Waching daily Feb 1 2019

Oh, I've made a mistake! Might have forgotten that if it was his son.

It probably gained us a lot of war score. And now that war score is gone.

Welcome back folks to another exciting edition of

Let's play Crusader Kings 2 Holy Fury.

As always I'm your host JSquared Jon Jeremy.

And last we left off: We've been starting to invade the

neighboring territories to our west. We took control of Vasyugan and Narim

And now we're making our way over to

Bolshoy Yugan part of the Ishim territory.

And we'll probably take out Bolghar as well along the way.

Our main army here is making its way over, to the neighboring territory here.

We've got... actually gonna switch this up.  Put our ruler in charge here.

Burkhan, do I want Burkhan? Yeah I want Burkhan.

And then meanwhile our other force is still making its way back over from...

Is it making it's way back over? Or is it home yet? Where is our other army? I've lost it now.

No, it was not. It was still, up here I want to say. Yes. Ok. So they're up here.

They're making their way back over. Meanwhile this army is going to attack.

I believe I was considering, now that I remember...

Declaring a war...

Oh, no!

I have to declare a war against Bolghar.

In order to grab control of that territory over there. And I can't declare a war,

because we have our units already in this territory.

So that's not going to work out too well for us.

Regardless, let's continue our campaign here.

So that'll arrive in July. This army is making it's way over. I think they're chasing me. Well at least they're trying to.

That won't work. Ever.

Betrothed can marry. Gurbessu and Khan Bolkhadar.

You really don't like me.

Gurbesu...

She probably won't have any kids.

Except that...

If they don't have any kids then there's a possibility i might be able to regain that territory.

Uh oh. Tengri Bogu has declared a war...

for a couple of counties....

On Khagan Tura.

So that's gotta be where?

Yangikent, Syganak, Otrar.

I don't recognize the names. Oh! THere they are.

So he's fighting Sibir. Ok. Got it.

Very good.

They're married now. Hey! Ibakha I told you you'd be released. You've just been publicly humiliated through.

No harm, no foul. Right?

Let's see here. Alchidai, Hoelun is married, yes.

Ibakha, you need a marriage. Let's see, who's gonna be a good

marriage candidate for you.

Where are you?

You are... Down in Tibet. That's interesting.

What's... what's the marriage... ewww...

That's not so good. Ok, we'll hold off on her for a little bit. I think we can get better.

And we're sieging that territory.

Why we decided to siege that one and then that one I don't know. But OK.

Good job Jon.

Assault that holding. Thank you so much. Grabbed some prisoners.

Are always fun as always. Are always fun as always.

Not quite the right words there Jon? You know what is the right words though?

RANSOMS!

Are the right words! It is hard to feel proud when one has nothing to be proud of.

Why should I be proud of myself? Loose the trait of proud. Aww. We want prestige.

Prestige is good. We're at 3800 right now. Excellent.

Can I? No, can't build up my horde.

Maximum manpower reached.

I have noticed that, since joining the Eagle Warriors,

my son has been avoiding his responsibilities as a courtier to focus entirely on martial arts. If this keeps going like this,

he will soon be unfit to even administer a pig farm. War is more important.

This will not do. Uhh... yeah that's fine.

Bokhadar Bayad has declared Bayad conquest of Khargai,

on Tengir Bogu. You're trying to grab a territory?

You can't do that without my authority. Without my approval!

Son of a gun! He's trying to get more powerful.

I don't like it.

Are you still raiding? Can't raid that one. That's right.

And these guys have already been looted. Alright, no more raiding for you.

Go head back home.

We have to get ready for our own war against the Uyghurs. Because that's coming soon too.

Very good .

That's right they did.

Assault that holding. Victory, no prisoners though.

Offer peace, enforce my demands. Gain a 100 prestige. Gain 50 piety.

And Tengri moral authority.

Thank you so much. Another piece of land for the Otuken.

Now we are going to pillage!

Pillage!

Rampaging horde. OK. So... we've got a truce with you now.

We've got a truce with you now. Can we do anything with Sibir?

Declare a war of... on Sibir. Why?

Conquest of Tara. Oh. Grabbed that territory there.

Same thing.

We can establish Sibir as a tributary.

They're the rulers of Kimak. This group here.

Conquest of Om. So we can actually do two wars here.

We can attack him for Om. And we can attack him for Tara.

We've got our armies... They're here, you know. They're ready to go. I think

it's a good opportunity for us to do that. Conquest!

And we're going to... where's your capital? Right there.

Gonna declare a war on you as well.

Everyone's all like, let's do it! For once.

Cool. Those guys will go there. And we'll send that army over down to Kimak.

And that should be good. I like it. I like it a lot. Now...

we can raise the Chinese honor guard if we want to.

We can call the steppe. Which I will do. I think it's about that time.

Our Clan grows. Gain some population and manpower. Which we'll need to replenish our

soldiers.

Is? Are you the? Yeah, you're the one who's the son of Li Lian.

You're the one I want as my heir, truthfully. So I need to make sure you get...

You get prestige.

I think we're also gonna go ahead and search for a Smith.

Not for any new weaponry or anything like that. But just to continue to build up our treasury.

I think you can stack... I'm pretty sure you can stack

monthly prestige on top of each other. So we're just gonna keep...

And since we have, you know, over 2000 gold.

I think we'll continue to... craft jewels. And other... niceties.

To build up our prestige. Because we do want to, hopefully,

within Jurchedei's lifetime, found a bloodline.

I know we haven't really talked about that yet. But if we have

the opportunity to do so. We definitely want to take it.

Absolutely.

These are gonna arrive down there. There's Kimak's warriors.

Now keep in mind we're also... we've got to look out for the Uyghur forces too.

There they are, they're making their... nope. That's Bayad.

Alright, so we've got combat coming in. Right over here. Looks like we're gonna be attacking them on their territory.

Yep. By a day. Which should be fine. WHOA!

That group is now under the control of...

Oh he just surrendered. He didn't even become a tributary. He was just like 'Alright I'm done.'

Can't have that now.

Ok. So we've got that going on right now.

Legend is currently at 49%. Got a battle!

Let's go ahead and...

Take out this army here.

What just happened?

Did she just?

Slain by Toregene Ayanga in personal combat.

What's Toregene doing killing people? Toregene! A duel victory.

Oh, and fueled by rage apparently.

Not really sure she's raging about. But sure why not? It's pretty funny. Alright there we go.

Now we're assaulting their territory, switch these guys over

to our main forces.

This group here can assault the holding. BOOM!

Let's see now. Got any good ransoms from that group?

10 gold, 10 gold, 10, 10, 10.

110! And you've got a 148 gold! Alright! There we go.

That sounds like a plan. This group now, make your way over to... that's right...

He's got several territories it's annoying now.

Go ahead and go

down south. Because that will lead you to Kimak as well.

This army here will take out this force. That's right you do, hold on. I want that 110 before it goes away.

110!

Oh I've made a mistake...

Might have forgotten that it was his son. It probably gained us a lot of war score. Now that war score is gone.

I mean we got the gold for it. But, you know. Kind of a thing I guess.

Sure. Whoops.

Well that's OK. We could still take car of business here.

Another battle going on here.

During the last few days, I have overheard the same conversation again and again.

Apparently,  a most renowned Goldsmith is traveling through Otuken

and my courtiers are prattling excitedly about is work.

Perhaps I should invite this man and employ his services?

Begter the Goldsmith. Who is greedy, proud, wroth...

will not marry.

Nothing displays authority like fine jewelry.

The goldsmith, Begter, courteously accepted my invitation and arrived at court a mere week later.

He has presented me with some sketeches of his previous work

and several letters of recommendation. I am assured of his skill, although

I ask myself just how much money I can spare for a set of crown jewles.

On and all shall see the indisputable might of house Ayanga!

I could spend that much gold. Absolutely.

Let's see now. Go ahead and ransom you off.

More ransoms? No. The battle of Tui.

Our ongoing struggle outside of Tui Tribe has brought out the best of our military strategists.

One of them is a Mongol veteran with a penchant for innovation.

He is suggesting that he retire from the battlefront and return to Uvs

to continue his work, safe from flying arrows.

That sounds like a solid investment. Loose 45 gold. Gain 30 military technology points.

and our military technology spread rate increases by 50%

for 10 years. Or we gain...

This guy as a commander.

I'll take the points. It's not like I can really do much with them anyway.

You know. We're getting closer, but we

don't really gain much in the way of technology. Right now. We'll just have to, hopefully,

get more of those events overtime. Apparently clans want more land.

Why? I didn't even gain more territory yet.

Uriankhai, let's see what you got.

Uriankhai has... these territories over here.

So I'll tell you what. We'll give you... Belukha.

There you go. That takes care of that.

Doregene has finished her education in the ways of war.

Excellent. So we beat back that army now. We'll go ahead

and move this army in this direction here.

It's just going to be a longer war than usual because they're pretty spread out.

Luckily they don't have enough power to send any of their armies far away.

Which is good.

Very good.

Any more prisoners?

As I was walking towards Master Begter's smithy

I could not hear the sound of progress,

but instead the sound of voices talking.

I found Begter and my daughter Ibakha discussing different metals and their compositions.

All this talk was making my head spin

and definitely halting the progress of the work I have ordered. At least he's not trying to seduce my wife.

There is no harm in Begter taking some time to help Ibakha.

What does Begter think he's doing!

This is not why he is here.

Nope, not worth it.

Not worth it. If it was a son it would be a different story. If it was the heir, obviously.

But not worth it for Ibakha. Considering

we're even gonna keep her.

Alright let's see. Did our Uriankhai guy just die? That would suck.

No he did not. His father did.

Yeah. I'm worried about when our clan leaders die because all the great relations we've built with them.

By giving them territory, will...

No longer be the case. New king of Germany! King Eribo!

Has inherited the kingdom of Germany from king Ruadbert

Wha'cha doing? Wha'cha doing there Kimak?

I see you! I see you trying! I see you trying! Let's call in our allies here.

Bayad will likely decline, but everyone else will likely accept. How do you have 1700 & 50 men?

Another battle coming up here.

I need to kill of that family or something.

Alright success there.

We're now looking to assault this holding. Very good.

There's no other territory around there right. Just these guys, OK?

So let's go ahead and move you off over to Kimak. So we can finish off that war.

Because I think he's gonna try and make a B line for my capital. Can't have that.

This force is about to arrive over here.

In Kazakh, Kazakh has already been looted, so it should be very easy to take.

You even grabbed some prisoners out of that. Excellent. Why is it only 23% war score though?

That is strange. Considering we have captured

pretty much all of his holdings. Bit concerned by that.

Oh no! Khagan of Chimgi Tura

died of severe stress. Was that one of mine?

No. OK. That was this guy. Over here.

Now we have Khagan Saru of Chimgi-Tura. Knuckle-slammer died.

Ok. ''Good news my Khagan!''

Begter said excitedly! The goldsmith has informed me that precious metals and gemstones have been located in a nearby province.

If we send an expedition, it could increase the quality of the crown jewels we are currently crafting. What?

Spend money to potentially get even better crown jewels than you originally ordered. I don't know about this.

I spent 300 gold already, which should get me quality level 3.

So if there's? Is there a quality level 4?

For jewels? There better be!

There better be Begter! Otherwise I'll have your head. I will have your head.

Meng... Targhutai Mengu-Timur was slain by Jochi Otuken in personal combat.

Emperor, how ya doing?

Send a gift of coin?

Arrange a marriage? Let's see.

Gzi and Ibakha. This is for Chimgi-Tura, which we already have a pact with, don't we?

No we don't have a pact with them! Oh I see! Decline.

Because I'm gonna grab your territory. If I no longer have a pact with you. Yeah, looks like he's coming.

He's making his way over towards me. Slowly but surely.

OK, we're nearly there at that, that territory over here.

Which is good. I don't see

where there are other pieces of territory that Sibir has. So I'm not sure why

it's only a 23% war score. But OK.

Nope! Nope! Nope! Oh! Oh! Oh! There's his army! Turn it around! Get 'em!

Assault that holding. Nice! Lot's of more prisoners.

30% War score we'll go over to Kimak with that army.

And we will ransom, with the time we have remaining.

Lot's of prisoners. Oh! Ransom!

I was overcome by excitement and curiosity when Begter informed me the crown jewels were completed!

As I am waiting in my throne for his servants to carry the great box across the room

I struggle not to leap up and meet them half-way. When I finally touch the heavy lid, my hands are shaking...

Regalia worthy of a true Khagan!

Adds Hero's Crown and Axe of the Ancestors!

So we got 2.

But it looks like you can't...

Well shoot.

Oh, these are quality level 4 now, I see so quality level 4.

Monthly prestige is 0.7, this is 0.5

increases feudal vassal opinion.  Ok so...

We definitely want to equip that one. And equip that one.

I was thinking it was gonna be like one of these things. Which just kind of sits there.

But I guess not. Then we've got our masterful short sword.

And...

Has one ax in one hand and one sword in another.

He's wearing the warden. OK. Now what do we do with these guys?

Do we still get the extra prestige from that?

No. I don't think so. Hold on. Speed up time here for a second.

We don't so master... so hero's crown, ax of the ancestors, we only get one of those.

So now we know what we can do with the others. We can..

either give them to somebody to increase our relationship with them.

Which we don't really need to. Except I need to improve my relationship with you.

We'll send you a pittance of gold.

We could send them to the emperor! Cause he likes that sort of stuff.

Send my hero's crown, we gain

375 grace with the Tang empire. I'm OK with that.

The protector general of the honoured emperor addresses a letter to the illustirous Khagan of the Khaganate of Otuken. Heaven's blessings upon thee.

The heavenly Li Heng, Emperor Zhaozong of the Tang Empire.

Has graciously accepted your gift. The generosity of the Ayanga dynasty will not be forgotten.

Anything to please the Emperor.

And looks like I can send him another one. I will send him both.

So now we have over 1000 grace.

With the Li dynasty.

And because of that we can now... uhh, let's see. We already have a peace deal. We don't need that.

We already have a court physician, we don't need that either.

We can't request a trade contract. Because it requires 2000 grace.

And we must have a realm province located on the Silk road.

Where is said Silk road? Let's see so basically...

Down at the Western Protectorate territories. We would need to

grab or... Like... once we get over to...

Wow, he just, he grabbed all those territories. That's why he wanted them.

They're all a part of his trade zone. We need like, this territory up here.

If we want to do that.

We can also... let's see...

A master engineer will improve your domain with powerful province modifiers.

While employed, they will build constructions and machines throughout your domain.

adding various bonuses to your economy, military and technology.

We don't need a scholar bureaucrat.

Don't need...

a strategist either.

I'll hold off for now. It's good that we have it though.

Definitely good that we have it.

Ransoms are being payed.

That guy is breaking the siege there, I don't like it.

Alchidai's training. I have noticed that since joining the Eagle Warriors. My son has spend bearably any time at court,

learning to act as his rank demands. Being in contact with all these

coarse fighters  is making him adopt mannerisms that are unfitting of his stature.

As long as he learns to fight. Sure.

More ransoms!

What's this?

To the most excellent Khagan Jurchedei, may you live in harmony and contentment.

Very good. Start of the viking age!

The centralization of power in Scandinavia, along with a rapid population expansion,

has begun to drive its denizens to look

beyond the home shores in earnest. New developments in

shipbuilding and adventurous spirit and a fearless

belief in the gods are now taking Norse seafarers across the seas towards

distant lands. They arrive as traders, raiders and conquerors.

and they call themselves Vikings.

From the fury of the Northmen deliver us!

The Viking age has now begun. They can receive shipyards, increased shipbuilding technology

and they get new casus bellis. But!

We don't care about that. They are too far away. Now, we're about to attack this force over here.

And we are about to capture this territory right here.

Which we have now done. That war is going to be over. Cool.

Finish that off before he attacks my territory. And we'll go and finish off this one.

This last war against Sibir. Next time.

How To Use Android Without Google? - Duration: 5:59.

Recently, Google has been in and out of a lot of controversies.

And the last one, was related to location tracking where we discovered that, even if

we turn off the location button on our Android phones, Google would still be able to track us.

And this was only recent times, Google has made a lot of such "mistakes" concerning

our, data and trust.

So, if you ever thought of removing Google from your smartphone, great!

because you are not alone.

Hey friends!

I am CJ from Fossbytes.com and today, I'll be telling you some different ways to

de-google your smartphone.

I'll also be talking about few alternatives for Google services, that you can easily use

on your Android device so stay tuned till the end.

Now, without any further ado, let's get started

Google might be big and strong but there

are many ways to shun Google, from your Android device.

We will start with the easiest one that is - Blinding Google

It's not a term, it's just something that I came up with.

Anyway, it basically means hiding yourself and your phone from Google.

And yes, it can be a difficult task, not because it's tough to hide from Google but because

there are so many options, that need to be toggled off.

So we'll quickly discuss all of them, starting with Google tracking --

For those who don't know, Google by default, tracks our location,

search queries, device, information et cetera.

But, keep listening and you will be able to turn off all these settings.

Just head over to your Android settings - then Google - Tap on your account

And then go to data tab and toggle off all the options under

Web and App activity.

Here, you will notice how Google, pitches the grand idea of personalized experience.

Now, I am not denying that the Google assistant isn't great, or the web sync isn't helpful.

But the point of concern is what data sacrifices are we making on a continuous basis

for these, so-called "personalized experiences".

Let's take an example of your travels.

Now google already knows your flight details and accommodation details,

but where's the full stop?

In no time, you will start getting ads related to your whole travel itinerary.

So if this data sacrifice, concerns you even a bit, then while you're on the Google account

page, don't forget to clear all your Google activity.

This will clear all your search data Google has on you.

(hopefully)

Since it's about hiding from Google, I don't think keeping the Google Sync enabled would

be a wise choice, so let's disable that too.

For that, you'll need to go to your Google account and toggle off all the apps and services

The final step would be, getting rid of Google apps.

Now, I know it can be tough for many of you, because apps like Google assistant

and google chrome, are the daily drivers.

But let's face it, Android without google simply cannot happen, if Google apps are not

done with.

So, you can uninstall or disable google apps, depending upon the device.

Now, this is the point, where Google draws the line because there are many phones don't

let you remove Google apps in any manner.

Basically, at this point, Google apps turn into bloatware - A term

coined for pre-installed apps that cannot be removed from the phone,

through standard ways.

If you're stuck at this step, what you can do is read our article on "how to remove

bloatware from Android".

Also, comment below if you want me to make a video on that.

Moving on to a bit severe step that you can follow for removing Google or Google apps,

basically anything you want out of the device.

That is Rooting Android.

Now, rooting is fun for people who know about it and a disaster for those who don't.

The fun part includes messing with apps, which in our case are the Google apps, installing

different Android flavors aka custom ROM and more.

The disaster part of it is that it can also do some irreversible damages.

For one, if rooting steps are not followed precisely, it may brick your phone.

Not to mention the fact that rooting smartphones immediately void your device warranty.

But If you ready to take the risks involved, then you can use this step to remove Google

from your smartphone.

I have mentioned some good links on rooting, in the description below.

If rooting is a bit too much, then let's talk about our last method to remove Google

from your device that is resetting it.

Now, I know resetting android phone can be a bit of a pain, especially when using Google

Backup is simply out of the question.

But as an alternative, there are hundreds of backup apps on Play Store that do the same

thing as Google backup so you can use them instead.

Coming back to resetting the device, one you do that just make sure you untick the Google

services which device asks at the beginning.

Otherwise, you will again have to deal with disabling all the google services.

Also, the google apps will still be there, so you will have to remove them manually.

So this was all about eradicating google from your life.

It doesn't matter if you reset the device, root it or simply turn off the Google services.

Just make sure you have some good Google alternatives in place.

here is a quick list of Google alternatives that I like to use -

For Google Play Store, I would recommend Apk mirror.

It has millions of apps on the platform and doesn't require your Google sign up.

The only problem with Apkmirror is that its a website so whenever you'll need to download

an app, you will have to use the browser.

And don't go and start using the Google browser.

Instead, I would say you should install the Tor browser.

It is one of the best browsers when it comes to data security.

As for Google search, Duck Duck Go is one of the best alternatives in my opinion.

It doesn't track your search queries and especially, doesn't give your data to advertisers.

For other Google services like Google maps, assistant, etc.

There are hundreds of apps available on Apk mirror.

By the way, F-droid is also a good choice as a Google Play Store alternative.

I would advise you to look for Google alternatives beforehand

otherwise, searching for good apps will get real tiresome.

So this was all about how to remove Google from your smartphone.

Ok friends, see you later. 😊

Documenting Life of an Influencer / Entrepreneur | Why I Started YouTube | a mary life 006 - Duration: 3:49.

Hey guys so I just wanted to jump on here fairly quickly to let you guys know a couple

of things I feel like I haven't, well not that I feel like, I didn't mention before

and that's really like the intention of this channel.

I really want it to be a place where I can of course share the information that I'm knowledgeable

of and I want to share with you guys to help you out, however I also want another portion

of this channel to be the process of growing, of essentially growing a business.

I feel like we see people successes, let me try to make this turn.

Okay, so I feel like we see, I feel like we see, what happened Jet?

You okay?

Okay, we end up seeing everyone in a place where they're already successful, but we don't,

it's rare that we actually get to see the process of it all.

And I want to be able to document this next year and really not only for myself to see

the process, the progress of it all but also to give you guys an insight of what exactly

it is that I do and how time-consuming or difficult it may be at times or how fun it

is at times as well.

Living the life that I do, trying to build a brand, trying to build a business from home

I think it's something many people are interested in and not many people don't know where to

start or what exactly to do and I'm definitely no expert but I would like to document the

process so, trying to find parking.

So it can help someone else out there as well, out there in a similar position to mine that

is interested in growing a business, a brand online through social media so some of this

channel will be creating content, the other half will also be just documenting the process

of it all whether that's editing videos or editing photos for my blog or how I schedule

things, time management, different websites or tools that I use to make things more efficient

on my end, what I use to increase traffic for my blog or if is anything having to do

with what I'm doing the highs, the lows, the days that I feel like I can't do it, where

I'm doubting myself.

For the times I feel extra motivated.

I just want to be really real and honest about it all and not just see the glitz and the

glam and how easy it may appear to some that this lifestyle is when it's really not.

There is a lot of work put behind it.

I never really recognized it or appreciated it seeing other bloggers are other influencers

out there but when these cameras are off it's a lot of work behind it, it's a lot of little

things that to the normal consumer you're not really aware of.

So, it's not to discourage this life its more so just to give it a more realistic light.

But right now, I have to go shopping have so much stuff to buy, wow that was embarrassing,

my refrigerator is empty at the moment, so we got to go shopping right?

What do you want to buy?

"I want to buy toys."

You want to buy toys, we don't need toys.

"But I want toys."

But we have so many toys.

Oh man I just realized I was supposed to go somewhere else first.

I'm a mess.

The 2018 UN SDG Awards Finalists and Winners have a special message for all of you! - Duration: 1:52.

Feels like it's flown since the awards.

We were finalists in 2017.

It was an inspiring moment.

When I was called...

As the winner for the Includer award,

when I stepped out on to the stage,

I think I was in silence for 10 seconds...

very overwhelming.

We've held about 30 or so workshops across Ireland.

We completed the second edition of our SDG Advocate project.

We had 50 advocates involved in that project in a really in-depth eight month program,

where there were participants from Ireland, Tanzania and Vietnam.

We had events in Denmark, US, India and South Africa.

and so we've kind of grown the network

and that's almost doubled since we were involved in the Awards.

We were recently in Germany for three months doing the same work: domesticating and localizing the SDGs

We took the project back to Fiji.

When you are part of that virtual group of people

you really feel about... that you can...

That your crazy idea is actually not that crazy.

We would like to open a space called Lab 2030

so it can be a laboratory of innovative solutions for SDG implementation.

Since then we've hosted the second Together Symposium: Together 2018.

We took it to a different level

We had the co-founder of the Malala Fund join us in person

to talk about the importance of gender equality

Anyone that's considering

Participating and being part of the action Awards. I think there is a lot of value to

Being in that space to connecting with the people that you get to connect with

It allows people really to open their minds and think outside of our size

Que Vola ? Series I How Thibaud became "el Dibu" (Episode 2/5) - Duration: 11:31.

Paris, 2018. Three Cuban percussionists and seven French jazz musicians

recorded an unprecedented musical project named ¿Que Vola?

A few weeks later, five of the band's members meet up in Havana.

My name is Thibaud Soulas

I play double bass...

Jazz double bass.

I'm 43 years old

I landed in La Havana by pure chance.

It was a period in my life when I wanted to travel

I had saved a bit of money.

I told myself I was going to travel the world for a year.

I stayed for one month…

then two…then three… then two years!

I didn't visit another country.

I got married here to a Cuban woman.

with whom I had three magnificent children.

Today I'm divorced from the daughter,

but I haven't divorced from the mother-in-law!

They say that mother-in-laws can be hell…

But in my case, it's the opposite. We get on well.

The rumba is at 2am.

We'll perform a ceremony in memory of Macho.

And from 4 to 6am… rumba.

"So?" "In whose house?"

"In a house that we've rented"

"Close to La Victoria" "Dibu!"

Come on, let's go!

What?

Get a move on!

Ok, I'm coming.

My brother, at your place,

How long have I been waiting, doing nothing…

We're relaxing.

I got to know Barbarito through his father Macho.

I was taking a lesson with his father,

And he passed by to say hi after school,

And his father said to him: "Play us a little clave"

I realised straightaway that aged 9 or 10,

he was already an immense musician.

In the shadow of Barbarito's father,

I was like a little baby.

I learned how to talk, to walk,

because Cubans don't walk like us.

When they see us walking like we do,

they take the piss out of us.

So after a while, you try to walk and talk like they do.

I felt like a child, and because of that,

I was on the same level as Barbarito,

who was a child himself,

and was also learning to be a man.

Another thing that was fundamental to our relationship,

is that, despite the fact he was born right at the heart of rumba,

at the heart of Afro-Cuban music…

he was fascinated by it, just like me.

When I see him… It's like he's family

With Barbarito, I really have that feeling,

like he's a little brother, you know.

This is the man who changed my life.

For the better

Otherwise I would have carried on travelling round the world.

I wouldn't have stayed, if it weren't for him.

He knew how to catch you!

The king of Guaguanco, the real one.

He owned nothing…

"But he had everything." "He had heart."

"A bicycle." "That's it."

I'm feeling my age,

I feel the exhaustion of someone about to die

I ask the rumberos, when the drums start beating

They think about me.

Aye,

What an immense joy I feel, to the depths of the soul.

Because my friends are here,

All those I love from the bottom of my heart.

No, sir, I don't want any flowers,

celebrate me with joy, not sadness.

No sir, I don't want any flowers...

We often say to ourselves: "if only Macho could see us."

Then we tell ourselves that he is seeing us…

And that if he had imagined one day I would bring his little kid,

who came to play the clave,

to my little beginners' courses for Europeans who are getting into rumba

And one day we would do a project...

as great as ¿Que Vola?...

It wouldn't have left him unmoved.

He would have been super proud.

It's true that it's a beautiful story.

What I really like about La Havana,

is that I can see friends who are dear to me,

friends who I miss when I don't see them for a long time.

After so many years… I've been coming here for fifteen years…

the years go by and friendship grows stronger.

I think that what I also come looking for,

and what made me stay longer than expected,

is the care they take to invest as much intensity as possible

into the present moment.

What's up daddy-o?

How can we live a fantastic moment?

Right here, right now, with the little money we have?

And if we don't have any it's all the same.

Dibu, my bro,

"How long has it been?" "I can't even remember."

You know my friend…

I've always regretted

When you moved out,

That you weren't playing with Barbarito any more.

Because you had real talent,

A real gift for music,

something crazy…

At least as much as Barbarito

You were a kid, you were playing there in a little kid orchestra

Look at the bat, the beautiful bat, how it moves, that beautiful 'bat'.

Come bro, let's do a rumba for Macho…

This Tuesday.

Where?

In Santa Marta.

What time?

We're doing a cajon at 2am, and a rumba from 4 to 7.

With all the necessaries.

"Of course!" "For fun."

- Don't go forgetting all about it?

- Forget? Have you ever seen me do that?

Entering this world is amazing, that's true...

It's a bit like when I used to say of Macho

who gave me an hour-long lesson, but then took me along with him

for the rest of my life.

What I was most interested in,

was walking the streets of La Havana with him,

til five in the morning.

It's perhaps there that you really learn,

what you can't learn in France.

The particularity of life here, and the relationship with music.

A rumba can be born at any moment

waiting for a bus, sitting at some bar in some place or other.

And I have the impression that it's those moments that are the richest.

There where the music is born of itself.

Look at the dog!

He's dancing.

Here is Why You Should Never Watch The News! - Duration: 5:11.

On 13th of November of 2015, At around 9:16 PM, three suicide bombers struck outside the

national stadium of France in Paris during a football match. That was followed by several

mass shootings and a suicide bombing. 130 people died and over 400 (413) were injured.

It was the deadliest attack in France since the Second World War.

The entire world was frightened. Many world leaders and people issued statements, condemning

the attacks and vowing to stand by and support France.

But did you know that roughly three times that number of French citizens died on that

same day from cancer? You haven't heard about that and not a single

news channel talked about it even though that the number of people died was 3 times higher.

And that's because people die all the time from cancer. it's not breaking news, unlike

an insane man running and shooting people all around or blowing himself up.

And that's the problem with the news. News channels are not there to deliver you authentic

news that matters but rather they focus on events that would grab the most attention.

They talk about things that would make you emotional and watch more of that.

That's why when you watch the news, it feels like the world is a horrible place. People

are getting crazy all around the world because telling people that there are more likely

to die by a TV or a furniture falling at them than a terrorist act isn't as frightening

as massive shooting.

Here in the west or the united states, people are more afraid of terrorists than cars. But

if you look at the statistics, you will give it another thought. From 1975 through the

end of 2016, 3,438 have been killed by all terrorists while over 37133 people were killed

in car accidents in 2017 alone but no one is shouting that we should abandon cars. Here

is another fun fact, you are twice likely to be killed by an animal than a terrorist.

But news that we should get rid of all animals isn't going to get a lot of attention.

And you can't really blame them for that. It's not cheap to run a newspaper. You have

to got to hire writers, editors, graphic designers, journalists, reporters, buy a lot of expensive

equipment and rent a giant office for everyone to work in.

Someone has to pay for all of that. And since we are not ready to do that, we are not the

customers, so they have found another source of revenue which is advertising. And all that

these companies care about is to promote their products to as many people as possible. So

news organizations left with no choice to make money but to grab as much attention as

possible. Even if that means dramatizing unnecessarily news or only delivering the news that would

get most views.

And with the rise of internet, especially social media, that got even worst. Because

more people are scrolling through their newsfeed which means less people watching TV.

Internet created a huge hole in their pocket and now they have to find another way to make

money because online ads don't pay as much as TV ads.

At their peak, a 30-second TV ad during a popular show would cost you hundreds of thousands

of dollars but now with online ads, you can reach that number of viewers with a significantly

smaller cost. what do you think most companies did, they turned to the internet.

That forced news organizations to cut cost and focus more heavily on news that will generate

more attention even if they don't matter at all.

Videos with a lot of controversial statements will easily get more attention than carefully

analyzed and researched content. Social media algorithms purposefully promote

content that you are more likely to watch, thats why fake news easily get spread.

We have created an environment where it's really difficult for a professional journalist

to survive So when you are watching the news, you are

not really watching the news. But instead, you are watching a carefully created story

that has some truth to it to make you feel in a certain way so that you come back and

watch more of it. If you follow the news in such an environment,

you will mostly end up with a completely wrong perception about the world.

That's why I stopped watching the news in general and follow only what affects my life

directly and I would encourage you to do the same because it saves a lot of time.

Anyways, give this video a thumbs up if you have enjoyed, thanks for watching and I will

catch you in the next one.

IBS FOOD TO AVOID: What To Do When You Can't Avoid Your Triggers - Duration: 5:59.

Wendy Leung: What do you do when you can't avoid your IBS food triggers?

Watch this video to learn tips on how to prevent the worst flareup ever.

For the most helpful information you'll find about IBS online, subscribe to my channel

and hit the bell to be notified every Friday when I post a new video.

If you're terrified of mystery meals wreaking havoc on your gut, by the end of this video,

you'll know how to make the best out of a bad situation.

Wendy Leung: Holistic Health & Happiness Coach, Licensed Acupuncturist, and Powerhouse

IBS Conqueror, and I struggled with restaurant food too.

Now I teach my clients how to live life while healing their gut.

And now I'm sharing with you too.

Wendy Leung: In this series, we've talked about all different food groups and all the

major IBS triggers in them.

Last episode, we even shuffled and recategorized them into groups that are easier to track

and figure out.

But what if you're in a situation where you can't avoid eating the food that you know

trigger your symptoms, what do you do then?

Do social meals give you extreme anxiety?

Let me know my dropping a yes or no in the comments below.

Wendy Leung: So, say you're at a birthday dinner, it's somebody really important to

you, but there's a limited menu at the restaurant or you're over at someone's house and you

don't know all the ingredients in the meal.

You felt guilty about not going because you've already said no a million times before.

But even before you leave the house, you can feel your anxiety kicking in, worrying about

your bloating, your pain, your gas flaring up or having to run and hide in the bathroom.

If you're in a situation where you have little or no control over what you eat, there are

still a few things that you can do to make sure that your outing is as painless as possible.

Wendy Leung: Tip number one, make sure you eat.

I've heard from a lot of you that say that you avoid eating before going out because

you want to avoid setting off your symptoms, but that's actually the wrong approach because

you've got is already weak.

The more you starve your gut, the weaker it gets.

So you're actually doing more damage in the long run.

So if you don't want to risk eating mystery foods while you're out, just make sure that

you eat before you leave the house.

That way you have full control over what you're putting in your body, and you're making sure

that your gut is nourished.

Wendy Leung: Tip number two, breathe.

Take a few slow deep breaths before you leave the house, and again, before you pick up your

utensils to eat.

Breathing calms and opens your body relaxing your muscles and your gut and also helps

to calm the anxious thoughts that are going round and round in your brain.

By taking a few deep breaths before eating, it's like you're resetting your body and your

brain and you're telling it that it's okay to perform the task that's in front of you.

Wendy Leung: Which brings us to number three, repeat a mantra.

You are resilient and you've survived so much so far.

So, instead of focusing on the terrible things that could happen, that might happen, that

haven't happened yet, shift your focus and give yourself a positive mantra to repeat

before you leave the house and before you eat.

Repeating a mantra is a really good way to redirect your thoughts and emotions.

I really like this one, I am resilient.

Wendy Leung: Tip number four, warm up your gut.

Remember my TCM golden rule of thumb for a weak gut, warm, simple, cooked foods.

If you're able to, always pick a meal that follows this rule and also avoid as many of

your food triggers as you can.

If there aren't any warm options available, you can warm up your digestion by starting

with a soup or a cup of hot water.

Yes, I did say hot water and I order hot water at restaurants all the time, even if people

might look at me funny.

The reason being that tea and coffee can be potential triggers for you and so in order

to avoid that, you just want to have something warm to start up your digestion system and

water is a great start.

Wendy Leung: Tip number five, chew.

Digestion starts with your teeth.

In an ideal world, you would actually chew your food 30 times before swallowing but no

one really takes the time to do that anymore.

Take small bites and aim for at least 10 to 15 chews per bite.

By chewing for longer, you're signaling your gut that you're sending it food, and you're

also helping break down your food to make it easier for your weak gut to do its job.

Wendy Leung: So to recap, here are five things that you can do to control your IBS if you

can't control your food.

Number one, make sure you eat.

Number two, breath.

Number three, repeat a mantra.

Number four, warm up your gut.

And number five, chew.

I know that it can be really hard to get a handle on your IBS anxiety, so if you want

a tool that you can use to calm your mind before you leave the house, sign up for my

newsletter and I will send you one of my guided meditations right to your inbox.

Wendy Leung: And if you're at that point where you're sick and tired of your IBS taking over

your life, look into my Conquer IBS Reignite your Life mentorship program, because I teach

you everything you need to know to be able to put your IBS behind you for good.

Whether you work with me live or you sign up for the self study program, you'll be on

Both program links are in the description box too.

Wendy Leung: Okay, if you like this video, you know the drill, let me know by liking

it below and then let me know what your favorite tip was in the comments section below.

Also make sure that you share this with all of your fellow IBS conquerors because I want

to spread the word that IBS is completely manageable, and not only is it manageable,

you guys do it in 2019.

Revolutionary Books That Changed The World Forever - Duration: 7:16.

Can a book impact an entire generation?

Can stories created centuries ago still find a home in the fast-paced life of the modern

world?

Well, sometimes all you need are a few well-written books to inspire change.

And while any good book can feel life-altering, there are some truly remarkable books out

there that have changed the course of human history.

From scientific discoveries and creative minefields to stories that capture the horrors of war,

some books have left the world with a deep impression that doesn't seem to be going

away any time soon.

Here are some of the books that have changed the world.

Aesop's fables by Aesop Have you ever wondered who came up with the

classic stories of 'The Ant and The Grasshopper' or 'The Boy Who Cried Wolf?'

Or do you consider them as a part of the public oral tradition, with nobody to claim their

origin?

Well, turns out that both these stories, along with many other classic children stories,

can be traced back to Aesop, who lived as a slave in ancient Greece between 620 to 564

BCE.

It is not clear whether Aesop compiled these stories or wrote them.

Whatever the case may be, it is undeniable that these morality tales, often involving

animals, have shaped countless childhoods all around the globe.

Despite cultural or language barriers, Aesop's fables like 'The Tortoise and The Hare,'

and 'The Fox and The Crow,' among many others, are known all over the world to this

day.

Their continued popularity throughout the centuries has undoubtedly proven that slow

and steady wins the race.

The Second Sex by Simone de Beauvoir Simone de Beauvoir sat down to explore 'What

is a woman?' through her books and inadvertently became a birthing point for the second wave

of feminism.

Admired by many and reviled by many more, The Second Sex boldly claims that man is always

considered the default, and woman is understood only in relation to man.

This book was so controversial at the time that The Vatican even put it under its List

of Prohibited Books.

Kind of makes you want to read it even more, doesn't it?

The Second Sex was a significant breakthrough in feminist philosophy.

It went beyond the property and voting rights advocacy put forth by the first wave of feminism

and instead explored women and their historical oppression through a much more personal lens.

Hiroshima by John Hersey The dropping of the atomic bombs on Hiroshima

and Nagasaki brought the entire world to a stand-still, by showcasing the immense destruction

they could cause within moments.

But at the time, the destruction inflicted was only limited to numbers and statistics

in newspapers.

In 1946, John Hersey decided to change that.

He wrote a 30 thousand word article for the New Yorker about six of the atomic bomb survivors

and the fateful day through their eyes.

And it wasn't until people in the West read this New Yorker article that they understood

for the first time not what happened to the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, but to the

people living in them.

His article, later published as a book, brought the human aspects of this event to light.

And many readers wrote to the New Yorker, expressing their horror and shock at what

ordinary people like doctors, priests, and mothers had to endure due to the bombings.

Silent Spring by Rachel Carson In 1962, when Rachel Carson published a book

about the effects of synthetic pesticides like DDT on bird population, she didn't

know it would eventually end up saving the Bald Eagle from extinction in the continental

U.S.

She simply reintroduced the scientific findings on the matter, which weren't new to the scientific

community at the time.

But to the general public, the bleak future and conclusions pointed out by the book were

a stark revelation.

Less than a year after the publication, she was testifying against pesticides in front

of the Senate subcommittee.

She said, "Our heedless and destructive acts enter into the vast cycles of the earth

and in time return to bring hazard to ourselves."

Rachel Carson's book set a lot of actions in motion, from the formation of the Environmental

Defense Fund (EDF) to making stricter environmental laws.

Silent Spring reached people's hearts in a way few other scientific books had, pioneering

a modern environmental movement for the 20th century.

The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank Anne Frank was forced to go into hiding along

with her family members to escape the Nazi terror that loomed over them in the Netherlands

during the Second World War.

Having to spend all of her time in close quarters with so many people, Anne turned to writing

in her diary to escape the boredom that each day brought.

She began to jot down not only her experiences as a Jew in a Nazi regime but also the typical

teenage hopes and aspirations she felt.

Years later, when her diaries were discovered, their significance was only heightened by

the fact that Anne Frank had passed away in a concentration camp after they were discovered,

with her father as the only surviving member of the family.

Anne Frank's diary is considered to be one of the most important documents from the Second

World War.

L Her adolescent perspective and writing make

her experience of the war terrifyingly concrete, and you are left haunted by her last entry

on August 1, 1944, knowing now that she would never be able to write again.

On the Origin of Species: By Means of Natural Selection of the Preservation of Favoured

Races in the Struggle for Life, by Charles Darwin

While most changes and discoveries in science take a while to filter down to the public,

the book that Charles Darwin wrote on evolution shook the beliefs of the people to the very

core.

It was a time when much of scientific knowledge and public perception of it was saturated

and limited by religious beliefs.

Darwin's book about the survival of the fittest and how plants and animals evolve

as a response to their environment was a sensationally dangerous and innovative idea.

The impact of this is clearly seen, as his works have created a strong foundation for

the understanding of evolutionary biology and other sciences, bringing into the debate

the credibility of creationism.

Charles Darwin gave the people, and the sciences, a revolutionary discourse through his observation

of plant and animal life, and also a rational alternative to the biblical stories of Adam

and Eve with their apple.

Have you read any life-changing books yet?

Liverpool January transfer window verdict - Duration: 5:50.

Jurgen Klopp was clear in explaining why Liverpool would do no business in January – it is a window for losers

That is the harsh reality of the winter transfer period now, and indeed of transfer deadline days in general

If you're leaving it until doomsday, then you're doomed - something is seriously wrong with your club

The likes of Liverpool , Manchester City , Spurs, and increasingly Manchester United (with Ed Woodward playing catch-up on the sensible long-term planning policies of his three rivals) have redefined the way the Premier League approaches transfers

No longer is it considered good practice to be thrashing around wildly just before midnight at the end of the month

It's basically advertising your club is s*** and being run badly. Read More Huge drop in Premier League January transfer window spending revealed amid shock figures  Given the outlay required on the type of player who can improve a club at the top of English football, months, if not years, of due diligence is required, and time is required to give new signings the longest possible lead in to new systems at a new club

That's why you see City, Liverpool, United – and most other well run clubs in fact - increasingly making their signings at the end of May, or early June

You don't get value simply by playing chicken at the end of the window any more.as PSG found to their cost last night

You have to find value in different ways, research and stats, identifying (relatively) untapped potential at a younger age and developing that talent with your own modern coaching methods

Look at Leroy Sane or Gabriel Jesus at City, and how they have developed. Or Mo Salah and Sadio Mane at Liverpool

Read More January transfer window 2019: Winners and losers following Deadline Day  The only business Klopp was interested in was getting young full backs Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson to sign new five-year contracts, ensuring he has a base of youthful talent to sustain the club over the next decade

Of course, Klopp DID splash the cash the previous January, but only because he had pursued Virgil van Dijk for a year and finally had the opportunity (and money) to get him out of Southampton

The two previous Januaries: one loan signing.   City, Spurs and Liverpool now have a clearly defined transfer model, and it one that United are moving towards too – and interestingly, one that Arsenal always adopted before the reactionary wildness of the past two years

Read More Liverpool complete transfer of misfit Lazar Markovic to Fulham  It doesn't make for excitement on deadline day, and it doesn't offer anything to those fans who are always desperate to see fresh blood, no matter how difficult it is to settle into a new club in the middle of a season

But it does make for long-term development, for teams that get better over the years and address issues before they even become apparent

So look at the Liverpool squad now. They have a spine in a keeper (Alisson), centre half (van Dijk), central midfielder (Fabinho), centre forward (Salah or Firmino) all signed up for years, and then young talent joining them on long-term contracts

Free transfer XI: Players Premier League clubs can snap up for nothing in summer  What else do they need? Well, perhaps another striker (though Klopp believes youngster Rhian Brewster may provide a real option going forward)

But that will have been addressed six months ago, planning for next summer if necessary

They also require another creative midfielder, someone remarkably like Nabil Fekir, in fact, who they so nearly signed last summer

His knee issues mean that is not going to happen, but they will have identified someone similar

If so, then expect it to happen in June, not January.  Shadow full backs too perhaps? Maybe, but teenage left back Adam Lewis is also exciting Klopp, and everyone already knows of the potential of 17-year-old Ki-Jana Hoever

Read More Liverpool transfers: The 4 players who left on deadline day - and 2 deals that fell through  For Klopp, this window was always about securing what he's got

and getting back players like Joe Gomez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain who will make a real difference on the title run-in, while getting more out of fringe players like Adam Lallana, Divock Origi and even Naby Keita

Even without those players Klopp's squad was good enough to get a five-point gap at the top of the Premier League with 14 games to go

Now, he needs them to justify his faith by finishing the job.
