Here are a few examples from my collection of phoneses, excuse me phones

This one is from year 1969 and it's functionally similar to the one we have at the entrance to the ministry

It has a cable and you use this bit to talk and listen like so

And you use this bits to call a certain number. I tried to figure out why it doesn't work

So I asked Anne, but she just laughed at me. She probably has no clue

The other day she saw my collection and asked, if I would like to take some of her own phoneses

she gave me this one

I think that was really nice of her

Ok, so this is called a mobily phone. Mobily because it has no need for cable in other words

It is a telephone with access to a

cellular

system so it can be used over a wide area without a physical connection to the network

As you can see I have a fine collection of telephoneses and mobily telephoneses

A red one

A particularly wide one

A sticky one

And one with a bitten apple

And Anne also promised me to give me the one she uses now when it doesn't work anymore

I guess she's saving money for the vlogs

Sometimes I feel bad that I get to have the newest phone technology

when all she can afford is a phone with an apple

The second thing I would like to show you today is this

I found it in the bathroom area and was wondering what the function of this object is. According to little Jacob

it's a rubber duck, but I wonder how much an 8 year old child can know about muggle technology

My further examination showed that it makes sound when squeezed

It is for this reason I am prepared to believe that the so called "rubber duck" is some kind of a sound device

Perhaps it is an even older ancestor of the phone
