FROM Disneyland Paris TO PARIS by TRAIN and BACK! | HOW TO GET FROM PARIS TO DISNEYLAND PARIS - Duration: 12:27.

hey guys and today Elise is gonna do the introduction yeah it's time for me to

take these ears off because we're leaving Disneyland Paris park and

let's see what Paris is actually like it's been like a hundred year since

we've been there. Question is how do you get from Disneyland Paris to Paris

itself? Well, we're going to show you this today. So let's go!

oh this is a ticket machine it's very busy it's a very long line a few moments

later so we're in a different line wrong line so we're now in the real a shop

yeah well this is this doesn't say that it's one-way tickets only so I guess we

get can get the return tickets here I don't know why you looking for another

ticket machine so at this point we have been waiting for maybe half an hour or

45 minutes because people in front of us didn't know exactly what ticket they

wanted so it really is advisable to do your homework so you know exactly what

you need we choose fight zones as you can see because we want to take the

politic transport in city centre of Paris and we need those five zones to

get from RNA level 8 to the city centre of Paris Paris and the surrounding area

is divided into five circular zones so that explains why we need five zones for

this trip and well you just pay and you get your ticket saying you're good to go

so it's not really that difficult all you need is to find the right ticket

machine and you can start your Paris adventure we got

but from 1m platform to and the next one is in three minutes and then in 15

minutes so about every 10-15 minutes there's a train leaving to Paris I

always have to choose the sounds chairman always mine a to Paris century

man that's one into Paris

so we made it and we're already leaving

yeah when we saw it on the sign and when we got in it's about three minutes

before we got down to the platform so

it's something like an hour

aah to Paris

the Parisian flower market eventually and here it is not to them squatter

crowd yeah it's a tourist trap it's official how much of a tourist trap look

at this Wow so for traveling from this mmm Paris

to Paris itself well thank you almost two hours when I thank you one hour and

a half yeah the same time you can also spend on your

extra magic time actually in the repertory ride again as you can see here

is the rooftop and the sound well they're here as well

when I was a bit younger I visited a job bamboo Luxemburg and it made a big

impression on me so that's why I really wanted to go there again during our walk

to this park we encountered a lot of geek stores and also we found some

bakeries with delicious treats there so many

small puff pastry's mate lift your churned butter free backs when books are

at your disposal self-service 160 each

one box of macarons seven euros if you're wondering where we are now we are

in the sixth are on the demand of Paris and hidden in this place is a beautiful

authentic visage 120 metres long it's gold

cuckoo mute sound Andre it is a very narrow street with beautiful facades

windows and roofs it is one of the few streets in Paris that still has original

Coco stones now this looks all very very cute but unfortunately this was also the

place where they have tested the revolutionary invention that Quixote so

that's is a bit of a bummer isn't it we are walking towards Jardin du Luxembourg

and its place that I went with my dad and my sister a long time ago and I

really loved that Park so really would like to visit it again now that we are

here and so and we are almost there yeah so what I really love about Jardin du

Luxembourg is that it's really something used by locals as well and there's this

humongous alley with trees it's very romantic with beautiful benches

something out of a movie you know really really nice and it's also fun about this

park everywhere you look there are some very heavy metal benches at least I

thought I was here when I was ten I guess so this discharge were very heavy

in my memory but uhm some fun fact you are allowed to move them wherever you

want to perfect and you can have you a picnic or just something to read and you

see a lot of a lot there are some people who are using them the locals are using

them as well a really cool place to begin to relax here

we just wanted to have a look here and while we're done looking around so it's

time for us to head back to a distant Paris to magnate level a so now we're

going to show you how to get back I googled right back to Disney on fares

and filled in the public transport version instead of the car or walking so

we're walking to the nearest RER train station and we have to do transfer to

get on the a line back to Manila Valley we walk for 10 minutes then it says

entered Boulevard Sam Michelle that's what we did and take this re RB Airport

to the terminal and then we get off at Charlotte you know that's where we got

off the train this morning and then we have to do the transfer and then we get

on a train back again towards dissonant Paris how do we walk where where do we

have to go to because we can go that way you can go that way that way that way we

go that way because C D G stands for sha did good

so aéroports char gobo that's the one we have to go we just left the first train

my B and which is trying to share the goal

and now we go to foreign aid after day Martin a level a which is line a going

east and I see the sign

so our two main RV are lines here in Paris which is more to south which is

blue B and one from west to east and the other way around which is line a that's

the red one

if you want to be sure you got on the right train the train line is above the

door

well guys we are back on the train station for Disneyland Paris it's been

quite a journey to get you

and then go back again pretty tired now but it was a very good experience and

also for us because now we now we know ourselves as well how to get to Paris

and I think that we will do it more often because it's actually it's not so

bad and that's a bad if you get a hang of it how you get your tickets and then

it's quite easy and like most of public transport systems in large cities it's

very easy to understand for spend that's for me he's always like it's so easy

well I don't think it's so easy you get a hang up if you're used to just that's

a addition kind of sound no to hits hit Harry Potter so the

transport system of Paris if you get to know it and take a little bit of time to

work out how it works it's that simple so get a ticket

well this was the video for this week we hope that you liked it and we hope that

you're going to visit Paris as well if you do please let us know in the

comments down below and make it a thumbs up

oh yeah give us a thumbs up and the next time we'll see you a main street

bye are you looking for more fun and informative videos about this land Paris

Miranda Sings/Colleen Ballinger Lipsticks?! | First Impression & Review! | Maddi Marie - Duration: 6:22.

Hey guys, it's Maddi and today I'm gonna do a first impression on the new

Colleen/Miranda Sings lipsticks.

So I watched Colleen's video...

Like "I'm having twins" like *uhh* her clickbait title.

*Um* and I had to buy these like immediately.

So... we're gonna try 'em out.

We're gonna try the Colleen *it's upside down* lipstick first.

*Uh* She said the shade name was after her cat so she named it Daisy Mae.

Right off the bat, I love the packaging, it's so cute. It's like ..... it's-it's just so cute, guys.

It has her signature on it and a little heart.

So, this is what it looks like.

It kind of comes to a point in the middle, instead of like-like a regular lipstick. *Hold on*

Like a regular lipstick, it does ... that.

So this is Daisy Mae.

I don't really like that name, but we're gonna *laughs* we're gonna ignore that for now.

So...

Wow.

So far, I like it. It's a little hard to apply ... in my opinion 'cause I'm used to the *um* standard ... lipstick bullets.

I do like the color, though.

*It's very pretty*

Sorry, I'm like focusing ssso hard.

This ... is what ... Daisy Mae looks like.

I messed up a little bit on the bottom...

It feels super good on the lips, like it feels...

It doesn't feel sticky at all, it feels like very satin-y, if that's a word.

So now we're gonna try the Miranda Red "Lipstik."

And honestly I love how it's like the original Miranda, like with the button-up shirt and the red pants.

And this one's just a regular bullet.

Regular lipstick bullet.

I always mess up the bottom, you guys. Always.

I take literally the longest time trying to do my lipstick because I always mess it up.

Okay so, this is what Miranda Red looks like, if you guys can see past the weird lighting.

*Um* again, this feels really good. It was kind of hard to apply, at first *uhh*

But I think all new lipsticks are like that, honestly, where it's really hard to like take the first swipe.

But ... other than that ... I like it.

All I've ever had are like matte reds, so it's nice for me to finally have like a satin red.

Just a short vid todayyy ... but I really wanted to review these lipsticks for you guys *umm*

Yeah, they're both pretty goOoOd. They're, I mean, standard like I-I like the colors, well everyone can appreciate a good red.

But I like *uh* the pink-nude shade as well.

I hope you guys enjoyed this video, I hope it wasn't too boring or too short

because I didn't really have much to say, like it's a standard lipstick.

I hope you guys liked it *umm* leave a like if you diiid and subscribe and

leave video suggestions in the comments and tell me how your day was and stuff like that.

So, yeah. I love you guys so so so much.

XOXO

SAVI - Ballarena (Lyrics) Feat. Aleesia & Not From Mars - Duration: 3:02.

Like a ballarena

Like a ballarena

'Cause baby I can dance

And you'll see me fly like I'm a ballarena

One day I'm gonna sell out an arena-a

And I'm gonna fly like I'm a ballarena

Well one day I'm gonna sell out an arena

All my picture perfect dreams versus the reality

When I think about it

All the things I said I'd be by the age of 23

When I think about it

You're not done, yeah baby gotta prove 'em all wrong

Go higher, it says in my head

The fire, it burns in my chest

With waiting thinking maybe I'm wrong

I am crushed, I'm so done

Yeah my mind dips, so low

Give up, you're not good enough

'Cause baby I can dance

And you'll see me fly like I'm a ballarena

And one day I'm gonna sell out an arena

Be famous, here everybody singin' my song

See places, that I've never seen

And I fell, in love with my dreams

I'm so buzzed, elated of the sounds of this song

When the lights hit, my body erupts

I fell, in love with the rush

How To Get A Girl To Hook Up With You | 3 Things She Needs To Know To Consider A One Night Stand! - Duration: 7:25.

if you've ever found yourself in a situation when you wanted to get close

with a girl and you wanted maybe to sleep with her but you found a very

careful around going in that direction with you then you may have overlooked

addressing some of her biggest fears around sex with you or even just getting

intimate with you in any way so in this video I want to help you address some of

the biggest fears around getting intimate with you or having sex with you

and how to address them easily up front so that these fears basically don't even

pop up in our mind so much my name is Stephan Erdman I'm dedicated to help

you to attract women in a natural way without any kind of weird pick-up

bullshit if you want to see my upcoming videos click the link here and also hit

the notifications bell so that you get the actual updates when I upload new

videos now here's something that a lot of guys don't realize women really like

good sex in fact they love it probably more than

us on average so why do they not throw themselves at guys wherever they can and

why can they be so difficult to get used to this idea of having sex with you the

answer is simple because they're bigger risks associated with sex for women than

for men when it comes to sex despite all the condoms in the world there is a real

risk for women to get pregnant and it does happen in this day and age so this

is a real fear for a girl and it's good for you to be aware of that women also

fear being judged because of the sad tradition of slut shaming women and

calling guys studs that sleep around okay when everybody could just basically

do the same thing and feel good about it and women also are worried about what if

it doesn't really go anywhere what if the sex is bad and they don't want to

see the guy again will he get complicated aggressive

possessive all of these things there are many stories that I've heard from some

of my female friends when guys basically you assume just because they've slept

together once somehow they're boyfriend and girlfriend now and call them every

minute of the day rather than letting things happen the step by step and just

developed from there right guys can get really controlling at that point and

women are worried about that women also fear guys basically boasting about

hooking up with them - they're sometimes mutual friends that's a real fear

because then women's reputation can get ruined by basically people gossiping and

you know this happens especially of course in high schools at universities

and things like that strangely it never seems to negatively

affect the reputation of the guy most often it's seen as positive for the guy

negative for the girl so that's why even if a girl is turned on ready to go she

will still probably play it cool unless she's in a very specific situation and

you've done some of the right things before that moment when she notices yes

I'm into this guy and actually I want to sleep with him right now

so what are some things you can do well you've got to address those three big

fears number one you've got to prove to her that you're not judgmental about

women or anyone number two you've got to prove to her that even though you are

attracted to definitely and you will definitely want to get into her pants

and you might want to make that quite clear in a playful way that you are

laid-back about sex it doesn't mean anything at that point and you're not

gonna get possessive controlling oil assume that you're gonna be in a

relationship because you are you know getting intimate with her number three

you want to prove to her in some way that you discreet and that you care

about her well-being and her reputation as much as your own and you're not gonna

be boasting about sleeping with her after it happened to your friends or her

friends or anybody or put it on Facebook so how do you do that this is where

stories can come in really nicely if you want her to understand that use somebody

that doesn't judge people or women specifically you can just tell a story

about a friend of yours who may be very unconventional and how you really admire

the fact that she doesn't care what people think and that she just you know

if she likes a guy she goes for it and it doesn't really affect

like there may be one or two people judging her but she doesn't care at all

and she doesn't take any shit from anybody about that if you have a friend

like that that you admire great so tell that story to the second point you can

just bring up some of that that you find it completely weird how sometimes guys

can get so possessive or controlling or they kind of think that you know you

could they sleep with a girl once and some other in a relationship how you

find that really quite strange and that you know that's something that you know

one or two of your female friends have told you about you can just throw in a

quick comment about that and it will just sink in and she'll just

automatically understand that that's where you are coming from and it will

allow her to feel more safe with you now the last point about caring for her

well-being honestly guys totally underestimate this because they think

somehow they have to be tough and show this interest and stuff but you can you

can be playful all of that and still show that you care about her being safe

and feeling good and comfortable and that you care about her reputation you

can just do that by being a good guy too you know notice the little things where

you can make sure she's okay and secondly you can also throw in a little

story about something and you can do that literally by saying hey you know I

don't post much on Facebook or Instagram or something I never understand what

people have to put all their private moments online for everybody to see it's

a very strange thing isn't it and then you get maybe into a quick conversation

about that but she's understood that you're not gonna be going around you

know saying hey I slept with this in this girl and blah blah blah or you

gonna talk to your mutual friends or something at the same time though you

want to be open with the fact that you find her attractive flirting with her

teasing her saying stuff like oh you're very cute I've got to control myself

here you you're being a bad influence on me in a playful way now all of those

things is where you're flirting when you're teasing when you're basically

saying yes I find you attractive but at the same time I'm super chilled

about sex I'm super careful around your feelings because I want you to feel

great and feel free with me and I'm totally not judgmental on women or

myself or anybody because I feel people should just do what they want to do now

when you can bring those things across by your behavior and by maybe one or two

anecdotes or stories you've just successfully removed the biggest fears

that might be going around in a mind related to hooking up with you basically

if you want to learn how to make the next steps and build that attraction and

conversation go here to this link and I'll tell you more there

5 Funniest Indian Babas - Duration: 6:40.

There is no doubt that we Indians are easily manipulative.

Some cons manipulate us and then later starts calling themselves as Babas.

And, if you are an Indian, you would know how many babas we have.

We have the babas who cures people by hugging them, by using some weird hand gestures and

some redefine science completely.

Sometimes, things that these babas say or do are so funny and illogical that we start

judging their Bhakts.

Before we begin, click the Subscribe button if you haven't and hit the bell icon to

be a part of our notification squad.

Today, we are looking at 5 Funniest Indian babas.

We will be covering some of the weird statements by them which will make you go…

5 Asaram Bapu

Asaram Bapu is not an unknown name for us Indians.

He has a huge number of devotees all around the world.

But due to his deeds, he is serving jail time nowadays.

Asaram bapu was always been in the controversies for his statements and other things.

During one of his Satsang, he was in just some another mood.

Asaram Bapu came on the stage and started dancing.

His dance was unintentionally funny and weird.

The weirder thing was to see the devotees happy with all of this.

4 Swami Om

Swami Om was once the YouTube sensation in India.

He first came into limelight when he was made the contestant in Big Boss and after that,

he never stopped.

He is pretty famous for his statements, his dance or his... uhmm…

Urvashi-Vishwamitra Scene recreation.

He is one of the few babas who has been beaten up at multiple occasions too.

During a News Debate, Swami Om indulged into a fight with a fellow Dharmguru and things

got pretty heated afterward.

No idea how he is known as a Baba.

3 Gurmeet Ram Rahim

Gurmeet Ram Rahim or, as his devotees say,

Gurmeet Ram Rahim Insaan, is one of the babas with biggest devotees count in India.

He is the head of a social group, Dera Sacha Sauda from 1990.

And with a huge amount of people connected to it, there is no doubt that he got a lot

of money.

But, he is more than just a baba.

Gurmeet Ram Rahim made 5 movies in a span of just 2 years, which he acted, directed,

composed music, sang, edited, wrote, and... what not.

If you are looking for some unintentional laughs or you want to see some weird motorcycles

or non-sense songs, be sure to check out these movies.

Or maybe not.

They are not really worth it.

2 Radhe Maa

Radhe Maa, also called Mamtamai Shri Radhe Guru Maa and Guru Maa by her devotees, is

a Hindu spiritual teacher and guru from India.

Hands down, she is one of the funniest Indian Guru.

With overdone makeup, heavy clothes, and lots of jewelry, you can find Radhe maa giving

weird statements every now and then.

She is one of those gurus who can start dancing at any function, and people go to some other

place watching her.

In an interview with a leading news channel, she gave so many funny statements that you

will find it hard to believe that people believe in her so much.

You have to see it yourself.

Video link is in the description if you want to watch the full episode.

1 Nirmal Baba

Hands down, the number 1 spot goes to Nirmal Baba, or as his bhakts say…

Nirmal Baba has been famous for the different solutions he gives to his bhakts.

His solutions depend on what his mood is.

If he is hungry…

If he wants to shop…

Or if he just wants to have some fun.

Funnier are the people who are there with their issues.

With so many emotions, they look more like actors, but, who knows.

In an interview with a leading journalist, Abhisar Sharma, he came up with some funny

and weird lines.

See it for yourself.

So, these were our picks for 5 funniest Indian Babas.

Before we end this video, we just want to clarify that we are not against religion.

Religion is a very pure and beautiful thing.

Just don't let such people control it.

Thank You so much for watching.

Write it down in the comments if you have some video ideas for our channel.

And don't forget to hit that subscribe button and watch the previous stuff we know you'll

love too.

Fast Pitch: Where in the world will you go in 2019? - Duration: 2:40.

Hi everybody I'm Kathea Smith from the Merrick School of Business at the

University of Baltimore and I know you're used to our "Fast Pitch" videos in a

really nice studio with lighting and microphones and technology, but today we're

live from my hallway and we're using about as low tech as we can get to tell

you about our Global Field Studies for 2019. Where are we going in 2019? Well

this winter we're going to Thailand. That's not a bad deal. January in

Thailand is really nice, unlike January in Baltimore. So we're

going January 19th through the 27th. If you want to apply it's a fast turnaround.

Get the applications in now because deposits are due November 5th. Your

initial deposit is nine hundred dollars ($900) So wow Kathea that's really fast! Well

where are we going for Spring Break? London with Dr. Williams. This trip will

be gone during the Spring Break the sixteenth through the 23rd. And if you're

an accounting undergraduate student, this trip can count as one of your accounting

program electives. Your deposit will be due in January just after the new year

and we're anticipating that your deposit will be about a thousand dollars. More

details are coming on that. What if you wanted to go to our third trip? Well

that's in the summer semester and we're going to Finland. Where it's also really

nice in the summer. May 18th through the 26th our deposit is

due in March and we're thinking it's about $1,200. Some of these things depend

on how many people go so the more people that apply the cheaper the cost. How do

you go on a Global Field Study? Well the process is really simple. First talk to

your adviser. Come talk to me if you want to know how this can fit or how you can

get use these classes to complete your degree. Come chat with us first. Then

you're going to complete the Global Field Study Approval Form. You're gonna

send that, your essay, and your resume to me at ksmith@ubalt.edu.

if you're a Merrick School of Business student, you can complete the Wight Global

Scholars application. That will save you $1,200 dollars off the cost of this trip.

So it's a great way to be able to afford going on this trip. Affording things. Well

I've got the answer to that question too. How can you afford to go to Thailand

London or Finland? Talk to Financial Aid Office. Yes, your Federal financial aid can be

used to cover the cost of winter or summer courses, but it depends on what

you're taking. So make sure that you go over to the financial aid office and

talk to them about what your plans are to figure out how it works for you. We

want to see you travel the world with us in 2019, so get those applications in now!

Bye.

How to stabilize 360 videos and straighten horizons in Adobe Premiere with VR plugins - Duration: 8:03.

Hey Guys, it's Gaba VR, and this time I'm gonna show you how to straighten your 360 footage,

and how to make your horizon constantly straight during your whole video.

Looking at these videos, maybe everything seems fine, until you start panning around.

Then you can feel that they behave a little bit strange.

You cannot look around as easy as you want, because something is wrong with them.

But here you can see the problem, right after switching to flat view.

As you can see, the stabilization itself is quite okay, but the horizon line is a little bit twisted.

That's why the whole video behaves weird in 360, as the main directions are shifted.

If you want to look right, you will turn the video right but it's not the real direction in the virtual space…

… I hope you know what I mean.

You won't see such things in my 360 videos on this channel,

but unfortunately I meet this problem a lot of times in several Facebook groups,

when people just upload their raw footages, shot with Mi Sphere, Theta or GoPro Fusion.

And I think it ruins the whole VR experience,

because you can't look around perfectly. Even more, it's quite disturbing.

Anyway, if you are interested about this content I create check out my 360 travel vlog.

Now I have a series about Lisbon, you find in the right top corner.

Previously I published my videos with English subtitles but now I create English speaking versions, too

I dub the whole videos.

So sometimes when I'm talking to the camera, like this time, you can hear the original audio in the background

overdubbed in English, but the narrative parts are totally replaced.

So if you are interested about my 360 contents, check out my Portugal vlog in English,

or this playlist with all of my 360 videos in various topics.

But now, let's jump into it, and let's see how to straighten 360 videos on a computer.

It doesn't matter if it's a PC or Mac, because I'm working with Adobe Premiere.

In one of my previous tutorials I showed you how to insert titles into the 360 space

using one of the VR plugins come with the latest Premiere CC version.

And now, we're gonna use another one.

And this time I show you this workflow with a Madv footage.

So starting at the beginning I stitch my video.

I use the latest Mi Sphere Camera software,

because somehow it does a better job than the Madventure 360.

Madventure 360 creates such a weird "stitchline" in the middle of the front lens,

but Mi Sphere Camera app doesn't.

Each time I make sure that "Gyro calibration" is on, and that's all.

This basic stitching "workflow" makes the footage smooth

but the funny part is that none of the videos are aligned well. I don't know how.

Let me show you a funny example.

In this video you can see one of the simplest situations you could imagine.

I just put the camera on a horizontal surface. It's actually a couch.

I press the record button before putting the camera down, and it confuses the whole system.

The horizon line is changing all the time, during the video, even when the camera is not moving at all.

It seems like an extreme situation, but in fact it's quite the same with a moving camera, too,

but it's harder to see then.

So I have the footage with stabilization but the horizon is not perfect

Even more, it's changing during the video.

First I import it into Premiere, and search for "VR" plugins.

This time I will use the one called "VR projection".

To straighten the footage I have two options.

Once I can set up the middle of it, and I can correct the twist of the image, too.

Unfortunately it's always depending on the footage, there are no rules, how to start.

But there are some tricks I found out and I can show you them.

First, you may know that there's an overlay in Premier, called "Safe margins".

When you turn it on, it helps you editing commercials or any other videos you create for television.

Normally you can be sure, that your titles and your important graphic parts are in the safe zone.

But I use it with 360 videos, too.

These lines, especially the short ones on the middle can help me to set up the horizon

and in many times, the other ones are great during setting up the edge of the buildings.

If you don't have this icon, click on the plus button and add it to your toolbar.

Of course, you can create a psd file with a grid and drag it over the 360 video,

but in my projects there are so many layers in the end, that it would disturb me.

So I use these shorter middle lines, to set up horizon.

As you can see, it helps a lot to make the video really straight.

Even more I can switch to 360 preview.

Actually I hate that this preview window is so small, but this way I can check out these things very well,

because these frames and lines remain visible even in this view.

Of course, I can try looking around to feel how natural it is.(Sometimes it needs more correction.)

When it seems and feels perfect, I switch back to the flat view.

And here comes the part, why I showed you that weird moving horizon video in the beginning:

because the horizon line is moving in many cases, and we have further things to do.

I create key frames at that point where I was editing so far, and check out another frame.

Fortunately, in many cases it only needs a small correction.

And of course, I won't use the whole footage.

First I always cut the beginning and the end, when I actually put the camera in position and stop recording.

Then I check out the final cut to see where to put the key frames.

The less key frames are the better.

I think it looks more natural, when you create an arc to it.

Of course, it depends on the footage,

but I like to make it as smooth as possible, with continuous changes

instead of strong steps from frame to frame.

And finally you can see how it looks before and after

And how this weird footage looks before and after.

It's in flat view...

...and in 360.

And finally there's one more thing.

As you can see, we have a third option with this VR plugin, I haven't used yet.

I use it to set up a starting view-point and match the further videos to it during cutting.

You know, in a 360 or VR space it's very important to be consistent in directions.

I think the most important thing is to set up the first frame, because that's what the viewers can't control.

After that it doesn't matter what's in the "middle" or on the sides,

the point is to keep the scenes consistent during camera moves and setting up directions.

I think the easiest way to do this, is to create a fade.

In the middle of the fade you can see both images upon each other.

So when your opening scene is okay, you can match the next one to it, and so on…

That's how I go through the whole video to match all the scenes.

And that's all. I have straight horizons all over the video, and all the scenes are matching.

I hope you like this method, and if you do, please thumbs up!

And if you are interested about further 360 shooting and editing techniques,

Fitness Studio Member Retention Statistics From MINDBODY - Duration: 1:26.

I believe that the most important piece of any business is sales.

Without sales you've got nothing to retain.

But with that said I believe that the second most important piece of your business is your ability to retain the sales

that you've made. Otherwise it's like shoveling snow while it's snowing.

And just like there are many reasons why you may not get a sale,

there are many reasons why you may not retain a member

and your job is to get a handle on as many of those reasons as you possibly can to lower it down.

It's a tough industry as it is so...Data given by Mind Body is based on 56,000

fitness studios in 2016.

It shows that the average studio only retains 10 percent of their members for twelve months

or longer. 10! That means if you sign up 100 people on January

1st, 2019...by January 1st the following year you've only got 10 of

those original 100 still with you.

The best of the best retained only about 30 percent in that test.

And anyone listening right now and thinking, "That can't be right!

We retain way more than that!" The people that only retain 10 percent

thought the exact same thing. Because most people aren't really measuring that piece of their business the way they should.

But if you did, you'd realize that data is correct.

And that's the focus. If you can manage retention you're solid.

Emily Ann Roberts - Stuck On Me + You (Lyrics) - Duration: 2:58.

Oh I'm stuck on me and you

It don't matter, baby, what I do

No I can't get you out of my heart, my head

It don't matter, baby, what I do

Can't get you out of my heart, my head

All tangled up and I can't break loose

I can't run even if I wanted to

It don't matter, baby, what I do

Can't get you out of my heart, my head

All tangled up and I can't break loose

I can't run even if I wanted to

Oh-oh, yeah-eah

Oh I'm stuck on me and you

It don't matter, baby, what I do

Can't get you out of my heart, my head

All tangled up and I can't break loose

And I can't run even if I wanted to

I'm stuck on me and you

I can feel you miss me too

And when that song comes on

I'm fixed on that summer, I dance with your memory

Oh I'm stuck on me and you

It don't matter, baby, what I do

Can't get you out of my heart, my head

All tangled up and I can't break loose

And I can't run even if I wanted to

Still stuck on me and you

That made that old town brand new

The flirting, the feeling

Stuck by the river, the first time you kissed me

I'm stuck on me and you

In a white jeep with nothing to lose

The fire, the freedom

I'm stuck in a small town with all of our history

Silver Wire Inlay In Wood - Duration: 13:09.

Hello, I'm Alan Newbury

and today we're going to take the hook knife for making wooden spoons and

We are going to do some silver wire inlay into the wooden handle

This is a fun process and it's really not that difficult

But it requires some specialized tools and you'll see me using them here in this video

So let's go ahead and take a look and see how that's done. I

Like to start off by putting on the pattern and

usually what I do is just draw it on with a pencil I can erase it if I don't get it just right and

Then I can redraw it to how I like it

you can also see that I have a little bit of a thinner wire that's already been inlaid in there and

I just for the interest of time didn't do both parts

here I have a thicker wire that is dead soft and

On a thicker wire you can use dead soft on the thinner wire. You're gonna want to have half-hard

Because if it was dead soft

It would want to fold over really easy

It being thicker kind of helps that to not happen as much but it's still something to look out for

the different types of wire are

Are kind of work better in different circumstances a nice thin wire can look pretty and then a thick wire

can

Provide a nice contrast and the softer wires can go around the curves the curvature of your handle better

so here I'm just pushing the blade in and

kind of rocking it a little bit there and just kind of starting it in the previous hole and

Then I'll kind of go through and make sure that I've got

any like kind of little bits that that's all pushed down to the same debt and

This handle is just a jewelers handle that has had an exacto knife

with the handle kind of shortened and then insert it into the jeweler's handle and then the blade is reshaped to

Have kind of a flat portion

of

different widths

because those nice thin bits are

Are good for going around corners? And then if you have a straight spot a nice wide blade is good

So here I'm just cutting the silver wire which I had already sand and you just saw it. I do I'm using the same sample

220 grit just to kind of rough up the sides of the st. Of the silver wire so that it'll want to grip

the wood a little better than if it was just perfectly smooth and

Then I'm just inserting it in there all of these

Pieces of silver wire in this particular design are all straight and they're all small

So I'm cutting them out beforehand if you watch my previous video on

Silver wire inlay, I do more curves because I'm in laying a snake

So snakes got a lot of curves and it also has a lot of long pieces. These are all short little pieces

So I do it a little bit different here. So you may want to go back and take a look at that and see the

Equipment a little bit better in that video as well

And so right here, I'm going to do the same thing. I kind of

Insert it in the previous hole a little bit just start it in there and then rock it over

Until I'm starting the new cut and it's all just pushed straight down. You're not removing any wood

You're you're just kind of poking a slit into it. Later

We're going to swell that wood back up so that it will kind of close that hole and grab onto the silver

So there you go another little piece just getting hammered in there and it went in nice

Now what you may not see is sometimes it doesn't work as well

Sometimes maybe the wire starts folding over and you can kind of push it back straight maybe once or twice

if it keeps doing it, you're probably gonna be better off just putting in a new wire cuz it may break in half or

Have a kink in it or something like that

There we go

And we'll put in another little piece if you try to put in a piece and it looks a little too short

well

Just throw it off and you can melt it later and make something else

if you have it a little long, then you can just trim it a little more and

In this case, I'm using these tweezers to help me get it in there. You can push it down in with your tweezers maybe or

You can push it in with your finger some just to get it started

it's kind of tricky with these little tiny pieces because there isn't really much to hold on to if it was a long piece you

might just start

one end with your hammer and then keep holding on to it and kind of tap your way down the line but with these little

Tiny guys, it kind of all has to go in at once

But

It's a pretty cool little design here. This is actually a design

based off of Burmese star tortoise

I'm going to talk more about those in a subsequent video and probably a little bit more at the end of the video as well

Now I'll talk a little bit about

The wire with the wire there are different sizes I the really thin stuff is

Kind of tricky and it's real easy for it to fold over

so you're gonna want to have a half hard type wire and even then it's it's really tricky and

Then a little bit thicker you

can have the half hard and then half hard is really nice and that it's kind of springy and resists kinking and

Getting like little little bins in the wire so you can make a nice smooth curve real easily

So I think it's really cool for scrolls. If you have a nice kind of flattish surface, it's really good for that

But it doesn't really like going around the curvature of your handle

So if you're going from like a the flattest part there

Like in this star and then maybe if you try to go a little bit more around the corner there

it's it's gonna be kind of a steep angle and that

Wires not going to want to bend around that angle as much so if you use a dead soft wire

it will want to go around the

curvature of your handle a little better and

that

Dead soft wire though. You're gonna want to have a little bit thicker wire and

that will help to resist it folding over because it's a little bit wider and

So I'm kind of starting to like that thicker dead soft wire as opposed to

the

thinner half hard wire

But it really comes down to like what what are you putting it in if it was in a flat surface?

I probably used the half-hard slightly thinner wire all the time

but on knife handles I tend to at some point have to kind of go around a

little bit of a curve on my handle and

Having having the dead soft wire is is really a benefit for that

So that's kind of something. I've I've been experimenting a little bit with different

Sizes and thicknesses and hardnesses of wire and that's just something I've kind of picked up lately

If you see here what I'm using for

Underneath that. It's just a little lead shot bag

In leather, and it just helps me to to have a nice firm

Spot to rest the knife some people will use a

Graver ball or a jeweler's vise

you see those kind of rotating vices and if you look at Joe Keesler, he kind of popularized a making a

One of those rotary type vices. They're a ball of ice out of a bowling ball with a vise attached to it

And then you set that into a lawnmower

Tire and

It makes for a pretty cool

multi positioning type vise

but I find for the knife handles that just kind of resting it on a bag or even

Propping up a few has worked. Well for me. I'm not doing a whole lot of real fast

Scroll turns, you know, it's I can I can position myself a little more easily on this work. It's not super

Superfast I'm not having to follow a curve as I'm making a scroll like you would when you're engraving

But here it is sped up so you can see

the rest of this wire going in and

This this is a pretty cool pattern. I mentioned that it was on Burmese star tortoise has this

six pointed star

is kind of the

reference shape for the geometric pattern that is on a Burmese star tortoise, which is a

critically endangered tortoise from Myanmar and

it's it's actually a type of tortoise that I keep and

I'm

Really enjoying the pattern that they have and here you can see that pattern right there

it's a lovely pattern and I'm planning on making some knives and

Selling them I probably gonna make one knife and do a YouTube video and

Sell it with the proceeds going to that

to

Tortoises and turtles as there were some of the more endangered animals out there

Anyway, so right here, what I'm doing is I'm wetting the wood

And that helps that grain

That you kind of split apart with the tool

To kind of close back up and the heat also helps with that process helps to swell that

That grain back up. I've used a hairdryer and this is a heat gun, but I'm not using it on its hottest setting and

least or if I do use the hottest sitting I make sure I don't do it too long because you can burn the wood and

Then after you do that you sand that back down. I'm just using a 220 grit sandpaper that I was using earlier and

then you just sand that down flat and

You will have basically finished your

Silver wire inlay after you've done that but you know

That's not like a really great finish for the wood or even a great finish for the silver because 220 grit still

While it's smooth to the hand, it does show scratches and it's not as nice of finishes. I like to have

So then what you'd want to use is maybe some true loyal or @ tung oil I'm using a form B's product here

and so I

like to

To raise the wood grain first. So I put a little water on there and raise the wood grain everywhere

So not just on

the

one half I do the whole side, but I actually am

Going to do some more silver wire inlay on the other side

So I'm only kind of giving an example on the finish and then I use some

triple lot

Stained steel wool to remove the grain that has been raised with the water

And then now I am implying some finishing product. In this case. It's form bees. You could use true oil

some sort of a tung oil type product and then you'll want to get on a nice thin layer and

Then you let that dry

So just get in make sure you get it everywhere, but don't put too much if you put too much

It'll take forever for it to dry

And this is a type of product where you really need to put on several coats the more coats you look the shinier

It's gonna get so there's my first coat then after that

I'm going to take some more of that steel wool and

Then I'm going to rub it again. And this is going to help to kind of scuff up that previous

Application so that some stuff will stick on top of that and it help

Doing this kind of repeatedly fills the pores of the wood to help get a nice shinier finish

so the more times you do this the shinier, it's gonna get I

Think for this one. It's a carving type tool signle

Did it a couple times then we have a tortoise that I inlaid on the other side

I mentioned that this design was based off of a Burmese star tortoise in the future

what I am going to do is make a knife and

Include

one or more of these two designs probably may just be the six point star and

Then I'm going to sell that with proceeds going to

tortoise and turtle conservation

So thanks for watching and look forward to more of these videos on that knife sometime in the future

I still have to design and make that knife and

then

If you enjoy the silver wire inlay

Please check out my other silver wire inlay book and if you like this knife check out my knife

making video of this knife

spoon carving hook knife

It's gonna show you how it was all done without using any forging all stock removal and thanks for watching
