Hi Guys, and welcome to Blondie and the boys!
Today's makeup tutorial is going to be something dramatic, with full lashes and a cut crease
and shiny lips; something great for a night out on the town.
So let's get to it.
Instead of starting with foundation like I normally do, I'm actually going to start
with my eye shadow.
That way we can get a nice, clean cut crease and also any fall out that happens we can
get rid of that so we can kinda play without having to worry to much today.
So I'm actually going to start with concealer.
It's going to be l'Oreal True Match in the colour ivory and I'm going to just put
that all over as a base, so we get a nice surface to work with and put our shadows on.
So I'm just going to cover it up.
Actually i'm just going to put my hair back and get it out of the way.
And I'm going to go under my eyes as well.
Then I'm going to go in with a translucent powder, any one will do, and just set this.
Because of course we want, it's quite tacky right now.
And we just want to, you know have the…I keep saying "we", I keep talking about
myself in the third person.
That's just weird!
Anyways, I don't want my foundation or…argh!
Because I don't want my shadows to be all not blending properly.
I want them to be nice and smooth, not clumpy or weird.
And then I'm going to go and take my, oh here we go, going to take my Two Faced Semi-Sweet
Chocolate Bar palette.
We are going to be using this mostly today.
And I'll start by just putting a base using the coconut cream just to go over.
I know we set with the translucent powder but this give a nice base to start with.
And then I'm going to going in with a nice fluffy blender brush, argh…blender brush!
And I'm going to use, I'm going to start with the mousse, ahhh!
I'm going to start with…where is he? this one, the mousse.
We'll use that as a nice sort of light/medium brown just as a transition colour.
It's nice not having to worry about any makeup getting, eyeshadow getting on your
face.
And then with my Urban Decay After Dark palette, I'm going to go in with the colour Super
Sonic, never tried it before.
Should be exciting.
And I'm going to take my blender brush and see what happens.
I'll just go in there, it's quite pinky, it's pretty though.
I'm always a bit afraid of the reds because I have such pinky skin.
I kinda don't always want to draw attention to that.
Then I'm going to go back into my Urban Decay palette and get Off Duty and take a
smaller blender brush and just get in the crease.
Tapping off the excess.
Just really sticking in the crease part, just blending out but not going all the way over.
Just so we have a graduation of colours going up.
Then back to my Two Faced palette and going to go in with Hot Fudge and just take my pencil
brush and really tap off the excess again with this one.
Go and let's see, I'm kinda.
Hope you can see what I'm doing.
Just sort of on the edges or corners here.
Kinda closing off that area.
And connecting the lower lid, starting to pull that out a bit.
I'm wanting to pull this out more so I'm going to go in with a little fluffy brush
again into the hot fudge, tapping off the excess, kinda getting more in the crease here.
Just gong to blend it out and see if I like that.
Actually, I'm just going to bring it out a little more here.
Okay, I think I'm actually going to go back in with, what am I going to use, actually
again with the Super Sonic.
I'm going to try that again.
Cuz it's sort of not popping as much.
There we go.
That's better!
See that?
Just a little more colour.
I lost that vibrance a little bit.
And back again with my pencil brush, I'm just going to go into the Two Faced palette
again and take…oh, what am I going to take?
The Puddin'.
It's sort of, oh I guess I haven't shown you this colour.
It's this one right here.
Just a sort of medium dark brown.
And I'm going to go about sort of three quarters of the way in under my eyes, not
completely closing them off.
Oh good, I just like getting black on my nose, cuz that's fun!
Right, then I'm going to go and take the hot fudge colour, it's just a little darker
and just put a tiny bit right there.
And again on this side too.
Then you're going to take a q-tip and just stick it in your oil-free makeup remover and
just get off the excess.
You don't want it too wet.
And we are just going to do a cut crease here like so.
And on the other side too.
Hopefully to match.
And then I'm going to grab a cotton pad and just put a little bit of the oil-free
makeup remover and get rid of everything under here.
And then I'm actually going to do something a little different.
I have got to get some more cream eyeshadows, but I'm going to actually use my Mica Beauty
Cosmetics eye primer.
This might be a little strange but watch, it'll work I hope.
I'm going to go in on my eye lid and just paint this on here.
Just on the lid and it's going to act just like a cream eyeshadow.
And then I'm going to set it with the Butter Pecan , it's this one right here.
And with a flat brush, just dab it in there and tap off the excess and there we go.
Just covering the primer.
Then I'm going to take a cake eyeliner by MAC, I've used it quite a bit.
Taking an angle brush and add the water and see if I can resurrect this a bit, it's
a little dry.
And hopefully not screw this up!
Oops sorry.
ARRRGH!
Because I'm not twenty or thirty, ok I'm in my thirties, but my eyes are a little wrinkly.
So ya, that silly liner like so to do…there's like this little wrinkle right there and it's
like ahhh always screws up my liner.
Ah, to match it!
We'll do lashes last so next we're going to do our primer.
I'll use the NYX Photo Primer, Photo Loving Primer rather.
And let's get some foundation on.
And I'm going to go in with my concealer and redo it, redo under my eyes.
Blender.
Then I'm going to go in with my Mica Beauty Cosmetics Mineral Foundation Powder.
And then with my NYX palette I'm going to go and do some highlighting with this one
right her and what is it called?
It's called Ice Queen.
And with a highlighter brush.
Actually, you know what I'm going to bronze my face, my face doesn't really match my
body at the moment.
Just go in there and pull out a bit of colour.
And then again for contouring I'm going to go in with my NYX palette and grab the
colour Toffee.
And do my cheek bones, just chisel them out.
A little jaw line and of course the forehead.
Just shrink that down a little bit.
So I just realized that my mic was off while I was doing my eyebrows so that's great,
so fun!
Cuz my battery died so I had to put it in so I turned off the mic to save the battery
for the mic and did not turn it back on, so.
Um, anyways, I did my eyebrows.
Hope you can see.
And now I'm doing mascara before we do our fake lashes.
So, I hope you're all caught up!
I'm going to do my lower lashes after.
And then I'm going to go and use, what am I using?
I'm using Ardell Whispy, Whispies!
K, these are cute, I like these Whispies!
And then I'm going to go and put a little mascara on the bottom.
And for lips I'm going to use Anastasia Beverly Hills the liquid lipstick in Crush.
It's a little bit darker then what I wanted so I'm actually going to take this Lancome
Juicy Tube, just a clear gloss and see what that's like.
So there you guys go it's the finished look.
It's a little more dramatic then what I normally wear, especially with this coloured
lip.
But hey, it's fun to try something new sometimes.
Anyways, hope to see you back here soon.
