99% of you will not learn English unless ... - Duration: 13:32.

Hi there, Vladimir here with another video about how to learn English

This should be interesting

99% of you watching this video will not learn English

99% of you who have subscribed to a YouTube channel about learning English

will never learn English

The moment you hit that subscribe button is the moment you become a hobbyist

is the moment learning English becomes entertainment

is the moment you join the 99%

is the moment you will never master the language

Most people go on YouTube for 2 reasons:

Entertainment and Education

Entertainment is: music, comedy, sports, games, vlogs, and all that jazz

Education is usually "how to" videos

how to make sushi,

how to change your tire,

how to lose weight,

how to snowboard

and so on and so forth

YouTube is the second most visited website in the world

Can you learn English on YouTube?

Yes and No

No, if the videos you watch are about learning English

videos of people calling themselves language teachers

teaching you English

Yes, if you read daily

and supplement your reading watching videos about your hobbies and interests,

like movies,

TV chat shows

something you need for your job,

videos about how to use excel

or how to sell or self-publish on Amazon

how to give a presentation

The thing is, the moment you subscribe to an education type of channel,

HOW TO type of channel

is the moment you become a hobbyist,

you start looking at the subject you are trying to learn as a hobby

entertainment

You adopt this passive mindset of "give me" instead of "I take"

"teach me" instead of "I learn"

When I look at the subscription history of some of my subscribers,

I weep

All the usual suspects

I never understood this:

"subscribe to my channel" thing everybody says at the end or beginning of their videos

Subscribing only makes sense if we talk about entertainment

You wait for your favorite Youtuber's next vlog,

the same way you wait for the next Games of Throne episode

wait for the next chunk of entertainment

But that's not the right mindset if you want to learn something,

become really good at something

You don't passively wait, you don't wait to be taught

You get active

You google it if you have a question,

read about it,

watch a HOW TO video on YouTuve

and start doing it

That is how I learn to snowboard,

watched a few videos for beginner snowboarders,

learned from their advice

and started doing it

It is how I started my YouTube channel,

watched a few videos about how to set up a YouTube channel

camera and microphone reviews, lighting, editing software

and started doing it

here I am, 3 years later

But I did not subscribe

why would I subscribe?

I like the video

and share it

and I might save it in a playlist

but never subscribe

The moment you subscribe it all becomes entertainment

and this is especially true of learning a foreign language

Why would you subscribe,

passively wait for the next piece of advice from your favorite English teacher

latest technique, next set of phrasal verbs, idioms, grammar rules,

pronunciation nonsense

the next portion, next English serving

It doesn't make sense,

you are not a child

you don't passively wait,

you don't passively wait to be taught

you become active

You start reading

One of the most important things about learning a foreign language is Context

it is something I talk about a lot in my book Virtually Native

Context is King

you can't remember without context

English learning videos on YouTube lack context

How long have you been subscribed to all those YouTube channels?

How many videos have you watched so far?

How many hours have you spent on YouTube so far?

How is your English?

nobody has ever learned a foreign language watching youtube videos

of people calling themselves language teachers

BTW, Facebook business is the same, all those likes and followings

What about me?

What about this channel?

No exceptions

Every single video I make is designed to wean you off YouTube videos

of people calling themselves language teachers

because nobody has ever learned a foreign language watching YouTube videos

of talking heads calling themselves language teachers

Never, ever

I would never ask you to subscribe

I would never tell you to try iTalky, Duolingo, Rosetta Stone

You will never see ads on my channel,

not at the beginning not at the bottom

not on the side, not anywhere.

All my videos revolve around a few simple ideas:

English is not a hobby

You need to read a lot

You need to use monolingual learners dictionaries

You need to stop listening to language teachers

who have not mastered a foreign language themselves

You don't really need a teacher,

the only way to learn a foreign language is to do it alone

well, almost, you need a system of learning, you need a method,

That is why all my videos end with me pitching my book Virtually Native

a book which gives you that method,

a tried and tested method.

Virtually every video I make is an excerpt from my book,

where everything is organized and systematized.

We learn by actively reading, not passively watching videos

99% of you watching this video will not master English

The fight/battle is for the 1%

Here is what you need to do

Here is what you need to do if you want to learn English:

You need to unsubscribe

If you are new to this channel don't subscribe,

YouTube is addictive

Google wants to keep you on YouTube as much as possible,

I wanna keep you away, as far away as possible

if you are serious about learning English, you need to unsubscribe

Like your favorite video or videos,

please like and share,

but don't subscribe

Don't waste your time watching language teachers"on YouTube,

don't be passive

don't wait to be taught

Read instead,

read and use monolingual dictionaries,

read and listen to interesting content and use monolingual dictionaries

And I suggest you start with my book Virtually Native

Read the book slowly and carefully,

and get on with your life

The fight/battle is for the 1%

Virtually Native is available on Amazon and virtuallynative.com

LEGO Avengers Infinity War Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown review! 76108 - Duration: 21:00.

hello everyone this is the Lego Marvel superheroes sanctum sanctorum showdown

set and set itself may contain some spoilers for the infinity war movie so

if you don't want any spoilers for that movie be sure to not watch videos like

this that are about infinity war stuff also please be sure to check out the

pinned comment on the video before you comment yourself now the building I

would say is almost as nice as it looks at first glance this was given a lot of

care in its design almost on the level of the creator expert modular building

it's got a new print for the window up there and a lot of texture and detail

and changes of subtle colors so it looks pretty realistic with just a very modest

number of stickers that are used I think just where they're needed only the left

half of the building is dedicated to the sanctum sanctorum itself with this right

half representing the building where Peter Parker has his apartment and that

is situated above peppe's pizza with the very lego of fide sticker and branding

there's also a little bit of side street or alleyway here with a few references

built into that with the help of the stickers and you get a number of web

elements with a combination of stickers and physical items and I need to show

you how some of those actually work with action features for example this web up

here can be grabbed onto by a figure and then pulled down which causes the window

at the front to break out and you can knock a bad guy off that way this

doesn't really qualify as an action feature per se but you can bring the

second fire escape ladder down and this is one of the better-looking and better

working fire escapes I think that Lego is put onto a building because it's

pretty simple to actually just place a figure there without even having them

set up to perfectly they don't get attached to anything but they give you

plenty of space to put a figure there you can also attach hands to these bars

really easily it looks good and I think it works well for play this one's pretty

clever and useful I think you can place a figure just right here and there's a

button that you can push from behind on the roof that will push that figure off

and then he's attached on the web there and that web can let him down they

actually integrated this winch system for this string into the water tower up

there so the water tower is where the web gets connected and you can actually

pull your figure back up if you want to show them kind of climbing and does take

a second to do that because you need to turn it quite a bit but it's it's nicely

integrated you can just leave off that web piece if you want and if you just

let go it kind of lets him down slowly which is fun to watch down at the ground

level there's also a second window that can be blown out by just pushing in

another one of these buttons just push that straight and out it pops here's the

thing that's not so great about this set though it's the depth it's very thin as

viewed from the side I mean it's you know pretty impressive from here and

it's the full length of an entire baseplate plus just a little bit if you

include the corner bit but from the side I mean you mostly have just a six stud

with including the front fascia and the wall there so not that much real

substance to it behind however they did make the best use I feel that they

possibly could of that room and you can put figures into pretty much every one

of these individual rooms and spaces here starting again on the sanctum

sanctorum side this is the lobby the ground-floor entrance with us ticker

with a scroll on the wall over there and just a couple of weapons I like that

little little classic seat there because it's built with a kind of preformed Lego

chair piece in its base and then they do brick building around that for a little

bit of a hybrid thing there's the second floor up above and this actually has an

action feature built into the bookcase there is a little bit of a hiding space

more weapons chests that can be opened that has even more weapons still with a

couple more daggers or fighting knives there I like the selection of stickers

throughout this set they're really well done I think and appropriate and

tasteful I'm actually going to come back to the action feature for the bookcase

I'll get to that later and here's the topmost room with a couple more

bookcases on the sides got a skull there it looks like

they don't have the brand-new candle mold available just yet or they surely

would have used that but given the amount of space that is here I think

that they did a good job of kind of getting the feel of the place and still

leaving some open studded area on the floor again to put some figures in there

there's not much room on the roof of the sanctum sanctorum to pose figures but

you can put them on there just one foot at a time so you can have a little bit

of a confrontation like that or you can have them facing outward toward you for

the sake of display you know out towards the street or in either direction so

it's it's good enough but I personally prefer to have more space like they have

here over Peter Parker's apartment that's much better the watertower build

is a little bit flimsy and how it's attached given just how it's it's kind

of extended up from the base and has the frictionless pin connections there but

like I said the windlass function does work really nice for play with the the

windup long string that's done in white there with the studs at either end and

then down below we get to the interior of the in part of the apartment I think

this is the first time they've done a bed exactly like this using the new 2x3

tiles so you get a three stud wide bed which gives you a little more usable

space and having no studs on there means that it's easier to just place a figure

there there's a look at the sticker with some things attached to Peter Parker's

wall and there's actually an action feature in this open space with a

trapdoor there and there's a knob on the front of the building that you just pull

out and then that will fall through here's the room below with a couple

cardboard boxes only the top one has a sticker on it I think this is the first

time Lego has tried to make one of those old Macs in one of its sets I might be

mistaken on that but the sticker looks really good there for the screen and a

kind of all-in-one encasement but I don't like the build as viewed from the

side you know it's just completely open and then it also overlaps the keyboard

there but this is a nice level of detail a nice number of little things to fit

into such a small space drawing there for the costume and they

have sticker up on the wall with a map and a bunch of notes on that as well

lastly here's the interior of Pippa's pizza with the pizza oven on the left

that has an opening that's large enough to actually fit an entire pizza pie

inside of it that's nice they give you one full pizza pie in this set and two

officially two sliced pieces that large brown thing there is a meat spit for the

meat for schwarmann and you can see the shawarma on the menu up there above and

you have just little checkout register and a fire extinguisher you know there

are always fires in universes like this so this allows maybe a citizen to help

themselves rather than always having to call upon the superheroes now these

buildings aren't really supposed to be directly next to each other like this

and that's why you see a couple of hinges there to allow you to do like

this to separate things out and to create some space in your imaginary play

world and that still allows you to access everything from the interiors but

it really creates these individual buildings now that look pretty good and

you even get a little bit of detail on the the space that was covered up

previously so that's nice that they you know put the extra pieces in there a

little bit of extra effort to make that not look completely plain in that area

that oftentimes will be will be covered up but you know this this is a pretty

good look right here and you can also just close the entire thing up all the

way to make it into one solid building and just imagine that they are on

parallel streets and this doesn't look half bad itself you know they have the

height exactly the same between the two so they kind of merged together pretty

well top to bottom a little bit of change of

color is not bad the overall styling is pretty good and it's just a I think a

decently displayable thing so now that I've closed this up like this I do need

to show you or I've shown you that this can be closed up a team

to show you the last action feature in the the center floor of the sanctum

sanctorum it works by turning this gray knob here and it only works when the

whole building is folded at least 90 degrees in this is another feature that

blows out a window however it also reveals the time stone that is of course

one of the Infinity stones or gems and they've not embedded it into the eye of

agamotto here just because well they wanted to have all the stones

individually presented so you can collect those and then put them into the

Infinity Gauntlet now with any set that includes an infinity stone you get a

full sprue of four of them so if you happen to lose one you're not out of

luck this is nice kind of built in replacement parts and or spares to make

your own stuff speaking of which this set includes two full sets of the power

blast and splat pieces that allow you to set up dynamic kind of comic style

scenes with your figures so identical sets of orange and trans light blue and

all these pieces will attach to figures in various ways because they have bar

sized attachment points on them you put them in hands unit a CH them two legs

and just do whatever you want with them how you choose I love these pieces and I

think they are great for fans of all ages for multiple reasons play and

display looking at the figures here's Doctor Strange with the soft style K

piece for the base but the collar is the harder more papery style to give it that

nice crisp pop to it his hands have accessories that allow all of those

power blast and splat pieces to be conveniently attached as he works his

magic he's got the white paint applications on

the hair there and looking around the back it's pretty easy to see the back

torso print thanks to that nice cloth piece it's pretty well detailed but it's

very subtle with the black against the the dark blue for most of it so

a lot of a lot of lighting conditions won't really show that all that well and

then he also has his second face and there's how that looks in comparison so

just a little bit more serious while he's actually fighting iron spider comes

with his own white colored spider blast pieces and these are the ones that will

actually fire off from the hands by just squeezing in back here off that goes

those work pretty well you see printing on the arm spreading on the other arm as

well I think that that arm printing looks pretty good it's kind of a shame

they didn't go with the dual molded legs here though I think it really really

really could benefit it from those two get that dark blue coming down the side

of the leg between the two between arm printing and dual molded legs I probably

would have gone for a dual molded legs at least the quality of the printing

here is really good it's really sharp you can just see the depth of the ink

you know that's that's actually on it for the raised areas of the black that's

printed on there and the gold is nice and opaque and interesting Lee that's a

that's a cool piece that they used for the the back to hold the arms on there

it just or are they called legs I think I think you consider those to be arms

still it's it's just nice and compact holds everything in real close they

don't stick out too far towards the rear they don't droop down too much I think

it makes sense to use a specialized piece for that rather than using the

standard brackets and then brick building on top of that and you know

gives you decent range motions so you can bring those forward and if you want

you can imagine these tips firing off you can even place something into the

end of this old EXO force arm on each of the the arms there but printing on the

back of the head of course and then nice printing actually on the back of the

torso it's too bad you don't see that most of the time but I think this is

something a lot of people would like to see so leaving off the the rest of the

suit is something that I would recommend if you want to be able to appreciate

this extra design Tony Stark himself is up to mark 48 now in his suit series for

Ironman a little bit more organic looking here I

do like that style it's a little bit different you know it's taking things in

a little bit different direction away from the purely mechanical looks a

little more alien this time around I think that Lego did a pretty good job

here I especially appreciate the the print for the tips of the boots I don't

know why there's something about that that's important to me and then the the

visor is done really well of the visors the eyes you know they're lined which

makes that look again nice and crisp just has really good definition even

from quite a distance makes it look more alive and more glowing got a little bit

of print on the top there as well couple more paint applications the piece that

his feet are attached to is one of those new 1 by 2 rounded plates and so those

have holes in them so you can stick the power blast pieces all the way through

and the be small translucent or transparent light blue pieces that are

down below are also Hollow and there's a normal Tony Stark expression but then

this is a new head piece for him that shows the heads-up display you know as

the camera looks at him says some scratches in it and it's a little bit

awkward that they did put down the full white base coat behind that you know so

it looks like it's it's extra bright and pale I don't know if that could have

been done better you know often times I do complain when

they don't put down enough primer but no I don't know if this was the ideal way

but you see what they were going for at least and when he does have the helmet

on you just pull up on the front kind of see what I feel is is wrong about that

you know because it should have kind of a dark background and here it just looks

really tasty I don't know let me know in the comments what you think about this

one if you think it should have been darker as the base or if you

appreciate the lighter color being used there as kind of a primer to help bring

out some of the details this is ebony maw he kind of looks like

a combination of Snape and Voldemort in the face but I think that Lego has done

a pretty good job of making the face look pretty skinny even though you know

it's just using the same standard size and shape of head mold there the color

is light aqua that they used for that and you know there are different ways

they could have gone with that but it's it's creepy and alien I appreciate that

I like the printing on the torso the hips and the legs they line up really

well the legs could have used just a little bit more opacity you know to make

those a little bit lighter but at least the hips are are lined up really well

and kind of helped to tie things together he comes with his own yellow

colored power blast pieces no alternate face for this one because you need is

not have headgear on good print around the back of the torso it just kind of

kind of matches pretty well yeah I think this is well done for what it is I think

the color of the head the base color is something that's debatable but this is

one of the possible good choices I think they could have made finally here is

cull obsidian and let me tell you the things that I like

first I like the molding for the head and I also like the molding for the

single pauldron on his right our left there I guess I also like the builds for

his dual weapons those also used the relatively new 1 by 2 rounded plate

pieces to a good effect give you a little bit different shape there looks

like a pretty fun thing to play with you know it's it's really designed I think

to capture the imaginations of kids with a very evil look and a very menacing

stance what I don't like oh I also like the subtlety of the difference between

these two colors not sure if that's fully intentional or if those were

trying to match but I think it actually looks better that way but I do think the

body looks a little bit plain to me with the the gray just going

through it I don't know you just maybe maybe it looks better on camera and from

this lower angle but just interacting with the figure in person as I was

putting the weapons together and everything just looks a little bit

lacking to me especially because most of the time you're gonna be seeing it kind

of from above it really looks down quite a lot and also as always big figs have

very limited articulation so you just can move the arms up and down and you

can rotate the wrists in and out that works fine for what it is but I wish

they could do something else as well that's your sanctum sanctorum showdown

and I would rate this set overall similar to the was at the bridge battle

said I believe it was that really good half a bridge Spiderman said that they

made in terms of the overall size level of a detail display ability and also a

playability there's a lot of good stuff for playing here I think the figures

overall are are pretty good they're not necessarily great and certainly there

are some debatable individual design decisions that were made there but I

think the number of them is fair the cast of characters is is good is pretty

strong you know I think they could have added in employee down here or just a

regular citizen to kind of sweeten up the deal a little bit more into you know

bring it more into a real setting a supposedly realistic setting but a lot

of people I'm sure I'm going to buy this asset to get the building mostly and to

display that building and it has a lot of appeal for both kids and adults and

collector types because it just looks for the good from the outside

definitely thin but again they made pretty good use of the space that's

within here for the sake of play and the fact that it can all be you know easily

hinged around I think is going to allow it to look better than it ought to in

many places because you can always put it into that that corner sort of set up

to make it look bigger than it really is or you can just close the thing up

entirely and then it looks equally good from all angles so

there were a lot of compromises here and I think that most of them are good and

positive and and add to to the overall effect of everything together and make

for a good result for the number of pieces and the ultimate price for it one

other thing I guess I forgot to mention is that a lot of these things can be

attached to so these exposed studs and also the the jumper pieces they used

here you can put hands on the on these things you can put feet on these things

you can even attach the blast and splat pieces to make it look like things are

being hit in real time so I don't know how much of that was intentional if you

like probably some of it was but it's another positive note for this set

that's it for my thoughts though again please be sure to check out to the

pinned comment before you comment yourself and I'll be talking to you

again soon because my next video is on the way

Booktube Newbie Tag 2018! - Duration: 7:25.

Hey guys, I'm Lou

and in today's video I'm doing the Booktube Newbie Tag.

This tag was apparently created by Brenda C.

and I'm really thankful for that

because otherwise I would have no idea what to do as a first video.

This is the fourth time I've sat down to do this video.

I didn't realise how

nerve wracking it would be to sit in front of a camera and talk.

So let's get into it.

The first question is: Why did you start this channel?

I have a book blog on Tumblr.

I've been doing it for about 4 years,

and ever since then, I've been wanting to go on Youtube.

But I've never really had the confidence, or

I've always been pushing it off like, "Oh no you should focus on your studies."

Or, like, "You should spend your time elsewhere."

But now it's getting to the point where I'm like,

"You should really do it, because you've been meaning to do it for four years."

Also, I like interacting with readers,

running a book blog on Tumblr, doesn't really

give you the ability to do that.

I've recently started an Instagram with my best friend,

and I have been interacting with readers more but I want too

interact with readers on a greater scale.

And I feel like Youtube is the best medium to talk to others,

and be like, "This is what I'm reading. Are you guys excited about it too?"

The second question is: What are some fun and unique things you can bring to booktube?

I want to bring my passion for...

"My passion"

It sounds like I'm at a job interview. "I want to bring my passion."

But, I want to bring my love for

video games and K-dramas into booktube.

I already have some videos planned, but I just need to do some research.

And by research, I mean, read more books, and watch more K-dramas,

which is probably the best research you can do.

I also want want to bring my reviews

I feel like as a reader, I'm quite critical.

And, hopefully, I will be a reviewer you can trust.

And trust to tell the truth.

"I swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth."

No, but because I've read so much I feel like I can read...

Oh yeah, "Because I've read so much I think I can read."

Because I've read so much, I can tell what makes a really good book,

so, if I hype about a book, the book must be good.

My reading has become far more critical, over the last year

since I've been documenting my ratings, and stuff, on Goodreads.

So yeah, I'm hoping to bring my honest reviews, my love for K-dramas and video games.

Question number three is: What are you most excited for this new channel?

I'm just basically excited about interacting with you guys to be honest.

There's a lot of books that I haven't read.

A lot of popular books that I haven't read, and I'm

looking forward to interacting with people that have read them.

And making me excited to read them.

More so excited to see myself grow.

I'm not that confident in front of the camera,

I mean this is the fourth time I'm filming this.

Hopefully, this will be the fourth time right.

And, I'm hoping that I become more confident in front of the camera.

Question number four is: Why do you love reading?

Reading just makes me happy.

That's the simple answer.

It makes a bad day better.

It makes me fall in love with places and people.

It's just like if I can spend the rest of my life doing only one thing,

I would only read.

Question number 5 is: What book, or series, got you into reading?

And, the book that got me into reading was Twilight.

I was 11 years old,

and Twilight made me realise that I can actually enjoy reading.

And I am really thankful for that.

In the past, I used to be ashamed that Twilight was the book that got me into reading.

Especially when there was loads of hate when the movies came out, but

now, I'm thankful because

without Twilight I wouldn't love reading.

Question number seven is...

Wait not number seven.

Question number six is: What questions would you ask your favourite booktubers?

I think I would just ask them

Is it hard for them to upload videos?

Is it hard for them to film, and upload them?

Do they get bogged down, in like, insecurities and things not being right.

Are they perfectionists, or not with their videos?

And probably how much money they spend on books

And if that's different from

the amount of money that they spent on books before booktube

Question number seven is:

What challenges do you think starting a booktube channel will be the hardest to overcome?

For me, it'll be pushing the upload button.

Or even editing the videos.

It's very easy to film a video, it's probably like 10x harder

to let it out into the world.

Another challenge, I think would be difficult

would be

I'm always afraid of coming off the wrong way.

Especially on social media.

I get bogged down between which emojis to use, and that sort of thing.

So interacting with you guys will be hard for me, but I'm hoping that

over the course of this channel, it'll become easier, and I'll be making new friends.

Question number eight is: When did you start reading?

Well I've always read, but I didn't find it enjoyable until Twilight.

In primary school you had to read, and

like, I would read books. I would buy books, but I never really enjoyed them.

And, I went from an under performing primary school to

an excelling primary school, so I was behind on everything, for so many years

and reading was one of the things I hated because

I was always bad at compared to everyone else.

So, it's been a difficult beginning for me and reading but now I absolutely love it.

Question number nine is: Where do you read?

And that's in my room. Here.

I probably read 95% of the time in this room.

I do read on my commute to university.

So on the train.

And I do like reading on the train. The lighting is really good for reading on the train.

But then you're like stuck between really massive people, and you're there like... reading...

So yeah, it's mainly within this room.

I mainly read on my bed, or at my desk.

I'm always uncomfortable when I read, are you guys like that?

Like no matter how many pillows, or no matter how comfy my chair is

I'm always uncomfortable.

Unless I'm on the tube, but then it's uncomfortable being on the tube.

And the final question is:

What kind of books do you like to read?

Well... for me that's mainly young adult.

Then I would probably say fantasy, and the contemporaries.

I'm hoping that my time on booktube will expand my comfort zone with reading.

I hardly read any classics, and I'm hoping to change that.

I also, like, read probably two or three non-fiction books last year, and I want to read more of them

But me and non-fiction books don't really have a good relationship.

So I am hoping to read more of them.

And read books that you guys would recommend.

Especially once you get to know my reading tastes.

That would be one of the best things.

Me reading a book that someone recommended, through this channel

and realising that I love it.

So yeah, that's it.

I hope that you enjoyed this video, and that you will get to know me a bit better.

And I hope that you will subscribe.

If you do, I'll be your friend.

I'll link my social media down below, if you want to befriend me, and I'll befriend you.

I need new friends. I need... more friends. I need friends. I don't need new friends, I need friends.

So yeah, thank you for watching, and clicking on this video.

I actually had some fun... surprisingly.

and yeah...

I don't really know what else to say...

Bye guys!

Can You Please Help Me With My Marriage? - Duration: 28:33.

ANNOUNCER: THE FOLLOWING PROGRAM IS PAID FOR BY

THE FRIENDS AND PARTNERS OF JOYCE MEYER MINISTRIES.

JOYCE: I CAN'T GIVE SOMEBODY ELSE THE RESPONSIBILITY

FOR MY JOY.

AND WE NEED TO ALWAYS MAKE SURE THAT WE KNOW WHO WE ARE ENOUGH

THAT WE'RE NOT GOING TO BE CO-DEPENDENT ON SOMEBODY ELSE,

AND TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR WHAT WE NEED TO DO.

GINGER: AS WE WALK THROUGH EACH NEW DAY,

WE ALL HAVE QUESTIONS.

THEY'RE JUST PART OF LIFE.

BUT DID YOU KNOW THERE ARE ANSWERS FOR YOU?

GOD SAYS WHEN WE LOOK, WE'LL FIND HIM.

HE'S NOT TRYING TO HIDE ANYTHING.

SO, TOGETHER WE ARE DISCOVERING LIFE'S EVERYDAY ANSWERS.

GINGER: YES, THERE ARE A LOT OF MOVIES ABOUT FALLING IN LOVE,

ROMANTIC MOVIES, BUT NOT VERY MUCH ABOUT STAYING IN LOVE.

MARRIAGE IS DIFFICULT.

IT'S NOT ALL ROSES AND CONFETTI, BUT IT CAN BE WORTH IT.

SO TODAY, JOYCE HAS PRACTICAL TIPS FOR YOU AS SHE ANSWERS

THE QUESTION SO MANY OF YOU HAVE ASKED, "CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME

WITH MY MARRIAGE?" JOYCE: RELATIONSHIPS CAN BE

VERY CHALLENGING.

CAN ANYBODY SAY AMEN?

AND ESPECIALLY THE MARRIAGE RELATIONSHIP CAN BE CHALLENGING

BECAUSE YOU'RE WITH THAT PERSON ALL THE TIME.

AND GOING TO LUNCH WITH A FRIEND IS QUITE DIFFERENT THAN BEING

MARRIED TO SOMEBODY FOR 50 YEARS.

AND DAVE AND I HAVE BEEN MARRIED 50 YEARS, AND I CAN SAY THAT

DURING THAT PERIOD OF TIME, GOD HAS CHANGED ME A LOT, AND IT'S

PROBABLY A GOOD THING BECAUSE IF I WOULDN'T HAVE LET HIM DO THAT,

I PROBABLY WOULDN'T STILL BE MARRIED TODAY.

I THINK ONE OF THE THINGS IN OUR LIVES THAT GIVES US A LOT OF

PROBLEMS IS JUST HAVING UNREALISTIC EXPECTATIONS.

YOU KNOW, WHEN YOU'RE EXPECTING SOMEBODY TO GIVE YOU SOMETHING

THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO GIVE YOU, OR TO MAYBE UNDERSTAND SOMETHING

ABOUT YOU THAT THEY COULD NOT POSSIBLY UNDERSTAND, ESPECIALLY

IF YOU'RE EXPECTING SOMEBODY TO MAKE YOU HAPPY ALL THE TIME.

AND I DO THINK A LOT OF PEOPLE, WHEN THEY GET MARRIED, THEY GET

MARRIED WITH THE IDEA THAT, "NOW, YOU'RE GOING TO MAKE ME

HAPPY ALL THE TIME."

AND FIRST OF ALL, YOU KNOW, SOME OF THE THINGS THAT YOU FEEL WHEN

YOU'RE DATING SOMEBODY IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT THAN THE WAY

YOU FEEL, YOU KNOW, AFTER YOU'VE BEEN MARRIED FOR A WHILE.

AND SO, THERE'S A LOT OF EXCITEMENT, AND GOOSEBUMPS,

AND ALL THOSE THINGS.

YOU KNOW, IT'S ALMOST LIKE, YOU KNOW, THE CHASE IS DIFFERENT

THAN WHEN YOU ACTUALLY GET WHAT YOU WANT.

YOU KNOW, IT WAS A GREAT DAY FOR ME AND I'M SURE FOR DAVE WHEN

GOD SPOKE TO MY HEART AND INSTRUCTED ME THAT I WAS TO STOP

GIVING DAVE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF KEEPING ME HAPPY.

HE SAID, "YOUR JOY IS YOUR OWN RESPONSIBILITY.

IT'S NOT SOMEBODY ELSE'S RESPONSIBILITY."

AND I DO THINK IN RELATIONSHIPS THAT WE REALLY THINK THIS OTHER

PERSON IS SUPPOSED TO KEEP US HAPPY ALL THE TIME, THEY'RE

SUPPOSED TO MAKE US FEEL GOOD ABOUT OURSELVES ALL THE TIME.

BUT TO BE HONEST, IF YOU DON'T ALREADY HAVE A SENSE OF

CONFIDENCE, IF YOU DON'T ALREADY FEEL GOOD ABOUT YOURSELF, THEN

THERE'S NO HUMAN BEING IN YOUR LIFE THAT IS EVER GOING TO BE

SUCCESSFUL AT MAKING YOU FEEL GOOD ABOUT YOURSELF

ALL THE TIME.

AND I CAN TELL YOU IT WEARS PEOPLE OUT BECAUSE IF YOU DON'T

FEEL GOOD ABOUT YOURSELF, IF YOU DON'T HAVE A SENSE OF GOD'S LOVE

AND WHO YOU ARE IN HIM, AND IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO BE

AN INDIVIDUAL, THEN YOU'RE CONSTANTLY LOOKING FOR SOMEBODY

ELSE TO MAKE YOU FEEL GOOD, TO MAKE YOU FEEL SUCCESSFUL,

TO MAKE YOU FEEL CONFIDENT, TO MAKE YOU FEEL SECURE.

AND IT'S LIKE YOU'RE EXPECTING SOMETHING THAT THEY'RE NOT GOING

TO GIVE YOU BECAUSE, TO BE HONEST, NO MATTER WHO YOU

MARRY--NOW, I KNOW THIS IS GOING TO BE SHOCKING, BUT I HAVE TO

SAY THIS.

THEY ARE NOT GOING TO BE FOCUSED ON YOU ALL THE TIME.

ISN'T THAT SURPRISING?

THEY DON'T HAVE YOU ON THEIR MIND ALL THE TIME.

THEY'RE NOT GOING TO BE FOCUSED ON YOU ALL THE TIME.

BUT WHEN A PERSON IS--REALLY LACKS CONFIDENCE, LIKE FOR

EXAMPLE, IF A WOMAN IS INSECURE AND SHE MAKES A NEW MEAL.

IF THE MAN, THE KIDS, WHATEVER DON'T RAVE ABOUT HOW GOOD IT IS,

SHE'S GOING TO AUTOMATICALLY ASSUME THAT IT'S NOT GOOD

AND THEY DIDN'T LIKE IT.

YOU KNOW, WHERE A PERSON WHO HAS CONFIDENCE MAY TASTE IT AND SAY,

"THIS IS REALLY GREAT."

AND THEY DON'T--THEY DON'T NECESSARILY HAVE TO HAVE

SOMEBODY ELSE CONFIRMING TO THEM ALL THE TIME THAT EVERYTHING

THEY DO IS GOOD.

THAT DOESN'T MEAN THAT WE SHOULDN'T COMPLIMENT EACH OTHER,

BUT IF YOU HAVE TO HAVE THAT, THEN IT'S KIND OF EQUIVALENT TO

A DRUG ADDICT NEEDING A FIX.

IT'S LIKE YOU CONSTANTLY EXPECT SOMEBODY ELSE TO FIX YOU,

TO KEEP YOU FIXED ALL THE TIME.

AND IT JUST WEARS THEM ABSOLUTELY OUT.

SO, ARE YOU EXPECTING THE PERSON THAT YOU'RE MARRIED TO TO ALWAYS

BE THERE FOR YOU WHEN YOU'RE HURTING, TO ALWAYS UNDERSTAND

WHAT YOU'RE GOING THROUGH?

LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING, THERE'S ONLY ONE PERSON THAT CAN

EVER UNDERSTAND ANY OF US, AND THAT'S JESUS.

AND I AM GRATEFUL THAT THE BIBLE SAYS THAT WE HAVE A HIGH PRIEST

WHO UNDERSTANDS.

IT GOES ON TO TALK ABOUT OUR WEAKNESSES AND OUR INFIRMITIES,

BUT HE UNDERSTANDS EACH OF US IN OUR OWN LITTLE BRAND OF

WEIRDNESS.

AND TRUST ME, WE ALL HAVE A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF THAT.

AND SO, I GUESS ONE OF THE THINGS THAT DAVE AND I HAD

A NUMBER OF ARGUMENTS OVER OVER THE YEARS WAS I WANTED--NO

MATTER WHAT I TOLD HIM I WAS GOING THROUGH, I WANTED HIM TO

SIT AND LISTEN TO EVERY SINGLE SOLITARY WORD, AND I WANTED HIM

TO UNDERSTAND.

BUT HE DIDN'T.

GINGER: JOYCE HAS MORE PRACTICAL TIPS FOR YOU ON

MARRIAGE.

AND NOW, LET'S TAKE A MOMENT TO HEAR YOUR VOICE.

[MUSIC]

GINGER: WE ASKED YOU TO SHARE HOW GOD HAS SHOWN YOU THAT HE

CARES ABOUT THE SMALL THINGS THAT ARE VERY IMPORTANT

AND SPECIAL TO YOU.

SO, HERE ARE SOME THINGS THAT HAVE BEEN SHARED OF WHAT I CALL

GOD'S WINGS TO YOU.

THIS IS JEANETTE FROM WASHINGTON STATE.

"ONE TIME I WAS DE-CLUTTERING AND WAS GOING TO THROW OUT

A PICTURE.

SOMETHING IN MY SPIRIT SAID, 'STOP, TAKE IT APART, THERE'S

A SURPRISE FOR YOU.' SO, I TOOK IT APART

AND FOUND AN ORIGINAL PORTRAIT OF MY PARENTS FROM THE 1940S.

HE CARES ABOUT THE LITTLE THINGS AND HOW WE LIVE.

THANKS FOR LETTING US SHARE."

WELL, THANK YOU, JEANETTE, FOR SHARING THAT, WE APPRECIATE IT.

ROMI FROM PASADENA SAYS, I LOVE THIS ONE, "I GOT

A FLUX CAPACITOR BASED ON THE 'BACK TO THE FUTURE'

MOVIE CAR PHONE CHARGER TODAY!

ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS BOUGHT IT FOR ME.

IT'S JUST A TOTAL SURPRISE.

GOD CARES ABOUT SOMETHING SO SMALL, SOMETHING AS SILLY AS A

CAR CHARGER WAS IMPORTANT TO GOD BECAUSE IT WAS SPECIAL TO ME."

WELL, THOSE ARE GOOD, AND GOD DOES CARE ABOUT

EVERY SINGLE THING.

AND LET ME JUST TELL YOU A TIP ABOUT MARRIAGE, APPRECIATING

THOSE SMALL THINGS ARE VERY IMPORTANT IN A MARRIAGE.

SO, THANKS FOR SHARING THESE, WE WANT TO HEAR MORE OF YOUR VOICE.

SINCE WE'RE TALKING ABOUT MARRIAGE TODAY, LET'S JUST DO

IT, LET'S JUST JUMP RIGHT IN THERE AND SHARE WHAT YOU

APPRECIATE MOST ABOUT YOUR SPOUSE.

LOOK FOR THOSE GOOD THINGS, MAYBE THEY'LL SEE IT.

IF NOT, IT'S A GREAT EXERCISE FOR YOU TO WRITE IT DOWN,

AND IT'S IMPORTANT TO SHARE.

SO, USE FACEBOOK--FACEBOOK, TWITTER, USE #EA.

AND RIGHT NOW, HERE IS MORE FROM JOYCE ANSWERING THE QUESTION,

"CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME WITH MY MARRIAGE?"

JOYCE: THE NEXT THING I WANT TO SAY IS ALWAYS ENTER

RELATIONSHIPS, IN EVERY RELATIONSHIP, WITH THE IDEA

OF GIVING RATHER THAN GETTING.

AND THE THING IS IS OUR MINDSET, THE DIRECTION WE SET OUR MIND

IN, HAS SO MUCH TO DO WITH THE WAY THINGS TURN OUT IN OUR LIFE.

I'LL GIVE YOU AN EXAMPLE.

I SAID TO DAVE, I DON'T KNOW, A YEAR OR TWO AGO, I SAID--

'CAUSE I KNOW HOW MUCH, YOU KNOW, HE ENJOYS

PLAYING GOLF.

AND YOU KNOW, DAVE IS VERY HEALTHY, AND SO THAT'S ALL GOOD.

BUT I SAID, "HOW DO YOU THINK YOU WOULD BE IF YOU EVER FOR

SOME REASON GOT TO THE POINT WHERE YOU COULDN'T PLAY GOLF?"

AND I THOUGHT THE ANSWER HE GAVE ME REALLY DESCRIBES MY HUSBAND

VERY WELL.

HE SAID, "WELL, I'VE ACTUALLY ALREADY THOUGHT ABOUT THAT,

AND I'VE SET MY MIND THAT EVEN IF THAT HAPPENS, I CAN STILL BE

JUST AS HAPPY AS I AM RIGHT NOW."

AND SEE, WE ALL NEED TO HAVE THIS MINDSET THAT MY JOY IS NOT

DEPENDING ON HOW YOU ACT BECAUSE IF IT IS, NOW I'M CO-DEPENDENT

ON YOUR BEHAVIOR.

AND SO, WE'RE EASILY CONTROLLED BY WHATEVER'S GOING ON AROUND US

BECAUSE, TO BE HONEST, WE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER HOW

SOMEBODY ELSE IS GOING TO ACT ALL THE TIME.

I CAN'T CONTROL HOW--I MEAN, NOW THANKFULLY DAVE IS VERY STABLE,

AND SO THAT'S BEEN AN EXTREME BLESSING TO ME IN MY LIFE

BECAUSE I GREW UP AROUND PEOPLE THAT WEREN'T STABLE.

BUT IF I WAS MARRIED TO SOMEBODY THAT MAYBE HAD MORE UPS AND

DOWNS, YOU KNOW, THEN I WOULD HAVE TO MAKE MY MIND UP,

FIRST OF ALL, IT'S NOT MY FAULT.

BECAUSE A LOT OF TIMES IF PEOPLE AROUND YOU AREN'T HAPPY,

THEN YOU TAKE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF FIXING THEM.

AND BOY, THAT'S ANOTHER WHOLE NIGHTMARE ALL ON ITS OWN.

AND SO, I JUST HAD TO LEARN THAT I CAN'T GIVE SOMEBODY ELSE

THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR MY JOY, AND WE NEED TO ALWAYS MAKE SURE

THAT WE KNOW WHO WE ARE ENOUGH THAT WE'RE NOT GOING TO BE

CO-DEPENDENT ON SOMEBODY ELSE AND TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR WHAT

WE NEED TO DO.

CAN ANYBODY SAY AMEN OR "OH ME," OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT?

SO, ALWAYS ENTER RELATIONSHIPS WITH THE THOUGHT OF GIVING

RATHER THAN TAKING.

AND BASICALLY, TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH, EVERY SINGLE DAY

OF YOUR LIFE, EVERY DAY.

I DID IT JUST THIS MORNING.

YOU KNOW, 'CAUSE WE ALL HAVE A TENDENCY TO BE FOCUSED ON US.

"WHAT CAN YOU DO FOR ME?

HOW CAN YOU MAKE ME HAPPY?

HOW CAN I GET YOU TO DO WHAT I WANT YOU TO DO?

CAN WE EAT WHERE I WANT TO EAT?" YOU KNOW, ON AND ON AND ON.

AND SO, I MAKE THAT A HABIT.

I DON'T SAY THAT I DO IT EVERY DAY, BUT I SPENT TIME THIS

MORNING, AND NOT JUST BECAUSE I WAS COMING HERE TO TEACH ON

MARRIAGE, BUT I PURPOSELY SET MY MIND TO BE FOCUSED ON WHAT CAN I

DO FOR OTHER PEOPLE TODAY.

BECAUSE I'VE LEARNED THAT IF I'M FOCUSED ON ME, I'M NOT HAPPY.

AND SO, THE WAY WE SET OUR MIND, THE DIRECTION WE SET OUR MIND IN

IS VERY IMPORTANT.

SO, WHEN YOU GET MARRIED, IF YOUR MIND IS SET AND MADE UP

THAT THIS PERSON'S SUPPOSED TO KEEP YOU HAPPY ALL THE TIME,

BOY, YOU'VE JUST ALREADY SIGNED UP FOR A DISASTER.

BUT IF YOU SET YOUR MIND, "I WANT TO GIVE."

YOU KNOW, "I WANT TO MAKE THIS OTHER PERSON HAPPY.

WHAT CAN I DO FOR THEM THAT WILL MAKE THEM HAPPY?"

AND IF YOU DO THAT, THEN THE VERY ACT OF GIVING

GIVES JOY IN YOUR LIFE.

WHERE IF WE GO AT A RELATIONSHIP WITH, "WHAT CAN I GET?

WHAT CAN I GET?" THEN EVERY TIME WE DON'T GET

SOMETHING, WE'RE UNHAPPY.

AND SO, YOU KNOW, DAVE IS NOT A MAN THAT REQUIRES A LOT.

HE'S A VERY STABLE MAN, HE'S VERY HAPPY.

BUT I DON'T CARE WHO YOU ARE, YOU LIKE IT WHEN PEOPLE GIVE YOU

WHAT YOU WANT.

AND SO, IT'S IMPORTANT TO LEARN THE PERSON THAT YOU'RE IN

A RELATIONSHIP WITH AND WHAT ACTUALLY ARE THEY MOTIVATED BY,

WHAT BLESSES THEM.

MY HUSBAND LOVES PEACE.

IF YOU KEEP IT PEACEFUL, DAVE IS HAPPY.

HE DOESN'T LIKE ARGUING.

HE DOESN'T LIKE COMPLICATED DISCUSSIONS.

HE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT GETTING REAL DEEP INTO EVERY LITTLE

FEELING THAT SOMEBODY HAS AND WHAT'S GOING ON.

NOW, I COULD SIT AND TALK ABOUT THAT STUFF ALL DAY,

BUT THAT'S NOT HIM.

DAVE WANTS PEACE.

SO, I PURPOSE TO TRY TO GIVE HIM PEACE.

AND I KNOW THAT DAVE'S LOVE LANGUAGE IS TIME, SO IF HE'S

TRYING TO TELL ME SOMETHING AND TALK TO ME ABOUT SOMETHING,

EVEN IF IT DOESN'T INTEREST ME, I'M STILL LEARNING, AND I'LL SAY

STILL LEARNING BECAUSE IT'S NOT MY NUMBER ONE GIFT, I'M STILL

LEARNING TO REALLY LISTEN AND PAY ATTENTION.

WHERE I LOVE IT WHEN HE DOES THINGS FOR ME, LIKE HE DOES

THE DISHES ALMOST EVERY NIGHT, AND I LOVE THAT.

SO, YOU HAVE TO KIND OF STOP TRYING TO GIVE PEOPLE WHAT YOU

WANT AND WHAT YOU LIKE, AND JUST BE IN THE RELATIONSHIP FOR WHAT

I CAN GET, BUT ACTUALLY THE WHOLE ACT OF LOVE, WHICH WE ARE

COMMANDED AS CHRISTIANS TO DO, IS TO THINK ABOUT WHAT CAN

I GIVE YOU, NOT WHAT CAN YOU GIVE ME.

AND SO, THEN THE SELFISH NATURE SAYS, "WELL, THEN WHAT'S GOING

TO HAPPEN TO ME?" WELL, THEN GOD TAKES CARE OF US.

SO, LET ME JUST SAY NOW AFTER 50 YEARS OF MARRIAGE, I CAN TELL

YOU, AND I FEEL VERY STRONGLY ABOUT THIS, I DON'T THINK THE

WAY THE WORLD IS TODAY, THERE'S MUCH HOPE OF ANYBODY GETTING

MARRIED AND STAYING MARRIED VERY LONG IF YOU'RE NOT GOING

TO BE COMMITTED TO DOING THINGS THE WAY THAT GOD WOULD WANT

YOU TO DO THEM.

AND SADLY, A LOT OF CHRISTIANS AREN'T.

YOU KNOW, JUST BECAUSE WE GO TO CHURCH DOESN'T MEAN THAT WE'RE

SAYING YES TO GOD ON A REGULAR BASIS.

AND SO, ANYBODY WHO WILL COMMIT TO DOING THEIR PART TO DO WHAT'S

RIGHT BEFORE GOD, GOD WILL REWARD YOU.

AND THERE'S A MUCH GREATER CHANCE THAT HE WILL MAKE THE

CHANGES IN THE OTHER PERSON THAT NEEDS TO BE MADE IF YOU JUST DO

WHAT'S RIGHT BEFORE HIM, AND STOP TRYING TO MAKE THAT OTHER

PERSON GIVE YOU WHAT YOU WANT.

GINGER: ONE OF THE PRAYER REQUESTS THAT WE RECEIVE MOST

FREQUENTLY IS FOR RESTORATION OF MARRIAGE.

WE KNOW A LOT OF YOU ARE GOING THROUGH REALLY TOUGH TIMES, AND

THIS NEXT STORY IS AN EXAMPLE OF HOW GOD CAN HEAL A MARRIAGE ON

THE BRINK OF DIVORCE.

MALE: MY TURN?

DEBBIE: I WASN'T UNHAPPY IN THE MARRIAGE.

OBVIOUSLY, THERE WAS A PROBLEM OR SOMETHING COULDN'T

HAVE HAPPENED.

BUT AGAIN, AT THE TIME, I WASN'T LOOKING, SO IT REALLY SHOCKED ME

THAT THE ENEMY DID COME IN AND PERSUADE ME TO BE INTERESTED

IN SOMEONE ELSE.

SCOTT: I DIDN'T WANT TO BELIEVE IT, BUT THERE WERE

CERTAIN THINGS.

I MEAN, SHE WOULD GO DO THINGS, AND HE WOULD ALWAYS BE THERE.

SO, I HAD--I HAD THAT GUT FEELING, BUT YET I DIDN'T WANT

TO I GUESS ADMIT TO IT.

ANNOUNCER: WHEN DEBBIE TOLD SCOTT ABOUT THE AFFAIR, HE WAS

HEARTBROKEN, BUT REFUSED TO MOVE OUT OF THEIR HOME.

THEY WOULD LIVE TOGETHER BUT LEAD SEPARATE LIVES FOR

THE NEXT 7 YEARS.

DEBBIE: WE DIDN'T SEPARATE OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT BECAUSE AT

THE TIME, OUR SON WAS VERY YOUNG, MAYBE TWO AND A HALF.

SCOTT: TREVOR WAS THE MAIN THING.

I DIDN'T WANT TO BE A WEEKEND DAD.

AND THAT WAS MY ULTIMATE GOAL, I'M NOT GOING TO BE

A WEEKEND DAD.

DEBBIE: SO, WE ENDED UP WITH A MUTUAL PARTNERSHIP.

WE BOTH WORKED, WE BOTH CONTRIBUTED TO THE FINANCES,

AND OF COURSE WE BOTH TOOK CARE OF MY SON.

YOU KNOW, WE DID THE THINGS A FAMILY DOES, IT'S JUST MOM

AND DAD WEREN'T A COUPLE.

ANNOUNCER: THE AFFAIR CONTINUED THROUGHOUT THOSE

7 YEARS, AND THEN SOMETHING CHANGED.

A SERIES OF TRAGIC EVENTS TOUCHED THE LIVES OF THREE

OF DEBBIE'S CLOSE FRIENDS.

IT MADE HER REEVALUATE HER OWN LIFE.

SHE DECIDED TO END THE AFFAIR AND REACH OUT TO SCOTT TO SAVE

THEIR MARRIAGE.

DEBBIE: YOU KNOW, I CAN STILL CHANGE THIS SO THAT OUR FAMILY

IS NOT FOREVER SEPARATED.

SCOTT: WHEN DEBBIE TOLD ME SHE WANTED TO TRY TO MAKE OUR

MARRIAGE WORK, FIRST REACTION WAS HONESTLY, "YEAH RIGHT,

YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING ME.

AFTER THIS LONG, YOU KNOW, WHY?

YOU KNOW, WHAT'S GOING ON?" DEBBIE: DURING THAT TIME,

IT BECAME AWFUL.

I WOULD SAY ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE.

I SAW A SIDE OF MY HUSBAND THAT I DIDN'T EVEN SEE WHEN I WAS

INVOLVED.

SCOTT: THERE WAS REALLY A LOT OF RESENTMENT, AND THE ONLY

THING I COULD REALLY THINK OF WAS, "MAYBE SHE'S GOING TO TRY

TO BUILD ME BACK UP AGAIN AND KNOCK ME BACK DOWN."

ANNOUNCER: SOON AFTER DEBBIE TOLD HIM SHE WANTED TO WORK ON

THEIR MARRIAGE, SCOTT HAD AN AFFAIR IN RETALIATION FOR ALL

THE PAIN SHE HAD CAUSED HIM.

SCOTT: YEAH, THAT'S WHAT I DID.

WHETHER IT WAS--WELL, I MEAN, I SIT THERE AND SAY WHETHER IT WAS

RIGHT OR WRONG.

IT WAS WRONG, DEFINITELY WRONG.

YOU KNOW, I HURT HER MORE PROBABLY THAN SHE HURT ME.

ANNOUNCER: THE HOSTILITY AND REJECTION HAD GOTTEN SO BAD THAT

DEBBIE WENT TO SEE AN ATTORNEY.

IN THE MEANTIME, SHE MET A NEW FRIEND WHO WAS A CHRISTIAN.

SHE ENCOURAGED HER TO FIGHT FOR HER MARRIAGE.

DEBBIE: YOU KNOW, SHE SAID, "GOD REALLY DOESN'T WANT YOU

TO DO THIS.

HE'S REALLY FOR MARRIAGES.

AND IF YOU HANG IN THERE, HE IS GOING TO HELP YOU."

AND YOU KNOW, I KNEW GOD, AND I BELIEVED IN GOD, BUT I DIDN'T

KNOW A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH GOD.

I DID NOT KNOW THAT I COULD RELATE TO HIM EVERY DAY.

I HAD THEN MET A PASTOR, AND HE SAID TO ME, "YOU DO NOT NEED TO

HAVE YOUR HUSBAND'S, YOU KNOW, AGREEMENT IN THIS.

YOU AND GOD CAN SAVE THIS MARRIAGE."

SO, HE GAVE ME HOPE.

SO, HE BEGAN TO TEACH ME THAT THERE WERE PROMISES WITH GOD.

WHEN I HEARD THAT, THAT WAS LIFE-CHANGING TO ME.

I THOUGHT, "THERE'S PROMISES, I CAN HAVE THEM.

I CAN--THIS IS FOR ME."

SO, I BEGAN APPLYING GOD'S WORD IN EVERY SITUATION.

ANNOUNCER: THOUGH DEBBIE DIDN'T KNOW IT AT THE TIME, SHE

AND SCOTT HAD BEGUN A JOURNEY OF HEALING AND FORGIVENESS THAT

WOULD TAKE 2 1/2 YEARS TO COMPLETE.

IT WAS A DAY BY DAY PROCESS WHERE SHE WOULD MEET SCOTT'S

HOSTILITY HEAD ON WITH KINDNESS.

SCOTT: SHE WAS JUST BEING TOO NICE, AND I THINK IT--I THINK IT

WORE ON ME, YOU KNOW?

HEY, WHY NOT, YOU KNOW?

IT'S BEEN 7 YEARS, IT'S BEEN, YOU KNOW, A YEAR NOW SHE'S BEING

VERY NICE.

ANNOUNCER: IN 2009, THE COUPLE RENEWED THEIR VOWS,

WHICH ALSO MARKED THEIR 20TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY.

DEBBIE: AND THIS TIME WHEN WE GOT MARRIED, IT WAS--WE LEARNED

TO KEEP GOD FIRST AND PUT EACH OTHER AHEAD OF OURSELVES.

ANNOUNCER: BUT THERE WAS ONE FINAL ACT OF FORGIVENESS THAT

STILL NEEDED TO HAPPEN TO BRING COMPLETE CLOSURE.

SCOTT: I'M GOING TO APOLOGIZE TO HER ON TV.

I DON'T THINK I EVER DID FOR MY ACTIONS THAT I DID, MY AFFAIR.

I'M GOING TO APOLOGIZE TO HER, AND JUST WANT HER TO KNOW THAT

I'M SORRY, THAT I SHOULD'VE BEEN MORE--I SHOULD'VE BEEN MORE OF

A MAN, AND DID THE THINGS THAT I NEEDED TO DO TO KEEP US

TOGETHER.

SO, DEBBIE, I'M SORRY.

DEBBIE: THAT WAS AWESOME.

GINGER: WHAT A WONDERFUL, ENCOURAGING STORY.

AND YOU KNOW, THEY ARE ABOUT TO HAVE THEIR 27TH ANNIVERSARY.

CONGRATULATIONS.

MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE BEEN MARRIED OVER 30 YEARS NOW,

ALSO, COMING UP NEXT WEEK ON "EVERYDAY ANSWERS."

JOYCE: TREAT OTHER PEOPLE THE WAY YOU WANNA BE TREATED,

NOT THE WAY THEY TREAT YOU.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: YOU KNOW WHY?

BECAUSE WE REAP WHAT WE SOW.

GINGER: DON'T FORGET TO ASK US THOSE QUESTIONS, #ASKJOYCE

IF YOU'RE ON TWITTER.

WE LOVE TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS.

NOW, HERE IS THE CONCLUSION OF "CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME

WITH MY MARRIAGE?" JOYCE: NEXT BIG MISTAKE YOU

CAN MAKE IS PLANNING TO TRY TO CHANGE THE PERSON.

ESPECIALLY LIKE IF YOU NOTICE SOME THINGS BEFORE YOU GET

MARRIED, AND YOU'RE THINKING, "OH, I CAN CHANGE THAT.

I CAN--WELL, I'LL WORK ON THAT."

WELL, LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING, I TRIED EVERY WAY THAT I COULD

TRY TO GET DAVE NOT TO LIKE SPORTS.

NO REASON OTHER THAN SELFISHNESS.

I DIDN'T CARE ABOUT THEM, I DIDN'T GROW UP GETTING

TO DO ANY OF THAT.

MY FATHER NEVER LIKED ANY KIND OF SPORTS.

WE DIDN'T HAVE THEM ON TELEVISION, WE DIDN'T GO TO--I

MEAN, NONE OF THAT WAS PART OF OUR LIFE.

AND SO, IT'S JUST NOT ANYTHING THAT I REALLY AM GOING TO PUT MY

TIME INTO.

SO, I DIDN'T WANT HIM TO LIKE IT.

BUT I CAN TELL YOU THE TRUTH, THE MORE YOU TRY TO GET SOMEBODY

NOT TO DO SOMETHING, THE MORE THEY'RE GOING TO WANT TO DO IT.

I MEAN, THAT WHOLE PRINCIPAL IS FOUND IN THE BIBLE ABOUT

THE LAW.

THAT'S WHY THE LAW CAUSED PEOPLE TO SIN MORE, NOT LESS.

AND GOD DID THAT ON PURPOSE TO SHOW PEOPLE THAT THEY NEEDED

A SAVIOR.

SO, THE MORE YOU TRY TO MAKE SOMEBODY NOT DO SOMETHING,

THE MORE THEY'RE PROBABLY GOING TO WANT TO DO IT.

AND ACTUALLY, TODAY, DAVE LOVES ALL KINDS OF SPORTS THAT HE

DIDN'T EVEN LIKE WHEN WE GOT MARRIED.

I MEAN, HE'S ADDED THINGS THAT HE DOESN'T EVEN PLAY.

LIKE, NOW HE WATCHES TENNIS ALL THE TIME, HE DOESN'T PLAY

TENNIS.

YOU KNOW, HE'LL WATCH A BOWLING TOURNAMENT ON TV.

AND YOU KNOW, THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ANYTHING.

BUT YOU KNOW WHAT?

NOW I'M JUST--HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ANY WAY WITH WHAT I'D LIKE

HIM TO BE INTERESTED IN.

BUT YOU KNOW, DAVE IS NOT--HE'S NOT A REAL AGGRESSIVE MAN.

HIS PERSONALITY IS NOT REAL AGGRESSIVE.

HE ALWAYS SAID, "YOU'RE ALWAYS AHEAD OF GOD," AND I SAID,

"YEAH.

AND YOU'RE 10 MILES BEHIND HIM."

AND SO, HERE WE HAVE THESE TWO PEOPLE THAT ARE MARRIED,

AND I'M JUST REAL AGGRESSIVE AND HE'S NOT AS AGGRESSIVE.

AND SO, I TRIED TO GET HIM TO BE MORE AGGRESSIVE, AND I WOULD SAY

TO HIM, YOU KNOW, "YOU NEED TO BE MORE OF THIS, AND YOU NEED TO

BE MORE OF THAT."

AND YOU KNOW HOW AWFUL IT IS, HOW IT MAKES A PERSON FEEL IF

YOU'RE CONSTANTLY GIVING THEM MESSAGES THAT THEY'RE LESS THAN

WHAT YOU WANT THEM TO BE?

"YOU NEED TO BE THIS.

YOU NEED TO DO THAT."

ESPECIALLY IF IT'S NOT SOMETHING THEY EVEN KNOW HOW TO DO.

AND I'LL NEVER FORGET THE DAY HE SAID TO ME, HE SAID, "YOU BETTER

THANK GOD THAT I AM THE WAY THAT I AM BECAUSE IF I WASN'T,

YOU SURE WOULDN'T BE DOING WHAT YOU'RE DOING."

AND SO, I JUST WANT TO REMIND YOU TODAY THAT THERE'S A REALLY

GOOD POSSIBILITY NO MATTER WHAT YOU THINK, THAT THE PERSON THAT

YOU MARRIED IS REALLY PERFECT FOR YOU.

I DIDN'T EXPECT ANYBODY TO CLAP, BUT THAT'S ALL RIGHT.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: YOU CAN'T PRESSURE SOMEBODY TO

BE SOMETHING THAT THEY'RE NOT.

NOW, YOU KNOW, WHAT WE FOCUS ON IS WHAT DEVELOPS MORE AND MORE

IN OUR LIFE.

SO, IF I FOCUS ON WHAT I DON'T LIKE ABOUT SOMEBODY, THEN PRETTY

SOON THAT'S ALL I SEE.

AMEN?

BUT IF I FOCUS ON WHAT I DO LIKE, MOST OF THE TIME YOU'LL

FIND OUT, NO MATTER HOW BAD YOU THINK YOUR RELATION IS, MOST OF

THE TIME YOU WILL FIND OUT IF YOU FOCUS ON WHAT YOU DO LIKE,

THERE'S PROBABLY A LOT MORE THAT YOU LIKE THAN WHAT YOU

DON'T LIKE.

I LOVE THE FACT THAT DAVE IS PEACEFUL.

I LOVE THE FACT THAT HE'S EASY TO GET ALONG WITH.

I LOVE THE FACT THAT HE JUST LETS ME BE ME.

IF I WENT TO DAVE AND SAID, "WHAT--" WHICH I'VE DONE.

LIKE, "WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO CHANGE ABOUT ME?

YOU KNOW, IF I CAN CHANGE SOMETHING, WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE

ME TO CHANGE SO YOU COULD BE HAPPIER?"

HE SAID, "NOTHING, I LIKE YOU JUST THE WAY YOU ARE."

AND SO, IF YOU WOULD HAVE ASKED ME THAT QUESTION 30 YEARS AGO,

I PROBABLY HAD A WRITTEN LIST ALREADY.

I MEAN, 'CAUSE I ACTUALLY REMEMBER TIMES WHEN I SAT DOWN

AND MADE A LIST OF EVERYTHING THAT I THOUGHT DAVE NEEDED TO

CHANGE FOR ME TO BE HAPPY.

WELL, I KNOW THAT THERE ARE THINGS.

I MEAN, DAVE COULDN'T POSSIBLY LIKE EVERYTHING ABOUT ME.

I KNOW THAT BECAUSE I ALREADY KNOW WHAT MY WEAKNESS ARE AND

SOME OF THE THINGS THAT NOBODY WOULD WANT TO PUT UP WITH IF

THAT WAS ALL THEY FOCUSED ON.

AND I KNOW THAT THERE ARE THINGS ABOUT DAVE THAT I PROBABLY DON'T

CARE FOR, BUT TO BE HONEST, IF YOU ASK ME THAT NOW, I WOULD

HAVE TO THINK A REALLY LONG TIME TO COME UP WITH IT.

YOU KNOW WHY?

NOT BECAUSE IT'S NOT THERE, BUT I DON'T FOCUS ON IT.

AND SO, IF YOU THINK ABOUT LIKE A--SAY A POLAROID CAMERA, I

COULD TAKE A PICTURE OF ANYTHING IN HERE TODAY THAT I WANTED TO,

DEPENDING ON WHERE I FOCUSED THE CAMERA.

AND THEN WHATEVER I FOCUSED ON WOULD DEVELOP IN MY LIFE.

AND I'M TELLING YOU THE TRUTH, I'VE BEEN THINKING ABOUT THIS

A LOT LATELY.

WHAT YOU FOCUS ON, YOU FOCUS ON YOUR PROBLEMS, PRETTY SOON

YOU'RE GOING TO THINK THAT YOU'VE GOT THE WORST LIFE IN THE

WHOLE WORLD BECAUSE ALL YOU'RE GOING TO SEE IS YOUR PROBLEMS.

BUT IF YOU FOCUS ON YOUR BLESSINGS, THAT GIVES GOD

AN OPPORTUNITY THEN TO WORK ON THE PROBLEMS.

AND SO, IF YOU'RE IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH SOMEBODY,

AND THEY DO A LOT OF THINGS THAT THAT YOU DON'T LIKE,

PRAY FOR THEM.

PRAY ABOUT THOSE THINGS.

AND MAKE SURE WHEN YOU PRAY, THAT YOU DO IT WITH AN ATTITUDE

OF HUMILITY.

I NEVER GO AND SAY, "GOD, THIS NEEDS TO CHANGE IN DAVE."

I'LL PRAY MORE LIKE THIS NOW, "GOD, I WOULD LIKE THIS TO

CHANGE, BUT MAYBE IT'S NOT EVEN THE PROBLEM I THINK IT IS,

IT MAY JUST BE MY ATTITUDE.

AND SO, FIRST OF ALL, I WANT YOU TO CHANGE ANYTHING IN ME THAT

NEEDS TO BE CHANGED.

AND IF THIS IS SOMETHING THAT NEEDS TO CHANGE IN DAVE, THEN

I'M ASKING YOU TO CHANGE IT, AND TO HELP ME FOCUS ON ALL

THE GOOD THINGS, NOT ON THE THINGS THAT ARE AN ISSUE."

GINGER: WELL, WHAT YOU HAVE JUST BEEN WATCHING IS AVAILABLE

RIGHT HERE.

AND YOU'VE ONLY SEEN PART OF IT, SO THERE IS MUCH MORE IN THIS

RESOURCE.

IT'S SIMPLY CALLED "MARRIAGE," AND IT'S SO HELPFUL.

Customer Service Jobs from Home: What You Need to Know - Duration: 12:21.

Hey, Angie Nelson here from theworkathomewife.com.

Customer service jobs are some of the most

readily available gigs in the work-at-home world.

But what do you need to get started?

And who hires for these positions?

And what can you expect to get paid?

Those are things that we are going to be covering

in today's video, along with so much more.

So please make sure you stay to the end of the video

to find out how you can get my seven-day series

on "Finding Work at Home" free.

Now customer service jobs, they aren't everyone's dream job.

However, when someone comes to me

looking for work at home for the first time,

I always recommend that they don't pass up this opportunity.

Customer service jobs are some of the most

readily available and often some of the quickest hires

that there are in the work-at-home world.

These jobs, there are thousands of thousands

of these positions available.

They aren't all sales oriented.

They aren't all customer service oriented.

And they aren't always on the phone either.

There's a lot of variety here

and there's something that can appeal to everyone.

So I do ask that you give it a little bit of a look,

even if it's something that you

want to pass over right away,

because you may find that there's

something in here for you.

Now, when we're talking about the standard requirements

for remote customer service jobs,

most of them are pretty much the same.

If you're going to be on the phone,

obviously you're client is going to want you

to have a quiet work environment.

This isn't going to be a job that you can usually do

during the day if you have little kids at home,

or if you have really noisy neighbors, or barking dogs.

They do want this to be a quiet environment

so that maybe your customer doesn't know

that you're actually working from home.

Maybe they're still going to want them to think

that you're in the office environment.

So that is something that's pretty important to them.

Also, high speed internet is usually a must.

Because you are usually doing the work

through your computer as you're on the phone,

they do want to make sure that there's no hiccups there.

As far as maybe you're internet service

has a little bump in service

and you lose your connection, or lose a call.

Those are things that they're going to be looking for.

That's why many of them will also require

that you have a landline.

There are a few positions out there

that will allow you to take the calls

right through your computer.

But most are going to require a landline.

Also, they are going to want to make sure

that you have an up-to-date system on your computer.

They say that the standard there

is usually about three years old.

If your computer is over three years old,

you may need to upgrade or have some upgrades done

in order for it to work with

the current software that they're using.

Now another reason that I really love customer service jobs

is because these are jobs that can really

provide you with a steady paycheck

if you're just getting started.

Many of you that are coming from

a traditional 9 to 5 job

want to make that transition as easy as possible.

Customer service jobs, a lot of them will offer

an hourly wage, and they'll also offer more

in the way of full-time work for some of these positions.

Now the downside to that is going to be that

there may not be the flexibility that you're looking for.

If you need to really just wing it from day to day,

picking up work whenever and wherever you can,

customer service jobs do tend to be

a little bit more structured.

For most companies the schedule will be released

a week or two in advance and you'll have to go in

and pick up your shifts at that time.

In most cases it can get a little competitive.

Usually the reps that have been there the longer

will have a little bit of an advance leeway there,

as far as picking up shifts,

and the later you are in that game,

the less chance you're going to be able to have

to get the shifts that you want.

Usually those are 30 minute blocks.

But an upside to that is that if you do have a day job,

usually the largest demand for these positions

is going to be at night and on the weekends.

It's definitely something that you should look into

if you're looking for something to do

to supplement your current income.

Now if you're wondering what the pay is

for customer service positions,

this is another reason I really like

to lean towards these jobs for newcomers,

because unlike some of the things we see

with data entry and transcription,

where those are really entry level jobs,

a lot of them don't even pay minimum wage either.

There are a couple out there that

you're looking at probably $3 an hour for your wage.

That's not something that we can live on today.

Because of that, customer service is something

that I encourage most people to take a look at,

if they can swing it, because these jobs,

in most cases, are going to be starting out

anywhere from $10 to $18 an hour.

Now as I mentioned before, these positions are flexible.

We have a lot of great companies that hire

for customer service remote positions,

and a lot of them are going to be

companies that you know.

Amazon, they have a big demand for

temporary seasonal positions usually in the fall.

Those start out at about $10 an hour.

Those positions, as I said, are usually

temporary and seasonal but they do usually last

about 6 months and they include

an employee discount as well.

American Express, they offer different types

of customer service positions.

Apple At Home, they offer tech support.

They do have chat positions available as well

if you prefer not to be on the phone.

You do need to, obviously, be familiar

with the Apple operating systems.

Another great company that you are

going to want to consider is Enterprise.

We have a lot of great companies

that are in the travel or moving industry,

such as Enterprise, U-Haul is another one, that hire.

Those positions are open frequently throughout the year.

So keep an eye on those too.

If you are a tax specialist

or come from an accounting background,

Intuit often hires for the tax season

for their TurboTax division.

Jackson Hewitt is another company

that occasionally has at home positions available.

If you are into department stores,

Neiman-Marcus and William-Sonoma

are two that offer positions.

Those can sometimes be more location dependent.

So you'll want to make sure that you check the states there.

There are some companies out there,

that may require on-site training

for a period of maybe, 6 weeks is

usually about the run for that.

So keep that in mind.

I know at the time that I'm filming this video,

Williams-Sonoma is hiring for people

within an hour and a half of their

Las Vegas call center.

Keep an eye open for some of those

more local positions as well.

You might find a great one that's near you.

I know I'm here in Nebraska,

and Hay Needle is one that hires

for people here in Nebraska.

There's also a hotel chain here in Nebraska

that hires for at-home agents

frequently throughout the year.

Those are some to keep an eye on as well.

We talked about background noise before.

If that's going to be an issue for you,

Yardi-Matrix is one that hires

a couple of seasons throughout the year.

These are short-term positions.

I believe it's fall and spring,

and maybe there's a winter season as well.

What those are doing is calling apartment complexes,

pretending to be a potential renter,

and getting information about the rentals

that they have available.

It's kind of like mystery shopping,

but for rental spaces, or apartments.

So keep that one in mind.

As I said, U-Haul is another one.

There are a couple of insurance companies

like United Health Group that hire at-home agents as well.

Keep an eye open for those.

I'm going to leave you a link here in the description

to a huge list of these companies that hire

at-home service reps for you to check out.

There'll be some more information within that list

as far as what they're looking for

and the type of jobs they offer.

If you want to expand your reach

and go beyond that list that I'm providing for you,

a couple of good sites that I like to follow

are Indeed.

If you do a search there for work at home,

customer service, or telecommute customer service,

it'll probably bring you back a lot of great leads.

Another one is FlexJobs.

That's my absolute favorite online job board,

simply because they research all of their leads.

Everything that they put on their site,

they've looked into it to make sure that

it's not a scam, that it's not a business opportunity,

and that it's really work at home.

You aren't going to run into anything

that people are trying to pass it off as work at home,

but it's really not work from home.

FlexJobs makes sure that all that stuff is off the table,

so you can really just focus on your applications.

Now, I hope after this video that maybe

customer service positions from home

sound a little bit more appealing for you.

One thing that a person in one of my

Facebook groups said recently,

really hit the nail on the head when she said,

"It's all about stepping stones."

A lot of work at home companies want to see

that you have prior work at home experience.

That's kind of a catch 22.

If you don't have work at home experience,

how are you going to get work at home experience?

As she said, it's about getting

that first one under your belt.

She said, "I took a job that I really didn't want

"in order to get the experience that I needed

"to get the next job.

"I used that job as a catapult to get me the next job.

Every one of them is just rungs on a ladder

to get you to where you're going online.

That's something that's really important to remember

if you're just starting your work at home journey.

You're not marrying these jobs.

The work at home world is really different

from the traditional employment world out there,

where your work at home job 10 years from now

is not going to be what you're starting with now.

What I started at 10 years ago

is totally different from where I am today.

It's all about just taking the next step,

and taking the next step, and taking the next step,

to get where you're going.

You may find that where you want to go eventually

isn't where you're starting out,

and that's totally okay.

This world gives us the opportunity

to try a lot of different things

in a very short period of time,

without a big commitment.

That's something that I want you to take advantage of.

These positions may not be your dream job,

but they may help you to get to the one that is.

If you liked today's video,

I hope that you will give it a like and a share,

and make sure you're subscribed so you get a notification

of when my next video's available.

Until then, I wish you most success online.

#JustDanceSweat - challeging myself with Just Dance - week 3 (with English subtitles) - Duration: 7:14.

what's up, guys, I'm SoToSendoCadu

and today I'm giving one more update on the #JustDanceSweat

if you don't know, the hashtag #JustDanceSweat is a challenge

made by the Just Dance Team

and the idea is to post a creative pic or video

while using or after using Sweat mode from Just Dance 2018

and you may win prizes

do you want to join the challenge? post your video or pic

until Wednesday, so, hurry, hurry, else...

you'll get flurry

"hurry, else you'll get flurry" (?)

but, as I always say

I decided to use the hashtag in my life

because I was sedentary, so I'm using Just Dance

as a type of exercise

so, from Monday to Friday, I'm playing for at least half a hour each day

and I'm telling my experiences with it

the first thing I feel I need to say is

I've noticed that

my disposal to dance several songs, song after song, is getting higher

in this week, my resistance improved

some maps I felt I'm dancing

more energic then ever

it's really nice to see this improvement

on Monday

I can say for sure it was the best Monday session for now

previous Mondays, I felt "dead" after some songs or I felt some pain

and this time I don't remember felling anything alike

one of my Instagram followers suggested me

to dance Kissing Strangers - Alternate version

and I spent more than 40 kcal on that song

thanks for the tip, João

the amount of calories I spent I guess was the greastest

from the sessions I played closest to 30 minutes

on Tuesday

I danced to more songs than usual, I played 12

perhaps, because of the daily challenge

but I guess it was good thing to do

because it was one of the sessions I hanged on the longest

and last week I said that

if you want to feel your session is being productive

to pick longer songs

I've never noticed how long Automaton is

the classic map, at least

takes more than 4 minutes

fun fact: the majority of the songs I picked

were asian-like maps

and on Tuesday I had a problem

during Fancy (alt. version)

the map stopped, that "stop to download" thing

it stopped, but it came back, so

it wasn't a big deal

and I had the same issue with Leila

and back to Automaton, it was the first time I played the Tomato Version map

I spent more than 40 kcal

on Wednesday

I was pretty dead

I got pretty tired on that day

and the session just showed that

I was feeling I wasn't doing my best, you know?

and I ended up picking 2018's songs primarily that day because

it was raining at the time, it's sorta heavy rain

and it was the first time I tried Another One Bites The Dust - Alternate

I thought it's pretty cool, I just regret I wasn't disposed enough

to execute it properly

Thursday was

a decent day

and Mi Gente was released that day, I thought it's pretty nice

and, again, I had issues with Unlimited

but it was worse than Tuesday's

because on Thrusday, I tried to play Summer

but in the middle of the song, the map stopped

it appeared that message saying it couldn't connect with Ubisoft's server

delicious

when this kind of issue happens

the games goes back to the main menu

deactivating Sweat's calories counter

so, if I wasn't taking pictures of the screen after each song because of these vlogs

I probably wouldn't know

How much time is missing to get to 30 minutes

it's wonderful, it's great, whatever...

then I decided to pick mostly 2018's songs

i didn't want the counter to restart one more time

the last two songs I decided to give Unlimited a chance

and with those songs I didn't have any problem

and the cool part is one of those songs was Single Ladies

I think I've never felt so energic

playing that song and, at it's end, I wasn't dead

because I used to feel dead after playing Single Ladies

after it, but this time...

I won't say I was 100%, but I was fine

and it's great to see this kind of improvement

Friday

I thought the session wouldn't be that great

because I took a nap before playing

I was tired

but it was a good session

I thought I choosed a little bit more intense songs

something I think it's good to share is

as I play with Kinect and I had that problem

when Sweat mode was on and I tried to

use the voice command to start the song

after some songs, the game would crash

so I started to activate the song by the controller

so I start the song, put the controller somewhere

and I play the map

but if you don't wait a little bit

specially, if you don't wait for that white screen with the game's title to appear

it may switch the player

it's like it haven't set your position yet

so if you move while the game is setting your position to the coach you want to play with

it'll probably associate you with other player

when I played Bubble Pop! I didn't realize it happened at first

and, during that part when

each coach does her "solo" move

a little bit before that part

that I realized the game assign me as the coach on the right instead of the one in the middle

then I started to do the moves of the P3

luckly most of the moves are the same for all coaches

I had the connection issue with Unlimited again

I tried to play Chiwawa - Barbie version

and the map froze for good

the calories counter was restarted

just to rebel a little bit, I tried to play the map again and it worked

but, after that, I tried to play Diggin' In The Dirt

and, as I had the same connection issue

I picked only 2018's songs, "that's it"

I hope you enjoyed this video

if you want to join the #JustDanceSweat challenge

don't forget to post your creative photo or video

on social media with the hashtag until the 28th, until Wednesday

if you enjoyed this video, don't forget to like to help me

and subscribe to this channel, if you're new here

next week I'll post the last update of this

weekly challenge I made to myself

don't forget to put in the comments below any suggestion, doubt, comment

see ya, and don't forget to be nice to your mates
