Instagram Hashtags for Restaurants Advanced Tips - Duration: 9:03.
I've got some tips to help your restaurant have better results (meaning score more paying
customers) on Instagram with some hashtag hacks.
One tip will definitely shock you.
Let's get into Instagram Hashtags for Restaurants Advanced Tips!
Hey, what's up everybody, it's Stacey Storino from Restaurant Shortcut, with another
video that'll help you grow BOTH your restaurant's social media AND its profit margin!
Welcome back to the channel.
For the new people here who have no idea who I am, over the years I've worked with multiple
six figure and seven figure food service establishments to help them grow their businesses via social
media.
My work has led to features in the Wall Street Journal, ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox News and more.
If this is your first time here, and you want to learn the tips and tricks of commanding
diners' attention—which is ever more focused on their social feed where your restaurant
needs to be found—start NOW by smashing that subscribe button and clicking the bell
notification so that you don't miss a thing!
Let's get down to Instagram Hashtags for Restaurants Advanced Tips.
Now as a Restaurant Owner, you may already know what hashtags are.
Hashtags on Instagram are a way to index your content on the platform itself.
You know how on Google you can search for a particular keyword or search term and pull
up results?
Well, it works the same on Instagram; people can search on a particular hashtag, and if
you've used that hashtag when posting your content, they'll likely find YOUR content
in their search results on Instagram.
People can actually follow hashtags themselves, too, not just personal accounts or business
accounts.
So if you AS a restaurateur are smart when it comes to your hashtag strategy for each
piece of content that you publish on Instagram, then your food service establishment can be
found multiple ways on that platform.
For best results, you'll want to have set up and optimized your restaurant's Instagram
account first.
If you're not sure whether you've done that properly, no worries.
I've got a video covering that very topic on this channel.
And you may also know as a Restaurateur that you can use up to 30 hashtags to help to index
each and every piece of content that you post on Instagram.
You may know that the more hashtags you use, the more ways in which someone can find your
restaurant when cruising through the Instagram search feature.
And as more people join Instagram every day, the more people will be using its search feature
while they're on the platform.
That's a fact.
But that's good news for you as a restaurant owner, since using relevant, targeted hashtags
is still one of the best ways to get discovered by new audiences on Instagram.
More eyeballs on your posts increases the potential for more engagement, more followers
and…if you've piqued their interest enough, more customers for your restaurant.
But, from a restaurant owners' specific perspective, you may NOT have known how crucial
it is to use your entire allotment of 30 hashtags in the way in which a local business such
as your own needs to do.
And that means that, for your restaurant, a brick and mortar business, yes, you're
going to hashtag about whatever dish or menu item is being featured in your post.
BUT what's nearly more important than THAT is the use of location-based hashtags so that
you can effectively connect with your community.
People use location-based hashtag searches on Instagram to keep tabs on their community
and to scout out local events and places with new and interesting things going on, so using
SEVERAL location-based hashtags will help put your restaurant on the radar with people
that didn't even know it existed.
So, let's say for example that your next post on Instagram features your Jalapeno Cheddar
Burger and you need to come up with an effective hashtagging strategy for it.
Here's my Instagram Hashtags for Restaurants Advanced Tips.
Tip One: Use all 30 hashtags.
Period.
Each hashtag represents a way in which your restaurant can be discovered on Instagram.
You can't pass up on 30 free opportunities to be found, per piece of content, can you?
Tip Two: At least 10 of the hashtags that you use should NOT only include the name of
your establishment but should ALSO otherwise include the use of location-based hashtags.
Of course, you should use a hashtag that represents the municipality in which your restaurant
is located.
And sure, you should use a hashtag for the county in which your restaurant sits, and
even hashtags for the state and the region of the state that it's in.
But you don't stop there!
You should use location-based hashtags for at least every single one of the municipalities
that border the one that your restaurant sits in, too.
Seriously, people are likely going to search on Instagram in order to see what's going
on, not only within the boundaries of their own municipality, but in nearby ones, too.
Those places aren't too far away, so they're likely to consider going there.
And if your restaurant is in a place nearby and you've enticed them with your posts—voila,
the potential for a new customer is there.
Back to the food itself.
In this example, would you use #jalapenocheddarburger?
Of course!
That has everything to do with the post and actually, it's not a bad place to be competitive
to gain both a local and global audience, since the number of posts for that specific
hashtag as of the making of this video, is well under 1,000.
So you'll have a great opportunity to be found there if someone's searching for that
specific burger.
As a restaurant owner, you may find this next piece of advice surprising.
You could try broader-based hashtags like, in this example, #burgers or #hamburgers but
those have millions of posts for each hashtag.
I'm not saying don't do it, but as a restaurant, that might not be your best play.
It's up to you, but I'd rather research what other local and regional hashtags are
on Instagram that can draw more eyeballs on your content that belong to people who can
actually dine at your establishment.
This can vary, but for Joe's Dairy Bar and Grill, who is located in the lower Hudson
Valley region of New York State, hashtags they're likely to use would include #lohud,
#lohudfood and #lohudfoodie
See what I mean?
Instagram for a restaurant is great in terms of showcasing pictures of your gorgeous location
and delicious dishes.
People eat with their eyes, or so the saying goes.
So give them a digital look book by filling up your feed with food and fun.
And Instagram is a great place for you to meet current and potential new customers socially,
where you can engage with one another, follow each other and otherwise comment and interact
with each other.
I've got a video on my channel that will take you through the great ways to network
on Instagram as a restaurateur, so be sure to check it out.
But if you're not employing a strong hashtag strategy that's more location-based than
anything else, you're not harnessing the true power of Instagram . So, sure, use hashtags
having to do with your food specifically.
Choose a blend of hashtags that have a lot of posts and hashtags that have maybe less
than 5,000 or so posts.
But overall, your best play as a restaurant is to use Instagram as an ever stronger search
engine on which your establishment can be more easily found, one maximized post at a
time.

Oh, yeah!
How about some music, Shelly baby?
Ah! Got anything less ear-bleeding?
This is awful!
Correction, this is Master Donnie's number one playlist.
My fave songs to which I may jammy jam.
Great massage, bro.
You know, this is your first non-boneheaded invention.
How dast you insult one as selfless and as pure as Master Donatello.
What he said.
Cool-ax, I'm just razzin' him, bud
Are we talkin' or crazy 'coptering?
I'm laying a hurt on you here, bro.
No, no, no, no! I will not be defeated!
[screaming]
Ha-ha.
What was that? Did Sheldon make my game glitch?
- I would never. - He would never!
Oh look, I won the game.
A victory massage please, Sheldon.
- Hey! - Where'd my relax go?
Oh, yeah. Tennis ball massages are the best.
Oh, yeah.
Hey, did you program him to be your best bud or something?
- I would never! - He would never.
Please, nothing is more important to me
than the happiness and comfort of my brothers.
- Oh! Ah! - Ah!
Ah!
- No! - No, no, no, ah!
My Tony's!
Why do they have to tear down everything that's beautiful in the world?
Truth is, I had no answers, just ideas.
Boys, Pizza Week is not just a week.
It is a week about family coming together.
It's seven days of putting aside what makes us different,
and coming together as pizza lovers.
Does he think we don't know what a week is?
I wasn't sure they knew what a week was.
Five weekdays and a weekend!
That culminate in me eating my favorite pizza,
in the whole wide crazy world.
Does he know that those mutants are on their way to sinkhole
Mike and Lou, the brothers of Tony's Pizza?
Huh? Say what now?
Didn't you hear those mutants say, "Three down, one to go"?
Yeah, but they could be talking about anything, right?
Right?
This is a random health inspection Everybody out!
Health inspection?
Sir, we've received reports that, uh...
I can't do it, guys.
- It'll ruin him. - I got it.
I'll be Dr. Delicate Touch.
You got bugs!
[screaming]
I had it in my hands! I was literally ready to leave.
What part of 'by myself' don't you understand?
- Little man. - What? Say what?
I mean, big man, I will open up my apology wallet,
and give you a big stack of--
Yeah, yeah. Mistakes were made, lessons were learned.
We've got a video game to play, so vamanos hermanos.
Ha-ha!
Ah-ha!
Ha! Solo mission complete.
- We're here to rescue you. - No!
I had it in my hands! I was literally ready to leave.
What part of 'by myself' don't you understand?
Yeah, she gets it.
Stay out of this, you little pip squeak!
Whoa, whose brother you calling a pip squeak, toe head?
Maybe you're the pip squeak.
I'll protect you, Mikey!
Wait a minute. That is not the artifact we seek.
It's the only Lou Jitsu thing here.
Well, then your mission is a bust, on a technicality of course.
But don't be discouraged.
The road to success is paved with miles of failure.
I shall prove I am worthy next time!
Yes, yes, I know. Come, we'll get a nice falafel.
The fairy's too far, and we're running out of time!
We'll never get Splinter's hugs.
In that case, for speed, efficiency and fun,
may I suggest New York's most enjoyably unreliable and deliciously
claustrophobic mode of transit?
- The subway. - Ah!
[growling]
Whose hand is that? That's a hand. Right? Who is touching me?
I feel like I can feel Dad's hugs and spoiler alert, they are plush.
You have invaded the Dragon Master's personal space!
Altering, exit now.
New York, what a town.

Are you sitting down? Linda OKeefes sister learns of arrest in 11 year olds 1973 ki11ing Los Angel
Cindy Borgeson was eating a cheeseburger at In N Out when she got a call from Newport Beach police that she thought would never come.
It had been more than four decades since her 11 year old sister, Linda Ann OKeefe, was sexually assaulted and strangled. The killer had vanished after dumping the girls body among the cattails in the citys scenic Back Bay.
Borgeson, who was 18 when Linda was killed, was resigned that detectives might never find the man responsible. Her Christian faith gave her the strength to forgive the faceless perpetrator and move forward, she said.
The phone call jolted her back, to that painful time when her sisters body was found in 1973. The detective on the other end asked if she was sitting down.
Borgeson had been in touch regularly with investigators over the last several months after authorities , but the news was still unexpected.
I really in my wildest dreams never thought this would be the outcome, she said.
The break in the case came from technology that would have baffled most in the 1970s, an era better known for Watergate and the Vietnam War than cutting edge investigative tools.
Back then, DNA testing wasnt available. Instead, investigators tested bodily fluids and blood left at crime scenes for proteins that helped provide clues or narrow a list of suspects.
However, that was far from an exact science, which made DNA testing so crucial when it arrived on the scene, said David Kaye, a lawyer and Pennsylvania State University professor who teaches the law of evidence and applications of forensic science.
Newport Beach detectives in 2018 contacted Parabon NanoLabs, a Virginia based medical lab, which used DNA from the crime scene to calculate a , gender, ancestry, freckles and skin tone, eye and hair color.
But detectives still couldnt put a name with the computer sketch. They had checked the DNA against databases of convicted felons over the years but continued to come up empty handed.
That changed in January when investigators tapped FamilyTreeDNA.com, a genealogical database that the public uses to search for relatives and ancestors.
Private companies that provide ancestry searches from DNA samples submitted by paying participants usually also guarantee privacy for their users. However, customers are alerted to potential matches and can then use the service to connect with possible relatives.
Anybody who uploads DNA thinking, Maybe Ill discover a long lost relative, is running the risk that the DNA will be used in a police investigation, Kaye said. You also run the risk of finding out that one of your known relatives is a killer.
As genealogical websites grow in popularity, so does their use as an investigative tool for law enforcement.
Genealogical DNA made a major debut as a last year after authorities announced they had used it to arrest the suspected Golden State Killer, so named for a string of attacks that included more than 50 rapes and at least 13 slayings throughout California from 1974 to 1986.
Lindas death haunted Newport Beach residents, who were afraid to let their children play outside or walk to school alone in their typically safe community.
For those of us who were there in 1973, weve never forgotten it, Councilman Brad Avery said. This happened at a time that was simpler. Were more hardened today because times have changed.
Linda vanished July 6, 1973, on her way home from summer school at what was then Lincoln Intermediate now Lincoln Elementary in Corona del Mar. She had called her mother for a ride home that afternoon but was told to walk instead a detail that Borgeson said consumed her mother with guilt until she died in 2005.
The day Linda went missing, her mother became worried when the girl didnt arrive home. She started making calls, first to friends and neighbors, and later that evening to police. Borgeson helped search, but she was less concerned. She figured her middle sister was being disobedient and would be in trouble when she finally arrived home.
She never imagined Linda might not return.
During their search, police uncovered a few clues that something nefarious may have happened, but nothing conclusive was found. A girl and her mother who saw Linda walking the day she disappeared told detectives that she had stopped near Marguerite Avenue and Inlet Drive, where a turquoise van was parked along the curb with its door ajar. The driver was described as a man in his mid 20s or early 30s with curly hair.
It was the last time Linda was seen alive by family or friends. A woman who lived on the bluff above where Lindas body was found a day later told detectives she had heard a female scream, Stop, youre hurting me, shortly after 11 p.m. the day Linda disappeared. An autopsy determined the girl had probably been killed around midnight.
Investigators collected and preserved semen left on Lindas body. As detectives hunted for her killer, Lindas family tried to move forward. Borgeson eventually let go of her anger, but she said her parents never fully recovered from the pain of losing a child.
She would have been 57 this year. I wonder sometimes what kind of life she would have lived. Would she be married? Have a family? Probably, Borgeson said. I dont dwell on that because that wasnt her outcome.
This week, Borgeson has found a quiet joy sharing memories of Linda with reporters who knock on the door of her home in Arizona. Her sister, whom she knew as the frog whisperer because of her aptitude for catching the amphibians during family trips to Mammoth, was an old soul, she said.
She just had this spirituality to her thats hard to put into words, Borgeson said. I know in my heart that Linda was in heaven celebrating with our parents when they arrested him.

How To Replace A Bike Inner Tube - Duration: 2:31.
Now, before we begin you'll need to do a couple of things. Firstly check you have
the right inner tube for your bike. To do this, have a look at the inside of the
tire wall. For this bike it's 27.5 by 1.95. You'll also need the following:
A pump, pliers, gloves and some tyre levers. Grab your tyre levers, take the valve cap
off the wheel and put the hook which is inside the tyre lever up into the valve.
Push it down to release any excess air to help remove the tyre from the rim.
Now grab your other tyre lever, rotate the wheel a little, place into the beading
lifting it up and away all around the tyre. Do this again on the other side and
slip the tyre off, removing the inner tube from the rim. Put your old inner
tube to one side and grab the tyre rim. You need to check to see what caused the
puncture by running your fingers carefully around the inside of the tyre.
Once you've found the culprit, remove it using some pliers. We now need to inflate
our new inner tube so it has shape and can easily sit in the tyre. So we need to
put the new tyre back onto the bike wheel. Make sure the arrow on the tyre is
pointing forward to its direction of travel. Push the valve on the inner tube
down into the valve hole on the wheel. Make sure that it sits straight through
the valve. Next, locate the rim and the beading together on both sides of the
wheel. The tyre lever can help you for this if it gets tight. Nearly done, just
need to inflate the tyre to the correct pressure that's recommended on the tyre
wall. In my case it's between 40 to 65 psi. Finally, fit the valve cap back on to
make sure nothing nasty gets inside the valve. Once you've done all of this
you're ready to reinstall your wheel back onto the bike. Tighten the skewer
back up and close the lever off, check the wheel is straight and connect it
back up on the brake. Now you've reinstalled both your tyre
and your wheel, you're good to go. If you don't fancy getting your hands dirty,
don't worry bring your bike into your
local Halfords and a member of the team will be happy to help you in performing
an inner-tube replacement.

Watch the Roots Freestyle About Snow Days, Slow Walkers on 'Fallon' - Duration: 1:34.
The Roots improvised songs about snow days, talking German Shepherds and the scourge of slow walkers on the latest installment of "Freestylin' with The Roots" on The Tonight Show Wednesday
As always, the bit found host Jimmy Fallon asking an audience member a few questions, then tasking the Roots with fitting those details into the style of a certain pop song
First, he spoke with a Venezuelan woman about spending snow days inside watching Netflix, and charged the Roots with recreating a Shawn Mendes-style song
Next, he spoke with a man who said that if he could have any animal in the world as a pet – literally any animal – it would be a German Shepherd
And if he could teach the dog to say anything it would be, "I love you." The Roots in turn offered up a play on Lady Gaga's "Shallow," with Black Thought belting, "You obviously think there's no threat having a German Shepherd for a pet/If you could train that unusual animal/To say one single thing/You would teach it to say I love you, I think that's amazing!" For their grand finale, the Roots recreated Andrew Gold's "Thank You for Being a Friend" – better known as the Golden Girls' theme song – for a woman who said her first act as president would be to ban slow walkers, while her campaign slogan would be "Make America Fast Again

Travel Systems Buyers Guide - Duration: 1:53.
A travel system is a type of pushchair which is compatible with an infant
carrier car seat, seat unit and a lie flat carry cot. Both the car seat and the
carry cot can click in and out of the push chair, which is super handy when you
have a sleeping baby you don't want to wake. Whilst the seat unit is great for
slightly older children who would prefer to sit upright.
Our infant carriers are ideal for newborns due to the added comfort in
stability but we also offer lie flat cots that allow your child to stay in
their push chair for longer, great for days out, shopping trips or long walks.
If the trip is short, then we offer car seats that can be fitted in and out of
the pushchair. Our car seats which have adjustable seat positions are ideal for
these curious kids who want to be able to face into you and out to the outside world.
All of our push chairs have many features which make them extremely easy
to use including the one-handed fold, swivel wheels, adjustable handlebar height,
quick-release wheels and a swivel bumper bar, all of which make your ride a
whole lot easier. Your child safety is really important to us so all of our
travel systems are fitted with sun shade hoods to keep your child protected from
the sun's rays, lockable front wheels and a five-point harness for added security.
Although you can purchase the separate items, it's often more cost effective to
invest in a complete travel systems bundle, ensuring you get all the
necessary equipment in one go. Most of our bundles will come in several
boxes, so we do offer a delivery option to store or home, whatever suits you best.
Check online for our delivery options. Feel free to come to your local Halfords store
have a proper look at our travel systems and ask any questions
that our team will be happy to answer.
