Waching daily Jun 28 2017

Most people do need success on the material side and also on the spiritual side.

And they go together.

They are not opposites.

God and money are not opposites, God and money are not opposites.

If you are a godly man, then you can, you should and must do better.

Then only are you eligible to be called as a God Man.

Like the Buddha.

The Buddha made a choice to remain poor because he was a King, the Prince, the only her to

the throne.

But he made a choice to be a monk and poor and begging, -- not out of choice -- yes,

out of Choice, not out of necessity.

So the Program is going to be to awaken this Consciousness.

And of course there is this [Guru Purnima] Shreem Brzee Session where I will give you

more information and in-depth practice in Shreem Brzee, and what it is.

If you don't have money, the number one reason is -- you don't want money.

You may say: 'No, no, no, no.

Who in the world would not want money?'

All the people who don't, they don't want it.

. They don't want money.

Superficially they may say, 'I want a Rolls Royce.

I want a Jaguar.

I want a mansion.'

But do they believe in it?

What do they believe?

They believe in the reality that they are going through on a daily basis.

Number Two, they are very superficial.

Even when they say, 'I want a Rolls Royce,' it is superficial, because they have not even

gone and looked into the price of a Rolls Royce.

They have not gone deep into the issue.

Why?

The brain has not been trained.

So, I will give you some training on that too.

How the mind can be trained so that it plunges into the depths, and

then finds the answer or the solution of how things can be done differently.

So, I am very hopeful that this [Guru Purnima] session will be a destiny changing one.

And the days that you are going to stay with me, I will make sure that you will get the

experience to be able to change your life for the future. So this in a nutshell is what

I'm going to be teaching.

And the most important thing is not my verbal teaching.

You are there and I am also there.

I will do things while you are in meditation to get into your body, mind and soul, and

change your Destiny.

When you will be meditating, I knew, I will be entering into your consciousness, into

your astral Body, and into your Causal Body as well. God Bless.

Country Music's Biggest Stars Got Famous Thanks to Him - Duration: 3:37.

Ryan Hurd: People ask me all the time, "What's wrong with country music?

How would you fix it?"

And I say, "There's nothing wrong.

It's absolutely fine."

(singing) I'm from Kalamazoo, Michigan.

I was born in Chicago, Illinois, and I moved there when I was a kid.

My generation is the generation that grew up without genres for the first time.

We listened to everything, so because we had Napster and LimeWire, and we'd steal all this

music.

So my mom always encouraged me to write, and it was before music.

She just loved reading what I would write in school and encouraged me to do a lot of

creative writing stuff, and send me to creative writing camp.

I've actually never talked about this I don't think in an interview.

I'm sort of just remembering it, and she would push me really hard to just express myself

that way.

My mom made us take piano lessons, and I stuck with it until I was about 14, and then I looked

around.

They made us do piano recitals, and I looked around and I was 14 or 15 years old, and everybody

else at my recital was like nine, and so I realized this was probably not something that

I needed to continue doing.

But then you know like pick up a guitar and a chord book, and that's basically all I did

with that.

I love playing the drums.

I used to play the drums a lot, and that's kind of what informed me to songwriting I

think is being able to have different timbres and textures that you can be inspired by.

(singing) I always wanted to be in Nashville.

That's the reason I moved down there was just to be in Nashville, go to college.

I just wanted to go do school, and I found something that I really enjoyed and that was

this sociology program, and I was going to go to graduate school, and I was going to

go do urban planning, and I just didn't know what it was.

I called some planners, and I was like this is not what I need to be doing at all, and

so then I started writing country songs with my friends who were already doing it, and

that was the way that we got our foot in the door.

In 2012, I signed with Universal.

(singing) The hardest part about being a songwriter

and a staff songwriter in Nashville, Tennessee, for me at least, and a lot of people are really

comfortable with this, but it's not having control over what songs people hear from you,

right?

So you write, like there was the year I wrote over 200 songs, and you throw them all up

against the wall, and you sort of see what sticks and what doesn't, and there's some

great songs that you really love and you fall in love with, and either for whatever reason

nobody else does.

And that was really, really hard for me, and it really inspired me to go make my own record,

because I always thought I'd be a songwriter in Nashville, Tennessee and that's it forever,

but it's cool to get to be the one that says, "I want someone to hear this song, and so

I'm going to record it, and whatever happens happens, but this is the one that I love,

and this is what I want people to hear."

I got a record deal in 2016, which is something I, whether or not it takes off, you can never

take that away from me, right?

The fact that I signed a record deal with RCA Records.

That's like a, that's like every kid's dream, right?

It's like I get to do what my 11 year old self had always wanted to do.

DAC Interpreting — DDDBDHH Open House - Duration: 1:32.

Hello, I'm Eric Patterson!

I manage DAC interpreting.

I want to share information on an event we're setting up soon.

Have you noticed discussions and comments coming up in regards to interpreters?

We are curious to see what we can do in regards to that discussion,

and how we, DAC Interpreting, can better accommodate to you and your needs.

So we set up a community meeting for the DeafDisabled, DeafBlind, Deaf and Hard of Hearing community.

So you all may come and feel comfortable enough to share your experience and expectations for interpreters.

We hope to host this type of meeting more often.

This would allow an opportunity to discuss situations, what are the best approaches, and how to handle.

We saw the need for more community socializing so we are working to make sure we provide that for you.

Food and drinks will be provided at no cost (free!).

Want to come?! The address is

..and the time is...

See you there!

Exam and You! - Duration: 2:37.

Welcome to your examination.

Before we get started, allow me to walk you through a few things that you need to know

to make sure that your exam goes smoothly.

First, remember to bring these items to the examination room.

Your OneCard, pen and pencil, any aids your instructor has allowed and medically needed food.

Note that doors open 15 minutes before every exam.

Arrive 30 minutes early, just in case.

Once you're in, be sure to know where your seat is.

Your seat information is posted on D2L and available outside the venue on a bulletin board.

Seat numbers are taped to the front of the desks, number one being closer to the door

and higher numbers further away.

Don't forget your OneCard.

Be sure to show it at the door on your way in and keep it on your desk throughout the exam.

Be sure to take it with you on the way to the washroom.

Put your writing utensils, any aids allowed by your professor, a see-through water bottle

and your OneCard on the top corner of your desk.

Cellphones and watches go in your bag and sealed under your desk.

Coats go on the back of your chair.

Oversized items at the side.

If you're wearing a hat, please turn it backwards.

No hoods are allowed.

You may be asked to remove large brim hats and all hats are subject to inspection and discretion.

Don't bring giant hats.

At this point, you're ready to begin your examination.

Once the exams have been handed out and your invigilator says that you can start, your

exam has officially begun.

Let your invigilator know if you need any extra supplies, you have any questions or

if you have to go to the washroom.

When you're done, raise your hand.

Gather your things quietly and leave the room.

Put your coat on and deal with your bag after you've left.

Remember, you cannot leave the exam within the last 15 minutes.

You must stop writing when your invigilator says so.

Wait until your exam is collected before you're cleared for takeoff.

And that's it!

Best of luck on your exams!

Please note, you are responsible to know where your exams are so please check the exams schedule accordingly.

If you're unable to write an exam due to illness or emergency, notify your department as soon as possible.

5 reasons to learn the basics of a language before you travel - Duration: 4:31.

Hi there, it's Raffaele Terracciano

Imagine the scene: the holiday you've been waiting for a year has finally come, you land

at your destination airport, the customs officers stops you and tells you something... and you

panic!

"What does he want?

They want to arrest me?

I haven't done anything!"

Before it even started, your holiday has turned into a diplomatic incident...

Here come the secret services interpreters, and you discover that the officer actually

just told you "Welcome to our country and enjoy your holiday" ...

It doesn't have to be like that, and you know...

It's almost time for holidays, and many decide to travel abroad, to discover new places

and new cultures.

But discovering a new culture also means discovering a new language!

So why not spend a few minutes a day to learn the basics of the language spoken in the place

where you're going?

You don't have to learn the language in a week ... But I assure you that making a

little effort and learning even just 20 phrases can make all the difference in the world and

improve your holiday!

How?

Let's have a look!

1.

Locals treat you better

Talk to a waiter in your language, and you put him in an uncomfortable situation in which

he is to one that has to make an effort to understand what you want to drink or eat.

But talk to him in his language, and he will be more relaxed, and often honored by the

fact that you made an effort to speak his language.

And the same goes for shop owners: enter a shop, and try to speak in their own language,

and they will reply with a smile, or maybe even with a discount!

It also works with people in the streets: ask for directions in your language and you

often put people in an uncomfortable situation.

Ask in their language, and they will be eager to help you.

2.

You can have short but intense conversations

No matter how much English is spoken in the world, you will always find someone who doesn't

speak it.

Sitting in the streets of old Havana and chatting, in Spanish, with an old woman smoking a cigar,

is an experience that wouldn't have been possible knowing just English...

A few phrases and a friendly local can be the ingredients of a memorable conversation!

3.

You look around and you understand the shop and street signs

I remember my first time in Greece: every sign of every shop was unreadable...

Basically, all shops were the same shop to me.

After learning to read the alphabet and the first words, it was like magically cracking

a secret code!

And it was easier to follow the signs for the beach, to the city center, or read the

menu ...

4.

You get closer to the local culture, and you appreciate it better.

Traveling, and especially languages, food and the local way of life, are the best way

to learn about different cultures.

Learning key phrases of a language doesn't only bring you closer to the local culture,

but maybe when you get back home, you decide you want to keep on studying the language,

and every time you do, you will remember the wonderful time you had on that holiday...

5.

You can make yourself understood in emergency situations

I'm not just talking about thefts, accidents or lost documents, all situations in which

you will have to deal with police.

But even just being able to tell someone that you're allergic to something can literally

save your life!

Sometimes you can even tell if the driver is saying something bad about you or if someone

wants to scam you!

So my advice is: make a little effort and learn the basics of the language spoken in

the country you are about to visit.

Maybe you will order the wrong dish at the restaurant ... but what about the feeling

of satisfaction of doing so in another language?

Below you can find 20 phrases that you absolutely have to learn before you travel abroad!

I advise you learn even 50 or 100, or even better you can study the basics of the language

and then the phrasebooks that you can find in bookshops, and online.

For more information, subscribe to my newsletter and receive a free guide on how to start learning

a language for free: it includes a list of free courses and online phrasebooks.

Interactive Classroom Tool Review - Mark Anderson looks at Unio By Harness - Duration: 7:00.

Hi Mark Anderson @ICTEvangelist here. One of the challenges I know many teachers

face is using technology for learning in the classroom and how you can do that

effectively. Today I want to talk with you about Unio - and have a chat about

how I think that Unio can help with that. So here I am on the Unio homepage

and to log myself in all I need to do is just goes to login - and you could login

here as a teacher or a student but I'm gonna go in as a teacher. Click on

there enter your details and click login and just go straight through to your

teacher dashboard. Logging in as a student is a bit different to how we

do it as a teacher, but we do just go to login and click on students there we'll

need to enter the first name and then you need to enter a lesson ID, but I'll

come on to how we do that in a little while. So here you can see my teacher

dashboard and the various subjects that I've set up setting up as subjects - really

simple. We've got a plus in the top right hand corner name our subjects and then

click create subjects. Starting a lesson in Union is pretty simple all we have to

do is go to the lesson that we've created and go on to start lesson. Once

the lesson has loaded we will be prompted to ask our students to go to uniostudent.com

and enter with the join codes you can see in front. So if I just jump

across quickly - very easy for students to do this enter their names - we'll

pop in my name here, or enter the lesson ID which again is 3069 - and once we're

in there we just tick the box and go to join lesson and

straightaway we'll see the content that I've been displaying on my slides that I've

created using Unio. Now what's really nice about this, is that students can now

start to draw lines and annotate and do things on the screen really very simply.

To see that as teacher - you can see that I'm in there already because of the

students tab at the top - I can already see the collaboration is taking place on

the top there. As more and more students join your class you'll be able to see

their annotations too - in addition to what you can see there you can go on to

their annotations and you can take control of their screens and you can

put things on there to leave them feedback, either by pointing at it drawing

around it, writing about it, circling it or squaring it - if you make a mistake you

can always rub it out. When you're done simply release control back to the

students and go back like so - and this will then show both your annotations and

the students annotations on your screen. Now that I'm back in the teacher view,

by clicking where it says teacher here at the top, I can see there are slides

that I've made using Unio. Now, as I go through these various slides, what's

really great is that as I move from one slide to the next like so - those

different slides appear on the screens of the students in your class.

I just go to my student screen we can see that that screen is displayed there

and again I can annotate on those and so forth and so on. A nice feature of Unio

is that if I get stuck as a student I can simply go down to 'ask a question'

and I can ask a question send that question to my teacher and as

teacher I now get to see the difference questions students give me. I'm

notified by that in my teacher view by the little one we can see here. Jump

into here - we'll see my question appears here. I can deal with that by having a

quick conversation. I can clear it when that question is done like so. So back into

my teacher view - these images here were not made using Unio, but I was able to

upload those using the add images feature - we can put in other things like

web images and we can add YouTube videos such as the video that we can

see down here. So jumping back into the presentation, I want to talk about how

Unio really can inform and help teaching and learning without being

gimmicky in the classroom. So we know as teachers the good teaching and learning

happens when we marry our pedagogical knowledge and our content knowledge

together. You've had training at university around pedagogical

knowledge and content knowledge but where do we actually get some

technological knowledge from? Well one of the big issues we have is training so

please do sign up for the free webinars and the

free training from you Unio. A great way of thinking about teaching

and learning with technology is through the SAMR model - the SAMR model was

developed by Ruben Puentedura and asks us to do things with technology that

wouldn't be possible if it wasn't for the technology. Unio really does help

with that. The features of the app, the collaboration, the real-time assessment -

and we'll get to look at that in a moment - the things you can do in Unio

can massively help teaching and learning in the classroom.

Starting a quiz in Unio is very easy - I simply go to where it says quiz and click

start quiz and the students receive questions on their screen. Now I can

click onto quiz results and I can answer those questions (so if I just do that

here and what have you) you can see responses come through there from Kate.

I jump from onto the other screen - I can make my choices here and you can see

how the students can respond to the different questions that are available

to them I jump back onto the teacher view I can quickly and easily see that

everyone's doing really really well - although I'll want to have a chat with

Kate about what SAMR actually aims to do. Going back to the learning outcomes

for the session. So that's about it really

I really like you Unio By Harness and if you're looking for a tool that can

inform your teaching and your students learning in the classroom then this

really is a tool that can help you - and I really like the quizzing we've just

looked at that. I'll just end the quiz here for a second and jump onto this

slide here - there are lots of ways in which you can use Unio in the

classroom - I really like the real-time collaboration between teacher and

student using the annotations - you can use it in many ways - rather than asking

students to look at slides on the screen in the classroom you can share them very

easily. Students can annotate them for themselves.

You can test where students are at in their knowledge. It really is

using technology to do things that wouldn't be so easily possible if it wasn't

for the technology. Definitely a tool that teachers will love in the classroom

and something that I really think that school leaders will love as well.

7 Bad Habits That Cause Belly Fat ! - Duration: 2:09.

Visit Our Website Here : http://bit.ly/2q90Dxh

7 Bad Habits That Cause Belly Fat !

No matter how hard you try, your belly fat is still here?

Maybe it is because you practice these 7 bad habits.

To get rid of it, you just need to do the opposite of what you read below.

1.

You Often Drink Soft Drinks Just 1-2 glasses of soft drink daily accelerates

the creation of belly fat for 5 times, compared to those who drink fresh juices.

The forbidden category also includes "diet" soft drinks.

2.

Eating From A Large Dish Always carefully choose the plate you eat

from.

Eating from a large dish gives you the feeling that you have eaten less, compared to a small,

but packed dish.

3.

You Eat Late At Night Even though it is true that the body burns

calories while sleeping, it will not be efficient enough if you go to bed right after your meal.

This can cause indigestion, meaning deposition of unburned fat.

4.

You Eat When You Are Sad, Angry Or Upset Next time you try to calm yourself with food,

remember that actually you are not hungry, but upset.

Instead of a quick meal, drink a glass of juice or water, talk to your friends and or

out.

7-bad-habits-cause-belly-fat 5.

You Often Eat Low-Fat Food Some people live with the believe that full-fat

foods are responsible for the fat deposition.

The truth is different.

Olive oil and avocado are actually amazingly efficient if your goal is to get rid of belly

fat.

Low-fat products are usually packed with sugar, so take them off your menu immediately.

6.

Insufficient Sleep Adult and physically active people should

sleep 7-9 hours every night.

Insufficient sleep increases cortisol levels and thus the need for junk food to comfort

you.

7.

Insufficient Protein Intake Adults should include 20-25 g of protein in

each meal, but this still depends on your physical activity and weight.

By increasing the protein intake you can balance the blood sugar level and reduce the insulin

levels, which boosts your metabolism.

Elbow Pain Relief, Featuring Nick from NoWayAsWay - Ask Doctor Jo - Duration: 10:29.

Hey everybody it's Doctor Jo. I'm just chillin out by the fireplace on a lazy

rainy day. <doorbell ring> Who's that at the door? Hey, Nick, come on in. Come sit in my fancy chair.

I met Nick at NextUp YouTube class of 2017 How you doing? I'm doing pretty good. How are you Doctor Jo?

I'm doing great. Tell us a little bit about your channel.

Alright so my channel, we throw cards. So what that means, give cards a little

flick, throw them around. And the issue that I run in to, is my subscribers and I,

we run it to elbow pain. Ah yeah. All that throwing. I could see that that

would be a very repetitive painful thing. You know what? I think I've got some

stretches and exercise for that. Yeah? Let's check them out right here.

Whoa! It came all the way through. So with Nick's

repetitive movements of throwing those cards, he gets a lot of pain in the elbow

area. And sometimes it's called tennis elbow, sometimes called iPad elbow, and so

now we can call it cards elbow. But a great way to work these muscles, these

muscles start at the elbow, but they come all the way down to the wrist and they

actually do a lot of movement at the wrist, so those flicking motions that he

does probably causes a lot of that to. So we're just going to stretch out these

muscles all the way through. A good way to start is to get those flexors and

extensors by putting your arm straight out if you put your fist, if you put your

hands in and make a fist, and come up, you'll get a little bit of a stretch

under here. If you want more of a stretch put your fingers up into a stop sign

position, and then you can put a little bit of pressure over it this way. You

should really feel that one underneath. because you want to stretch both sides.

So you're going to hold this stretch for about 30 seconds, and then do three of

those. But you can alternate back and forth to get those extensors by coming

down this way. This is the opposite, if your fingers are open it's not quite as

much of a stretch, but if you make a fist you're going to get a lot bigger stretch

there, and then you can put a little bit of pressure over that way. So I like to

alternate back and forth through my 30 seconds and then

a total of three on each side. So coming up, doing that stretch, but really hold it

for that 30 seconds if you can, and then coming down and holding that stretch.

Once you get those wrist flexors and extensors stretched out a little bit, you

can stretch your supination and pronation, and the way I like to do that

is grab a hammer or something that's a little top-heavy because that helps you

get a little bit of an overpressure stretch. Keep your elbow bent by your

side because if you do it straight out you're going, to you're going to rotate

your whole shoulder, and we really want to get down here at the elbow and the

wrist. So bend that elbow, keep it by your side, and then hold the hammer and just

go down this way which is in the supination. Hold it for about three to

five seconds, and then come back the other way into pronation. And so the

little bit of the weight on the hammer pulls it just a little bit more to give

you that stretch going back and forth. So it's a nice little stretch it's also a

nice little exercise as well. I would just start off with about ten of these

on each side, and you can go smoothly or just holding it a little bit. So after

you get those stretched out a little bit, you can go into doing some band work to

help strengthen the area. There different color bands are the different hardness

of resistance, usually the yellow one is the lightest and the red is the next

lightest, so you might want to start off with the lightest, but just getting some

resistance in there to start building up those muscles a little bit. And a lot of

times people ask, well it's sore, do I want to do that, but with resistive bands, it

works really well to kind of help get that irritation out of there as long as

you're not overdoing it. If you want to place your hand on a table or something,

you can, or you can kind of hold your elbow here, or if you feel good enough,

you can just kind of hold it up into this position. We're going to start off

with our palm down, and you just want to do the movement at the wrist, but that's

really going to work those elbow muscles up there as well, so

pulling up this way, and then come all the way down. So you want to come all the

way through the movement, you don't want to stop here, you want to come all the

way down, and then pull up and then nice and slow back down. So again just

starting off with about ten of these, you don't want to overdo it and irritate it

even more, but you definitely want to work it out and try and get that

inflammation out of there. After you do ten that way, turn it over. A lot of

times I like to kind of get the band in the middle area and then just go the

opposite way. So now you're going to curl up and then slowly come back down.

So same thing, just nice slow controlled do about ten of those, but make sure

when you come up, you're not just letting it plop back down. Control that

band because you don't want to injure anything more, and then this coming down

is equally as important, so make sure that smooth control motion. Then next

you're going to come up into this position where your thumb is up, and then

you're going to go what's called the radial deviation, which is pulling up

this way, and then coming back down. So again still doing that full movement all

the way down, all the way up, and making sure that you're working the band, don't

let the band work you. And then the last one with the band, it's going to be an

ulnar deviation, and the way I like to do that is just hold it in both hands here

with your thumb pointing towards each other, and then you're just going to take

it and go out this way. So again, controlling the band, nice smooth motion,

going all the way out, coming all the way in, and then just doing about ten of

those, and really just with 10 of each you'll you'll be able to feel that

you're working those muscles. So after you work those you can take something

like a towel, you can take a ball, you can even just take a little small foam roll,

and do some squeezes. So now you're just going to kind of squeeze in, hold it for

about three to five seconds, and then come

out. So if you don't have anything like a roll you can just roll up a towel if you

want to, but if you have something like a tennis ball or Nerf ball, that works

really well for kind of squeezing, holding it for a little bit, and then let

it go. And again you'll be able to feel that it's working all these muscles here.

And then so the last exercise is going to be with a band, and then we'll do some

nice massages and stuff at the end. So with the rubber band, take it, it doesn't

have to be fancy rubber band, it can just be any rubber band, and put it around

your fingers. And then with your fingers, you're just going to kind of open them

up this way, and then slowly come back in. So it's the same thing with the band,

when you come out don't just let them pop it back in, really control it coming

back in. So you're going to go out, and then nice and slow back in. I just do

maybe about ten of those as well. So after you get all those exercises, you're

probably feeling a little bit, you've worked those muscles, they feel nice and

warm, and then to make it feel good afterwards, you can do a massage on the

area. So just getting some cream or some lotion, but all these muscles at the

wrist and elbow kind of come up here, and they come up on this side too ,but

probably the the motion especially that Nick feels with that spin motion of the

card is here, so just getting some lotion to help make it easier to rub, but just

doing some circular motions around this area right here. Some people like to get

a massager you can do that because the vibration works really well too, but I

also think just giving it a nice massage on the on the muscles and the tendons

that come up and attach right here, is really nice as well.

And if you use lotion, it will be a little bit smoother, it's not as much

friction, but just to give you an idea making little kind of circle motions

right along that area in that elbow joint right in there. And then so after

you do this, you can do this for about 2 or 3 minutes, just to get it nice and

calmed back down, and then my favorite at the very end is an ice massage.

So just grab an ice cube, and then I'll show you that real quick. So all you need

is an ice cube. Sometimes if you want a little bit more,

you can take those little little cups and put some ice in it, and then once it

freezes you can tear the cup away, but I like just having an ice cube kind of

wrapped up in a paper towel. So what you want to do with an ice massage is really

only do about six minutes. Since it's direct ice on the skin, this is not a ten

to fifteen minute kind of thing, but just directly on there you're going to start

off really light, and you're just going to do some circles. And the reason you

want to go really light is because at first you're really going to feel it's

going to feel cold, and it's going to feel burney and stingy, but if you can

tolerate about a minute of that, then it'll kind of go numb, and once it goes

numb, then you're going to start putting a little more pressure on it and doing

the massage part. So really just getting around in that area, that that area that's

irritated, those tendons maybe like a tendinitis or the bursa

a bursitis, or even the tennis elbow which is epicondylitis, but just really

working that area. The more it gets numb, push harder, you really want to get that

massage in there, you want that irritation to get out of there,

but you really only want to do this for about six minutes. You don't want to do

it too much more than that, and so I won't go the whole six minutes,

but that is what you would do. Alright so there you have it. There you go, oh,

those are your stretching exercise for a little bit of elbow pain. Hey yeah, yeah

yeah, so don't forget to subscribe to Nick's channel. Don't forget to subscribe to
