ДЕЛАЕМ WI-FI ИНТЕРНЕТ РАДИОПРИЕМНИК - Duration: 4:31.

Hello everyone.

We continue to design a wi-fi internet radio.

Previous videos on this topic, see here at the

end of this video or below in the description.

Since there is very little on the Internet information on this subject

is necessary to devote a huge amount of time to its search

processing and also to testing

and Programming.

Many thanks to my friend Sergey, as he, with his

energy and desire to achieve our common goal, gives you already

verified and projected information that you are now

watching.

In previous videos, we talked in detail about

the modules with which you can now make

yourself or your friends a simple wi-fi internet radio.

It requires only a few components

MP3 Module VS1053 Wireless module NodeMcu V3

Power Supply

And firmware

If you have an unused radio, a tape recorder or audio speakers at home

then these modules can be installed

in the device case and you will have your own wi-fi internet

receiver.

We plan to make wi-fi internet radio gadget with individual case made of acrylic, with two

Audio speakers and with a touch screen

For this we need additional components

about which we told in the previous video.

But while the modules are flying to us from China, let's see what

can be done from what we already have

We flash the wi-fi module using a computer

and connect the power with a standard USB cable

We take power from the module and power mp3 vs1053.

Through the audio connector in the sound card, you can connect

headphones or audio speakers.

In our case, the self-made amplifier was connected to the

audio speakers.

For the initial tuning of the Internet radio

the firmware is used which was hardly found

on the Internet.

With the help of it we register in the wi-fi module the login and password

from our router so that the module can connect

to the access point and process audio streams from the Internet.

Firmware allows you to add and edit

the list of Internet radio stations, control the playback

of audio stream, increase and decrease the volume

display the names of the radio station and music tracks

There is a small adjustment of the frequency range

for audio stream playback.

Since the firmware is used only for the initial tuning

of the Internet radio receiver

program for the operating system Androyd

was written for the online control of the Internet radio receiver

From any device on the Androyd through a wi-fi signal

you can control the operating modes of the radio.

The program allows you to switch radio stations, increase

decrease the level Audio sound, display the name

of the radio station and the music tracks.

Those. All the main functions that are necessary for the

normal use of the Internet radio receiver

If you have any questions or suggestions

write in the comments under this video

We will try to answer them.

All references to the components that we use

in our project are under this video

Do not forget to use the discount ePN service to

receive a permanent discount on the aliexpress website.

All the accessories we order only through it and get

a discount of 8.5 percent from each order.

And in order to find the minimum price for goods, we

Use the browser plug-in from the service EPN

You need to follow the link below this video.

Register on the service EPN, install

the plug-in and receive constant discounts for all products

at the lowest prices.

Kickstarter: REKINDLE - Sci-Fi Feature Film Starring Stefanie Joosten - Duration: 7:04.

Hi, I'm Stefanie Joosten.

You might know me as Quiet from Metal Gear Solid V or my modelling work in Japan.

Today I am very excited to finally announce I am playing the lead role of Mika in the

sci-fi fantasy movie REKINDLE.

This is the first time I'm getting to play the hero in a feature film, and I want to

share it with you.

The universe of REKINDLE is so unique and unlike anything I've ever seen.

I can't wait to start shooting it.

But, I'm going to need your help to make this a reality.

She means we need your money.

My name is Callum Stamp.

I'm a filmmaker and musician from Amsterdam, and I've been making animations since I was

about ten years old.

Now, two years ago I wrote the outline for a fantastical story.

But, what if that wasn't an animation?

What if it was a live action feature film?

I mean, it turns out that that idea was a little bit too big to handle just on my own.

So I got a bunch of friends together that I made music videos and short films with,

and we just started creating.

Fast forward just two years later, and this thing really blew up.

I mean, we're now over 200 people strong, and I finally convinced Stefanie to play the

role of Mika in the film.

So, it's time for an original new story; one that you can be a part of too.

This is REKINDLE: The tale of a young woman who grows up in the cold wasteland of Chomii,

under rule by the vicious Royals who watch over the refugee camps below from their towers.

Well, Mika grows up alone and so has to steal to stay alive.

On a fateful day, she meets the old cowboy Wolvak, who thinks her thieving skills could

come in handy.

So, he recruits her to join a group of amateur bandits, and together they plan the biggest

heist that the universe has ever seen.

So what follows is a grand adventure across the stars, where our heroes meet strange foes,

weird allies, and wonderful worlds.

So it's kind of like Game of Thrones, mixed with Star Wars?

No.

Yes...

It's our job to come up with tons of different kinds of concept designs, define characters,

define their environments - together with Callum, the director - and give the rest of

the crew a good reference of what we'll be using on set, in the film.

It's a brand new universe, so every single outfit has to be handmade by our awesome costume

designers.

These poor refugees from all sorts of regions use patches of different fabrics and stitch

them together for a unique look.

For Mika's outfit we went through many iterations and drew Native American culture, Japanese

fashion and even some video game sources, like Final Fantasy.

It's very important for us to create as much as we can.

Why use green screens?

We can make the whole world with our own hands.

Here we have the Ember Emitter; it's a device on her arm which can make flames.

You switch it on like... this, and it actually works.

What's better for an actor to work with, than a prop that really works?

And of course, the wonderful music of REKINDLE will be recorded by a full orchestra.

Here's a little preview: one, two...

Our inspirations come from all over the place.

The adventure of Star Wars, the heists of Ocean's Eleven, the energy and fights of Dragon Ball Z,

and the team spirit of RPG games.

An incredible team has come together to bring the creatures and worlds of REKINDLE to life.

It takes more than an army to create this film.

It takes

a family.

The script is finished and our team is ready to go.

We are so passionate to bring this story to life, and with your help, it will be even

bigger than we've ever dreamed of.

If we reach our goal, we will build big practical sets, work with the best visual effects studios

in the business, and fly around the world to the most beautiful locations to film.

If you back this project we will give you everything we have.

And there are also some great rewards for you.

Things like: you visiting the set to meet us; VIP tickets to the premiere; getting your

designs in the film; playing a role in it; and of course, some awesome goodies like t-shirts,

plushies and more.

There's something for everyone.

So I hope to see your contribution.

I know that if we all shine our light, together we can REKINDLE this fire.

Well, I'm ready for action.

Well then...

Action!

My home is here.

My fear is change.

My give is take.

My sound is silent.

My heart is fixed.

My will is fire.

My name is Mika.

Bo Sanchez Interviews Edward Lee: Why You Should Not Be Afraid to Invest in the Stock Market - Duration: 40:11.

Hi, everybody. This is Bo Sanchez.

And welcome to the Truly Rich Club's, The Success Mentors Collection.

And I'm with one of my wisest, one of my best financial business life mentors. His name is Edward Lee.

Hi Edward. Hi Bro. Bo.

It's an honor that you've graced us and you said yes to my invitation.

You're such a busy man. No. No. It's a pleasure. It's a pleasure, of course.

Edward is someone who owns a number of companies

and some of them to the tune of billions of pesos, but he's here and he's talking to me.

And he's talking to you.

Edward, everybody needs to know this. Number one. You did not inherit your wealth.

Yes.

Your mother was a (I'm saying this to everybody because I know you so well.)

Your mother is a school teacher.

That's right.

Your father is a door-to-door salesman, had no properties, had no businesses and yet you came from that.

Also, you were not good in your school.

That's correct also.

And that your grades were not well. The only reason why... (I'm telling your story to everyone now.)

The reason why you passed was because your mother was a teacher. Yes. That's correct.

I think that like what we're saying is that

what is really important here is that…

It's always God's will that we are here today,

but of course a lot of hard work, a lot of working with a lot of people,

the unconditional love of my mother…

of my parents, the continuing breakfast meeting that I have with my father

which basically like what you are guys are doing right now

which is the homeschooling which I think is one of the most important,

a set up that is required.

Because of my school, my lack of academic skill what have really happened was

that my father had to spend a lot of time talking to me, encouraging me.

And from there that's where I learned a lot of experience, his life experience that he has shared with me over time.

And of course the values that has always imparted by our parents,

my mom especially of course, she basically always tell that we have to do the proper thing.

You know, money is important, but it is not the ultimate solution for everything.

I think that looking at that, the amount of time and love you got from your parents. I think that's crucial.

You were telling the story that sometimes, you'd sleep in the classroom during your grade school…

And then your mother would come in the room and pull you out.

Yes. Yes. Powdered me up and send me back to sleep.

Just go back to the classroom just to sleep.

But never once did they condemn you and tell you, "You are no good! You won't amount to anything!"

They never said those things. Yes.

They just said…They just cried in front of you. Of course. Of course. A lot of buckets.

What really happened was that my parents would always encourage me and would always share

with me that if a person is smart, he would probably spend an hour studying

while since I was always catching up,

I should at least 3 hours.

But never did they discourage me or scold me that you know, I'm stupid and good for nothing.

…which is, I think, one of the most important.

Oh yeah!

Without that. Without the encouragement. Without the love that they gave me,

I doubt if I will be sitting here sharing with a lot of people. What had really happened into my life.

Oh, yes, absolutely.

And I think many times I heard so many children who have grown up.

Under the condemnation of their own parents.

The parents would look down on them. And the parents would call them names.

Their parents would tell them, "You won't amount to anything." So that becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

That's correct.

That's the sad part. A lot of times when we shared our experiences. Our life experiences with people.

I think what is really the most important there is that like one of your seminars,

I talked about that they have carried your child on your stomach for nine months,

and then you've raised them.

And because of lacking time because you have a job

and the child basically has to go to school without proper guidance

and from there, you expect them to already be able to do a lot of things

which you have not shared with them,

so from there…and let's say for example, if they don't attend their school and then they are failing grades,

then you condemn them already.

Once you do that, you know like what you said, it is a self-fulfilling prophecy,

then they won't be able to be successful.

Great.

And then Edward how did you get into the stock market?

What happened was that, since I was always spending most of my time playing bowling,

not really attending school.

Cutting classes! Cutting classes in other words in college.

I was studying in La Salle, and just a few minutes away, there's a bowling center there.

So I spent most of my time playing bowling. And luckily…

I met…there was somebody there who was playing bowling also, and I befriended him,

and I scored for him and eventually,

I found out that he works for a…they own stock brokerage house in the Manila Stock Exchange,

and from there, basically I started looking at it. He was telling me, you know, what they were doing.

He shared with me the way how to invest in the stock market, so I started

and tried to learn from it and what really happened was that…

You were how old? I was 18 years old. 1973.

I was eighteen years old.

Did it fascinate you that the first time…like wow…this is great!

Yes, of course! The fascination was because I was making at a very young age

and not because of anything, you know, but because it was a bull market during in 1973.

Of course, by the time in 1974, the market starts crashing, since I was not attending school,

I was spending my time investing in the stock market, trading in the stock market,

what happened was that I was completely wiped out also.

So that was the first experience of being completely wiped out.

Losing a lot of money.

I was 19. I resorted to borrowing.

My two friends were partners so they have to bail me out, help me try to restructure.

And from there, what really happened was that…

since I was I lost a lot of money, I was not attending school, I was kicked out of school.

And from there I have to look for a job. I worked. I started at 8 pesos a day.

I love that part. I worked as a key-puncher and as a butcher.

I always believe, Eduard that when we go through our suffering right now,

we have to have this mindset that this is just a great story to tell when I become successful.

I think that a lot of challenges in anybody's life, I think there are a lot of challenges.

And I think how you emotionally being able to use those difficult situations and be more positive about it.

So you were earning 8 pesos a day, after you got kicked out from college and you were an employee.

That's correct. I was working for a computer center in a bank

in an afternoon shift. Since we're undergrad, so you do the.

When did you go back to the stock market?

Well, of course, since whatever savings that I got from my monthly salary

then I started doing it again, investing again.

So I think the stock market always has it's up and down. We call it the bull-bears cycles.

It goes up, and it goes down.

What is really important is that you try to understand the psychology of it,

and from there what you do is you just use a smaller amount of money

that you can afford now instead of borrowing like what we used to do before,

and start building and learning again.

I think it is a process that everybody has to go through.

And you went to that process, and you learned from your failures.

You learned through losing money. It's almost like you fine-tuned your system.

Of course.

Before when we were making money, it was a bull market, like my professor would always say,

that during bull markets, everybody is great.

Everybody makes a lot of money, but when the bear market comes,

that's when you separate the men from the boys, so these are the experiences that we have.

These are the experiences that we all have to go through.

And the problem is a lot of people is they don't spend time trying to understand why they fail.

I think that when they jumped into the market, it's because somebody asked them to, you know...

sell them a story

And most of the time when people start selling you stories is when the market is at its height.

It's when the barber, the taxi driver, your office mate beside you said, "Hey! Invest in this stock! It's a hot tip!"

Yes, that's correct.

That's when everybody is in the stock market. That's when it starts to crash.

We don't know, but…

Because what happens is that people talk about it when they are making money.

Yes.

But then if you make money, that means the market is at its height, you know.

It's moving already. It's a bull market, and everybody is making money.

So that creates the excitement because people now makes money within the day within the minute

and within the next day.

So that's where people now, because of the greed, because they want to be part of it.

That creates the so called bull market.

Wow! That's amazing.

You know, if people right now are watching us or listening to us,

they think that the stock market is a dangerous game.

They have never touched it with a ten-foot pole.

They only hear people who lost their money in the stock market,

so they're listening to us now, Edward.

And they're asking this question, "How can I get into the stock market?"

The statistics for the stock market, by the end of the bull bear cycle is done,

85% of the people will lose money.

My gosh!

Yes, that is still the statistics.

Only 15% will earn their money!

Yes. That includes the government that would get all the taxes,

the brokers who basically doesn't invest.

They just make money. And of course, the people who issued the shares of stocks.

These are the winners.

All speculators, traders, if they don't understand the psychology of the market,

by the end of the day when the market collapses, when the bear market comes, 85% will lose money.

So what we are trying to do now is since the statistics is very low,

...what we are trying to do now is we are trying to encourage first time investors

to look to invest in the stock market on a much longer perspective.

Because like when we were sharing with some of our people, we are talking about the book of Jeremy Siegel

which is, "Stocks for the Long Run."

The first thing that is written there is called, "Everyone ought to be rich."

The method of that is just a pure simple dollar cost averaging which we're trying to launch today.

It's called the peso cost averaging,

so that we could basically teach people how to invest in the long run.

That's right.

Like what you have been sharing with them, that they have to pay themselves first for their retirement,

so for just a minimum P5,000, you can build a fortune 20 years from today.

Or if they are thinking about their children's education,

they can invest for their children on a peso cost averaging,

or if ever they have a plan to save money for their dream houses,

and from there they just buy good companies that pay good dividends,

and over time doing the peso cost averaging…

...it will happen.

The statistics is still there.

The biggest problem always is the discipline

wherein would they be able to continue doing the P5000 on a monthly basis

and only when they have that discipline…

Of course, sometimes because it will be worth a lot of money, they might decide to just spend it,

so I think what is really the key is that they have to have the discipline

to be able to continue doing it over a period of time.

So Edward in your years of experience, you've been doing the stock market for the past thirty years.

Thirty-five years.

Thirty-five years! Unbelievable…

Thirty five years of doing the stock market, you've seen that play out -- the 85% who lose the money,

15% who earn the money.

And because of that reflection, you're now telling the first-time investors, "First time investors, do it this way."

Because if you do it this way, you'll be part of the 15%.

That's correct.

Because we used to teach timing the market.

Trying to understand the psychology of the market. We still do that.

For first-timers, it's really the best. Because they are so afraid, they think that it is a gambling place,

I think the best method really is to use that peso cost averaging. Then, if they have some time.

They have some extra cash, they want to learn timing the market,

learning the psychology of the market, then they're welcome to learn that

because that is what we teach also.

Because for us, our group basically is we do both.

We do peso cost averaging for our children and grandchildren.

Some are old already. And on our own portfolio, we teach basically how to time the market,

and we teach that to a group of our traders who does that for us.

So correct me if I'm wrong, Edward.

There are two kinds of people who plays the stock market or who get into the stock market.

One is the investor or the long-term investor who puts money every month

whether the market is up, whether the market is down.

He chooses great companies and puts it every month.

The second type of person is the trader.

The active investor. He's the one who times the market.

He buys when it's low. He sells when it's high. Am I right?

Yes, it is right. Buy low, sell high in bottoming high markets

because what happens is you have to learn how to distinguish the different market cycle

or economic cycle. And do different strategies during those periods.

So Edward, have you met people who did peso cost averaging and became winners after many years?

Yes, do you remember when we had lunch with a commissioner?

Jenny Cueto. And she was sharing with us, I think, if you remember that

what her father when she was born,

what her father did was open, not a bank account, but a stock broker's account.

Most people do that, when the baby is born or maybe when the baby is 3, 4, 5 years old,

you know, they open a bank account.

That's correct. That's the standard.

But the father of commissioner, he just didn't do it. He bought a…

Yes. What he did that time was he bought San Miguel shares for Jenny for 18 years.

After 18 years, when she had her debut, he gave the stocks of SMC stocks which was worth a lot of money

and told her to sell whenever she need it for her education.

Wow. So you remember that

Yes. He didn't only buy once. He kept on buying.

That's right.

He kept on buying as his daughter grew up.

That's correct.

And in small amount, you know.

Small amounts only, yes.

But at the age of 18, he gave it all to her.

For her education.

For her college and for her…That's incredible.

Look, that was when the time when San Miguel was still strong.

Today, I think there are a lot of good companies which basically our analysts have summarized.

Some of the stocks that we're looking at is really…Ayala land, BPI, SM Prime, Jollibee, Telecom.

These are strong companies that you think will last for the next 50 years the next 100 years.

So you do the peso cost averaging, and what you're saying Edward is that, you know,

you put your money, you buy in small amount, every month.

It requires discipline, you know. That's correct.

That's really the drawback, you know. Like what we are offering is a self-directed kind of retirement

or for your children's education.

So I think the investor has to have the discipline.

In order for them to achieve a lifelong…so at least by 20 years from today they have some life savings

that they can hang on.

Or their children, they don't have to worry about where they are going to get money

for their children's education. That requires a lot of discipline.

The only problem with doing it…Let's say for retirement

or for pension plans or insurance to do all these things is that if you miss payments,

you have to have that discipline because if you miss payments you're going to lose the whole principal.

That's the only difference.

So of course, by the threat of losing that principal. You have that discipline over time.

Even if it's the insurance or pension plans, but here if you are going to invest in the stock market

which you and I are encouraging people, there is no threat.

There is no threat of losing the principal,

but the threat there is you might not have the discipline to do it consistently,

which is required so that it can work.

Without doing the monthly peso cost averaging,

what will happen is that from time to time, you'll miss probably the best opportunity to be able to buy

when the prices are going down.

And that's really the drawback, you know.

A lot of people get scared when the prices are going down.

But they shouldn't.

They shouldn't be able to put consistently the money,

so that they can buy more shares when the prices are down.

As you said, I heard this from you, Edward, that when there's blood in the street,

keep on buying, keep on putting your 5,000 in. That's right. That's right.

The funny part is that most people are scared when the market is really collapsing.

We do not blame them because that's very normal.

But when you are planning for your future, and you designed a program already,

then you should not be afraid.

And the money is very small amount. It's not really a big amount.

You're not putting a hundred percent or borrowing 20%.

You're just putting maybe 10 or 20% of your savings.

Put it in the market consistently, and over time, you will benefit out of it.

Wow. I learned that from you, Edward, when I got to know you,

then I got to know Citiseconline (COL Financial)

I opened an account for Citisec (COL Financial) as an online brokerage,

so I put my money there and every so often, I would put my money in.

And it's funny because I think I have absorbed that whole philosophy so much

that when things are down, when the stocks are down, I'm happy.

Yes, that's correct.

Because I have no plans of selling.

Yes, that's correct.

It's a peso cost averaging. That's for my future.

So when the stocks are down, I'm happy because "Hey, my little amount of money will buy more shares,

and when the stocks are up, it's going to multiply!"

I think that what is really important is because you understand the process,

and you have the discipline to do it on a month-to-month basis which is really required.

Because if you deviate from that, what will happen is the result will be totally different.

But what is important here is that they start learning and understanding these companies,

what the stock market is all about, this is the most important.

Because if they do not understand how to invest in the stock market,

what will happen is that they will always be dependent on the bank and get there very small interest

which over time, basically, they'll probably lose it also because a lot of people I've met, what they say

is that, "Oh the bank just pay me 3 or 4%. You know what do I do this. Why do I do that?"

Eventually they will just lose the principal. That's really the problem.

That's the problem.

And I think the banks basically also have to…not really teach them how to do that

because if they teach them how to do it, then they'll lose their business also.

So there is something to it always.

You know, something came to my mind because you were telling me about your friend who

worked in China Bank.

And he worked there for 8 years.

And then he left the Philippines, but while working at China Bank, he bought stocks of China Bank.

Shares, that's correct.

And then he went to the States for 23 years,

and when he came back, it was worth millions. It was worth millions!

That's correct. That's without peso cost averaging because he just the money there a long time ago.

It's the same as your Pepe and Pilar story.

You put it in 8 years, then you left for 23 years, when you come back it becomes a lot of money.

It's the same story. It's the same thing that you talked about.

And you know what made me realized, Edward, instead of putting your money in the bank

as deposits, why not put your money in the bank by owning the bank?

That's correct. That's very good.

Because at the end, like what you are talking about in your book is that

what happens is that the bank is working for you.

Right? I mean, let's say if you are investor of BPI, or investor if BDO or Metrobank,

instead of putting your money in the bank, you just buy their shares, buy consistently on a monthly basis

or pesos cost averaging. And basically, they are all working for you.

And as long as you choose the good bank that pay the cash dividends

that are really stable, maybe the top 3 or whatever…

And from there, what happens is that you have to reinvest the cash dividend

which you get from the bank, yearly or quarterly,

then you reinvest into it. Once you reinvest it, that is the effect of the compound interest.

The compounding effect is there.

…which is so easy to do in online environment like Citiseconline (Now COL Financial).

So Edward, if someone wants to open an account in Citiseconline (COL Financial)

what does he have to go. Just go to the website?

Yes. It's www.citiseconline.com. (Now, it's www.colfinancial.com.)

CITISECO Online. Yes. Dot com. (www.COLFinancial.com)

And basically, just go to the website.

Download the application form, join our free seminars.

Everything is there. If you want to be passive investor,

you want to start without any knowledge, you can learn our how to invest wisely in the market

and then from there they want to do peso cost averaging, there's a free seminar, one-hour seminar,

they can learn from it.

Now, after several months or several years if they want to become an active investor,

they can join our technical analysis seminar.

There are basic courses there. There are advance courses there.

And from our website they can see a lot of research materials which they can learn.

If they don't understand, they can always join our seminars and from there you know.

I really love bringing this information out there, Edward,

because so many people are afraid of the stock market.

So many people just want to put their money in the bank,

and they and the inflation is going to eat their money.

You know, their one peso today will not be able to buy what

we're buying now, next year, two years, five years from now,

so my heart really goes out for them, but if we can bring this very simple information out,

like if you can save 5000 a month,

you can enroll into this, and you tell them, you know,

the Citiseconline (COL Financial) will tell them,

"Here is the 5 companies that you can put into every single month."

It's going to work for you.

What you said a while ago was really good. Instead of putting your money in the bank,

just put your money in the bank that makes billions every year

and from there over time, consistently, but their share and over time,

it will be worth a lot of money which is good for your retirement.

That's great. Yes.

So Edward, the stock market has been good to you.

That's correct.

For the past thirty-five years. You're now…I'll not divulge how much money you have,

I have an idea. (Laughs)

God has been blessing you through the stock market,

but you've also been a businessman. You run businesses.

There are many people listening right now, and they want to get into the stock market.

So they gave them some information there.

They also want to have their own businesses maybe one day.

Some of them are running their small businesses now.

Can you give us strategies, tips on how can we become successful like you, Edward.

I think what really important is like when you read your books,

basically the truly rich books which I've read also,

Inside that you would see a lot of things that you need to do.

One is that basically, you have to have to learn how to think big.

Think of dreaming. That's very important. You have to have a vision.

To have your dreams, so that you'll be able to…that is already your plan.

In other words, you have an idea of where you want to go

and process how you are going to achieve that.

But of course, I get invited from your financial talks from time to time

and I try to share with them what has been the basic principle,

the basic values that I have imparted most of the time that people ask me about it.

And of course, I talk about that you have to have a good relationship,

not only to your people, then to your customers and then to your suppliers.

The reason behind it is very important.

Because if you keep a good relationship with them,

what will happen is that good times bad times, they will be there for you.

That's what the most important.

When you are building a business, there will be a lot of times that we will have difficulties.

When you have a good relationship with this people, these people will stay with you.

Right? They will help you out. I remember in 1983, 1984, when the devaluation came,

I had some supplier's credit that I owe a lot in Japanese yen and in US dollars.

And from there, my Japanese suppliers came to see me,

and I told him, I said, "Mr. Yoshikawa, I really can not pay you."

He said, "Don't worry, Edward, I will restructure you. I will help you."

And sure enough, 6 months later after the restructuring,

I was able to pay him back because these are the things that are really important.

I think what is there is that you are honest to your supplier;

you're honest to your customer.

Let's say, for example, I have customers, I have some problems with the deliveries

or wood installations, I think what really is important is you have to be honest with them,

face the problem and they just don't, you know, don't know where to look for you, right?

I think what is really important is you face the problem,

and you work with them, work out what is really the problem,

you work with them, work out what is really the problem and do it. And provide that service which they want.

Once you have that kind of relationship, then I think business will just continue to grow.

What I admire about you Edward is the way you value, the way you maintain

and invest in your relationships.

You were telling me that the partners that you have right now in business, you've known for the past,

since you were nineteen years old.

They are my classmates. One is my high school classmate, my partner. The other one

is my college batch mate.

Both of them are still my partners today.

We've been together for…This is our 30th year in business.

Yes and we were very lucky because we started with 50,000 each.

That was 30 years ago. Today, we're still together and the 50,000 became billions.

Over time, yes.

But Edward, how do you do that?

I mean I have heard of so many terrible stories, partners that have separated ways with a lot of bitterness.

Yes that's correct.

How did you do it?

You talked about relationships and you know, relationship is very important but how?

Well I think from the very beginning when we started the business,

we discussed already what are the proper things to do,

and we were thinking also that a lot of times, what happens is that you're saying

that a lot of partners just go separate ways.

But what they don't really understand is that

when the policy is set like I think I shared to you about

paying 20% to the management team,

declaring 20% cash dividend to your shareholders,

16% reinvest into the business or other businesses.

The secret is really the 60%

that is being re-invested into the company.

People don't understand that that is the secret.

That's the compounding effect of the 60%,

which yearly you save and will increase your net worth.

Because a lot of times, when everybody is making a lot of money, what they do is declare a 100% cash dividend.

I think that's really the drawback.

That's an advantage. The advantage really is being able to save the 60%

and re-invest it in other businesses.

Either the same business that you think that you can expand or

you buy other businesses, or using the 60%, you do your R and D and build your organization.

The secret already is the 60% and re-invest it. And that's why we are here today.

The money that we have reinvested, the money that we have made is really basically from the re-investment of the 60%.

And each one of them

has to understand that, well, at least the one who's managing like me if I'm the manager,

I have to basically think also like the other two partners.

Let's say, I call them the silent majority,

we have to satisfy them also.

And the most important really is that you have to have like the second one, the integrity part

because if you don't have the integrity, it will never work.

Because a lot of times, most people they quarrel because the managing director believes

that he is the one that solves everything.

That makes all the money. He doesn't understand that without the contribution

of your partners, there is no way that, you will able to make it.

And that's really the problem with most partnership because they don't understand the importance of the other two,

for example, if I think that I was the only one that made all the money,

then I probably would have brought them out 28 years ago,

right after making the money for the first, second, third year, I would have

said, " Look guys, you know, since I'm the one who is making all the money,

you guys are just silent majority, I'll just take you out.

If I have that kind of mentality,

I'll never be where I am today.

I think that is very important.

Because the one who is running the show has to understand the importance of the other silent majority,

the silent partners who are there for you during difficult times.

That's the most important, not even the money itself,

just the emotional support during difficult times.

That's the secret of it.

Edward, you've gone through so many rough times in the past thirty years

and these partners have been there with you, your friends

Is there some level of commitment? I'm sure you've gone through so many conflicts also.

Of course.

But you've weathered all that. I think because the way, a person of integrity…

they trust you which is the foundation of relationships.

When you trust people, even if sometimes you think differently,

or you go through the conflict, that trust is very important. It's that one that holds you together.

And I think I'm sure I told you also that if you are the one who's the Patriarch,

you have to be fair.

And by being fair alone is not enough.

You have to lose in order for you to gain their confidence.

Not really lose. A little bit of a…

In Tagalog, we say magpalamang…

In a way, it's something like that, in a way

In order for you to be fair, you have to take a smaller share.

Not really a smaller share, but yeah, just to be able to let everybody see that you know, you're taking a

much smaller pie as compared to the rest of the people.

That's where you be able to hold on to everybody,

because they would say that "Ay baka ikaw parati ang lamang.

Ikaw ang humahawak ng negosyo. You are the one running the business, so you are taking advantage of it.

You should always think that you should always be in the losing end.

That's my big lesson from you, Edward. A perfect example that you gave

me is when you have siblings. So many siblings fight for inheritance.

And one of the ways of avoiding that is when the eldest of the siblings

or the leader of the siblings makes the decision,

thinks of the others. He say, "Okay, let's equally divide everything,"

there will be more conflict there.

But what if he says, "No, why don't the best go to my other siblings?"

When there's a sacrifice.

I think the word is sacrifice. Yes.

The patriarch or the eldest has to always sacrifice for the siblings, then everything will be okay.

So it's a process.

And it works not only in the families, but in business partnerships.

That's what I learned from you.

It's so easy to be ruthless, selfish and shrewd,

but then what kind of life is that?

That if you get all the money, you have so many enemies.

Well, I'll always say that you can have all the money in the world,

but if you'll going to lose your soul then it's not working.

And you know, you'll be very lonely, terribly lonely.

You don't have friends. You have all the money, you have all the money.

I think the biggest problem there is that, you have to choose what kind of life you want.

If you choose a life that basically only think of yourself, everything will be very limited.

You can't grow.

But if you think looking at it from the perspective of being responsible for a lot of [people],

like your partners, the people who work for you,

the people around you, your environment, then

life would be more exciting you would love life more, you'll be excited more,

most of the time-- rather than

be bored and just play golf, and not really do anything,

not contributing, and giving back to the society.

Thank you, Edward.

Wisdom. Wisdom from my mentor.

There you have it, brothers and sisters.

Edward Lee.

And I've learned so much from you, Edward.

Thank you. If there's one thing…

one of the major things I learned from you is that is that choosing a life of integrity,

a life of relationships.

That if you want to be happy, you have to invest in relationships

Thank you, Edward for investing in your relationship with me.

It's my pleasure. Haha.

The many times we had lunch over the past years has enriched me so much and thank you.

My pleasure.

There you have it. Edward Lee. And I hope you learned today.

six-hour slices and we can even go one

level deeper by hitting enter again and

we can get some specifics from that

weather slice we can hit back to go up

our menu structure and finally if we want to

manage our different weather locations

we can simply go into the Waypoint

and tap on the menu key and from here we

can edit the name we can edit the

coordinates and we can you delete the

waypoints and that's what we'll do right

Dear America - Cash Me Outside Girl Gets A TV SHOW?!?! WTF?! - Duration: 4:51.

Dear America, Hey listen…

I know things are a bit confusing right now.

It seems like the country hates each other everybody is wrong yet nobody is right.

Nobody can agree on anything.

People are getting shot on a nearly daily basis.

The economy is uncertain.

Fake news is everywhere and Justin Beiber is still making music.

Needless to say the country is going through a pretty rough time lately.

Not to mention the crazy things that are happening in the rest of the world.

War, starvation, terrorism, speedos. We have a new president and at times the future seems

uncertain.

On top of all of that there are a bunch of countries that have been acting like total

dicks lately.

It's times like these that really make me start to question everything.

Now don't get me wrong America, I still love you.

Yeah you take way too much of my money each year with taxes…but I forgive you because

you allow me to be free and live a blessed life.

If I'm hungry you give me the opportunity to drive down the street and order as much

fast food as I can eat even though I know it will eventually lead to a heart attack

one day but I'm allowed to do it because god damn it this is America!

You provide women with the option to wear yoga pants resulting in a mixture of art and

fashion.

Because lets face it, a pretty girl in yoga pants is pretty damn close to art, it's

as close as most of us are gonna get unless we decide to fly to Europe to go look at the

Mona Lisa.

Which is a total waste of time and money when you have something like this walking around

Target.

You also give us the option to watch millionaires give each other brain damage every Sunday

while we sit at home on our couch gorging on pizza and beer.

What I'm trying to say America is I love you.

But…

I don't know if we can be together.

Now listen, It's not you…it's me.

I guess after all we've been through…

I owe you an explanation.

well, I started feeling this way when I was on the internet the other day browsing tmz.com

I know I know, why was I wasting my time on TMZ, well truth be told I have an odd fascination

with celebrity deaths ever since michael jackson died.

I'm not sure why but I do and TMZ is always the place that breaks the news story of a

celebrity death first.

so I find myself there pretty often But that's besides the point, I was on the website looking

to see what's going on in the world of celebrities when I stumbled upon her…

You know who I'm talking about…

Thou that shall not be named..

cash me ousside how bow dat?

Listen I thought we agreed to finally get rid of her.

I thought the 15 minutes were up.

But here we are months later and she is still around but this…this is the last straw!

I saw a news story that stated there are plans to have a reality television show based around

her, her life and her actions.

Why america?!

Why are you doing this to me?

Why are you doing this to us?!

I've always been there for you but now you just turn around and stab me in the back like

this?

Don't you remember what happened the last time you gave somebody like this a television

show?!

Don't you remember what happened?!

"My vag is out"

The smell of Tanning lotion and hair spray still lingers in the air just starting to

dissipate.

yet you go and decide to do this.

Why?

Why would you decide to poison another generation of children by having them exposed to this

abomination?

I thought the kardashians were enough but you decide to one up yourself with this.

Now I'm sorry.

She's only 13, a mere child, I know.

Typically I'm not critical of people like this there are usually some redeeming qualities

that somebody has, but I'm at a loss with this one.

Since we first met her all she has done is fight and cuss and make a fool of herself

in public.

She started off as a joke that people mocked on the internet.

People eventually gave her money and supported her so she continued on her destructive path.Actions

that should have normally been condemned were praised and after all of this you reward her

even more with a television show?!

I can't handle this anymore.

Here she is, 13 years old, causing fights and being a menace to society, thousands of

followers on social media, money, fame, and she gets a television show?

and then we have people like Tanishq…Tanishq…whatever Abraham, 13 years old, he graduated high school

at 10 years old and has been taking college classes for years with a 4.0 gpa, and all

he gets is some dumbass on the internet not knowing how to pronounce his name properly.

Where is the justice?!

So I'm sorry America, I have to leave you here.

We just grew apart okay?

You know in the 90's we were cool I stuck with you through Hanson and the Macarena…but

this…

I can't handle this.

Listen it's not too late.

Maybe she'll fall down a well or maybe the TV companies will realize this isn't the

direction they want to have their networks go, but until that day comes…I think It's

best we go our separate ways.

I still love you but,I just can't look at you right now.

Your OPINION will take you to HELL - Duration: 3:59.

We live in a world of free choice where

people are selfish and opinionated.

Everybody wants to decide for themselves

what they like, what they dislike.

They express their opinion and live

according to their own mind, that which

they like and prefer. People make their

own choices about the doctrines are they

believe in, the way that they understand

the Bible, the church that they want to

attend, because it suits their opinion.

That might be working out for you very

well in this world, but in the kingdom of

God everything is about obedience to

Jesus Christ, not about our opinion. If we

want to enter the kingdom of God we have

to sacrifice our own opinion, our own

ideas, our own preferences and we have to

submit ourselves to Jesus Christ. If you

want to enter the kingdom of heaven and

have eternal life you have to repent, not

only of sin, but of your own opinion, your

own ideas, your own ideals, and you have

to submit yourself to Jesus Christ. You

have to accept Jesus Christ as the Lord

and Master of every aspect of your life,

and you must obey Him. You must live

according to His words and you must do

what He tells you to do. Those who are

being led by the Spirit of God, they are

the sons of God. Jesus does not force us,

He guides us and we have to willfully

submit ourselves to Him. We have to

willfully follow Him and go after Him. We

have to willfully

repent of all sin, willfully repent of

our own opinion and submit ourselves to

Jesus Christ. If we are not willing to

give up our opinion then our opinion will

take us to hell, because it's either

Jesus' way or it is no way. There's only

one way to enter the kingdom of heaven

and that is to follow and obey Jesus

Christ. You might believe in Jesus Christ

for salvation but you will not enter His

kingdom if you do not submit to Him,

sacrifice your own opinion, obey and

follow Jesus Christ. If we do not serve

Jesus Christ as Lord and we do not

submit ourselves to Him, and if we are not

guided by the Holy Spirit we will not

enter His kingdom. If your opinion is

your idol then your opinion will take you

to hell. Repent of your own mind, your own

opinion. Submit to Jesus in everything,

follow and obey Him, and you will have

eternal life. May Jesus bless you.

Jesus Christ is alive and hell is real. I am

here to introduce you to Jesus Christ, so

that you can know Him and follow Him and

have eternal life. Subscribe to my

channel to learn more about Jesus.

May Jesus bless you.
