Waching daily Sep 1 2017

THE SCHOOL SEASON HAS BEGUN AND OF COURSE, PARENTS ARE OUT

LOOKING FOR PRODUCTS TO BUY FOR THEIR KIDS TO MAKE SURE

THEY ARE PREPARED.

SUPPLIES, NOTEBOOKS, PENCILS THAT YOU GUYS GET IT, REQUEST A

THEY GET ANA.

DEFINITELY.

RACERS, MAGIC MARKERS, MAYBE CRAYONS.

MAYBE EVEN HIGHLIGHTERS, YOU NEVER KNOW DODDS IS A MAJOR

THE KIDS.

THINGS A LITTLE VIOLENT AT A WALMART IN MICHIGAN.

APPARENTLY, NUMBER OF WOMEN WERE FIGHTING OVER A NOTEBOOK.

IT WAS THE LAST NOTEBOOK AND AS A RESULT, SOME OF THEM

BEGAN PULLING ONE ANOTHER'S HAIR.

THEY GOT PHYSICAL.

ONE GIRL WAS GOING TO BUY A NOTEBOOK.

THERE WAS ONE LEFT SOME PUSHING RESULTED.

THEY BEGAN TO ARGUE WHO WAS THE RIGHTFUL PURCHASER OF THAT

NOTEBOOK.

THINGS ACTUALLY TOOK A TURN FOR THE WORSE WHEN SOMEONE

ACTUALLY PULLED A GUN OUT.

ONE OF THE YOUNGER WOMEN WAS HAVING HER HAIR PULLED.

HER MOTHER WAS THERE AND HER MOTHER PULLED OUT HER GUN AND

THREATENED THE WOMEN ATTACKING HER DAUGHTER WITH THAT GUN AND

POLICE WERE CALLED AND THINGS LUCKILY WERE BETTER AFTER THAT.

BUT REALLY?

YOU ARE GOING TO PUT A GUN?

YOU WERE GOING TO PULL SOMEONE'S HARRY GET PHYSICAL OVER A 10

SEND NOTEBOOK THAT YOU CAN BUY ON AMAZON AND HAVE IT

DELIVERED THAT IF YOU WANTED TO DUCK

FIRST OF ALL, THE LAST NOTEBOOK SOUND LIKE A MOVIE.

OH, THE LAST NOTEBOOK.

OUT THIS SUMMER.

2ND OF ALL, COME ON.

A NOTEBOOK AT WALMART?

NO DISRESPECT, BUT THERE WILL BE OTHER NOTEBOOKS AT WALMART.

YOU ARE GOING TO LIVE.

THIS IS NOT THE THING TO GET VIOLENT OVER.

BUT THE IMPORTANT THING HERE IS WHAT HAPPENED.

THAT'S WHY.

FIGHTS HAVE ALWAYS HAPPENED.

IT'S A LITTLE BIT LIKE CLIMATE CHANGE.

STORMS OF ALWAYS HAPPENED BUT CLIMATE CHANGE MAKE MORE SEVERE.

THEY ALWAYS HAPPENED, GUNS MAKE THEM MORE SEVERE.

THE COP WHO SPOKE TO THE PRESS, SCOTT BEATON IS HIS NAME.

HE SAYS SHE WAS LICENSED TO CARRY - A LEGAL, LAWFUL GUN

OWNER AND IT WORRIES ME BECAUSE I THINK PEOPLE WHO ARE

REASONABLE, RESPONSIBLE ADULTS SHOULD HAVE ACCESS TO GUNS

AS LONG AS THEY PURCHASE ILLEGALLY UNTIL GO OUT AND

BUY IT AT A GUN SHOW BUT EVEN THE MOST LAW-ABIDING

CITIZENS LOSE THEIR TEMPER AND THEY ACT LIKE THAT.

REALLY WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO TRANSMIT LEFT OVER THIS?

HERE'S WHAT YOU DO.

YOU WALK AWAY THAT YOU REALLY YOUR FIGHTING OVER AND YOU

WALK AWAY.

THAT IS IT.

I LIKE, YOU WANT TO KNOW BUT THAT FINE, I WILL FIND

ANOTHER PLACE TO GET IT.

IT IS NOT THE END OF THE WORLD.

BUT THIS ONE THAN ANYTHING SHOWS ME WHAT HUMAN NATURE IS LIKE.

WE ALL ANIMALS.

WE'VE ALL BEEN TRAINED TO BE SOMEWHAT CIVILIZED BUT

SOMETIMES WE LOSE OUR JUDGMENT.

SOMETIMES WE LOSE SOME OF THAT TRAINING AND BACK LIKE ANIMALS.

IT'S LIKE A BUFFET AT A WEDDING.

ONCE A BUFFET IS OPEN, PEOPLE LOSE IT.

ALL THAT BLACK FRIDAY STUFF THAT HAPPENS AFTER THINKS

GIVING DRIVES ME CRAZY.

OH MY GOD, IT'S 28% OFF.

I'M GOING TO LOSE MY MIND.

JUST CALM DOWN FOR A 2ND.

THAT IS THE THING ABOUT GUNS.

THEY MAKE EVERY SITUATION WERE HOSTILE BECAUSE YOU KNOW YOU'VE

ALL LOST HER TEMPER'S AND IF AT A MOMENT ILLUSTRATIVE OR YOU

HAPPEN TO HAVE A GUN ON YOU, IT COULD BE POTENTIALLY DISASTROUS

AND THAT IS WHY I ACTUALLY WANT WAY MORE GUN REGULATION

THAN ANA DOES BECAUSE GUNS DON'T MAKE YOU SAFER.

IT IS A FACT.

LOOK AT THE STATS.

WE'VE SHOWED YOU THEM OVER AND OVER.

IF YOU HAVE A GUN YOU ARE MORE LIKELY TO HAVE THAT GUN

USED AGAINST YOU EITHER BUY OR SELL BY ACCIDENT OR BY A

FAMILY MEMBER.

SOMETIMES BY ACCIDENT, SOMETIMES TO MYSTIC VIOLENCE AND BY THE

WAY, SUICIDE HAPPENS WAY MORE FREQUENTLY WHEN THERE IS A GUN

IN THE HOUSE AND IT IS SUCCESSFUL WAY MORE FREQUENTLY

WHEN THERE IS GOING IN THE HOUSE THAT YOU THINK A GUN WILL

PROTECT YOU BUT WHAT OFTEN THAN NOT IT IS DAMAGE TO PEOPLE

AROUND YOU.

EVEN IF YOU HAVE A CONCEALED CARRY PERMIT IS

A DISASTROUS IDEA TO BRING A GUN TO WALMART WHERE YOU MIGHT

HAVE TO FIGHT OVER THE LAST NOTEBOOK.

ISN'T THAT CRAZY?

THE WHOLE POINT OF THIS WAS A CONCEALED CARRY.

THE COP CAME OUT AND SAID SHE HAD A CONCEALED CARRY

PERMIT SO I GUESS IT'S OKAY.

THAT IS A LIE.

IS NOT OKAY.

THIS PERSON WHO WAS ABOUT TO SHOOT SOMEONE IN THE MIDDLE

OF WALMART OVER 19

SENT KNOW BUT, IT'S OKAY BECAUSE IT A CONCEALED CARRY PERMIT.

WHAT IT ALSO DOES THE PSYCHE, WHEN YOU'RE ABOUT TO GET

INTO BESIDES HIS HER ANIMALS WHICH AGAIN LIKE YOU SAID,

FIGHTS OF ALWAYS HAPPENED.

WHAT PEOPLE DO IS THEY GO I CAN ENGAGE IN THIS FIGHT

BECAUSE AT THE END OF IT, I HAVE A GUN.

THEY KNOW THEY HAVE A GUN BECAUSE SHE IS A CONCEALED

CARRY PERMIT AND SHE MADE THE DECISION TO PUT THE GUN

RIVERS HE HELD IT AND CONCEAL IT TO GET INTO A WALMART JUST

IN CASE SOMETHING POPS UP.

SUDDENLY YOU WALK UP AND WHEN THE FIGHT HAPPENS YOU DON'T

GO, IT IS A 19

SEND NOTEBOOK THAT YOU LIKE YOU BELIEVE YOUR FIGHTING OVER THIS.

THESE BITCHES DON'T I HAVE A GUN BECAUSE NOW YOU'RE MY DESK,

I'M GOING INTO THIS FIGHT BECAUSE IT IS NORMAL NOT TO

SHOOT SOMEONE OVER A NOTEBOOK.

THERE ARE NO WINNERS HERE.

THE FEELING THAT IT IS COOL BECAUSE THIS PERSON HAS A

CONCEALED PERMIT OR LICENSE, THE FACT THAT ANYONE ñ

THINK ABOUT IT.

THE ESCALATION ENDED WITH SOMEONE PULLING OUT A GUN

BUT THINK ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED PRIOR TO THAT.

I CAN'T IMAGINE PULLING A STRANGER'S HAIR OVER A NOTEBOOK.

THEY WERE PULLING ONE ANOTHER'S HAIR.

THEY WERE THROWING PUNCHES AND GETTING PHYSICAL OVER A

NOTEBOOK.

BUT YOU DIDN'T SEE THE UNICORNS ON

THAT NOTEBOOK.

Top 10 Countries to Move to

Scary as it might sound folks, we are sorry to burst your bubble, Trump has a chance of winning– and by chance we mean a "good" chance of winning. We have already told you of a few reasons.

Now if you are seriously considering him to be a problem and you do not want to refer to him as your President for the next five years- you might consider moving! Below is a carefully compiled list of the best countries to move to if Trump becomes President.

10. Sweden

It has been named as a country with most progressive views regarding women and also as the best place to be a woman. A generous 15% of the whole population consists of expatriates.

Trump has had a history of messing up with women so here we go, here's your chance ladies!.

9. Ecuador

We decided to surprise you with this choice. This aims for the older people though because the cost of living in Ecuador is around 2000 USD per month.

Many expats say they want to be there "forever" and the general satisfaction level is high. People are pleased with their lives.

There is plenty of room in life to socialize and make friends. You don't need to be a money making machine all year round to vacation for 20 days. Ecuador offers you a better life than that.

8. Canada

Move to Canada has been the most popular search this election season amongst Americans according to Google.

All credit goes to Trump! Though it has been a habit to threaten with "moving to Canada" if your person doesn't get elected- only this time people are seriously considering it. It has a friendly and open immigration policy.

7. Ireland

The world hates Americans. So expats will be in great need of making new friends if they decide to move abroad. Consider Ireland because it will actually welcome you. Becoming Irish citizens is also relatively easy.

To top it all, you have three months to find a job and start the process of immigration if you are a US citizen. Taxes are high though there are plenty of opportunities for skilled workers.

6. Germany

The quality of life is high. Period.

5. Bahrain

We understand if some of you haven't even heard of it because it does not come up in conversations that often, but unlike other regions of the Persian Gulf, Bahrain is not a bubble.

It doesn't rely on oil as a major source of income and has invested heavily in tourism and business. Many expats have reported "greater savings than home" while being here.

4. Luxembourg

Despite being economically sound, people tend to live in Luxembourg only for a couple of years before they decide to move somewhere else. That is primarily because they become money making machines like almost everyone and have struggle making friends.

Besides that, it is a major financial capital of Europe so you could get some good opportunities here.

3. Singapore

Surprised? Yea many people are surprised when we suggest Singapore. The island might be small but the opportunities are big. Many people report a boost in general quality of life. The salaries are attractive but the education is expensive.

Yet, it ranks high amongst places that are good for raising children abroad.

2. Switzerland

Well if you don't want to go all the way to the other side of the world- not that Trump doesn't scare you that much- you could consider a country right across the Atlantic.

The Alps, the chocolate and the natural picturesque beauty are printable features of this country but besides that the economics is quite good. Expats have reported earnings of up to 200,000 Dollars a year.

1. New Zealand

This makes to the top of our list for obvious reasons.

Did you like the backdrop scenery in The Lord of the Rings? The pretty village where the hobbits lived? Yea- that is New Zealand! Besides the scenery, the crime rate is very low and they say that it is the best place to raise good, confident and self-sufficient children.

Income rates might be low but government policies render the quality of life to be high AND there is no racial discrimination- minorities… behold!!!.

The ultimate decision will be based on Trump "actually" becoming president. Moreover, there is economics, employment opportunity for your skills, general atmosphere, racial discrimination and other social factors to consider to.

Fast Forward Video Strategy | Episode 1 - Aligning Your Video With Your Strategy - Duration: 8:24.

hello everybody I'm Jason Cormier I'm one of the co-founders of Room 214 a

digital marketing and social media agency and with me today is Michael

Kwolek who is the Director of Strategic Insights for Room 214. We're here today

to talk about video and what we're calling the fast-forward video strategy

series. There's going to be some great resources here for you. Templates,

articles, and three more videos to follow definitely take the time right now just

to head over to room214.co/fastforward. That's room214.co/fastforward

Sign up so that you get access to the series that will follow

along with the resources via email straight to your inbox. So to get us

started we're going to talk a little bit about video today. I've got some quick

questions to fire your way. Why does approaching video content

strategically even matter? Yeah well I think if we start by thinking about some

stats that HubSpot has put out recently from a survey, over half of marketers say

that video is the most valuable asset when it comes to ROI and brands who use

video say they grow revenue 49 percent faster than those that don't.

So we think about how much impact video can really have that's a great place to

think about okay how do we do this right. You want to really start with intention.

So you want to think about who you're making the video for, what the purpose is,

and think about it really is a long term asset because you can you can look at it

for awareness, for lead generation, even for reducing customer support costs. So

there's a lot of different ways video can be a really valuable asset. But you

want to be very specific with that intention. Well I appreciate that you

level set that I mean I feel like as marketers for the last two, three years

we've been inundated with data with statistics and it's all about video

this video that, and it's the future and we agree yet we see so few people doing

it well yeah. Citing HubSpot again I know they're - 2017 state of inbound

reference that video is still the main disrupter in marketing these days and

we've seen other research. Wise owl says 63% of businesses are using video. So to

think that they're not doing it strategically why is that not happening?

Because it's harder to do it that way. I think a lot of times we've heard brands

say we want we want to make lots of videos and we want them now.

And that's one way to do it but I think the brands that go down that route often

find that they don't get a lot of value of those assets that they create. So we

say let's pause and figure out a strategy behind how we're going to do

this. That's going to take a little more time but it means that the quality of

videos that you're producing is much higher and your connect you're going to

connect with the people who really care about what you're trying to communicate.

So ok let's say I'm a marketing leader, I'm an executive, I've listened to the

stats that you've shared with us, I buy it I want to invest in video yeah. How

can I be confident that my investment is going to actually create an impact for

my business? Well the thing that we really focus on here is grounding our

work in the persona. So understanding everything we can about the customer.

Their needs, their behaviors, their desires, even looking at what those

things, how those things change throughout the buyers journey. You can

create video assets that address different personas at different stages

and get really granular with it. Or maybe you take a slightly different approach

where you look at it from an awareness standpoint. Either way, having that

grounding specifically in the persona, we've found, it creates a lot of impact.

So you know it's interesting I mean when you talk about personas and buyers

journey and some of this is marketing 101, a very for example basic example of

a buyers journey is you're in a stage of awareness from there you move to

consideration and then maybe you're in a decision stage and so what I'm hearing

is you're talking about creating videos that address certain buyers,

personas, in each of those stages. And what about channel strategy and on

different marketing channels and content strategy overall? Yeah I think that's the

great thing about video is that it doesn't have to be just this one

60-second clip that you create. It can be broken out potentially into different

pieces that you would share on social media. You might create blog posts that

relate to content in the video. You might have a landing page that has more

details. So it should be sort of an ecosystem of assets that are created

around the video itself to really you know again leverage the investment that

you're making in creating this larger asset. And I feel like we're still

learning so much about what the benefits of that investment is from customer

service even SEO benefits you know we're seeing that videos certainly extend the

time on site which improves SEO. So it seems like a long list of benefits.

Speaking of benefits, how do we know from a measuring perspective what's what's

working? What do we measure? Yeah I think you need to answer that question before

you make the video. You have to figure out you know are you trying to raise

awareness? Maybe then you are looking at view

counts, reach etc. But if you are trying to generate leads you might be looking

at how many email addresses you collected, how many clicks to your

website things like that. So you want to be very specific upfront and then tie it

to what the actual video is doing. And then think about long term goals, because

a video is going to be on online for years and often has impact on a much

longer term scale than perhaps you know a single Facebook post would have or a

tweet that kind of thing. I know we see common metrics with videos their views

their time viewed and we're learning a lot about that right now there's a very

important thing that Facebook is doing right now and that is enabling us to

retarget an audience that has watched our video for a specific period of time

so for example if somebody watches our video between 3 and 10 seconds we can

retarget them with advertising if they watch 50 percent of it or 95 percent of

it we can also set up a target and send

advertising to those folks as well. So clearly Facebook is figuring a lot of

things out strategically and as good marketers we want to be able to leverage

that. Yeah for sure. So you know thanks for everybody for

watching this far I know we want to give a take away and so Michael with all this

in mind where do you even start when you want to think about aligning video

content strategically? Where do you begin? Yeah we always start with a brief that

outlines everything we've been talking about in as much detail as possible so

that everyone involved in the creation of that video knows exactly the purpose

of what they're trying to do. And we created a template of that brief that

we'd like to share with everybody. Yes so thanks for mentioning that. The template

just register for the video series again room214.co/fastforward

you'll get have access to that template along with all the articles and

resources will be forwarding from that. So thanks again everybody for

joining. Just to give you a little teaser the next episode,

defining your organization's approach to creating video content. The three main

things were going to be talking about and that is, what makes sense to do

internally versus potentially hiring an agency for, we're also looking at live

events video content relative to that, and then certainly data analytics which

I know is a favorite of yours. So again everybody thanks for joining we'll see

you next time. room214.co/fastforward. We're
