Waching daily Sep 1 2017

hi everyone and welcome to my channel today I'm gonna do a haul video for you

of what I picked up at the ritzy awareness ale so I have two bags have

this one and then I also have this brown bag that I got from the ritzy warehouse

ale so for some of you who don't know or it's eeeh has this massive warehouse

Eila every year where you can get things for I guess is last season or things for

the fall things in the summer and it's all for like fifty to ninety percent off

and this is the once a year where I splurge and I buy all the clothes I need

for the year and then throughout the year buy new things I'll pick things up

and I try not to I actually save for this sale so I actually had to take it

to their friends and family event which started yesterday and today is the after

opening day but it was nice to go a day ahead to actually grab things while

they're still nice in the rack so I'm gonna show you some of the things that I

picked up let's get started so first things first

I picked up this Babbitt on wool coat you can see that it's a wool coat and it

has ties I can't even see this well I'll show a try on for you so you guys can

see it after but this coat is regular price didn't even have the regular price

on here I've no idea what the regular price is but I got for 174 99 you see

that and it's just a nice wool and cashmere coat and as you can see it has

this tag here that just shows that it's wool and cashmere and it's it's a very

nice soft coat that I wanted for the fall and to dress things up a bit

because I feel like I haven't been dressing up enough I feel like I dress

pretty casual so I wanted a wool coat that can dress things up a little bit so

I hope that was a good deal next thing that I picked up I got this blouse and

this is uh again in Babbitt on and this was 59.99 and it's just so simple it's a

nice fabric that's nice and light and I love neutral colors

sort of these Grey's nudes pink light pinks I love these colors because I feel

like you can pair them with everything and I like how there's buttons down the

middle and I have little pockets and it's longer so it's a longer shirt that

you they'll cover your bottle if you wearing leggings which is well wearing

leggings and my favorite things I love wearing these shirts like this with

leggings so I picked that up and then I got this bodysuit

look at this bodysuit it's pretty cute it's just a nice navy blue bodysuit and

I really like this one because the facts I don't know if you can see that but

it's pretty it's a pretty low back and this is I've got this regular presser

this is $50 and I got it for $9.99 so and it's a nice cotton bodysuit it's not

really for fall but it's something that I really wanted and then I picked up

another bodysuit look at this one this one is a Tallulah bodysuit look at this

so this one has the spaghetti straps has a little bit of a neckline and this one

again this one was was $45 and I got that for $9.99 as well such a good deal

and then I picked up some bra let's yeah just little bra let's say you can ride

her tank tops this one's a Babbitt on one and it's very very silky which is

what I really like like it's very soft on the skin great for summer I mean

summer's almost over but it was $10 regular price $30 and I got this for

$9.99 such a good deal next thing that I picked up oh this is so beautiful I saw

this and I just had to get it it's a white vest white drapey vest I see it

rahmel but has nice flowing edges and I just felt that this you can pair with

anything you just put it on top of something and I'll just dress it up

nicely and it hasn't tie at the back as well

and this was a bit more expensive this regular price thought on all the regular

prices but I got this for $49.99 and this is called the tailored with

Japanese satin back crepe luxurious for a sumptuous weight an amazing drape I

don't know anyway it's cute I like it for work

something a little dressier a little wrinkly but I do need to steam it I

thought that was a good deal and then I picked up just a black kind of work

shirt it's very very silky has a zipper at the back and you know I just like

wearing Chloe shirts like this that are longer they'll cover my butt but yet

it's flowy because I think when things flow and they drape you very nice they

just makes you look nicer and this regular price was $95 look at this

regular price $95 and I got it for $39.99 oh and I picked up another

bodysuit so that's three clearly I really like body suits but this one's

more of a spandex feel like it's a nice stretchy spandex II feel and I thought

this would be really nice oh this one was way more expensive too I didn't even

realize but I thought this would look really nice with a miniskirt lemmings

for a high-waisted skirt you know how sometimes when you wear skirts you have

to tuck them in and gets all wrinkly you can avoid the wrinkle by wearing body

suits underneath the skirt so this is just a nude body suit and regular price

for this one it was $65 and I got it for $29 but I was a bit more expensive but

you know what I think it's very nice and I like the stretchy feel and then I

picked up as you can see I buy a lot of neutral colors I have this white sweater

here look at this it's a white sleeveless long sleeve sweater with

little slits on the side and I thought this would be a good transition piece to

fall and this is from Wilfred and regular price was $95 and I got it for

$39 so just a nice little sweater leave this

sweater oh no I just noticed there's a stain on this just clean but I picked up

another shirt for work and it's just a white silky top that you can wear with

anything you can tuck it in you can wear with leggings you can wear with pants I

just love these silky drinky fabrics I just they just feel so nice on and

they're very comfortable and this regular price was $75 and I got it for

$29.99 such a good deal few more things here I've picked up a lot of things so

the sale was so good and I'm probably not gonna shop for a long time I picked

up this gray dress and it's a golden buy tea and a dress and it's just a gray

sweater dress that's kind of long that you can wear without leggings or with

leggings or nylons whatever you like and this was regular price was $65 and I got

it for $24.99 and one thing I wanted to mention is it's yeah I just find the

quality of Rydia very good I mean when it's when you go to the warehouse sale

the prices are the same as if you went to forever 21

if you want to Topshop hmm because the prices are so good but the quality is

just so much better than H&M Topshop and forever 21 so I wait for the warehouse

sale to pick up these items where I know I can get good quality things for really

cheap and then I got this purple sweater dress so this is a sleeveless dress and

I thought this is really cute because it has this kind of cross neckline oh this

is inside out let's see just a nice little purple you'll see how there's a

diagonal here and then a diagonal the bottom and it's just nice

so that bag is empty the same point isn't it I got this lovely blanket scarf

can you see the pattern it's huge look at this that's perfect for fall you just

wear it like at Jaipur you can like I don't know I don't know how you do this

but I don't have a blanket scarf so I wanted to pick one up regular price wear

this is 96 dollars and I got it for 39 39 99 just a nice scarf for the fall

keep you warm Harry's going all crazy okay I picked up this long-sleeve shirt

look at this it's a long sleeve crop top and I really like this piece because of

the fact it has this cute little triangle cutout so this is great for

working out or go on a dance class just something nice and comfy that you can

throw on with a pair of leggings and this was you don't have the price not

here but I do believe I got this for $14 so love that I picked up two pairs of

jeans this is one of my favorite brand of jeans they're called paradise mine

can you set paradise my knees and they're made in LA and the quality of

these jeans are just amazing so regular price for these jeans Roma are a hundred

hundred and fifty dollars and I got this pair for $29.99 and this is their

Japanese denim this is their yeah made in Lausanne just by hand from premium

Japanese denim and it's just a pair of dirt skinny jeans

just I mean $29.99 that's the price of getting a pair of jeans at H&M and now I

get this really good quality handmade pair of jeans $29 and then I picked up

the same Brad I get my faint friend paradise mine and I got this like light

wash high-waisted ones that are skinny at the bottom again these ones are also

20 999 amazing love it what else can I pick

up oh just a few more small items here I picked up this little crop top I've been

in love with crop tops recently because of weather's been so hot so I got this

cute little cute little crop top and regular price for this was $20 and I got

it for $9.99 I picked up Oh again another one of these bra let's this is

exactly Mont as the other one I showed I just bought two of them cuz they're $10

just cute and I got this bra let look at that one that's pretty cute right just

and that's it that's the end of yeah that's it and that's all I got from me

Do you prefer morning sex? This is what it says about you - Duration: 1:56.

Do you prefer morning sex? This is what it says about you

SEX OCLOCK: People who have sex in the morning are more intelligent.

Sex is good for you both mentally and physically, but doing "it" in the morning has an extra benefit we never knew about. Apparently people who prefer getting jiggy early in the day are more intelligent.

So why wait for tonight? You've got the day off, you should just get straight to it to boost your brain power.

Researchers from Oxford and Coventry universities also discovered sex has the power to level-up your memory, language skills and spatial awareness. But the benefits of sex don't stop there.

Research published in the American Journal of Cardiology found men who get lucky twice a week are 45% less likely to develop heart conditions.

BENEFITS: Men who have regular sex are less likely to suffer from heart disease.

It also helps prevent prostate cancer. Men who who averaged five ejaculations a week have a 33% lower risk of prostate cancer, according to a National Cancer Institute survey of 30,000 middle-aged men.

And if that's not enough to convince you to start your day with sex, maybe the next point will.

Having sex aids weight loss, by stimulating the production of phenetylamine, a natural amphetamine that regulates your appetite. Plus you burn a fair amount of calories while you're doing it.

Fast Forward Video Strategy | Episode 1 - Aligning Your Video With Your Strategy - Duration: 8:24.

hello everybody I'm Jason Cormier I'm one of the co-founders of Room 214 a

digital marketing and social media agency and with me today is Michael

Kwolek who is the Director of Strategic Insights for Room 214. We're here today

to talk about video and what we're calling the fast-forward video strategy

series. There's going to be some great resources here for you. Templates,

articles, and three more videos to follow definitely take the time right now just

to head over to room214.co/fastforward. That's room214.co/fastforward

Sign up so that you get access to the series that will follow

along with the resources via email straight to your inbox. So to get us

started we're going to talk a little bit about video today. I've got some quick

questions to fire your way. Why does approaching video content

strategically even matter? Yeah well I think if we start by thinking about some

stats that HubSpot has put out recently from a survey, over half of marketers say

that video is the most valuable asset when it comes to ROI and brands who use

video say they grow revenue 49 percent faster than those that don't.

So we think about how much impact video can really have that's a great place to

think about okay how do we do this right. You want to really start with intention.

So you want to think about who you're making the video for, what the purpose is,

and think about it really is a long term asset because you can you can look at it

for awareness, for lead generation, even for reducing customer support costs. So

there's a lot of different ways video can be a really valuable asset. But you

want to be very specific with that intention. Well I appreciate that you

level set that I mean I feel like as marketers for the last two, three years

we've been inundated with data with statistics and it's all about video

this video that, and it's the future and we agree yet we see so few people doing

it well yeah. Citing HubSpot again I know they're - 2017 state of inbound

reference that video is still the main disrupter in marketing these days and

we've seen other research. Wise owl says 63% of businesses are using video. So to

think that they're not doing it strategically why is that not happening?

Because it's harder to do it that way. I think a lot of times we've heard brands

say we want we want to make lots of videos and we want them now.

And that's one way to do it but I think the brands that go down that route often

find that they don't get a lot of value of those assets that they create. So we

say let's pause and figure out a strategy behind how we're going to do

this. That's going to take a little more time but it means that the quality of

videos that you're producing is much higher and your connect you're going to

connect with the people who really care about what you're trying to communicate.

So ok let's say I'm a marketing leader, I'm an executive, I've listened to the

stats that you've shared with us, I buy it I want to invest in video yeah. How

can I be confident that my investment is going to actually create an impact for

my business? Well the thing that we really focus on here is grounding our

work in the persona. So understanding everything we can about the customer.

Their needs, their behaviors, their desires, even looking at what those

things, how those things change throughout the buyers journey. You can

create video assets that address different personas at different stages

and get really granular with it. Or maybe you take a slightly different approach

where you look at it from an awareness standpoint. Either way, having that

grounding specifically in the persona, we've found, it creates a lot of impact.

So you know it's interesting I mean when you talk about personas and buyers

journey and some of this is marketing 101, a very for example basic example of

a buyers journey is you're in a stage of awareness from there you move to

consideration and then maybe you're in a decision stage and so what I'm hearing

is you're talking about creating videos that address certain buyers,

personas, in each of those stages. And what about channel strategy and on

different marketing channels and content strategy overall? Yeah I think that's the

great thing about video is that it doesn't have to be just this one

60-second clip that you create. It can be broken out potentially into different

pieces that you would share on social media. You might create blog posts that

relate to content in the video. You might have a landing page that has more

details. So it should be sort of an ecosystem of assets that are created

around the video itself to really you know again leverage the investment that

you're making in creating this larger asset. And I feel like we're still

learning so much about what the benefits of that investment is from customer

service even SEO benefits you know we're seeing that videos certainly extend the

time on site which improves SEO. So it seems like a long list of benefits.

Speaking of benefits, how do we know from a measuring perspective what's what's

working? What do we measure? Yeah I think you need to answer that question before

you make the video. You have to figure out you know are you trying to raise

awareness? Maybe then you are looking at view

counts, reach etc. But if you are trying to generate leads you might be looking

at how many email addresses you collected, how many clicks to your

website things like that. So you want to be very specific upfront and then tie it

to what the actual video is doing. And then think about long term goals, because

a video is going to be on online for years and often has impact on a much

longer term scale than perhaps you know a single Facebook post would have or a

tweet that kind of thing. I know we see common metrics with videos their views

their time viewed and we're learning a lot about that right now there's a very

important thing that Facebook is doing right now and that is enabling us to

retarget an audience that has watched our video for a specific period of time

so for example if somebody watches our video between 3 and 10 seconds we can

retarget them with advertising if they watch 50 percent of it or 95 percent of

it we can also set up a target and send

advertising to those folks as well. So clearly Facebook is figuring a lot of

things out strategically and as good marketers we want to be able to leverage

that. Yeah for sure. So you know thanks for everybody for

watching this far I know we want to give a take away and so Michael with all this

in mind where do you even start when you want to think about aligning video

content strategically? Where do you begin? Yeah we always start with a brief that

outlines everything we've been talking about in as much detail as possible so

that everyone involved in the creation of that video knows exactly the purpose

of what they're trying to do. And we created a template of that brief that

we'd like to share with everybody. Yes so thanks for mentioning that. The template

just register for the video series again room214.co/fastforward

you'll get have access to that template along with all the articles and

resources will be forwarding from that. So thanks again everybody for

joining. Just to give you a little teaser the next episode,

defining your organization's approach to creating video content. The three main

things were going to be talking about and that is, what makes sense to do

internally versus potentially hiring an agency for, we're also looking at live

events video content relative to that, and then certainly data analytics which

I know is a favorite of yours. So again everybody thanks for joining we'll see

you next time. room214.co/fastforward. We're

What can AMTAS do for you? - Duration: 2:43.

Audiologists work in a variety of fast-paced settings. From busy ENT

offices, private practices, the VA, hospitals to academia. The number of

people seeking help for hearing loss has been increasing year-over-year while

the number of practicing audiologists remains about the same. It can be

challenging for audiologists to keep up with a demanding schedule. GSI is excited

to introduce AMTAS, a tool developed by audiologists for audiologists. AMTAS or

Automated Method for Testing Auditory Sensitivity, is a patient directed

evaluation that uses patented quality and reliability algorithms to perform

diagnostic or screening audiograms. AMTAS is a software that is used with the GSI

Audiometer. AMTAS uses circumaural headphones and forehead bone placement

to eliminate the need to switch transducers during the test. It's simple

and easy to use. The instructional video and on-screen directions for your

patient are clear and concise. AMTAS takes about 15 to 20 minutes for the

patient to complete and direct supervision is not necessary.

We trust AMTAS to provide reliable and accurate results. The validity has been proven

with comprehensive studies. AMTAS works.

AMTAS is different than other automated tests. Nine quality indicators, classification of audiometric findings

and two report formats set AMTAS apart.

AMTAS knows when to mask and when there's a masking dilemma.

AMTAS keeps track of false positives and the time it

takes for the patient to respond. It validates with a test retest at a

thousand hertz and does a quality control check when the threshold is determined.

AMTAS is not an audiologist. It's just a

hearing test. An accurate and reliable hearing test, but still just a hearing test.

If your patient is unable to perform AMTAS because of malingering,

inconsistent responses or masking dilemma AMTAS will catch that and

then you can proceed with manual audiometry. The walk-in patient can

perform AMTAS while I finish up programming and checking in hearing aids.

I'm no longer rushing through basic testing to ensure I have enough time to

counsel when I have a busy schedule, because I can manage a couple of

patients at the same appointment time. When ENT orders three hearing

evaluations at the same time, no one has to wait for 45 minutes to see me.

One patient can do AMTAS while I perform middle ear evaluations and OAEs on the others.

AMTAS can be used in a variety of ways to boost efficiency in your office.

PeopleWork: 6 Ways to Become A Respected Safety Leader - Duration: 7:36.

Safety leadership is not just for those with a title.

On this episode, we will talk about 6 Ways To Become A Respected Safety Leader.

As a safety leader, more doors open, more options

are available and the longer you are likely to live.

And that's how we're going to start.

My Blog post, Safety Cop Or Safety Leader got a lot of traffic and created a lot of discussion.

To read it for yourself, go to kevburns.com/blog and in the search bar on the right hand side,

enter "safety cop or safety leader."

In safety cop or safety leader, some safety people found themselves inadvertently standing

on the wrong side of the conversation.

But, as Dr. Phil says, you can't fix what you don't acknowledge.

To become a safety leader, you have to first understand what safety leadership is not:

it is not safety management.

Since there is no requirement to be in management to be a leader, then it only makes sense that

you don't have to be in safety management to be a safety leader.

Safety leadership is not just for those with a title.

Safety leaders can be found on the front-lines too.

They are willing to coach and inspire better safety performance through mostly, their example.

You see, being a leader starts with being willing to go first.

The first person to do something is the leader.

Everyone else follows.

But to go from safety person to safety leader, requires a mindset shift.

So with that in mind, let's explore six mindset shifts that can cause you to become a better and respected

safety leader:

Mindset shift #1.

Coaching over coersion.

Safety leaders don't coerce or force people to obey commands.

If you have to coerce your people to get anything done, then it's safe to say that you're not

really leading anyway.

What real safety leaders want is to help employees to make better decisions for themselves.

Coersion takes away free choice.

People hate to be told what to do.

But they love to feel like they have some degree of choice.

Give your people the opportunity to step up and demonstrate their own personal leadership

skills and people will be more inclined to make the right choice.

Mindset shift #1.

Coaching over coersion.

Mindset shift #2.

Communication over telling.

People don't particularly choose well without good information.

But information is just words.

Telling people about safety is not the same as truly communicating safety.

Telling is just using words.

It becomes communication when the other person acknowledges, understands and internalizes

what they were told.

Otherwise, it's just words.

Leaders ensure the information was understood and internalized.

When what was said is understood and internalized, then they have successfully communicated.

True communication is the keystone of safety leadership.

Mindset shift #2.

Communication over telling.

Mindset shift #3.

PeopleWork over paperwork.

We are not suggesting that safety paperwork isn't important.

It is.

And it's still got to be done. But we have to focus on the fact that it is people who get injured.

It is people who make decisions on safety.

It is people who get your safety results.

We hurt when people get hurt - not when they fill out a form wrong.

People are always going to be more important.

People who only want the best for others are people who care about others.

It is difficult to be fully vested in safety without a genuine caring for others.

Let's remember that.

Safety leadership is peoplework over paperwork.

Now, that's Mindset shift #3.

And speaking of peoplework, get your copy today of PeopleWork: The Human Touch in Workplace

Safety available everywhere around the world on Amazon.

Alright, let's get back to the list.

Mindset shift #4.

Community over compliance.

How do you actually show your appreciation for the contribution and value of meeting

the minimum requirement of the safety code?

Meeting the bare minimum of safety is not safety leadership.

It is short-term compliance.

Safety leadership is tied directly to the way you appreciate your people, recognize

their contribution and value who they are and what they do.

Create a teamwork focus that honors and protects the whole "community."

Create a community that cares for and looks out for the rest of the community.

Mindset shift #4.

Community over compliance.

Mindset shift #5.

Respect over regulation.

Barking orders requires little skill or talent.

Building respect does.

It is difficult to trust someone that you do not respect.

And it is even more difficult to be told about the "right" way to do things from someone

who obviously does not respect the people they are talking to.

As much as regulations and rules are important, what people want more from their supervisors

is to be respected.

When people know that you trust and respect them, they will trust and respect you in return.

People are more willing to engage with a safety leader who respects the people they work with.

Mindset shift #5.

Respect over regulation.

Mindset shift #6.

Equality over ego.

Safety is the great equalizer - everyone is equal.

In safety, positions are removed.

If everyone has a shared responsibility for safety, then no one person or position is

more important than another.

In the eyes of safety, no one life is more important than another.

Injury doesn't choose its victims based on position.

That's the reason why safety is not just the domain of those with safety letters behind their name.

Everyone is equal in safety.

Safety leaders ensure everyone understands that we are all equal and equally responsible

for our own and others' safety.

Mindset shift #6.

Equality over ego.

Safety leadership requires active participation.

There are no spectators in the successful safety culture.

Everyone is a full and willing participant.

You see it show up in their choices, in speaking up, in taking active roles in safety meetings

and in taking safety home.

Safety leaders don't do it for the applause.

They do it in order to be able to give others applause.

There will always be employment for good leaders.

Safety leaders are going to be in demand.

They will always have options.

That means security for their families and themselves.

It makes economic sense for your future to get on-board with safety and step up and be

a safety leader.

The better you become as a safety leader, the better the quality of life: more doors

open, more options are available and the longer you are likely to live.
