Waching daily Sep 26 2018

Normally when you click through to a

profile on LinkedIn they can see who it

is that has visited them. Whereas if there's

private mode like these examples here

you can actually be anonymous perhaps

it's a way to keep in touch with people

in competitive industries that kind of

thing . But I'll show you in this video

how you can turn on private mode here we

go

So to make changes to your privacy

settings go to where it says me and then

click on settings and privacy. So now you

need to click on privacy and here's some

tabs here So how others see your profile

network information. For example you can

control who could see your connections

that's a difficult one because you can

either turn it off completely or allow

all your connections to see them. It's

your connections or only you. But

what we're looking at here is when you

go and visit another profile. So you've

got profile viewing options. Choose

whether you're visible or viewing in

private mode. At the moment we've got

full profile is visible here. That is

your name and your headline There's an

interim option which is just to give the

detail of the job but in my case it

might be quite clear there aren't probably

that many social media specialists in

the information technology space and so

you could just go for anonymous LinkedIn

member. Now if you do that bear in mind

that it will disable who's viewed your profile

and erase your viewer history. So that

means your previous 90 days of stats are

removed and it makes it difficult for

you to see who's visiting you. So you use

this very selectively. I'm going to change

it back now to my name and headline and

I think once it's changed it should be

automatically saved. One last option to look

at here is blocking and hiding so you

can see who can follow you and see

public updates. At the moment it is set to

everyone on LinkedIn . You could just

limit it to your connections for example.

And with blocking there's a couple of

people there that I've chosen to block

in the past who can't see or can't send

me a connection request. And you can go

through as well anyone you've unfollowed

and keep following that kind of thing.

So lots of options here but the

main one is when you are visiting a profile to

decide whether you want to be completely

anonymous and there will be occasions where

it might be worthwhile but do remember

to turn it back to your normal mode if

you want to keep tracking who's visiting

you. So that's it from me I'm Paul from

PR wilson media your social media

personal trainer Cheers

How to Create a Minimalist Website Design using Slides Framework - Duration: 14:43.

Hey everyone today I will show you how to create a minimal style website using

slides framework in this video I will explain how to work with the slides app

how to use the manual how to use the examples and how to edit the code in

less than 30 minutes we'll create a cool website with good design and animation

start by opening the slides app here I will start to build my website by

choosing from designs and effects the first thing I will do is switch the

background option to white because I want a minimalistic website and don't

need background images and effects I choose the desired slides one by one I'm

trying to choose different types of slides to show you how to work with each

of them free animation I will select the chain effect

I think this effect is perfect for my website style I will ignore the menus

and navigation and will leave the default style of the website because it

is perfect for what I want to build let's see the preview of the actual

template to be sure I have finished the slide selection and I can export them to

my local computer

okay the animations look good and all the selected slides are here but I think

I will make changes to the slides order and we'll swap one slide with another

one I want to remove slide 82 for this I open the selected slide and remove it

and I will select another one slide 87

the order of slides is not good now and I will change the slide location by

dragging and dropping them right in the slides app let's preview the result this

is better because the slides are ordered logically and I can make additional

changes to the order later

now let's go back and export the template to my local computer find the

downloaded zip file and export it right here all files are located in this

folder here are the first step files manual files CSS HTML files and more

open the index.html file in your favorite code editor you can see the

code is well organized open index.html in a browser this is our website with

all the selected slides and effects

website images are located in the assets folder so let's start to customize our

template I will open the first slide image in Photoshop and change this image

with another one

in this tutorial I will use the images and text from one of the projects from

Kickstarter called new row take a look at this minimal watch it's very cool ok

let's start with template customization I have saved a few images from new row

watch I will copy these images to Photoshop and adjust it to the size of

the previous image refresh the page and here's the new image I will remove this

play button because I don't need the video function for this image in the

code I will remove the part of the code related to Vimeo and the video thumbnail

class refresh the page and it's just what I want to see now I want to remove

the link to the image also go back to the code editor and remove these classes

the result is good let's change the text on the page I can copy/paste the text

because I have prepared it from the new row watch campaign

the result is good but I want to fix the description because the word yet is

orphan and is not good so let's remove it

now it is perfect let's go to the next slide I will change this image and

remove the open effect open the image in the same way in Photoshop remember you

can change images how you want I just show my workflow here you might do this

another way

drag-and-drop the new image and adjust it to the size save the image let's see

ok I don't like how the watches are positioned I will adjust this in

Photoshop yes now is better next I want to remove this effect open the code

editor and let's see where to change the code here is the data action and I will

remove the zoom effect and Link refresh the page good this is what I want now I

will change the text and move forward the video in order to not lose the time

for these simple and repetitive changes

now in the same way refresh the page and check the changes good for the next

slide I prepared something new I will use a Jif image instead of a static

image for this I will copy and paste the prepared jiff image to IMG folder let's

rename it and open the code editor here we'll change the file extension to jiff

remove the video thumbnail code save the file and check the result I think the

image is too big so I will remove the shadow back to code editor and remove

the rounded shadow and paste the height and width of the jiff image right here I

will make the image smaller refresh the page the results is not very good it

seems we should remove a style open the code editor and here we'll remove the

wide class and also I will change the height and width size to 500 pixels

change the text of this slide and refresh the page to check the final

results yes now this is good let's move on to the next slide

okay for this slide I will use the slides manual because I want to use a

background image here open the code editor remove the code from Vimeo from

the previous slide and change the text on slide 4 in this slide I will use the

information about the red dot design award because this watch was awarded in

2010 for the best concept I need a background image here open the slides

manual find the background section and copy this part of the code open the code

editor and paste it before the section now copy and paste the background image

to background folder located in IMG folder change the name of the image

directly in the code and save I will refresh the page and check the result

the page looks good the background has a perfect fit for the typography colors

and grid scroll down to see the next slide in

this slide will change the text and icons and you will learn how to change

icons without image editing open the code editor and edit all the text I will

move forward because it's a repetitive part of our tutorial save the file to

see the live result the text is changed and fits well now for the most

interesting part how to change the icons for this purpose I will use the manual

open the manual and scroll to material icons you'll find detailed information

about how to use the material icons and slides open the material icons website

which includes all the icons supported by slides each icon has a name so we'll

use this name to change icons on our slide I have selected a few names of

icons and I will change them directly in the code material icons have a dedicated

class so it's easy to find them just change the name with your desired

icon name refresh the page to see the new icons in this style you can change

any icon you want more details are available in our documentation page

scroll down for next slide in this slide I will change the video and thumbnail

open the code editor and find the code I will change the text and remove the blue

button to change the video you need to copy and paste the ID of the video from

Vimeo insert the ID here and that's it we have changed the video next I will

change the thumbnail do this in the same way as before open the image in

Photoshop resize it to fit the previous image and save the file go back to the

browser and refresh the page to check the changed file here it is let's play

the video

very good in the next slide we'll create a small

gallery with three images open the code editor and start making the changes

first I will edit the text and remove the unnecessary part of the content from

our design also I will remove the second row of images

open the folder with images and remove the unnecessary images now it's time to

change the existing three images and insert ours there I will use the same

editing process in Photoshop as we have previously used I will move forward the

video because the process is exactly the same as before

you

save all the changes and open the browser to check the images are here

I think the gallery looks good it all works well now let's go to the next

slide here I want to mention the creators of this watch I open the code

editor and remove this text and change the next one

also I want to add a background image for this I copy the same code as before

and I change the title of the image save the document and refresh the browser

here is the result it looks good but I will change the font to bold for this

open the code editor and add the class bolt let's see the results

great you can leave the default style of the font if you like our website is

almost ready but I want to add a slide with a video background I want to create

a spectacular intro to my website because now it's a little bit static

this slide will be the first open the slides app and in the footer of the page

you will find examples click here copy and use the ready-made code for

different services tools or a new functionality for your website I will

use the Vimeo background for this example here is a preview

go back and copy the HTML code or you can download it I have copied it and

will paste to our code before the first slide here is the step by step

instruction on how to use this example and integrate it on your website first

we have to add this script to the head section of our code just cut the code

and paste a head

second insert this code custom Dutch es file copy the code and open the custom

das file located in J's folder and the last step is to cut this CSS code and

put it to the custom CSS file located in CSS folder okay clean the unused code

now and let's change the text and video in this example open your video on Vimeo

and copy the ID of the video now paste it right here in the code and change the

remaining text to the name of the watch in description save the file open the

browser and refresh the website the first slide is here and is attractive

with a nice video background in a short description of what about this website

is about I want one more small change I will make the title of the watch bolt

for this I have to change the class of font the light parameter to be bold

refresh the website I think it's better now

after watching this video you should be ready to use slides to create a website

fast for an advanced customization just use our detailed documentation page and

ready-made examples which will help you integrate different services and options

into your website I hope you enjoyed this video see you again soon

Whitney Sews 100k Subscriber Giveaway - Duration: 10:51.

hi everyone I am here today with a

really exciting video and that is

because on Saturday Whitney Sews reached

100,000 subscribers I am so excited I

have been looking forward to this for so

long and I wanted to thank every one of

you for subscribing for watching my

videos for sharing them for clicking

like and commenting and everything else

that you do to support my channel it has

been such an exciting time I started

this channel back in 2009 well I started

the channel before that but that's when

I started posting Whitney Sews content

and the very first video was made for a

school project for my final for video

production to I had to make a video that

showed my style as a director I didn't

really have a style as a director so I

kind of convinced my teacher that

instead I wanted to do a video that

showed how to create your own style and

she said it was okay so I created the

first Whitney Sews video which was a

t-shirt reconstruction I did two

different projects in it and you can

tell that video was really like scripted

and formal and everything because I was

trying to kind of present it as though

it was like a TV show and then as usual

I posted it on YouTube which I did with

all of my class projects and people

liked it I shared it on a t-shirt

reconstruction LiveJournal group that I

was in and everyone liked it so I

decided to make another video the next

week and I just kept making them and

it's been over nine years now and yeah I

posted weekly for over nine years I did

take a couple of short breaks in there

no longer than a month but yeah it's

been a very exciting journey so to

celebrate this I wanted to have a huge

giveaway this is the biggest giveaway

and that I have ever done so I want to

get right into showing you what is

going to be indie giveaway so first off

I did share a sneak peak of some of

these items a little while back but

first up is a set of four rulers from

Arteza these are the square rulers

they are in twelve and a half inches

nine and a half inches six inches and

four and a half inches so I love using

square rulers they are very handy for a

lot of different projects especially

squaring up quilt blocks so these are

really great and by the way I will have

links down below in the description box

so everything that I show that I can

find a link to I will have it down below

so if you want more details on anything

definitely check out those links down

there but yeah so four square rulers from

Arteza these were kindly sent by

the people at Arteza they provided

these for the giveaway which was so very

kind of them they also sent along a six

by twelve inch ruler this is a really

great size I don't have a ruler this

size and I wish I did

but I'm being nice and I'm including

this in the giveaway instead of keeping

it for myself so like I said those were

all sent by our Arteza which was super

nice I'm also including some things that

I purchased myself for the winner and

the first step is the fiskars basic a 45

millimeter rotary cutter I love this

rotary cutter I have one of them myself

in the blue and white design it's a

really just great basic rotary cutter

that I think works for everything so

there is that there is also my favorite

craft clips I use these so much so I

wanted to make sure to send along some

of my favorite supplies so that's why I

bought the rotary cutter the craft clips

a few other things because I want you

all to have the supplies that I love

using on a regular basis and that you

see in some of my videos so this is a

100 craft Clips so handy I use them for

sewing I also use them as chip clips in

the kitchen because you know chip clips

are necessary

but they are really great to have and

useful I also am including the memory

bear pattern that I love using this is

the simplicity it's so easy 2115 I

use this to make all my memory bears

I sell memory bears on the side I have a

separate business where I do that and

I've made tons of them and this is the

patterns that I use for all of them and

to go along with that you of course

cannot make memory bears without the

eyes and nose so I'm including 2 full

sets of eyes and nose for the memory

bears that you make from the pattern

these are the ones that I use for all of

my memory bears they are from Hobby

Lobby and I love them because they are

very reliable I don't have any problems

with the quality the backings are very

strong and once they are snapped

together they are a child safe and will

not come off I love the size of them and

everything like I said the links for

everything is down below in the

description box so check them out there

if you have been looking for eyes and

noses for your memory bears or other

stuffed animal projects i am also

including some thread this is the

Mettler polyester thread I've been using

this a ton lately I bought a huge

quantity of it and I really really liked

the quality of it so I'm passing some

along to the winner I forgot to show

with the rulers there is also some of

the non-slip adhesive that you can add

to the back of your ruler if you're

having trouble of it sliding around

while you're trying to cut with it you

can just add these onto the backing and

they will help your ruler stay in place

better so those were sent by Arteza as

well I also have a few zippers I am

throwing in it's just great to always

have some zippers on hand I got these

for a really good stock up price so I am

including some in the package then also

I am including something handmade

it is the Cheyenne rope bag that I made

a few months back this was a hugely

popular video and I have not actually

carried the bag yet and I thought you

know what instead of this sitting in my

sewing room any longer I'm going to go

ahead and pass it on to the winner of

this giveaway so the Cheyenne rope bag

plus the pattern in case you want to

make your own or if you want to pass the

pattern on to someone else you know will

be in the giveaway I love love love the

fabric of this bag but it is just not

the kind of bag that I really carry I

tend to carry actually a backpack I

carry a ton of stuff around for my kids

and all that and then when I'm not

carrying a backpack I have a little

vintage leather purse that I carry so

I hope the winner gets some use out

of this bag and loves it the last thing

I have to show is something really fun

it's actually a book that my friend

wrote as this book right here it's

called Rook and Shadow by my friend

Angela Marshall she wrote this book um

it took her a few years to write it so

while we were in college together I got

to read the proof of it and then I've

read the finished book a few times and

you may notice that's me on the cover we

did a little photo shoot my last year of

college and it ended up being part of

her cover design so it's just really fun

that I have a book that I am the cover

model of so I have a few copies of the

book so I wanted to give one copy away

there's even a little bookmark and

what's really cool about this is the

cover designs has actually changed now

there is a new cover on the book so this

is one of the limited copies with the

original cover design so not that many

people have this version of the book so

yeah I hope whoever wins this loves are

reading it and yeah it's just even

though it's been a few years it is still

so fun that I am on the cover of a book

that I own

that will never cease to like make me

happy but anyway that is everything that

I have to show for the giveaway I of

course will throw in some more extras I

do that with everything I like to add in

a little extra things while I'm

packaging it up and all of that so I'm

sure there will be more things in the

box when you receive it but that's

everything that I have collected up so

far yeah I am so excited about this like

I said this is the biggest giveaway that

I've ever done so to enter the giveaway

you have to be subscribed to Whitney Ses

here on YouTube and also to my vlog

channel Whitney's Tiny Life that is

linked down below in the description box

then make sure to hit like on this video

and leave me a comment you can let me

know how you found my channel or how

long you've been watching my channel

just or your favorite video that I've

done or just anything encouraging that

is about my channel the giveaway is open

worldwide to everyone over the age of 18

and then in a couple weeks I will select

a winner from all of the eligible

comments and make a separate video

announcing the winner of the giveaway so

I did once you thank everyone again for

being subscribed to my channel and for

all of your support over the years it

means so much to me when I first started

posting videos nine years ago I never

ever expected that my channel would have

more than a hundred subscribers or a

thousand subscribers so to picture a

hundred thousand people who like my

content enough to hit that subscribe

button just means so so much to me and

I'm so thankful for every one of you it

is your kind comments and your shares

and likes and everything that keep me

encouraged and keep me wanting to make

sewing tutorials to share every single

week so that is it for today best of

luck to everyone who is entering in the

giveaway I cannot wait to see who wins

and to send out your package of goodies

to you and until next time happy sewing

Why Do You Always Talk About Transformation? - Two Minute Message - Duration: 2:00.

- Hey, everybody, Daniel Fusco here.

And welcome to today's Two-Minute Message.

I had someone just come to say to me recently,

"Pastor Daniel, why do you

"always talk about transformation?"

And it's true, I love talkin' about transformation.

It's one of my favorite topics and here's why.

Because we get to live one time this side of eternity,

and we can either just go through the motions,

or we can allow every single day to be a day

that God is transforming our lives.

Listen, I don't know about you.

I don't want to stay the way I've always been.

Every single moment is some data

that I can interpret and grow with.

And when I walk with Jesus,

because He is real,

He changes me as we're on the journey.

I love that about Jesus.

When He redeemed me everything didn't get fixed.

Everyday He's like, come on, let's do this

and I'm gonna change your life as we go.

And what I think is amazing about that

is not only does God want to transform my life,

but as I always like to say it

that transformed people transform people.

Really, what it is is God is transforming someone.

And then as God is transforming someone,

then God begins to transform others through their life.

See, it's not only about living personally.

Our culture is so self-centered

where it's all about me.

But really, the Bible teaches

that it's upwards about God,

and then God transforms me, you know, personally.

And then God transforms through me.

And then He allows me to live outward into this world.

And so God wants to transform you

so that you can be a transformational agent

in this world in His name.

And that changes everything,

'cause we begin with upward, inward, outward

every single day.

Now, here's what I want you to do first.

I want you to share this message,

because all of us God wants to transform.

And then He wants to change people's lives

through what He's doing in our lives.

And then in the comments section,

let's talk about the ways

that we sense God inviting us

to be transformational in our community, in our world.

God wants us all to be on mission with Him

and then that God is stirring each one of you

in different ways into different areas

where the world is at pain,

where it can be changed by people

who are being transformed by Jesus.

God bless you guys.

FAQ: Should I Buy Brown Maple Wood Furniture? - Duration: 2:06.

Is brown maple the right hardwood for me?

Let's look at some of the distinctives of brown maple wood.

Brown maple is not a type of tree.

Rather, it's the lumber taken from the heartwood: the center of maple trees.

Hard maple, by contrast, is sapwood taken from the outer section of the log.

Brown maple wood, like cherry, is one of the softer hardwoods.

It's very durable and great for many uses but may sustain dents and nicks slightly more

easily than walnut or oak furniture.

Your exploration of brown maple wood really begins with the grain pattern.

Brown maple is best known for variation, with quirky grain pattern and an irregular finish.

In a natural or light finish, you'll notice gray-green mineral streaking through the wood.

For this reason, we often recommend a darker finish on brown maple.

Additionally, it will take stain unpredictably, leaving some sections significantly darker

than others.

With much smoother grain than oak, brown maple is the best hardwood to paint.

If you're looking for brightly colored hardwood furniture, a white finish, or a distressed

painted look, brown maple is your best choice.

Depending on your hardware and finish, brown maple can fit any style, from contemporary

to traditional to country.

Brown maple is a popular wood type throughout the house, from dining to bedroom to living

room.

Brown maple and oak are almost always the least expensive hardwood options, so you can

get all the options and features of a quality hardwood piece at a better price point than

cherry or quarter sawn white oak.

Brown maple is popular for its stylistic flexibility, unique wood grain, and price point.

But it really comes down to your opinion of the grain and color variation.

So, is brown maple right for you?

We've given you the information.

What will you decide?

White Growths on Caterpillar? Parasitoid Wasps! | VIEWER QUESTION | Koaw Nature - Duration: 5:26.

So dace_88, one of Koaw Nature's viewers

and generous jaguar Patrons from Patreon,

sent me a question and some pictures.

"Hi. Today I was picking tomato worms off of my plants

in the garden and came across three worms

that had parasitic white eggs all over their body.

I assume these will eventually kill the worms for me.

Can you provide some more insight into the nature of this parasite?"

Well dace, you are definitely correct in that your hornworm has a parasite.

And I find this sort of parasitism to be fascinating,

so let's definitely clear up a few things for you.

[bumper music]

[upbeat music]

Firstly, to clarify for a bit of accuracy—

your tomato plants are in your garden

are not being eaten by tomato hornworms,

rather that is a tobacco hornworm you have there,

which, is also the tobacco hawk moth or Caronlina sphinx moth.

Both species of hornworm eat from the same family of plants,

thus a tomato hornworm can be found on a tobacco plant

and a tobacco hornworm on a tomato plant.

The two species look very similar

but you can tell the difference by looking at the horn and stripes.

The tobacco hornworm has a reddened horn

while tomato hornworms have a black or blue horn.

Also, the tobacco hornworm has seven diagonal white stripes

with black borders

while tomato hornworm has eight V-shaped white markings with no border.

But let's look at those interesting white objects

growing out of that fat green larva.

So those aren't eggs,

but they are cocoons of wasp larvae

that had been eggs

which hatched into larvae inside of the hornworm

developing within for about two weeks.

So that hornworm is a host for a parasite –

a parasitoid wasp to be more precise.

And what is unique about parasitoids from other parasites

is that they will kill their hosts

or at least render them sterile.

There are thousands upon thousands of parasitoid wasp species

that specialize upon different insect orders.

There are two main strategies for this parasitism –

an endoparasitic type

where the parasite develops inside the host,

letting that host continue to feed and live for a period of time—

and an ectoparasitic type,

where the host is paralyzed immediately.

The moth larva infected here

has been parasitized by an endoparasitic type,

that is, within its body,

by what is likely the species of wasp (Cotesia congregata),

from a family of parasitic wasps known as braconids.

But what is utterly fascinating about this parasitism,

is that these parasitoid wasps have coevolved with certain viruses

that are injected along with the eggs inside of the host—

a mutualistic symbiosis existing for tens of millions of years.

These viruses are known as polydnaviruses

and are integrated within the wasps' genome;

[upbeat music]

when injected, a polydnavirus works to

protect the eggs and larvae from immune suppression

by the host's hemocytes.

A venom is also injected

that works to enhance the effects of any virus injected.

The parasitic eggs will hatch within a couple of days

and undergo two molts within the hemocoel,

or the body cavity containing all the blood cells and other interstitial fluids,

all the while that parasitoid is feeding off of the nutrients

provided by the host that is still alive and feeding,

which, in dace_88's case, is the foliage of a tomato plant.

The hornworm will continue feeding

until about a day before the larvae emerge.

Then the larvae will form those white cotton-candy looking cocoons

from which adult wasps will depart roughly a week later—

seeking to once again find a host to parasitize.

So if you care about your tomato plants in your garden,

you might as well just leave those parasitized hornworms

where they are as nature will take its course.

And those wasps emerge from those cocoons.

And those hornworms won't pupate,

that is, they won't become moths and lay eggs.

So you have a natural pesticide going for ya.

And I mean overall when you think about it—it is a gruesome occurrence.

Even Charles Darwin found this to be quite disturbing

as he wrote in a passage about a different

but very similar family of parasitoid wasps.

"There seems to me too much misery in the world.

I cannot persuade myself

that a beneficent and omnipotent God

would have designedly created the Ichneumonidae

with the express intention of their feeding

within the living bodies of caterpillars." - Darwin

Yes Charles, that is a little messed up

but that's life.

And thanks again to dace_88

for posting that question and sending me those pictures.

Good luck with your garden!

And I'm going to post another YouTube video

with some better footage of some actual wasps

parasitizing these hornworms that was taken in a lab.

So check that out if you're a bit more curious.

Spread some knowledge and be nature heroic!

Allison Hrabar's GoFundMe: Things Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com - Duration: 8:08.

Allison Hrabar's GoFundMe: Things Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com

Allison Hrabar is the State Department employee who lost her job after she was profiled in a video by James O'Keefe's Project Veritas.

Hrabar says that on September 24, when she showed up to work, security officers met her at the door and ordered her to pack up her belongings.

She says that she is now out of work and needs help covering her living expenses until she finds a new job.

Hrabar started a GoFundMe campaign on September 25.

the campaign has already surpassed its goal of seven thousand dollars.

Here's what you need to know:.

Hrabar Says She Was Fired in Retaliation for Protesting DHS Head Kirstjen Nielsen.

Hrabar is a spokesperson for the DC branch of the Democratic Socialists of America.

She was one of the people who organized the June 19 protest of Homeland Security chief Kirstjen Nielsen at a Mexican restaurant in Washington DC.

Hrabar says that after that protest, the State Department took a close look at her activities and investigated whether she was complying with the Hatch Act.

She says the office of the special counsel cleared her of any wrongdoing, and that her perfomance evaluations continued to be positive.

But Hrabar says that on September 18, she was told that her contract would not be renewed.

She says her contract was set to expire on October 2, which should have been her last day.

But she says that on September 24, she was ordered to pack up her belongings and leave.

Hrabar Told Project Veritas That She Couldn't Really Get Fired.

Hrabar, a paralegal at the Department of Justice, was featured in the second video in a series by Project Veritas.

Project Veritas is a series produced by James O'Keefe, the journalist who first came to national attention when he made an undercover video about Acorn.

Project Veritas spoke to Hrabar as she prepared for a Democratic Socialists of America protest in a DC church.

You can watch the full video here.

Hrabar said to Project Veritas, "what's kind of lucky is at the DOJ, we can't really be fired.".

After the video appeared, the Department of Justice announced it was investigating Hrabar's activities.

Hrabar May Have Used Government Resources to Target a DC Lobbyist for Protest.

Hrabar says that she was fired in retaliation for protesting against Kirstjen Nielsen.

But in fact, she may have been fired for misusing government resources.

Hrabar organized a protest in April on the home of a DC lobbyist named Jeremy Wiley.

Wiley works as a lobbyist for the private prison company CoreCivic.

You can read more about the protest here.

Hrabar said she found Jeremy Wiley's home by running his license plate.

Her colleague, Natarajan Subramanian, later confirmed that she most likely used her work Lexis-Nexus account to gather information about Jeremy Wiley; he said that Hrabar probably often used Lexis-Nexus and other work resources for her activities at the Democratic Socialists of America.

Hrabar Says She Wants to Use Her GoFundMe Money to 'Fight Back' After Losing Her Job.

Hrabar initially said she was trying to earn $7,000 with her GoFundMe page.

As of Tuesday afternoon, just five hours after Hrabar put up the page, it had already raised over $8,000.

Hrabar said she needed money to help pay her medical costs, which she said were very high.

Without her job at the Justice Department, she no longer has medical insurance.

And she said she needs money to pay her cost of living expenses while she looks for a new job.

But she also said that she needs money to "cover the legal fees needed to fight back.".

It was not quite clear what Hrabar meant by fighting back — it's not clear whether she wants to mount a legal challenge over being fired from the department of justice.

Hrabar says that if she has any money left over, she will donate it to the MDC DSA migrant justice legal fund.

Hrabar Is Getting a Lot of Angry Comments on Her GoFundMe Page.

Hrabar's GoFundMe page is trending, and it's getting a lot of attention — both positive and negative attention.

She has plenty of supporters donating money and pledging their emotional support.

But she also has plenty of detractors who were angered by some of the comments she made on the Project Veritas video.

"Allison, your leadership skills are inspirational, and it's clearly driving conservatives crazy that you already surpassed your fundraising goal :) Keep doing what you're doing, we're behind you every step of the way!" one supporter wrote.

Another person wrote, "You were fired because you did not do your job at work.

One commenter called her a "grifter." Another wrote, "Good luck finding your next job … may be try next door McDonalds.

they need folks.".

Stephen Kantrowitz: Things Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com - Duration: 11:12.

Stephen Kantrowitz: Things Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com

Steve Kantrowitz was a classmate of Brett Kavanaugh's at Yale.

On September 25, Kantrowitz tweeted that Kavanaugh had talked to him about his sexual history while they were both freshmen at Yale.

Kantrowitz didn't go into any detail, but he implied that Kavanaugh had boasted to him about possible sexual exploits.

If true, this would contradict Kavanaugh's statement to Fox News that he was a virgin in high school and for many years after high school.

Katrowitz wrote,.

"Perhaps Brett Kavanaugh was a virgin for many years after high school.

But he claimed otherwise in a conversation with me during our freshman year in Lawrance Hall at Yale, in the living room of my suite.".

Here's what you need to know about Stephen Kantrowitz:.

Kantrowitz Said Kavanaugh Told Him All About His Experience Losing His Virginity.

Kantrowitz has said he doesn't want to say much about his decades-ago conversation with Kavanaugh, when both men were freshmen.

But he told a Law and Crime reporter that he "felt compelled" to say something after watching Kavanaugh tell Fox News that he had been a virgin for many years after high school.

Kantrowitz said he feels it's important for a Supreme Court justice to be honest, which is why he came forward with his story.

Kantrowitz told Law and Crime that Kavanaugh had described to him how he lost his virginity.

Here is Kantrowitz's statement about Kavanaugh, as sent to Law and Crime:.

"I felt compelled to reveal a private conversation I had with a classmate in our freshman year at Yale because of the tremendous importance of honesty and integrity to serving as a Justice of the Supreme Court.

My conversation with Brett Kavanaugh raises doubt about a statement he made on September 24 on national television.

Contrary to his assertion that he remained a virgin "for many years" after high school, during our freshman year he described losing his virginity.

I remember this distinctly because it was the first time I had had such a conversation with an acquaintance who was not a friend.

I have no first-hand knowledge of any of the allegations against Judge Kavanaugh, but I thought this conversation was relevant as it goes to the question of his truthfulness.".

Kantrowitz Is an Award-Winning History Professor Who Writes About the History of the White Supremacy Movement.

Kantrowitz is a professor at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, where he teaches graduate and undergraduate classes on 19th century American history.

He describes himself as " a historian of race, politics, and citizenship in the nineteenth-century United States" and says that he is especially interested in the Civil War.

Kantrowitz has written a number of books about the evolution of race relations and white supremacy movements in 19th century America.

His other scholarly focus is on American Indian studies, and he has researched the changing position of Native Americans in America in the 19th century.

Kantrowitz holds a PhD and an MA from Princeton, and a BA from Yale.

He has won several teaching awards, including a Chancellor's Award for Distinguished Teaching (2001) and the UW-Madison History Organization "Instructor of the Year" (2010).

Kantrowitz Said He and Kavanaugh Were Not Friends.

In a statement released this afternoon, Kantrowitz described Kavanaugh as "an acquaintance, not a friend." The two were freshmen at Yale at the same time, and they knew each other.

Kantrowitz says that the two of them were never friends, really.

He says that's why he was so surprised when Kavanaugh opened up to him about his experience losing his virginity.

Here is Kantrowitz's statement:.

Kantrowitz Has Been Following the Kavanaugh Nomination Process Very, Very Closely.

Like many Americans, Kantrowitz appears to have been watching the Kavanaugh nomination process very closely indeed.

His twitter feed is full of tweets and retweets about the ins and outs of the Kavanaugh news cycle.

Kantrowitz has been tweeting critically about Republican support for Kavanaugh.

He has called out former president George W Bush for supporting Kavanaugh.

He has also criticized ordinary Republicans for — he says — living in a sort of dream world in which they can't tell the difference between what's real and what is imaginary.

Kantrowitz tweeted about the so-called "doppelganger" theory, a theory which said that Christine Ford had mis-identified Kavanaugh and that in fact, it was a different, but similar-looking man who had tried to assault her.

Kantrowitz wrote about this theory, saying, "The Kavanaugh-doppelganger thread unintentionally suggests an alternate theory: even the "adults" in today's GOP can no longer distinguish truth from lies from batshit crazy.".

Kantrowitz Says He Doesn't Want to Comment on the Case Any Further.

Kantrowitz doesn't want to do a sit-down interview about his relationship with Kavanaugh; he doesn't want to be bombarded by reporters asking him lots of questions about his time at Yale with the Supreme Court nominee.

Kantrowitz says that, in fact, he doesn't want to comment on the case any more.

Hours after his explosive tweet about Kavanaugh, when reporters had been hounding him for more information, Kantrowitz finally released a statement.

The end of that statement was very clear.

He wrote, "I will not be commenting further.

Thank you.".

Here is the rest of that statement:.

Sellers: What You Need to Know About the Market Right Now - Duration: 2:48.

I'm Katie Clancy, CEO of The Cape House at William Raveis, and you are watching The

Cape House Show, where we give you the tips, tools, and sense of humor

you're gonna need to get through the biggest transaction of your life.

Today we're talking market shifts. We have been enjoying a robust seller's

market for a very long time. This seller's market is driven

partly by the economy - things are pretty good - but also by a lack of

inventory. When there's a lack of inventory, sellers are kind of in the

driver's seat. However, we are noticing a shift right

now. For the first time in I can't remember how long, we've actually had to

start doing price drops on some of our properties, and that is not something we

are used to. This is a reflection of a little bit of a fussier buyer population.

Some of them are kind of burnt out; they've been shopping for a long time

and they're like, "You know what? We waited this long. We'll wait some more. We want

the right house at the right price." So, it's not just that we

lack inventory. We lack the inventory that people are looking for. What is on

the market right now largely are just a little

bit left of center. They might have some "hair" on it, if you will. For example, you've got

to do a septic on it, or it's got a funky layout that people just

don't get, or it needs work. That's like the kiss of death: it needs work. Not too

many people are looking for houses that need work. And if they are, they're

looking for a deep discount, and that's just the way it is. So, sellers, if you

have a house that is a little left of center, my advice to you is to correct

any flaws that you can in the house. Leave as little as possible

for the buyer to deal with. Now, if you're not in a financial position to do it all,

it's gonna have to give somewhere. You're probably going to

have to lower the price on that house because buyers just aren't going for it.

If there's work to be done, they're looking for a real deal on it.

So there's my advice for you, sellers, the market has shifted, you need to respond,

or you will be sitting for a long time. And if you've already got a couple

of strikes against you, in terms of inspection issues or weird

layouts, don't add on to that the stigma of being on the market for a long time.

That's kind of a kiss of death. Take your lumps as early

as you can, and get it done. Alright - that's it for today! If you want to see

more, or hear more, come see us at thecapehouseteam.com

Why the Best Revenge is Living Well - Duration: 2:34.

The best revenge is living well this is the advice my bestie from law school Nicole gave

me many many many years ago when I was in the thick of heartache after a breakup with

a boyfriend I was just devastated I was so upset you know when your heart is just aching

in pain because you wanted to be with the person for the rest of your life and it didn't

work out and because I was hurting I wanted him to hurt I wanted to make sure that he

was feeling the same pain I was feeling because I was just so beside myself and I told my

girl Nicole this and she said to me in response the best revenge is living well and these

words of advice were priceless because it really helped to become a mantra a way of

living for me in my life going forward after that whether it's a breakup with a lover

a friend a family member or a colleague when we (sigh) put our time and attention and our

energy into worrying about how they're thinking or how they're feeling we essentially give

away our power we give the other person our power and we end up being in a ghost relationship

because the person's no longer in our life but we're still dating our ghost and so

instead of worrying about how the other person is feeling and where their energy is at instead

in a breakup focus on yourself do your best to live your best to be your best which means

cultivating self-love spending time with yourself doing the deep self-help work that it takes

to heal woundedness and to feel more authentic and to feel more vulnerable and to live our

best so after today what will you do to be your best to live your best in moments of

heartache whether that breakup is with a friend a lover colleague or someone else in order

to thrive I'd love to hear from you comment below DM me or if you're watching on YouTube

These 3 Fatal Habits Are Keeping You From Getting A Girlfriend - Duration: 5:42.

Tripp Kramer here from www.trippadvice.com. There are some

things that you are doing that are completely preventing you from getting a

girlfriend. If you want a girlfriend then you better pay attention here

because these are things that if you can fix and tweak, it is going to

significantly increase your chances of being able to attract women and get the

girlfriend that you desire. Let's start from the very beginning.

Like before you even talk to a girl what is the one habit that is killing your

chances? Well you are probably in a very powerful bad habit that is

preventing you from meeting girls because you're not going out to meet girls.

What the habit is is trying to completely stay to yourself, never talk

to another human human being, never talk to a stranger, not trying to chat up

anyone around you and not being social. This is a habit that a lot of people have.

When they leave the house, they're really in their own mind, they want to

ignore and avoid everyone else and this is causing you to weaken your social

muscle. You have a social muscle that needs to be strengthened and the

only way to do that is by talking to people. Specifically in this case

more girls. It's very easy to go out and not pay attention to anyone else and so

what happens is you get more and more nervous. It's like you're building up

this big big nervous energy because you're not getting used to talking to

strangers so you're never gonna meet any girls. Yeah you could sit at home and

swipe and all that stuff but I'm guessing if you're watching this video

then that is not working out for you so if you want to be able to break this

habit, you need to go out more and make it a goal to talk to people who you

don't normally talk to you so when you finally get the chance and see that one

girl that you want to make conversation with, it's not gonna be as hard.

Another habit that I know all of you guys do because I hear you in the comments and I

see what you're saying, is that you're probably not flirting with a girl so

let's just say you are meeting women wherever.

Maybe at work, at class, maybe at bars, maybe through friends at parties.

All those wonderful places and your habit is you're not getting on a

flirtatious level with her. What happens? You get thrown into the

friendzone. Yes this is a habit. It's a habit of just

having normal kind of lame boring conversation without spicing it up.

You're a little bit nervous. You're afraid to get rejected so you don't say

anything that's gonna rock the boat. Trust me I get it. I was there once too.

It's really easy to just play it safe so you don't get rejected. You're in this

terrible habit of not escalating further in the conversation to a flirtatious

level to let her know that you're interested and therefore end up landing

in the friendzone. Number three; let's take this even further. Let's say that

you end up dating a girl, it's going well, you've been on a few dates and you guys have

already had sex. Maybe you're not the best in the bedroom so you are not

having what could be the optimal sexual experience with your woman and

if you're not good in bed and you guys aren't connecting on a sexual level.

Maybe she's not good in bed. Something's happening where there is a

disconnect. This is gonna prevent you guys from going further. This is gonna

prevent you guys from being in a relationship because that is more than

half of the relationship; the sexual connection. Well lucky for you, we're

gonna fix that because I have a blog post written by our famous sex coach

Caitlin V Neal. It is in the description and you'll learn there all about

how to be amazing in the bedroom. I'm also going to put two videos in the

description as well that's gonna help you with flirting. I know that a lot

of guys have that problem and I go deeper into that concept in there.

Check all that out down below but remember, keep this in mind, everything is

important when it comes to the mindset here. The mindset, these habits.

Remember, when you're out and about, chat up strangers. When you're finally

talking to a girl, don't forget to flirt. When you guys finally make

it to the bedroom, use some of the special techniques that you're gonna

learn in that blog post in the bedroom with her so again you're gonna have

that optimal experience for the both of you. This awareness is key. That's what's

gonna help you kill these bad habits and then put in good ones. Check those out

and I'll see you on the next video. If you're having trouble meeting hot

women in your town and getting them interested in you then listen up. I have

an undetectable way of getting girls instantly attracted to you even if

you're ugly, broke and live at home with your parents.

This system has worked for thousands of guys and it can work for you too.

I teach it in my program called Hooked where you'll also learn two behaviors

most men do that instantly destroys any attraction, my three-step friendzone

escape plan to reset her feelings for you and get her liking you, 30 different

pre-written texts to send a girl that make her want to meet up with you and

how to have unshakable confidence so you can approach any beautiful woman in any

place. If you want to learn this and how to get women hooked on you then go

to www.getherhooked.com. Again that's www.getherhooked.com.

Are You Programmed? Morning Conversations with Jim Self and Roxane Burnett - Duration: 9:23.

Jim I have this really great

story that happened the other day when I

was when I was going to the gym. Okay I'm

excited. Is this you excited. Yeah. We're in trouble. Yeah we've been in trouble for a long time. So

I eat pretty clean I mean I have my

occasional white crusty bread with lots

of butter on it but you know six days of

the week I eat really well. And I've

noticed just I'm sure this happens every

time I go to the gym but the other day

was when I really consciously noticed it.

So I'm going down Franklin and here's

all the box stores and the Pizza Hut's

and the -the good stuff -hamburger stuff just all of this

junk food and I'm driving and I was fine

before I wasn't the least bit hungry

when I left the house. I'm driving

down Franklin and suddenly I want a

hamburger I want pizza oh there's a

smoothie. It was it was so fascinating

that it -that you stopped and ate

everything on the street. That I'm watching

the programming happen. I'm seeing it

with my eyes somehow it's registering in

my brain and it's telling the body yeah

you want pizza. Yeah. It was so

fascinating. Yeah programming. Yeah

programming. And how many I mean I'm

sometimes pretty aware if people out

there on the street who are not aware of

that they get sucked in. Well it's it is

simply what is we've bought into the

whole formatting of advertising and

promotion and and it's it's basically

programming. So there's a mechanical

process to it that you see something

enough and you make a decision I would

like that. But some of these places I've

never even been into. Oh but no we're

talking all the way back to you were six

years old. It's the mechanism oh look I

want that oh look at that shirt I want

that oh red car I want that.

And it's the system that basically says

you should keep up with the Joneses in

the old days and you need to and this is

how you present yourself and if you

don't do it this way you won't be

accepted that way. So all of that becomes

programming whether it's on a sign or

Pizza Hut or whatever it is. Right. And that's a

lot of the stuff that it begins to be

hypnotic. Hypnotic yeah. Is it is it also

well maybe not addictive? Well a very

addictive but you get hypnotized -yeah -into I

want more -programming -you want more you need to

have this this is important to your

well-being. It just is it's not as it's

not it just is it's so fundamental in

this society as how we have been moved

into this aspect of life where we're

playing. And it starts out as you need

this and then you resist it or you

embrace it. But eventually it begins to

be this mantra every time you open your

eyes or drive down the street it's a

mantra. Eat me. You know it's just right

there. And that process begins to be

large across the foundation of you. It's

not just this topic or that topic. And a

lot of times you say I don't eat meat so

you don't you just block out all the

steak houses. But there's a lot of things

that you don't have an opinion about. I

don't resist this or I don't embrace

that. And that just begins to sit there

and repetitively in patterning not the

not this subject matter but the

better to patterning. It's been there all

their life it's just how this this life

has really been structured. And and

there's something we used to say we

haven't been saying this phrase for

years and it really applies here that if

you want to make a change I'm not gonna

get this tell tell me if I get this

right 96% of making any change is simply

being aware of the pickle that you're in.

Becoming aware and then three percent is

being amused at ah look at

what happened I wanted to eat this thing.

Yeah. And then 1% is simply doing

anything different. Just simply changing

it. The change everybody says it's so

hard to change. No. Change isn't the

hard part. It's 1%. Change is simply the

action so it's a matter of beginning to

recognize the programming and the

hypnotic nature of I need this. Or the

addictive nature of it also. And

and just starting to recognize do I

really need this and do I want this and

then there's a then really it is an

amusement with it it's like wow I've

been doing this and it the amusement

allows it to be fluid. And it's not a

beating yourself up. No clearly -or judging.

No it's because here I am

I'm becoming aware of being aware of

something I have been either

subconscious to or unaware of. Yeah. So

we're where we're playing where

everybody's playing here this transition

is about moving through this transition.

So be nice to yourself. There's gonna

there's lots of things where once you

realize I've been doing this some things

you could be absolutely horrified at and

or stop right there. The really big piece

is stay out of the oh I'm so bad. Yes. I

didn't do it right oh I'm so embarrassed.

No. Maybe but here you are what would you

like to do? And it's this exact minute

okay I'm going to choose not to do this

anymore.

Does this really support me? No. Allow

yourself to be conscious of it and then

make a choice in your choice you go get

white crusty bread. No but you beyond

that you're a much higher being now. I'm a much higher being. It's

you're now evolved. One of the

things I've started doing it with this

one trainer suggested this is when I

have that craving I write it down in my

notebook. I keep track of all my

exercises and everything I eat and when

I go to bed and all of that. And so what

I've noticed is that when I write down

juicy hamburger I circle it and then

it's kind of like I just okay I took

but it's now on the shelf -yep -and it

goes away. Yeah. And then I allow myself

allow myself I indulge and enjoy on

Sundays one of those things I craved and

had circled during the week but what's

happening is I get to Sunday and that

doesn't interest me. Yeah. It's almost

like by writing it down circling it it's

like okay you're taking care of. Allowing

it. Allowing it. Oh no judgment. And no resistance. Oh yeah

I want a piece of pizza this Sunday. Yeah and

don't resist it or I'm bad. By Sunday it's ---

Yeah so a lot of times you become aware

of something if you think about it it's

like okay I'm not going to do this

anymore

and almost before you get that word out

of your mouth you just forgot that you

were saying that. And you you walk away

and you go back and you pick it up and

you eat it it's like wait I just said I

was going to stop that. So the mechanism

for engaging is something where the

awareness and the decision doesn't

really get anchored so you're writing it

down and beginning to notice

oh I've written this down four times and

I really don't want it. Yeah. That begins to be

the decision that begins to be the point

of change. It's like you're you get

de-charged from it. That's what it was it was

de-charged. Yeah. The attraction was no longer on

it when I wrote it down. Yeah yeah. It's good. There's some unconscious belief

that this is of value to me so when you

go right back to the fundamentals where

we started this system the society says

you must consume. And here's the best of

the best. Well who said that? You know and

will do -we should do another one of

these and do it on facts you know what

are the facts is that really how does

the facts work? Yeah. What its truth in this

context? But in this case the programming

you needed -yeah is becomes very

addictive in itself to the game. So I'm

happy you're all done with white crusty

bread. I didn't say that I said hamburgers and pizza. Oh I see.

Except on Sundays. Yeah. But this is this

is a this is another one of those pieces

how do I become conscious of being

conscious? Yes. And then aware of being aware

and then the part is 96% I'm aware get

amused at yourself.

Allow it. Don't push against it change

happens relatively easy in that space.

Yes. Well I'm excited for you. We'll come

back next week and see how you're doing.

nice what's going on guys welcome back I'm here in Chicago

technically Schaumburg Illinois but it's a suburb of Chicago I'm here for Andrew

and Leslie's wedding I actually just came from the wedding ceremony it was

great it's beautiful they literally flew here this morning and went straight to

the airport to the church I had to stop somewhere in the middle to change real

quick that was interesting a grown man trying to change in the back

of a Nissan Sentra it's not cool first of all this room is amazing

how about this whole open area in my room that's like just right for a

breakdance battle you know what I'm saying we'll see where the night takes

us the cool part when I was here I was talking to a few my cousin they have

been watching these videos and they're asked me some questions about what I do

and why I do it and I just enjoy the process of making videos so that's

number one but then it also helps me grow as well because being over to

Hannah's social situations being in front of a group when presenting and

doing these things has never been my strong suit but now that I'm putting

myself on camera everyday and then publishing it on the internet it all of

a sudden makes of those situations a little bit less scary for me and that in

itself is very cool oh by the way I have to say Andrew Lesley I appreciate the

gift bag and this popcorn you can't even see it look I was gonna be like look but

there's none there because I'm eating it all but this combination right here

cheddar popcorn and caramel popcorn it doesn't look like it would be good but

oh my god it's amazing thank you very much it's delicious

Clemmie look I started eating popcorn I can't even do my video and the point

that I wanted to make is all those personal things are definitely important

but anytime you're doing something that's difficult or doing something that

takes a lot of energy or takes a lot of time and effort it's important to also

see real progress in what you're doing in order to help keep you going in order

to help keep you motivate and so one of those things for me has been the YouTube

creator monthly summary so I've looked at my monthly summary for the past three

months and what I've seen is extreme amount of growth and watch time views

subscribers even though I'm still pretty low the growth rate is actually really

good and just in the past month or so on double

amount of subscribers that I had beside the numbers matter it's not like I'm

trying to hit a certain number it's fun to be able to see that the more that I

post as my content hopefully is getting better more people are watching and more

people are interested in it it helps to keep you going it helps to keep you

motivated on those days when all your interpersonal motivation just isn't

quite enough look at this floor right here I'm just gonna break in a spot of

no letters oh look at this light I'm in the bathroom my hotel room and it has

like this most amazing light it's like the soft warm light and it just happens

to be in the bathroom so that means that it didn't have to make a bathroom video

wait a video in the bathroom not a bathroom video just to be clear video in

the bathroom I don't know that that makes it better

actually you know what I'm kind of rambling but ultimately it's fun to be

able to build something from the beginning and just kind of watch it grow

when I think about you too I think that that's really one of the most powerful

things about it is you can truly just be yourself or you can truly just be the

thing that you want to be and put it out there and other people will find it and

resonate with it and it may happen slower than some it may happen on a

longer timeline and some the reason why it's great is that it means more people

are viewing and appreciating what I think is the real meat so anyway I have

got to get out of here to go to the reception I'm gonna be late I don't want

to be late you guys have a great day out there all I'm gonna leave you with is if

do something that you really enjoy and share with others and I think you'll be

surprised and energized when people appreciate the thing that you created

that you love so much I like that anyway so the next one life is short be

great Peace!
