Waching daily Apr 2 2017

Hello everyone and welcome back to my channel!

In today's video I'm going to show you all the artworks that I made so far,

for my "365 days of drawing".

I started this project on January 1st, of 2017

and the purpose of this challenge was to make me draw every day.

and... I have to admit, it didn't always work.

At the beginning I set up some rules and themes for each day of the week, such as "Fanart Friday", "Magic Monday", and more.

But I ended up ditching them because there were days when I just didn't wanted to stick to the rules...

and ended up not doing anything...

So anyway, I'm all caught up now, and I don't have any "rules" anymore.

I just want to draw something, anything, no matter the size or the complexity, every day.

So first, I have my Sailor Moon folder, with my January art inside it.

Here we go.

Next I have my sketchbook with my February sketches.

Here we go.

And finally I have my March doodles, and another piece.

So let's start with January!

For February, I wanted to be free of rules and themes, and draw projects that were less time consuming,

so most of what's inside are little and simple sketches.

So in March, I took part in Sea Lemon's March Doodle Challenge.

The idea is to doodle something by following the prompts on the calendar.

So, there's a prompt for each day, and I completed it on time.

In march, I also did another piece, for International women's day.

So that's it for my art folder and sketchbook tour, I hope you liked it!

I'm still drawing everyday and I will post on instagram my drawings each time, so you can follow me there if you want to.

And I will do another recap video in three months, when I'm done with more drawings.

Thank you so much for watching, I hope you enjoyed!

If you have a favourite drawing, let me know in the comments below.

And subscribe and like this video if you enjoyed! I will see you next time, bye!

Vellichor - Smell Of Emotions - Duration: 2:46.

Hello, welcome to "counseling & words",

and to my word of today. Today I want to

talk about "vellichor", a very new word. It

appeared only a few years ago and it's

been found all over the media since then;

"vellichor" is the smell of vellum or

parchment, well nowadays or in modern

language we'd say it's the smell of

paper, but meant is actually the smell of

an old bookstore. Have you ever entered

an old bookstore and you were amazed by

the old books and the surroundings?

"Vellichor" this special smell can

trigger your emotions! Well, I have here a

very old book it's about 150 years old.

And, yes this is the smell of "vellichor"!

"Vellichor" smells like endless exciting

possibilities or like the widening of

horizons. The knowledge, feelings, thoughts,

worries and joys of the writers and the

readers of the books are still around,

and you sense the energy that is left

behind in the books. There are many

emotions that we may experience either

from the book or from our own situation

in life while we are reading the book.

When we walk into a bookstore we are

wrapped in a space filled with the

energy of the prior readers. "Vellichor" is

diving into these energy and forgetting

our own worries for a while. I think it's

time to walk into an old bookstore to

get a sense of "vellichor". We may get a

chance to be thrown into a quiet and

calm atmosphere where other values still

exist. That was about my English

word "vellichor". Thank you for watching

and please check out my website. You'll

find the link in the description below.

In case you liked the video give it a

thumbs up, and subscribe to my channel!

Thank you, see you next week!

Slice of Pi Episode 1 - Duration: 7:57.

Hi!

This is Ellybot the Science Nut and welcome to the Slice of Pi.

So today is the first episode and I'm kind of (umm) well, I'm very apologetic about the

quality of this video.

This is kind of just on my web cam.

And I felt like it was an important topic to talk about and I'm going to talk really

briefly about it in my first science hours video, which is which I'm still working on.

But, I'd just kind of felt like it was really important to sort of talk about it right now.

And I'm going to revisit the subject when we get closer to the march.

So, basically on April 22nd on 2017.

There is going to be (umm) a lot of marches across the United States.

It's going to be the march for science.

And for me, my motto is, "I'm going to be marching for science.

I'm going to be marching for myself.

And I'm also going to be marching for my nephews."

And for all the other people in the future.

You know and I just think it's really important that we all get involved for it so, I'm also

going to put a link down below to help you get to that point (umm) Also as I might actually

do a freeze frame and then just kind of spell out the website (umm) for anyone who just

needs audio description for it.

So which is going to happen now.

The website is https://www.marchforscience.com.

If you are listening to the audio the auditory description then go ahead and just click on

(umm) just click on the screen.

I will have an annotation on her so you can go ahead and go straight to the website.

And I will also have an annotation at the end of this video for the facebook group.

And for anyone who cannot make it to the march then you can actually go ahead and volunteer

virutally.

And the website will help you with that.

So yeah, (umm) I just think it's really important.

And just to give some informationto some people who just have no way of getting to these marches

(umm) check in with your local colleges and universities.

I think they have a lot of them have rides and available rides and (umm) car pool system

that can help you get to these places for the marches.

And also, (umm) definitely check out (umm) if they'll nearby cities has anything so (umm)

definitely do that.

The one that I'm going to is going to be the one that is ...I just feel like it's the most

appropriate for me to be at and that will be the one on in DC.

And I'm going to go ahead and do that.

I'm a little nervous about it because I'm not very good with crowds or people (umm)

but I am going with a friend and also know that there is going to be (umm) sort of like

a science fair that is happening.

If I can get more information about that then I will talk about it in the future slice of

pi videos.

So hopefully I can do something about that.

And (umm) yeah so...and I'm sorry if I'm not very expressive in this video.

I just feel like it's it's just a very concerning and very important.

And I guess I just want to touch on why I feel like is important to do that.

Because I just always feel like STEM or STEAM is just the way to go.

Especially for the United States.

We just develop our economy on just being able to develope technology and science and

to be advancing in the world.

And not just, NOT just the U.S. but it's important for the U.S. right now because you know we

are at this point where there is a policy presented to just wipe out science and just

I don't know.

Just have fallacy everywhere and I just I just can't deal with that.

(umm) And I I'm just really surprised at the amount becau... (umm) I don't want to say ignorance.

I guess I'm just surprised at the amount of fallacy that I dealt with.

I did a volunteer (umm) writing job for a while.

Very short while.

I had some dedication issues at the time.

I had school and everything but, the amount of the comments that I got and also (umm)

the responses that I got.

It was just surprising and it opened my eyes.

I was just very surprised at the comments I've got and I...I didn't realize how prevelant

that was in the United States.

I didn't realize how big it was getting and it was just gotten to the point where I just

very disappointed and very scared about that.

So, I don't know.

Sorry if I'm kind of shaky.

I just had caffeine and I'm just very exhausted so, (whooooo) So anyways, I hope I'm not getting

you too down.

(umm) So yeah, March for Science is very important or at least in my opinion it's very important.

I really hope that you will consider how this will affect the local school system and how

this will affect how people will approach science in the future.

I mean if you ...it's almost like giving the okay for certain corporations to just fudge

numbers ... Do you know and Do you know how bad that is?

It's just not only do lawsuits prove it but the number of deaths that is just behind that

and the number of just tricking people and taking people's money and it's just it's just

a really bad thing and I'd just ...I don't know.

So again I'm very tired.

I'm very sorry about that.

And apologies for the quality of the video.

I'm going to try to see if I can make it as HD as I can when I upload it.

Hopefully that'll work out.

But yeah....so Yeah.

March for Science.

April 22nd and I will be in DC.

Also if anyone (umm) will like to be in one of my segments called, "Drinks with Scientists"

Please let me know.

I don't really know anyone at the moment that I can talk to.

Actually I have a couple of people but, people are very busy (umm) especially people who

are in the university system because they are about to you know give out finals for

their students and stuff.

So, I want to give them some time to be able to figure that out.

So if anyone has that will like to do a segment with me or even a quick segment while I am in DC

that'll be really great.

And then (umm) and just you know just comment below and I'll keep in touch and then send

me any of the papers that you had worked on or on anything you done recently so so yeah, anyways thank

you again for listening to me ramble.

(umm) Again Slice of PI.

Just random subjects that doesn't fit in any of my segments.

I am going to touch briefly as a reminder on my next science hours (umm) Science hours

is a lot more time consuming then I had expected (umm) there's just a lot of research and I

just want to make sure that I get everything right and correct and to make them you know

my information a lot more I mean is a mix of science news and education and just I just

want to bring that marriage very well so I'm just trying to take my time to make sure that I

get that right.

Yeah, so again thank you! (umm) And if anyone have any questions go ahead and ask and again

I will put the link down and hopefully I can put as much information as I can.

There's also a facebook group which I will go ahead and link that also.

And let me see what else I can think of.

Oh and Bill Nye is also promoting it so I will also link him to his promotional videos.

So maybe that will give you more information better than listening to me ramble for a while.

So anyways thank you again for stopping by and until next time!

Bye!

GET TO KNOW ME || 5 FUN FACTS ABOUT ME - Duration: 7:57.

Hey guys!

Welcome back to my channel

I hope you guys are doing well

I've been very busy lately working

Yeah, pretty much

Ok so I wanted to film a short video

And I realized that you guys don't really know who I am

So I decided to list some fun facts about who I am

You can learn more about who I am

Now let's get started!

Ok so I may look white

Don't let that fool you

I'm not entirely white

I'm multiethnic

My mom's fully white so that's where I get it from

So I'm 50 percent white

Then my dad on the other side, he's actually half black and half vietnamese

That's how I get my natural curls from obviously

It's frustrating sometimes because you know some people would think

Oh, you're white. You're just white

"There's something different about you like your hair's super curly. I almost never see that around

When summer comes (obviously not right now), that's when the sun comes out and I get tan easily

I do get sunburnt but it turns into tan easily

Ok so what's my natural hair color?

This isn't my natural hair color. It's dyed obviously

So my natural hair color is red

Yeah, I'm a natural redhead

I got it from my dad's side

It's like dark, natural, deep rich red auburn

Growing up, I loved it

After I graduated from high school, that's when I started dyeing my hair

I just wanted something different

So I dyed my hair black, got blonde highlights then recently last year I decided to go blonde all the way

Right now, I'm just letting my hair grow out. I have doubts if I want to go back to my red hair or stick with blonde

I just don't know. I'll see about that

Many of my good friends knows about this

This is coffee!

I have a big obsession for coffee. I'm addicted

God bless

Okay so..

You guys may think that I drink different kinds of coffee like mocha, fancy coffee, steamed milk, flavored ones, frappes, etc

I don't drink those kind of crap. I just don't

From here (home), I usually drink regular black coffee with a little bit of cream and sugar. That's it!

Or if I go to a coffee shop, I would usually... It depends on my mood but most of the time, my to go drink

I'll get espresso shots. And that's the strong kind of coffee or just iced coffee

Just plain iced coffee and add vanilla flavor to balance it out

That's it! Honestly..

Just regular coffee, period

Another obsession I have is sunsets!

Obviously if you guys follow me on Instagram

It's obvious. I post a lot of sunset pictures

I love going sunset chasing

It's always full of colors. Just something about sunsets that makes me relax and be calm

It's great for me especially if I want to escape from "reality" sometimes

Because I'm just overstressed from school, work, etc. I feel overwhelmed and I just need a break

Going sunset chasing if it's on a good sunny day. Unfortunately not right now

That's why I can't wait for summer to come because it's sunny most of the time

So when that happens, I tend to go sunset chasing

Sometimes, I have photo shoots. I would ask some of my friends, who's a model, or whoever's down

I'm like come on let's take some pictures!

What's my passion/hobby?

Photography!

I've loved photography since growing up

I've noticed that I would rather be behind the camera than being in the picture

I would always take pictures

My dad used to give me old film cameras such like Kodak, Nikon, all kinds of stuff like those

And I would just take pictures of everything (literally)

I love love it!

When I first entered public high school,

I noticed that they provided art classes such like photography

Because when I attended middle school (private), it was very small and didn't provide much

So that's why when I got into high school and they provided a large variety of art classes

I was very excited and took a bunch of art classes!

So I took many photography classes from beginner photo 1/2, advanced photo, AP portfolio, including yearbook too as well

Like I would do anything related to photography

I remember my junior year, my dad gave me my first DSLR camera (Nikon D3100)

It was a very basic beginner camera since it was my first professional camera

So I just kept taking pictures and took my friends as my models so I could practice

I noticed I was improving better. Involving with yearbook too

I did many that were related to sports

Because I noticed I was very good with capturing in the moment pictures (candid)

Fast shutter pictures too as well

After I graduated from high school, I kept going on practicing

Then finally people eventually started to ask me to do their pictures

I think last year, that was when I outgrew my old camera and I was ready to upgrade

I was saving up for a long time then finally I had enough money to buy a new fancy camera (Nikon D5300)

And that's what I'm using right now to film this video

So I bought 2 new lens - 50mm and 105mm (micro)

It's really fancy (expensive). It's really huge and heavy

I usually use the 105mm for portraits and long distance since it provides zoom

50mm is good for close ups especially

But anyway, I love love photography

I enjoy taking pictures!

I hope one day, I would open up my business or get more opportunities related to photography

Or whatever you know. We'll see

That's why I'm going to college and figure out what I really want to do

That's what college is for!

Fun place! (sarcasm input)

That's it for the video, I think. I would rather keep this video simple/short

And learn a little bit about who I am

Let me know in the comments if you want to mention something about yourself

I want to talk with you guys and learn more about you in the comments

Feel welcome/free to do so

Don't forget to like this video and subscribe!

I hope you guys have a great week and enjoy life!

Bye guys!
