So here's the thing. You've seen that picture of your friend in this bright
yellow rain jacket on a stark black sand beach or maybe in front of this
otherworldly plane wreckage from some plane from the 1970s and you decided now
it's definitive, you have to go to Iceland.
and to be honest you're not wrong
- You do. You need to go.
But we went recently with some friends and
There's lot of hard lessons that we've learned and so this is a video about
making the most out of your trip to Iceland.
These are the five must-haves that you needbefore you go
so the first thing you're probably gonna do is start researching and googling all
the different things you can do in Iceland and the thing is you don't need
to book a tour bus in order to get that experience. If you do you're gonna end up
with 40 other people and be waiting in line to get the same picture they're
doing. You can just plan it yourself ahead of time and really make the most
out of it. The biggest tool we used is this map.
So this is the International Photographer Iceland map and it is a goldmine
so this is a map literally these guys drove across the entire island of Iceland and they can tell you
on here hey what roads are open and accessible but more importantly
everything that's photographable is considered photographable is in bright
yellow. So when you're googling you're gonna see all the stuff that everyone
else sees all you have to go to the Golden Circle order this waterfall or to
that water for whatever it is and you might but at the same time a lot of our
best shots and our most fun days we're just by looking at man look at this huge
patch of yellow over here let's drive towards it and see what we see
come on, I mean like who doesn't want to just put that on their wall this makes you feel
like you're planning a legit trip
and the other thing is it's hard to know geographically where they're located
So if you have the map you can start making
notes and little sticky notes whatever it is so kind of map out your days this
just makes it really easy to know your routes
I can't stress enough how DIY
this trip can mean for you guys it's a really safe place to travel around on
your own yeah the elements can be harsh that's
really the only danger so if you plan well you're gonna be fine
so the second
must-have in our opinion is a way to make your photo stand apart and capture
really great images even if you're completely novice or amateur
photographer. one of the first tools that we picked up that really helped us ta ke
some really cool shots was a Polaroid camera
these aren't expensive I can't remember how much the camera itself was it's a
really cool way to walk away with a memento that you can hold that you can
put up on a fridge or in a scrapbook and we came up with a lot of really fun ways
to kind of work them into digital pictures that just made the picture
stand apart a little bit more when you're at a location that a hundred
other people have taken a similar picture at
I would say the other one
that's really awesome is this lens ball and there's a couple different brands
out there but make sure to get lens ball brand it's gonna be the most clear and
when you put them up against an image I mean it really makes for just a cool
shot but make sure your nails look decent because they will be up close and
personal with the image
But I want to stress to you when you when you look
this up on the lens ball sign it says this is for iPhone or smartphone
photography and if you're an amateur and you want to spend like twenty-five to
thirty five dollars on a really cool tool
those two are must-haves and they really make your pictures pop
so the third must
have to make the most out of your Iceland trip is the right gear so within a
single hour you might go from every type of weather sunny too rainy to snowing
too windy everything so you just need to be prepared there is a difference
between waterproof and water-resistant our friend Sergio learned that the hard
way we let him borrow a jacket and I thought if they were the same thing so
while we were all nice and warm and dry on a five hour drive back to the cabin
he was soaked to the bone and again it can when we were there it was in the 30s
and in the 40s the other big thing his Footwear this is not a walk around the
mall I had friends that were going saying like nah man I've got my chucks
and I'll be fine I'm gonna take rain boots none of those work this video is
not sponsored whatsoever however the North Face did hook us up with a pair of
boots for our trip and I genuinely don't know what we would have done without
this I'm a suede leather boot type of guy I am NOT a hiking boot type of guy
even if you have hiking boots you need to make sure that they are waterproof
that they're still breathable and that's really hard to find you don't want to
just be wearing rubber shoes and that they're gonna be comfortable because
again you're gonna do so much walking hopefully if you're doing the trip right
you're getting a seal honest and when you get caught out in the rain
it's super important that your feet stay comfortable and that they stay dry
the fourth must-have that you need is not a sexy must-have but I do I
genuinely think it's maybe the second most important on this list second only
to gear and that is if you're gonna rent a car which we strongly recommend you
have to get the insurance I saw so many people fighting these poor guys about
saying we don't want the insurance we don't want it this is a racket it's not
we've seen the wind picked up from zero miles an hour to literally sandblasting
the paint off the side of cars people opening car doors and them getting
windblown and pushed back and things like that so that's a very real reality
and it'll save you so much money when we brought our Jeep back they literally
looked at and said what did y'all do to this Jeep and and it didn't matter what
we did do it because we didn't have to pay for it and the last must-have is
really just a plan I know there's a lot of research that goes into pulling you
know the locations to see the budget the all the details how much does it cost to
go to the blue look good so all of the heavy lifting we've kind of already done
for you so you can just download this kind of printable below and it'll give
you a template to fill out for yourself and a budget and just other kind of tips
to help along the way yeah a lot of the things that we take for granted
traveling to any other place in the states or just where there are a lot of
tourists are a big deal their food is a huge deal it's so expensive you might
spend $30 on a burger with no fries or drink and you're not gonna really gonna
save any money by going grocery shopping everything is imported and everything is
expensive so having a realistic food budget ahead of time knowing what places
need reservations even like going to the Blue Lagoon which is a very popular spot
you need to have reservations there are certain tickets that don't include or do
include food towels things like that so Kate in our friend Victoria actually put
together a really great little spreadsheet that really helped us see
how much we were going to spend and where we could move money around so that
we were prepared and we weren't surprised by anything but if I've done
by myself I'd be very hungry for the entirety of that trip because it is not
cheap so a plane is super important because we love y'all so much
we have a bonus tip it is a playlist because you're going to be in the car a
lot I mean it's beautiful and the scenery around you is so worth it for
every single Drive it's an adventure but you're still going to be in the car for
a long time so we've made a playlist to just set the backdrop for your drive
time to be totally honest we also listened to like murder mysteries and
things in the car with friends because we wanted some entertainment
but there's something about just putting on the right song or you're driving
through these genuinely otherworldly landscape if you like us at all and you
enjoy a good moody creative playlist we have one for you it's linked in the
description below you can pull that up on Spotify and even download it so it's
available for offline play because you might not have service when you're out
in the middle of nowhere and you want to have some good tunes for the drive so
again guys Iceland is genuinely unlike any other place in the world and if it's
not on your bucket list put it on your bucket list one word for it if that make
everything you see it'll be amazing with that you do need to be prepared don't
just feel like you can throw some t-shirts and sweaters in a bag and head
on out so hopefully this is helpful for you guys we actually made a couple of
videos while we were there one of them is just one day in Reykjavik the capital
so you can kind of see what there is to do there the other one is a 60-second
cinematic travel diary so you can kind of see a little glimpse into our
favorite shots from the entire island hopefully those are fun you can watch
them here or here I don't know if my fingers are pointing to the right thing
or not if they're not they're linked in the description below and I'm
embarrassed

WHAT TO SAY WHEN YOU MEET SOMEONE NEW - Duration: 2:37.
- Hey friends, David Burkus here,
welcome back to the Daily Burk,
and today we are talking about
what to say when you meet someone new.
Most of us, we've talked about this a few times before,
most of us ask the straight up wrong question
when we meet someone for the first time.
Especially in North America, the number one question we ask
when we meet someone new is, so what do you do?
Which if the Gallup research is correct,
seven out of ten people are either disengaged,
or actively disengaged in their job.
Which means that seven out of ten people
don't want to answer the question, what do you do?
But it pays to begin with a question.
Questions convey interest in the other person,
so what should we do when we meet someone new?
Well we shouldn't tell them about ourselves,
we should be asking questions,
but I like questions about the totality of that person.
I ask questions like, what excites you right now?
What are you looking forward to?
Tell me where you grew up, anything like that.
My secret favorite question,
I get a lot of traction with this one, I'm a bit nerdy,
is what's your favorite superhero?
You know why, because everyone has a favorite superhero,
and if you follow up with the question, why?
You learn the story behind why that particular character
resonates with that person.
And you might even find like a connection
that's not there at first, for example,
if their favorite superhero was Batman,
and your favorite one is Ironman,
well really they're the same character.
And as you start to explore the why,
you find things in common about
what you value, what you admire,
in the stories that really resonate with you.
But it doesn't have to be the superhero question,
any question that is authentic to you,
but is looking at the totality of that person,
not just where they work,
because most people don't wanna tell you where they work,
they're not proud of it,
or they're looking to do something else.
But if you ask them a broad question like
what excites you right now?
Then they can tell you anything they wanna talk about,
and you end up learning way more about them,
than what their title is at some company that
they're probably gonna quit in six months from now.
So yes, ask questions when you meet someone
for the first time, but ask broader questions,
humans are multi-faceted.
Be multi-fascinated in them,
when you meet them for the first time.
Thanks very much for watching
this episode of the Daily Burk,

The Worts Parts Of Crushing On Someone Who Doesn't Like You Back: TBH with Matt Bellassai - Duration: 6:20.
He loves me.
He loves me not.
He loves me.
He loves me not.
At least I can shove the banana up my asshole.
Hey everyone! My name is Matt Bellassai
and this is To Be Honest
a weekly video series where I get drunk in the middle of the day
and tell the truth about shit.
On this week's episode...
Because I have the brain of a hormonal teenager
And I just have a lot of feelings right now
So let's drink!
Alright, first of all...
The beginning of a crush is terrible
because you can feel yourself getting sucked in
like lint in a chubby belly button
It's like, great, I guess I just live in this belly button now
with all of the hair and the food crumbs
and the tingly feelings when you stick your finger too far in
Starting to have a crush is like the beginning of a toilet flush
At first, it's all nice and gentle
Until WHOOSH
You get sucked in, with the rest of the shit
Then it's like, do you actually like them because you actually like them?
Or because you want them to stick their pickle in your Christmas tree?
Then all your friends are like, "You need to get over it."
And, "Your obsession is getting out of control."
And, "This is unhealthy, like that time you ate that kid's entire pillowcase of Halloween candy."
And it's like, "Fuck off, Brittney!"
I kept my goddamn mouth shut when you got addicted to Dairy Queen that summer.
Sorry what I have is stronger than what you had with your fuckin Oreo Blizzards, you chubby bitch.
We're both just trying to get our holes filled
Then it's like you're always just trying to give your crush subtle hints
that you're ready for them to fuckin take you whenever they want.
Like when you accidentally drop your Starbucks drink on the ground in front of them
and then you sexily bend down to slurp it up from the dirty pavement with a straw
It's called "The Bend and Frappe."
And it works every time.
Also I hate when they're like, "This will never work
because you're just a guy who gets drunk on the Internet
and I'm just a boy band member turned international British pop rock sensation
And it's like, Buzz Aldrin was just a depressed alcoholic
but he landed on the fuckin moon
So are we gonna take off our pants and let Apollo 69 land?
Or did I bleach my butthole for NOTHING?!
I cleaned out all the moon rocks from this crater.
Then it's like you start thinking that everything they do is a sign that they like you back.
Like, I bet that they're ignoring me completely because secretly they love me.
I bet they posted that picture of them marrying someone else because they wanna make me jealous.
I bet they told me to stop commenting "I want you to be the hot meat in the center of this fluffy corndog"
because secretly, they DO want to be the hot meat in the center of this fluffy corndog.
But I guess not! I guess words mean nothing nowadays.
It's like you can't just harass people who show no interest in you without consequences anymore
God!
Also, fuckin Instagram has to ruin everything
by showing you literally every single thing your crush is doing at any given moment instead of being with you
and also you see everything they like instead of your pictures
and they shove their dumb stupid adorable face in your face
And because I have no self control, I just have to look at all of it?
Instagram knows that I'm weak!
And they're taking advantage of that
I am a wreck!
Also, every time they like a hot person's pictures on Instagram, a part of you dies inside.
Who is Dwayne Johnson
and why are you liking all of his goddamn posts?!
You think someone nicknamed "The Rock" is gonna cuddle better than me?
Why cuddle a boulder, when you can cuddle this
a garbage bag full of wet Beanie Babies that a fireman pulled out of a flooded basement
Then, if they ever mention THEIR crush
it's like, great, I guess I'll just fuck off to the forest, I guess
and hang out with the goddamn gorillas.
I guess I gotta Henry David Thoreau myself out of a bridge
But then what if there's a hot fish person in the bridge water
and I fall in love with him, like in that movie
Titanic.
Then it's like, what am I supposed to do, just let this go
and get on with my life?
Fuck off!
I will obsess about this until one of us dies
or until I replace you in my brain with someone else
and the cycle starts all over again
It's fun, because it's like being addicted to hard drugs
Except worse, because drugs are harder to get
And this I can do all day in my free time.
And finally!
Crushes that don't like you back are FUCKED
because I am a goddamn precious golden nugget
in the sea of fuckin garbage, dirt and sand that is the world right now
Why would you choose some prime rib
when you can have this juicy hamburger right in front of you
dripping hot, greasy deliciousness all over the ground
and it soaks into my bread and makes me all soggy so I can slide down your throat easier
You're not just gonna come across a burger like this every day
And if you can't appreciate me for my two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun
then you don't deserve me BITCH
Alright everybody, thank you for watching this week
As always, you can find new videos every week on Facebook.com/mattbellassai
You can follow me and all of my projects on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram at mattbellassai
You can listen to my podcast, Unhappy Hour, on iTunes or wherever you get podcasts
And that's it! That's everything!
Thank you for watching! See ya next week!
Uh buh bye!
At least I get to kill him in the end.
by leaving him in the water.
because there's no room on this boat
you dumb dick
have fun freezing your balls off on the bottom of the ocean
with all your fuckin friends...
dancing… Irish dancing on the middle of a boat.

How to Create an Athleisure Capsule Collection - Duration: 4:11.
hey guys I'm Claire from BELLA+CANVAS it's no secret that athleisure is taking
over the world and isn't slowing down people of all ages and all demographics
want comfortable lounge wear with a fashion edge a Bella Canvas we released
new silhouettes monthly that are right in step with this trend but how do you
pull all together and merchandise these styles into a cohesive collection today
we're at Eagle Promotions to give you merchandising and graphic design tips to
create a killer line of athleisure apparel today I'm going to show you how
to put together an athleisure fashion capsule for a retail store using bella
canvas product the athleisure it's really relevant in many markets and you
can find it at a college bookstore at any higher-end retail store like
Nordstrom's and Urban Outfitters Bella Canvas is like spot on as far as the
trend goes with a athleisure market their fabrics are great the cuts are
great the colors are amazing I think that that's personally my favorite part
of it because we're not inhibited by just these these basics I chose a cutout
hoodie for this collection mostly because it's just different it's not
something that you see out in the market I honestly haven't seen it anywhere
except for Bella+Canvas I love the exposed elbows I love that it's a crop I
love the colors that it's available in and I really like the crossing at the
neck and it kind of simulates a little bit of like that cowl neck without fully
committing to that that style leggings have become really trending in the
market I think there's something that's comfortable they're easy to wear they're
not restricting I love the bodysuit because it is trending in the market but
it off it also it's a great layering piece
crops are really trending in the market across all body styles it doesn't matter
whether it's fleece or a tee or a tank a muscle a racerback tank you know it's if
we're covering all bases here
make sure that your colors are diverse that they're on trend um you definitely
want to have different fabrics different weights and you want different
silhouettes so that you have an offering for all different body types you don't
want to overwhelm your your customer with too many options but you want to
provide them options you want different length sleeves whether it's a
long-sleeve short-sleeve a tank crops you want to give them layering options
color strategy for merchandising is you're never gonna get away from your
blacks your Gray's your whites all those neutral colors because that is what
people tend to buy however there is not attracted to that that what brings them
in is the pops of color fashion colors colors that are trending in the market
which Bella Canvas is giving us this beautiful color wheel to work from the
errors that people often make when merchandising is they use a lot of color
multipliers of the same silhouette and that's you want them to buy more than
one thing so if you're if you're offering them in the same body in five
or six colors they're most like you're gonna pick their favorite color and walk
out of the store with just one thing but if you can offer them a collection of
six to eight pieces and they love you know six to eight of the garments and
they're in all different colors you have a better chance of capitalizing on that
my name is Mabelle and I'm a graphic designer
we're specializing in retail here at Eagle promotions when designing graphics
for a collection I start by research and look for inspiration we constantly go
and shop the market and check out trends online or or in the runway the five
graphic trends that we incorporated in this collection are bold sports inspired
empowerment's Japanese and placement so are you ready to be ahead of the hottest
trend and build an athleisure apparel line what styles and colors would you
piece together and in comments below share with us how you'd make it your own
and for more content like this video subscribe to our Channel Be Different

Do You Know Your Business Diversity & Inclusion Stats? | Dan Tyre - Duration: 1:00.
By putting that out there in a blog article.
Diversity, and inclusion, statistics at HubSpot,
and our need to improve, right?
We went from one woman on our board of directors to three.
Right, and a person of color.
HubSpot is one of 20% of publicly traded companies
that have three women on their board of directors.
Yes.
How does that make you feel?
That's incredible.
I love that. Me too.
I got goosebumps (laughs).
How do you sell to women, Right.
if you don't have women leaders?
Oh, amen. I know.
It seems logical. Right.
And you and I talked about this.
But, it's 2019, Yeah.
and if 80% of the companies don't think like that,
then we've gotta work harder to get there.
For sure.
And then we started measuring how many managers,
how many executives were, for gender, ethnic equality,
age equality, in an effort to improve that.
And three years ago it was about 25% women were managers.
Next year it was 38%.
Next year it was 45%.
And we release our diversity statistics next week, publicly.

Brazilian Photographer Restored An Entire Forest With 2.7 million Trees In 20 Years - Duration: 6:04.
A part of growing up is becoming aware of changes.
Have you ever wondered how your neighborhood completely changes when you are walking down
those familiar streets ten to fifteen years later?
Now, imagine if you lived in a place surrounded with trees and found all of them have vanished
when you returned from a trip?
That is what happens when we have rampant deforestation taking place all over the world.
We are aware of the problem, but few countries are taking any step towards it.
That's why we need to step up as individuals and make a change.
Enter award-winning photojournalist Sebastião Ribeiro Salgado and his wife Lélia Deluiz
Wanick Salgado.
When the Brazilian photojournalist returned home after his traumatic assignment of reporting
on genocide in Rwanda, he was devastated when he saw the devastation that had taken place
in his childhood land.
The Minas Gerais, his home, which was once a paradise of tropical forests, had turned
into a barren land with no trees and no wildlife.
In an interview, he described the land as sick, with only 0.5% of the area covered with
forests.
He had to help somehow so that his homeland did not turn out to be another wasteland that
many modern forests are becoming.
Salgado's wife, Lélia Deluiz Wanick Salgado, came up with the idea of afforestation – replanting
the forest.
They went on to inspire people, collect funds, gather teams, and recruit partners.
By April 1998, Salgado had founded Instituto Terra with the motive of transforming the
barren land back to the paradise it once was.
The Instituto Terra wanted to recover 1,502 acres of rainforest in the Bulcão Farm in
Aimorés, Minas Gerais.
In 1998, this farm had become a cattle ranch after the deforestation.
It was dubbed as Private Natural Heritage Reserve (PNHR).
Salgado went out for the first seed planting in December 1999 and continued to do so.
Since they had the motive to restore the rainforest back to the way it was, Salgado made it especially
clear that the trees that were replanted should be native to the land.
He had observed that if the trees were not native to the place, the native wildlife doesn't
return to it, keeping the once loud forest, forever silent.
He planted over two million seedlings of 290 species of trees and more.
And the result was amazing!
Due to the replanting process, it was possible to stop soil erosion and as a result, the
water resources present on the farm are slowly getting replenished.
They are going back to the pure state of quality and quantity that they once were in.
The eight natural springs that the forest hosted have come back and are flowing are
the rate of 20 liters per minute.
Plus, the most exciting of all developments is the return of fauna.
172 bird species have come back, of which 6 are already in the danger of becoming extinct.
33 species of mammals have returned, with two of them being vulnerable and about to
be extinct worldwide.
There has been a return of 293 species of plants, 15 species of reptiles and 15 species
of amphibians.
But that is not all that the Instituto Terra is doing.
It slowly turned into a ray of hope for people who were aware of the environmental problems
and knew why afforestation must be turned into a way of life.
To spread this light of hope and awareness, the Instituto Terra created the Center for
Environmental Education and Restoration (CERA), a place for research and education which focuses
on environmental restoration.
It has already looked into the different models of development that exist today and is trying
to modify it to create a model that could be used for sustainable development.
As a result, by December 2012, the Instituto Terra had developed about 700 educational
projects and brought in about 65,000 people who work in more than 170 municipalities present
in the Valley of the River Doce.
It covered the states of Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo, as well as reaching out to
states of Rio de Janeiro and Bahia.
Salgado's mission has been successful.
Now, 10% of the PNHR is left to be restored.
According to him, climate change occurs due to carbon dioxide and there is only one solution
to lowering carbon dioxide – planting more trees!
They are the only beings that absorb carbon dioxide and utilize it well.
The science is already there – the question is: what are we doing about it?

Called to be a Faithful Teacher | Anna Santana '19 - Duration: 2:20.
God started to speak to me through Scripture
as I delved more into
Scripture I was fascinated
I was trying to learn as much as I could
I heard him
and he was like this is where you need to go
you have a gift to speak to others
on a level that they understand and I want to use you for that purpose
it was very clear that God opened that path because things just fell into place
my name is Anna Santana I am a teacher at the local church
delving into the
Scripture really allows me to interact with people in day-to-day life no matter
where they're at and no matter who they are
being a faithful teacher is being
able to understand the Word of God through Scripture
it's making it real
to your life today learning how to understand the biblical text in the
context where it was written and when it was written for the audience that it was
written for and laying that to life now and seeing God's purpose and his story
from beginning to end
it has really allowed me to talk to others in a very
straightforward way not with biblical talk but by telling God's story and I
think understanding God's story is one of the key things that I am learning
through my seminary studies
when I teach whether it's a small group or Bible study class
what gives me energy is the interaction with the people and the student
it's being able to enlighten God's Word in a different way that is not just
the way they've always thought about his word and it's opening the possibility to
interpretations that just go from beginning to the end on God's purpose
one thing that seminary just opened my eyes to is having a better understanding of Scripture
being a faithful teacher is being faithful to God
it's listening to him
and knowing where he wants to take us allowing him to expand our knowledge
and expand our learning through his word

'Drop The Mic' Sneak Peek: Mike Colter Rips Off His Shirt During Face-Off With Ne-Yo — Watch - News - Duration: 2:11.
Mike Colter is going all-out in his 'Drop The Mic' battle against Ne-Yo! In this EXCLUSIVE preview, the 'Luke Cage' star rips off his shirt during their epic rap battle
Watch now! Mike Colter and Ne-Yo go head-to-head on the Feb. 20 episode of Drop The Mic, and this face-off is a classic
Ne-Yo starts off the rap battle and throws all the shade at the Luke Cage hunk. He calls Mike a "D-list Terry Crews!" The singer doesn't stop there
"Even as a superhero you was an amateur… Let's hope for your sake Wakanda needs a janitor
" Did you feel that burn? Because we did! Even though Ne-Yo has a broken foot, he's not going to let that stop him from showing off his moves
He spins around with his boot on in front of Mike! Mike's not going to take Ne-Yo's rap sitting down
