Waching daily Sep 27 2018

all right so let's talk about the big debate between caloric restriction and

intamin fasting so there are many different types of intamin flossing

which you can do like not eating for 16 hours per day not eating for 20 hours

per day not eating for 22 hours per day you get the point

some people do alternative day fasting where they eat frequent meals one day

and fast the next there are many different ways to do it but what intamin

fasting is is basically intermittently not eating for at least 812 hours the

big debates between caloric restriction and intamin fasting is simple the people

on the instrument fasting side you could say claim that because intamin fasting

decreases your insulin levels this is going to increase fat loss more so than

eating the same amount of food and protein and eating more frequent meals

their logic is that eating more frequent meals causes more frequent spikes in the

hormone insulin and when insulin has increased fat lipolysis the release of

fat isn't able to occur so therefore eating less frequently even

if you're consuming the same amount of food is thus going to be better for fat

loss before I get into that debate specifically let's talk about how in

term the fasting does actually affect your hormones because not eating food

does have direct impacts on your hormones so the first thing that's going

to happen as I just mentioned is a decrease in insulin insulin is a hormone

released by beta cells in your pancreas and its role is basically to shuttle

glucose and amino acids into cells after you consume food so let's say you eat a

meal of rice chicken and broccoli insulin is going to increase in order to

shuffle the glucose from the rice and the chicken and the amino acids into

your cells so if you don't eat insulin isn't going to spike and your bodies are

going to be burning fat right you're going to be releasing fat from your

cells another hormonal change which has been shown to happen when you do

intimate fasting is an increase in human growth hormone which is responsible for

growth right and in the human body so this doesn't necessarily mean that

you're going to experience massive muscle growth because of the increase in

growth hormone when you fast but it's more like your response

mechanism to the lack of food to give you energy by mobilizing fat and

increasing glucose availability another thing you're going to see when you fast

as an increase in catecholamines there are certain catecholamines like norpro

nephron which are going to be released when the body is under the stress of

fasting and this can help to break down fat cells when you think about fasting

it and it makes sense the argument where people say it's better for fat loss

because if you have no energy coming in from food it makes sense that your body

would then turn to its own fat stores to increase fat loss this is what happens

when liver glycogen runs out your body is going to begin producing ketone

bodies like beta hydroxy butyrate and this happens because your body is

breaking down its own fat when it enters that state of ketosis after a certain

period of time of fasting how long this takes depends on a number of factors for

example if you exercise you're gonna deplete a liver glycogen quicker and

enter that same ketosis quicker but generally it's gonna happen from between

8 to 12 hours for most people that's why most of us are actually producing more

ketone bodies upon waking up because we've been fasting throughout the night

before we eat breakfast and break our fast breakfast another claim into how

intamin fasting may be better for fat loss is because of the effect that has

on our metabolism so for a long time there was a dogma that said that

frequent meals is going to boost your metabolism by sort of feeding the fire

right keeping your metabolism going however the research has shown this

isn't true at all and in fact some research but keep in mind it's very

preliminary shows that intimate fasting may slightly increase your metabolism by

between 3.6 to 14% short-term and then as you fast much longer right for

several days there's a down regulation in your metabolism to conserve energy

and increase your chances of survival but short-term fasting may slightly

increase your metabolism however it may not be significant enough to make any

sort of drastic increase in fat loss compared to someone eating the same

amount of food now when we actually turn to the evidence which compares total

caloric intake total protein intake and you have one group that's eating

frequently and one group that's doing insulin

fasting the research actually shows that it doesn't matter whether you're eating

two meals or six meals or eight meals if you're eating the same amount of

calories and protein then your fat loss is actually going to be the same over

time it doesn't matter whether you do one meal per day or ten mils per day if

calories and protein are the same you're going to get the same results

I mentioned protein because protein is important to control for because protein

is the most thermogenic food group all foods you know that have carbs fat and

protein are going to require energy to digest

however protein is the most thermogenic and it requires the most calories to

burn so you know if you have one person eating the same amount of calories but

really really high protein another person eating the same amount of

calories but really low protein the person eating more protein is going to

lose more fat because of that thermic effect of food so that's important to

keep in mind but basically meal timing is irrelevant or near irrelevant for

body composition as long as protein and calories are controlled form we've seen

this with controlled metabolic world studies of low carb diets just as a

comparison because carbohydrates out of all foods spike insulin the most of the

most insulin or genic so the hypothesis here is the same for a ketogenic diet if

you lower carbs low enough you're not gonna be sparking insulin and therefore

you're going to increase fat loss but we saw in the study when every factor was

controlled for as well as possible both the ketogenic group and the standard

American diet group lost 1.1 pounds of fat the exact same amount of a fat over

one month even though one group had much higher insulin level so this in itself

makes it very clear that you know insulin is important right when insulin

is increased lipolysis is inhibited however if you're eating the same amount

of calories in protein it doesn't really matter you know you eat a big meal you

have a big insulin spike you eat smaller meals you have small insulin spikes but

as long as the total amount of calories are the same then that loss isn't going

to be different between one person or the other now I'm a big fan of intimate

fasting so I don't want this video to seem like I'm ripping into it but the

truth is that intimate or fasting works because of how it can help you decrease

your appetite and better manage your calories puts

simply it's much harder to overeat calories if you're only consuming two

meals per day in comparison to six you just have a lower chance of over

consuming food another reason is because in termina fasting and may decrease your

appetite when the liver glycogen is depleted and you begin to produce ketone

bodies and you enter that safe ketosis there is some preliminary research which

shows that your appetite may be reduced so this may be another reason why in

some enforcing helps to reduce your appetite and help you consume less it's

just harder to eat more food when you're doing intermittent fasting so that's why

people get such quick and amazing results when they only eat once per day

it has nothing to do with insulin the other cool thing is that intimate

fasting does have some potential health benefits even when calories in protein a

control for like decreased inflammation increased brain derived neurotrophic

factor BDNF increased mitochondrial biogenesis there's a lot of animal and

human research looking into the potential you know anti-aging benefits

of intamin fasting so it's definitely worth doing if you enjoy it and it helps

you get results but it's definitely not required to get to where you want to be

in terms of your body composition so that's it to conclude for the video

doing summon fasting if you want don't do intamin fasting if you don't want but

if you do it don't expect magical results if you overeat when you fast

you're still not going to lose weight regardless of what anybody says about

the scary insulin okay so stop overthinking about insulin and think

more about the total amount of you do you're consuming and the type of food

that you're consuming because that's what matters if you want to check out

another video I've made on whether training in a fasted state is better

than I urge you to click in the link in the description to watch that video and

learn more about where the fasted cardio that's gonna help you lose fat faster so

until next time guys I'll see you in the next video have a great day and leave

your thoughts in the comment section down below

Homemade Spiced Iced Tea - Duration: 10:24.

the cool thing is you can make these

things like it rubs off on your finger a

little bit so not so much the big color

but the scent so now it's my smell like

yeah it's gonna smell like Canella or

cinnamon for the rest of the day

gotcha we are another Conte and it's hot

it's September right now and it's still

hot whoo when we're sweating what's good

to drink and refreshing hmm

okay so that's what we're gonna be

making that so for those of you who want

the recipe and just to move on here you

go one tablespoon of black tea one

tablespoon of red T 1 tablespoon of

cardamon like 8 or 9 little buddies 2

star anise or is it an ass's or ni and I

and we'll leave it at that

1 teaspoon of cloves 1 cinnamon stick

her personal favorite all this goes into

a liter of water brew it let's do it

if you're into that sort of thing you

can pour it over ice blend it or drink

it hot before it cools you know what I

spirit I think I feel like a glass of

iced tea right back

are you with me or what but we're done

here we go here we go we're gonna call

this Papa's famous ice tea yeah all

right sounds good

I know some of you obviously stumbled

upon this video hoping to find a

collaboration between legendary rapper

ice-t and even more legendary group

Spice Girls sorry to disappoint you but

you're not gonna find that content in

here for two reasons one because we're

talking about the refreshing beverage

iced tea mixed with some fine Indian

spices and two because when ginger left

the Spice Girls were never the same and

the collaboration would be pointless

anyway if you guys hear some

interference hear this we're gonna have

to deal with it because the ton of

airplanes going by there's some cars you

got dogs barking babies crying flies

buzzing this is a recipe for an Indian

hot tea which we modify a little bit we

make it for an iced tea because here

what's good about iced tea what do you

like about it

yes got a number of ingredients here

some typical Indian ingredients well if

we got them like a little bit at a time

from the store

what does it come in for like the

tiniest amount of spices this we got

some cloves right

but another typical plastic can here but

the good thing about this is that we're

just refilling it from the bulk store

because this is one of the best parts is

that all of these ingredients we can get

them in bulk okay so should we go get

some spices oh let's take a trip to the

spice store

ah don't break your other to look at

that so tell me team look at Jeff and

have you add ingredients to our Bowl

here's some red tea take a look at the

red key here's some black tea okay look

at that

look at those I love how they're open

yeah

what a clothes remind you of it smell

like Christmas to me you get back on

that cinnamon stage

okay here pardon me

and these guys I break them a little bit

before I put them in the pot and I feel

like maybe that's superstition but maybe

it opens it up and lets it that's the

spice seven eight

take a look at that start but she likes

the smell and the taste when it says it

tell me about that cinnamon stick the

flavor that it adds to the tea this is

gonna be your special stick now it goes

a long way

time to take the key to the kitchen and

start our bread

don't forget exactly you prefer a letter

T cut back on some of those tea leaves

if you like it a little bit stronger

than brew it a little bit longer it's

all about personal preference but never

get cheap on me with that card man I

love it all right yeah just add water

okay pick it up two hands

alright we got the water in here okay

we're gonna bring this to a light simmer

if you will

okay here we go

you got sweeten it up a little bit gotta

have a little bit of patenella well

shake and shake okay pop seven all right

now right you got it you got it you got

it a because that's the most important

job here we go here we go here we go yo

my bad you're right you're better for it

right get those TVs let's keep these

really open up I'm telling you it's

gotta say something in there I don't

know what when it says something it says

oh yeah it says your future it says you

are gonna get wet or you got way sorry

about that I feel terrible I really did

okay okay there's two ways that we can

prepare this right now

we can have it over ice or we can blend

it have it all mixed up how are you

gonna blend it oh that's right we need a

blender that work ice is arrived okay

okay

is with us every time you pull it out

the fridge give it a little shake though

because some of those tea leaves and

particles and the nice yummy spices

float down to the bottom boat down to

the bottom I think the word I'm looking

for it is sink to the bottom you like a

little bit of milk what all right

okay so the option option number one

we're gonna pour our teeth straight over

some ice

thank you very much thank you very much

Matt do the honors doing a little stir

you sir

you want the blender first right see you

for your eyes beep on c42 little milky

milk that's a mistake

oh man Oh what gonna straw another

minute all right okay well any final

thoughts thanks for watching

whenever you want to see our videos

again this is right don't forget Cheers

you

25 Things You Won't Believe Are Dirtier Than Your Toilet - Duration: 8:38.

There are a ton of objects in your home that can attract germs, dirt, bacteria, and dust,

and you may not believe what they are!

The bathroom is one of the first places that come to mind when you think of dirty spots,

but there are actually several less obvious places that are even dirtier.

I'm Mike with List25 and These are 25 Things You Won't Believe Are Dirtier Than Your Toilet!

25.

Ice A study of fast food restaurants in the US

found that 70% of the ice served had more bacteria than the toilet water.

This is because their ice machines aren't cleaned, creating a breeding ground for E.

coli.

Not to mention, some servers just scoop up the ice with your cup instead of using the

actual ice scoop.

This just adds to the bacteria.

24.

Restroom floors No real surprise here.

Public restrooms have about 2 million bacteria per square inch.

The average toilet seat has only 50 per square inch.

23.

Office desks The average desk has 400 times more bacteria

than a toilet.

That's because it contains several of the materials highlighted on this list: your phone

and keyboard along with your mouse, drinking mug, printer, etc.

22.

Keyboards Keyboards can have up to 200 times more bacteria

than a toilet seat, especially those being used by more than one person in a day.

The bacteria can linger for hours or even days after contact.

21.

Cellphones Our mobile devices can have 10 times more

bacteria than toilet seats...and they're always touching our faces and fingertips.

Would you wipe the inside of your toilet bowl with your cheek?

20.

Restaurant menus There are on average 100 times more bacteria

on restaurant menus than on restroom toilet seat.

What's worse is that they are touched by multiple people in a day between wait staff and customers

who carry bacteria and viruses on their hands.

19.

Chopping boards These babies actually have a lot more poop

smeared on them than your toilet does.

Raw meat apparently carries a very high level of fecal bacteria, and that meat usually ends

up on a cutting board at some point.

18.

Toothbrushes When you flush your toilet, the germs can

travel up to 6 feet and linger for up to 2 hours.

A lot of them end up on toothbrushes.

So how is your toilet cleaner than your brush if that's where the germs come from?

Stick around to find out!

17.

Carpets With 200,000 bacteria per square inch, carpets

are 4,000 times dirtier than a toilet seat.

Humans shed 1.5 million skin cells every hour which helps feed the bacteria living in carpets.

16.

Refrigerator Ironically, the reason why we refrigerate

food is to keep them from going bad, but in doing so, we can also be contaminating them

with E. coli and other bacteria.

Sometimes they are set too warm.

Sometimes they are the victims of leaks from raw meats.

Sometimes it's because they just haven't been cleaned regularly.

Whatever the reason, fridges should be kept cold and clean to avoid contamination.

15.

Reusable shopping bags When you pack your groceries in a reusable

shopping bag, you don't realize that the bacteria from the meats and other raw food products

are being left behind, including E. coli.

They also tend to sit in cars, and when it's warm out, the bacteria can multiply.

Worst of all, they aren't usually cleaned after use, so the germs just linger.

14.

TV remote control The remote control is known as the dirtiest

item in hotel rooms, and it's not much better at home.

When a number of people are handling the buttons, sometimes while eating, sometimes while sick,

all of the dirt and germs from that person's hand ends up on the remote, which is rarely

cleaned.

You might want to think about taking a Clorox wipe to your remotes the next time you clean.

13.

Door knobs There's a reason why germophobes won't touch

door knobs and handles with their bare hands.

Viruses love to linger on them, making them responsible for the spread of illness throughout

homes and offices.

12.

Light switch Light switches can have up to 217 bacteria

per square inch.

They are flipped on and off by hands that have touched a ton of dirty things before

it.

It's a great way to catch germs from others using the same switch as they are hardly ever

cleaned.

11.

Kitchen sink The kitchen sink holds raw meat, dirty dishes,

and germs from hands being cleaned in it.

As a result, it holds more fecal bacteria than a flushed toilet.

Experts recommend flushing it out after handling raw meat and wiping it down daily with disinfectant

wipes.

10.

Bathtub The area around the drain alone can have up

to 19,468 bacteria per square inch.

It seems counterproductive when you use the area to get clean.

9.

Pillow Dead skins cells, dust mites, fungal spores,

pollen, and other body secretions are all floating around in the place you stick your

head on at night.

(Sweet dreams!)

8.

Mattress Mattresses are a huge dust collector. Did

you know that after 10 years, your mattress will nearly double in weight thanks to the

number of dust mites and dust mite poop that it has collected?

7.

Pet food bowl The inside rim alone contains 2,110 bacteria

per square inch.

You clean your plates after eating.

Why not clean out your pet's?

6.

Money Bank notes can contain up to 200,000 bacteria.

It's a good idea to wash your hands directly after handling cash.

5.

Draperies Magnets for pet fur, mold, dander, debris,

and dust mites, drapes just sit there unsuspectingly soaking it all up.

If you have allergies especially, be sure to wash your drapes every once in awhile.

4.

Shower Heads You'd think the water coming out of the spigot

designed to clean your body would actually be clean, right?

Apparently, the warm, dark, moist insides of shower heads are perfect breeding grounds

for bacteria.

3.

Purses and Handbags Purses usually contain a multitude of dirty

items that you will find on this list, such as your phone, cash, and coins.

It's a good idea to clean out your bag regularly to keep the germs from accumulating.

2.

Kitchen sponges Sponges are notoriously the dirtiest thing

in the house.

With 10 million bacteria per square inch, your kitchen sponge is nearly a quarter of

a million times dirtier than your toilet seat.

Having absorbed the fecal matter of everything from humans to cows as well as a multitude

of other much more terrifying bacteria, we would highly recommend that you change your

sponge...like right now.

1.

So how is the toilet so clean?

It's pretty simple really...we actually clean the toilet.

Because we generally think of the toilet as being dirty, we clean it with all sorts of

chemicals.

Things that we touch with other parts of our body, though, are cleaned rarely, if at all.

Lume Deodorant: One Product, Multiple Uses - Duration: 1:06.

(upbeat music)

- Hey everybody.

I'm Doctor Shannon Klingman.

I am the CEO and inventor of Lume Deodorant.

Have you ever walked into an drugstore

and just seen the hundreds of products

that are available to control odor?

If you had to pick and choose which ones you need

for different parts of your body,

you might end up with three or four.

There's one for your underarms.

There's one for under your breasts.

There's ones for ball odor.

There's ones for feminine odor.

You're buying all these products to do one thing

and that one thing is control odor.

Odor happens everywhere on our body

and it's one reaction that leads to many different odors.

When bacteria consume bodily fluids, odor is the result.

So, why do we have to buy three or four products

that are targeted for different parts of our body

when there's one product that can do everything?

Lume is the one product that is able to target

the bacterial consumption of bodily fluids

like blood, semen, sweat and urine leaking.

We are one formula used many different ways.

Where'd you Lume today?

15 Things to do when you start selling on eBay - Duration: 15:48.

We're going to look at 15 things you should do or decide when you start

selling an eBay. eBay selling as a business, is no easy task. So please

consider all the points I have in this video, before it's too late.

So without further ado, let's get to it. The first point I have is, what items to

sell an eBay. And here, I always recommend that people start just by selling stuff

they already have. This way, all of your risk is minimal. So, you don't really have

to invest into anything. You just put the item on sale and just see how it goes.

And really, always be on the lookout for a niche. I know this might sound a little

bit cliche by now, but I have a little story to tell you. It's a story about how

I made about a hundred bucks just by doing something that most people

wouldn't do. So I live in a really warm area of the country and outside my

property I have bamboo growing. Once in a while, I have to go out and trim the

bamboo, so it doesn't really invade my backyard. And with that I was also

cutting the roots out of the ground. So then, I had all this bamboo lying

there, and I was thinking, well normally I would throw it out. And actually in all

the previous years I was doing that, I did throw it out. But this time I had a

little idea, and I just researched bamboo on eBay. And it turned out that this

stuff actually sells really well for all kinds of DIY community people. Pipe

makers, handles for bags, and so on. So people actually use bamboo roots to make

stuff and it actually has a price on eBay. Instead of throwing it out, I

packaged it up put up a couple of auctions. And I actually sold it and I

made a hundred bucks. And you should be doing the same thing. You probably have

more at hand than you think. Think of all the stuff you will be throwing away. Even

if it's as useless as sticks or roots, like it wasn't my case. Sometimes, some of

it might be useful for somebody else. I mean, think of the people that bought

those bamboo roots. The only reason they bought it, is they don't have access to

it. Yeah, you can't just go to some random store and buy bamboo roots. Very few

stores even have that, I guess. Just because it's such an unusual item. So

they have to actually rely on people like me to deliver it. Let's

go on to the next one: how much can you risk or invest. This will be important

later but you might as well start deciding about this now. It's like when

you go to a casino. The thing you should be doing is, before

you walk in you should decide what games you're gonna play and how much you're

willing to lose. It's the same thing with eBay. So for example some people might be

risk-averse by nature and they would never invest into a high-end

product and then try to sell on eBay. They would first maybe start off with

small items. All people are different. But you have to decide this before you

do it. Because if it's going to be one of those decisions you do as you go along,

it'll be just like a casino. You know, because the casino wins because they

depend on a lot of people making bad decisions as they go along. And you don't

want to be one of those people. The next one is how much time can you give. Really

look at your current schedule and see how much time you can give to eBay

without impacting anything else. So, for example, let's say every Saturday you

have family days maybe you take the kids out someplace; maybe you go out with your

friends. But it's something that you do every Saturday.

Well that means on Saturday you can't really devote any time to eBay. How

much spare evening time do you have? Think about all those things and pick

out the time that you can really devote to it. And the important part here is

this as soon as you start to sacrifice something, maybe subconsciously you'll

start blaming eBay for taking the time. And you don't want to be doing that

because that's just a recipe for you quitting eBay. Don't set yourself up for

that. So, let's continue to number four: think about pictures. Most people, while

they do read the description if it's short enough... Most people will not read

a description if it's super super long. If an item has like four pages of

description, do you really actually read it all?

No. But you always, always look at the pictures. So you should really think

about how you're going to be doing your own pictures. Do you have a camera? Do you

have a high-end cell phone that you can take pictures with? If you don't have any

of that, you should really invest a little bit of money into maybe a phone

or a cheap camera. Because you really need to take good pictures. Okay, so,

number five is get familiar with photo editing tools. The reason I have this

is that, this will really make you stand out in front of your competition. It

doesn't take long to learn this, but trust me the effect can be awesome. So,

I'll share a recent auction I made for a trophy that I got actually for free, so I was

selling it. And notice the picture. I think you have to agree, first of all

it's a great picture. But a couple of touch-ups in Photoshop, really put it

ahead. All I did was put in a little bit of additional contrast and suddenly the

the trophy really stands out. And while you might say "well maybe this is not so

critical", again I have to argue! When your listing is one of maybe 50 that a

person will see, the immediate reason they might even click on your listing, is

because of your picture. Number six is how are you going to handle bookkeeping.

The reason I have this is, you might as well start getting used to this when

you're just starting out. And not later on. So why do you need bookkeeping? The

main reason is taxes. Everybody has to pay them. And if you do enough business,

eventually you have to do that as well. Having good books will really helps out.

So, save all your checks. Download one of those free Excel templates, and just

write down your expenses and income. At the moment, when I'm making this video,

eBay will send you a 1099 form only if you cross this 200 items mark per year.

So maybe you won't immediately get it, but eventually, if you're successful

enough, you will get it. PayPal has a very similar 1099 form and they don't have an

item count but instead a value count. So, again, twenty thousand dollars a year

and then they're gonna send you a 1099. Watch these topics closely because these

can change just like that at any moment. You don't want to be caught by surprise.

That's the last thing you want. And one more thing that's good to keep in mind

is, PayPal hold your money for 21 days. This one is something I've seen many

many people get caught by surprise. If you check on eBay a guy named "Jehu

Garcia", he invested a ton of money, something like half a million dollars,

into batteries and he was gonna sell that out to people, maybe for a

small profit. And what happened to him was, PayPal had this 21 day holding

period that he really really disagreed with. And eventually his whole investment

just kind of fell through. I think, he managed to get like his money

back somehow. Maybe he sold it just by calling people and so on. So he stayed

away for PayPal. But this 21 day period that PayPal will always hold your money

on, might catch you by surprise. So if you're gonna sell like, I don't know, your

Rolex for $10,000 and then you're surprised that PayPal's holding your

money for 21 days... and then you're growing gray hairs because you're

worried everyday, whether or not they're actually going to give you that money...

You should really just know this in advance and not be surprised when that

happens. Let's continue. Number seven is your supplies. These are your boxes, poly

bags, bubble fillers, boxes, thank you cards. Where are you gonna get these things? Maybe

at the post office? Think about Home Depot, your local supermarket. You know what

you can do is, let's say you have a small local supermarket that you regularly

shop at. You can actually walk up to those people and ask for boxes. Because

they throw them out all the time and they might as well give them to you. You

know, I was on I was a stock boy in a supermarket once many years ago. And

actually, I was really glad to give people boxes, because that meant I didn't

have to worry about crushing them and sending them and packing them. Because

these normally get recycled... So I was actually more happy if people took them

instead of me having to do that extra work to handle them. So your local

supermarket could be a great source for just free boxes. Also, if you're moving,

check your local supermarket. They'll usually give you free boxes, even big

ones. And actually I also like to keep the boxes from the stuff I buy, and then

recycle it during shipping. Cost me zero, and works great. Let's go to number eight

and that's, set your goals and expectations. Without a goal, any kind of

goal or expectation of where you're going, it's not only true in eBay

but also in life: you're not really moving towards any target. So, for example,

let's say you start working out. And you don't have a goal? Usually you'll

just drop working out, because it's boring stuff. Working out is

boring. Nobody really likes it or enjoys it very much. It's only when people set a

goal, like for example I'm gonna lose ten pounds. And really work towards that

goal. That's when you're gonna actually meet that goal. But also set your goals

high enough there's a bit of a challenge but low enough that it's actually

attainable. Take Warren Buffett, if his goal 50 years ago was, I'm gonna become a

billionaire. Well he would have been sorely disappointed, because his goal

would have taken like 30 years to get to. Make her goal something like, I'm gonna

make a hundred dollars, and work towards that. Then when you cross this hundred

dollar mark, set your goal to a thousand dollars. I'm gonna make a thousand

dollars in the next two months from eBay.

And try and work towards that. And you'll find that if you progress that way,

eventually you'll be hitting your goals. And every time it's going to feel like

you're achieving something. Number nine, that's: research your prices and products

and keywords. This is really important. And a lot of people miss this. So,

research every single item you list. It's super important that you do it.

MarkSight.com offers free tools and also more advanced tools that are paid. You should be

doing all kinds of research. Check your prices, see how many similar items are

selling. See what your titles should be. See which keywords you should be using

in your titles. These all have an impact, and you should be researching this stuff

if you're serious. I have a lot of videos in my channel where I describe, for

example, keyword research or title research. Check them out, I'm sure they'll

be helpful for you. Let's go to number 10 and that's: how will it all fit in your

life? So let me tell you a quick story. A couple of weeks ago we had friends over

for dinner. And during dinner I got a message on my phone that an item was

sold. So I'm usually selling a lot of things but this just happened during

dinner, and to me this is all actually exciting. I'm like a little kid, I like it

a lot. So immediately, I felt compelled to tell everybody about it because you know,

I just made 20 bucks. And that just felt nice. But I look over and my wife seems a

little embarrassed... So that's not cool. If you're one of those people that feel

embarrassed that people find out that you're doing some business at eBay. Then

maybe selling stuff on eBay, maybe this is actually not for you, okay? It

should only bring you positive emotion I'm not negative emotion. Because if you

get negative about it all, eventually again, you'll just drop it. And you would

have wasted your time. Number 11 is: talk to your customers and learn from them.

This one is also really really important to do. And very few people put an

emphasis on this. Respond to every single question that a user sends you, even if

it's stupid. Just respond politely and honestly but also you're free to take

the initiative and talk to people after the sale. So, for example, ask them "hey, how

did you get your item? was it in good shape? is everything all right?". And you'll

find that this actually builds your trust ratings and increases the chance

that they give you positive feedback. And do try to genuinely help people. This way,

they will come back for more business in the future. Let's move

to number 12, and that's how will you stay motivated. So a friend or a partner

or anybody that you can do this along with, really really helps you out. I have

another video on my channel where I discuss some statistics where 92% of

people that were selling on eBay five years ago are no longer selling. So that

just gives you an idea. A lot of people will start up maybe they stay strong but

eventually they, most of them go away. So for me, my kids really helped. My kids

are still small and I like that somehow maybe they're getting a little bit of

entrepreneurial ideas even, sometimes. So, number thirteen is: what's your strategy?

is it short-term profits or long-term profits? How long are you willing to stay

with your merchandise before you let it go? How many do you want to sell? These

are all questions that you have to sort of answer for yourself before you start

really selling seriously. For me it's more long-term profits, so I'm definitely

okay with having merchandise stay around for a while. Maybe I put it in

the garage or whatever. But I find that this way, I get better profits. So, even if

an item has to go through maybe three or four cycles of being relisted, that's

okay for me, because that way I still get more money. For other people this might

not be okay and they would rather, let's say, get rid of it fast and move on to

something else fast. I'm more of a slow-paced seller, but everybody is

different. So you have to figure this out for yourself. Number 14 is, familiarize

yourself with eBay fees and paypal fees and shipping fees. This is super critical.

So there's a lot of things that go into this. But let me just give you the basics.

eBay will normally take at least 10% of your whole paid sum. And this is

something that a lot of people don't like, because they find this out too late.

Let's say you sold something for a hundred bucks, okay? And let's say, so that

person paid your $20 and shipping also. Well, guess what? eBay is even going to take

10% out of that shipping fee. Isn't that funny? Yeah, but they will do this. So they

will take 10% of the whole paid sum. Even with the shipping fees. PayPal also

takes three to four percent, closer to 3% of, again the whole sum. And

that means you're looking at 13% to 15% of loss just in all kinds of fees alone.

So you sell something for 100 bucks, you are going to end up with only 85. And

let's say you were thinking, all right I'm gonna buy this item and we sell it

on eBay. So I buy it for 80, I sell it for 100. Well you're only looking at a few

dollars of profit! So maybe it's not even worthwhile selling. More people than

you think really get caught on this. so whenever you're looking at selling

something, always consider that fifteen percent is just going to be taken by

these fees. And number fifteen is, avoid getting into the mass products or at

least in the beginning. You should only do this once you're guaranteed sales. And

that's because this is a super high competition area. You'll probably notice

a lot of videos on YouTube that talk about, you know, making ten grand in two

days by selling something on eBay or even on Shopify, or any other system.

Trust me, that's all nonsense. There's so much

competition in those areas that even if you do happen to make that kind of money

in a couple of days, it's equivalent to sort of winning the lottery.

Okay, so you got really really lucky there... So it only makes sense to really

do an investment after you've confirmed real demand. Let's go back to my trophy

example, okay? I can see that this trophy really has good demand, and if I had some

way to get more of these trophies I definitely would, except I don't. But

this is one of those areas that I might have gotten into. Unfortunately, I think

that if such a source actually existed, others would have caught on to this way

before me. So it's a super high competition area. Also don't think of the

Chinese as being really stupid. If they can see that they're taking an item and

you're just reselling the said item for double the profit. They'll just skip you,

very easily, and they'll sell it by themselves. I'm not saying that you

should never get into this, you should eventually. But this should be a very

calculated decision with a lot of data backing you up. And my final tip is, all

those 15 tips are actually interconnected. So, your risk appetite

should relate to what you're willing to sell and so on. If you're willing to

be super risky, maybe you can still try and sell fidget spinners. If you're more

conservative, you might try selling clothing for example. If you want to try

and sell expensive items, maybe you can get into luxury or electronics. But

normally, I would recommend to stay away from that. And the first things you

should be trying to sell is just stuff you already have. That's going to

minimize your risk and maximize your immediate reward. Thanks for

watching, and I'll see you in the next video!

Breaking News - FIFA 19 shows Cech renegotiating contract in protective helmet - Duration: 2:14.

Every so often, EA Sports' FIFA games serve up a memorable glitch that quickly becomes the talk of social media, and this year's version is no different

Somewhat bizarrely, FIFA 19 shows Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech renegotiating a new contract in his helmet - much to amusement of social media

Cech, of course, wears the protective headgear for matches following a nasty collision with Reading's Noel Hunt in 2006, yet has no need for it in the rest of his daily life

However, enter contract negotiations with the player on Career Mode and he can still be seen wearing the helmet

The amusing glitch was quickly picked up on by eagle-eyed one user, who saw his tweet go viral within minutes

One reply showed a close-up of Cech in his helmet on the game with the caption: 'When you know you have a hard night of drinking ahead of you with your buddies at the bar

' Another compared Cech's virtual agent to Prince Charles: 'And why is he negotiating with Prince Charles??' Some also bemoaned what they classed as lazy game development from makers EA Sports, who clearly only have one image of the goalkeeper

Speaking back in 2015, Cech admitted that the helmet is sometimes uncomfortable to wear during games

'I would be more confident if I had it off,' said Cech in 2015. 'If you like it or not, the helmet affects your surroundings

'You have your ears covered and it makes hearing worse. But the doctor has forbidden me to take off the helmet

If I did, I would not pay insurance.' FIFA 19 is due for release on September 28 in the UK

Wide Washi Idea for a Card - Altenew Release! - Duration: 4:58.

Hi it's Therese from Lostinpaper and today

I've got a card to share with you and

showing you just one way to use wide

washi tape now these are some of the new

release from Altenew and this is part

of a blog hop and also a giveaway so if

you're head to my blog through the

description link below then you can find

out how you can win look how awesome

these are this pink one is a pixel one

it's hard to see but I'm gonna have to

create something with this it's some

little squares all through it but today

I'm gonna use the tuxedo and what I

thought I'd do is kind of like create my

own cardstock pattern with this and I've

got a piece of the 110 Neenah card stock

and I'm literally just gonna adhere this

washi tape over top of the cardstock to

create my paper but you can see the

fight is real I didn't lay it down very well

I wasn't concentrating I just kind of

slapped it on but washi's very

forgiving although I did rip a little

bit of the paper in the corner there but

that's okay

I'll cover that up later that's one of

the good things about washi is you can

generally re-adhere but it is a bit

harder when it comes to the wide but I

think I saved it and I've got another

nine point nine meters left so wish me

luck alright so I'm cutting my panel

down just smaller than my card it's a

top fold card that I've got here I've

added some fun foam to the back and I'll

use some colored fun foam because as I've

told you I'm on a mission to use it and I have

a lot and this is a new to me set it's not

a new set but it's the floral fantasy

die collection and there is a stamp

that's similar and I do adore that but

I'd never got the dies so I'm really excited

to have these dies and they're so easy

to put together so that little notch just

where my right finger is right there you

pretty much just line that up on all

three layers there's only three layers

to this flower I've cut it out of some

beautiful Altenew card stocks and

I'll link them at my blog as well I'm

adding the matte medium to the back of

each of the layers so I did the middle

layer first and now that the top it

doesn't really matter what order you them in

well... you need the top layer

on the top and the middle layer in the middle but

you know I mean adhere them together in

Okay so all that's left to do now is to

put my card together see it told you a

really simple card today how cool is

that tuxedo washi who would have thought

that was washi tape I've got more plans

for this stuff I'm determined to use it

probably not the whole 10 meters this

week but I'll get close no I'm joking

10 meter this week all right so I fiddle

around my flowers a lot add adhesive and

glue dots add pop dots lots of leaves

and then it's time to add my sentiment I

did already have this sentiment die-cut

it's from the signature words die set there

is three sentiments in the set and I'm

addicted to this set at the moment and

it's probably because they are a nice

small sentiment but they look good on

everything and they're really pretty

font, so matte medium, stuck it on top and

it'll stick well on that washi and one

final thing is to cover up my little

bump in the cardstock with some new day

enamel dots and that's my finished

card for today don't forget to like this

video if you liked it and subscribe if

you haven't already to my channel and

head to my blog if you're here in

September 2018

you might win so until next time

happy papercrafting

bye

Self Sabotaging During Infertility | Why am I mad? - Duration: 11:18.

right to therapy and we had an interesting session and basically I

wanted to talk to her about I have been overspending and I've been overspending

probably since March

hi thanks for clicking on simply Tanika I am Tanika if you are new here welcome

hit that subscribe button let's hang out a while if you are returning welcome

back let's get those babies ladies good

morning fertility fam today is Thursday September 20th how are you as you can

see I'm suited and booted and about to hit the pavement feeling pretty good I

did go out and work out one last time after I talked to you guys last night I

got in about 30 minutes and then I got all my food and then my time so the

fasting is going great I took some water with two tablespoons of apple cider

vinegar before I came out and yeah I'm gonna hit it I'm also I was reading last

night and when you're doing intermittent fasting and during weight loss in

general your body is in detox mode because the fact that it's breaking down

has a lot of toxins in it and as it breaks down it releases it into your

bloodstream so to support that when I get back I'm gonna take to charcoal

pills before I head up because I adjusted my time yesterday so I think I

think I ate until 9:30 because I didn't have my first meal until 1:00 I was

gonna let myself do no that's not right 8:30 I was meant to be done I may not be

saying that right anyway there's supposed to be 12 to 8 so I think I

pushed it one to nine um I'm not gonna do that again like if I don't get my

food and I just don't get my food and I can't extend the time I have to do my

best to get those calories and and it's hard like I thought I was gonna be

starving but I felt totally full I did get my shake in which has a lot of

nutrients in it which I felt good about so it's a process is what I'm saying in

a long run I'm seeing the results in the mirror I'm

excited to do my photo day on Saturday to do my 360 and compare it to where I

started pray for me all right ladies I will talk

to you later I got to pick up the pace Hey ladies

all right I'm learning all kinds of late but look I got into this I didn't have

to squeeze in well kinda but I haven't worn it in proper official picture day

is Saturday where we do the before-and-after but way snatched okay

okay and how long is the procedure like what time would they need to pick me up

oh okay so I need to be there at 9:30 and they can pick me up by 11:00 okay

all right thank you okay bye-bye all right they called it's 405 they're

meant to call at 4:00 but anyway I'm fasting so that works out

and I just need to let blue know yay hey Pam how are you all right I have made it

home I have a procedure in the morning so I'm going to head out to Blues house

tonight I have to be there at 9:30 as you heard he's going to go with me the

whole time I told him he only had to come

eleven eleven thirty but he said he would go with me so that's cool

and of course team too much has scheduled a meet-up with well-known

media but I'm meeting a friend of mine to walk the George Washington Bridge she

saw the photos last Sunday and she was like I'll go with you

so I'm doing it tomorrow to kind of keep myself distracted before the procedure

so we're gonna meet up at 6:00 a.m. the only thing is I can't have water after

midnight either the fast thing I'm not worried about because I don't eat after

a certain time anyway the water is gonna be a little tricky and then you have to

give a urine sample well you guys heard the video she once said your pregnancy

does so anyway I am all geared up for that - wish me luck keep me in your

prayers I did want to say I didn't record it earlier but I went to therapy

and we had an interesting session and basically I wanted to talk to her about

I have been overspending and I've been overspending probably since March and so

just some I don't know there was like need to control there was some shame

associated with it there's a lot of things almost like I'm punishing myself

one thing about me I don't like to be in debt and now I've created a situation

where I am in debt and so it was just way heavy on me but the take away from

the therapy session was to you know remember to be good to myself and to

keep focusing on that and I have been like I've been doing the meditation I've

read some of them to you guys I've been doing visualization I've obviously been

working out and eating really well which also saves money cuz I'm cooking on my

own food but I know exactly what I'm putting in my body so I can't think of a

better way to take care of myself so it's like win-win has been saying

comfort America so I feel good about that but I did I did want to say like be

mindful if you're doing it anything in excess while you're TTC because I think

the emotions express themselves in other ways even if we're not saying what they

are and I think the overspending was like my

oceans expressing themselves you know before it was excessive drinking now

it's excessive spending and I think a little bit of me felt resentment because

I'm spending so much on TTC that it was like wool for the baby that's not even

here yet that I would like to spend a little of my money on me because I'm the

one who goes to work every day and I didn't buy anything like super

extravagant like I redid the house earlier and I added like the Google home

so throughout the house I can walk through and talk and turn on my TV or my

lights or whatever house which I really like but I didn't need it so those kind

of things like I was buying things to make myself feel good and it wasn't

necessarily the most healthy way to approach it so I would just suggest that

if you're doing things that are kind of out of the norm or in excess or to make

yourselves feel good take a look at it take a look at it because in the end it

doesn't you know what I did didn't help me feel better like at the moment it did

the impulse of it getting the stuff I'm packing it like redoing the house that

all felt great but now I'm paying the price of it and I have to figure out you

know how to cover it all and so that is just a little bit like that

yeah and ultimately I'm taking money away from the baby right it was just

like a little cruel trick that my mind was playing on me so I don't know do you

guys do that have you noticed that like you overspend or are you over eat I was

definitely over eating I was mad because I was like why should I lose weight I'm

gonna be part I'm gonna get a lot away I was bigger

than this when I got pregnant with Cheyenne like this isn't fair when I

went so I was only hurting myself like who you mad at girl we met I was the one

suffering what is that that Carrie Fisher said resentment is like

swallowing the poison and expecting the other person to die and I was building

up resentment against myself so why how else to express that that some sort of

some form of self harm which really is its like self sabotage which is crazy so

I did talk about that in therapy today I wanted to share that with you guys maybe

some of you guys have gone through it or going through it if you've gone through

it tell me how what you did to like recognize it and kind of like get it in

truck like I have a plan now so I'm good and helping like writing up the goals

was one of those things but I think I wasn't even being fully honest with

myself like I put on savings but I should have also put on stop spending

which I have done but that's a much more specific goal right when you're doing

SMART goals one is to stop spending and then two is to save and so because if

you are spending like crazy you really can't say if it's just like if you have

a bunch of credit card debt and your interest rate is ridiculous and then you

have $500 in the bank and savings that's gaining like 1.8 percent interest it's

not really a true savings because you have this debt on the other side and

that's what I did to myself myself out of that and I think I'm gonna

do like a consolidation I'm looking at either a consolidation debt

consolidation loan or some 0% interest credit card so I'm kind of moving it

around but ultimately there will be savings because the interest rate will

be lower then looking at the debt that I have been paying it off at the rate that

I've committed to pay it off it would be more so I'm looking to kind of look for

some saving opportunities there and then it doesn't help with TTC like tomorrow I

have the procedure I've got to pay extra $500 to be put to sleep which I'm like I

don't even know why insurance doesn't cover that if I have to be put to sleep

in this procedure that should be covered and maybe it is my insurance like the

clinic wasn't sure and I talked to one of my co-workers and she wasn't sure

either because she just had her procedure so she's not sure if it's been

covered or if she's getting a bill but like some of those things it's not like

a tooth work you could be awake when you get your two through like you're

removing parts of my uterine lining anyway

all right guys let's see this is what I get into with myself like I'm bitching

to who for what like none of that's gonna change deal with the facts come up

with the plan based on the facts and stop having this like BMW moment the

Jane moaning and whining like do with the facts the ego in me wants to have

this story in this drama and I've got to figure out how to squash that so that's

all but if you have had any incident like this please let me know that I am

NOT alone or if you're currently struggling with it um if you don't want

to put it below I know it's private send me an email

Tanika at simply Tanika calm and I'll hit you back and we can share war

stories love to hear how you got to the other

side if you did and if you're in the middle of the struggle we can

commiserate because that's where I am if you're in the beginning girl hit me up I

have some tips for you alright lady I will talk to you later bye baby does to

you
