Hey, what's going on, guys?
Adam here with americanmuscle.com.
Today, I'm bringing you a quick overview of the Jammock Truck Hammock, fitting all '97
to 2016 F-150s.
So in this video, I'll be going over the functionality and styling you can expect when picking up
the hammock from Jammock, as well as the construction and materials, of course.
Then I'll take you through the installation, which I'll tell you upfront will get a solid
one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter, so let's jump right into it.
The Jammock Truck Hammock I have with me today on the table here is gonna be for all 1997
all the way up to 2016 F-150 owners out there looking for a very unique and stylish way
to kick back and relax while out camping or off-roading with your truck or if you're looking
for a nice way to secure some loads.
The hammock I have with me today covers virtually your entire truck bed for a very convenient
and relaxing way to kick back while you're out camping or off-roading.
Now, the good thing about this one here from Jammock is that it covers virtually any generation
of F-150 dating all the way back to 1997.
So You can expect this product here to be 5 by 5 feet long with a 7-foot wide diagonal
space, just big enough for about anybody here, and it also has 13-feet straps, big enough
for any truck bed or truck bed rails.
Now, this one here will support up to 350 pounds of weight, but you definitely wanna
check with your tie-down anchors and what they support.
Now, unfortunately they won't be included in the kit, but you can pick those up at any
convenient hardware store for very cheap that'll work in conjunction with the Jammock Hammock
I have here today.
Now, price-wise, if you are interested in picking up the Jammock Truck Hammock I have
with me today, expect to be spending just shy of $200, which, in my personal opinion,
is very worth it for a unique and exciting to kick back while you're out camping or off-roading.
Now, I did personally actually lay in this thing when we had it installed on one of our
trucks, and I gotta say it was pretty comfortable.
It gets a little slightly uncomfortable when you hit the middle of the anchors, but then
again, if you put some pillows and lace it up with some blankets, it's definitely a good
way to relax.
Now, kicking it over to the installation portion of the video, like I said a bit earlier, you
will have to pick up your own tie-down anchors, which you can get at any convenient hardware
store.
D-rings work best.
However, round bull points or the pocket types will work as well, depending on their weight
supports.
Now, once you get those installed on your bed rails on each one of the corners, lace
the actual straps through each one of those tie-down anchors and tighten them down using
the buckles on each bed rail.
Now, once you get those laces through those tie-down anchors and it's tightened down with
the buckles, you're good to go.
Overall, just a couple of minutes for the installation, not including your tie-down
anchors, but you wanna check the installation guide on those as well before you get started.
Now, overall, like I said, this one gets a one out of three wrenches on our difficulty
meter, something anybody can do with just a bit of time in the driveway at home.
Just to wrap things up, guys, if you're the owner of a '97 all the way up to '16 F-150
and you're looking for a convenient and stylish way to kick back and relax while you're out
camping or off-roading or if you're looking for a way to secure some loads in the back
of your truck, you might wanna check out the Jammock Truck Hammock, which, of course, is
available right here at americanmuscle.com.
