Getting started with Squarespace - Printful - Duration: 3:31.

Let's look at connecting Squarespace to Printful.

Before connecting the two platforms, you'll need to create accounts on both.

So, if you're not yet a Printful user, go to our website and create your free account

and do the same for Squarespace!

There's a link for both in the description below.

Note that Printful's direct integration is only available for advanced Squarespace

online store users.

Once you have created your account head to your settings by clicking here, then under

the section "website" click "advanced".

Here click "API Keys" and "create key".

Give your new key a name - we suggest that you call it "Printful" for easier management

later on.

Select and copy the API key by pressing "ctrl+c" and head to your Printful account.

In dashboard click "stores", then "Choose platform" and select Squarespace.

In this field paste API Key you generated on Squarespace and hit "Connect".

And now you have connected Printful to your Squarespace online store.

Note that your products will be imported only when an order for a specific variant is placed.

However, if you have pending orders from the last 24 hours on Squarespace and you're

connecting it to Printful, products from these orders will also populate this section.

To create a product you have to go back to your Squarespace website.

Click "inventory" and up here "Add product".

Select a page where you want these product to be shown, select "physical" as product

type in this window.

Enter product name, for this example we will call it "Printful T-shirt".

Write a description, add tags and categories.

We will insert image as well, this was created using Printful's mockup generator, link

in the description below.

Now it's time to setup pricing and variants for your products, so click here.

Insert your desired selling price in this field, and add different variants.

This time we will add different sizes - small, medium and large.

There are many more options you can adjust here, so be sure to check them out, but we

will stick to the basic ones.

Click "Save&Publish" to make it accessible at your website.

Now another thing to note is that when orders start coming through from Squarespace they

won't automatically be fulfilled.

The first order for every products variant will show up as an "unsynced product"

under the newly created Squarespace store you connected in Printful.

To get that order through you'll need to sync that variant and then submit that first

order manually.

To do just that click "Complete order" and "Sync product".

Select desired product and in this window you can select the color and size for the

specific variant as well as upload your design, resize and position it.

And when you're done click "continue".

After the product is synced any future orders for the same variant will go through automatically.

If you don't want to import certain products to Printful, simply click "Ignore products."

If the variant is ignored - any future orders with this variant will not be imported.

Don't forget to set up your billing information in order for you purchases to go trough.

Thought I'd do a quick little video to show you something you probably don't see

all the time.

If you're working in the construction industry

especially if you're a plumber you'll know this.

You don't need to watch this video.

But for those of you that are homeowners those of you that don't deal with this sort

of stuff at all.

I want to show you what a water connection looks like.

What a water connection from the house how it connects into the main.

We haven't done a shell but it's come past but we're working at

the house next to it here and I saw it dug up, someone's already exposed it.

So it's just called a water tap in.

And I'll just show you what it looks like.

Come and have a look.

So, the black pipe there is your water main.

That is the water main itself.

And see the connection in?

See the copper pipe?

That is a connection to the house.

So the house, the water meter is

just there.

So it goes from the water meter so the tap side of the water meter

is where it connects into the main.

So it goes from the water meter

over

and then dives down into the main.

If you have a look in there you'll see the the tapping itself.

Zoom in

That is how the water itself is connected to the main.

So that is your water main there and that's the connection going over to the house.

And you'll see over there that is a telephone conduit

and there's a new sleeve over the conduit because I reckon they've hit it.

They've dug when they've dug down they've damaged it

and they've put a new sleeve over it to fix it

protect it.

So yeah, for those of you that work in the construction industry

or plumbers I should say you'll see this sort of stuff all the time.

So, this won't matter to you.

But for those of you that are homeowners or those of you that don't

have never seen a tap in before that is what it looks like.

Avalanche strikes hiking party, killing 1 and burying 2 others|tick tock news|latest news|top news| - Duration: 1:44.

A 32-year-old man was killed and several others were injured Sunday after getting caught in

an avalanche near Mirror Lake in Washington state, authorities said.

The deceased, identified as Joseph Simenstad of Issaquah, Washington, had been sledding

with his wife and four friends near the city of Cle Elum "when the slope above them broke

free," police said.

Simenstad, his wife, and another man were "fully buried" by the avalanche at one point,

and two others were partially buried before rescuers were able dig them out, the Kittitas

County Sheriff's Department said in a Facebook post Sunday.

One of the hikers was found unconscious but was resuscitated, and two others suffered

"minor injuries," the department said.

"On behalf of the Sheriff's Office, our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends

of Mr. Simenstad as they work through the loss of their loved one," said Clay Myers,

an undersheriff for Kittitas County.

"We would like to remind those of you who recreate in the back country to be cautious

of the past and current conditions, as they can change rapidly and without warning."

The conditions on the mountain where the hikers were struck were considered "extremely hazardous,"

Myers said.

The county's avalanche center recommended "no one go into that area due to the conditions."

"We are pulling in only those who are trained and equipped for these conditions," he said,

referring to rescue crews.

today I have seven tricks or tips for using a day really straighter win logo

designing so follow along and learn these seven tips they're gonna help you

when you're designing logos in Adobe Illustrator what is that people welcome

back to tutorial graphics the home of graphic design content right here on

YouTube let's waste no more time and let's drove right into today's tutorial

on seven tips or tricks when designing a logo in Adobe Illustrator the first logo

design table illustrator is about being organized an organized designer it's an

efficient designer and this tip will help you out for sure when designing a

logo in illustrator with many objects components you might want to take a look

at the layers window if you assign a relevant name to each object as you

design your logo you'll be able to select specific areas with ease to edit

the name of a layer simply double-click here and then go in and enter a name in

this instance I'm changing a type of I've made so yeah you can click each

layer to highlight it allocate specific object quickly

you can see how this trick will be useful for your logo design projects

there are also a few settings here such as flattening in the artwork and so

forth

one absolutely huge trick or tip for Logo designing illustrator is to

familiarize yourself with the keyboard shortcuts now you can look on Google for

a list of shortcuts we can search YouTube for tutorials such as mine but I

will name a few of the main ones you want to keep in mind for local designing

if you press P this will allow you to access the pen tool really quickly and

then if you press X it will talk between the stroke and the fill and the bottom

left of your screen if you then press Shift + X together it's literally going

to change the fill in the stroke which is very handy indeed so let's draw a

shape really quickly with the pen tool and then you can press a for the direct

selection tool and then V for the selection tool and you can also use the

shift out shortcut that we mentioned just now and the shape will alternate

between a stroke and a fill so there are a few shortcuts you want to keep in mind

for later designing my point here is to familiarize yourself with all the

shortcuts where as many as possible when designing a laker illustrator this next

illustrator tip or trick is one I've mentioned a few times in this channel

but it helps you a lot of later designing you might not be a pen tool

master and if so you can use the smooth tool here however you first must have

the line or the object selected and then locate the smooth tool you then roughly

draw the direction you wish to take the line an illustrator for smooth and the

path like so this is an amazing tool especially for people who are just

learning to use illustrator and the basics

he was a recent liquor design that I created for a client this next tip or

trick in Illustrator will help you be precise and on point with your designs

you probably know that hitting command or control R is going to open up the

relays and then once they open you can bring down guides they'll help you align

objects and be very precise however we can actually open an entire

grid like so now you can design your Lakers with total precision you have

multiple lines and guides across the entire board to design and figure our

work alongside so nice instance here I can change the logo type to be the exact

same length as the logo symbol itself

now I advise you guys to start designing your logos with the grid open from the

get-go it's a real awesome tool for local

designing in Illustrator

the fifth tip for logo design illustrator is another built in setting

head up to destroy the preferences at the top of your screen and then you go

and head to smart guides you can see what settings that I'm using here this

basically will help you to be even more precise with your work and make a design

life that much easier if I now take objects with vector paths the gentle

guides are going to appear when certain things are aligned centered and so forth

of course you can customize the settings for your needs having at least some

smart guides activated it's a great idea for Lego design illustrator

you may have several designs on several boards but with the asset tool you can

save them all at once as different designs simply open up the assay export

window and then drag and drop your designs into the window but first check

out the different options that you have such as saving for pinching jpg had also

presets iOS and Android once you've dropped your designs in hold down shift

and select multiple designs at once and then click export when ready the default

location P logo design files should be Creative Cloud

as you can see all the liquor designs here has saved a separate designs which

saves a whole lot of time I love this label eccentric as I often use it myself

the final tip for logo design illustrator is a biggie I know some

designers who don't even use the pen tool for most local designs they only

used this tool for creating the actual shapes I have a collection of shapes

here and I've made sure that they're perfectly aligned and meet smoothly

intersections this is important and you need to be precise when you work in this

way for logo designing if I then select everything I can take the shape builder

tool by default it has the plus icon above the cursor which means we can join

shapes together and I will show you how that works now

if you then hold down the alt/option key a - icon will appear and this will -

certain areas of design and remove them

if you've seen this tool before on this channel I'm sorry but this list of logo

design tricks isn't complete without included now that can add a fill to my

final shape which would have been a pain to crave with the pen tool what would

have taken a longer time pressing command or control Z will take us back

some steps and now I can make a different shape using both aspects of

the shape edit or you can use her shortcuts from earlier in this tutorial

to change the stroke to a fill and then remove any unwanted areas
