NATURAL GLOWY MAKEUP ROUTINE (no falsies) | Roxette Arisa - Duration: 7:43.
what's up guys I'm Roxette
Arisa and welcome back to my channel
so today we're doing this makeup look
it's very natural and glowy and just an
everyday at makeup look that I would
wear a lot I feel like the last few
tutorials that I've done have all been
like super dramatic and prom and like
smokey eyes and stuff so I wanted to you
know take it down a notch and show you
guys a natural makeup look that I think
is really easy to achieve but also very
very beautiful and very glowy which we
all know I love so if you want to see
how I created this look then just keep
watching and don't forget to subscribe
before we hop in it make sure to hit
that little bell if you want to be
notified of all of my videos and they do
so for brows when I'm going for a
super-duper natural look I actually use
my dip brow pomade from ABH I know that
sounds kind of crazy but I also feel
like I can get more precise brows with
this product rather than a pencil
sometimes just because of the texture of
the product and the key is actually the
brush you use so I personally use the
Sigma winged liner e6
this is actually the brush that I use
for winged liner but I find that it
works really well for getting really
small brow strokes because it's so
tapered and then as soon as our brows
are just a little bit filled in honestly
I don't fold them in too much when I'm
going for like this SuperDuper natural
look but you can see I do a little bit
I'll go on doe
I'll go in with this cella ivory lace
highlighter pencil and just go right
underneath the brow bone to give a super
duper natural-looking highlight this is
a really natural highlight it's a lot
lighter than like a concealer would be
so it's just going to give you the
slightest bit of highlight on your brow
bone and then we can move on to brow gel
this is like my writers diet brow gel
I'm telling you guys it is the best brow
gel I've ever tried like it really does
actually hold your brows in place and
it's from makeup forever it's just their
brow gel in the shade 0 which is just
clear they have tented once - if you
want that but I prefer the clear so I
just go ahead and brush through my brows
always going in an upward motion to give
that fullness that
like Stanford Foundation I just want to
keep it very light and glowy I was
actually debating whether or not Stephen
used foundation because a lot of times
like if I'm just going out and I just
want something supernatural I will only
use concealer but let me know if you
guys want to see a different video on
more of like no foundation makeup
routine but for this one I'm going to be
mixing together these two foundations so
it's the Maybelline matte and poreless
in the shade to 30 and then NARS all day
luminous weightless I think it's called
in the shade medium for Bart oh my gosh
many hard is AG there but Barcelona is
the shade so I'm just going to be mixing
those together and then pound to get in
with my Beauty Blender I even sometimes
just go in with my fingers just because
like I said we're just trying to keep
this SuperDuper sheer and natural and
this foundation I mean sorry this video
is really going to be just focusing on
the face makeup just because when I'm
genuinely wearing or going for like a
natural look
I actually don't wear any eye makeup
because see I have like this little bit
of discoloration but I really don't mind
it so if you want you can add on like a
little bit of eyeshadow but I got that
natural shadow going sister and then to
brighten up the under eyes I'd like to
go in with something very lightweight
that's just going to give us a bit of
brightness so I am going to be using a
Zeus cover here this is L'Oreal magic
lumi highlighter pen and it's in the
shade light and I'm literally just going
to apply this underneath the eyes and
blend it in with my fingertips I find
that with concealer it really does give
a natural finish best when I blend it in
with my fingertips and I actually don't
want anything with too much coverage
today so this is actually a good option
because it really doesn't have like full
coverage effects which you know normally
I am all about the full coverage life
but if I'm really really going for this
like sort of dewy glowy natural look
then that's not really what I'm going
for today you know and once I feel like
my concealer is like completely blended
out I home straight to highlighters so
this is my latest obsession is liquid
highlighters honestly I just I don't
know what it is
I love liquid highlighters lately I use
this one almost daily this is the Becca
champagne pop liquid illuminator but I
just got this one I picked it up from
Ulta the other day and
I don't want to try this out so let's
hope this goes well but if not this is a
really good option as well for you guys
if you're looking for a bomb liquid
highlighter if you want drugstore be
L'Oreal one is really good Maybelline
makes a great one
so there's definitely options liquid
highlighters going you can go I'm
getting so excited when I'm tired not
them because I love liquid highlighters
because they're so natural and beautiful
whoo I didn't even tell you guys what
this is this is the Laura Geller liquid
gelato pillow top illuminator does that
sound like heaven or what you guys know
I love the Disgaea the original laura
geller gilded honey highlighters so when
I saw this I was like yes I'm gonna need
that so I just took a little bit and put
on the back of my hand and then I'm
going to take my Beauty Blender and put
it onto the top of the cheekbone whoo
okay Laura gonna we see you liquid
illuminators there's just something
about them that just looks so natural
like nothing else can compare so I
literally take this and I place it like
pretty much all over my face on the
cheekbone on the chin on the Cupid's bow
on the nose on the forehead girl I bathe
myself in this and I will also put this
on to kind of like my eyelid area
especially focusing on the brow bone so
this kind of gives us that glossy lid
finish I do like to add just a little
bit of definition back into the face and
also add a little bit more warmth back
in so I'll take my tarte cosmetics shaky
of concealer it's actually the shade
deep and this is what I'm going to use
to contour but also give in all over
bronze and it just again we're sticking
with that very very natural cat how many
times I said notch on this video
honestly I know it's been a lot but
yellow that's what we're going for so
yeah using creams is definitely going to
list a lot more natural than using
powders so that's why I'm using this guy
today and then we are going to use one
powder today just to set the under-eye
area because my under eyes tend to
crease so I have to do this if your eyes
actually don't tend to crease then you
know you can probably skip this step but
I'm going to be using mac cosmetics
mineralized skinfinish in the shade
light plus this is such a beautiful
setting powder if you're just going for
a very sheer luminous finish because it
doesn't have that much cover and
just really melts into the skin and I
could just go in and curl my lashes real
quick
I actually don't add mascara but I do
like to give them like more of an
uplifted look by curling them and I use
the Lancome lash curler then the last
step is actually going to be this
product that's oh I lost but this is the
Becca Beach tint in the shade fake flash
opal it's actually a really really
beautiful product and I use it as a lip
and cheek tint when I'm going for this
really natural vibe so I'll take it just
on my finger and put it on two minutes
and then I like to set everything down
with the tatcha luminous dewy skin mist
and this is the finished makeup look so
hope you guys enjoyed this video give it
a thumbs up if you did I'm going to list
all the products that we use down in the
description box and you can always leave
me requests for videos that you guys
want to see and if they have a lot of
thumbs up I'll be sure to do them so
yeah that's going to be it for me
remember you are beautiful inside and
out love you guys so so much and I'll
see you likes them

"You Will Be Found" - Dear Evan Hansen at Easter Bonnet Competition 2017 - Duration: 3:44.
What I can't believe it.
I found another one, Veruca!
This is so boring, Augustus.
You must be out of your mind.
I'm having the time of my life.
You're disgusting.
Uh oh.
I think I made a boom-boom.
That's not chocolate.
Have you ever felt like nobody was there?
Have you every felt forgotten in the middle of nowhere?
Have you ever felt like everyone has gone and you'd been left somewhere on the lawn?
The thing is, Easter's can be a crappy time for an egg.
You know ... when they forget where they hid you?
But legend has it, there's a special place where every egg matters.
And no, I'm not talking about a fertility clinic.
Connor Murphy!?
But you're dead!
Spoiler alert!
Now come with me ... Where?
The place all forgotten theater folk eventually wind up.
Carousel Dinner Theater in Akron?
Oh, you sad, uninseminated chicken zygote.
Much better...
There's a place where little lonely eggies go
A place so high above us that you might get vertigo
We can send you there for free Like a trippy gnome from Amelie
Have you seen this, Elizabeth Arden?
I know!
That poor pink and blue little egg!
No.
Bette Midler's doing a show on Broadway!
What show?
Hard to tell.
The rest of the print is too small!
Hey, Little Egg.
Come From Away with us to Gander, eh?
Why would you go with a Newfie, when you could have a ... NEWSIE?
Suit yourself.
But we're signing autographs by the time you guys are still at intermission.
Wait, come back!
Even when the kids go rushing past Holding Easter bonnets with fake grass
And you're abandoned on the ground You will be found
And when you're bothered and annoyed Like you're the whole world's last ovoid
And your yoke has turned to brown You will be found
Hey you! Wise guy!
Know what we do with eggs over at A Bronx Tale, right?
What?
Make a delicious carbonara!
Even when your day has lost its thrill Like the time Punxsutawney Phil
Got stuck under the ground You will be found
Even when the dark come crashin' through You will be found
When you need someone to carry you You will be found
You will be found Here I come!
Not yet.
What are we waiting for?
A sign!
Oh, of course...
The Great Flaming Egg of 2017!
No.
THAT sign!
Happy Easter!
And Passover!

GTA 5 Online: *BEST* ''UNLIMITED MONEY METHOD'' 1.39/1.29 - GTA 5 (PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, PC) - Duration: 4:27.
what's up boys and welcome to the
segment right here on your Sheriff we
got an unlimited money making method
listen you see it in the background I
don't just say it I do it man you guys
always come to me and say yeah Sheriff
how do you have so much money on your
original account and that account is
being kept safe away from rock stars
eyes and I'm working on this mud attack
out like crazy in order to have tons of
money on it I've only been working on
this for like maybe two weeks and I've
already accomplished a loss on it I've
already leveled up to account up to
level 100
my original advice for you guys and it's
still stands by the way it's just a
little bit modified right now because
they took away the Koroma from us my
advice was always do heist
do heist no matter what just keep doing
heist will go back to that when rockstar
takes away the double payout double RP
but right now with this whole event of
double pay or double RP on the missions
you guys owe it to yourself to be
farming this money making method it's
going to make you a ton of money and I
think it's the best one available right
now now I've showed you videos this week
with the brand new DLC that they release
the tiny racers me winning one hundred
and twenty eight thousand dollars ninety
five thousand dollars but let's face it
takes four skills for you guys to make
that money and it's not only skills
sometimes you get targeted by other
players in the round and they make you
lose because they don't have the
foresight of just racing they just
target somebody keep going after them so
my advice to you is take advantage of
the mission now I always browse YouTube
in order to see what type of money
making methods are there people are
saying go for the rooftop rumble
I am completely against that I've tested
out the rooftop rumble with a full room
and the payoff was not the same as the
best method I'm going to tell you right
now if you guys want to make almost
$45,000 time and time again you owe it
to yourself to keep farming the Los
Santos connection it's very easy one of
the easiest missions if you know what to
do now my case I don't have a helicopter
I don't have a buzzard or or or a Hydra
or anything like that so I depend on
other people to go to the sites and hack
the computer usually you want to launch
it with multiple people because you want
to keep fire
- once we go to the site and they hack
the computer if you don't have a la
copter if your look actor it's all good
just be ready in the airport get into
the helicopter that's gonna spawn and
from there it said breathe you're going
to take down all the targets that are
available my advice to you is always
angle yourself the proper way or make
sure you're getting the right shot the
last thing you want to do is blow up the
coke which is on the upper right corner
of that hangar once you take the coke or
one of your teammates by the time you
clear up all the composition in that
hangar somebody's gonna come in and grab
that coat for you all you got to do is
fly high and parachute down to Martins
house don't kill yourself at the end
okay I like to parachute because I love
the parachuting events in this game but
rarely is anybody playing them you guys
this will make you a lot of money as you
can see right here in the video that I'm
showing you right now I got my hands on
the Niro I didn't really want to get it
but it is discounted according to
Rockstar for this week and I wanted to
take advantage of that I also grabbed
the garage the CEO the 60 car garage
when it was also on discount so I made
the best of it I made the best of this
situation I wanted to just grab
everything and just have this character
ready for the next solo money glitch
unlimited money glitch whenever hits you
just want to be ready look in the
comments section boys and girls I got a
link for you guys on how to get the free
plates on your car you need to have
these three plates because whenever
comes a duplication glitch Rockstar is
tracking these cars right now by the
place number that's right so your boy
right here is already got two custom
plates they give you the first plate for
free the second one is 100k
now in my case I've worked hard for this
money on this market account so I'm not
going to mess around with that there is
a way around it that's actually a glitch
within a glitch so I'm gonna have it
linked up for you guys in the comment
section do let me know what you think do
let me know how many plates you got in
your inventory and whenever that next
money glitch hit you know it's going to
be right here on your Sheriff make sure
your part of the notification squad I'll
see you guys on the next segment please
make that money baby

What Is The Programming Language Of The Future? - Duration: 7:27.
Hey, what's up?
John Sonmez from simpleprogrammer.com.
I got a question here that—I get this question quite a bit.
I'm going to try to answer this at least in one way.
There's probably a few different ways I could answer this question but it is: "What is the
programming language of the future?"
I'll read the question I got here.
He says, "Hi John, let me first thank you a lot for doing what you do.
I watch your videos daily and you're really such an inspiration."
Well, that's cool.
Thank you.
"He says, "My Erik from Stockholm Sweden.
I'm 22 at the moment and I'm studying computer science in college.
Prior to this I've worked as a freelancer within web development but I wanted to broaden
my programming experience, so I hit the books.
Right now I'm testing out all sorts of different development, from building apps in Swift,
learning Java, and right now low-level C. My intention is to try and learn as much as
possible, but I still feel like I want to specialize in some type of language and really
master it.
I'm also really interested in AI, artificial intelligence, but don't really know where
to start.
My questions to you are: What is your take on the future of programming languages?
What would you consider the most essential to master not only for now, but in terms of
the future?
Do you have any experience with AI development or know where to start?"
I'm going to skip the AI development question and I'm just going to answer the programming
language of the future question.
I think that the programming language of the future has actually not been invented yet.
I don't think we have that yet.
I think that what we've got right now is we've got a lot of languages that are evolving towards
it but they're evolving in complexity to the point that we need a simplification.
A lot of times what ends up happening with technology is we end up having sort of this
pile up where we build up these huge things and then we have this massive collapse as
a new level of abstraction is put down on top of it and it sort of paves over it and
now we can simplify- things, right?
The reason why I say that is that because languages like C# and Java have become very
bloated.
They're very good langauges and they're very expressive.
You can do a lot with them even some things like—even Ruby and Python and whatnot.
We've gotten a lot of different things.
We've gotten a lot of concepts where—I mean if you think about it, I'll just pick on one
that I know which is C# which is we've essentially taken the language of C# and we've added a
lot of functional programming to it.
You can essentially do functional programming in C#.
You could write C# code that is purely functional and that's sort of—if you think about all
the different keywords, all the different things and C# keeps on growing that's a lot
of stuff.
We've kind of hit this point where you can do anything, but is that really what we need?
What we need is to simplify.
We need to take all those concepts as we're learning, as we're evolving these languages
and we eventually need to come up with a language that is going to be a little bit more universal.
There's really no reason why we have to have so many programming languages.
Right now, almost all programming languages are converging to this point where they all
are kind of on par with what they can do functional wise.
If you look again, some of the ones that I'm more familiar with, I know that C# now can
do a lot.
You can write functional in it.
You can do a similar kind of coding that you would done with F# or Haskell or one of those
other functional lisp and functional languages.
At the same time, Java has also developed now functional programming.
You can do purely Java or functional programming in Java.
I saw a Hacker News article where someone was writing about how they were doing purely
functional programming in Java.
It was a little bit of a bastardization of it but he y, I could see that happening.
C# and Java are almost equivalent.
Java started getting all these features that was being innovated in C#.
I think that there's really no reason why we have to have all these different programming
languages at this point because they're all kind of able to do everything.
Now there's some specialized languages and I understand the argument for that.
So maybe there'll be a few different specialized languages but we really need to come to a
point where we have a general purpose programming language that we just use, that everyone uses
and it gets developed and is simplified because there's just—there's no reason, right?
There used to be a reason why we had all these specialized languages and they existed for
specific purposes.
There are still, like I said, to some degree languages like R and whatnot, but even those
I think we can really collapse under one programming language and that will make things a lot more
effective for the future because we don't have to learn as many things.
There's not as much gaps between communication.
That's what I think is that I think we're heading towards this point.
I think we'll eventually have a language that dominates.
I think we're still early in the development of software development as a career, as a
profession, as a science, if you will, and that that we'll eventually hit that.
Just like mathematics has a standard mathematical notation.
I mean there were a bunch of different ones and now there's just one way in general.
I mean maybe there's a couple, but there's one general way that we do mathematics and
we write down—we have different symbols that we utilize and we pretty much standardize
on that.
I think that programming is no different that we'll eventually find that and we just haven't
found that yet.
As for today, I really couldn't say what programming language that I would recommend.
I did a video on the most popular programming languages for 2017.
You can check that one out if you're curious what my thoughts are on that.
It changes from day to day.
We've got a lot of fluctuation.
JavaScript is still probably a pretty good bet at this point to hit your wagon to and
Python is also one of those ones that I think that I see really increasing.
Its' really hard to say at this point because we still have this very much diversified field
of programming languages out there.
I do hope that we do converge on one though.
I do think that's the future.
I can't see us having just this many programming languages that are now all becoming closer
and closer to functionally equivalent.
It just doesn't make sense.
If you can do the same stuff you can do in C# and Java and Python and Ruby and all the
other programming languages why have so many of them and make things so confusing?
But you know what, technology is never—it doesn't always follow the straightforward
path that I would like it to.

The Vanity Circuit - Old ft. Jrizzal Jrank - Duration: 4:33.
Old enough to feel my bones creaking
I'm not growing anymore
I don't understand how I'm so old
oh please
with every breath I wheeze
I see there's some skin hanging long
I don't understand
how I'm so old
Are you swiping left or to the right, now?
I've been in the in between
Asking us to meet on the first night
You know you can text with me
Thinking that we're meant together
After everything that I've scrolled through
Seeking no more from another
Why don't I try meeting up with you?
Trippin....
dentures drippin...
birthdays tickin...
Baby, tell me how did you get so?
Old enough to
break your bones
I feel like I don't like you anymore
I don't understand how you're so
old to me
with every breath you wheeze
I think there's something going wrong
I don't understand how you're so
old yeah
Whoa, yeah
Whoa, yeah
I don't understand how you're so old
Are we being hip or is my hip out?
Ibuprofen in my spleen
Asking me for meds here in my house
You know you're in luck with me
Acting like I've got it together
All of the equity I've accrued
Retirement funding is covered
How can I not be the way for you?
Trippin... (oh)
dentures drippin... (yeah)
birthdays tickin... (yeah)
Baby, tell me how did you get so?
Old enough, ensure my love
It feels like I can't ignore you anymore
I don't understand why you're not
old to me
with every breath I breathe
I see you've got it going on
I don't even care if you're too old, yeah
Whoa, yeah
Whoa, yeah
I don't even care if you're too old, yeah
(You're a lucky old girl) Whoa, yeah
(You're a lucky old girl) Whoa, yeah
(You're a lucky old girl)
I don't even care if you're too old,
Never thought that it'd be like this
We'll take the year off become cyclists
We can split half a pill with a mountaineer
Now we tryna' cross em off like a bucket list
Trinidad and Belize
Staying where you get some brand new knees
Thinking that I'm leaping at the gold digger world
but this gold finger girl ain't cheap
We rockin two different ages
You gon be turnin my pages
You gotta know, girl, the pace your heart

Creativerse Gone WIRED: Livin' on the Edge (R40) - Duration: 18:03.
Hello, hello.
This is Saraneth, and we are playing Creatverse Gone WIRED.
This video is part of a series of step-by-step tutorials that assume no previous experience
with circuitry, virtual or otherwise.
In this video, we'll be constructing an edge detector circuit, which can be used with
larger machines and clocking devices.
But first we'll create an inverter out of a Logic Gate and learn the difference between
the two, and we'll revisit distance as it pertains to Creativerse machines.
If you're very new to Creativerse machines, I recommend starting with the first video
in this series, "Let There Be Light."
In the description I've also linked the Truth Tables chart, which has all the different
Logic Gates and what results we get with each combination of inputs.
We'll be using this chart a couple of times throughout the video.
For most simple circuits, inputs and outputs are straightforward.
Turn the switch on, and the LED turns on.
Turn the switch off, the LED turns off.
As time passes, the signal changes from false to true and then back to false again.
Or, if we're speaking binary, from 0 to 1 and back to 0 again.
But what if we don't want a constant signal.
What if we want just a small pulse to tell us when the signal changes?
If we're looking for changes in the signal, we're looking for these spots.
The change from 0 to 1 is called the "rising edge," and from 1 to 0, the "falling edge."
How can we make a circuit to detect the rising edge?
We want to see a pulse right as the switch is turned on.
That means we want the signal to make it to the LED, but we also want it to cancel
immediately afterward.
Thankfully, there's already a theoretical schematic we can follow in the real world.
Here we have an AND Gate, with Inverters in front of one of AND's inputs.
Let's add a little something to this image to make it clearer what we're looking at.
There.
In this circuit, the AND Gate is already primed
with one true input from the odd number of inverters.
When the signal travels to both the AND's second input and the inverters, the inverters
slow down the signal with their own propagation delay, leaving a very brief moment when both
inputs of the AND Gate are true.
When the inverters have processed the signal, they change the signal to false, meaning the
AND Gate no longer has two true signals.
The result is a very tiny true pulse from the AND Gate.
Let's try that with Creativerse machines.
Remember you can hold down shift
to keep the wire in yourhand.
All right.
Uh...
Hrm.
This doesn't seem to be working.
The circuit seems simple enough, so what gives?
There are actually two ways Creativerse machines work differently than real world circuits
that might explain why a direct transposition will not work.
I've talked before about propagation delay before, and here I've reconstructed part
of my experiments from the previous video.
This switch connects to an OR Gate, a Delay Gate set to 0 seconds, and an Inverter.
Each of those is connected to another of its kind, and the second to a third, and the third
to a fourth, and so on.
When we turn the switch, we should see the changes move from the first machines to the
last in this line, as each machine must process the signal before moving it on.
So let's try that.
Did we see that correctly? Let's try again.
The lines of Delay Gates and Logic Gates exhibit propagation delay.
But it seems the Inverters showed no delay at all!
Unlike other gates, Inverters seem to process their logic instantaneously, which means we
cannot rely on them for propagation delay in our edge detector.
So what can we do?
We know that Logic Gates have propagation delay.
Let's use one of those.
Pop Quiz.
Inverters take a signal and turn it to its opposite.
With the switch on and outputting true, the inverter outputs false.
When the switch is off and outputting false, the inverter outputs true.
Using just one Logic Gate set to NAND, how can we connect the switch to the LED so that
the LED shows an inverted output?
Pause the video if you'd like.
NAND will output true for everything except two true inputs, but we can make sure the
inputs are always the same by connecting the switch to both of them at once.
When the switch is turned on, it sends a true signal to both of the NAND's inputs,
making the gate output false.
When we turn the switch off, it outputs false to both of the NAND's inputs, meaning the
output will be true.
We've created an inverter out of a NAND Gate.
Bonus question: What other gate can we use in the exact same way to be act as an inverter?
That is, which other gate will give us a false output when both inputs are true and a true
output when both inputs are false?
The answer?
NOR.
If we compare the inverter to our new NAND inverter, we can see the output of the NAND
is just a bit slower than the standard inverter.
We now have an inverter with propagation delay.
Let's set up our edge detector with our new NAND Inverter
just like the real-world schematic.
Hrm.
Not working.
Maybe we need three?
Oof!
It's working! That's good, but . . .
Wow, that pulse is actually quite long.
That almost feels like a whole second.
Not really the quick pulse that we're expecting for our machines.
There's actually one more thing going on here that you might not be aware of,
a lesser-known way that Creativerse machines
are different from real world circuits.
The latter are analog, running on real-world physics where two occurrences can happen at
the exact same time.
But here, in Creativerse, where we play in a virtual environment produced by lines of code, processed
by our own computers one command at a time, two occurrences cannot happen at the
exact same time.
One gate will always process before the other.
I think we forced a lot of that processing to happy with
the huge number of "NANDverters" here.
But I think we can reduce that back to one
with one additional change.
Let's say the game processes the sequence of events something like this:
At a resting state, with the switch off, the NAND inverter outputs true, and the AND,
with one true and one false input, outputs false.
The LED is off.
We flip the switch, so it outputs true.
Only one of the machines can process its inputs at a time.
Let's assume it's the NAND inverter.
The NAND updates its output based on the change to its inputs.
It's now outputting false.
It's AND's turn to process its inputs, which are currently one true and one false.
With one true and one false input, AND cannot output true,
which means our LED was never able to light up.
How then can we take the AND gate
and make sure it processes before the NAND inverter?
As it turns out, distance really does matter.
Let's reconnect.
When one signal goes to multiple inputs, the closest input usually gets processed first.
So, if we want to make sure the AND Gate is processed first, we need to make sure it's
closer to our switch than the NAND Inverter.
If the AND gate processes the signal first, we'll have a moment when the AND has a true
output before the NAND inverter changes the AND gate a second time.
Let's try it, this time placing our NAND inverter farther from the input
than our AND.
Perfect!
Exactly what we want to see,
a very short burst.
"But wait!" you say.
"What if the distance from the source input is the reason the original Inverter didn't work?"
That's very scientific of you! Let's try it.
Hrm.
Again, we see the Inverter Gate completely lacks the necessary propagation delay.
We will have to stick to our "NANDverter."
What if we want a different kind of edge detector?
What if we want an otherwise steady signal to give us
a negative pulse only on the falling edge?
Let's work with our current setup of a NAND Inverter
and a Logic Gate and plan our desired result:
When the switch is off and the system is at a resting state, one input will be false,
and the other input, because of the NAND Inverter, will be true.
Here we want a true output.
When the switch first turns on, one input will be true.
We'll have a moment when the NAND Inverter is still true.
This is the rising edge, not the falling one, so we want to continue seeing a true output.
Next, the NAND Inverter processes the change in its input and changes its output.
The inputs for the Logic Gate are again one true and one false.
We're not at the falling edge yet, so we still want to see that true signal.
Time to turn the switch off, which means its output changes from true to false,
from 1 to 0.
We'll have a moment when the NAND Inverter will still be false before it processes the
change in signal.
THIS is our falling edge when we want to see a inverted pulse.
Output: false.
Finally the NAND Inverter processes the signal and outputs true.
This pulse should end, so we want to return to a true output from our Logic Gate.
Looking over the list of desired behaviors from our Logic Gate, and referencing our chart,
can we see which setting would give us the results we want?
The only time the Logic Gate should output false is when both inputs are false.
Of all our gates, only the OR Gate follows this rule.
Let's try it.
Perfect!
Just by changing the kind of gate, we've made a different kind of edge detector.
In fact, each setting on the Logic Gate produces a different kind of edge detection circuit.
With just two Logic Gates, we can create six different types of edge detectors.
A rising edge detector using the AND gate.
An inverted rising edge detector using a NAND gate.
A falling edge detector using a NOR gate.
An inverted falling edge detector using the OR gate.
An indiscriminate edge detector,
that means it detects both falling and rising edges,
using the XNOR gate.
And finally, the inverted indiscriminate edge detector,
which stays on except for any edge
using an XOR gate.

IKEA's New Smart Lights | Tradfri Gateway Kit - Duration: 4:24.
IKEA's new smart LED system allows you to Control multiple light sources with a single
controller.
Dim the lights or Switch color temperatures.
Access the lights from your smart phone.
And the competitive pricing and portfolio of IKEA products is attractive.
But the current lack of true automation and API support for 3rd party apps as well as
no RGB colors options might keep some people away.
Hi I'm David and this is the IKEA Tradfri Smart LED Kit
So this is the Tradfri Gateway Kit that currently goes for $80 US or $99 Canadian.
Included in the box you get 2 standard E26 LED Light bulbs, a physical remote control,
and a gateway in order to use their Tradfri Application on your phone.
So while I'll only be looking at this specific kit in the video.
IKEA also offers a variety of other light bulbs, panels, cabinet lights, and accessories,
but a lot of them haven't rolled out to every region so be sure to check your local
IKEA store for availability.
Starting off simple you can get started with IKEA's smart lighting system with just a
light bulb and their remote controller.
With the light bulb in place and powered on.
And the remote control powered by the included CR2032 button cell battery.
You can then sync a remote to a bulb by placing it nearby and holding the button on the back
for 10 seconds until the bulb finishes flashing.
You can then continue to sync other bulbs up to a maximum of 10 lights per remote through
this method.
And now with just one remote I have a large middle button to turn them all on and off.
Ability to dim or brighten all the lights.
And even change the color temperature from a warm to a cool white light.
Quick note since it's can be a little confusing but there are two different light bulb kits
for the Tradfri.
The cheaper one only supports dimming, while the more expensive one that I have here support
both dimming and changing the white color temperature.
Changing the white temperature for me is really beneficial, because during the day I really
like having a cool white light that keeps me awake and alert, and during the evenings
switch to a warmer light to relax before I go to bed.
Another thing to note for the color temperature is that you can only switch between 2200,
2700, and 4000 Kelvins.
There's no fine adjustments in between and while 4000 Kelvins is a pretty cool white
light.
It still warmer than a daylight lightbulb in 5000+ kelvin range.
Next, if you want to automate or manage your lights from your smartphone.
You're going to need one of these Gateway devices.
The Gateway connects to your network through a wired network cable and is powered by usb.
After downloading the Tradfri app for your Android or iOS device, and following the easy
to follow instructions to sync all your devices you can now start controlling you lights from
your phone.
Brighten or dim all your lights.
Make adjustments to individual bulbs.
Rearrange the groupings of lights and remotes for different rooms.
Or even create moods to save specific presets and quickly switch between them throughout
the day.
You can also create some simple timers to automatically turn on or off your lights throughout
the day.
I like the Rise and Shine timer that gradually wakes me up by slowly brightening the light
in the morning, and the Away from Home timer is useful to automatically turn the lights
on for specific periods of time.
But the last timer called On or Off doesn't currently operate the way I think it should.
For the most part it basically the same thing as the Away from Home timer.
Which is unfortunate because as is the app lacks anyway to permanently turn on or off
all the lights at a specific time.
Another lacking feature is that you can't specific the brightness, color temperature,
or mood for these timers.
The lights will instead just revert back to whatever setting they were last using.
So that's a quick look at the IKEA Tradfri Smart LED Kit.
A pretty simple Smart LED system that allows you to control multiple lights and modify
brightness, white color temperature, and even create moods over the smartphone app.
While the app currently isn't super robust for automating your lights, and also lack
any APIs at the moment for 3rd party integration.
It does support the basic smart features that I need, the pricing is pretty competitive
and the integration into future IKEA products is definitely intriguing.
But hope you guys enjoyed this one.
You know what to do.
And I'll see you in the next video.
