hi everyone welcome back to my channel if you're new here my name is Tatiana
I'm a fashion photographer and just a girl who loves filming YouTube videos
So, this year has come to an end and there's only a few days left before New Year
So, I thought why not filming in a video sharing with you some memorable moments of 2017
and some favorite things of this year
I think this year I've finally started accepting myself as I am with all my weaknesses, insecurities
And just ... everything.
I no longer fight with myself, I am learning how to be better version of myself
It's a very long process but I think I'm on the right way
and there's a reason for every moment, every struggle that happens
and it only makes us stronger
and you know I used to be the person who looks at everything from the negative side
and now I'm finally starting to turn it into a positive
if I have some bad thoughts I'm actually being able to turn it into something good
and something that will help me in the future
to overcome any fears and to grow up as a person and as an artist
I think it's really important
I've been struggling with it for a very long time and
I'm really happy that finally I'm being able to be on this journey of becoming a peaceful and happy person
I would say so
maybe it sounds a little bit silly or messed up
but you know for me it's really
it's really amazing actually
OK
the next thing that happened this year is that I've started filming the videos with myself
just like this one
it happened because of self-confidence that I've achieved through this year
because you know right now I'm not even wearing the contact lenses
and some time ago I wouldn't... I wouldn't ever show myself like these to you guys
I didn't really thought that wearing glasses is OK
because I'm a fan of contact lenses
and right now I'm recovering from the flu
so I can't wear contact lenses because my eyes will get itchy
So, of course I prefer to take care of my health first
so I've decided to film this video wearing the glasses
and I really wanted to film this video
because I wanted some kind of an honest talk with you guys before the end of the year
and let me know if you'd like to see more videos like this
where I'm just talking with you and sharing with you some personal information
or tips about photography... Just anything. Please let me know I'm always happy to hear feedback from you
next thing that is really important for me is
that I've finally started meditating every day
I wanted to do it for quite a long time
and I've tried it but something has always came up
and messed everything up
but I finally managed to fit it into my daily routine
so every morning I wake up, have a glass of lemon water
and I do my meditation
it's really really nice
it's relaxing, it helps with getting rid of the anxiety
and if you want to find out more about your soul and your....
I don't know... being in peace with yourself
it's a it's a very nice way to achieve it
And I think you should try it if you haven't yet :)
In the beginning of 2017 I visited Japan
I haven't been there since I've studied there a long time ago
And of course it was amazing and unforgettable
I've realized how deeply I'm connected to that place
how inspiring it is for me
I felt so amazing there
and you know this feeling
when your heart is beating faster and there is no reason for that
but you're still feeling so happy... oh, I can't even describe it :)
and I've also met some of my friends whom I haven't seen for a long time and
I was really really happy
at the same time during this trip
I've realized that there are some negative and positive sides of a Japanese society
there are some benefits of living there as well as some bad things
and I was able to look at this country as an adult
and before that I was only a student
who was so amazed by everything
you know don't get me wrong I adore this country
I adore everything but now I can finally see it as a grown up person
This trip was really important for me not only because of this nostalgic feelings
But also thanks to it I've started working at some of new projects
which are related to Japan
I will be able to tell you more about it really soon
and yeah... I've realized that I don't need to hide my photography style anymore
Because I'm deeply related to Asia and its culture
and I'm no longer going to be afraid of experiments
and I don't care that someone might think it's strange
as long as my photos reflect who I really am I'm just going to keep working
and I think the life will put me in the right place where I belong
think I've got two philosophic
I've got published in several magazines
I got few covers and I met amazing people I think everything just goes as
I think everything just goes as it should
I'm really thankful for this opportunity
OK the next topic is travel
To tell the truth I haven't travelled a lot this year
I've only been to Japan, Israel, Paris ( I mean France, sorry guys lol) and Turkey
but it was interesting especially visiting Istanbul it was a nice experience ... :)
it was extremely cold in February when I was there. But overall it was nice
I hope I'll be able to travel much more next year
I've realized that I'm a huge foodie
I love creating new recipes
if you haven't seen guys I filmed a video
three recipe ideas for holidays
it's a healthy sweet treats
I'll put the link somewhere... I don't know here, there...
I think I will be posting more food related videos
maybe some recipes, what I eat in a day... and, yeah, I hope it will be interesting for you guys
and my favorite food or ingredient of the year is matcha powder
I bought some matcha in Japan
I do enjoy matcha latte
I cook pancakes with matcha
I love chocolate with matcha flavor, choco pie with matcha....
just everything matcha related
and maybe I'll film a video about it soon
If haven't tried matcha I really recommend it to you
because it has many benefits for your health
it's just like a superfood and you can add it to your smoothies... anywhere
Well, just try it
I was trying to remember what movies watched this year
And I just couldn't remember anything actually
because I didn't have a lot of time for watching movies like sitting in front of the TV
or cinema and thinking, and being 100% right there to understand the story
the one movie I've remembered is "Handmaiden"
this movie is really beautiful but at the same time it's a little bit violent
and there are some pretty much erotic moments right there
It's very specific but i really love it
it's related to some Japanese and Korean culture
Hmm, that's interesting... Although I would prefer is the Japanese characters were played by Japanese actors not Koreans
but still this movie is amazing and it's like an art piece in my opinion
and talking about TV shows I'm not too picky I guess
I've been a fan of "Scandal" ...
I don't remember what season it is right now ... It's still interesting
I can't wait the next episode of it
and what else ?
oh I've watched "The Queen of the South", it was not as bad as I expected
it wasreally nice
And please don't think I spent hours in front of the TV
I just have two PC monitors and when I edit my photos or do some work like email replying etc
I just turn on the TV show on the other monitor so I do both
I know multitasking isn't a best thing but it works for me. So... yeah.
my favorite makeup product of the year
is this prep and prime by MAC
and it has been my favorite for about three years since I've discovered it
and I really recommend it to everyone
and I'm also happy with this Kill Cover concealer by CLIO
I've showed it to guys in one of my videos
and maybe I'll do a review or get ready with me video, when I'm using it
so it's really nice, I really liked it
I think these two aren't my favorite products of the year
OK guys, I thinkthat's it. Thank you so much for watching
please let me know in the comments below about your favorite moments, events or things of the year
I will be happy to hear it
also let me know what you think in the comments below
Please consider subscribing, it helps a lot
And, see you next time! Bye! :)

BEACH ANTS?! 🏝✈ - Duration: 18:00.
Ever wonder if there are ants at the beach?
Do ants take tropical beach vacation getaways like humans do?
The answer will surprise you.
This week, I had the opportunity to spend my Christmas on some secluded but tiny tropical
islands, and my main goal was to find out what the ants on secluded beach islands were
like, how they lived, or heck, find out if there even were ants on secluded beach islands
at all!
AC Family, let's make a quick escape from the on-going tales of our antiverse in my
ant room in Manila, Philippines and travel thousands of miles westward to a gorgeous
tropical country called Maldives, tucked far away out into the Indian Ocean, and find out
what beach ant colonies are like, in this episode of the AntsCanada ant channel.
Please SUBSCRIBE to my channel, and hit the bell icon.
Welcome to the AC Family.
Tired of nature channels not showing nature shows.
Just watch this channel.
Enjoy!
The Republic of Maldives is a South Asian country composed of over 1,000 coral islands
out in the Indian Ocean, situated in the Arabian Sea near the country of Sri Lanka.
Its crystal clear waters, amazing wild life, and luxurious beach resorts have made it a
growing tourist spot for beach enthusiasts around the world.
I knew nothing about the place before coming here, other than the fact that a few celebrities
I follow online have vacationed here and posted some pretty neat photos of the place.
But when I arrived I was shocked to see not only how beautiful it was, but also how rich
the Maldivian wildlife was, both in the sea and on land.
Allegedly friendly reef sharks and some really interesting marine fish swam all around us
just outside our rooms, we interacted with wild stingrays, which I had no idea was a
safe thing to do, massive fruit bats flew from tree to tree, huge solitary bees buzzed
around, shore birds and herons hung out at our pools, and super cute agamid lizards scurried
about waiting for insects to pick off, and oh, the plant life - man, that tropical, beach
plant life though!
But with such a lush and thriving ecosystem on these secluded islands, I was sure there
had to be ants here somewhere!
So I asked the locals about where I might be able to find ants and what type of ants
existed in Maldives.
Of course, if you're not an ant nerd like me, most ants might look the same, so the
general consensus was that there were pretty much only three types of ants in Maldives.
They were described as follows: The first type were described as being big and black,
and that to me screamed Camponotus, i.e. carpenter ants.
Ooohh Maldivian carpenter ants!
Super exciting.
Let's hope we see some today!
The second were described as some small red ones.
That sounded like a fire ant species, perhaps like our Fire Nation?
We'll find out!
And finally some harmless black ones that come in swarms, and of course, that to me
sounded like black crazy ants!
To think, our Dark Knights have a Maldivian counterpart?
So cool!
So according to local sources, there were these three ants and that was it.
Now although Maldives was pretty geographically secluded and each island was super small,
I still found it hard to accept that there were only three species of ants on these Maldivian
islands, so it was time to find out!
I booked some tours to go Maldives island hopping and broke away from my tour group
to shoot some ants!
By the way, AC Family, if you're excited about today's episode, please hit that 'LIKE' button
and let me know.
Alright so wandering off the tourist path a little bit, I instantly came across this
open sandy area with sparse vegetation, and it was full of little pits.
Ant holes!
Check it out AC Family, it looks like we've found our quote-unquote small, red ants!
But looking closer at them, you could tell right away that these red ants were NOT fire
ants.
These ants looked different from our Fire Nation, but they were just as energetic!
I loved watching them run about constructing their holes and small ant hills.
Have a look!
Now one thing you might notice about the ant hills of these ants is that they aren't really
huge nor too conspicuous.
I feel when you live on a beach where you don't have a whole lot of plant coverage,
you don't want to make your fortress too obvious and announce to predators that "Hey, this
is where we live."
Now I couldn't even pin a genus on these girls to identify them, until I spotted from the
corner of my eye this!
A Supermajor!
The supermajors were super shy and weren't plentiful.
Now these ants weren't our Titans, Asian Marauder ants, but were probably a smaller and similar
species belonging to the genus Pheidole.
Red ant mystery solved!
Let's move on!
My friend who was ant-hunting with me, called me over saying "Hey, I found a huge black
ant!"
Yes, perhaps it was our native Camponotus!
When I finally saw it, I was shocked and filmed it with my eyes and mouth wide open the whole
time.
AC Family, check it out and see if you can tell why!
Do you see something funny about this big black ant?
Well, AC Family, this actually is not an ant.
Believe it or not, this here is a spider!
A jumping spider, to be exact, probably belonging to the genus Myrmarachne.
This spider was an ant mimic!
Don't believe me?
That right there is its web den!
Not only is its body shaped like that of an ant, but it also moves its front legs in the
same way an ant moves its antennae!
Isn't that just amazing, AC Family?
Now you might be asking, why would a spider want to mimic an ant?
What evolutionary purpose?
Well, there could be several reasons.
First, many animals actually dislike or fear ants, having learned to stay away from them
due to their bites or their foul taste.
A predator may choose to eat this jumping spider before this apparent ant.
Second, this spider may actually look like her favourite prey, and so looking like an
ant may help her get close enough to pounce.
Whatever it is, these ant-mimicking spiders of which there are hundreds of described species
are super cool!
Don't you think?
Ok, so this wasn't our big, black carpenter ant!
Let's move on!
Plus, we still needed to find some wild Dark Knights, Maldives chapter!
Speaking of which, AC Family want to hear something cool?
Alright, so it made total sense that the Dark Knights, commonly known as black crazy ants
would be found here in Maldives.
If you were ever wondering if ants take tropical beach vacation getaways the answer is yes,
they do, only they end up staying at these tropical destinations, and black crazy ants
happen to be the ultimate world vacationers.
You see at one point these Maldivian islands had their native set of ants species like
the Pheidole ants, but as soon as the islands began to develop and later turn into a tourist
destination, it opened its borders to immigrant ants.
With human tourists, come the need for the importation of supplies, including food items,
building materials, decorative plants and trees, and pretty much everything and anything
that people can't readily acquire on these tiny islands.
During a chat with the general manager of the resort I was staying at, I was surprised
to know that twice a week, huge barges of supplies are shipped into the island to stock
the resort with everything they need.
And of course, with these supplies, can come tiny ant vacationers traveling for free.
All it takes is one pregnant queen ant, or even whole colonies inhabiting any of the
goods coming in, for a colony of immigrant ants to establish themselves on a small island.
They can even be hiding in something as simple as a garbage can on a boat.
And low and behold, near a school in one of the local communities, I saw some naturalized
Maldivian citizens of Dark Knights.
As was described to me by the locals they moved in huge swarms with such vigor and power!
Having whole armies of immigrant ants like these black crazy ants move in to a new place
can be problematic for the local ecosystem especially for a small island, because they
can displace, kill, or out-compete native ants, which already have stable relationships
with the plants and animals around them.
Imagine if these black crazy ants wipe out a native species of ant that a certain species
of plant depends on to disperse its seeds or pollinate to bear fruit?
Or what if these black crazy ants have a taste for creatures that native ants typically leave
alone?
Black Crazy Ants, though we love our Dark Knights, actually pose dangers to ecosystems
especially on small islands around the world, because of the fact that they are such avid
world travelers.
And so are these ants, ghost ants!
Tapinoma melanocephalum.
These tiny bundles of energy are called ghost ants because of their semi-transparent gasters
which make them look like floating heads.
Ghost ants are also notorious world travelers having established themselves in subtropical
and tropical regions around the world.
I spotted them forming a massive trail running up and down this tree and towards the beach!
And here is exactly what I was talking about!
AC Family, look!
It looks like these ghost ants have stolen the bounty of some larger Maldivian native
ant, and have formic acid sprayed it to immobilization.
I watched as it kicked and struggled in pain, as the ghost ants feasted on what was supposed
to be a meal for the native ant's colony.
Scenes like this are heart-breaking, but it's part of the natural world where the survival
of the fittest rule reigns supreme.
So what are people doing now to try to stop ant tourism?
Surely, for islands like Maldives, human tourism is an important industry, bringing the nation
a steady amount of income, but how do we protect the native ecosystems from falling apart due
to invasive, tourist ants to these small islands like those of Maldives.
So, to deal with that, prior to landing in Maldives, I was surprised to see that the
Maldivian government required all planes coming in to be sprayed with a pesticide.
If you find it weird that they would do that, check out this huge spider that flew with
me sandwiched between the two panes of glass making up my plane window.
The flight staff told me, they had watched that spider grow, which means, beyond the
mystery of how it got in there in the first place, it was actually feeding on a regular
supply of insects!
Fact is, insects can be anywhere and travel thousands of miles with people more often
than one would think.
Also, thankfully, most countries are strict with what fauna enter and leave its borders.
Our GAN Project, which has supplied thousands of ant keepers with ants for their ant farms
also aims at reducing the black market trade of ant colonies as pets to private owners,
to help stop the migration of foreign ants to new places, by connecting local ant keepers.
But no other sight spoke the message of the need for preservation of native ants and ecosystems
as clearly and beautifully as this next scene you are about to see, AC Family.
At the base of one of the trees, near the ocean, I spotted something totally magical!
It was a huge, black ant!
We found our native Camponotus ant.
Wow!
Look at how gorgeous it was!
But then I noticed something even cooler!
It was attending to some small tiny pink creatures, and that's when I realized, AC Family, that
OMG, this carpenter ant was milking a mealy bug.
What we are witnessing here was a carpenter ant milking an ant cow!
You see the mealy bugs feed from the juices within this tree root and if you look carefully,
you will see the ant gently stroking the mealy bug with its antennae.
This stroking eventually causes the mealy big to release a sweet secretion called honeydew,
a bi-product, which the ant drinks up cum gusto!
I have never been able to film this beautiful act of symbiosis this close.
You can almost see the small appendage of the mealy bug running through the ants' mouth
parts.
Is that like an ant cow teat?
I watched for a long time as the carpenter ant milked the mealy bug then left to visit
other mealy bug sites that it knew, including this one which was a mealy bug with baby mealy
bug calves around her!
Isn't this all just unbelievable.
An ant farmer with her ant cows, AC Family.
In order to preserve these beautiful and important moments of nature, as has been the common
message these days, we humans do need to be mindful of our activities as key players in
the natural world.
The final ants I saw as I left Maldives a few days ago, were some native black ants
of which I didn't know the species, relocating a dead Maldivian native carpenter ant to an
area not blocking one of their foraging trails.
They were cleaning up!
This made me think, hey if tiny ants can work together at cleaning up a mess that isn't
theirs, why do we people have such problems working together to clean up our own?
It's ant love forever.
Yes!
AC Family, thanks for watching another week of ant discovery!
Hope you guys are enjoying your holidays!
What types of ants have you guys seen while on vacation?

Alright, and now it's time for the AC Question of the week!
Last week we asked:
Which of our ant colonies was the first to receive their
Christmas gift?
Now this was a trick question because a lot of you answered the Fire Nation which indeed
was the first recipient of their Christmas gift in the video, but congratulations to
MobileChampion 21 who correctly answered:
The Golden Empire
It was mentioned in the video that the Gold Play Button was considered the Golden Empire's
early Christmas gift, hence they technically were the first.
Congratulations MobileChampion 21, you just won a free ebook handbook from our shop!
In this week's AC Question of the Week, we ask:
Name any of the two species of ants in this video that are not
native to Maldives Islands.
Leave your answer in the comments section and you could also win a free ebook handbook
from our shop!
Hope you can subscribe to the channel as we upload every Saturday at 8AM EST.
Please remember to LIKE, COMMENT, SHARE, & SUBSCRIBE if you enjoyed this video to help us keep
making more.

How to make Popsicle Catapult - Duration: 4:17.
How to make Popsicle Catapult
You will need: Popsicle Sticks, Rubber Bands, Bottle Cap and Glue Gun.
Take 6 Popsicle Sticks.
And attach them together using 2 Rubber Bands.
Use one larger Rubber Band to attach 1 Popsicle Stick in the middle.
Wrap the Rubber Band around all the edges.
Now let's finish the Catapult.
We need to attach 2 more Popsicle Sticks on the edges of our base Catapult.
And we can use the Glue Gun to do that.
We can make our Catapult more durable with a little piece of Popsicle Stick and one more Rubber Band.
Glue the Rubber Band on the front side so it doesn't fall off.
And finally, attach the Bottle Cap using the Glue Gun.
You can make a little ball from the piece of paper and we can test our Catapult.
Thanks for watching. Don't forget to give us a Like, and Subscribe.

3 Reasons Why I Publicly Embarrass Myself on the Internet - Duration: 3:13.
Okay so before I start creating content for this channel, I like to address a
question I've been getting a lot from family friends and just people I know.
The question is why am I doing this? In other words, what I think they're asking
is why am I creating embarrassing videos of myself and posting them on the
internet for everyone to see? Well let me begin by saying that that's a fantastic
question because even I have to constantly remind myself why I am doing this,
especially when I get roasted by my friends for my videos. Trust me when I make a
video, post it, and watch it, it makes me cringe and the fact that I've put it on the
internet for everyone I see is pretty embarrassing, but here's why I don't care.
Number one: I've learned that life's too short to care about what others think.
Yeah I know that's a little cliche, but I used to be so worried about other's
opinions of me to the point that I really limited myself. The truth is, who
gives a shit about what others think. Don't let a fear being judged just
because you're different hold you back from the things you want to do.
Number Two: Helping others is what I love to do and I feel that this is a way for me to
reach a large audience which will allow me to help the most amount of people I can.
Whether it's educating someone, introducing a new perspective, or just
putting a smile on their face, I realized that making videos can help me do
exactly that. The way I look at it is how back in school, the teachers used
to tell us to ask questions because someone else may have that same exact
question. Well I've answered a lot of financial questions for friends and
family and I figured that chances are someone else has that same question, so
why not try to help as many people as I can? Number three: Because this is what I love
to do. I read an article a couple months ago that said 70% of Americans hate
their jobs. After reading that article, I made a promise to myself that I
wouldn't fall into that trap. I told myself that the money and
prestige doesn't matter when you hate what you do. You know that saying that says
"if you do what you love you'll never work a day in your life"? Well it's true.
Look, so many people are unhappy in life because they're scared to be different,
they're scared to take risks, and they're scared that if they decide to do what they
love, they'll be judged and criticized. Trust me,
I've had the same fear until I realized that the only one holding myself back is
me. I've wanted to make videos for years but I was afraid of the embarrassment
and the failure. I've made so many videos that I either took down after a day or I
just never posted at all. Well here's the deal. Everything sucks until you practice.
Think about it. You think professional athletes we're as good as they are now
the first time they competed? You think that famous producers just wake up one
day and decide they want to create a movie without any experience and
producing award-winning film? No, but no one hears about the failures. We only
hear about the successes and unfortunately most people are afraid of
failure. So at this point, I've wandered off the focus of this video but I'd like to
leave you with this. You have one life so don't let a fear of judgment keep you
from doing what you love. If you let others dictate your
life, you'll be filled with regret. So I'm excited to announce that starting
January 1st, I will be posting more cringy and embarrassing videos. As a new
creator, I'm experimenting a lot, so quite a few things will change including the
posting frequency, the topics, and the styles of my videos. As I find my channel,
your feedbacks are incredibly valuable so don't be afraid to speak up.
Alright so long story short, the three reasons listed above or why I purposely
embarrass myself on the Internet. Thank you for watching and I hope that you
join me on this journey!

The 3 Forms Of Slavery! (That Keeps You From Achieving True Freedom) - Duration: 13:48.
Hey, what's up?
John Sonmez here from simpleprogrammer.com.
I wanted to do a video today on one of my favorite topics, which is personal freedom
or achieving freedom.
This time I wanted to talk about what prevents you from having freedom, what I would call
the different forms of slavery that exist in your life.
If you're familiar with my videos, you know that freedom is probably my highest priority
in life.
In fact, it is my highest value in life, is personal freedom and obtaining that freedom.
This is something that is an ongoing struggle for most of us to be as free as possible.
The way that I define freedom, by the way, is I define freedom by essentially saying
that freedom is the capacity for you to exercise your own will over your life.
Now, there's external things that you can't control obviously, but everything internally
that you can control, the maximum ability for you to exercise your will, what you actually
want to do and enact within your life.
How you want to act, how you want to behave, how you want to express that will within life
is really what freedom is.
If you have a small ability to express that will, to do what you want to do, you could
essentially say freedom is the ability for you within your capability to do what you
want to do.
If you have a small capability to do that, you don't have much freedom.
You're controlled by external circumstances.
You're controlled by other people.
You're controlled by, even to some degree, bound by your own will.
That's what we're actually going to get into today, which is what are the things that—the
slavery that happened in your life like what are the things that bring you into slavery.
There's three forms of slavery that I'm going to talk about today.
Before I get into that though, I do want to point you to some of my other videos on freedom.
I've got a freedom playlist if you're interested in this.
Like I said, I'm always in the pursuit of increasing—Man.
I got a little bit—getting over a little bit of cold.
I'm always in pursuit of increasing my own personal freedom and teaching you how to do
it, and this is something that I think that is something that can occupy you for your
entire life as you try to reach higher levels and higher levels of freedom, but it's worth
it.
it's worth the journey.
It's worth the rewards that come in actually being able to execute in your life what you
want to and accomplish your will.
Here's the three forms of slavery that I'll define and we'll go over each one of them.
The first one is others.
They prevent you from executing on your will.
The second one is yourself and then the third one is your will itself.
How do others stop you from obtaining your freedom?
This one is pretty obvious.
This is the most obvious way.
This is really what most people think of, is that other people restrict them from their
freedom and put them into some form of slavery.
The first form of slavery is others.
This is obligation.
This is debt to others.
This is other's expectations on you and you subjecting yourself willingly to them.
You put yourself into slavery to others when you care what other people think, when you
allow people to put obligations on you.
Watch my video on obligations and not having obligations on other people or not letting
them put obligations on you.
This is one of the critical steps that you have to accomplish in life if you want to
achieve true freedom.
All of these things, right?
Anytime that you are modifying your behavior or modifying your will, the way that you enact
within your life in order to please others to prevent others from being sad, because
you feel obligated to others, or even at a coercion by others because you fear something
that's going to happen to you.
That actually crosses over probably into the second and third forms of slavery.
Anytime that's happening, you're basically becoming a slave.
You're giving up your freedom to other people.
This is something that's very, very common in life.
Most people feel some sense of obligation or duty to other people.
They put expectations on their people.
They let people have expectations on them and they modify their behavior.
This is—again, I did a video talking about the levels of freedom and this is sort of
that first level of freedom where you—when you've achieved this level, you stop caring
what other people think.
You start acting in the way that you don't actually care what other people think as much
as possible.
When you do care what other people think when—in fact, most people live their lives completely—not
just partially caring what other people think but completely living their life and doing
everything in their life based on what other people think.
I know I get a lot of emails from young guys, young girls, that their parent's decision
that they should go to college or that they should study some certain thing, or they should
go to work or do these particular things completely ruins their life, that they completely subject
their entire life, give away all their autonomy, give away all their freedom, and become basically
slaves to fulfill what their parents want for them.
Some people that feel just so obligated to their parents that they have to go and do
these things and they have to make their parents happy.
That first form of slavery that most people encounter, that most people never get past
is the slavery to others.
They feel obligated.
They feel like they have to please others.
It's a very needy type of behavior and you're defining yourself and your limits and what
you do in life based on others, what other people think, how you make them feel, all
those things.
When you have that into consideration in your will—when you take that into consideration
and that defines what you do in life, you are a slave to other people.
Like I said, most people have this to varying degrees.
I'd say most people actually live their entire lives with this form of slavery.
The second one is the slavery to yourself.
What does this mean?
What does it mean slavery to yourself?
I'm going to define these separate between the slavery to yourself and your will.
The slavery to yourself is just not understanding.
It's not understanding what is possible and what you're capable of.
It's having limiting beliefs.
Many of us—it's not necessarily that we care what other people think.
It's we care what we think.
We care what we think about ourselves and we don't freely express ourselves because
we have these limitations.
We believe the things about ourselves that are not true.
We believe we're not capable.
We believe that we are not qualified.
We believe that we're not good enough.
We have all of these limiting beliefs that control our mindset and make it so that we
totally limit our actions.
We can't do what we want to do not because we lack the discipline which we're going to
talk about next but because we lack the vision.
We don't know what we're capable of.
We believe things about ourselves that are wrong, and so we're essentially a slave to
ourselves.
We're a slave to our own mindset and our own beliefs.
We're not fully executing on our will.
We don't think we can—we stop writing because we don't believe we're a good enough
writer, that we can make it.
We stop drawing because we don't believe that we can become an artist.
We stop creating because we don't believe that we have something valuable to say that
it will be worth it, that the people would listen to us.
We devalue our value in the world and we assume that we can't get the things that we want
out of life.
This really could be defined as a victim mentality.
I've done plenty of videos on victim mentality.
You can check out the playlist.
If you're not enslaved with others, probably, you're enslaved or probably both, but, probably,
you're enslaved to yourself, your own limiting beliefs, your own things that prevent you
from not just achieving what you want in life but believing that is possible at all.
I'll tell you that from my own perspective.
This is one of those things I struggled with for a long time.
I didn't believe what—what I'm doing is possible.
There are so many mind-blowing type of experiences I've had where I have lifted those limiting
beliefs.
I've realized that what I thought was impossible is par for the course for some people and
it can be par for the course for me.
I've learned how to get rid of a lot of those limiting beliefs and believe that I'm really
capable more so than I thought, and that so many things that I thought were impossible
were actually possible.
Okay?
We got number one, slavery to others.
Number two, slavery to yourself, which I would say is your limiting beliefs.
Number three, this is your will.
This is your actual will.
Remember I said that freedom I defined as your ability to execute in your will.
What also prevents you from doing it is just not having the will power, not having the
discipline to do it.
You can know what you want to do and you can have other people not preventing you from
doing, that you don't give a fuck what they say or what they think.
You can get rid of limiting beliefs believing that you can do your thing, but you can still
lack the discipline and motivation to actually execute on it.
A lot of people are there as well.
Again, you're going to have different areas of your life that are going to be subject
to different forms of the slavery and that are going to limit your freedom in different
ways.
In a lot of people's lives, they're going to see all three of these.
I can see all three of these in different areas of my life.
Certain areas of my life are more locked up and I'm subject to the slavery in multiple
areas, but this one is critical.
This one is key.
This one is basically just tough enough buttercup.
You're going to have to harden the fuck up in order to conquer your own will.
Your own will can enslave you, can put you in slavery.
This form of slavery, again, is one that handicaps a lot of people because they just are too
fucking weak.
I did this video up—I'm going to link a few videos here.
This is going to be long, but I think this is important.
I'm a fucking bulldog or how to become a fucking bulldog.
If you're falling into this category of being a slave to your own will, you can't master
yourself, you can't discipline, then you need to watch that video.
You need to learn how to be a fucking bulldog.
You need to know how to up your discipline up to the point where you can actually execute
on your will, because if other people aren't preventing you from executing on your will
and you don't have a lack the limiting beliefs that are prevent—you believe it's possible,
but you're still not fucking doing it, it means you're weak.
It means you're pathetic.
It means that you need to grow some balls and it means you need to stack up and you
need to stop being a pussy, and you need to start actually embracing the fucking pain,
embracing the suck and you need to actually ramp it up and stop worrying about if it's
too hard, if it hurts too much.
You need to really, really push yourself to that limit if you want to have that freedom.
A lot of that freedom, like I said, comes from the ability to do that.
What you'll find also ironically is that if you focus on this one, if you focus on getting
freedom this way, casting up the slavery of your own will, that you'll find that you're
going to make a lot of progress in the other two areas because the more you push yourself,
the deeper you dig and find what you're made of, the more that you're going to find that
you have exercise—that you can exercise control over your own life and destiny and
will, and that you're less likely to let other people, especially other weaker people control
your potential when you realize what it is and you're less likely to believe that you
have a limited potential once you see what you're capable of.
You've got to have that discipline element.
You've got to be able to push yourself.
You've got to be able to conquer the weaker will with the stronger will.
The stronger will has to be the will that says, "This is what I want to execute in my
life.
This is what I want to do.
This is how I want to act.
This is how I want to behave."
That's basically it.
Those are the three forms of slavery that exist that prevents you from executing on
your will, that prevents you from having freedom and that we subject ourselves willingly to.
These forms of slavery and we have to conquer them if we want to have the absolute freedom.
I'll say again, just to give you kind of an idea of how this works, most people in their
lives, they live their lives, first of all, reacting to how other people think or how
other people perceive them.
They are constantly thinking about how they will be perceived and how other people feel
about their situations and what they do.
They're constantly acting in that way.
The second thing is that they're also not believing what they're capable of.
Then when they do something, they don't give it enough.
They don't give it their all.
They allow their own weakness to control and limit what their potential is.
If you want to get past those things, you got to conquer all three of those things in
order to have more and more freedom.
This is a struggle that I'm daily fighting.
It's something that I'm fighting and even as I'm recording this video.
I have to constantly think about, "Okay, what am I trying to do here?
What am I trying to communicate?
Do I care what people think about what I'm saying or do I care about doing what is in
my will, what I want to accomplish with this video?"
It's easy to pander to the masses.
It's easy to self-deceive myself, to have doubts to say, "Oh, well, you know, you're
not speaking very eloquently, John," but I got to continue.
I got to continue on and I got to say, "Okay.
I'm going to fucking do this.
I'm going to execute on this.
I'm going to record this video.
I don't care if people like it.
I don't care if I like it.
I'm going to do it and I'm going to execute it."
A lot of times, that's just the case with all the videos that I record on this channel.
