5 Cycling Descending Mistakes To Avoid | GCN Pro Tips - Duration: 4:24.

- Getting it wrong going up hill is bad enough,

but make a mistake when descending

and it could have far more serious circumstances.

So here's what to avoid when the road goes down.

My first time.

(intense bass digital beats and music)

For the vast majority of the time

that you're plummeting down hill

you should be looking upwards and forwards

at the road ahead,

not down directly at the wheel in front of you

or the patch of road in front of your front wheel.

Because if you do this you won't see

what's coming up ahead, giving you little or no time

to take evasive action.

Looking down is the reason why many people

crash on descends as hazards or sharp bends

appear only at the last moment,

often forcing the rider to instinctively

grab the brakes too hard and lose control or worse.

(bright digital music and beats)

Effective, enjoyable and safe descending

is a combination of many different skills,

one of which is the ability to brake correctly.

Now one of those common mistakes on descends

is the rider to brake too harshly and too late,

often midway through a corner,

resulting quite often in the back wheel locking up

and a quite catastrophic loss of control.

Which quite often is as a direct result

of our previous mistake and that isn't looking up.

So pull on both brakes smoothly,

applying more pressure to your front brake

as this is your most effective,

as is the one that slows you down the fastest.

Whilst doing this push your weight backwards

over the bike to balance the feeling

of being thrown forwards.

Try never to grab your brakes in a panic.

(bright digital music and beats)

Hurtling down hill at 80 kilometres per hour plus

requires confidence, skill, concentration,

and above all a stable bike.

Taking your hands off the bars,

especially at very high speeds,

leaves you extremely vulnerable.

So you won't be in a position to brake

and take evasive action.

Now this is because things happen much faster

at higher speeds, yet you react in exactly

the same time you at slower speeds.

So it's so important, vital in fact,

that you give yourself that time to react.

And having one hand off the handlebars means

you won't be able to brake,

let alone steer your bike.

Which quite frankly, is a recipe for disaster.

(bright digital music and beats)

Don't ride too close to other riders on descents,

especially particularly technical or fast ones.

So drop off two or three lengths from the rider in front

and that will give you enough space and time

to manoeuvre safely and non-erratically

should you wish to do so.

It also makes sure you got a nice clear,

un-obscured view of the road up ahead.

Drop even further back from riders in front

in wet conditions to a distance of at least four

or even five or six bike lengths.

Sitting directly on someone's back wheel on a descent

is just asking for trouble, so don't do it.

(bright digital music and beats)

Most of our riding is of course done on open roads,

roads that we share with other traffic,

but it's very easy to get carried away

in the euphoria of traveling down hill at high speeds

and actually forget that we do share the roads.

So for that reason, never, ever cut blind corners.

The consequences simply don't bear thinking about.

So stick to your side of the road when going

into a blind bend.

Don't be tempted to take the racing line.

Following those bits of advice should ensure

that your descending is far more enjoyable,

but above all a lot safer.

Now if you haven't already subscribed

to the Global Cycling Network it's absolutely free.

you won't miss another video.

Russian Overkill 2.5 - The Warpocalypse has just begun u.u - Duration: 1:06:02.

Russian Overkill for the Ultimate Doom and Doom II Hell On Earth, is one of the most crazy and wicked mods you will ever play.

You character(s) are heavily overpowered with having access to the most sophisticated arsenal you can ever imagine.

There are also some elements you can recognize from the Command & Conquer Red Alert 2 and Command & Conquer Renegade.

This time I've finally found a control to summon the Warpocalypse to clear the area from hellspawn - just skip to 48:05

Black Warpocalypse is armed with miniguns and missile launchers, no hordes of forces of Hell can stop it.

There are also some more new toys I've found - but they make this game also easier.

As the drawback, the performance is also somewhat worse :D.

Under the 7th slot of weapons, there is a railgun Sniper Cannon known from Bulletstorm and the fast firing Railgun.

The Railgun Cannon has a much higher damage per single shot, but it's also way slower in firing but it can destroy multiple targets with one shot.

The fast firing Railgun weapon, perfect choice when room is full of weaker demons like Zombies or Imps, but can take also stronger foes quickly.

The weapon from 8th slot that fires big yellow orbs, do not use the alternate fire when you are close to the explosion, instant death is sure.

And I've figured also out that the Minigun from 4th slot that shoots jet fighters... they drop bombs too.

Exam and You! - Duration: 2:37.

Welcome to your examination.

Before we get started, allow me to walk you through a few things that you need to know

to make sure that your exam goes smoothly.

First, remember to bring these items to the examination room.

Your OneCard, pen and pencil, any aids your instructor has allowed and medically needed food.

Note that doors open 15 minutes before every exam.

Arrive 30 minutes early, just in case.

Once you're in, be sure to know where your seat is.

Your seat information is posted on D2L and available outside the venue on a bulletin board.

Seat numbers are taped to the front of the desks, number one being closer to the door

and higher numbers further away.

Don't forget your OneCard.

Be sure to show it at the door on your way in and keep it on your desk throughout the exam.

Be sure to take it with you on the way to the washroom.

Put your writing utensils, any aids allowed by your professor, a see-through water bottle

and your OneCard on the top corner of your desk.

Cellphones and watches go in your bag and sealed under your desk.

Coats go on the back of your chair.

Oversized items at the side.

If you're wearing a hat, please turn it backwards.

You may be asked to remove large brim hats and all hats are subject to inspection and discretion.

Don't bring giant hats.

At this point, you're ready to begin your examination.

Once the exams have been handed out and your invigilator says that you can start, your

exam has officially begun.

Let your invigilator know if you need any extra supplies, you have any questions or

if you have to go to the washroom.

When you're done, raise your hand.

Gather your things quietly and leave the room.

Put your coat on and deal with your bag after you've left.

Remember, you cannot leave the exam within the last 15 minutes.

You must stop writing when your invigilator says so.

Wait until your exam is collected before you're cleared for takeoff.

And that's it!

Best of luck on your exams!

Please note, you are responsible to know where your exams are so please check the exams schedule accordingly.

Morning Conversations with Jim Self and Roxane Burnett - Where do you Resist - Duration: 9:31.

Jim, one of the things I've been noticing lately through Facebook posts

and emails from the people in our Mastering Alchemy community is a level

of discomfort in their guts, in their stomachs. And they're saying consistently

that there's also a level of resistance. Sometimes they don't call it that but

there's a clear connection between resisting the current events and what

they're feeling in their stomach. And so I want to talk about resistance and the Third Chakra.

Let's do this, look, but let me set this up. Let me see if I put it in

perspective that makes sense. Now let me also say that this is an area where

we're going to start to play in Mastering Alchemy Light because in

Mastering Alchemy Light gives me much more room to kind of explain this in

different detail. But let's talk about three Chakras: First, Second, Third Chakra.

And let me say it in a way that you don't normally hear this. The First

Chakra most people consider is about the survival of the body. That's how we

learned it over the last twenty, thirty, forty years-- survival of the body. What

most people don't understand is: the ego lives in the First Chakra. And the ego is

wounded. Now the ego is an absolutely essential part of you it's not something

you cut away or throw away. It would be like cutting off your arm or your leg.

The ego is a huge part of you that's wounded. Simple terms. Also the rational

mind doesn't live up here, it lives in that First Chakra. And so the rational

mind is all about keeping you safe and having you fit in. And so you've got a

wounded ego, you've got a mindset that sits in survival, and a rational mind

whose job is to keep you safe and fit you in, in society. So when you put those

three things together you begin to get this apprehension or this "pay attention

to," or "what's around the next corner?" sense of off-balance to start with.

You know, to put in perspective the First Chakra was never

about survival it was about well-being. So if you can live in well-being, which

is kind of where all the work we play in goes, you get a very different result

than if you live in survival. So the First Chakra basically has this

apprehension, "Be aware- pay attention- I'm not sure" experience. Second Chakra is all

about creative expression. It's this space where you say, "Wouldn't it be great

if--?" But when the First Chakra/rational mind/ego is saying "Beware," all of a

sudden you get this apprehension in the creative expression. And so the creative

expression is defensive, off balance, uncertain. It's in the Third Chakra that

in well-being... when you have well-being in the first and this excited creative

expression in the second, the Third Chakra is all about the propulsion, the explosion--

Making it happen.

Making it happen. The, "Yes, this is exciting." But when you

have apprehension and creative expression in doubt/uncertainty, then you begin to have

a number of factors that play out in the Third Chakra. So if you ever have Third Chakra

solar plexus right where the ribs come together-- here in the soft part of

the stomach-- whenever you have an experience of that hurting, if you ask

yourself, "Am I in power or control, judgement or resistance?" Four words.

And, "Am I pushing against? Am I being pushed against? Am I resisting it? Am I judging

something? Am I trying to control something?" 100% answer: yes. One of those

four factors or variation of those four factors are what we are experiencing.

So the resistance people are feeling really comes back down into the uncertainty of.

"What am i doing?" and then drops into the First Chakra "Am I safe?" And so what is

really important in this time and why I point to Mastering

Alchemy Light-- just as an expression for people have a place to go-- is how do you

understand that and then how do you begin to move around in a way to where

you can recognize that, reconfigure it, step out of it, not be engaged with it

but simply recognizing: "I'm worried about--" And most of what people are worried

about today have absolutely nothing to do with them. So one of the biggest

issues that I'm watching is everybody on the planet is feeling The Shift. Now

we're five years into The Shift and it's beginning to accelerate. It's beginning

to take turns and twists and presenting opportunities that are contrary to the

status quo. And so you begin to see things starting to happen or you have a

sense of things happening that are different than "What I know." And there you

go again, right back into the, "Oh what's happening?" So the world itself is in a

state of apprehension. Minus the wars and the geopolitics and the finances, people are

in this Shift of Consciousness. And in this Shift there's, "I'm not sure what's

going on" when the first three chakras are structured based on survival.

Well, and just knowing that that resistance and that pain in the body isn't theirs

can be helpful to begin the process to release it. If I know that my gut that

this is just energy in my gut that doesn't belong to me and I can put the

word resistance to it or power/control/ judgment, perhaps that's the first step

for people to know I can not go there I can release it.

So what you're doing

is you're becoming conscious of being unconscious. Now that sounds like a weird

thing in a way but you basically move through life not really paying attention,

just on some level of automatic. It's in that level of automatic that

this apprehension or resistance or concern is. So let me even point in

another direction here in terms of all those fundamental tools we have on the

website in Mastering Alchemy. They're free. They're "Do this-- what happens?"

They're, they're basically a whole construct of how do you observe, how do you get into

present time, how do you discern between what's mine and what's not mine, how do I

get very grounded and understand what grounded is? It's these tools that are

going to allow the apprehension to be observed, then chosen as to what to take

an action with regard. So observation/ choose an action is very different than

unconscious of being unconscious which often has "Shoot, ready, aim." And then have

to back up and apologize and figure out how to get out of it. So this resistance

is very real but it doesn't have to be yours, and this is why we keep pointing

to things like the free tools in Mastering Alchemy. Understand-- I'm kind of

talking to everybody-- understand there is some very significant changes that are

right in front of you and they're beginning to become conscious and those

changes are going to be very surprising to the bulk of the planet. And they

aren't things that are not... You're very much capable of dealing with them but if

you wait until they're in your face that's going to be an awkward place. And

so to a great extent these morning conversations and the fundamental tools

and Mastering Alchemy Light and the whole program of how do you really learn

to manage yourself and step into a multiple consciousness, dimensional

consciousness that provides so much more than the limited "unconscious of being

unconscious" that we walk around in.

So that was a bigger piece than just resistance.

Okay

But I think that it's getting important. I keep feeling

this urgency to say to people: Pay attention, there's some very exciting

things happening and some of them are going to interrupt your status quo.

Yeah

So until next time.

How to Instantly Get your Head in the Game - Duration: 3:04.

- I'm talking to you today

about one of the most important keys to winning.

You see, I've had the fortunate experience

of having several experiences, you know,

I've been a personal trainer, I've been an actor,

a television film actor, I've been a sales person,

I've been a speaker on stage, I've been a coach,

you know, I've done so many different things,

it's allowed me to understand

how to quickly access your best abilities

to deliver on command

and so in this case, I'm referencing acting

and it plays into neuro-linguistic programming as well,

even though that's not how I learned the two.

When I was an actor, I was in this acting class

and our teacher said to us,

"Listen, when you guys get up on set sometimes,

"you're not gonna be able to be totally present

"in order to generate the emotion you need

"to deliver on camera."

You want an actor, who when they're really strong,

they're not trying to fake cry or fake fall in love,

but try to make the imaginary circumstances real

and when you have a good scene partner,

they really are able to drop in there and be totally present

and bring you genuine emotion in that scene,

even though it's an imaginary circumstance,

does that make sense?

But actors, like everybody else, have bad days.

What if you show up on set

and you simply cannot generate the anger you need,

or you simply can't generate the joy

or the happiness you need,

where you can't generate the love you need, what do you do?

You have a whole crew of people here watching,

going, "Come on, get this done.

"We wanna get the shot scene, what's happening here?"

How do you turn it on?

The key is to have a trigger,

a trigger for you, to tighten, to step into that emotion.

So a trigger could be you squeeze your wrist,

you think of a certain moment in your history

or a certain song, or a certain scent,

that brings love up for you, does that make sense?

I'm sure you've had this experience before,

where you're in the car, you're having a bad day,

you're kind of driving and all of a sudden,

your favorite song comes on, your energy's all fired up,

a trigger, fair enough?

Or you may have had this experience, like I have,

you had a bad drinking bender on some particular alcohol

years and years ago and never touched it for years,

and all of a sudden someone cracks open that bottle

and you smell it and it puts you right back

in that same horrific feeling of that moment,

does that make sense?

It's finding those triggers for you,

to trigger love, joy, happiness, anger, whatever it is,

in the case of winning, maybe it's you wanna be motivated

and driven and totally focused, like a killer,

to make it happen for yourself.

Is it a song for you?

Is it the way you stand for you?

Is it how you tap your shoulders?

When I was an athlete, it was simply snapping my fingers,

it put me there into, "Kick some ass",

does that make sense?

It's finding that trigger for you.

Find your triggers and you'll find a way to win.

I'll see you on the next one, take care.

I Love My Business - Where's the Money - Duration: 7:52.

Hello, Gorgeous. It's Denise here from LuckyBitch.com.

Today, we are talking about mixing love and money. It's frustrating when you

have built a business based on your passions, you love what you do, you put

your heart and soul into it but… crickets. Maybe you've been limping along for

months or years, not making much money and you're kind of considering

giving up and getting a job. Maybe you're even getting pressure from other people

in your life to quit your business altogether and go back to something

safe, like your day job. But, before you panic, there might be some really

practical reasons why this is happening and we're going to get really real on

what's going on and how you can fix it. You totally can have a business that you

love and make money at the same time. Let's do it.

I see this all of the time. Women who have found something that they absolutely

love to do, but just can't seem to make any money from it. When business

doesn't work, women tend to make up stories about why this is happening.

Usually that old story of, "Maybe I'm just not good enough," or, "Maybe I'm not

allowed to live my passions. Maybe I have to do something I hate to make money."

Trust me, most of these stories are complete crap and you need to deal with

the blocks that are behind them so that you can move on and start making money

doing something that you love. Let's get real and honest before you chuck it all in.

Here are three things to check if you're not making profit from the business that you love.

Number one: Is your business a valid business for you? What does that mean exactly?

I mean, is it a business that sells something that people will actually pay you for?

Is it something that you even want to do? This can be a really hard one to admit that

you're doing wrong. A good business is an intersection between three things:

What you love to do, what you're really good at and – the last and most

important thing – what people will actually pay you for. You kind of need all three

if you want, not only a profitable business, but something that has longevity for you

and you won't get bored of. It's tempting to make a business just out of something

that you're good at, even if you don't quite love it. You might have done this as well.

For example, I used to do private coaching. I was good at it, but I'm much better

teaching in group situations. When I admitted to myself that I didn't really like

it anymore, it freed up my time and energy to create my Lucky Bitch Money Boot Camp.

Just because something is a good business idea, it doesn't mean that you

have to be the one to bring it into the world. Do a reality check on your

business right now. Is this something that you love? Something that you're good at?

Something that people will pay you for? If yes, you're totally on the right track.

But if it's not, it's time to go back to the drawing board and see if you can tweak

the business. Or, give yourself permission to let it go. I know it can be really hard to

take an objective look at that business that you've set up and realize it's just not

going to cut it, but it's an important step if you want to make more money with less effort.

Here's the second thing that's really important: Not everything has to be a business.

If you really enjoy your hobby, it can be really tempting to turn it into your business

as well. I have done this so many times. For example, one of my very first blogs

was called Necie's movie reviews. Necie is my childhood nickname.

I thought that because I love movies and I love writing it would be a great business idea.

But then I sat in the movie theater with my little notebook and I realized, "Oh, my god.

This sucks! This completely ruins the experience of the movie for me."

I realized that going to the movies was my escape. It didn't have to also be my livelihood.

If you're a business-minded entrepreneur, you probably see the potential in everything.

But this is the harsh truth: some of your hobbies should stay your hobby.

For most of us, that hobby turned business might be fun for a while, but it might not

be something that we really should get paid to do. If you turn it into a business,

you might have to find a new hobby. It's totally okay and totally safe for you to have

some down time just to do things just for fun. You don't have to monetize everything.

I know that's how we work as entrepreneurs. We're always thinking of new money

making ideas, but it can be really distracting if you don't follow through. My advice?

Find something that you love to do, that fits that good business model that I spoke

about before and, that way, you still get to enjoy your hobbies while also building a

business that you love. Remember, you don't have to monetize everything.

Here's the third point: You have to learn to love marketing. Yes, love marketing.

Here's the truth time. Every business needs marketing. Yes, you can totally

manifest new clients, but the universe needs you to meet it halfway. By the way,

marketing is manifesting as well. It's manifesting clients. But if you get really

good at marketing, it's an essential tool that is really going to take your business

to the next level. Otherwise, you will hit a plateau. It's totally okay and normal to

feel a bit icky about marketing or feel like it's sleazy or even dirty to brag about what

we're doing. But this is just a money block. You really have to be doing regular marketing

activities in order to bring in the money. Otherwise, you're just hiding your talents

away from the world. It's totally safe for you to market your business. Money

needs marketing and mindset. It's totally possible to deal with those block, to take

your business to the next level or from flat-lining to growing really fast.

You either need to learn about marketing first or delegate it out. Either way, you

can totally figure it out. Lucky B, that's where the money is. You're allowed to

love your business and you're allowed to make money out of it as well. You might

be wondering how to upgrade your business and you're not quite sure where to start.

but symbolic things in your business and why that is crucial for unlocking cash.

Top Products presents, our pick for the top 5 Zipper Binders.

For this review, we chose 5 brands known for quality Zipper Binders, showcasing a variety

of options that are available.

At the number 5 spot is the C. R. Gibson NCAA Zipper Binder chosen not only for its features,

but also because of its budget friendly price tag.

C.R. Gibson has been trusted for over 140 years to deliver quality party and giftware.

It offers a wide variety of products that make life more colorful and enjoyable.

The C. R. Gibson NCAA Zipper Binder is a quality binder with the Wisconsin Baders logo printed

boldly in full color on it. You get to enjoy the benefits of a good quality binder while

identifying with your team. This binder is nicely designed and has a sizable

capacity while the sturdy zipper keeps everything secure.

As for a downside to this binder, I suppose the biggest one would be if you're from

Minnesota!

Next on our list at number 4, is the Samsill Classic Collection 1.5" Zipper Binder

Samfill Corporation is committed to the pursuit of excellence in people, products and performance.

It provides innovative solutions that protect and help organize information.

The Samsill Zipper Binder has a curved, smooth spine and leather-like cover that gives it

its professional look. It provides ample space for the storage and organization of your documents

and other essentials securely. This is a well built, sturdy and durable binder

that looks and feels like leather, giving it a professional look.

You may want to know that the width may not exactly be up to 1.5" as advertised.

The next product on our list was chosen because it is a great choice for people who are looking

for a Zipper Binder with lots of bells and whistles. At number 3 we have the Franklin

Covey Simulated Leather Zipper Binder.

Franklin Planner, formerly known as Franklin Covey, is focused on providing its customers

with the tools and principles that'll help them achieve what they consider most important.

This Franklin Covey Zipper Binder is a tough 1.5 inch capacity, ring-bound binder that'll

help organize all your school and work stuff. It offers multiple storage options that'll

allow you free up your wallet, shirt pocket, and purse.

This binder is well made, and the simulated leather actually feels good. Its size is perfect,

fitting in nicely with other work items. With this kind of quality, it's only natural

that you'll have to pay a bit more.

When choosing the right Zipper Binder for your needs, TopProducts knows that budget

can be an important consideration and our number 2 pick, the Five Star 1 1/2" Tech Binder

takes the spot for best value.

ACCO Brands Family, under which Five Star operates, has for over 150 years been focused

on helping individuals and businesses with the organizing of their core functions.

The Five Star 1.5" Tech Binder provides ample space for the organization of papers and notes.

It has a 1.5 inch ring which holds up to 300 sheets and a 3 pocket expandable file which

provides even more space. This is a well built, flexible and durable

binder. Other than getting the job done, it also offers stylish color options including

blue, purple, red. On the other hand, some users feel more partitions

in the expandable file would make organization easier.

And finally, the Case-It Mighty Zip Tab Zipper Binder made it to our Top Choice position

because it provides a good array of features with an affordable price.

For almost 40 years, Case-it has led the way in the manufacture of innovative, well-designed

binders and related products. It uses materials that are durable and of the best quality,

backing every product with its guarantee.

Case-it Mighty Zip Tab is a durable large capacity 3 ring binder secured with gusseted,

zippered inner mesh pockets. It has both handle and padded shoulder straps for easy mobility.

This binder is well built and spacious with little pouches for materials like pencils.

It gets even better because the material's easy to clean.

One minor drawback is that the binder clips tend to come loose and uneven over time.
