hey guys..
today it´s time for update#1 from my entry for DeLan´s GB "clear sky"
i finished building the kit
and now i will show you what it looks like,
and say a few words about the building and what i think about this kit.
and what i want to do in the next steps. colour, weathering, diorama...
for those who hasn´t seen my entry video with the unboxing,
it´s about Broncos 88mm flak in 1/35
so, please enjoy watching.
now. here it is...
as you see it is a very complex kit..
with many parts
so let´s start with..
...the lafette
you have the option to make the side rails moveable
so you can either show the transport position or the fire position..
but i glued them so that they are not movable
if you want to make them moveable you have to use this small bolt
you can take the bolt out,
fold the side rails and put the bolt back into his small hole...
but it is too small so i glued the bolts...
i just want to show the fire position in my diorama.
therefore i glued them..
but you have the option and i think that´s really nice.
the spikes are not glued so you can take them off
and you can put them into the holders for the transport position.
this took me almost 2 days
very nice detailled...
was much fun to build
and i think it was worth it...
one problem is because of the many small parts you have to be carefull with touching it
i just have to think about fixing it
because the gun is too heavy
here i have to glue the gun on the lafette becaus it is too heavy and it tilts forward
as i said, it tilts forwards and that is not nice..
you can move the barrel up and down
there are many parts you can make moveable
and back and forth on the sled...
haven´t glued the barrel yet....
what else...
the closure is moveable, too
like i said this kit is just awesome
but it was always fun and i had no problems
ok, to be honest there where problems...
cursed a lot and spent much time on the floor (dammit carpet monster) :-)
but my tweezers are not the best..
but it was still always fun.
i´m very impressed of this kit
you can make different levers moveable, too
i don´t know why but you have the option
this lever for example...
but i don´t want to play with it so for me this is not necessary...
only the barrel is moveable...
and this gives you the option to make a tank destroyer, too
it is a very nice option i think..
for sure it´s not necessary to make all those things moveable but it´s still a nice option.
loads of pe parts
i had no bigger problems with them..
the shields are very nice detailled. too
i try to get a bit closer...
still don´t know where to touch..:-)
have to be carefull
try to show it a bit closer
loads of details
again more moveable levers..
you can make the hatches open or close
very complex kit
but it´s definatly worth it
well, now i have to glue it onto the base
that it looks this way
and then i can start painting
i´m going to make a diorama... a winter scene
so i will spray it first sandgelb and then a white winter wash.
but i will do a seperate video for this
so next steps are priming, painting and weathering
still have to do the figures and the equipment
at this point i´m very happy with the results
had loads of fun and i can highly recomment this kit
not for beginners for sure
but with a little bit experience in scale modeling you will have tons of fun with this kit
instructions are very good and nice to follow
parts are all corectly numbered
i´m very happy with this kit
if anybody is going to do a flak the next time i can highly recomment this Bronco kit
well, i would say we see again very soon becaus i´m going to start painting this weekend
i hope we see again
until then i wish you happy modelling
and see you next time. cheers
