Waching daily Feb 1 2018

five reasons you shouldn't give up reason one because when you look back

you'll tell yourself why did I quit because you'll see where you're at now

and you'll say I could have made it through it why didn't I just keep going

reason number two what else would you do if it wasn't for this what would you be

doing would you be sitting around doing nothing just wasting your life in your

time away what would you be pursuing something else because what truly

matters to you is another reason you shouldn't quit reason three because

others are depending on you some of you have families some of you have friends

they're depending on you for be it income stability in anything in life and

if you quit you let them down and if you really care about them you won't give up

reason number four because all the people that told you that it couldn't be

done you're proving them right they always told you that I couldn't be done

and that you should give up because you don't have the skills the talent or the

work ethic to do it and if you quit now

you'll always remember the voice of them telling you it can't be done and you'll

never forget it reason number five because quitting for

some of us it isn't an option we can't quit because some of us develop ourselves

into the person who we always knew we become because sometimes quitting isn't

an option you have to have a passion and a focus and a desire that you want so

badly that no matter what happens the pursuit of it is what truly makes you

happy

Kellyanne Conway Is Furious That Fact Checkers Are Calling Out Trump - Duration: 4:27.

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway has absolutely had it with the liberal media and

especially the liberal fact-checkers that keep calling out her boss for his constant

lies.

On Wednesday, following the State of the Union address, Kellyanne Conway appeared on Mark

Simone's radio program in New York, where the two of them talked about the fact that

those fact-checkers clearly have some kind of bias against the president.

Listen to what the two had to say about it:

Hey, Kellyanne Conway.

Here's something you guys gotta work on.

Liberals seize more and more control of the infrastructure.

They control the newspapers.

They control the networks.

In the last few years, they've taken total control of the fact-checking sites, and they're

very slanted, factcheck.org and all of them.

The Washington Post, the New York Times, I mean obviously there's not a really good fact-checking

site that doesn't have a lot of bias in it.

Something's gotta be done about that.

Yes, fact-checking the fact-checkers.

It's not a bad idea, only because ... the people will say, "Well, the facts speak for

themselves!"

Right, but you're selecting what you think should be fact-checking, so this industry

was not at a fever pitch when Barack Obama was president.

People will say, "Because he didn't lie!"

Okay, well.

The big one was "You can keep your plan, you can keep your doctors," right there with my

eyes closed, not even thinking about it, I came up with two whoppers.

There had to be more.

And so, you know, you're right though.

It's not just academia.

It's not just the mainstream media.

It's not just so many organs and organizations that are slanted toward this president and

toward his agenda, but now the fact-checking industry.

But look, America are their own fact checkers in terms of whether they believe the tax cut,

the big lie that it's not going to happen.

They know if their 401ks are fatter, if their retirement savings, their pensions, their

kids' educational funds have increased or decreased.

That's right, ladies and gentlemen, the woman who coined the term 'alternative facts' believes

that fact-checkers are just being mean to the president because they don't like him.

They didn't fact check Obama, according to what she just said in that clip, and he lied

all the time!

So why, suddenly, are these liberal fact-checkers just now going after the president of the

United States?

Well, here's the thing.

Pretty much any politician that says anything publicly is fact-checked these days.

We have fact-checking websites.

We have newspapers that have entire departments devoted to fact-checking what politicians

say.

And occasionally, a Democrat says something that gets rated as a pants on fire type lie.

But more often than not, the people who earn that rating are Republicans, especially in

the last year: Donald Trump.

It's not that they have a bias against Donald Trump, it's that Donald Trump clearly has

a bias against telling the truth, as do you, Kellyanne Conway!

You invented your own set of facts.

You've invented your own reality in which you and the president live fact-free, from

the rest of the world.

That's not how it works.

Just because somebody calls you out on a lie doesn't mean that they're biased against you,

it means that they're biased against liars.

That's the difference here.

And I know it can't be easy to have to go out there every day and defend a president

who you know is lying through his teeth every time he opens his mouth, but that's the job

you chose and I guess that's what you have to do.

Meanwhile, you also say that Americans are their own fact-checkers.

Well, if that's the case, then your guy, your boss, your president is in a hell of a lot

more trouble than he would be if it was only those newspapers doing the fact-checking,

because a majority of people in this country do not believe a word that Donald Trump says

and they do not believe that he is trustworthy, and they don't even believe that he is a good

role model for their children.

If I were you, I would leave that job up to the actual fact-checkers, because if you're

putting it on the American public, then you're in bigger trouble than you think.

YOU ARE THE RESISTANCE | RUFFLES - Duration: 3:04.

We're back. It's 2018 and we have something very serious to talk to you about.

The world is falling apart around us. Women are marking in the streets.

We're on the brink of a nuclear war.

California can't decide if it wants to secede from the union or form a new state.

Either way we have to make new a flag.

But all of that pales in comparison to the real threat facing Americans...

...ruffles.

[super serious music]

Ladies, Golden Globes, you all wore black in solidarity

Cool. Great. Everyone looks good in black.

It's slimming.

And bonus, you were standing up for womens rights.

And then fast forward to the SAG awards.

That red carpet looked like a community theater production of Babes In Toyland.

I mean there were a lot of missteps on the SAG red carpet. Pun intended.

But the copious amount of ruffles were the straw that broke this camels back.

And we know this is how trends start.

Oh yeah, first it hits the red carpet and we're all making fun of it...

And then the next thing you know I'm expected to were a midriff and a full length tutu!

Oh, you mean a two piece gown.

There is no such thing as a two piece gown! It's called at top and a skirt!

Do not be part of the problem, Tara!

Listen viewers, we know whats next. It's ruffles!

Listen, I'm busty. Iv'e got hips.

I don't need more fluff. I don't look good in ruffles.

There is only one person who looks good in that amount of ruffles and her name is Little Bo Peep.

And she has lost her sheep and she doesn't know where to find them.

It is just like the god damn lumberjack trend.

Listen, I don't think my man should dress up like a lumberjack unless they can actually cut down a tree,

and I definitely don't think a woman should dress up like Little Bo Peep unless she can actually wrangle some sheep!

When did it become a trend to dress like Mother Goose characters?

Look and it wasn't just the ruffles. The SAG red carpet was a train wreck!

Margot Robbie only got away with wearing an ostrich feather belt

because Kate Nash showed up in a dress made out of curtain.

Not a curtain dress like Scarlet or the Von Trapps. Oh NO!

Curtains like you would find in the kitchen of your grandmothers double wide trailer.

Look- the last time the amount of lace and ruffles was in vogue, we were all powdering our wigs

and the harpsichord was the instrument of choice!

Please, do not bring back the harpsichord.

And I get it. I get it. It's fashion. It's suppose to be weird.

But if the is the direction our society is headed, we are doomed!

Oh yeah, first it's ruffles. Then the next thing you know we've got vomitoriums and it's the fall of Rome.

Mark my words. This is a turning point.

If we don't do something to stop the ruffles, America as we know it will cease to be.

If you are listening to this, you are the resistance.

[super intense music so you know it's serious]

How did the SAG awards our weird the Grammys?

Yeah, you know, I never thought I would say this

but they should really take some tips from Cindy Lauper

She did look good.

She did.

She's aging well.

Top 5 WWE Hall Of Famers You Didn't Know Are Still Wrestling Today - Part 2 - Duration: 5:57.

Top 5 WWE Hall Of Famers You Didn't Know Are Still Wrestling Today - Part 2

5 GREG "THE HAMMER" VALENTINE: When you've won over 40 championships throughout your career, there really isn't any reason to keep wrestling. Especially when you're 66-years-old. Apparently, nobody has given that memo to Greg "The Hammer" Valentine.

From Wisconsin, to New York, to West Virginia, the former Intercontinental Champion can still be seen all over the American independent scene, sometimes even reuniting with his former Rhythm and Blues teammate, The Honky Tonk Man.

The Hammer doesn't seem to be taking it too easy on his body either. It was only a little over two years ago that he wrestled in a Dog Collar match for Championship International Wrestling in Jackson, Michigan. His body might not be what it once was, but boy does he still have some of the most luxurious hair in the business.

4 KOKO B WARE: Ware's name always comes up when people talk about some of the most underserved wrestlers in the WWE Hall of Fame. Chyna's not in the Hall of Fame? The British Bulldog's not in the Hall of Fame? Ware's former High Energy partner Owen Hart isn't in the Hall of Fame? But Koko B.

Ware has been in for almost a decade?! Doesn't quite make sense. But, hey, good for the Bird Man. I'm sure the Hal of Fame ring has been able to up his appearance fee and put some extra bird food in Frankie's mouth.

Not only does he still dust off the checkered parachute pants a few times a year, but he has become a staple of the convention circuit, seemingly appearing at every single one across the country in recent memory.

3 RIKISHI: It makes sense that a wrestler who spent the bulk (pun intended) of his time rubbing his butt in other dudes' faces is able to continue wrestling to this day. When Rikishi changed up his wrestling style and went from being hard-hitting Samoan brawler to a comedy act, he definitely added a few years to his career.

The 2015 Hall of Fame inductee can usually be seen as part of the Samoan Dynasty with VIP, his cousin Black Pearl, his son Sefa Fatu where they are mainstays of the California-based Knokx Pro Entertainment promotion, where Rikishi is also a trainer. The company boasts having the "first ever live interactive wrestling show," allowing fans to choose what moves are performed.

2 "HACKSAW" JIM DUGGAN: Hoooooo! It makes sense that one of the most beloved wrestlers of all time would still be putting on matches. Like just about every entry on this list, Hacksaw is resigned to working the independent circuit.

After a few latter-day runs in 2005 and 2011, his last WWE match came in 2013 when he defeated fellow patriot Jack Swagger on an edition of Old School Raw. Out of all of the entries on this last, Duggan has the most recent matches under his belt, already competing in two bouts in January of 2018.

The first ever Royal Rumble winner is also on a bit of a hot streak as it doesn't look like he's lost a match since October of 2016. Somebody book this guy against Asuka ASAP.

1 MIL MASCARAS: The last surviving member of Mexico's "Big Three" of lucha libre, the other two being the legendary El Santo and Blue Demon, Mil Mascaras has carved out one of the most incredible careers in wrestling history.

Not only is the man of a thousand masks one of Mexico's most popular luchadors, but he also starred in 20 feature films. In fact, the character of Mil Mascaras was initially created to be an action movie star.

His in-ring career was just as successful, as he went on to win gold all over the world. In recent years, Mascaras has been splitting his time between his home country of Mexico and Japan. In Japan, he can be usually seen teaming up with other wrestlers who refuse to retire like Riki Choshu, Keji Mutoh, and Tatsumi Fujinami (more on him later).

Making a Vision Board to Achieve Your Dreams - Duration: 5:31.

- Hello my friends! Kaitlyn here!

And it's that time of year again.

Time to envision my dreams and successes for the year

and turn them into reality.

Well, the reality of a vision board for now.

(upbeat electronic music)

So last year, I made my first vision board

as documented in this video

and it was an amazing experience.

Both the making, and the having it around

all year to inspire me.

So I definitely had to make another one this year.

The basic premise of a vision board is to

write down your goals, and then translate them

into images that represent your goals

or the feeling of success that accomplishing

those goals would give you.

Basically, stuff that gives you the warm fuzzies and

makes you want to work really hard to fulfill your dreams.

I personally, I like making a collage vision board

on a large cork board that I can put in my office

out of magazine cutouts and printouts of inspiring images.

But you can make a vision board in lots of ways.

It could be your desktop background,

or a framed photo on your desk, or in your journal.

Essentially whatever suits your needs

and will be in a place that you'll see often.

So I decided to focus my vision board

a little bit differently this year.

Last year I wrote out all of my very specific goals

and put them in the center of my board

and then decorated all around it.

Because I didn't really accomplish a lot of

those goals from last year,

because life is unpredicitable and kinda sucks sometimes,

I wanted this years board to be less about

forcing myself into certain need-to-do's

and more about focusing on four major areas

of my life that I wanna see change and growth.

So, let's put the board together

and then we'll talk about it.

(techno music)

Okay so now that the board is all together

what went into it?

The four main areas that I want to focus on this year are

speak truth, be your own hero,

imagine, dream, inspire, and worthy of love.

For speak truth, this section has a lot to do

with me healing from the end of a long-term relationship.

So it's incorporates statements like

tell your story, raise your voice

and it's pushing back at this idea that

I felt really silenced in the last failing

months of my relationship.

I stopped saying how I felt and really even

valuing how I felt in an effort to make someone else happy.

So the idea here is to inspire me

to speak truth in my experiences

and in how I'm feeling in any future relationship,

and to really value my voice.

For be your own hero, this section also has to do a bit with

the end of that relationship.

Because I allowed myself to feel

very small, and weak, and helpless.

But I'm not man, I am a super-girl.

A dragon, a magical unicorn.

So this section is all filled with my heroes,

both real and imaginary.

Sailor Moon as always.

Tessa Violet, an amazing musician and YouTube creator.

Hannah Shaw, the kitten lady an advocate and activist

for saving kitten lives.

For Imagine. Dream. Inspire.,

you'll also notice this is my new tag line on YouTube,

so this section is, of course, all about creativity.

It's also about envisioning a happy future for myself,

which is something that I've always had a hard time doing.

So I've got pictures of Finn

because he's coming to live with me soon

and I'm so excited about it.

And some unicorns because they make me feel so happy

and magical.

I also have a couple of art pieces

by one of my favorite artist's on Instagram right now,

Mari Andrew.

She does some pretty simple sketches

that are just so packed with meaning

about relationships and loneliness and life.

The last section is "Worthy of Love,"

which fits pretty well with my recent video

"How to Love Your Body."

I've gotta get to a place of loving myself

the way that I am.

This means as a single lady,

when I thought I was going to be married,

as a not-as-skinny or young as I used to be lady,

as a person who only has so much time on this earth

and doesn't have time for extraneous worrying,

something I have to constantly remind myself of

and as you'll see in big letters,

"You are good enough."

Also, one big inspiration for me is another Instagrammer,

Megan Crabbe, also known as BodyPosiPanda.

I really love this photo of her

where she's doing a Pin-Up photo shoot and looks so glam

and she's sitting in a chair like a normal person

and you can see her belly rolls.

This is a pretty revolutionary thing for me

when I first found her and other Bopo Instagramers.

It's definitely something I needed to see.

Because being kind to myself and loving myself

for the way that I am

is something I have a hard time doing most of the time.

Wooooh, that's it.

It's definitely different than last year

but I'm super excited to have made it

and it makes me so happy when I look at it

and I think it will serve as a really good reminder

for me on where I want my focus to be this year.

Oh, and I also wanted to note,

because I had this concern last year

about using up all of your expensive printer ink

and I totally get that!

Which is why I send my files to a printing service

like Office Depot, and then go pick them up.

So this whole board only cost me less than $3.

So never fear, even making a giant board like this

is totally affordable.

For the question today,

I wanna know which of my four focuses this year

is something that you think you might need in your life too.

Lemme know down in the comments.

Ooo, also something fun,

I designed these four inspirational quotes,

square things and I wanted to make a print out for you

so there's a link in the description,

if you want to print them out

and get started on your own vision board.

Remember that you can check me out

on these other social media sites.

Instagram is of course my favorite.

And you'll be seeing a lot more of Finn

because he's coming to live with me soon.

I'm so excited

I hope this video made ya smile

and if it did, remember to subscribe and

and hit that notification bell so ya know exactly when a new video pops in!

And I'll see you guys next Thursday! Bye!(blows kiss)

Comparison Arches Watercolor Paper - Duration: 25:43.

Hi this is Annamoon

Instead of a new tutorial I compare these watercolor papers for you

Let's start

Here you can see the texture

the hot pressed paper is even, the cold pressed paper a bit rough and the rough is rough :-)

I start with a simple paint area

Do you see the small fluffs?

if it's dry they disappear

but I don't like it with the hot pressed

the same test with the cold pressed

same amount of water and paint

and I see no fluffs, only the paper structure

the paint runs very nice

the paint spreads out immediately, now I have clear water

the paint spreads so nicely to he water, it looks evenly

later you see a smooth transition

now the rough paper

great, the paint looks rich on the paper

clear water

On the rough paper I painted a bit more wet than the cold pressed

but nevertheless a smooth transition on the rough paper.

the hot pressed looks ugly for me

I start with the masking fluid

I use a fine tip applicator for this

the masking fluid is from Schmincke, I thinned it a bit

on the hot pressed I can draw evenly lines with it

On the cold pressed it is a bit difficult because of the structure

on the rough paper it is unimpossible to draw even lines

the lines will be at the end a bit broken

I let the masking fluid dry

I start with the wet in wet technique

there is a bit too much water, I remove it

how nicely it moves

the paint flows along the paper fibers

looks nice

dabbing creates more effects than a line

a bit more fluid paint

I like it

we will test the same on the cold pressed

same amount of water

It is a bit out of focus, but you can still see the beautiful paint flow

I could watch this for hours :-)

nice, I like this

I try to draw lines, but they will dissapeared at the end

I can say that I liked the cold pressed a bit better than the hot pressed

dabbing the paint, It looks nicely like the cold pressed

I use Schmincke Horadam Watercolors

the brush is from da Vinci no 6, it is a synthetic brush

I like the edges

all 3 together

the hot pressed is spread over the paper and the others still having a structure

I speed up the video a bit

this is not a tree tutorial

only a test for fine lines

the vertical lines are in normal speed

on the hot pressed the lines are clean

you can see on the branches that the lines are a bit unevenly, but that it is a nice effect

you can draw thin lines but they are not so clean

on the rough paper it is more difficult

it is nearly unimpossible to draw a straight line, because of the structure

all 3 together

we are going back to the dried masking fluid

you can see the fluffs again

they will dissapear but they are disturbing me

oh you can see the nice structure

I like to paint on the rough and the cold pressed

at the summary I forgot completely the dry brush part

on the hot pressed there are nearly no structures with a dry brush

you have small structures on the cold pressed paper

with those structures you can paint easily lakes with sun reflections

and on the rough paper I like the structure most

I will dampen the brush a bit

too damp

It looks beautiful

here you can compare

I do the eraser test

I expect destroyed paper

But there are no wounds or marks on the paper

the same test on the cold pressed

I see no marks, I can't believe it

more wet paint, I see no marks

now the rough paper

And again I don't see any wounds and marks

Now I have watercolor paper with no cotton

It is Britannia from Hahnemühle

I could see some wounds on the blank paper

and with the paint you can see how the wounds appear

do you see the eraser line

I would not have thought, that the cotton paper is so strong

now we will remove paint with a damp brush

at first a line and then scrubbing on a point

you can remove the paint, not really good but you can a bit

now the cold pressed

this works a bit better

now the rough paper

this seems to be more difficult

I try again

it is more difficult

all 3 together

I remove the masking fluid

at the hot pressed and the cold pressed I can easily remove it

I have to work a bit more on the rough paper

you can see on the rough and the cold pressed the uneven lines

the next test is the glazing or layering

for this test I paint areas with ultramarine blue

I like to paint on the cold pressed and rough paper, it looks so beautiful

with one step the paint flows smoothly

the paint is dried and I paint over it with lemon yellow

too less pigments I take more yellow

The blue is lifting

we will see the result in some minutes

I do the same on the other papers

with the first layer all 3 papers are ok

but the crosswise painting looks different on the hot pressed

I paint with clear water on all papers again

the water sinks into the rough paper and the cold pressed there is not a lot of smearing

and on the hot pressed paper there is a big ugly water flower

I tried again the lifting because I was so irritated with the glazing

the lifting is on the cold pressed easier but the glazing works fine,

I could not understand that point in comparison with the hot pressed

I also tried it on the rough paper

the paint sits in the rough paper, lifting is very difficult

you can see it at the end that the paint sits really good in the paper,

because the white spots which you can see on the cold pressed are not visible

I am in love with the rough at this point

all together, the hot pressed is very bad on this test

we will try the salt

I paint an area and let it dry few second

I will do the same on all 3 papers

I let the salt dry, and the result of this test is on the summary at the end

I have the feeling that the paint sits on top of the hot pressed and sinks into the other both papers

now we test the blending

I try hardly to blend the colors on the hot pressed

I show the result in few minutes

the same tests with the other papers

as you can see, I need much less time on the cold pressed to blend the colors

it works on the first try

at this point I expected a hard line when the paper is dry

but that will not happen

the last test is the scratching test

I hate those fluffs on the hot pressed

with those fluffs I have the feeling that my brush is dirty

a bit damper

and the scratching

now the papers are dry

I removed the salt

I will give you a summary

let's start with the simple painted area

there are waterflowers on the hot pressed

I tried to do the same on all papers, first paint and then water

the cold pressed and the rough have smooth transitions

but there are generally those white spots with the cold pressed and the hot pressed

the rough paper does not have those spots

masking fluid, the hot pressed is very smooth and even

It was easy to paint those fine lines

the structure on the cold pressed and the rough prevent to draw fine lines

the lifting I explain in few minutes

I like the paint flow on all the papers

But there is a bit more structur on the rough and the cold pressed

maybe I had used too much water on the hot pressed

details

smooth paper makes smooth lines,

it is hard to draw thin and clean lines on the structured papers

But I think those rough lines are great for branches

I tried to lift the paint a second time

I have the feeling that the cold pressed is the easiest paper to lift and the rough is the hardest to lift

the same results on the violet

I change the papers

eraser test

on watercolor papers with no cotton you have marks after using the eraser

the water and the pigments are sitting on this wounds

cotton paper is strong enough to handle the eraser

Maybe there a bit but it may be due on the paint

I don't see any wounds on the paper

you could erase thin pencil lines on cotton paper

all 3 areas are equally good

Glazing

this result is terrible

and this two results are good

I treated all 3 areas equally

But here is a huge water edge

the hot pressed paper dries too fast for me

If this paper is wet, the paint settles and it stays moist longer with the equal amount of water

Working with salt worked equally well in all 3. It formed beautiful crystals.

blending colors

The color gradient is ok, but the paper is dried too fast here again

Although I had worked here quickly, an edge appears.

Here the color gradient is fantastic

I think I made a mistake with the paint on the rough paper. But the hard line that I have seen during the painting is disappeared

the rough paper has more vivid colors

With scratching on wet paint you can create this dark lines

It works equally on all papers

generally the paint on the rough paper is better

My conclusion

I am able to live without the cold pressed.

because the structure and the working comfort I have also on the rough paper but without those white spots

I don't need the cold pressed paper

The hot pressed I would use for relatively dry paints and paintings with details

Or maybe if I want to work with watercolor pencils

For landscapes with a lot of brushwork and wet areas I would highly recommend this rough watercolor paper from Arches

That's all for today

Next week I will upload a new rock painting tutorial

Solo Trip to Japan: Last Day Before Going Home | Japaniku episode 20 - part 2 (Ikutree) - Duration: 28:28.

Hey guys. This is not comfortable.

Almost dropped my tea

Welcome to day two in Hakone

I left super early this morning. So early in fact that absolutely nothing is open yet

So now I'm in Gora

I took a little train through the mountains, it was really cute

Really nice

I'm going to go see if the park is open this morning

I'm climbing up this hill

And I haven't had breakfast yet

So if I'm out of breath and I faint, you know why

Hopefully this is the right way also

So I left the hostel around 7:30

Ish

Walked to the station

Took a little train through the mountains, it was really cute

Terminal is Gora

Where you can transfer for the cable way

But I'm going to see if I can find the park

I just bought myself some hot tea. Just love that you can get hot beverages

Jeez

I'm dying

How is this so steep?

Anyway going to see if the park is open, long story short

I do need to get back to Tokyo

Not too late today as I've mentioned which is why I'm trying to get an early start

Let me show you this hill because

Jeez

It doesn't seem like much

But it's pretty steep

This is Gora Gardens

Opens...

Hm , I hope it's at 9

We'll see

Because there it says at 10

But on the big board it says 9

And they just opened the grate. The grate?

The grid?

The gate. Oh my God

So I just had a quick breakfast and now I'm going to see if I can enter with my Free Pass

Of course I start filming next to a waterfall so you can't hear me

This is a little tropical flora area

In a little greenhouse

It's really cute

I'm most amazed by these gigantic leaves

These things

Look at the size of these

Woah

What are those?

Ah you can't even see them properly

Hang on, let me see if I can show you

Right there between the leaves

What are those?

So pretty

And sunny

And warm

Let's get away

Look at this little square

It's cute

I'm in another country with a little terrace

And a little fountain

Little cafes

And then the view. Which is disappearing but you'll see when I climb back up there

There are so many different ways as usual

And it makes me scared that I'm going to miss something

Ok there we go

There we go

I'm so happy that I get to see some of the red leaves

Before I go. They're just starting to change

Look at that view baby

What's cool about this garden is that even though it's autumn getting close to winter

You still get some nice things to see, nice plants

Not in full bloom

I expect that this place must look absolutely gorgeous in spring and in summer

But the red leaves on the mountain are really pretty

Now it's time for the transfer from the cable car to the rope way

And since it's above I think a volcano or there's volcanic activity

They give you a mask to protect yourself

And it's going to smell of sulfur, I can already smell it now

And sometimes they suspend it if it gets too much

Luckily I only have to go one way because I'm doing the loop and then I'm going to the lake

So looks like I'm going to be lucky

Going to wear my little mask

It feels humid, maybe it's a humid thing

We'll see

Very excited

Ok! I know I start everything with a 'ok' or a 'so'

But ok, so

Here I am at Owakudani, hope I'm saying that right

And here is a frigging volcano (volcanic valley)

Right there, right behind me

And the thing to do here is to eat an egg that has been hard boiled

Over here. It's a black egg

So after this I'm going to check that out

But first I want to see and soak up this view

The crowd has come

Good thing I'm already half way through the activities I think

As I've mentioned, the thing to do here is to get some black eggs

They're sold by five so I'm going to have to eat five eggs by myself throughout the day

It'll probably be my meal

Here they are, nice and warm

And I'm going to try and eat these in front of the camera even though, well you see the crowds here

It's going to be a little difficult to peel the eggs and everything but I'm still going to show you

This is a black egg

And they're hot right now

Gonna peel this one and have a taste

See you in a minute

Here goes guys

It tastes actually quite nice

I can't tell if it's that different but it has a nice flavour to it

It's just a real nice black hard boiled egg

This will be my meal throughout the day I think

I'm going to see if there are other typical

Odawa..kuni? Dani? (Owakudani) Damn it I can't remember the name

Souvenirs back in there but my priority was to get these eggs

You know what I really like?

Those seats

They're so cute!

Everybody here is enjoying their egg

I'm going to see what's over there

Cuz I'm a little curious

Just going to say hello to Hello Kitty again

So I guess you can't really hike up there anymore. I don't know if it's recent

But I know that the volcanic activity has been

Higher?

Jeez I can't find the word

For a months or even a few years now so it might have been closed for a long time

It would have been fun regardless but never mind

I don't know what I'll do now. Maybe I'll go the the lake already?

We shall see

Maybe have another egg?

There's a bunch of food over there but it's not translated into English

So even though it looks really yummy I don't have a clue what it is

I don't know guys

Maybe I can translate?

I've had that one before. I don't want sausage

Bacon

Coffee and milk?

Maybe, I've been craving coffee

Maybe that one. Number 13 looks good but how much is it?

I just had a coffee

I'm not supposed to have any coffee but I was really craving one today

And now I'm about to have

These

Which are roasted onigiri

Onigiri again. I know, I'm crazy for these things

And.. what was I saying?

Roasted onigiri in soy sauce

And I came in here because it's nice and warm. It's getting kind of cold up here!

And after that I'll move on

Let's try this one

It's really good

Simple, hot rice, soy sauce

Slightly grilled I think

Good, quite good. I'm enjoying that

See you in a minute

Kurotama Neko (Nyanko)

So cute

I'm back on the rope way

Queuing for the rope way to go to Lake Ashinoko

It says right there but I had to look for it

Still can't remember any of the names

Been here too long, too many names

And after the lake, I think there's a shrine, a cedar walk and then I think it's back to the station

I think there's a cruise across the lake or around the lake depending on the weather

And then you can see another floating gate and then there's a shrine as I've mentioned

Let's stop talking and I'm going to show you but since I was here waiting I thought I'd keep you up to date

With every body watching me

Vlog

Got a white one this time!

Can you even say 'I'm on a boat' anymore?

Without.. you know what I mean

Anyway, I am on a boat. A big pirate ship looking thing

And yeah everyone is boarding

I expect that a ton more people are about t o get on here

Look at those people on the little boats

I want to do that

That's so much more fun

You know how I was saying -well even complaining a little yesterday

That I was really tired and that I wished that I had an extra day in Tokyo instead of coming to Hakone

I put my foot in my mouth for that one

I take it back completely

The volcano, the cruise

The rope way, the onsen... definitely all worth it

Even though it does put me in a bit of a rush to get back to Tokyo and everything

But definitely worth it. I'm going to stay here

So I can save my spot while we cruise out on the open Ashinoko Lake

Over there you have the floating gate. Gonna try and zoom in for ya

Over there. Before the ship goes right in front of it

There it is

This is my last destination before I go back to Tokyo

This is all twisted

Here behind me you have the lake again

With the floating gate which I have just shown you

And I'm going to head to the Hakone Shrine

This is going to be my last stop then I'm going to take

Probably the bus I think. I don't know which way is the best way

The bus back to the station

And then a train back to Tokyo

This is where I've just been

All the way up there

You can see the cable car

Right there

The ship over there is the cruise I've just been on

And I'm completing the circle

By going to the shrine which is I think over there

That big gate there is probably the entrance to the shrine

Yeah that will have been my stay

It's a good thing I started early

This morning started with the park

It's a nice loop. I think it's the classic loop that I did so

I'm going to stop here because I like the view and I want to get a few photos in

And then from where I arrived I took the bus for one, no a few stops to

The place I'm going to insert here. It sounds like Moto something

So I'm giving myself a clue while editing (thanks)

It's Moto something something

Yeah

Hope you find it

And here we have the floating gate I want to take a photo of now

I like this view

The view is real nice

It's pretty, it's a nice day, I'm very happy

Last day here in Japan

I'm actually really sad

Of course Hakone is a place where you can do so many more things

You can have the real Ryokan experience which I hope to do one day

You can have more of the onsen experience except if you have tattoos

You have to research places, it's kind of complicated. I was lucky to find the place

I went to yesterday

Or you can go to K's House, they have an onsen. I haven't checked it out though so I don't know what it's worth

But the one I went to yesterday was really cool

Anyway guys, I hope you enjoyed this trip to Japan

I loved it, seriously I don't want to leave

I really don't want to leave at all

Yeah this is definitely the way to the shrine

I'll chat with you guys later

Until then, let's enjoy this last attraction, last spot here

Oh my God

Let's enjoy it

Where am I going to set you up?

Let's start with a view from the lake and then we'll climb up there

I just did a really good gratitude prayer

And then yeah this was my last spot

I guess I'm done here

I'm done

I don't know if this is it for the vlog itself

I might have a few more pieces of footage if I come across anything interesting

Or if I want to vlog anything else back in Tokyo

But for now, just in case

Thanks for watching and, you know, I l-word you all

Can't wait for you guys to see this, can't wait to get all these videos up for you

And relive my experience to Japan

Thanks for watching

And see you guys soon!

This is not the end of my Youtube channel by the way

At all

This is just for now

Bye for now, see you back in Belgium

For new adventures!

This little pathway is really cool. Maybe I'll go back that way

Yeah I don't know what to say

Almost missed it guys!

Yeah I'm back again

Almost missed this little path

Down to the floating gate

Let's not die. Almost did

This is really cool!

Let's perch ourselves up here

And queue up

For this little wonder here

I'm between the gates

I queued and now everybody is looking at me doing this

But totally worth the view

Out here in the water

So this is officially my last spot now

I think. Not sure

Say bye to Japan now

Going back home

I'm glad to say that I just vlogged that last clip

In front of everyone

And I would've never done that before this trip, I would've never done that back in Belgium

Back in Brussels

And now

I'm in a foreign country

With tons of people staring at me doing this

And I can do it

I'm fine with it

And that's amazing

Hey from Narita airport guys

Woah my voice

I have spoken today though

Anyway I made it to the airport

I took a bus this time. I don't know why I didn't take the bus the first time

I just followed the standard route and took the Narita Express

Oh yeah that's why I took the Narita Express: it was covered by my JR Pass

But on the way back the Narita Express would've cost me about 3000 yen I think

And the bus was like a 1000 yen so

Thank God I went to the information center

And sorted everything out

So I'm at my gate

I believe this may be my plane

Over there

Well I am like over two hours early as always

So it could be somebody else's plane

And yeah, I spent the last of my yen, I had 210 yen left

And this onigiri was exactly 210 yen

My very last onigiri in Japan

And I don't even know what flavour this is

Least flattering angle

Just a sec, I'm going to open this up

Oh no

Looks like that egg thing

I had that at a restaurant once and I found it really gross so hopefully this will be ok

Come with me

See, it's got this eggy texture thing

I'll have a go

It's the same as at that restaurant

I really don't like it

I escaped it until now

Oh my God no

No no

I'm going to enjoy this as much as I can. Maybe eat around the

What is it? It's like cod roe or something. I don't know my fish

Gonna eat this

And enjoy the view of Narita airport

How to Make Mac and Cheese | Easy Creamy Macaroni and Cheese Recipe - Duration: 5:50.

How to make mac and cheese easy creamy macaroni and cheese recipe

Hello and welcome back to In the Kitchen with Matt, I am your Host Matt Taylor, today I

am going to show you how to make an amazing mac and cheese, yummy.

This macaroni and cheese recipe is super creamy super delicious, really easy to do, if I can

do it, you can do it, let's get started.

First go ahead and preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. and put the rack on the upper middle

rack.

And now also, down below in the description, you are going to find all the ingredients,

for this recipe as far as the measurements and what not, so we take our blender here

and we are going to add our cottage cheese this is one cup of cottage cheese, go ahead

and add that in there, scrape it out, make sure to get all of it in there, and then we

are going to add our milk I am using, whole milk, 2 cups, 16 ounces, add mustard powder,

add our pepper, our nutmeg, and add our salt.

All right and let's just go ahead and blend this all together, for about thirty seconds

we just want to make sure, the cottage cheese is well blended with our milk and other spices.

Now we come over to pan, you want a 9 inch round or square pan, um or you can use a 10

inch, I am using this pan which can go in the oven, which I really love this pan.

Now go ahead and take one of your tablespoons of butter, and we are going to just put it

in there, and then with our fingers, just go ahead and butter this thing really nice,

really cool and then you can just leave the leftover pieces of butter in there like that.

And now what we want to do is we want to add about half of our cheese, now you could do

all this in a big bowl first and mix it around, but it is find just to do it like this, and

then add our macaroni, now I am using the bigger macaroni, you can use the small one

if you like, I like to use the big ones.

Now go ahead and take our milk mixture, and then the rest of our cheese.

And we want to take this, we just want to combine it all, really well.

Like I said you can do all of this in a larger bowl, if you like.

Ok and then you just push it down, and that is read to go.

And now what we want to do is we want to cover this, very tightly with some foil, isn't this

awesome we don't have to precook our macaroni, it is going to cook while inside the liquid,

and the cheese, and it is going to be awesome, so it is really nice that you don't have to

precook your pasta.

Go ahead and cover this really well, with foil.

And then now let's pop this in the oven for 30 minutes, and then after that we have more

steps to do, all right after 30 minutes let's go ahead and take our pan out of the oven,

we are going to take off our foil, and then we are going to come in here and stir, gently,

oh yeah this is looking amazing, and then now what we are going to do is we are going

to take our remaining tablespoon of butter, and we are just going to put it on top like

so, and then we are going to take our fourth cup of cheese and put it on top.

And now we are going to put this back in the oven uncovered for another 25 to 30 minutes,

and it is going to get nice and brown on top.

All right once we take it out of the oven it is going to look like this, golden brown

on the top.

Oh yeah, and now to top this off, I am going to come in here with some bacon bits, go ahead

and let this rest for at least 15 minutes before serving.

The mac and cheese has been sitting for about 15 minutes, time to serve me up some, I am

going to show you what it looks like oh yeah, look at that yummy.

All right our Mac and Cheese is done, it turned out awesome, it is really easy to do, simple

ingredients, if I can do it, you can do it, I am Matt Taylor this has been another episode

of In the Kitchen with Matt, thank you for joining me, as always if you have any questions

or comments put them down below and I will get back to you as soon as I can, thumbs up,

Things To Do In San Francisco - Filbert Steps (Hidden Gems) - Duration: 1:12.

The filbert steps are one of San Francisco's hidden gems.

Take this long,

narrow staircase to the top of Telegraph Hill.

There are hundreds of steps and

along the way, you'll walk by many beautiful gardens and pass interesting

houses.

You might even see telegraph hill's famous parrots.

When you get to the

top of the filbert steps, keep going until you reach Coit tower.

Named after a

socialite named Lillie Hitchcock Coit, stories say the tower is shaped like a

fire hose nozzle due to Lily's friendship with the city's firefighters.

Here you can climb to the top of the tower or just enjoy some more views of
