Reiji simultaneously summons forth the 666 knives and one massive battle-axe. The appearance of these two magical weapons signals his shift to an offensive mindset in order to decide this battle.

She extends her power above her, and starts releasing a continuous stream of fireballs toward Reiji's location.
But by turning Stream Field's knives into a defensive wall, Reiji is able to erase the numerous fireballs.
Reiji: So you're going with fireballs again? You do realize that such a reckless, desperate attack can't last for long, right?
Mikoto: I don't care! I'll figure out what to do later when that time comes!
Mikoto: If I lose here, than I have no future!!
Mikoto: Dorrrrryaaaahhhhhhhhh!!
She continues to protect by attacking. Whether she can hold Reiji off for one minute or one second, she does not care as she continues to launch fireball after fireball.
However, the amount of knives that Reiji has access to are innumerable and indestructible.
As Mikoto does not have a magical weapon of her own, she cannot destroy even a single one of these knives.
In this shooting game, while Mikoto has slightly more power, they are evenly matched everywhere else.
But eventually, her reserves to continue this long-ranged offensive will run dry. Without a way to decisively move forward, the standoff continues.

She swings the greatsword down. Flames soar off of the scarlet blade as it burns the air it passes through along its arc.
