Hello everyone! I'm on my way to the railway station.
And many people have been asking me about Russian trains.
"Is it safe to travel by train in Russia?"
"How do Russian trains looks from inside?"
And all that stuff.
So today I will show you how it all works and explain everything.
And as usual I'll do it in slow Russian
if you don't speak Russian, you can use English subtitles.
if you don't see them, just turn them on.
And that's it. Let's get started.
To buy a ticket is not difficult.
You should go to rzd.ru website
If you know Russian, type in Russian.
If you don't speak Russian, there is an English version.
Passengers.
And all the same. Where from? Where to?
Date.
And "buy ticket".
Then loading...
You choose the train.
Continue.
And you can choose the seat.
For example, one.
So...
After that you enter all the personal information.
Name, last name, date of birth...
and so on.
That's it.
It's done.
You pay.
And by the train you'll only need to show the documents.
This is a station.
Here police are checking luggage.
For safety.
Crowded.
Many people.
Everything is as always.
On the station there always is a board with trains.
Departure, arrival.
Always in Russian and English.
If you are afraid of going to Russia because of the Russian language.
Don't be.
All signs are duplicated.
In Russian – in English.
You will understand everything.
This is a train.
Trains in Russia are very popular.
They consist of cars (carriages).
This is a number of the car. Number 12.
This is a platform.
Everything is in snow.
It's snowing.
Passengers are going on the platform.
Inside each carriage there is a long corridor.
Compartments on the left.
Somebody is sleeping.
Windows on the right.
Let's look inside of the compartment.
In each compartment there are 4 berths.
2 upper, 2 lower.
The ticket includes bed linen:
sheet, pillowcase and so on.
The berths can be extended.
And one can sleep.
This is a compartment number 8.
In the end of the corridor there is a board.
Time, temperature.
train car number and WC.
Each carriage has two restrooms.
Toilet.
Sink.
To wash hands.
Each carriage has a boiler.
with a tap like this.
One can drink some tea.
And this is a symbol.
The symbol of Russian Railways.
Glass-holder.
When you buy tea or coffee from a conductor,
they are served in a glass-holder.
And this is terrible cheap coffee.
"3-in-1".
And outside the window there is vastness
outside the window there is Siberian snow.
Lots and lots of snow.
Everything is white.
Romance...
And that was it for today.
As you can see, travelling by train is cheap and it's safe...
So if you visit Russia, enjoy our trains.
And thank you very much for watching. I hope to see you in my next video. Bye-bye!
