STOP EPIDEMICS FROM HAPPENING AND FIGHT BACK AGAINST EPIDEMICS

AND THE SPREAD OF DISEASE AND THINGS LIKE THAT BUT THEY MAY

NOT BE DOING IT FOR THAT MUCH LONGER UNFORTUNATELY BECAUSE IT

LOOKS LIKE THE MONEY IS RUNNING OUT AND THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT

WANT TO PAY ANYMORE.

CDC PROGRAMS THAT ARE STATED TO BE

TAKEN OUT ARE PART OF A GLOBAL INITIATIVE THAT TRAINS WORKERS

AND OUT BREAK TREATMENT AND CONTAINMENT ALL OF THAT.

THE

REASON WE HAVE THESE PROGRAMS IS BECAUSE BACK DURING THE 2014

EBOLA SCARE BARACK OBAMA AND THE GOVERNMENT PUT $6 MILLION INTO

THE CDC

SO THEY COULD GO TO THESE COUNTRIES ON THE FRONTLINES

AGAINST THESE DISEASES AND TRAIN PEOPLE TO FIGHT THEM, SET UP

OPERATIONS IN INSTITUTIONS AND THINGS LIKE THAT AND NOW

APPARENTLY, THEY ARE HAVING TO GO OUT THERE AND TELL THEIR

WORKERS THAT WE ARE WINDING DOWN BECAUSE THIS MONEY IS GOING TO

RUN OUT AND WE ARE NOT GOING TO GET ANY MORE EVEN THOUGH THE

TRUMP ADMINISTRATION HAS SAID WE PLAN TO HELP FIGHT THESE

DISEASES, THERE IS NO EXPECTATION THAT THAT MONEY IS

GOING TO COME.

THEY WILL CONTINUE TO OPERATE IN 10

COMPANIES FOR SOME THAT THEY ARE PULLING OUT OF OUR PLACES WHERE

THESE DISEASES ARE A HUGE ISSUE RIGHT NOW EVEN AND CERTAINLY

COULD COME BACK.

IN CHINA, PAKISTAN, HAITI, RWANDA, CONGO.

CONGO JUST LAST YEAR HAD AT BREAKS OF EBOLA BUT THE CDC MICE

DO NOT BE OPERATING THERE ANYMORE AND THE SUPER PRESSURE

ON THE GOVERNMENT TO CONTINUE THE FUNDING.

LOOK, REPUBLICANS THAT SUPPORT DONALD TRUMP I KNOW HAVE

ISSUES WITH UNDERSTANDING SIMPLE FACTS BUT IF EBOLA STARTS IN

CONGO, IT DOES NOT START STAY THERE.

IF ZIKA STARTS IN

CONGO, IT DOESN'T STAY THERE.

IT AFFECTS THE WHOLE WORLD, IT

TRAVELS.

PEOPLE SAY WHO CARES ABOUT CONGO, I KNOW WHAT KIND OF

A COUNTRY THAT IS, TRUMP TOLD ME.

BUT THESE DISEASES SPREAD

SO APPARENTLY WE HAD ENOUGH MONEY TO PUT A 1 1/2 TRILLION

DOLLARS HOLE IN OUR DEFICIT TO GIVE TAX CUTS FOR THE RICH BUT

WE DON'T HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO PREVENT WORLDWIDE DISEASES.

WHAT KIND OF MESSED UP PRIORITIES ARE THOSE IN

WHAT DID WE TELL YOU?

THEY GIVE TAX CUTS FROM THE RICH, THEY HAVE TO TAKE IT FROM

SOMEWHERE AND THEY TOOK IT FROM DISEASE PREVENTION.

THIS IS A

What skills could you learn today to help you get ahead - Duration: 3:22.

- If you're a schoolkid watching this,

which is really cool, because, seeing people want to be

driven and determined at a young age is pretty cool.

I get lots of emails from 15 year olds, 16 year olds,

that are like, I wanna do this, I wanna do that,

and that's very humbling and empowering for me to see.

What skillsets could you be learning today,

in order to get yourself ahead throughout life?

Some of them could be sales skills,

because people get to talk to people,

could be emotional skills, how to deal with life, whatever,

could be monetary skills, you know, you go to school,

you get taught by a teacher that's on a set wage,

that complains that they can't afford a house,

or whatever the case may be.

You know, they're teaching you stuff,

but do they really believe what they're teaching you?

I don't believe any finance

or any economy sort of based education

is coming out of the school.

They might teach you what five dollars

and 10 dollars equals, 15 bucks,

but they're not teaching you how the economy works,

they're not teaching you how you can get ahead,

because they're not doing it themselves.

Being healthy, being passionate about your interests,

you know, like there are certain interests out there

that are beyond me,

whether you wanna be the best sports player in the world,

whether you wanna be the best musician in the world,

or whether you wanna be whatever,

just make sure that you're being yourself,

by doing everything you can to get there.

Business skills, you know,

there's lots of people out there nowadays with businesses.

And there's probably never been such an easier

or better time to be able to get into a business,

for the simple fact that you've got internet, social media,

people are connected, you don't need a storefront,

you don't need to wait two weeks for an ad to go out

in the newspaper, or whatever the case may be.

There's a lot of opportunities out there,

and I think it's, you know,

it's important to follow your passion, follow your dream,

and be able to educate yourself as much as you want.

Sure, it's good to go out there, party, pick up chicks,

drink, and go on the tiki tours,

but is that gonna help you get to where you wanna be,

or is that, you know,

a lot of people fill their life,

you've got eight hours out of 24 hours in a day,

you've got eight hours that you sleep,

eight hours you go to work or school

or whatever the case may be,

and eight hours where you're brushing your teeth,

playing some video games, doing some Snapchats,

you know, swiping on Tinder,

but if you actually hone in on those hours

while you're watching Game of Thrones

or Netflix and chillin', and be able to, you know,

spend that time educating yourself.

I, in my sleeping patterns, I actually put Youtube videos on

in all different facets of life,

whether it be from quantum physics,

whether it be understanding all the books

that are out there in the world,

whether it be understanding electricity,

whether it be understanding, you know,

certain different topics, space, whatever, history,

I play Youtube videos while I'm asleep

and go into a half-sleep, so I still listen

and comprehend what I'm listening to, but I'm still asleep.

How can you pack that education in your day

to get ahead in life?

And most people just go, oh fuck it,

I wanna go down and have a drink and, you know,

chat up some chicks or play footy

or whatever the case may be.

I mean, that's fine, but, you know,

if you're focusing all your energy on that,

then don't expect to get ahead.

So that's my view on that.

receive not because we don't ask and a lot of times when we ask we're asking

amiss or we're asking for wrongly club excuse me excuse me my

words all tongue-tied but we're asking for the wrong reasons we're asking for

things that you know may not be exactly what we need

now that sounds pretty harsh the same but when it comes down to during your

business does your business revolve all around you are you the one that's

benefiting only from your business or does your business help serve others

does it supply a need see I didn't understand those things before but I'm

understanding them now because I am living it now I have been asking for a

business that would really and truly help anybody that I came across I asked

for products that could help anyone that I came across now yes yes I will have to

say I did have a business before that did help people tremendously but they

could not a lot of them within my communities see the value of what I was

presenting to them and then they looked at the cost and figured that it wasn't

something that they wanted to spend their money on however now I have found

something that actually has a great value to it but on top of that it

supplies a need and when it comes down to the business

opportunity it can help any and everyone then I come across whether male or

female because they're gonna know males and females that can benefit from this

so I go back and I ask when you're asking are you not receiving what you

asked for because your motives are not in the

right place hmm something to think about if you're

and he said he didn't realize until he went to the Neighbours Day website that

Neighbours Day was actually required him to take some action.

Sam: yeah that's right Cissy: yeah! So Neighbours Day is about YOU

Sam: that's right and we have four different ways that you can

take action a 'BBQ on the Berm' Cissy: I can kind of get to know my neighbours without

having to clean up my house Sam: That's right! It's a pretty low-key way, it's

pretty easy, doesn't require a lot of setup Cissy:and you have seen my house!

Sam: I haven't seen your house! Cissy: Oh it's very messy!

Sam: Oh ok! Or if you are

in a inner city apartment you could do the Fiesta between the floors

Cissy:Or maybe two organizations Sam: Inviting the the people around you

Cissy: Yeh, a cup of tea and some bickies Sam: Pop-ups in the Park

Cissy: now I'm glad you mentioned that because I was talking to a friend who runs a

community organization, who says every year how they do something for neighbours day

but they wanted to do something that kinda lived on, and I said I've got

just the thing for you - a community pantry, like making your own little

community pantry. So groups of people to come together pop up in this public

place and leave something there, that was a legacy. Sam: and that's kind of what you did last year...

Cissy: It is! AND I've made a little video that we could show at the end of this

Sam: Great! And then the fourth event is the wild card event for people who maybe they

want to do something bit more unique seed swaps, or a movie night,

Cissy: Neighborhood scavenger hunt Sam: crisis planning events and things like that

Cissy: Oh for emergency management Sam: Or the Zombie apocalypse

Cissy: The zombie apocalypse!

Sam:We've got a whole lot of people who have registered their events all across the country and

it'd be good to see that popping up more and more Cissy: 'Cause you know what, we've got media

looking for people to cover and see events to go to, so if you've registered

your event you know, who knows? You could be the next media star! So register your

events come to the hui, and no matter what just make sure that you're having

some fun connecting with someone. Sam: That's right.
