Jakeem Grant Fantasy: Should You Start or Sit the Dolphins WR? | Heavy.com - Duration: 4:56.

Jakeem Grant Fantasy: Should You Start or Sit the Dolphins WR? | Heavy.com

The Miami Dolphins find themselves in a tough spot heading into a short week with a Thursday Night Football matchup with the Houston Texans ahead.

The Dolphins are dealing with multiple injuries at wideout, as both Kenny Stills and Albert Wilson will be out this week.

Miami is incredibly thin at the position and in turn, this makes for an interesting fantasy football situation.

While DeVante Parker is expected to see work (finally) alongside Danny Amendola, 5-foot-7 Jakeem Grant may be a big part of the team's offensive gameplan.

Grant is coming off a week in which he logged a large number of snaps and ran a season-high number of routes (30) while jumping up the depth chart.

Let's take a deeper dive into Grant as a potential fantasy option in Week 8, and evaluate whether he's a sit or start against the Texans.

Key Stats and Jakeem Grant's Fantasy Outlook.

I'll break down the matchup along with a few other key numbers that jump off the page for Grant and the Dolphins ahead of Week 8.

All information on fantasy points and statistics for defense vs.

position are from ESPN.

Houston Texans vs.

wide receivers in 2018: 91 receptions, 1,029 yards, six touchdowns (No.

8 fewest fantasy points per game) Grant played his highest percentage of snaps (70 percent) last week, per Football Outsiders (up from 40 percent in Week 6) In Dolphins' four wins, Grant has 12 catches for 167 yards and two touchdowns In Dolphins' three losses, Grant has four catches for 49 yards.

There's no question Grant is in line for an expanded role, but the baseline numbers on the Texans point to a tough matchup.

Fortunately, there's still reason for optimism about the 25-year-old this week in fantasy.

Should You Start or Sit Jakeem Grant?.

This is a painful spot to try to figure.

First, we have Dolphins quarterback Brock Osweiler facing his former coach in Bill O'Brien, who should almost certainly know how to shut him down.

But the Texans cornerbacks are painfully slow and Grant has blazing speed.

I can't recommend using him in 12-team leagues or smaller, but I'd be open in larger leagues.

If you play in a league with 14 or more teams and need a WR3 or flex, Grant is a fine option.

His big-play ability could very well come into play in this game.

We can't base this decision off his numbers (five catches for 64 yards in past two games), so it has to come down to expectations and his personal matchup.

Spanish grammar lesson 52. Future in Spanish.

Future in Spanish. In Spanish we can find two types of future times,

near future, We use the near future when we refer to short term future actions,

usually expressing plans that we have already decided to do almost:

To compose the near future you must use the present tense of the verb go

+ a + infinitive form. PRESENT TIME OF IR + A + INFINITIVE FORM

Example: let's go home. We will soon be back soon

2) Future time: this time can be used to refer to any

future short-term or future long term action but is mainly used:

1. when we refer to predictions, unplanned things.

Gemini: you will earn a lot of money. Tomorrow it will rain in all Spain.

I think there will be a nuclear catastrophe.

2. Normally these predictions are a long term: in the year 2050 people

will travel in flying cars. The structure of the future is very easy.

The only thing you have to do is use the infinitive form + future endings

Infinitive form +

é, as, á, emos, éis, án

Examples:

I will sing, you will sing, he/she/it will sing we will sing, you will, they will sing.

I will read, you will read, he/she/it will read, we will read, you will read, they will read

I will live, you will live, he/she/it will live, we will live, you will live, they will live.

Exceptions: there are also some exceptions in which you must use a

special form instead of the Infinite form:

say, fit, do, to be able to, put, have, have, come, want, go out,

worth, know. Root for the future: dir, cabr, har,

podr, pondr, habr, tendr, vendr, querr, saldr, valdr, sabr.

Brittany McNurlin: Things Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com

A Catholic University of America law student working in the schools law library called police on a black student who she found "argumentative" something she "didn't appreciate it.

Catholic University graduate student Juán-Pabló Gonźalez was trying to use the law library.

He's not a law student but said he had been given permission.

Law student and student library clerk Brittany McNurlin was not having it.

They went back and forth and ultimately, she called the police on Gonźalez.

Seven campus police officers show up.

Gonźalez told The Root that he's encountered racism on the campus before including "notes with the n-word being slipped under his dormitory room door and being questioned by campus police after someone reportedly called the cops on 'two suspicious black males' standing outside their dorm.

Gonźalez told The Root, "I'm not going to accept the racism that's on this campus.

I'm not going to be quiet, and I'm going to challenge it.".

He recorded his encounter with McNurlin, which has been dubbed 'studying while black.

Here's what you need to know:.

University Grad Student Gonźalez Begins Recording His Exchange With Student Librarian McNurlin Who Calls For Police.

Gonźalez is a masters degree-seeking student at the university and says as a library science grad student, he's permitted to use the law library.

The student librarian, McNurlin, questioned Gonźalez about access to the library she reminded him is reserved for law students.

He explains he was given permission by his school's dean to use the library.

They go back and forth.

Gonźalez gets upset at her attitude toward a fellow student trying to study and asks for more information, and asks for the name of her supervisor.

McNurlin becomes agitated and calls campus police.

Gonźalez tells her that calling police for a matter not criminal and saying that he was in no way menacing asked why she did that when it's not uncommon for tragic outcomes to follow calls to law enforcement on people of color doing ordinary things.

He asks her to just let him go study and call off the cops.

She refuses.

Seven campus police officers show up.

He records it all.

And ends up being booted.

Later, the university would say that what McNurlin needed was additional or re-training, when Gonźalez complained about the treatment he received, according to The Root.

McNurlin is a Law Student, Works in the Public Defender's Office & Attended a Seminar on Civility With SCOTUS Associate Justice Neil Gorsuch.

McNurlin attends Catholic University of America's law school.

She recently began an internship at the Alexandria (Virginia) Public Defender's Office according to reports and her LinkedIn profile (now deleted).

McNurlin has been involved in myriad activities from food drives to dog therapy day.

In October of 2017, she attended the National Conversation on Civility where she and a few other students met SCOTUS Associate Justice Neil Gorsuch on the "critically important issue of how lawyers and judges interact with one another in contemporary legal practice.

Law Fraternity Phi Alpha Delta Member & President of Students for Public Interest Law, McNurlin Called the MLK Day of Service an 'Important Aspect of Human Life' to Help Those in Need.

McNurlin is a member of Phi Alpha Delta, the nation's largest co-ed professional law fraternity with student members as well as lawyers, judges, and politicians.

The century-old fraternity's motto is philos adelphos dikaios, Love of Humanity and Justice for All.

She received the CUA Dean's Award as member of the frat.

According other CUA website, Students for Public Interest Law provides legal services in the public interest sector and organizes and participates in numerous community service and pro bono activities to provide students with experience in public interest law.

McNurlin is the group's' president.

It does an annual fundraiser to award stipends to students who take unpaid legal jobs during the summer.

Its silent auction is the big event and McNurlin is in charge.

McNurlin volunteered for the MLK Day of Service and said that she believes "it is an important aspect of human life to be able to provide any assistance we can to those who need it.

It was very heartening to see that there were people of all ages there and the willingness of people to give their time…" https://www.law.edu/2017-Spring/2017-0119-MLKDay.cfm.

She Did Pro Bono Work for Veterans & Did Spring Break Pro Bono Work For Immigrants Rights.

A press release from CUA announced McNurlin was a volunteer with the Veterans Consortium Pro Bono Program.

In it McNurlin was quoted at length.

"This summer I worked on a legal research project with the Veterans Consortium.

This was a two-part project.

The first part included going through a list of all of the cases that the Consortium has handled, going back to their inception in 1992, and looking at the outcomes of those cases.

I looked at what the original case was about, its decision, the final Federal Circuit Appeals decision, and party appeals.

For the second part of the project, I conducted a more in-depth analysis of the trend of the appellate decisions within the last five years.

This entailed going through the same process as the first part with a few additional steps.

I had to categorize the cases by types and outcomes, recognize the trend in judicial decisions, and report those back to the Veterans Consortium.

The Consortium is able to use that information to provide assistance to veterans during their appeals process," McNurlin said.

In 2017 she worked for a day at Capital Area Immigrants Rights Coalition, where she said, "as able to get a small picture of the people that are affected by the immigration laws in this country.

I was able to see a trend of people who came from Central America and some who claimed there was a fear to return due to gang violence involving themselves or a family member.".

[iKON 24] iKON - 아니라고 (I MISS YOU SO BAD) [iKONCERT IN SEOUL] Reaction and Review [ENG] - Duration: 6:07.

hi this is 24

what we gonna watch is

iKON's i miss you so bad

as I know is a 3rd track of WELCOMEBACK album

what this song is special about is that

GD participated on composing and lyrics

as I know is almost 8~9years that GD have not presented his song to other artists]

not the BIGBANG's song, is almost first out of 9 years that he gave his song to someone else

there's some words about is that

when GD was preparing bigbang's MADE album

this was the one that they were going to use

when they were recording, they had that mind that this song doesn't really match with them

so he gave it to iKON who was recording next door

though I say it that

when I first heard it, I was thinking this is kinda like Bigbang

and when I find it it was

for real

I'm not lying

if we look at this song's publicity and musically

eventhough is not quite a popular song that everyone could favor, still the song is very catchy

maybe is because GD was part of it

GD really does well on those writing skill that seperate from other producers

so we'll listen this song performed on iConcert stage

so we listened till the Bobby's rap start

as I told you guys before about Jin Hwan that

what should we say

he does have that up and down

but on this concert he did really well without up and down

generally was really clean

waht I want to tell is that

Chan Woo has that great high soft voice

but I think his strong point is his low tone

like there are a lot of soft voice in iKON

yun hyung, Dong hyuk and Chanwoo

I think these three have that soft voice

Jin Hwan is kinda different

so I think these three can do the soft vocal

In this three, I think Chanwoo has that charming low tone

in goodbye road he did vocal on intro, before chorus and bridge with low tone

BI really catched Chanwoo's charming point really well

yeah I think knew that cause they are in one team

anyway he really fits well

this song kinda has that trot like style

that really fitis well with iKON

the vocal that kinda scream

BI's part saying no

really matched well

now we'll listen to Bobby's rap

Bobby's rap is killing point in this song

so we finished listening

I'm have a doubt about that what YG has done for iKON but

sure thing is that they have a good superior

Many artists helped them on Mix and Matches

is a cool thing that as a senior artist they give song and advice to there junior

Seems like I always give compliment to YunHyung and Chanwoo

is sure that they are the one that have improved the most

the part where rap and vocal mix together

Seems like they really understand about there position as a sub vocal

they do it without standing out too much, do it really clean and nice

really gives a lot of plus on making the song more perfect

I knida sad about that the part for Donghyuk is bit less

it was good that Koo and Jin Hwan's scream like vocal really fit well with the song

is a special song cause is not from iKOn, other artist gave this song to them

it was good, and felt a bit like a cover song

I think it would be great that bigbang did this song

you can imagine that

this part is this artist

I'll not mention about 'him'

I wish this senior-juniour can do a song or stage together

call them on concert

that's my wish

everytime conclusion is like this but

Danny Amendola Fantasy: Should You Start or Sit the Dolphins WR? | Heavy.com - Duration: 5:11.

Danny Amendola Fantasy: Should You Start or Sit the Dolphins WR? | Heavy.com

The Miami Dolphins will begin the Week 8 NFL action with a Thursday Night Football matchup against the Houston Texans.

Unfortunately, they'll be without multiple wide receivers with Kenny Stills and Albert Wilson sidelined.

In turn, this makes for an interesting spot for the team's offense and specifically fantasy football players.

While the Dolphins have three intriguing options to consider using in fantasy, the one who's drawing major attention is Danny Amendola.

The former New England Patriots wide receiver has posted his best games of the season over the past two weeks.

In the stretch, Amendola has hauled in 14-of-18 targets for 143 yards and one touchdown.

It's worth noting that both games featured Brock Osweiler as the team's starting quarterback, and he'll get the nod again in Week 8.

The 32-year-old wideout has seen the most targets of any receiver with Osweiler at the helm, with the aforementioned Wilson second (12).

Let's take a look at the start-sit debate for Amendola and break down if he's worth using as a bye-week filler.

Key Stats and Danny Amendola's Fantasy Outlook.

I'll break down the matchup and a few other key numbers for Amendola and the Dolphins ahead of Week 8.

All information on fantasy points and statistics for defense vs.

position are from ESPN.

Houston Texans vs.

wide receivers in 2018: 91 receptions, 1,029 yards, six touchdowns (No.

8 fewest fantasy points per game) Amendola has played 96 and 98 percent of the offensive snaps over the past two weeks, per Football Outsiders Amendola's 18 targets from Osweiler are the most of any Dolphins player since the quarterback took over.

It became apparent right out of the gate that Osweiler is going to look Amendola's way early and often.

The matchup with the Texans is no walk in the park, but the receiver's projected targets and rapport with Osweiler leave him in strong consideration for fantasy owners.

Should You Start or Sit Danny Amendola?.

The high volume of targets is incredibly appealing from a fantasy perspective, and as long as this duo is on the field together, good things should happen.

The matchup also isn't so daunting that it scares me away from using receivers on the Dolphins.

One small area of concern for me is the fact that Texans coach Bill O'Brien knows Osweiler well from their terrible stretch together.

In turn, he almost certainly knows how to shut down his former signal caller.

Even if that does prove to be the case, I think Amendola's production and the comfort level Osweiler has with him keeps the wideout in play.

Tack on the lack of healthy receivers on the Dolphins and the veteran is in the mix as a flex play in 12-team point-per-reception leagues and a WR3 or flex option in 14-team leagues or larger.
