep Songs, Hell in a Handbasket, Showbiz Bendy, and more!

More importantly, however, is Boris' representation in the fully animated cartoon shorts sprinkled

into the lore of this game.

An interesting example is "Haunted Hijinks" where Bendy finds Boris just chillin and doing

his thing...which makes for the perfect opportunity to become a spooky ghost and scare poor Boris.

BUT WAIT! Boris dawns his own costume and spooks Bendy first!

What a guy.

Not to mention in Tombstone Picnic we see Boris snarl at Bendy after getting popped

with a champagne cork.

He goes back to eating pretty soon after but such flashes of anger are unseen throughout

Boris's entire representation throughout the game chapters.

Nothing you do bothers him and when danger is afoot our derpy side-kick only cowers in

fear.

Snarling in anger and beating Bendy to the spook-punch are...out of place behaviors for

Boris the Wolf.

Really, anything involving assertive behavior is unusual for what we know about Boris.

He's unapologetically passive throughout the games...so much so he basically becomes

a damsel in distress getting captured by Alice.

Whereas in this animations...from long ago...Boris had a bit of a kick to him.

An edge.

He didn't want to ruffle any feathers unless his feathers had already been ruffled OR they're

about to be ruffled.

This is the true nature of Boris the Wolf.

But now Boris refuses to ruffle any feathers whatsoever.

He's a shadow of his former self because of years within the walls of inky hell.

Tragic I know.

Now let's take another look at this mass grave of Borises in Chapter 3.

Don't you find it odd that our good wolf is the large majority of cartoon characters

whose organs have been harvested?

We do see butcher gang members who met the same fate but they just aren't as numerous.

There's simply far more Borises...and the question is why?

Surely an answer to that will enlighten us on the gnawing secrets hiding behind those

innocent eyes.

Sound reasonable?

Great!

Because the answer to why there are more Borises can be found from how the ink machine actually

works.

Surely there is a method to the madness that is 3D printing cartoon characters into existence.

And we must identify the crucial step within that method which makes for so many kind wolves.

So what gives??

Well we know these bodies that become characters don't just come out of nowhere.

They originally were real-life homosapiens who got inkified by Joey Drew's gross, weird

creation.

Which means somehow the ink machine decides who becomes what.

Most likely this is an automatic process.

The machine decides which character most closely matches the person inserted and in turn converts

that person into the character most similar to them.

In previous videos you might remember we believe Joey Drew is the ink demon, himself.

This is because Joey's creepy, manipulative and downright evil personality is a perfect

match with the demonic bendy.

And obviously Susie Campbell is Evil Alice.

Her bitterness from being replaced by Allison cuz Joey is a horny douchebag was enough for

the sorting hat within the machine to decide...this bitch is Evil Alice.

And it, of course, decided that Allison would become Good Alice.

Then we've got Tom...cleary the machine decided his mind resembled Boris' but also

decided that Tom had enough of a unique identity to him to allow him to retain a part of himself

and therefore make a new take on Boris the Wolf.

Tomris!

Although he still goes by Tom.

Anyway.

This all points back to that question...why so many Borises?

Well by now that might be obvious.

If it's not...let me spell it out for ya.

All these dead cartoons used to be employees at the studio right?

That means the ink machine decided these folks were a match for Boris!

And a few of them matched the Butcher gang.

And so Boris the Wolf's personality reflects the personality of most of those who worked

at the studio.

We now have an in depth understanding how the employees of Joey Drew studios used to

be.

Most of them were passive, non-confrontational, and not crazy unique in their personality...otherwise

they would have become a distinct version of Boris rather than a generic, imperfect

copy of him.

They were...by all accounts, a reflection of your average Joe who isn't a dick.

The ones were were dicks became butcher gang members.

Remember these people ain't no eccentric personality, they aren't special snowflakes,

and for the ones who became fair-minded canines, they were kind enough, minded their own business

unless trifled with, and they were down to poke back only when the world intended to

poke at them first.

And of course...a few of those studio members are more like the Butcher gang.

Aggressive, angry, willing to lash out at a moments notice and all around just ain't

great.

There's always bad apples.

And so when we look at the array of characters spat out by the ink machine, we see a spectrum

of personalities which reflects the spectrum of human nature itself.

Bendy the ink demon... cruel and deceptive...a lawful evil, the projectionist...determined,

willing to attack but only when threatened...a chaotic neutral, Evil Alice Angel...bitter

and resentful...a chaotic evil, Good Alice Angel, brave and kind...to those who deserve

it...a lawful good.

The butcher gang, out for whatever they can get and simply want to be mean because it's

easier to get what you want in the short-run when you have no regard for others….a neutral

evil.

Then we've got Boris...unassuming, down for whatever (within reason), but is willing

to poke back if provoked...a true neutral.

Otherwise he wouldn't be the majority.

He is the culmination of the most common aspects of humanity...otherwise he wouldn't be the

majority.

Indeed Boris the Wolf...is your average Joe.

Your regular Jane.

An honest reflection of the most common human personality traits distilled into one rather

neutral wolf.

There's no shortage of Butcher Gang members, there's the occasional Ink Demon, the rare

Evil Alice, the extraordinary Good Alice, the unique Tom, but most of us...are Borises.

And that's a beautiful thing.

And so how tragic is it when Alice kidnaps the perfect Boris.

The one who went through so much in bitter loneliness and also at our side and the who

so exactly reflects the commonest human image.

How dare you Alice.

HOW DARE YOU TAKE HIM FROM US AND CORRUPT HIM INTO A MONSTROSITY FILLED WITH RAGE.

No doubt this is symbolic of how evil can corrupt even the purest of creatures.

It can corrupt even the purest version of the human mind.

A MIND WHERE THE MOST COMMON POSITIVE ASPECTS OF HUMANITY ARE SEAMLESSLY INTERWOVEN TO BECOME

OUR BELOVED BORIS.

And so next time you see this unassuming Wolf know you're staring into the eyes of the

many.

But as pretty alright as they may be, the individuals within the sea of people you encounter

everyday can always be corrupted by someone who aims to hurt.

It's this poetic truth which stabs us in the heart when our perfect Boris is snatched

away and returned to us as a homicidal abomination.

That's the story of cartoons mirroring human nature.

A story drenched with positivity cuz Boris is the closest representation of most humans

and Boris is pretty cool but also it's sad because evil corrupted him and therefore can

corrupt us.

That's the story of Boris the Wolf the story...you never knew.

And...that's my take on Boris!

He's quite an interesting dude wouldn't you say?

Maybe you never expected Bendy cartoons to be tied into human nature but that's because

you've imposed limits onto yourself about what's allowed to be considered.

Anyway if you liked this video, let me know your thoughts down below.

Do you think most are more Boris than Butcher Gang?

Let me know if you are more Boris than Butcher Gang.

And thanks so much to Displate for sponsoring this video.

That's all I got for today...I'll see you in the next one.

This Vitamin Reverses Calcification In Your Arteries, Can You Guess Which one? - Duration: 6:09.

Hi guys! I'm going to talk to you about something that's really interesting there we are

in the middle of an epidemic of calcification of arteries in this

country. So, as people get osteoporosis their arteries calcify. A normal healthy

artery pulsates every time the heart beats. So with that pulsation, the

body can regulate its blood pressure, it can get a good pulse wave to extremities,

and so you can nourish the whole body. As people age, for various reasons that

we're going to talk about in a minute, their arteries can start to get calcified. They

get inflammation in the inner wall of the artery. That inflammation is

usually caused by infections or toxins and it causes an injury. As part of

the healing of that injury calcium is deposited, as part of the scar. This is

very close to my heart because my dad was a chronic smoker. He had heart

bypass when he was in his early 50s and then he also had calcification in his

aorta. Eventually one night, his aorta ruptured and that caused him to

die because the artery basically turned into

bone. Almost like bone. When the aorta ruptured, there was nothing that could be

done. Now, we know today that this process is reversible and one of the things that

helps reverse it is vitamin K. Now, there been some very nice studies; vitamin K is

a fat soluble vitamin. Usually the sources for us are green leafy

vegetables but, actually in terms of food sources the highest source is natto,

which is like the Japanese bean. It has the actual highest source of vitamin K.

Things like broccoli, spinach and kale are good sources and when they're

eaten with fats the absorption is good. Much of the vitamin K in our body is

actually produced by our own gut bacteria. So, if you're on medication that

destroys gut bacteria you may not be making enough vitamin K. So, this is a

really important nutrient. Because the way vitamin K works is it keeps the

calcium in the bones; 99% of the calcium in the body is in the bones and we want

to keep the calcium in the bones and out of the soft tissues. When there's

adequate vitamin K in the body and in the bones it it holds and stabilizes the

calcium within the bones. When the level isn't enough, it can leach out of the

bones, it can go other places where there is inflammation both acute and

chronic. There's some very interesting studies that were done to look at artery

wall stiffness. Like in our office we have a machine that will measure artery

wall stiffness. "How compliant are your arteries?" Of course young people have

really compliant arteries and as people age they tend to stiffen from calcium.

They found that when they supplemented with about a hundred and

eighty micro-grams a day of vitamin K; vitamin K comes in many sources

but, the ones that we want are vitamin K one, four, seven. If

you get a vitamin K supplement, you want one ideally that has those things in it.

One, two, four and seven. Okay?

Because they seem to work the best. Then you want good gut bacteria, so that

they can also be making your vitamin K. They found that over a three-year

period, that they had about a five percent decrease in the calcium score in

the arteries, compared to people who didn't supplement with vitamin K.

They had a one point three percent increase in the calcium. So, this process

can be slowly undone. I think because of the amount of inflammatory problems

there are in bodies today. that it's worth it to

supplement with a good vitamin K supplement that's a mixed vitamin K. Now

if you're taking green foods that helps or you're taking green concentrated

powders that helps. Because we're putting in vitamin K in those forms. If you like

and want to eat natto, that's good but, taking a vitamin K supplement I think is

good too. When they tested people it was a hundred eighty micro-grams.

You'll find these supplements in various places and I would just look into it.

I think sometimes the the K is supplemented or in the same package as a

vitamin D and it seems to me that's a good one. The vitamin D pulls calcium

into the bones, the vitamin K keeps it there. So, if you have a history of

coronary artery disease, hypertension, atherosclerosis or heart fails with

calcium, then I would certainly suggest that you supplement with an extra

vitamin K. It will help you to slow this process and actually even

reverse this process. Concentrate in your diet on making sure you're

getting plenty of greens and nurture your gut. Watch how many antibiotics

you take and for sure if you're on drugs that block vitamin K, then you have to

make sure that you get adequate levels. You should bring that up to your

physician. Okay? So, watch your vitamin K. It could really help you and it can undo

the calcium in your arteries. Have a good day.

Your Rivers Need You - Duration: 6:12.

It's ours.

The river is ours, so if it is ours it's

also our responsibility. I've got I've got three children and seven

grandchildren, and I will have great-grandchildren and

great-great-grandchildren. I want those generations to see what I've seen and

this river, it's ours because we live here, but it also belongs to you.

It belongs to all of us and now the people from outside have become interested in

helping us keep it beautiful.

(music)

I'm Joe Bowen from the little town of Bowen Kentucky which is just a few miles

from the Red River Gorge.

(music)

It's a magical place and once you go there no one has to explain to you that

it's magic, you feel it and you may not even know why but you know you are in a

very magical place. Everything in the Red River is in a state of change.

This baby is alive, this baby is alive, it is changing. It is changing the animal life

it is changing the forest, it's changing the weeds and the grass and the

flowers, it's changing everything and it even changes its color. It's magical it's

unbelievable. In the early sixties the Corps of Engineers was looking at the

possibility of building a damn on the Red River. So I was originally for the

dam and I'm glad today I'm glad that they didn't dam the Red River that I

love so well.

(music)

One of my classmates called me, they said we heard you were in town and

William O Douglas is going to be in the gorge tomorrow and we would like for you to be

there and do a rebuttal speech or talk for the dam and against Douglas.

William O Douglas?! That's a celebrity, (laughs) he kind of overwhelmed me because I knew

who he was and that was the only, still is the only Supreme Court Justice

I've ever met. I was only 23 - 24 years old and I did that.

I think we oppose the

Wild Rivers designation and a lot of other things, a lot of times we don't

trust our government and we feel like that we know better than our government

does, but we need to realize that we are the governor. It's ours. It is what we

make it, and we should be totally involved in that process because it is

ours and we are the government. We are the government, not somebody else. So it's

our responsibility and if we want something for those great great great

great grandchildren down the road, we better be taking care of them now.

If it gets designated as a wild river it doesn't happen overnight, but you stopped

the pollution and I've changed doing 75 years of living, I've changed my attitude

about the Red River. It has changed, I wanted to see it dammed up I wanted to

water-ski on it. But I don't have to water-ski on it now.

It's like you watch, you watch it become a wild river, but it it's been contaminated and then

through a very slow process you watch the magic happen and then you fall in love

with it more than you ever did before because now it's more appealing. As a kid

as a teenager we didn't have the large animals here, but as a result

of the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act over a long period of years, it's taken quite a

few years, but now we have these large animals here and the elk is almost here

it's two counties east of us but it will be here in a few more years it'll

be in our county.

I've got 8 acres of 70 to 100 year old trees on my property here, and I've had several

lumber companies come here and try to buy. No, I want my children to know what a

hundred year old tree looks like. I want to be able to stand on it, or climb

it if they want to, or put a swing on it. So the same thing with this river, I want my

grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great great great I want them to see

this river the way I saw it.

#AllThingsLinkedIn Day 9: the Top-3 goals you can achieve on LinkedIn - Duration: 1:44.

In the first 8 days of my 30-days challenge with the hashtag #AllThingsLinkedIn

I focused mainly on how to nail your LinkedIn profile. Well, now it's time

to level up! I will show you how to use and leverage the power of

LinkedIn to accomplish your personal professional goals. So, here are the

Top-3 goals you can achieve by using LinkedIn. 1. Grow your

network and find a new job. 2. Build your personal

brand and 3. Generate leads and grow your business. I have

already used the power of LinkedIn to grow my network and build my personal brand. And

by the way, quite a few opportunities came out of this, by using LinkedIn, just

by being active on the platform, by producing humbly content of value and

by engaging with other amazing professionals like you in my LinkedIn

network. So, that was it for Day #9 of my 30-days challenge with the hashtag

#AllThingsLinkedIn! What is the goal that you are trying to achieve by using

LinkedIn? Which one of these three goals is your goal at the moment?

And what is your greatest challenge towards accomplishing that goal? Drop a line

in the comments below this video to let me know and I will see you tomorrow!

#AllThingsLinkedIn Day 10: how to grow your network & find a new job - Duration: 2:51.

In my day #9 video of the series, I talked to you about the Top-3

goals you can achieve on LinkedIn! Today, I am going to talk to you about

the first one which is how to grow your network and find a new job. Well this is

the most apparent one as LinkedIn is a strictly professional network with

millions of professionals and thousands of job posts from other companies.

Here is how to do it! First, you need to nail your profile so go watch my Day

#1 to #8 videos of this series to see how to do it. Then, you

need to network with companies and other professionals from your industry or

field. So, go do your research and use the names of companies or job titles to

find people to connect with. Then, send them connection requests. Always include

a personal note with your connection requests. This really does make a

difference. And believe me, you will have a lot more people connecting to you and

accepting your connection requests. Also, get active on the platform and post

content which is of value and is relevant to your industry or your field.

And of course you must engage

with the professionals you have in your network and their content. One last

advice to find a new job is not to connect directly with HR professionals or

recruiters. You just have to let them find you & then take it from there. You can

use this inbound method of finding a job instead of going the traditional way, you

know, just apply to every job post that you come across out there on LinkedIn!

It's much more efficient and effective

this way, plus you can also start building your personal brand. I have used

this method myself and it has proven quite fruitful with quite a few job

opportunities landing in my mailbox! Remember it's all about networking and

giving out value! So, that was it for today Day #10 of my 30-days

challenge with the hashtag #AllThingsLinkedIn! Have you ever tried to find a new

job on LinkedIn? How did you do it and what was the result?

Drop a comment below this video to let me know and see you tomorrow!
