Today's video is going to be a tutorial on how to thread the overlock Brother 1034D
So the first thing to do is to put the 4 spools in their places and pull the thread up through the thread tree ( from back to front)
second thing we do is we pass the thread through the tension disc ( with holding this button to the right)
we keep repeating the same thing
Here guys I want you to be careful while threading. I do not recommend keeping the pedal near you, nor do I suggest connecting it to the machine. so that you can avoid the risks
we open the front cover by sliding it to the right. and we find a drawing or a guideline, which will help us thread the lowerlooper and the upper looper
(This is the order: Upperlooper, lowerlooper, right needle and left needle) xD )
so we start with this thread, we will follow the guideline by following the numbers 5-6-7-8. ( the green line )
so we pass the thread through the hook number 5 then the next hook will be number 6 and not 7 ( pay attention because this mistake may cause the thread breaking problems or the machine may make a very bad noise )
next thing will be the hook number 7 and last step is to pass the thread through this eye (step number 8 )
as you can see here we have a Stubborn thread xD
Second Step is threading the lowerlooper
we will follow the guideline (blue line) and the hooks 5-6-7-8.
and now we will go to the trickiest step ever xD
if you can't see the lowerlooper, all you have to do is simply turn the hand wheel.
we have two (unknown things) XD these are called ( the lowerlooper, and the lowerlooper threading lever.
we have to pass the thread through the eye of the lowerlooper
we slide the lowerlooper threading lever to the right. And, we place the thread under the hook.
Caution: the thread has to be placed under the upperlooper, otherwise the thread will break.
we need to put all the threads under the presser foot.
Next we want to thread the needles.

Also be sharing with you some items that I think these stores do exceptionally well, but are also quite affordable as always gentlemen

Let's get started number 5 on this list a bit of a weird because it is a store within a store and that is top
Men now top men's retail outlets here in Canada are usually within a Hudson's Bay or a Nordstrom
but their online store is its own separate store and what I personally like about Top man is that they were the go-to
Store for guys who needed a suit for the longest time ever now. They've added more clean
They sort of now became the precursor a fashion over men
But I still think these guys do a lot of excellent affordable clothing
The variety is not huge at top men and the price is definitely a little bit more of the expensive ones on this list
But then again, this is an excellent starting point
Especially if you want a suit now here on top men you can find suits for under $200
you can find a whole jacket and pants for less than $200 and I think isn't is
Amazing starting point because here the quality is a step above hmm and a little bit burdens are in my opinion
But then again, it is very difficult to find a good fitting suit under $200. Maybe even under $400
I think top man. Does this excellent?
I love the color palette they use on their suits and I personally think is an excellent starting point
When we talk about cheap clothing now if you're not into the suits, that's okay
They have casual wear options out there and they have a little bit more sri wear out there
I don't know so much about their a casual line and their street wear line
I like some of the things that you're doing
They are a little bit more trendy, but overall you're gonna get a solid affordable piece
No matter what, you might have them number four on this list
I talked about a lot on this channel recently and that is fashion over men
The fashion momentum has been taking instagram by storm this past year with a lot of affordable
Trendy street wear out there and I personally think fashion over men is a mixed bag
But in terms of quality in terms of well style when it comes to their clothing because it's very linear
Although the number one thing that they do their absolute best is their jeans fashion over jeans is what originally made their women's line
So popular and successful and this has carried over into their men's line now in my personal opinion. I love their jeans
They fit great. I'm still picky on the buttons for being plastic and they are plastic. They are a little hollow
So at that opinion, but then again
There's sheer variety and sheer affordability that is before the sales and discount codes that there are just so many out there
I personally think if you guys
Want a good pair of jeans a cheap pair of jeans that you don't have to get tailored and that fit
Great in our lightweight that you can wear in the colder months
Like I personally do and even in the summertime
Which I haven't given it a try here because some are in Canada's like two weeks in July
But I personally think they have a wide selection of jeans
So no matter how distressed how funky or how simple you want
They have it and again
You can find jeans for like twenty-five to fifty dollars
And that's not even counting how many discount codes and promotions are out there, which makes it overall
Super affordable for getting a good pair of jeans now the rest of the styling they're graphic tees and everything outside their jeans
It's really up to you because for me I have my opinion which is extremely mixed so I can't even get a clear

I have ever shopped from and it's not technically a clothing store. It's Aliexpress
No
Aliexpress is basically the
Amazon of China where you can find everything from makeup to auto parts and even men's clothing believe it or not and when it comes
to this now when it goes to
Aliexpress it is so enormous and there's so much out there that you're about to find something that you'll like and I can go at
Nauseam of what Aliexpress has but it's literally everything that is made in China either goes to probably either
Aliexpress or Alibaba that you could probably find in a lot of Walmart's
Amazon and even people who do like e-commerce drop drop shipping get a lot of their clothing and other
things that they're selling from Aliexpress and when it comes to Aliexpress their clothing
There's so much out there that you're bound to find something you like
There's a lot of knockoffs out there because you are buying directly from China
But the sheer affordability makes up for it a couple of drawbacks that there are is
Shipping time takes a while
You're looking at at least two and a half to three weeks every other clawing option on this list has a week or even sooner
Aliexpress has over two and a half weeks
Which is really a pain in the ass in
2019 other drawback here is their sizing because they follow an Asia and Asian size guide chart
Which is different from everywhere outside because I think here you have to go to
Sizes up and they do measure it a little thunking a little differently
So it's good to vary from listing to listing on the site
Which you can make it a bit of a hassle when you want to buy a lot of clothes and do it fairly quickly
Yeah, I spend a lot of time really going through the sizing chart
Which like when you have experienced buy from other with stores?
Especially one on this list is usually a go go go which here it can be a pain in the ass to spend extra time
Reading every individual sizing another drawback. Is there quality? Another quality is a mixed bag again because there's so much out there
that is gonna vary so
So much and I have this black data head that I had that I didn't want denim jacket.look book Rache if you're interested
I'll have it linked up here somewhere and I got this hat for four dollars and I like the Hat
It does its job, but it is just a lint magnet and it is just not the greatest quality the hat looks great
Don't get me wrong. It's a stylish simple hat, but the quality is not there. So there might be a turn-off for you
what I personally recommend gain from Aliexpress is
accessories like bracelets necklaces and even
Watches because they are dirt cheap
like we're talking five to six dollars for our necklace and I have a couple of necklaces and bracelets that I got from Aliexpress and
They are no different from the ones that you would get and let's say in H&M
Lazzara on top men because you're buying it directly from the manufacturer
So your ended up saving a lot more money because you could go buy the exact same bracelets at H&M or Zara and pay fifteen
twenty thirty dollars for them or you can be like me and wait the extra week that shipping would take and
Get it for around three to four dollars
I swear the shipping the Express
Shipping cost even more which I personally think if you like accessories and you don't want to blow a whole budget
On goeth Aliexpress because you'll find the exact same things
You can find in big retail chains for actually manufacture level costs
Which I think is just amazing and plus the sheer variety number two on this list
I hold near and dear to my heart cuz this is my go-to store. And that is ASOS

You've probably heard of ASOS the UK ecommerce giant when it comes to men's and women's clothing grooming and lifestyle in general now
I personally love ASOS because of one reason and one reason only
there's something there for everyone and what more can I say if you're really budget oriented like this video is meant for
You can go with there a CIL's branded line and still get a whole lot of different clothing from criminis trousers
Joggers a lot of the essentials they have in there a CIL's branded clothing, which is fairly affordable
It's not the cheapest one on this list
But then again their quality is a step above like the shirt
But then i'm jacki that I have I actually got that from ASOS
And is there a suspended line that I got for $80 having complained about the jacket ever? I love the jacket it fits great
It's two years old nut and it's still kicking. But the black sorry that I got is not a silver and E
But then again, it's just in that same price range and I gotta say it's great if the quality's great
I didn't overpay for it. It's not some fancy designer brand. It's some small UK company
I'm not sure. What's it called? But then again for $40, I got a nice turtleneck for $80
I got a Sherpa denim jacket and even if you're not so budget oriented they have
Options that go from super generic ASOS line all the way up to like a Hugo Boss Armani Dior
Now they had Gucci there once but I don't think they have Gucci there anymore
I know I saw like two and a half three years ago
And what I personally would recommend from ASOS is if you're looking to spice up
Some of your footwear is actually go in their loafers because I personally think ASOS their footwear is underrated a huge selection
Like what? I personally like there is that you can get a pair of loafers
for like forty dollars pesos or whatever small company branded or
If you're feeling bougie that day you can go up to like Ted Baker pair of loafers for $300
That's what I personally like you have that option whether you can spend a little less get something, you know
Not as rugged but still a stylish
Would you spend it more go up in quality and get something a little better a little more panache a little more?

Flexing and that's what I like because you have everything in one story and not just when it comes to clothing
your grooming essentials are there and it ultimately you can get lost just scrolling through the vast amounts of clothing Bezos has
Number one on this list shouldn't surprise you at all
And that is hmm, but online the reason I'm putting H&M number one when it comes to affordable clothing
It does seem a little cliche because this is everybody's go-to for cheap clothing. But the reason why their online
Store is number one is because of two reasons
Sizing and variety now every time I go into H&M when one of my friends go or we all go
Fighting your size can be nearly impossible since everybody Shops at H&M and H&M is usually at high-traffic areas either
downtown or a lot more
You know just big malls in general and the problem is you'll find something you like
But getting they won't have your size then you have to make an effort to go to another H&M store
Which you never know by the time you get there. It could be gone and I don't like that personally
I know it's not their fault
I'm gonna say it's the consumer salt because they're getting all the good stuff
But when it comes to H&M online, this is a place where you can go to and they have your sizing
I've never once found something that was sold out in my size hmm online and that's one reason why they're number one is finding your
Size is so difficult when it comes to super affordable
Trendy stylish clothing another reason why you should I'm online is number one is their sheer variety
You think when you walk into a store there's a lot of pulls and a lot of different clothes
Well, just give it steroids and let it work out
It ain't nothing but protein shakes for a few months and that's basically H&M online the sheer variety on that store
Coupled with the ability to you to find your sizing
It just it's hard to beat hmm prices where there's more stuff at the same price that you can find in your size
Like seriously, they're difficult to be although their quality is probably it's not the best
It is really a mixed bag and they try to come up with your HTM line
but in my opinion
They just made it ever so slightly
better because fabrics and textiles are not that expensive and just slapped a huge price tag on it to make it seem like
You know we can do quality to HTM can be a higher-end brand which I don't really buy into
But then again, this is for me the one-stop shop if you want
everything in the style
Spectrum as well as to find stuff in your size today

hey guys what's up what's going on my name is Brittany if this is your first
time stopping by today I'm bringing you guys an emerald green glitter eyeshadow
look now you guys might be thinking Brittany another more wearable look I
know right but I have to say that lately I have been playing around on days where
I'm not filming and just playing with some new brushes new techniques and
stuff and I have reef all in in love with regular smokey eyes I'm not going
to say that there's not gonna be color in there okay like come on there's color
in there today but I'm definitely starting to feel the more day-to-day
smoky eye doesn't necessarily have to be neutral it can still be colorful but I'm
starting to fall in love again with regular smokey eyes if that makes any
sense to you guys it doesn't you know it makes sense in my head I just think I'm
gonna start incorporating more looks like this on my channel you guys are
damned for that and if you like these kind of eye looks let me know in the

alright guys sorry to go in and prep my live with my P Lewis base and I'm gonna
be going into the hood of beauty emerald obsessions palette today I haven't
played with this in a while and I felt like sitting down and doing some greens
I got a lot of compliments on this look yesterday when I wore it so I thought
I'd film it again and just amp it up a little bit today with a little bit of
sparkle because we all know how much I love glitter okay so I'm gonna start off
this look and I'm going to go into this shade right here and I'm gonna go in
with my crown brush deluxe crease brush and I'm just going to pack it right in
the crease
I'm going to go into a morph um 506 brush and I'm going to go into this lime
green shade right here and I'm just going to blend that over top of the lash
out of that we place down
I went in with the wrong brush I'm going in with my m51 for I was wondering why
it wasn't looking as spread out as the other eye okay and then I'm going in
with the M 506 and I'm gonna go in to this darker green right here from the
palette and then I'm gonna use the 506 and I'm going to blend the shadow right
in between the last two shadows that we place down just to really help further
blend these two shades into one another
and then at this point I'm just going to go back and forth between these shadows
and really build up the intensity of them in the crease a little bit more and
make sure that they're really nice and blended in together
okay so now that the crease is done I'm gonna go in with my P Louie's base again
and I'm going to go in and cut the lid
I'm gonna go back into my crown brush and I'm just gonna buff the edges of the
shadow on the outer V of the eye I'm just gonna blend it into the base so
that there's no harsh lines when we go in on the lid today all right so moving
on to the lid I'm gonna go in with this really beautiful green foiled shadow
from the palette I'm going in with the morphe M 210 brush and I'm gonna give my
brush a spray with my skin to Navy a setting spray that's just what's gonna
help really pack that shadow on to make it look really nice and metallic such a
beautiful green shade I love it that's packed on I'm gonna add just a tiny bit
more of P Lewis base to the back of my hand and I'm going to go in with where's
my brush I'm gonna go in with an angled brush and I'm gonna create a liner on
the lid today with this base because I'm gonna pack another green shadow over top
of it over top of that I'm gonna go in with another angle brush and I'm gonna
go into my Julia's place try palette and I'm gonna go into this dark green shadow
right here and I'm going to pack this shadow right on top of the P Lewis base
that we just sat down to make the liner green and seriously turn any eyeshadow
into a liner with this base underneath it it is so good and then I'm gonna go
back in with my 506 into that same dark green shadow from the juvies place try
palette and I'm gonna buff that green shadow right on the outer V of the eye
just to make this look a little bit more smoky and to deepen up the green that is
on the outer part of the eye so we want a really nice smoky look today
okay now that that's all nice and blended out the main reason why I wanted
to do this I look today is because I got these new kind of glitter cream glitters
from creative soul tour called Sparkle potion glitter cream I did end up
picking up three of them and the one that I wanted to use today is called
spellbound this is what it looks like right here
it's so beautiful it's got like gold reflux in there it's got all kinds of
different reflux in there so I really wanted to use this today so before I do
anything I'm gonna go over the lid with my violet Voss glitter glue and I'm just
gonna place that all over the lid where we place that light green shadow and
then I'm gonna go into that glitter and I'm just going to place the glitter all
over the lid such a pretty glitter I loves it like this glitter is
thebomb.com loves it alright guys now that I
basically have the lid done I'm gonna hop off camera I'm gonna go do my lashes
I'm gonna apply some foundation and then I'll be right back alright guys I'm back
I put lashes on and I did do foundation and yes you might be wondering Britney
you look a little bit paler than usual well if you hadn't watched my last video
I have been tanning a little bit recently because we have a trip coming
up very soon and I have not had time to go pick up a new foundation to match me
110 percent nor do I really care because I'm really only tan for a couple months
out of the year so I'm not one who has a whole bunch of different foundations in
my collection for when I'm a little bit darker cuz let's face it
summer here is very short so we're just gonna roll with it today but I am very
well aware that I'm a little whiter than usual and with one of my new favorite
bronzers to really warm the face up and bring some life back to me one of my new
favorite bronzers which is the essence of club matte bronzing powder again guys
if you've been watching my last couple videos this is only $5 and it is fucking
awesome I go in and I'm going to really bronze the skin up today because yes
like I said I'm well aware that I look pasty right now this is a really good
tone bronze ortho guys if you are in the market or if you're somebody who does
like more warm tone bronzers you will love this the pan size is phenomenal and
I just love it it blends out really well a little bit of color smells a little
bit like coconut not overpowering though or nothing like the Physicians Formula
bronzer that one smells delicious but it does have a little bit of a coconut
scent to it and I love that because it reminds me of the beach and like I said
I'm going to be on the beach in about four weeks and it could all wait but I
will have to go out and pick a foundation up I'll probably get the
Milani because that's the one I always get in darker because it's cheap and
I'll use that until my tan fades off a little bit but as you can see this
bronzer is bringing me bulk to life a little bit with my blush and I'm gonna
go into my Milani color harmony blush palette you guys are probably getting
sick of me seeing me use these but they're so good this one is in Coral
beans today I absolutely love these blushes are so good I just swear on my
brush around in them so that I get a little bit of every color that's in the
palette
okay guys so for underneath the eyes I'm gonna go back into my juvies place try
palette I'm gonna go back into that dark green shadow with my Sigma I think it's
an e30 brush and it's just a pencil brush and I'm just gonna buff that
underneath the lower lash line
okay and then I'm gonna go back into the hoodie Beauty emerald obsession pilot
and I am going to I'm actually gonna go in and mix the two green shadows they
used in here together and buff that underneath the lower lash line as well
now that that's done I'm gonna go in and soak the face then you guys guessed it
I'm gonna go in with my pixie hydrating milky mist as well okay now that the
face is drawing down I'm gonna go into my MBA cosmetics highlighter palette
don't find these crushed eyes shadows in this palette if you watched I don't know
one of my last videos where these eyeshadows performed so fucking horribly
so just excuse those because it's a fucking mess in here right now but I'm
gonna go into my MBA cosmetics highlighting palette and I've been
really intrigued to try this green highlighter ever since I got these so
because I'm using green on the lids today I am going to mix a little bit of
this green one here and this yellow one together and make a little bit of a
cocktail I just want to see how it's going to look I mean if it looks really
crazy I have nowheres to be so what better
time to try it so I'm literally just going to blend these together I will
have these listed in the description box below as well guys but I didn't dip in
too much of the greens though obviously I'm not gonna want a massive green
highlight on my face but I did dip into it a little bit and this is the color
payoff I'm getting like is you have to try MBA highlighters if
you like a blinding highlight you are going to love these highlighters y'all
know I'm all about the highlight on my channel I love a good beaming highlight
I always have I know it's not for everybody but it's for me and it's my
face alright so now that highlighters on I am going to go in with my Maybelline
snap visit Maybelline yeah I'm gonna go with my Maybelline snaps Kara and I'm
just gonna use this on the lower lash line I don't really care see that's why
that is why I don't really care for this mascara on my lower lash line because I
always get it all over the place it's not the best mascara for the lower lash
line I will say that but I don't have another mascara so I make do with what I
have I'm going to go a little bit more mathy on the lips today but I am going
to use a really dark lip liner so I'm gonna go into my NYX lip liner in the
shade hot cocoa
I will say it's amazing of the makeup that you can find lying around your
house when you deep clean your house I found so many lip liners and random
cracks and crevices of the house that I didn't even realize I still had this is
one of them okay so this is coming out a lot more cool toned than what I was
wanting um or what it looks like on the pencil we'll roll with it sure
well at least I know I have a really nice dark cool toned lip liner in my
collection now because I didn't think that I did and I haven't been a fine
wine but now I do thanks to cleaning I'm going to go in
with my Rimmel the only one lipstick in the shade and naughty nude
alright guys so that is it for my emerald green glitter eyeshadow look

Captain Marvel is set to go higher, further, faster when her solo flick soars into cinemas
on March 8 — but a swarm of internet trolls are bent on bringing her down before her silver-screen
debut.
"I hate trolls."
Dozens of registered users on Rotten Tomatoes have begun flooding Captain Marvel with negative
reviews, lodging hateful comments in the audience reactions tab.
The majority of the unpleasant reviews focus on lead actress Brie Larson, with many making
misogynistic remarks about Larson's outspokenness as a feminist and an advocate for inclusiveness
in Hollywood.
In the same vein, other nasty reviews that don't vilify Larson still personally disparage
Captain Marvel as a whole.
A vocal minority of so-called movie fans believe that the film highlighting feminism and a
girl power message somehow undermines the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

A complete turnoff."
Anyway, you get the idea.
As you can see, the word "yikes" doesn't even begin to describe what's happening here.
But why exactly are so many internet lunatics sending so much hate toward Larson and Captain
Marvel?
It seems that Larson's past comments about including more people of color in the press
junkets for Captain Marvel are the reason for all these ruffled feathers and unsavory
reviews.
On February 7, Marie Claire published a piece in which Larson spoke with journalist Keah
Brown about Captain Marvel, feminism, the current state of film, what the world can
to do make the film industry more inclusive, and what being a part of the MCU means to
Larson.
During their chat, Larson also revealed why she hand-selected Brown — a disabled reporter
— to be her Marie Claire interviewer during the Captain Marvel press tour.
Her reason?
She noticed that the overwhelming majority of media members covering her press days and
reviewing her movies seemed to be white males.
Larson elaborated:
"Moving forward, I decided to make sure my press days were more inclusive [...] I want
to go out of my way to connect the dots.
It just took me using the power that I've been given now as Captain Marvel.
[The role] comes with all these privileges and powers that make me feel uncomfortable
because I don't really need them.
It's a by-product of the profession and a sign of the times.
But any uncomfortableness I feel is balanced by the knowledge that it gives me the ability
to advocate for myself and others."
Larson has consistently been vocal about the importance of equal representation, and noted
during last year's Crystal + Lucy Awards that the lack of diversity in film criticism is
an ongoing issue.
The actress has also stated that she doesn't, quote, "hate white dudes," but was merely
trying to drive home the point that if a movie is, for example, concerned with women of color,
there's still, quote, "[...] an insanely low chance a woman of color will have a chance
to see your movie and review your movie."
Larson also said:
"I do not need a 40-year-old white dude to tell me what didn't work for him about [A]
Wrinkle in Time.
It wasn't made for him.
I want to know what it meant to women of color, to biracial women, to teen women of color,
to teens that are biracial."
That's all pretty reasonable, but as with all reasonable statements that spread across
the internet, it didn't take long for a vocal and hateful minority to take offense and start
review-bombing Captain Marvel's Rotten Tomatoes page.
And this isn't the first time we've seen any slightly progressive stance receive volumes
of backlash from the darkest corners of the Internet.
The stars of Star Wars: The Last Jedi received more than their fair share of online ugliness
from so-called fans who took their dislike of the film into the realm of personal attacks.
Meanwhile, none other than the blockbuster and Best Picture nominee Black Panther received
an onslaught of backlash from fans of movies based on DC Comics franchises.
Why?
Because they suspected that — somehow — Disney actually paid movie critics to give DC films
like Suicide Squad and Justice League low review scores.
You just can't make this stuff up.
Fortunately, these review bombers are likely to be nothing more than a minor blip in the
long run.
Already, the movie is receiving rave reviews from actual movie critics who've seen early
screenings.
Entertainment Weekly critic Devan Coggan tweeted:
"Captain Marvel is pure joy.
I cannot wait for the generation of little girls who will grow up with Carol Danvers
as a hero."
Meanwhile, SlashFilm's editor Peter Sciretta had nothing but good things to say, tweeting:
"Captain Marvel is a great origin story.
Brie's buddy cop chemistry with Samuel L Jackson is so much fun and her relationship with Lashana
Lynch is the real heart of it.
Ben Mendelsohn and the cat both steal the show."
And Erik Davis, the managing editor at Fandango, should get all fans of adventure, sci-fi,
and all things MCU totally excited.
He tweeted:
"Captain Marvel has a great '90s sci-fi vibe with a tone unlike any other Marvel movie,
really.
It's retro and trippy, mysterious and dorky.
It's funny in surprising places and badass in all the right places.
It remains entertaining because it's always changing.
It's got the right stuff."

Best Concealer Tips & Tricks | The Sloane Series - Duration: 16:07.
I am overqualified for today's video. I am a concealer expert, a concealer
aficionado. I could write Concealer Mag. It comes out twice a year. We are
understaffed, okay? Times are changing. It's a digital era.
I don't know. I'm sorry that I created my own magazine and that's already failing.
Anyway, hey guys! I'm Sloane Glass and today we're doing concealer 101. What is
concealer? How do I use it? Does it go everywhere? Does it go nowhere?
What do I need to conceal? We're going to answer it all for ya! Okay, so right now I have
no makeup on my face, just some mascara and a little purple eyeshadow on. So
I'm going to put a little primer on because I'm gonna be doing face makeup to show
you guys about the concealer. My desert island beauty products would be
concealer and blush because concealer brings life back to your face and
there are different methods. Yes you can use concealer to highlight. You know what
I'm jumping ahead of myself. Okay, I'm also gonna show you guys my favorite
concealers, different formulas of concealers. It's gonna be lit! Lit from within.
Sorry I'm feeling so wacky today. I use a very
very light layer of foundation and then I spot conceal. For me, I think that is
the best method even if you have cystic acne covering your face, horrible scars, I
promise you you need so much less foundation than you think. So that's
always been my philosophy is to use a little bit of foundation and then go in
and spot conceal. I think if you start with concealer you're going to overwhelm
yourself and you're gonna overuse concealer, overuse product and end up
looking like you're wearing too much makeup, so that's why I like to start
with foundation. Today I'll start with concealer since that's the premise of
this video. What shade should your concealer be? What a phenomenal question
Sloan! Okay, I am a huge proponent that the under eye concealer should be
slightly brighter than the rest of your face. It will make you look awake. So, I
like to make it either fair or light and have pinkish undertones. Why pink or
peach? When I say pink I mean peach. Because that cancels out any blueness or
any bags under your eyes. Anything darker or anything that has
honey or warm undertones are going to accentuate the dark circles. So if you're
using your concealer that you use for your acne and you're wondering why your
under eyes look dark, that's probably why honey! This one from Josie Maran -
The Vibrancy Concealer - is really cool because it sets itself. So this is her
shade "fair" and even though this is the fair shade it's still pretty dark I
would say.I normally pick the "light" shade, but I am going fair for this one.
Then Tarte Shape Tape is my, if I could open it. It is heavy duty. Like, you
need the littlest amount. I'm not kidding you I think one lasts me forever.
It has this doe foot applicator. I will say the doe foot
applicator gets a bit messy so in the beginning I like to just take from it
and be very conscious of that. I don't know why i'm swatching concealers, but I
want to show you guys that the Tarte one is very cool toned in the shade "light"
that's why i love it. I like to use it for any spots that I have since it's
so high coverage. So I'm just gonna put a little bit around my redness. Right? Look
at that guy! I'm excited because then I gotta show you
guys how I cover my spots. Oh and then we're gonna do concealer brushes,
which are so fun. You can't talk about concealer without talking about Bye-Bye
Under-Eye from IT Cosmetics. I'm using the shade "light C". Again, cool tone. I'm
cool tone and for any sort of under-eye I like to veer cool tone rather than
warm because warming up the under eyes can make them look a little harsher.
Bye Bye Under Eye comes out looking a little different from these guys because
it's much more of a tacky formula. It's waterproof. It's not going anywhere. It's
definitely full coverage. I love this brush. It's their Heavenly Luxe Number Two
because I have one side that I can really buff out cuz it's really fluffy,
and then the other one is a little flatter, so I can have a bit more
precision. I'm just going to grab a smaller mirror, step in a bit closer and show
you how I like to buff out the edges of my concealer. So keep in mind that for
these spots I wanted it to look like my skin.
So that's the shade I pick. I'm really just tapping out the product and because
I'm really well moisturized it's blending in really nicely,and I I'm not
picking any products that are drying. See how nice that blended? Now, if we had done
foundation first you definitely have to pick concealer colors that were a little
darker to match my foundation shade. I'm gonna add a little concealer right there under my
brow bone. See concealer can be used for everything! Oh it's so good! It's also
like an eraser like oh let's just erase that mistake. Let's just erase that
eyeliner mistake. Ooh look at those red guys. All right, can't wait to get rid of
those. Okay let's do our under-eye concealing, and I think the best way to
show you guys would be to do it how I do in my everyday life. I'm going to take
a foundation. This is Tarte's Clay Stick in the shade "light beige" and just do a
little. I don't really want a lot of foundation today. I'm actually going to
avoid the spots the need concealing because I want to conceal them. Down my neck and buff it out.
Great! So, that foundation definitely warmed up
my complexion, which I was really looking for with it since I am so pale right now,
and I love this foundation because it still looks so much like skin.
Which concealer to pick? So I've shown you guys our Shape Tape,
Bye Bye Under Eye, our Vibrancy. Then I also have a powder
concealer that is phenomenal! I love a good powder concealer. This one's from
Westmore Beauty. This is almost the opposite of the Josie one because this
goes from powder to cream. A very unusual formula. What's so great about it is I
can layer it over my powder, so if you're a powder girl totally hit up this guy.
It's beautiful. It blends so nicely. I was using it all day yesterday. I was
like mwah! Love you! You know what? I'll do Bye Bye Under Eye because they really get
you with that name. The smallest amount. Can you guys even see how small that amount is?
That's gonna be too much. Okay, you need the tiniest bit of concealer. Why am I
bossing you around? I'm gonna take this brush just to dab it out. See with
the doe foot I could have just put it where I want it, but since it comes in
this applicator I'm going to take the brush. I like to create an upside
down triangle. Okay. This is where I'm adding brightness. I'm using this
concealer to highlight my face because your face is not all one shade naturally.
When you just put on foundation, you use foundation like a mask, it's gonna
look not natural. To blend it out I'm taking the medium size Beauty Blender
this one is sold to be used for blush. Whew! They make a smaller one for
concealer, but I think this one is so cute so I'm gonna use this.
Now I don't ever put my concealer directly under my eyes. That's how I
avoid creasing. I use the illusion of the light and conceal below to help cast
the shadows upwards. I find that that's the best way to not get creasing, use
less makeup and have really bright under eyes. If I go too close to my actual eyes
that's when it starts to look really cakey. So now that my under eyes are
bright, I'm going to go in and spot conceal. For that I'm gonna use my Shape
Tape because I love it so so much, and I'm gonna just go over that spot again
and then right by the corner of my nose I had a breakout so I put some there.
I'll put a bit down the bridge of my nose since I am again using this to
highlight, and even on my chin because I always like to highlight my chin a bit,
and for the sake of this video my forehead. You know what? Honestly, why not
right? We're doing it. It's a concealer video. Okay! Since we're doing it... right?
Who are we hurting? And now ladies and gentlemen we blend it out.
Now for no good reason I blend the areas I care about the least first. I
get nervous about the ones that matter. So it's like my forehead is not worrying
me right now so it's like I could blend this out closing my eyes. I gotta pay
attention when it comes down to here.
Oh, look how good! See how the concealer is blending in with my foundation, but just
like creating a cheekbone? We haven't contoured. We've used no bronzer. We're
really just using concealer. Now I'm taking what's left over on the Beauty
Blender under my eye. Okay, and now I blend out my chin. See it just like gives
my chin a little like.. ooh who's that chin? Who is she? She walks into the bar
and it's like chinny chin chin. A lot of times you see on Instagram and YouTube
people use a dark shade of concealer to contour. Concealer is thick. It is a thick
version of foundation. Your foundation is a thinner version of a concealer.
Foundation goes over everything. Concealer is meant for spots, tinier bits
of your face. That's why it normally comes in a tinier container. Right? Okay.
Using a dark concealer will make your face look super super muddy. There's no
reason to ever buy a dark shade of concealer to contour. The only reason why
you're seeing people do that on the Internet is because they're getting huge
PR packages with a million different shades of foundation and concealer in it.
They don't know what to do with it, so it's like a it's gimmicky is what
they're doing. Don't think you're using your concealer wrong if you're not
using it to contour. That's not what it's made for. That's not what it's meant for
and in the natural daylight that's not gonna look very good. Wow, did I just
spill some tea? Okay now that I am fully blended I have a ton of concealer on
even though I was all like, I just like to spot conceal and use a
little bit. But you guys know what I mean. I am going to set. I love this powder
from Kristofer Buckle. It's translucent and just so finely milled that I find it
makes my skin look like silk. I love it. I screamed the first time I used it. I'm
not kidding you. I think it's so good. Okay, and I actually really love to use
my wet Beauty Blender. I just take a little bit of it, and I'm gonna go over
my chin. We're not to do anything baking or crazy. Just over those spots
that were really stubborn. We're gonna push a little bit of the product in. A
little bit of the powder right? Some people say that their concealer creases
if they don't set up with powder. If that's your case then set it with powder. For me
I don't tend to set my concealer with powder under my under eyes. I think it
makes me look older. This is why I like having two different formulas of a
concealer. Now that everything is set, everything is good
there's still one little spot that maybe you guys can't see, but since I'm a
perfectionist. I do not like but I've done all my powders and I don't really
want to go back in with any sort of cream. It might move things. I don't like
the way that the formulas work together past this point, so I'm gonna go with my
Westmore concealer - the powder guy. This is the shade "light". It's really great
brush that also has two different ends. One for more precision, one for buffing which I
appreciate. I'm gonna take the precision end to get tiny bit of the product.
Always start out small, and just tap it over that spot. Great. See now I'm
satisfied with the level of concealing, but I think if I'd gone back in with a
cream product the whole thing would have been messed up. I like to have this one
in my purse too because throughout the day if your concealer moves
this is a great way to touch up. I know creams get weird when you start putting
them over powders. I think it's fine for the highlight area because you're kind
of wanting it to get weird and natural and gooey, but for the areas that have
blemishes or any sort of hyper-pigmentation underneath it's like,
no. Stay in your lane! Then just a little bit under my brow. Clean them up
ever so slightly. I threw on a little blush and lip gloss. Yeah, so what about it?

highlight shade of concealer that you were using. You want it to match your
foundation. I don't know if I mentioned that earlier, so I'm gonna say it now. If you have any

My luggage got lost on one of my trips
and so someone was there to collect my luggage when it got delivered at like 4:00 in the morning.
They've been really helpful with all of my packages, plus everybody at the front desk has been
extremely friendly and welcoming.
The primary reason I chose this place was it was pretty much the ease of getting the lease, the
responsiveness of the staff. I talked to friends about
moving in and telling them like you have something that you need a concern and call,
I mean, right there you got people coming in right on point and everything. So convenient
We've got the laundry room right down the hall, the elevator to get down,
Here we feel like it's more like a community rather than just a building with fewer apartments.

My name is Wilson, and today we're gonna be sharing you with the three marketing secrets
that is gonna help you explode and grow your brick and mortar business, so you can have
the ease of mind, and to have the security to provide for your family.
As more and more big-box retailers are filing for bankruptcy, the small brick and mortar
shops can't help but think that they're gonna be next.
They worry that E-commerce is gonna come by and steal their business.
They worry that with their limited amount of skillset, they're not gonna be able to
find a job.
And they worry that they cannot provide for their family.

The first marketing strategy is experiential marketing.
So many big brands still utilize this marketing strategy.
By definition, experiential marketing means when people market a product or a service
through an experience that engages with a customer to create an emotional response tied
to the product or the service.

Now I know you don't have the millions of dollars of budgets that this big brands do
have.
My whole reason for showing you this is just so you know how even big brands are investing
heavily into this.
Now that's your advantage as a brick and mortar business over the E-comm's business, because
you can create an authentic relationship, authentic experience that engages with a customer,
that draws on an emotion.
This is something that E-commerce can never replace, and that's your advantage.
For example, if you want to create an experiential marketing for your brick and mortar store,
you can create an event where you gather your community around.
Do something that is creative, do something that is novel.
At the end of the day, make them feel that you're authentic.
Make them feel connected to you.
And that's your way of doing experiential marketing that will put you aside.
And that would create an edge for you over any E-commerce business, and that's gonna
make you thrive, as you consistently create these memories and these experiences for your
customers.
The second marketing secret is often overlooked, and it is to create a brand.
So many business owners are struggling and desperate for the sale, therefore they're
competing on price, they're competing on lowering prices for about 10%, by 20%, whatever the
case may be.
But, if your product is not the cheapest on the market and if you cannot compete on that
level, being the second cheapest will only run your company into bankruptcy.
The reason for that is because nowadays, people can easily go on Amazon and check for the
prices, and the majority of the time, because people that are selling on Amazon do not have
to pay for the overhead, they do not have to pay for the rent, their prices are always
cheaper.
And in that case, your business will go out of business and go into bankruptcy.
If you're competing on price and if you do not create a brand right now.
So the way to compete in today's age is to create a brand, a brand that people can connect
to, a brand that is aligned to your values, and aligned to why you're doing what you're
doing.
And afterwards, you need to connect with them.
You need to connect with them on a personal level, provide value for them, and that's
how you build a loyal base of customers that will forever buy from you because they're
buying from you because they're rooting for you and your brand.
Way too many businesses, they've run promotions and advertisements without connecting with
their customers, without aligning the values with them.
They're just running promotions with like buy one, get one free and stuff like that,
just to draw in the customer.
But, a lot of times, it is a one-time customer.
You're not creating that stickiness.
You're not creating that relationship with your customers.
So for you to be able to have a loyal base of customers that you're always growing, you
need to make sure that you align with their values first.
This creates a reason for them to buy into what you're saying.
That creates a moat around your brand that people can't just come and take over why you're
doing what you're doing.
You can be selling the same product, but if you have a bigger mission behind that, then
you are gonna be able to win your customers.
You need to connect with your customers, and that's when you're gonna be running promotions
and advertisements to be able to reward your loyal fans for their support.
And in return, it becomes a win-win situation.
Your loyal fans feel that they're receiving something in return because you're supporting
your cause.
And in return, you're profiting.
You don't need to slash on prices because you already created this loyal base of customer
because you've created a brand.

The third marketing secret in growing your brick and mortar store is to collaborate.
So many business owners fall in a trap of thinking that they're all alone in business.
They feel like no one understands them.
They feel like that they're fighting this battle alone.
And they feel like that they're the only ones in this journey.
But that doesn't have to be the way.
For instance, Dragon Ball collaborating with Adidas, McDonald's collaborating with G-Shock,
these crazy collaborations are happening because it's working.
It's a super effective way and strategy to grow your business.
The power of collaborating is so strong because you're basically exposing your brand to the
loyal fan base of another brand, and vice versa.
And in that note, you're creating a really big, powerful tool and bringing a lot of eyes
into your brand and your partner's brand.
So this is a very strong win-win strategy that a lot of businesses are using.
Now collaborating with businesses that supplement your business is super ideal.
And what I mean by that is if you're running a pet grooming salon, for example, then you
would be much more incentivized to partner with a pet store that is selling pet supplies.
You can host an event where you'd be teaching pet care 101 at the pet store, and you'd be
teaching the pet store's customer how do they care for their dogs, how do they groom them,
how do they brush them.
And in turn, they're gonna be exposed, their customers are exposed to you and your shop.
You can start promoting your shop that is around the block, and majority of the time,
that conversion is very, very kind.
And in return, you would be promoting the pet store's supplies within your grooming
store that you're telling, you're funneling people to that, "Hey, you know what?
There's that pet store around the block.
Use them, I'm actually doing a promotion there."
It becomes a win-win situation, and it is super, super, super effective.
Now I know it might be confusing at first to be able to draw and understand, hey, well
what are some of the angles and who are some of the partners that I need to partner with?
An exercise that I personally use is on one side of a piece of paper, I write down all
the businesses around the block within the five kilometer radius of my shop.
And, on the right hand side, I have another column, and I start writing down the common
threads that these businesses have with my business.
And after doing that, then it becomes a very clear page of who are the businesses that
you should be collaborating with.
You can explore so many different angles of how you can collaborate and pitch these different
business owners.
And a lot of times, if the idea is creative enough and it makes sense, a lot of times
they will work with you.
