Waching daily Jan 29 2017

The climatic second day of the first stage!

The person who will stand against Tokoha Anjou is

the right-hand man of her previous teammate,

Taiyou Asukawa!

Tokoha...

The rules dictate even best friends must fight if they meet one another.

Who will the goddess of victory smile upon?!

I can't afford to lose while Kazuma is in the drop zone.

I won't lose another match either!

Even to Taiyou!

This is

the U20!

Stand Up! Vanguard!

Just you wait, Kazuma! I'll save you now.

I'll paralyze that one first...

No, hang on...What if I Call this one first and then...

Ah! I'm sorry!

Then...Stride Generation!

How do you like Megacolony's poison?

Let's enjoy this ever so slowly!

I can't afford to take it slow!

Do it Taiyou! Don't you dare lose.

Turn 17 Signpost of Light

Ride!

Ideal Maiden, Thuria!

Call!

Anelma, Mylis!

Attack!

I never thought I'd have to fight Tokoha right away...

Tokoha, who was always smiling as she pulled TRY3 along...

Who held an amazing record as a fighter...

I won't be able to win if I don't put everything into it.

Shine down! A new light!

Ride!

Golden Holy Sword, Gurguit!

Taiyou is strong.

He's younger than us but

he's been learning from Chrono and Ibuki

and he stood up to the crisis of Vanguard with us.

He's supporting Chrono's team as his right-hand man now.

However!

Tokoha Anjou can't afford to lose anymore!

Blossom for a new future!

Ride!

Ranunculus of Searing Heart, Ahsha!

Stride Generation!

Governing Flower Princess, Selfina!

That's the girl you beat the other day.

Stride Skill!

Superior Call Osmanthus Maiden, Anelma!

Anelma's Bloom!

Add 2000 Power to three Rear-guards!

Selfina's Skill! I choose Anelma. Add 2000 Power!

Here it comes! Tokoha's Bloom!

No Guard!

Heal Trigger!

Attack Vanguard!

Guard!

Turn End...

W-What am I seeing?

I've mastered your style of Vanguard.

Let's finish this.

It was my total loss.

He showed me the overwhelming difference between us.

But...

I won't let it end like this!

When we meet in the next stage, I'll...

Just you wait, Kazumi Onimaru!

Activate Flower Garden Maiden, Mylis' Skill!

Add 5000 Power to Selfina!

Draw one card!

Miguel and Kazumi Onimaru were teammates.

He's also going to compete in the U20 in Japan this Summer!

If he hadn't been in that accident,

Miguel would have been here this year with Onimaru.

No Guard!

Triple Drive!

But I lost.

Far from inheriting Miguel's feelings,

I'm not even standing on the same stage as him yet!

Critical Trigger!

The Power goes to the right-hand Anelma!

The Critical goes to Selfina!

Where are you looking, Tokoha?

Damage Check!

This is the end!

Generation Guard!

Sacred Heaven Prayer Master, Reia! Her Skill adds 5000 Power to the Shield!

Also Intercept!

Turn End.

Facing Kamui Katsuragi, the champion of the Asia Circuit

is Demise NEO's Sugiru Kariya!

Sugiru Kariya is in the lead with four damage to three.

He has eight cards in his hand.

How will Kamui Katsuragi attempt to attack?

Stride Generation!

Favorite Champ, Victor!

Call!

Exxtreme Battler, Victor and Extreme Battler, Sever-temper!

Also, Furious Puncher!

Attack with Sever-temper!

Victor!

Guard!

Attack Vanguard with Favorite!

No Guard!

Triple Drive!

First Check, Second Check, Third Check!

Critical Trigger!

All of its effects go to Favorite!

Activate Favorite's Skill!

Stand the same number of Rear-guards as there are face-up cards in the G-Zone!

Also, if I Stand three or more Rear-guards, my Vanguard also Stands!

Drive minus two!

Seriously?!

Furious' rush adds 5000 Power to Sever-temper!

I have two of them, for a total of 10,000!

Rush!

Add another 5000 Power!

Attack Vanguard with Sever-temper!

Generation Guard!

Death Star-vader, Demon Maxwell!

Attack Vanguard with Favorite!

Perfect Guard!

Then I'll attack again.

Favorite's Skill lets me Stand my Rear-guards!

If three or more Stand, then my Vanguard also Stands!

T-That's not fair!

It's over!

The King was strong as expected!

The team that won this fierce battle was Team Hell & Heaven!

Kamui Katsuragi!

I lost completely.

This isn't the end. Come and fight me again at the next stage.

Yes!

By the way, I heard you fought Kazumi Onimaru first.

Yes...There was no way I could win.

What was he like?

He was amazing.

It was like the Triggers and everything about the fight was going his way.

I'm counting on you, Doujima!

Geez...When are the guys around us going to get quieter, I wonder...

Next up is this fight!

Taiyou Asukawa has somehow endured Tokoha Anjou's blazing attack

but the damage is now five vs three!

That's right. The person I have to win against now is...

Here I come!

Stride Generation!

Holy Sword of Heavenly Law, Gurguit!

Stride Skill!

I can look at the top four cards of my deck! Superior Call Knight of Daylight, Kinarius!

If the Unit I Called has the Unite ability,

I can either look at the Unit on the top of my deck and Call it to Rest

or put it at the bottom of my deck.

Unite requirements achieved!

Kinarius' Unite! Add 3000 Power!

Holy Sword of Heavenly Law, Gurguit's Skill!

For each face-up Gurguit in the G-Zone,

add 2000 Power to all of my Units!

Taiyou also filled his ranks all of a sudden.

I took five damage just from her first Stride!

Tokoha really is strong!

But I can't lose!

Kazuma is waiting for me!

Guard!

Intercept!

Attack Vanguard with Holy Sword of Heavenly Law, Gurguit!

Unite!

I can look at my deck's top seven cards!

Superior Call Knight of Morning Sun, Edadus!

Edadus' Unite! Add 2000 Power!

I have to...

Yes! Please train me!

So that I can win against Shion and Tokoha!

If we keep winning in the U20,

we will definitely have to fight them at some point!

I don't want to pull you down when it comes to that!

Alright!

I'll teach you everything I know about their fights!

He's cool and perfectly calculated,

but will drop everything to attack at critical moments.

That's Shion Kiba.

Tokoha is unstoppable when she is on a roll.

She fights straightforwardly. Her spirit is in her fighting.

The more he taught me, the more I understood

how much Chrono cares for Shion and Tokoha!

I'm looking forward to the U20!

Perfect Guard!

Triple Drive!

I can't lose!

Second Check!

Stand Trigger!

Stand Kinarius!

In order to protect the feelings Chrono has for the U20...

Third Check!

Heal Trigger!

The Power goes to the left-hand Kinarius!

In order to respond to his feelings when he chose me as his teammate...

Attack Vanguard!

I also can't afford to lose!

Guard!

Intercept!

Attack with the right-hand Kinarius!

She endured Taiyou Asukawa's fierce attack!

Tokoha Anjou defended against it!

Are we seeing Tokoha Anjou's superior experience here?

Yes!

In this fight, both are using

Clans that fight by powering up their Rear-guards.

So it comes down to who can form the strongest ranks?

You must be worried for your sister, Mamoru.

Not at all. A fight is a fight after all.

Taiyou, you've become stronger again.

I'm sure they've also become much stronger!

Stride Generation!

Governing Flower Princess, Selfina!

Call! Pure Maiden, Katrina!

Augury Maiden, Ida's Skill!

I choose Katrina and Anelma!

They can both be regarded as having the same name!

Ida's Skill!

I choose Katrina from the Drop Zone and put her at the bottom of my deck!

Draw one card!

Activate Selfina's Skill!

I choose Anelma! Add 2000 Power!

Superior Call as many Katrinas as there are Selfinas face-up in the G-Zone!

Anelma is being treated as having the same name as Katrina!

I have Called two or more, so Selfina gets plus one Critical!

Katrina's Bloom!

Add 4000 Power to all Katrinas, including Anelma!

Also, Katrina's Bloom!

Bloom!

Bloom!

Bloom!

Here it is! Tokoha Anjou's Bloom Festival!

How many times will she activate it?!

She already had one, and then she Called three simultaneously, so nine times in total.

Katrina is also being treated as having the same name as Anelma, so

Anelma's Bloom will activate three times.

Oh my! Seriously?!

It's a miraculous 12-times Bloom!

Her Vanguard has 75,000 Power!

Her Rear-guards have 94,000!

96,000!

If they're going ahead of me, I'll follow and catch up for sure!

I have no choice but to defend!

Generation Guard!

Golden Beast, Sleimy Flare!

Activate Skill!

I can look at my deck's top five cards

and Superior Call up to two differing Grade Units!

Gerrie! Pwyll!

Guard!

Also, Golden Gurguit's Unite!

Give Flame of Victory the ability to Intercept from the rear.

Go! Kinarius!

Triple Drive!

First Check, Second Check, Third Check!

Critical Trigger!

All of its effects go to Anelma!

Attack Vanguard!

Perfect Guard!

Katrina, Attack Vanguard!

No Guard!

This is amazing!

Tokoha Anjou attacked with super powers but Taiyou Asukawa

just managed to Guard by putting everything into it!

Stride Generation!

Holy Sword of Heavenly Law, Gurguit!

Stride Skill!

Superior Call Golden Gurguit!

Also Superior Call Gorboduc to Rest!

Edadus' Unite! Add 2000 Power!

Holy Sword of Heavenly Law, Gurguit's Skill!

Add a total Power of 6000 to all Units!

Attack Vanguard with Golden Gurguit!

I was really, very nervous about staying in this team.

Attack Vanguard with Holy Sword of Heavenly Law, Gurguit!

Unite!

Superior Call Perimore!

Perimore's Unite! Add 2000 Power!

Also, Perimore's Skill!

Look at my deck's top three cards and Superior Call Jeffrey!

What I was most nervous about was not being able to support Chrono.

Can I become someone like Tokoha or Shion?

Perfect Guard!

It's not about if I can...I will!

Triple Drive!

I will definitely

take Kazuma and Chrono to the next stage!

Stand Golden Gurguit!

Add 5000 Power!

Attack Vanguard!

Mylis! Gladiolus!

Perimore!

No Guard...

He did it!

Taiyou Asukawa won a spectacular victory!

He magnificently beat Tokoha Anjou

and succeeded in saving Kazuma Shouji!

Kazuma!

I owe you one.

Now we're even for the Shop Tournament.

You're late!

You're late, Chrono!

I couldn't help it! My opponent was so slow!

Let's go already.

Yes, let's go.

We have to get back the points you lost too.

I'll get them back double!

Wait!

Hey!

- Let's go, Kazuma! - Just leave that guy behind.

Wait, I said!

I see...

The person Taiyou beat was Tokoha...

He won against her?

Taiyou really is strong!

Kazuma, you...

What?

I respect strong guys too, you know.

Forget that though. Are you alright?

Me?

Anjou was your teammate, right?

Tokoha isn't the kind of person to let this finish her off.

She'll be back for sure.

Real English #24: Voiceless stops - End of words - Duration: 1:33.

Hi, I'm Darcy and welcome back to Real English.

Last week we talked about the voiceless stops - [p], [t], and [k] - and how they can be pronounced differently in different positions in the word.

This week, we'll talk about how they're pronounced at the end of a word.

When these stops occur at the end of a word, they're often unreleased which means there's no puff of air after the sound.

For example, instead of saying 'cat' (voiced), I might say 'cat' (voiceless).

To pronounce an unreleased sound, you put your tongue or lips in the position to make the sound but then just don't release it.

Here are some example words with released and unreleased stops:

There's no tongue twister this week, but try to practice these sounds so you can pronounce them both ways.

Good luck and we'll see you next Friday.

StageFusion - Dubstrument Features - Duration: 4:24.

♫ ♫

Hello everybody!

I'm Jared, and i'm here to tell you a little bit more about our project,

The Dubstrument our mission is to replace the laptops that

high end DJ's are using at big festivals we want to give them something with way more

theatricality we want to give the camera man something to

zoom in on that has the feel of a guitar player wailing away

or a drummer going to town we want to build a real instrument for electronic music

now behind me you can see the foam model

but here i've got the demo box that i made up

these are more the materials that we're going to be building this out of

there's going to be a tremendous emphasis on quality

these will be totally unique instruments for each of these DJ's

I want to take you on a quick tour of the features of this instrument

here we go it starts here with our central touch screen

that touch screen is bordered by lower resolution screens and finally individual pixels

to give it the feel of being faded into the instrument

that touch screen is going to be running Ableton Ableton is some really powerful software that

the Dj's are already using on their laptops but here it's integrated throughout the instrument

in a much more theatrical experience now Ableton breaks songs up into individual

components channel strips

each of those strips represents and instrument, a loop, or a noise

we're going to take those channel strips and carry them throughout the instrument

down what we're calling the roots down the stem

and out into the stage lights and finally out into the audience

the effect from your perspective out in the audience will be that

what starts with just a little bit of software turns into a visual experience of the beats

and signals that make up the song that's a lot more impressive to watch than

a laptop so at this point I've got a song going

i want to improvise over the top of it a little lets say i want a bend or a whammy effect

for that i'm going to lean into the instrument whaa whaa or whatever noise you want it to make

thats just the noise that I can make

If you want to go past that a little further servo's little motors inside of the instrument

are going to carry it all the way over to the percussion hemisphere

this is where you can compose beats over the top of what you've already started on the

other half of the instrument when you impact a drum pad

its going to burst with color around the border and then carry down through the roots

out into the stage lights just like it did on the other side

carrying that visual effect through to everything that you compose

lets take it one step further how about some lasers!

over here we have laser rangefinders from your perspective out in the audience

these are going to look like giant beams of light that i'm playing with my hands

those lights are going to measure where the artists hand is and influence the audio and

lighting in real time it's going to be an awesome effect to see

and to play to be able to ta ta tah over the top of the laser beam

and get and incredibly fast incredibly accurate

response out of the instrument giving it the feel of a real instrument where

there is no waiting for the sound to come out of it

this is going to take what's already done on laptops and make it a tremendously visual

experience for the audience and a more tactile experience for the artist

there are a whole lot more features you guys that i would love to tell you about but

i'm going to keep it short for now i hope you take this adventure with us

check out our kickstarter we've got coming up very very soon

Thank you so much for watching we really appreciate this you guys

until next time thanks

Broomstick Centers - Duration: 3:15.

Hello and welcome to another one of my videos.

In this one, I am going to show you one way of finding the center of

a circle, like a broom stick here so that when you drill it out it is going to

be reasonably accurate so you can turn it or do other things with.

Now, I tried several different applications and methods

from the internet, youtube but I didn't find any that were

particularly simple and effective so this one I managed to figure this one out

and fabricate this. It will only take a couple of minutes, so lets do it.

Now the first thing we are going to need is a stick. This is about a 10mm stick

or half inch stick, and I am going to cut two of them at about, what's that,

six inches / 15cm. Then I am going to nail glue or screw, or all three of them

to a right angle. Then I'll need one that will go across the wide end of that angle.

Then nail glue or screw that as a 'T' marking in the center.

Now we are going to join those two together. I am going to

take this side of my T , this angle here and I am going to align it with the

very point of that "V" and also low enough so that I can nail those across there.

and put a nail through here, or a screw. Now, here is our center,

and that is the line we are going to go from our point straight up to the center

and we want the equal distance from this point to the center

and that point to the other. So lets put it more or less

as we think it is and draw a line, and then measure it with a piece of paper

Draw it from the center line outwards And then make sure that those two lines

are going to go there, any difference just split the difference,

so you can get it central.

Now to use it, you are going to take your pole and your instrument

and you are going to put it into the 'V' of that there , and use this edge here

to draw with a pencil. Now if you have done it all nice and accurately

You will find it will make a cross on it, but if it is not accurate or your pole

is not accurate, that's of no great consequence, you just do more crosses

all over the place, and you will eventually find that a little circle

will appear in the center, and you know that the center of that, is going to be

where you are going to drill or where your hole is.

Now, if you want more accuracy you might be able to, you should change

that nail, and this nail for screws so that you can take it off, shave

a little bit off with a hand plane, and then put the screws back in so

you can compensate for that lead on your pencil.

So there it is, quick easy and cheap.

Improvement vs Perfection - Duration: 1:08.

So do you need to be a Perfectionist as

an Expert...? I say no. Just looking back

at how life goes, you know, life's a bit of a game...

works a game...and let's just look at you,

know the games we play within life, our

hobbies..?

You know, the things we do outside of

work. For me

water skiing was a big game,

it was constant improvement to

reach a higher level, it was never

perfection to reach that high level. I

didn't have to become a perfectionist in

every trick that I learned. I just needed

to keep improving and that's what

you need to do in business too and the

tasks that you you know completing in

building your business. Whether it be

video like this, I'm certainly no

perfectionist, whether it be writing, it's

never, you know, the words on the page are

never perfect, but you do need to strive

for constant improvement. If you're

looking to become that Expert in your

marketplace, strive for constant

improvement and play a game with it.

Better to be on the field playing

than sitting in the stands trying to be

perfect.

Reimagining Plato's Cave | 100 Poems Challenge - Duration: 3:35.

Hi, happy Saturday!

I'm Kaye Spivey.

So this is the last Saturday in January!

We made it!

We're on week... we're on week 4! Yay!

After this point it's gonna start getting a lot harder to keep track of the days because

it was pretty easy in January, just whatever number the day is is gonna be the number of

the day for the challenge.

But, it's getting harder and we can do it!

So today is day 28, 28 poems written this year, which is a lot more poems than I wrote

last year, so this is going pretty well so far.

Um.

This week I was actually pretty proud of some of the poems that I wrote.

Some of the other weeks there'd been some that were a little bit shakier, some that

really either needed reworking or maybe just scrapping.

But this week I have several poems that I'm really pretty proud of.

The poem that I'm going to read for you guys today is poem #22.

This one, if you think back to your English classes or maybe your Philosophy classes if

they ever had you read Plato's The Cave (actually just Plato's Cave, my bad!) this poem is sort

of a modern criticism of the Cave.

We are all seated amid song in a field of bravery

facing all directions catching all shadows

cast off each other's backs, all in turn squinting into the sun

as it crosses slowly overhead.

We are free to stand, free to leave, free to gather and hold hands

and let go at any given moment.

The song propels us forward into night, into stars.

Bodies attract bodies for heat in the night and wander for space in the day

wide open.

I am sitting next to you as you mishear the lyrics

or I mistake your tone-- the sun drifts across the field

and doesn't wait-- and doesn't rush.

It gives us time to watch our own shadows grow and shrink through the day.

And then, because I meant to write a form poem this week but I'm not so good with form

poems, but, I wrote one haiku and I just wanna read this one short little haiku for you.

If the sun rises flowers will open their eyes

and turn to the light.

So congratulations to anyone who's made it this far through the challenge!

I hope you've been enjoying reading each other's poetry, listening to my poems each week.

Next time I see you it'll be February.

So let me know in the comments if you're actually doing the challenge with me.

I really-- I'd love to read everyone else's poetry, I'd love to know what you think of

the poem I read this week.

And if you want to see more, go ahead and give this video a like and subscribe and I'll

see you next Saturday.

Bye~

What do you want?

Hmm?
