Waching daily Jun 30 2017

hi guys what's up it's Ashley and welcome or welcome back to my channel today's video

I'm going to be doing my favorites for the month of June and I honestly don't

have that much to say so let's just go ahead and get started

starting the month off on june 6th I actually met all time low and then on June

12th I met bethany mota at her book signing

which was super awesome and now my mom is officially off for summer break so

all of our super fun summer adventures can begin and I am very very excited she

is so like ready to learn how to use my camera and help me film and make videos

and create content and I am just very very excited on to my favorite products

and things I have been loving lets just go ahead and jump on it and the two kind of more

random things that I want to talk about I'm just going to go ahead and get out of

the way firstly is this nail polish mini set it was this one and a red nail

polish they came together and it's the OPI Audrey Hepburn Breakfast at

Tiffany's collection its a very true to itself pale nudey pink color and I

absolutely love this color it's called bubble bath and I'm seriously obsessed with

this nail polish the other random thing I have actually mentioned previously in

a favorites video that was my essential oil diffuser seriously guys in the past

month I have gotten so into my essential oil diffuser I have a set morning

routine and a set night routine now this has helped my mood this has helped me be

more productive I sleep so much better at night and it's so great so I have two

different combinations that I use for the mornings and the daytime I use a mix

of lavender sweet orange and a little bit of lemongrass it really helps boost

my mood and make me some more awake at night about an hour or so before I go to

bed I will put on my essential oil diffuser in that I put lavender again a

whole ton of lavender into this mix and then I put in frankincense and

eucalyptus and then a little bit of rosemary I have a few food items that I

want to share with you guys but one of them is not for eating

so this one is apple cider vinegar and I use the Bragg's one which is organic raw

and unfiltered apple cider vinegar that's the type that you want to get

i actually put this on my face i dilute this with water which please look it up do your

research read all the facts and follow directions this helps with redness

hyperpigmentation and I don't want to say necessarily that I just helps with

my breakouts but I do think that it has helped improve some of my breakouts

going along like I said I have my set morning and night routine that I have

been following as really helps improve so part of my night routine is drinking

tea I found this celestial seasonings this is their sleepy time vanilla herbal tea

caffeine free and this is so super good guys I use this with a splash of almond

milk super good okay next up I'm going to talk

about some books that I have read the first book that I read is called the

list by Siobhan I probably messed up your name I'm sorry

Vivian I had really high expectations for this book but it kind of let me down

it was a little confusing to follow I'm just not a really big fan of this book the

next book that I read is called we are all made of molecules by Susan Nielsen

guys this book is amazing first of all one of the main characters name is

Ashley which I thought was hysterical I loved this book so much when I first

started it I wasn't sure if I was really going to love it or it was going to be

like oh okay at the end of this book I was in love with it I wanted it to continue

this book is so so so good the next book that I read it was bethany mota's make

your mind up this book is seriously awesome especially the first half I

think that every girl under the age of 16 must read the first half of this book

I feel like the other half is very you know Bethany and sharing kind of like

similar things that you can find on her youtube channel which is also awesome

but the very personalized beginning of it was definitely my personal favorite

part and currently I am reading this book it is called The F It List by

Julie Halpern I think I say her name I'm on chapter 6 so yeah so far I've

been enjoying it in my first week of summer I finished the series Girl Boss

which I was pretty excited about I have actually never been to Nasty Gal and

I've actually never read the book girl boss although I do want to purchase it I

was very intrigued because I did know about it so I was happy to watch the

series I will say that is a little bit too raunchy I guess is the word for me

if I didn't know that it was about the girl boss and Nasty Gal like if you took

those components away from it it definitely wouldn't have been a show

that I would continued to watch but I did really enjoy another show

we need to talk about and I am obsessed with and if you guys follow me on

Pinterest I have a whole Pinterest board dedicated to the show and that is

Riverdale I don't know what took me so long to catch on to this show I feel

like this is this generations Gossip Girl because if you guys didn't know I'm

also obsessed with Gossip Girl that show started on the CW and Riverdale comes on

the CW and I am all for it I'm obsessed bughead

forever I finished the show in two days actually Jacob Jacob Whitesides he has

literally told me like i have the Dm's from him saying you need to watch

Riverdale and i just i just never did until this month but I am so happy that

I did because I am obsessed but if you guys do have any Netflix shows or movies

recommendations for me please please please let me know because I'm currently

re watching Gossip Girl for about the 7th or 8th time lastly I'm going to talk

about music and I'm going to just briefly breeze over music I actually

uploaded a few videos ago a video called current jams it's an ongoing playlist on

my Spotify that will always be there and I will always be changing songs and adding

things and all of that so my Spotify is always in the description box below we need

to talk about some albums because some albums came out this month Katy Perry's album

Witness love it love my girl love my mom she's best All Time Low Last Young

Renegade bomb I am a little sad that they're kind of changing their sound but

I still like the music also I need to mention the band Broadside this new

album Paradise is bomb dot com I love it so much and I just said bomb dot com I don't

know why I said that this album is amazing I'm in love with it and

I'm so so happy that I have like really dove into Broadside as a band because

they are so much better than like the four or five songs that have been on certain

places line that I have been loving that is all for my June favorites video

I'm sorry this is on the longer side I'm really really trying to work on keeping

these favorites videos under five or six minutes but as you can see it's not

really working because I talk too darn much I hope that you guys like the video

regardless let me know what some of your favorites from this ones were down below

Indian Foods that you thought were healthy but AREN'T - Duration: 7:37.

In this video, I am going to share with you ten foods that you probably think are healthy

but actually they are not.

If you are not getting the desired results, I would suggest you to watch this video till

the end because the chances are that you might be consuming one or more foods out of these

ten on a daily basis.

So without any further delay, let's get started.

Hello Friends, welcome to Fit Tuber.

The number 10 food on the list which you think is healthy is corn flakes.

If you will check the nutritional information label at the back of the corn flakes packet,

you will find that one serving of corn flakes has about 100 calories which is very less.

It has almost zero grams of fat which is great.

It has about 27 grams of carbohydrates which is fine because it is actually a carbohydrate

source.

So what is the problem?

The problem is that it has only 1 gram of fibre.

Now, a complex carbohydrate source that is a whole grain has just 1 gram of fibre.

Isn't it odd?

Well, you will get the answer to this if you will check the ingredient list.

Apart from all the artificial flavours, it contains high fructose corn syrup.

High fructose corn syrup is nothing but synthesised form of sugar.

In my opinion, if you find a product which has high fructose corn syrup in it, just stay

away from it.

So most of carbohydrates that you find in the corn flakes are coming from this.

Because it is a simple form of carb, it will give you energy for a very short duration.

It will spike your insulin and ultimately will get stored as fat.

It is much better to switch to healthier options like whole wheat porridge and natural oats.

Number 9 is brown bread.

Now you might be thinking how brown bread is unhealthy?

It is a whole wheat bread.

Well, it should be but unfortunately it isn't.

If you ever go through the ingredient list of brown bread you will find that the ingredients

are mentioned in this way.

Wheat flour, whole wheat flour.

Now, what is the need of mentioning it separately?

Well, this is because the former is refined flour which is nothing but maida.

So, if you will have this so called whole wheat bread on a daily basis, it will lead

to fat storage.

So next time when you buy a brown bread, make sure you check the ingredients carefully.

Unfortunately, in Indian market it is very hard to find a 100 percent whole wheat bread.

So you may want to keep this in moderation and stick to whole wheat roti.

Number 8 on the list is peanut butter.

Now don't get me wrong.

Peanuts are a source of essential fatty acids which are great for heart, brain and other

body functions.

And so is natural peanut butter.

However, most of the peanut butter that you get in the market is adulterated with hydrogenated

oils, salt, sugar, preservatives and additives.

Hydrogenated oils are the main villain here.

Hydrogenated oils are vegetable oils whole chemical structure has been altered by excessive

amount of heating at high temperatures.

Doing this will increase the saturated fats and trans fats in the product.

Such peanut butter will do more harm to you than good.

Actually, why would you want to buy such peanut butter when you can make all natural peanut

butter at home in just 15 minutes.

Yes, the recipe to this is on the channel.

I will link it down in the description.

Next on the list is Act 2 popcorn.

Popcorn is ideally low calorie great snack option.

However, the act 2 popcorn which we are generally used to eating are not great option.

Act 2 popcorn packets are loaded with partially hydrogenated oils, artificial flavours and

colours.

Eating Act 2 popcorn on a daily basis can increase the fat in your body and may also

lead to heart diseases in the long run.

My suggestion to you to not to go for such shortcuts.

You can make popcorn at home with little or no oil whatsoever.

It hardly takes any time.

Next are energy bars.

Energy bars were actually made for long distance runners and endurance athletes.

These were designed to give them quick energy.

So they contain a lot of simple sugars.

It will not be an exaggeration if I call these energy bars as sugar bars.

Because most of the carbohydrates in these energy bars come from simple sugars.

In my opinion these are not made for normal people like us.

So our body can not utilise all these sugars and they will spike the insulin and ultimately

get stored as fat.

So, if at all you want to have something like this on the go I would suggest you to have

peanut jaggery chikki.

It is a much better option.

Next is full cream milk.

Full cream milk also known as whole milk or full fat milk is not a great option when you

are looking for fat loss or lean muscle gains.

This is because 100 ml of whole milk has about 5 grams of fat.

And most of it is saturated fat.

Now, the daily recommended intake of saturated fat is not more than 20 grams.

So if you are consuming 500 ml of full cream milk, you might be consuming too much of saturated

fat.

Too much of saturated fat can lead to clogging of arteries and other heart diseases.

Moreover, full fat milk is costlier than low fat milk.

So, why would you want to buy something which is expensive and which may also hinder with

your fitness goals.

Now white rice is a staple food of India.

It is eaten almost everyday especially in south India.

So, is white rice unhealthy?

Well, they are not healthy either.

If you finding it hard reducing your weight, there are chances that you are having white

rice on a regular basis.

Do you know that white rice is formed from brown rice.

When the husk of brown rice is removed and polishing is done, we get white rice.

And in the process of this refining we lose essential vitamins, minerals, omega 3 and

fibre.

And all we are left is simple form of carbohydrate.

Simple carbohydrates give you energy for a very short duration.

Eating white rice on a regular basis will spike your insulin and get stored as fat.

It may also become a reason for obesity and diabetes in the long run.

So what to do?

Well, it's simple.

Switch to brown rice.

These days loose whole grain brown rice are very easily available in the supermarkets

at about 50 to 60 rupees per kg which is not expensive at all.

Next on the list are packed soups.

Now packed soups are one of the best low calorie starters which fill your tummy and make you

eat less in the actual meal.

However, packaged soups are the worst soups that you will ever have.

They have so many ingredients that your body doesn't need.

Moreover, they are loaded with a lot of sodium.

One small pack has about 2400 mg of sodium which is way above the daily recommended intake.

Too much of sodium leads to water retention in your body which makes you put on weight.

Also it leads to medical conditions like hypertension and high blood pressure.

So it is always recommended to make soups at home with fresh ingredients so that they

provide all the benefits that they are meant to provide.

Next is masala oats.

Now, when people hear oats, they automatically relate it to being healthy.

Well, it's not the case when it comes to masala oats.

They also have the same problem as we discussed with the packaged soups.

They are also loaded with unwanted additives, preservatives, colouring and flavour.

No doubt, oats are a great source of complex carbohydrates.

They are rich in soluble and insoluble fibres which help you lose weight.

So, I would suggest you to buy natural oats and make them masala at home.

You can customise them with your favourite vegetables and spices.

Last but not the least, processed meats.

Now, these are probably the worst of all foods that we have discussed today.

The normal meat is chemically altered to increase the shelf life, enhance the flavours and make

it more stable.

Meats undergo a lot of processes like salting, curing, fermentation and smoking to get the

desired results.

These are so unhealthy that world health organisation has added them in group 1 list of foods that

cause cancer.

So make sure you avoid bacon, ham, sausages and other forms of processed meats at all

cost.

So friends, that's all for this video.

My idea of making this video was that you should be aware of what you purchase and what

you eat.

So next time when you go for grocery shopping, don't judge a product with what is written on it's front.

Go at the back and check the nutritional information and ingredients and buy it accordingly.

So friends, I hope you found this video helpful.

Well, if you did, please do give it a thumbs up.

And also please do remember to subscribe to my channel.

My name is Vivek, I thank you so much for watching.

I Filed Bankruptcy But My Creditors Are Still Harassing Me! Now What Do I Do? - Duration: 2:03.

I filed bankruptcy but my creditors are still harassing me.

Now what do I do?

My name is Ron Drescher.

I'm an attorney practicing bankruptcy and creditors rights in Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania

and Virginia, and the good news is they can't harass you.

They can't do anything once you file that bankruptcy.

In fact, they really can't continue to harass you even before you file the bankruptcy if

you tell them I'm represented by an attorney, here is his phone number, please direct all

your communications to my lawyer.

In fact, when my clients hire me, I give them a binder, and in the binder I have a green

sheet that lists that very speech so that my clients are always prepared in case the

creditors do call and I have a log that I want my clients to fill out with all the information,

the name, the date, the time, what the creditor said, the identity of the creditor, so that

we can first we send a cease and desist letter because we really want to bring peace to my

clients.

Then, if they continue to harass them, we can sue them for damages.

It doesn't happen that often because most creditors have figured it out by know and

they adjust their practices once their borrower files bankruptcy but you are entitled under

federal law to peace and protection from your creditors as soon as you file bankruptcy.

My name is Ron Drescher.

I'm an attorney practicing bankruptcy and creditor's rights, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania

and Virginia, and if you want peace from your creditors, please pick up the phone and call

me.

I would love to hear from you.

PHP Tutorial For Beginners: File Upload - Duration: 16:22.

in this video tutorial you will learn how to create PHP file upload script so

stay with me

Hey, what's up guys Senaid here from codinpassiveincome.com

the place where I help others to become a web

developer much easier and faster and then they will do it on they own so if that

is something that interests you consider subscribing so now I'm here at my phpstorm

and I have created an empty PHP file upload project and also I have created a

new empty uploads folder and an empty index.PHP file so first thing that

we need to do is we need to check are we able to upload files to this server so

in my example I will use my localhost which is

XAMPP server and I know that it's already alowed for me to upload but for some

of you it may be it's not so you will check it by opening PHP tags and then

here we will say echo and call the function PHP info and let's open this

in the browser so as you can see I have got some informations about my server

as you can see using PHP version 7 and here you can see loaded

location and open this file you can go manually but I will use my terminal and

just like get it and hit enter and this file is opened so now I will search for

file uploads and as you can see at the moment for me it is set to on it could be

set to off or maybe can be like this so whatever the case

that I save the file and you are set for this tutorial also down below there are

some other settings left like maximum file size that you can upload also

now first I'm going to create an empty html document so I will just say

html in the head I will just have title and I will say PHP file upload and

here I will say body and inside body our - case are simple html form so

I will say form method I will use post action

I will this same index.PHP file and since we are uploading file we need to set

encryption part to the multi-part form data okay and now we just need two inputs one

input the type will be file I will give it some name let's say

attachment and we need one button which is of course submit button so that is

choose file we can click there use any file it's open and then click on the

upload and as you can see right now it is nothing happening because we do not have

any PHP code that will handle the post from this form so in the

PHP let us first let's say this and here I will say

if(isset($_post['submit']); which means if someone press this button

will execute the part of the code that files so I can say

target file=uploads so the folder will be uploads and now in

this folder we need to set the file name how we will store it so what I'm going

array so let me just show you what it is so let's say I will just print this

okay so continue choose file okay I would upload and as you can see now this

files is an array associative array and inside of this array I have another

which is this type of the file we have temporary name we have error which means

to get this name I will say files attachment name we can also test that

let's say like this files attachment in that name and let's

see that as you can see we have that so right here is I want that my target file

is in the folded upwards and then the name will be whatever the name of the

file is but he are using the base name want so we just want to get the file

name and that's what this base name function is good so if you want we can

echo this target file just to make sure it's looking good as you can see our

target files upload and to this folder uploads folder we will need a function

move uploaded file so i will use files

this location file to this location so we'll use this temporary name okay

and you can say echo file uploaded so as you can see I'm using here if data

if the file is uploaded or not and if it is we will execute part of the

code let's say in this example will execute echo file uploaded continue it says file

got my picture.png file so what will happened if I try again it's a work

again but the question is how can we take it the same file already exists and

using the function if file exists so I will say if file- target file I can see echo

echo file already with this name already exists now as they see else if

okay so let's test now continue it says filed with this name already exist

which means we are not going to upload this file again until we have different

file so we can go to the for example that this is open hit upload and it says

file uploaded and now I have another file the thing is now how can we protect

type of the file so let's say you want to create an image uploading form and you

want to get the extension of the file so I can say extension = pathinfo() and I will

use pathinfo() function and here I will just the target file and let's say I

will check for PHP so let's see what is extension echo

extension it says so the extension is this here sql so we can

say here if extension different than and experience different them

and let's say different then jp jpeg echo

only the image files are allowed now let's say he else if okay so let's say let's

test it now I'll try to upload again and see only the image files are allowed

because the extension of our file is not any of the image file that we define it

so if we try now to upload the picture and I hit upload it says file uploaded

because the extension is png and the last thing that we can check is we

can find the size of the file that is uploading and we can limit how big file

it is possible to upload so as you can see from this array we have size and as

you can see here this is 312 kilobytes because this is in the bytes

so what you can do is let's say we will limit so that all the files above 200

kilobytes are not possible to upload so we can say if files

attachment size bigger than 200 kilobytes echo "your file

is too big" else okay and let's that's now so if I try now to upload the same

file again I can go to the upload and says your file is too big okay so let's

just for the purpose of this tutorial I will set wing to the 500 kilobytes so

that we can upload and let's test again now this file with this name already

exists which means that we passed this this and the problem of code right here

What is Habitat AmeriCorps? - Duration: 1:18.

Hi my name is Dominiece Jackson.

I'm from Chicago, Illinois, with Habitat Chicago.

AmeriCorps is a national organization where you're doing a year of service, helping

communities throughout the U.S.

Before I joined AmeriCorps, I did not know about construction, and kind of just went

in with an open mind and learned a lot, asking a lot of questions, making a lot of mistakes.

And I really think I got the process down of how a house goes from nothing to complete.

If you're willing and able to learn and you're curious, try it because you'll

be amazed at how much you'll learn.

You're constantly in a space where you're growing and you're changing.

I definitely want to continue working in communities that want to see change and growth, and I

want to make sure that other people learn these skills and are able to take care of

their own homes.

AmeriCorps has given me patience, curiosity, and it's given me joy.

Humans vs Robots - Are YOU Becoming Obsolete? - Duration: 8:34.

This video is sponsored by Pixonic, the creators of an awesome mobile game called War Robots.

We all know that robots are slowly replacing the military...just think of how drones are

replacing airplane pilots.

Now imagine if you were controlling a robot on a battlefield.

War Robots is a tactical multi-player game where you get to equip your own robot that

you will then use to battle other players LIVE.

There are hundreds of weapon - robot combinations, and you get to build your robot however you

want.

When we first started playing the game, we had a few issues with the controls, but by

our 2nd or 3rd game, we were fully in control.

We're not tooting our own horn here, but we are yet to be defeated.

The download links are available in the description of this video, and if you click OUR download

links, you will get 2 Punishers, 100 gold and 100,000 silver to start with.

We have been having a great time playing it, and the number of different maps, robots,

and players from around the world makes it loads of fun.

Now let's start talk about the robots that are coming for you.

'The robots are coming for our jobs' is a mainstay assertion in the media these days,

but how seriously should we take it?

Do you drive a truck for a living, deal with insurance claims, lay bricks, or are you just

a simple farmer?

If so, the soothsayers with their eyes on the tech industry may regard you as primed

for unemployment in the next few years.

When McDonalds workers complained about low wages last year, the response from former

CEO Ed Rensi was, "It's cheaper to buy a $35,000 robotic arm than it is to hire an

inefficient employee who's making $15 an hour bagging French fries."

He made the statement after returning from a restaurant industry show where robotic devices

were given a chance to demonstrate their talents.

How soon will the robot revolution come, and which jobs will go first?

Today we'll find out, in this episode of the Infographics Show, Robots vs. Humans.

Don't forget to subscribe and click the bell button so that you can be part of our

Notification Squad.

10: Fast Food Restaurant Worker What robotic magic did Ed Rensi behold that

was so impressive he felt human workers should be denied a pay rise?

It might have been the self-serve kiosk, the machine set to supplant the human touch when

we hear, "Do you want fries with that?"

American burger restaurant Wendy's announced in February that by the end of the year, it

will have self-serve kiosks in a thousand of its restaurants.

Fast food chains McDonald's and Carl's Jr. will reportedly do the same, with the head

of the latter company stating this year that robots are "always polite, they always upsell,

they never take a vacation, they never show up late."

Your job isn't safe in the back, either.

A burger bar in San Francisco has a robotic burger-maker that can prepare and cook your

burger three times faster than a human.

Designed by start-up, Momentum Machines, the robot can make 400 burgers an hour.

Then there's 'Flippy', a robot that grills your burger and will be put to work

at 50 outlets of CaliBurger over the next two years.

9: Taxi Driver Tesla Motor's CEO Elon Musk is so confident

that machines will take so many jobs soon, that he says the only answer to job loss is

a Universal Basic Income, which means everyone is given enough money to live a decent life

whether they work or not.

Tesla is currently working on self-driving car technology, as are multiple other companies

such as Google, Uber, GM, Ford, and many more.

Each company is looking to take over the self-driving taxi market, or ride-hailing market.

Navigant Research rated how far each company had gotten with its tech, rating it from level

one to four – with four being completely autonomous.

Ford came out on top, but the auto-maker doesn't expect its fleet of self-driving cars to be

ready until 2021.

8: Bank Teller In the near future, there won't be much

need to go into your bank.

The ATM is going to become much more of a multi-tasker, according to reports, soon able

to do such things as open accounts and process loans.

The CEO of a software company called Diebold said the ATM of tomorrow will be able to do

90% of the work of a teller.

Sadly, or perhaps not, the end of the bank teller seems to be nigh.

Bank JPMorgan Chase has said right now about 60% of transactions that involve a bank teller

can be performed by an ATM, but that will rise to 90% with its introduction of new ATMs

in 2018.

7: Data Analysis One of the world's leading automation software

companies, Automation Anywhere, said it's in the process of unleashing a 3 million-strong

bot workforce.

Its software is used mainly for analyzing data, which could mean processing mortgages,

or legal work involving cognitive software that goes through thousands of pages of documents.

Such cognitive technologies are even being used by the Pentagon at present to analyze

thousands of hours of drone video footage taken over Syria and Iraq.

Going through huge amounts of data can be mundane work, and this is one of the first

areas where robots will lend a hand.

Some good news is financial services company Accenture reported this year that it didn't

lay-off one employee when it replaced 17,000 of them with robots, it just repositioned

them in the company.

6: Farming Whether milking a cow or picking fruit, millions

of farmers are about to lose their job to a robot.

Danish company F. Poulsen Engineering has designed a machine that is a lettuce weeder,

a job that is back-breaking work and dangerous due to chemicals.

Automated lettuce weeding will save humans from potential backaches, but also work around

the clock, at a faster speed than a human, thereby saving farmers money.

Speaking of lettuce, a vegetable factory in Japan called Spread grows 10 million heads

of lettuce a year, and its workers are robots.

Agricultural robotics, Goldman Sachs predicts, will become a $240 billion market over the

next few years.

Other examples include a UK project, Hands Free Hectare, that uses an automated tractor

to grow crops.

Stensland Family Farms in the USA has 170 cows that are all milked by robots; there

are drones working in French vineyards that can inspect vines, and another machine called

Wall-YE that can prune the vine every five seconds during its 10-12 hour battery charge.

5: Journalists An investigative journalist or a colorful

features writer has nothing to worry about for now, but robots are already taking jobs

away from basic report writers.

Artificial intelligence already generates a small amount of content we read, and has

been adopted by large media agencies such as Reuters.

The Associated Press partnered with an automation firm in 2015 and its number of earnings reports

went up from 300 to 3,000 a month.

AP has stated it not only saves money, but the machines make fewer errors.

While the role of robots writing sports reports may have been hyped, AP does use them to write

Minor League Baseball stories that cover 13 leagues and 142 teams.

4: Medical Professional Surgical robots are improving all the time,

but we still need surgeons.

An automated doctor can make a diagnosis by asking you to stick out your tongue, but we

still need doctors.

Automation, however, will vastly improve the healthcare field using algorithms to make

diagnoses using quantifiable data.

In total, there are about 10,000 known human diseases, and machines are now helping professionals

to spot them.

Hospitals all over the U.S. are using IBM Watson Health's algorithmic magic to help

diagnose cancer.

Microsoft said last year it will cure cancer using its artificial intelligence, while researchers

at Stanford University are currently working on algorithms to detect eye conditions by

scanning thousands upon thousands of images of eye ailments in a second.

It would take a human professional a matter of minutes to look at one image.

3: Construction Meet SAM, the construction worker of the future.

The acronym comes from semi-automated mason, otherwise known as a robot bricklayer.

Designed by Construction Robotics in the USA, SAM is a competent bricklayer that can lay

perfect rows of bricks and follow building plans.

Its sensors and algorithms help it make sure the work is done right, and its productivity

is better than that of humans.

SAM lays somewhere between 800 to 1,200 bricks a day, while humans are capable of laying

about 300 – 500 bricks a day.

SAM isn't cheap though, and costs one million dollars a unit.

SAM isn't alone as a robotic construction worker, with Japan right now working with

automated bulldozers that use drones to tell them what to knock down.

The world of the construction bot is not too far away.

2: Factory work Your iPhone may have been made by Chinese

electronics manufacturer, Foxconn, who reported last year it had laid-off 60,000 workers due

to automation.

It said jobs that involved repetitive tasks were the ones that went.

A video that went viral this year also came from China, which showed how little orange

parcel sorting robots had all but replaced humans in its postal sorting department.

300 of the machines work tirelessly for an 8-hour charge around a 21,000 square foot

warehouse.

In one hour, they sort 20,000 parcels together, and have helped the company, STO Express,

cut down on 70 percent of its manpower.

In an interview, the Chinese creator of the bots said they do five hours of human work

in just three hours.

1.

All jobs From office to retail to finance to construction,

many more jobs are being automated right now.

Full automation of labor will take some time, with some of the world's leading minds on

automation at the Machine Intelligence Research Institute stating that there is a 50% chance

that all jobs will be done by robots in 120 years' time.

This is a far-out scenario, but who knows what we will come up with.

The next step would be to create Artificial General Intelligence, a virtual human that

could plan, reason, joke, even teach the nuances of history.

After that, there's Artificial Superintelligence, which would be far smarter than any human.

Some current A.I. experts believe that could be the end of days for us thinking flesh and

blood creatures.

So, what do you think about automation?

Is it the very thing the world needs right now, or is it the beginning of the end?

10 Reasons to Own A Himalayan Salt Block & How To Use It - Duration: 7:41.

You've probably heard about some of the magical things a Himalayan salt LAMP can do

for you. But have you heard of the wonders of the Himalayan pink salt block? Or perhaps

the idea of cooking on a big brick of sunset-hued crystal is totally new to you. Either way,

you're in the right place.

The Himalayan pink salt block is catching on and for good reason. Not only do these

colorful prehistoric crystals make healthier, tastier and more interesting meals, they're

also just darn pretty to look at! Not enough, you say? Here are our top 10 reasons that

the Himalayan pink salt block is a must-have natural health tool that everyone needs in

their kitchen.

1. Adds Healthy Minerals To Food Cooking on a pink salt block naturally imparts

the incredible health benefits of Himalayan pink salt into your food. Such health benefits

include balancing your body's pH, stabilizing hydration levels, improving digestion and

reducing acid reflux. Of course, the amount of salt that is absorbed depends on a number

of factors – moisture level, thickness and oil content of the food being prepared, as

well as the temperature of the block being a few of the major determinants.

2. More Complex Taste Than Table Salt In addition to NaCl (plain old table salt)

Himalayan pink salt contains over 80 trace minerals and other elements. Not only does

this make HPS better for your health, it also has a much more complex flavor. Meals prepared

on a Himalayan salt block will take on some of that complexity, turning familiar foods

into a new and interesting experience.

3. A Hint of Salt, Not A Lot Himalayan pink salt crystals have very low

porosity and minimal moisture retention. Because of these two traits, HPS won't immediately

upon contact transform food into an unbearable salty mess. Instead, your pink salt block

will impart just a hint of its very interesting salt flavor into your food.

4. Naturally Anti-Microbial Surface Unlike other food-preparation and cooking

surfaces, you'll never have to worry about germs on a Himalayan pink salt block. This

is also due to the low porosity and moisture retention of the salt which creates a naturally

anti-microbial environment. (See the Use & Care section below for some quick cleaning tips.)

5. Extreme Temperature Resistance In order to prevent cracking of the surface,

salt blocks must be heated slowly (no more than 200 ºF per 15 minutes.) That said, Himalayan

pink salt also has extreme temperature resistance with a melting point of just over 800 C (a

little under 1500 ºF) making it excellent for high-heat cooking! Just be sure to have

a good solid salt block holder for safe carrying of your super-hot HPS block.

6. Superior Heat Distribution Due to the crystalline structure of Himalayan

pink salt, heat spreads evenly through the entire block instead of radiating out from

the middle and cooling toward the edges. Food prepared on the block will cook at the same

pace whether it be in exact center, in a corner or anywhere in between.

7. Holds Temperature Longer Also because of its crystalline structure,

Himalayan pink salt blocks hold their temperature – whether it be hot or cold – longer than

other cooking and serving surfaces. This means you won't have to worry about food prepared

on your salt block getting cold or too warm while you finish up any accompanying dishes.

8. Use Heated or Chilled While most of us probably got our salt blocks

with the idea to cook food on them, some of the most interesting dishes you will prepare

(and serve!) on your block are those best served cold.

If you're anything like me and you love sashimi, the pink salt block will be your

new best friend. Imagine serving sake, hamachi and maguro arranged artfully on a chilled

pink salt block. Your friends will be talking about it for months!

9. Food Cures Through Contact Raw foods like sashimi will actually begin

to cure the longer they rest on the salt block. This is fascinating to watch for both children

and adults!

10. Blocks Double As Serving Platters These blocks are so beautiful and intriguing

that it is almost impossible to not use them as serving platters. Mark Bitterman – American

food writer and owner of The Meadow – captured this idea perfectly when he said, "There

is a tactility and an immediacy to having this giant white hot block of 600-million-year-old

salt on a table that turns us all into apes. It's just this gorgeous, luminous thing."

How To Use & Care For Your Himalayan Salt Block

Designate a 'Top' and 'Bottom' Always cook food on the same side of the block.

This will prolong the life of the slab by deterring cracking and slowing the expansion

of existing fissures in the salt.

Heat It Slowly Himalayan pink salt should be heated at a

rate of no more than 200 degrees of temperature increase per 15 minutes. HPS a natural product

with flaws and fault lines. If you heat your block too quickly, you may instead find yourself

in possession of a whole lot of very expensive pink salt for your grinder!

Safety, Safety, Safety! Himalayan salt blocks can get very hot and

stay that way for a long time. Protect your hands and your kitchen surfaces by investing

in a sturdy rack upon which to carry your HPS block. You may also want to get a pair

of high-heat resistant gloves. A super-heated salt block can and will burn your fingers

right through most cooking mitts. Instead, I highly recommend leather welding gloves.

While this may sound odd, they work extremely well not only with salt blocks, but also for

safely handling heavy cast iron cookware.

Don't Oil The Block If you must use oil, brush it lightly on your

food. Oil applied directly to the block will work its way into the cracks. At best, the

oil will go rancid and you will have to throw away your salt block. At worst, it will catch

fire and make a pretty spectacle in your kitchen or grill area.

Never Ever Wash It Ok, so a little bit of washing will be necessary.

However, this is the one area where you need to be most careful. Use a damp sponge, scrub

the surface lightly and pat the surface dry immediately. Remember, salt and water are

very good friends. Given the chance, Mr Water will sweep Ms Salt right out of your arms

and away down the drain.

Also, no soap. Ever.

Use It Frequently Just like any other tool in your good-health

arsenal, the more you use your HPS block, the better you will get at it. Once you get

the knack of it, you may find yourself becoming more creative in the kitchen in general. After

all, you are preparing food on a prehistoric rock. Cooking just doesn't get any more

incredible than that!

Let's Build in Minecraft - All of these things.. - E7 - Duration: 8:17.

Welcome to episode seven. My name is DopeyPear -- and I want to give a quick

thank you right here, to twenty subscribers! I'm thrilled, honestly. I know

it's a small number, but I'm glad to have you guys here. And I know only a couple

of those are really kind of regular views, and if you are a regular view I'm ...

a regular viewER, I really appreciate it, and I'm glad that you're here. I hope

you're enjoying it. I did a time-lapse of what I've been doing in this area. Well,

what I've been doing in the world, and of the work that I've done on the terrain.

If you haven't seen that yet you might want to check it out, because we are

going to go over some of the finer ... I mean we are going to talk about it just a

little bit, and get into some other stuff today. So yeah if you haven't seen that

yet, go check it out. It's neat. I'm really proud of it. But enough of that. Let's get

into what we have got for an episode today. So I've been thinking that I want

to change up the presentation of this series Let me give you a brief

explanation of what I mean by that. Every 9 episodes leading up to episode 10,

instead of having kind of the standard detailed, commentated, let's build video,

I'm going to do more of a highlight reel of everything that I've gotten done

since the last video. And then every 10 episodes -- so that's the upcoming episode

10 -- I will do a longer video, getting into more detail, and more commentary, and just

trying to get more personal with everything that I've gotten done. The

reason is for that is because I think it'll be more pres- eh - more presentable.

It's also a lot easier in my current situation for me to record this kind of

video. And the tenth episodes will take a couple more days to get out, but I

think the wait will be worth it. Also leading into this, any feedback on this

new kind of format would be much appreciated. And the time-lapse series

will be separate, but it will be a part of this world. Like everything that's

happening within these two series on my channel is all part of the same world.

So again, if you haven't seen yet definitely check it out. Right, so let's

get into the episode today. A bit has happened at the mushroom hut, I just did

not ... I was not happy with the messiness of the area below it, so I clean that up

a bit. Added furnace room which leads up to the cove. I added a overflow

storage area, which I'm filling up a shulker boxes. Down through this

trapdoor there is a farm area. It's easily expandable, so it's working out

for me pretty good. And down the hallway we've

got our enchanting station. Up the stairs here also, it's another entrance into the cove.

Everything's so interconnected, you know? I love it. And past that if we come

outside, I've been laying down the groundwork for the mushroom mountain. Quick

little note on that: I'm actually ... I've actually figured out that I have to

level about half of the mountain -- yeah! It's going to be great though. The NPC

housing is in progress, but I'm not going to really get into that until after I

get that mountain leveled, and just the base of that mushroom area started. You can

kind of see the tendrils, and all the different rooms and areas and stuff that

are going to be leading off of it though. As well, I've been working on a concept for the

waterfront. It's a reef, and it's something that I've been thinking about -- trying to

bounce the idea around in my head -- but I couldn't wrap my mind around how it was

gonna work out. I wanted to incorporate terracotta somehow into this build, and

because of that it's also very variable. You can use any kind of color scheme,

and just vary all the little details and the thickness of the vegetation, all of that.

And a lot of thanks to this server that I did a little walk through a few days ago. It

gave me the vague idea for using the terraotta as kind of coral block, and I

think that's really cool. It definitely takes a while to build up the things,

this reef, underwater especially, but you might see more of that in the next

episode. I also tried my hand at some redstone. I made a reed farm cactus ... [laugh]

I made a reed farm powered by a cactus farm. It's a concept that I found on

Reddit. It's very useful, very simple, and it works pretty well. Mine is very small,

and so as a result it's not super effective, but it does the job just fine.

And at spawn in the spawn chunks I'm also working on a mob farm. The basic

design is from mumbojumbo, it's his video with the super efficient

mob farm. I will actually link that in the description.

Mine is slightly tweaked. I'm laying out the levels a little bit

differently, just for the aesthetic, because I have more plans for this area

up here. It's jus- it's not just going to be a floating block of ugly. Other than that

it's a really tiring project and I, and I gotta say, I'm not a huge fan of

working with redstone. It is fun though! Oh, and I also murdered hundreds of-

No, I didn't murder. It was in self-defense! I *defended* myself from hundreds of zombie

pigman. I got a lot of gold, and that's cool. It's a great way to recharge my unbreaking III,

mending shears. So here in the library area, aside from all that silly work on

the terrain that we did, I added this tower.

It's an enchanting tower. It's kind of impractical because you gotta actually

fly up to it, but it does the job. I think it looks cool. I added these monuments,

which are kind of placeholders for a lot of finer detailing that I'm going to do.

That I'm going to do later. And as well, these monuments are the same. Sort of

just placeholders, but they hold the general shape of the actual build. Let me

know what you guys think of the outside. It took a silly amount of time. Oh, man ... all the --

note for future self: You gotta like, grind out like all the resources that

you think you'll need, and then some. I grinded out a ton of leaves, and a ton

of logs, and I ran out like three times. I thought I had more than enough, but no! You

need so many leaves for custom trees, and logs too. It's crazy.

Which I guess it makes sense now that I think about it a little bit more, and

that I've experienced it, but anyways. Let's take a look at the cavern area.

That one big one beneath the mushy part of the island. I still have yet to do much

more work on it, so I'll just give you the general idea of what it looks like

down here ... And the general idea is that is absolutely *hideous*. [laugh]

But do check out the entrance! Like this is just the basic kind of look for the

entrance that I'm going for, and I think it's really cool looking. And past that

that's about all we've got for this episode. Future plans include the area

beneath the library, the library interior -- which you will actually get a shneak -- [laugh] --

which you'll actually get a sneak peek of now. I think it's turning out well. The

color scheme will vary just a bit from floor to floor, and this lower area

beneath the balcony, that is going be the main library floor. I think it's

going to turn out very cool. I got some ideas for it, and I will actually timelapse that.

I've been wanting to experiment with interior timelapsing, and timelapsing

in cramped spaces. And in the spirit of Minecraft's namesake, I think we

ought to do some underground timelapsing. More on that in the timelapsing series itself though.

And that about wraps it up. Thank you guys so much for watching. If

you want to get into the library as a comment, make sure to drop a comment.

In the description below there's also some short details on exactly how to do that.

So if you're at all confused just check that out, but it's really simple. You just

drop a comment, mention that you want to be in the library, and you'll get your

comment, your username, all that in this library build that I've got in my world.

And again, thank you guys so much for watching. I -- also thank you for 20

subscribers. It's may be a small number, but I'm still thrilled about it, so thank you

so much. I hope you guys are enjoying this content that I'm producing, and

feedback on this new format of the video would be appreciated -- and all that said,

I hope you all have a good night, day, whatever it is, and I'll catch you in the

next episode. Have a good one.
