Destiny Calling Who Are You Really

By Dylan Harper

You meet someone for the first time and one of the first questions you get asked is What

do you do? You automatically assume the person wants to know how you earn your living.

You may mumble something like Well, right now Im paying my rent by being an Uber

driver but Im working on a script that will be the next big hit at the Sundance Film

Festival! Or maybe you say Im a teacher, but Im burned out and exhausted. Or

a wistful, Id love to be an artist, but dont know if thats a real job.

So, you go to your weekly SoulCycle class, and you wonder when your real life will start.

Is it work or play that defines you? Do you feel like you have somehow missed what youre

really supposed to be doing? Is this your destiny?

The anxiety over what am I supposed to be doing? can really mess you up. When

that alarm goes off in the morning and you reluctantly get yourself together to go to

work, are you wondering if this is all there is to life? Get up, go to work, maybe go out

for a few drinks after work, then head home to DoorDash that you eat while binging on

Netflix. Where is the passion for life? And how are you going to find the joy in simply

being you?

You may have taken every quiz on Facebook that promises to reveal your most amazing

qualities.

You may pour over the employment opportunities that you signed up to see from LinkedIn. You

might be doing nothing, sunk into a depression over the state of your life and the state

of the world.

But what if you could answer the what do you do? question with the status of your

being rather than your doing? Like, I am someone on an evolutionary spiritual journey

and Im gradually becoming more present, more engaged, more myself.

Wow! Suddenly you are someone youd like to know. You are saying that you are a seeker

on the timeless quest for enlightenment, a traveler on the path to greater consciousness.

Your true workwhatever your job in the worldis really internal. You want to be

more aware of what you do, what you say, and even what you think. You want to be a moral

force in the world, starting with the world you currently interact withyour family,

your friends, your co-workers. You want to be known as a person of integrity, someone

who can be trusted, someone who can hold the center in times of crisis.

As you develop a meditation practice, as you attend online workshops and events that bring

you together with a teacher and a community of fellow seekers, as you read books on the

ageless wisdom of the sages, you are doing the most exciting work of all and preparing

for your true destiny: to be a light worker.

And the world desperately needs you! Especially in times like these that are fraught with

disharmony and division, your connection to spirit, your immersion in the peace and balance

brought about by spiritual practices, is vitally important.

As you proceed along the path, you may find that your work in the world will change. You

might want to be helping others more directly, for instance as a speaker, coach or leader,

like me. Or you may simply try to infuse your present work and home situation with more

awareness of what you can do that will be of benefit to others. For being a light worker

implies that you are committed to doing what you can to alleviate suffering and confusionwithin

yourself as well as for others. It implies that you accept responsibility for your own

life and stop laying the blame outside yourself. It means you understand that youyes, youhave

the power to change the direction the world is heading. And it means that you know how

to be kind.

There is one sure way to know that you are fulfilling your destiny: it feels right. The

outer work you do may shift or transform, but it is the inner work that propels your

satisfaction quotient. The next time someone asks What do you do? answer from the

place of who you are rather than how you earn a living. You could be a window washer at

a fast food restaurant, but what you are really doing is being a clear channel for letting

in more light. And that is destiny calling.

10 Early Symptoms of Dementia You should Know - Duration: 5:51.

10 Early Symptoms of Dementia

Dementia is a collection of symptoms that can occur due to a variety of possible diseases.

Dementia symptoms include impairments in thought, communication, and memory.

If you or your loved one is experiencing memory problems, don't immediately conclude that it's dementia.

A person needs to have at least two types of impairment that significantly interfere

with everyday life to receive a dementia diagnosis.

Subtle short term memory changes

Trouble with memory can be an early symptom of dementia.

The changes are often subtle and tend to involve short term memory.

An older person may be able to remember events that took place years ago but not what they

had for breakfast.

Other symptoms of changes in short-term memory include forgetting where they left an item,

struggling to remember why they entered a particular room, or forgetting what they were

supposed to do on any given day.

Difficulty finding the right words

Another early symptom of dementia is struggling to communicate thoughts.

A person with dementia may have difficulty explaining something or finding the right

words to express themselves.

Having a conversation with a person who has dementia can be difficult, and it may take

longer than usual to conclude.

Changes in mood

A change in mood is also common with dementia.

If you have dementia, it isn't always easy to recognize this in yourself, but you may

notice this change in someone else.

Depression, for instance, is typical of early dementia.

Along with mood changes, you might also see a shift in personality.

One typical type of personality change seen with dementia is a shift from being shy to outgoing.

This is because the condition often affects judgment.

Apathy

Apathy, or listlessness, commonly occurs in early dementia.

A person with symptoms could lose interest in hobbies or activities.

They may not want to go out anymore or do anything fun.

They may lose interest in spending time with friends and family, and they may seem emotionally flat.

Difficulty completing normal tasks

A subtle shift in the ability to complete normal tasks may indicate that someone has

early dementia.

This usually starts with difficulty doing more complex tasks like balancing a checkbook

or playing games that have a lot of rules.

Along with the struggle to complete familiar tasks, they may struggle to learn how to do

new things or follow new routines.

Confusion

Someone in the early stages of dementia may often become confused.

When memory, thinking, or judgment lapses, confusion may arise as they can no longer

remember faces, find the right words, or interact with people normally.

Confusion can occur for a number of reasons and apply to different situations.

For example, they may misplace their car keys, forget what comes next in the day, or have

difficulty remembering someone they've met before.

Difficulty following storylines

Difficulty following storylines may occur due to early dementia.

This is a classic early symptom.

Just as finding and using the right words becomes difficult, people with dementia sometimes

forget the meanings of words they hear or struggle to follow along with conversations

or TV programs.

A failing sense of direction

The sense of direction and spatial orientation commonly starts to deteriorate with the onset

of dementia.

This can mean not recognizing once-familiar landmarks and forgetting regularly used directions.

It also becomes more difficult to follow a series of directions and step-by-step instructions.

Being repetitive

Repetition is common in dementia because of memory loss and general behavioral changes.

The person may repeat daily tasks, such as shaving, or they may collect items obsessively.

They also may repeat the same questions in a conversation after they've been answered.

Struggling to adapt to change

For someone in the early stages of dementia, the experience can cause fear.

Suddenly, they can't remember people they know or follow what others are saying.

They can't remember why they went to the store, and they get lost on the way home.

Because of this, they might crave routine and be afraid to try new experiences.

Difficulty adapting to change is also a typical symptom of early dementia.

Beachbody UK - It's official! Launching this Autumn 2017. - Duration: 5:23.

Hey! Have you you heard? No I didn't. What? Beachbody is going to the UK. It's

official Team Beachbody is going into United Kingdom. In 2017 Beachbody Team

Beachbody is going into the UK this Autumn. Exactly what time that is

we're not sure what that is but around October November time frame. Wo we are

absolutely thrilled and excited and we know you are absolutely thrilled and

excited! Yeah if you're watching this video then you're looking for

information on Beachbody in the UK and we are here to present you just a little

bit of what's going on and what we're doing with our people that we've

connected with in the United Kingdom. We're just super excited.

We have 500 people, almost almost 500 people and we have been training them

already. We have leaders being established. It's fabulous! And I'm so

excited. Yeah we are actually launching,

finally! So I want to give you guys a little rundown about our team, right?

That's right. A little bit about us. Christine tell them a little about us and our team.

So I am Christine Plaskett this is my husband Greg Plaskett and we are the

founders of Team Eternal Fit. We started with our journey with Beachbody 6

years ago. We have built an amazing business. It's been an incredible journey

and incredible opportunity for us. Not only has it changed our own health and

fitness but it actually changed us emotionally and financially and so we're

really excited to share our story with you and get to know you and share more

about our journey and how we built our business. Yeah, so I wanted to give you

just a couple things and I'll make this real short about our team. We are a 4 x

Elite team. Now you might not know what that means and that's okay. Basically we

just we finished at the top point .01% in the network out of 400,000 people. So

we were 100 or 200 or so four years in a row. I'm

a Beachbody Challenge winner. I won $500 with a p90x transformation. We've been in

various test groups for Piyo, Cize, Shift Shop and I think that was the three

right? Yes. We are both full time coaches, we do this full

time. I have a background in corporate America 25 years experience through

project management, people management, web design. I have a pretty broad and extensive

background and what I get really passionate about is not just helping

people get healthy and fit but teaching them how to build a business. So I love

mentoring other women especially, men to of course. I will partner with

couples men who want to build a business, women who want to build a business. I really

get excited about helping women really fulfill their dreams and what it means

to take control of your life and being able to have a job where you can work from

home and do something you love and be there for your family each and every

day. So with us it's 1 sign up 2 mentors. You get me and you

get Christine and we're both here to help you build a large sustainable

business that you can eventually hand off to your children if you should have

children. We have customized training that I developed when I became a

full-time coach 2 years ago. I was a part-time for 4 years and then 2

years ago I became full-time so we have customized training, social media

training, we have support for blogging if you want to do blogging, we have

mastermind calls with leaders, we partner with other leaders across our team. So on

our team we all don't look the same and we are a group of like-minded

individuals that have three things in common: health, fitness and want to build

financial freedom. Our team is comprised of former lawyers, some doctors, health

practitioners you know like nurses, stay at home moms, stay-at-home dads,

teachers, professionals you corporate professionals, landscapers, all

kinds of people that literally want something more out of life and that's

what Team Beachbody is. It's just a real like-minded group of people coming

together and just moving in one direction helping end the trend of

obesity and now the world because we're going over, we're jumping the pond. That's

right! So if you are interested in learning more, please opt in, somewhere

down below maybe, there's going to be an opt-in where you can put a give us

your name and an email and we'll put you on our newsletter that we send out to

learn more about what's going on and you're also welcome to join our private

Facebook group where we're actually getting to know each other more and

sharing more. We're training, sharing more about our storym answering all your

questions as we get ready to the official launch, right? Great! So we'd love

to have you join us and see you in the group. Take care!
