then we can obtain that thing

It is an amazing secret
In the 4th Pauri of Siri Japjee Sahib
We all read it but don't discover the secret
What is the secret?
In this first Pankti Guru Sahib has listed 4 Gun of Vaheguru
He is the True Lord
His Naam is true
His speech is love-filled
and He is great
In the next Pankti Guru Sahib says
what is the meaning of this Pankti?
First proclaim and then ask
You have probably seen beggars here they are very trained
Sometimes we have thought that we won't give anything to the beggars
But when they come they speak in such a way and ask in such a way
they make such a face and say such words
that you without thinking give them money
we don't plan to but we end up giving
First they are proclaiming
May you live forever, you kids, don't know what else they say
first they are proclaiming
This is what GUru Sahib has taught us, before asking proclaim. Proclaim what?
What has been listed before, True Lord, True Naam, sweet is his speech
meaning do Vaheguru jee's praises
some people just start doing empty begging
First do Paath with focus, do Keertan
Jap Vaheguru's Naam
That we have proclaimed Vaheguru's praises
then beg
First proclaim then beg
Then when we beg, how should we beg?
Give! Give!
Now Give to me!
Then what does Vaheguru do?
Then Vaheguru gives what we ask for
If we don't beg according to the method
then we don't obtain what we want
If someone uses the method while focusing
does praises of Vaheguru jee
and then begs from Vaheguru's door
He will obtain his desires
Rest this is what Gurbani tells us
We have to bring this into our personal experience
Sometimes its contemplated that nothing else should be asked for
That is true, we shouldn't want anything else
But asking for the basic necessities is part of Naam
That's why Bhagat Dhanna jee asked for them
That's why Bhagat Kabir jee taught us how to beg
Roti, Kapray, House, basic necessities
If we first beg for something small
let us think, we asked for something from Vaheguru
In this way with focus
and we obtain that thing
where will our faith go? From here to there
We are going to become aware of Vaheguru's existence at that time
When Vaheguru responds back to us, when communication is two way
Most times communication is one way "Please do this, Please do that"
we don't get any answer back
When we get a response back we will be filled with wonder
filled with gratitude
So there is nothing wrong with asking for basic necessities
which Bhagat Dhanna jee has taught us to ask for
Which Guru Arjun Dev jee has taught us to ask for
What we have been taught to ask for let's ask for that and increase our faith
Or if we are in that spiritual stage
that we don't need anything else then that's fine
that is totally true and relevant
But according to our Avastha if we beg from Guru Sahib our faith and love with increase
