Warhammer: Chaosbane - Gameplay Dwarf Slayer - Duration: 2:41.

Dwarfs who take the Slayer's Oath

are sworn to redeem their honour by dying in combat

against a formidable adversary.

As certain "unlucky" ones among them survive these huge battles,

they become Slayers,

exceptional combatants who are constantly hunting for the most powerful enemies.

I'm Chris, from the Chaosbane team.

Today I'm going to introduce you to Bragi Axebiter,

the Dwarf Slayer.

That's enough of your long-shanks!

I'll take it from here.

But I...

Shut it, you!

I can introduce myself!

Now... watch and learn!

See that?

That's what death and mayhem looks like!

That's me, Bragi Axebiter,

Dwarf Slayer of Karaz-a-Karak!

Dwarf Slayers live for the glory of battle!

The bigger the fight, the better!

There's nothing in the Old World or beyond

that my axes can't kill!

For starters,

a few spin of my axes will get me warmed up.

My axes run red with the blood of my foes!

Or green.

Or sometimes black.

ou never know what's inside those daemons

'til you split 'em open. Ha!

Take this pack of Nurglings for example.

Little gobs got me surrounded, don't they?

Well, that's just the way I like it!

Nothing like a good fight to get the blood flowing,

am I right?

When in doubt,

just go at the biggest monster you can see

and split him down the middle!

Divide and conquer! Ha!

One thing to know about Slayers

is that we don't wear armor.

That's for prissy little pointy-ears

and cowardly humans!

When I'm in a fight,

I want to jump in with both feet and start swinging!

Massacres don't start by themselves, you know!

And don't try to run, either!

If I can't catch you,

my axes will, by Grimnir!

I love the surprised look on a daemon's face

as its head hits the ground!

I fight to honor the spirits of my kin,

and when I need them

I can call upon their ancient might.

Most foes would rather face my axes instead.

And the longer the battle goes,

the more a Slayer's blood begins to boil…

and sooner or later,

the bloodlust takes over,

and nothing can stop me!

I've carved my way through whole armies

when the madness takes me.

Poor beggars don't stand a chance!

Pure carnage, plain and simple!

That's what being a Slayer is about!

Well. That's it, then.

Carry on, long-shank.

I'm going to get some ale!

I guess that's the end of this gameplay video

dedicated to Bragi Axebiter.

Be sure to follow the game on social media

for more information and gameplay videos.

See you soon!

That's it!

How to organize your homeschool curriculum - Duration: 4:07.

Jessica: Hi, I'm Jessica, and we are going through a homeschooling series right now.

Today, I wanted to show you how I organize my homeschool curriculum and hopefully give

you some ideas or tips on how you can organize yours.

For the best cleaning, organizing, productivity, and mom advice, please subscribe to my channel

and hit the bell so you'll be notified when I post a video every Thursday.

I have a really big office/homeschool room, but we really only utilize a really small

part for homeschool storage.

I try to keep things simple, and we don't keep a ton of stuff, we just have what we

need, so I'm able to keep it in a pretty small space.

Okay, so I have this little desk right here, I have these two storage containers underneath,

and then I have this cube storage thing on top, and this houses all of our curriculum.

In this first cube, is this all the stuff that we use on a daily basis, and then we

have this stuff that I either don't need right now or just am not using.

This is the next language arts curriculum that I printed off from their website.

Grace only has a couple more weeks in the current curriculum, so we're going to move

onto the next one.

Then we have the Sonlight curriculum, which we're not using.

I don't really need the instructors manual for her math.

This is her new math that she'll start pretty soon, so stuff like that.

Then down here is stuff that she uses during school, so I put some math blocks in here.

It actually comes in this huge box, but she doesn't use all of them in there, so I just

pulled a few out and put them in a smaller box, so it's easier to get in and out.

Then this is just a huge box of markers and crayons, so Grace can just pull that out if

there's something we need to color.

And then this last cube just holds all of our read alouds, and then we have some little

readers that come with her language arts and then some DVDs and flashcards.

Then, down below, with these storage containers, this top drawer I've just put in all of her

pencils.

I don't fill these drawers with a ton of stuff.

That way, we just know where everything is.

Here's some markers, extra crayons, and glue sticks and paint and tape.

Then we just put a bunch of coloring books down there.

And then this top drawer, we just have blank sheets of paper and the blank paper I need

for her spelling and stuff.

Then this one is just things she's finished coloring or painting, like different projects

and stuff.

Then the last one is just a bunch of art supplies.

So, that's it.

That's how we organize our homeschool curriculum.

All right.

Now you know exactly how I organize all my homeschool curriculum.

Hopefully, that helped give you some ideas on how you can organize yours.

I'd love for you to comment below and give us your tips on how you organize at your homeschool

room.

Also, make sure you're following me on Instagram.

I post a lot about our homeschool journey on Instagram stories, so I'd love for you

to come follow and I always respond to all my direct messages.

If you did like this video, please give it a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel and

share it with a friend.

And I will see you in my next video.

Bye, you guys.

I have met many these days ......

I answered because I can not speak

Because I can not express all that in my mind

The pain became all over my body

What a person gets from love

The labels are as well

I thought love was a good thing

Do love is ruin ...

Who will answer ??

If you love, you have to endure aches

If I were busy

Then you will receive

Thinking about love Hatta morning?

The night was out

You have to stick to patience

I have betrayed my heart today

I saw your lies today

I know you will leave

It is easy to live without you

I did not want to lose

I said you will not promise

Now you do not love me

I did not want to lose

I said you will not promise

Now you do not love me

I remember every morning the pain because of you

Blood stops in the heart

Then call thousands of times

The crumbs answered me ....

What did you say tonight?

Where can I find my answer?

This is what they call treason

That was not all

I think of you all day and night

I can not find you.

The difference is

I love you

I could not wait

I did not want to lose

I said you are no longer

Now you do not love me

I did not want to lose

I said you will not return

Now you do not love me

The True Impact The Supermoon Will Have On Each Zodiac Sign - Duration: 13:32.

February 19, 2019, will show off the biggest Full Moon – Super Moon of 2019.

This will have all of the zodiac signs in emotional overdrive and this is what you need

to expect!

Energy runs high during a Super Moon.

You might feel more emotional, electric, experience sleep disturbances or even have overly expressive

dreams.

You will also find that your intuition is heightened, synchronicity more pronounced

and you become more away or sensitive to the energy of the environment, the people, plants,

animals etc.

The Snow Moon will engulf the night sky in Virgo.

While the Pisces will want to feel things spiritually, the Virgo will want to sense

things more analytically, so it is important that you prepare to feel a strange combination

of the two.

It is important to note that this can turn out to be a positive thing for you!

As with any cosmic happenings, it should be taken as an opportunity to grow, shift and

evolve.

Move beyond the old ways or fragmented energy you have been carrying around with you.

Not all emotions are negative ones!

There are also floods of love and happiness that can change our lives in a positive way.

Allow the Full Moon/ Supermoon energy to transform your life!

Aries Aries now is the time to let go!

Let go of all of the things that are holding you back.

This full moon should be taken as the beginning of something new and wonderful, all you have

to do is let it.

When we don't release all of the behaviors, people and ideas that are holding us back,

we remain stuck.

Try something new.

Take a deep breath, and let it all go!

Taurus In order to get through this time without

any significant health challenges, you need to be sure to focus on your self-care.

Pay careful attention to your diet, how much sleep you are getting, your level of physical

activity and, often overlooked, your stress levels this month!

If you are going to learn one important lesson during this time period, it will be the importance

of leaning on friends and family for support when you are facing difficulties.

These are the people who genuinely want to be there for you and see you smile – they

don't expect you to always be the 'strong one,' so why are you holding onto this impossible

expectation?

You're human, and that's okay!

Gemini For you, this is a time of heightened intelligence

and good health, which will only leave you feeling more empowered to reach out a hand

to those that are struggling.

Pay careful attention at home, as family members may not actively say what is happening, but

they will reveal a lot through subtle shifts in their behaviors.

If you work hard to maintain a stable home life (which is a challenge with your somewhat

flighty and inconsistent approach to life) that will go far to ease the burden that they

are feeling.

You're banking some good karma this month!

Cancer The full moon should be used as motivation

to gather your thoughts and put them into motion.

Use the systematic Virgo energy to get your system in order and learn to delegate and

outsource.

You put too much pressure on yourself, Cancer!

Learn to relax more and stress less.

Leo The Virgo full moon will light up your financials;

bring on the money!

This could be a possible career turning point.

Over the next few weeks, you should seek out more profitable opportunities or find the

courage to come out and ask for a promotion or raise.

Virgo This will be the only full moon in your sign

for the rest of the year.

Right now, the things you have been working on or trying to manifest could finally start

to materialize!

Get ready for this by making a plan and planning your next step.

You cannot and should not stay the same person forever.

All of these changes might sound scary, but please, for yourself, learn to embrace the

new you.

Libra Whether you are single and seeking that 'someone

special,' or in a serious relationship, love may be a little complicated right now.

Try to focus on entertainment and enjoying this time together instead of the more serious

side of commitment, and the rest will follow.

After all, true love is both about the practical side of life together as well as bringing

joy and happiness into one another's lives.

Scorpio During the full moon and the weeks following,

the people you surround yourself with will come under scrutiny.

Ask yourself this: Are you inspired by your social group?

Do they bring out the best in you?

Are you taking care of others and being generous with your spirit?

Take your answers as opportunities to widen your circle or possibly make it smaller.

Sagittarius You're a traveler by nature, and your first

instinct this month as things get rough will be to take off somewhere new and exciting.

Just a quick reminder – running from your problems doesn't work, as they will inevitably

catch up with you.

Instead, stand strong in your convictions.

Not only will you motivate friends and family to face their own troubles in life, but you

will get in touch with your own inner strength.

Capricorn During this time your imagination will know

no bounds.

Shed your typical conservative Capricorn persona and see how far your creativity will take

you.

Maybe it is time for you to finally book that trip that you have always wanted to go on.

Maybe this adventure will be about settling down and building a home for yourself.

Do something that you have never done before!

Aquarius This moon will be transformative and illuminating

for you, so it is important that you prepare for some emotional waves.

You might feel like something in your life is going to come to an end, but

don't look to this as a stalling point.

One end is just another beginning.

Give yourself permission to truly unburden yourself.

Pisces This full moon is going to fall in your house,

so it can inspire a 'desperate' moment.

This can bring a budding attraction to a commitment or give you the courage to make a break for

it.

Relationships are heavy on your mind and really putting a heavy burden on your heart.

No matter where you are in your love life, you are going to notice the

real give and take within your partnership.

Are you giving as much as you are taking?

Are you receiving as much as you are giving?

Just be careful not to lose yourself during this time.

Fridge Tour & What I Eat | All Things Adrienne - Duration: 10:38.

- Hey, what's up?

A lot of you have been asking I think especially

since my house tour what is behind these doors right here.

You wanna know what I eat, what do I stock up on,

is this thing organized?

Today is the day for the big reveal where I'm gonna show you

what's in my fridge.

(upbeat music)

Here we go.

(upbeat music)

(laughing)

I thought that was gonna be a bit smoother.

It's like, crash, crash.

Literally this is not staged you guys.

Like, I'm slightly concerned about what's in here.

This is almond milk, unsweetened.

This is what Israel uses for his coffee every single day.

And now I use it for a lot of stuff too because surprise,

I am officially now vegan.

Or attempting to be vegan.

I've actually done it for a few weeks now

and I love it so this is now a part

of my whole diet as well.

This is celery juice.

Okay, so as you may have noticed when I opened both doors

I am celery juice obsessed.

I actually follow this person on Instagram

called The Medical Medium.

He put me onto celery juice so now Israel and I

are both on this major celery juice kick.

And we juice every single morning.

We have 16 ounces.

If we haven't made it ourself,

Lana actually goes to Wholefoods and gets it done for me.

If you're not about that life,

get on this celery juice life, it's bomb.

I'm gonna continue to drink this

while we continue doing this.

The other thing

that I am absolutely obsessed with is H2Rose.

You guys know that you can use rose water on your face

when you cleanse your face but now you can actually

drink it and it's just as good for your skin.

We've got orange juice, we've got mango juice back here.

We've also got grapefruit juice, organic grapefruit juice.

This 100% is for my nieces.

They drink chocolate milk.

Actually Jet used to call it leche lache.

Just random fun fact, but yeah.

Moving right along.

Vitality shots.

Let me know if any of you guys do these in the morning.

I like to stock up on them

and just shoot 'em first thing in the morning.

This is turmeric, lemon, coconut water, and black pepper.

Again, it's so you don't make sure

you get sick during the winter and I love having these.

I actually always have these in the morning at The Real.

And they're awesome.

Ginger beer.

Isarael loves ginger beer.

It doesn't have actual beer in it, people.

Before you guys come on here talking about

he's a Christian man, why he drinking beer?

It's ginger beer.

Okay, moving right along.

What else do I have?

Crandopholis for urinary tract.

What the hell?

Oh, I don't know why they're in the fridge

but they should stay there.

Okay, one thing I do see here that's kind of crazy.

Do you see this?

I want you to know that as a wife, I took the time

to make guac for my husband.

I not only created this amazing presentation with pine nuts,

a little cilantro on top.

And I told him, babe, I left you some guac in the fridge

while I go to work at The Real.

I'm so glad that he enjoyed my hard work, my labor.

You know, that arm work.

Here it is.

It's now gone bad and he never touched it.

That's so wack.

Okay.

And a good ol', yes.

Look.

I'm just like you.

I got baking soda in my fridge too.

Okay, make sure it's not all stinky in here.

Now with my new New Years diet, I've got Ezekiel bread here.

Ezekiel bread is really good.

I actually love to do avocado toast on Ezekiel bread

for breakfast in the morning.

It's one of my favorite things to do.

Even though I'm currently not doing eggs, Isarael does eggs

for protein and I think this is awesome.

One of my favorite things to make him

actually is these hard boiled eggs.

I love that they come already boiled.

How dope is this?

Look, it's for like on the go.

It goes with two eggs and look at the pack.

It has pepper, and salt.

Anytime he is running around I try to make sure

that my man gets his protein in so I pack these for him

and I also keep them with myself as well if ever I'm

dying or struggling, I'll still do the white of the egg.

I just don't like the way the yolk tastes.

What do we have over here?

Me and my to go stuff.

My leftovers.

What the hell?

Are these Brussels sprouts?

Oh no, these gotta go.

Lana.

(laughs)

Sauteed mushrooms, salt, pepper, Parmesan cheese,

and truffle oil, that was good.

This was actually before I went vegan so again

the Parmesan cheese, no thank you, Lana, boom.

Grilled eggplant, zucchini, salt, pepper,

and extra virgin oil.

Ooh, expired, bye.

(gasps)

Guys.

(ethereal music)

This is my joy right here.

Vegan almond cheesecake.

Vegan almond chocolate cheesecake.

Raw vegan almond chocolate cheesecake.

And it tastes bomb.

I feel like sometimes I just come to the fridge,

I do this, I get my fix, and then I leave.

Love that.

And this was actually a gift from Julisa.

It's got water hibiscus, cinnamon, lemon,

apple cider vinegar, raw cane juice,

cherries, ginger, mint, pimento, and agave.

Thank you Julie.

Okay, now we're going on to the drawer

and I see literally all of my vegan cheeses.

So the one thing that I wasn't sure I could give up

when I became a vegan was cheese.

I'm like, guys, I'm just too French

to give up cheese, you know.

I had to check out every single fake cheese there was,

vegan cheese, so I got this one.

Sun dried tomato with garlic, this chow slices,

tofu cheese, smoke Gouda, wink wink, dairy-free.

Is it goo-da or gow-da?

Gouda.

Isarael is not a vegan, I am, so sometimes stuff

is still in here so we've got bacon, sausage.

No home is complete without good ol' sweet Hawaiian,

these aren't just any kind of crescents, oh no, Hawaiian.

You know that it's not Isarael's home

if it doesn't have cookies in it.

His favorite dessert of all time is cookies.

So there are random nights where he's like

will you bake me some cookies?

Now we've got the door.

We clearly have way too many things.

We love sriracha in this house.

We love hot sauce.

For a minute there we were doing

the apple cider vinegar every morning.

But the one thing that's standing out to me right now

is good ol' Bobby Brown's BBQ sauce, booyah.

He actually came to our show and the BBQ sauce is bomb,

I'm not gonna lie.

And the cool thing about it is it's gluten-free.

I'm here for you, Bobby.

Now for the other side.

What do we have over here?

Of course more celery.

We are very serious about this and we stock up

on our celery because I think other people

are catching on to how amazing celery juice is

because the other day we were trying to Instacart

and they were out of celery.

Every place was out of celery and we're like, oh no.

People know.

We've got blueberries, watermelon, salads,

arugula is my favorite salad, spinach as well.

Up here, Isarael's vitamins

and the vitamins I take every morning.

They're Vemma, amazing.

Good stuff.

The guac that you buy in the store that's miraculously

somehow does not turn brown.

Let me know in the comments below if you know why this one

didn't turn brown but the one I made for Isarael

turned brown overnight.

And I put lemon in it so don't say that.

I put lemon in and I put lime in it.

Actually, I just put lime.

Oh my gosh.

Who does not love sweet tea?

Gotta love it.

So we keep that on hand.

People come to our house and they're like,

yo, you got that sweet tea?

We're like, yup.

Sweet tea, keep that on hand.

I recently have been making incredible apple pie pancakes

that are vegan and instead of eggs we add apple sauce

and it's amazing.

It actually tastes like apple bread.

Like pumpkin bread but it's apple bread.

And it's phenomenal.

Absolutely delicious and if I can convince my husband

then you know it's really good.

In the drawers.

Lemons, limes, peppers, cucumbers.

Fresh garlic.

I make myself garlic tea constantly.

Garlic is amazing.

It's got so many good healing properties

so I always have fresh gar, fresh--

that's actually ginger.

Everybody that was ginger, yeah.

Love, love, love ginger.

What else do we have?

You can't go wrong with whipped cream.

That's not vegan.

Recaito, you gotta have some Goya in your fridge.

Some garlic, minced garlic.

We've got pesto sauce.

I don't know what my husband's doing with these random

coffee beans in the fridge.

Whoa.

Guys, I love pure sesame oil.

If I just put just the littlest bit on my salad

I can literally eat an entire salad

and it's like, yes, greens.

What do we have in here?

Okay, we've got sugar-free popsicles on one side.

Goya empanada discs, naturally,

so we can make our empanadas.

What is this?

Restore?

Who's restoring?

This is kind of a random.

I should use this.

Oh my, whoa, that's really cold though.

Oh my gosh.

I'm about to take this off and look so refreshed.

Are you ready?

(ethereal music)

Okay, so when I went vegan I was like, okay,

let me find the things that I know are gonna be a struggle.

One, ice cream and two, cheese.

You already saw all my cheeses so now it was finding out

who had the best vegan ice cream.

Vegan pistachio ice cream.

Not gonna front, it was actually amazing.

That was vegan.

This one is not but you know I love the black olive

brittle and goat cheese.

You already know all about that.

From the crazy things I eat.

That's one of my favorite flavors.

And on this side, here goes the vegan ones.

The Elvis peanut butter banana split, vegan.

We've got oatmeal moon pies

and aquafaba marshmallows, vegan.

And toasted coconut milk and cookies

which is my favorite one, vegan.

This one's the prize for me.

I absolutely love it.

I kind of want some right now.

That's what's in my fridge and my freezer.

I hope you guys enjoyed the big reveal

and that maybe it gave you some insight into who I am,

what I like.

Celery juice, stay focused good people.

And don't forget to subscribe, muah.

Break Out of Your Winter Fitness Funk! A Personal Trainer Shares His Best Tips - News Today - Duration: 4:52.

You know you should work out. But it's mid-winter. It's cold. You've already fallen off your new year's resolution

Your couch is calling you — and it has pizza.  "We've all been there," says Boston-based personal trainer and fitness model Parker Cote

"I struggle with it, too, especially living in the northeast where it's cold and dark and easier to hide under a sweater and watch Netflix

" Here are his best tips for pushing through. Get push notifications with news, features and more

Follow Following You'll get the latest updates on this topic in your browser notifications

Think of ways to break up the monotony, says Cote. Download a new playlist, buy cool workout gear or add a social element by bringing a friend to the gym

Beat boredom by changing your routine or taking a new class. "If you usually train with weights, try yoga or a spin class

If you're a runner, go to a boxing class," he says. "Breaking up your pattern will help you feel motivated

"  Get yourself to the gym first thing so your workout doesn't hang over you all day, says Cote

An early sweat session will also boost your endorphins and put you in a better mood, which is especially important when there are fewer hours of daylight

"When I first opened my studio, I was working crazy hours and my workouts took a back seat," he says

"I'd always trained at 5 p.m., but after a long day, the last thing I wanted to do was work out

" So he switched to morning workouts and felt much better. And, he admits, he can relax guilt-free at night

Get creative about what works for you. "On days I don't want to work out, I order a coffee from my bed using an app on my phone," he says, laughing

"It forces me to get out of bed and go the coffee shop next to the gym. Once I'm there, I'm one step closer to my workout

"  Unless you're feeling seriously under the weather, try to maintain your routine

"When you take one day off, it's a lot easier to take two days off, and then three or four

" The best thing you can do on tired days, says Cote, is a light workout. "It doesn't have to be a perfect workout

Just get your body moving and get the blood flowing. You'll likely end up feeling more energized in the end

"  In the winter you tend to crave unhealthy carbs, but if you give into them too often it can make you more tired and lethargic, says Cote

"It's a vicious cycle that can contribute to weight gain." When you want a warm, cozy dish at night, try smart swaps like salmon with lentils, zucchini noodles or cauliflower rice with a flavorful sauce

It's a way to get the comfort-food feel without the empty calories.  "Lack of motivation happens to everyone in the winter," says Cote

The key is to incorporate some type of movement into your everyday routine. Hit the gym for just a short time, or bundle up and take a walk

"You don't need the perfect plan," says Cote. "As long as you move and keep that momentum going for yourself, you will still be able to enjoy the mental, emotional and physical benefits of fitness

A BEGINNER'S GUIDE TO AUDIO INTERFACES - Duration: 2:56.

You are setting up your home recording studio and now you need to choose an interface but

you are not really sure on what to get!

I am Giorgio from DIY Recording Hacks and welcome to the beginners guide to Audio Interfaces!

An Audio Interface is an essential component for your home recording studio, it's what

bridges your microphone with your computer.

The Audio Interface generally have two portions: The Preamplifier which will boost the signal

coming from your microphone to an acceptable level and an analog to digital and digital

to analog converter which it will convert signals from analog to digital and vice versa.

I like to call this the hub of a home recording studio.

You can certainly buy a preamplifiers and a converter separately and make them work

together but this solution typically will come to cost a lot.

There are many Audio Interfaces on the market that will connect to your computer with different

connectors.

Most commonly there are: USB interfaces, Firewire interfaces and thunderbolt interfaces.

All these interfaces with these three types of connections will come at different price

ranges.

I always recommend you start with a USB interface because they are very cost effective.

The next feature you should take in the consideration is the amount of inputs and outputs you need,

if you are a solo artist and you will be recording maximum two tracks at the time, I recommend

you go with an interface that has two inputs and two outputs, but if you need to record

let's say a drum set I would recommend to start with 8 inputs.

One of the most popular question is:"are audio interfaces expandable?"

My answer is that not every audio interface can be expanded, but if you need to expand

your inputs and outputs I recommend to get an interface with ADAT connectors which it

will allow you to get another set of preamps that you can hook up to your main interface

via the digital connection.

So that you can add inputs and outputs as your needs grow.

Another popular question is:"Should I worry about the sampling rate?

In my opinion you shouldn't worry because CDs require 44.1k and if you are doing music

for video 48k you are required to record in 48k and most interfaces support these two

sampling rates.

Having a higher sampling rate is a plus in that rare case you need a higher sampling

rate, but nowadays day most music comes down to either 44.1 or 48k.

Now I want to help you further, in the description I have a link where you can download my Audio

Interface Buying Guide where I will list some interfaces with different price ranges and

features so that you can choose the one that suits your needs best.

They are all interfaces that I recommend you to start from.

That's all for today I hope you enjoyed the video subscribe to this channel for more

videos, leave a like if you enjoyed the video.

and I will see you the next time!

Goodloe Sutton: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com - Duration: 11:52.

Goodloe Sutton: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com

Goodloe Sutton, the 79-year-old editor and publisher of a small Alabama newspaper founded by his father a century ago suggests that the Ku Klux Klan should robe up and ride into Washington D.C.

under the cover of darkness and lynch Democratic lawmakers, elected officials he claims are actually "socialist communists." Sutton's paper is the Democrat-Reporter, a small weekly with a circulation of around 2,000.

It wasn't always struggling and once had a much wider readership, but not unlike many newspapers in small local markets, it's struggled to survive, it was reported.

It's a relic.

And now some are saying good riddance.

Sutton's paper has an apparent history of racist reporting and editorials.

Democrat Sen.

Bobby Singleton of Greensboro, Alabama told AL.com that Sutton has "been making that kind of racist epithets for a long time …Goodloe is just being Goodloe as far as I'm concerned."   Here's what you need to know: 1.

Sutton Said the KKK Should Night Ride Again   Editors at nearby small papers, including a collegiate one, saw the editorial.

The Democrat-Reporter in Linden, Alabama doesn't have a website; it's strictly ink-on-paper for the couple thousand readers.

When the Montgomery Advertiser called Sutton to confirm if he, in fact, wrote the editorial that ran in his paper last week, he said yes, it was him.

This is what he wrote (this report has not been edited): "Time for the Ku Klux Klan tonight ride again.

Democrats in the Republican Party and Democrats are plotting to raise taxes in Alabama.

They do not understand how to eliminate expenses when money is needed in other areas.

This socialist communist ideology sounds good to the ignorant, the uneducated, and the simpleminded people.

People who do not understand the constitution do not like to be responsible.

Slaves, just freed after the Civil War, were not stupid.

At times, they borrowed their former masters' robes and horses and rode through the night to frighten some evil doer.

Sometimes they had to kill one or two of them, but so what.

This is the same so what used when Democrats got us into World War I and World War II.

Then they got us fighting in Korea.

Next when the industrial northeast wanted more money, they got us in the Vietnam war, and now in the Middle East war.

If you haven't noticed, they did away with the draft so their sons would not have to go into battle.

Seems like the Klan would be a welcome to raid the gated communities up there they called him compounds now.

Truly, they are the ruling class." Sutton told the paper, "If we could get the Klan to go up there and clean out D.C., we'd all been better off."   Apparently, he was referring to Democrats in Congress.

"Asked to elaborate what he meant by 'cleaning up D.C.,' Sutton suggested lynching.

'We'll get the hemp ropes out, loop them over a tall limb and hang all of them,' Sutton said.

When asked if he felt it was appropriate for the publisher of a newspaper to call for the lynching of Americans, Sutton doubled down on his position.

'… It's not calling for the lynchings of Americans.

These are socialist-communists we're talking about.

Do you know what socialism and communism is?' Sutton said." 2.

Sutton Has a History of Racist Rhetoric & 'Racial References in Headlines & Stories …Some Dismiss Them as Examples of Goodloe Being Goodloe'    .

In a story from the Advertiser in 2015, 'Small-town publisher tries to hold on,' Sutton's paper's financial problems were explored.

As was his journalism legacy in the region, but also, mention, albeit brief, of Sutton's prior racist journalism: 'Selma black thugs murder Demopolite Saturday night.' Meaning a resident of Demopolis, Alabama.

"Some of the news programs are making a big to-do about black football players kneeling in the stadiums.

That's what black folks were taught to do 200 years ago, kneel before the white man.

Is that it? Let them kneel!".

Journalist chip Brownlee, who first tweeted about Sutton's Klan editorial said, " love and value local journalism.

But this newspaper has a history of bad decisions.

When a local 9-year-old black girl died by suicide after racist bullying, the Democrat-Reporter ran this headline.".

Sutton's a University of Southern Mississippi Journalism Hall of Fame Member, a Chamber of Commerce Leader & Said a DUI From 2004 Was a Police Set-Up.

Sutton and his wife Jean, also a journalist and who passed away in 2003, were graduates of The University of Southern Mississippi.

The school of journalism inducted them into their Hall of Fame in 2007.

"Southern Miss graduates, Goodloe and Jean Sutton, lived their lives and shared their journalism careers together, beginning when they both worked on the staff of The Student Printz, Goodloe as an executive editor and Jean as a business manager," the University wrote.

"In 1964, they went to work for The Democrat-Reporter in Linden, Alabama – Goodloe as editor and publisher and Jean as a reporter.".

They founded and owned several local newspapers in Demopolis, Camden, Thomasville and Sumter County, Alabama.

Southern Miss said the couple was "well respected civic leaders in Linden and in Western Alabama.".

Indeed, Sutton is a Vestavia Hills Chamber of Commerce trustee, local civic organizations' leader and well known in the small town.

But when he was busted and pleaded guilty to driving under the influence, he later said he was set up by police because of his paper's reporting on local corruption in the sheriff's office, as was reported by the Tuscaloosa News.

The Sutton's Were ThisClose to a Pulitzer for Investigative Reporting on Police Corruption.

In the 1990s, the paper's investigative and watchdog reporting that exposed corruption in the local sheriff's office "was recognized with numerous regional, national and international journalism awards, including the Society of Professional Journalists Sunshine Award and the Hugh M.

Hefner First Amendment Award.

Though years later, Sutton would say that his wife Jean was the reason the paper was able to publish the reports it did.

The Advertiser wrote in 2015, "He always credited her with laboring over courthouse records that helped The Democrat-Reporter win acclaim for exposing crooked cops, Marengo County's sorry former sheriff who got his hand caught in the public's cookie jar and an assortment of other ne'er-do-wells.

According to the Congressional Record, then-Rep.

Earl F Hilliard in 1998 did an official tribute to Sutton in the House of Representatives.

Hilliard said the town was "lucky because they have such a brave and fearless man of letters to look after their interests." Hilliard said the paper's investigative series on police corruption showed he was a man of "integrity" who "suffered many many injustices at the hands of the sheriff's department." The congressman said Sutton was a man who believed in the principle of equal justice under the law.

Sutton's Father Founded the Paper in 1917.

It Celebrated Its Centennial 2 Years Ago.

Some Say it's Time to Put the Paper to Bed.

For Good.

"OMG! What rock did this guy crawl out from under? This editorial is absolutely disgusting & he should resign -NOW!.

I have seen what happens when we stand by while people-especially those with influence- publish racist, hateful views.

"You know you've been working in the newspaper business in Alabama too long when you see the headline "Alabama newspaper editor calls for Klan return to 'clean out D.

' " and think, "I bet it was Goodloe Sutton.

FOX TV - Should I ditch funds axed by Hargreaves Lansdown's Wealth 50? - Duration: 10:18.

What do you do when a firm whose ideas you respect suddenly pulls the rug from under your investments?Hargreaves Lansdown last week revamped its Wealth 150 list of favourite investments into a Wealth 50 (actually 63 funds)

The new slimline list meant a stack of funds used by its 1.1 million investors — in some cases for more than a decade —were cast into the wilderness

Hargreaves isn't telling investors to sell and anyone can still invest in them. But it argues that the Wealth 50 funds are better value and cheaper

Stick or twist? Hargreaves Lansdown has dropped a stack of funds from its list of favourite investments - but does that mean you should ditch them too? This list is hugely influential with investors

The update provoked a massive spat with stock picker Terry Smith, whose own fund, Fundsmith Equity, was not included even though it has given investors — me among them — a 270 per cent return in eight years

Hargreaves argues that Lindsell Train Global Equity — which I also hold — covers a similar investment span and has produced better returns recently for a lower charge — 0

52 per cent a year against Fundsmith's 0.95 per cent. How far the similarities go is debatable: Fundsmith is 63 per cent in the U

S. while Lindsell Train is about a third there and a third in the UK. RELATED ARTICLES Previous 1 2 Next SIMON LAMBERT: It's easy to dismiss top fund lists as fluff Hargreaves Lansdown slashes its top funds list down to a new

Share this article Share HOW THIS IS MONEY CAN HELP How to choose the best (and cheapest) DIY investing Isa - and our pick of the platforms Hargreaves says it bases its selections on a distinguished career, a fantastic track record and a robust investment process — and charges

But consider Jupiter European, a fund I have held for many years which is now excluded, despite a maximum five stars and gold rating by fund analyst Morningstar

Manager Alexander Darwall has been at the helm since January 31, 2001. Since then, the fund has been ranked number one against similar European funds, giving an average 9

81 per cent return a year. Put another way, a £10,000 investment would have grown to £53,508

It is also a top performer over one and ten years. I won't be selling.Charges are important and can make a significant impact on returns

Jupiter European charges 1.03 per cent a year, while Barings Europe Select, which does make the cut, charges 0

7 per cent to Hargreaves clients. On an initial £10,000 investment that grew by 6 per cent a year, this difference would wipe £8,545 from the growth over 20 years

But investment returns are key and Jupiter beat Barings over six months, one, five and ten years

Among other funds I hold that have vanished are Artemis Strategic Assets, Fidelity Special Situations, Merian (formerly Old Mutual) UK Smaller Companies and Standard Life UK Smaller Companies

While Hargreaves can be praised for giving a spanking to fund managers who won't reduce their charges, there are serious implications for investors

Hargreaves will continue to provide detailed research on excluded funds for 12 months, but after this it will depend on how popular each is with clients

Some will be wondering whether to stick or twist. My feeling is that, in general, we should stick

Use this as an opportunity to take a look at your funds and ask whether they still meet your needs and whether you are happy with the returns you have received

Are they still doing what you want them to do?If they still tick the boxes, then with markets this volatile it is no time to be trading in unit trusts

The archaic trading system — where most funds are valued once a day at midday — means you have no idea what price you will receive

If you clicked sell at 9am today, your fund would be traded based on its valuation at midday tomorrow

Its value could fall 2 or 3 per cent in that time as we go through a day-and-a-half trading in the UK, a full day in the U

S. and overnight in the Far East.Once you have sold, markets could leap again before you buy something else, adding to potential losses

One man who kept his place on the list despite his fund underperforming recently was Neil Woodford - Hargreaves said that is down to his long track record and maintaining 'conviction'Investors may be surprised to see one name still on the list: that is Neil Woodford, whose Income fund has been the source of much disappointment

I lost patience last year after more than two decades of investing with Woodford as I felt that there were better homes for my money

No doubt they will be proved right eventually — but so were the doom-mongers who predicted a downturn for each of the past ten years

Wealth 50 vs Super 60  Hargreaves isn't the only firm with a new top funds list, Interactive Investor also launched its Super 60 last week

That list includes investment trusts too, so how does it compare, what funds are on both lists and are these selections useful?Read editor Simon Lambert's view on the top fund lists

It's just that both will have missed some nice profits in the meantime.A final thought

If Hargreaves is putting price at the forefront of its strategy, then investors can justifiably claim hypocrisy as it refuses to tackle its own fees

With a basic management fee of 0.45 per cent a year, it is expensive compared with most peers

Its service may be superb but so are its profits, which hit £265.8 million last year with a net margin of 52

88 per cent.Tesco, a real supermarket rather than an investment one, has a margin of 1

64 per cent.Hargreaves can afford to cut clients' fees and should make this a priority in 2019
