Waching daily Jun 13 2017

Hey, what's going on, guys?

Adam here with americanmuscle.com.

Today, I'm bringing you a quick overview of the Jammock Truck Hammock, fitting all '97

to 2016 F-150s.

So in this video, I'll be going over the functionality and styling you can expect when picking up

the hammock from Jammock, as well as the construction and materials, of course.

Then I'll take you through the installation, which I'll tell you upfront will get a solid

one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter, so let's jump right into it.

The Jammock Truck Hammock I have with me today on the table here is gonna be for all 1997

all the way up to 2016 F-150 owners out there looking for a very unique and stylish way

to kick back and relax while out camping or off-roading with your truck or if you're looking

for a nice way to secure some loads.

The hammock I have with me today covers virtually your entire truck bed for a very convenient

and relaxing way to kick back while you're out camping or off-roading.

Now, the good thing about this one here from Jammock is that it covers virtually any generation

of F-150 dating all the way back to 1997.

So You can expect this product here to be 5 by 5 feet long with a 7-foot wide diagonal

space, just big enough for about anybody here, and it also has 13-feet straps, big enough

for any truck bed or truck bed rails.

Now, this one here will support up to 350 pounds of weight, but you definitely wanna

check with your tie-down anchors and what they support.

Now, unfortunately they won't be included in the kit, but you can pick those up at any

convenient hardware store for very cheap that'll work in conjunction with the Jammock Hammock

I have here today.

Now, price-wise, if you are interested in picking up the Jammock Truck Hammock I have

with me today, expect to be spending just shy of $200, which, in my personal opinion,

is very worth it for a unique and exciting to kick back while you're out camping or off-roading.

Now, I did personally actually lay in this thing when we had it installed on one of our

trucks, and I gotta say it was pretty comfortable.

It gets a little slightly uncomfortable when you hit the middle of the anchors, but then

again, if you put some pillows and lace it up with some blankets, it's definitely a good

way to relax.

Now, kicking it over to the installation portion of the video, like I said a bit earlier, you

will have to pick up your own tie-down anchors, which you can get at any convenient hardware

store.

D-rings work best.

However, round bull points or the pocket types will work as well, depending on their weight

supports.

Now, once you get those installed on your bed rails on each one of the corners, lace

the actual straps through each one of those tie-down anchors and tighten them down using

the buckles on each bed rail.

Now, once you get those laces through those tie-down anchors and it's tightened down with

the buckles, you're good to go.

Overall, just a couple of minutes for the installation, not including your tie-down

anchors, but you wanna check the installation guide on those as well before you get started.

Now, overall, like I said, this one gets a one out of three wrenches on our difficulty

meter, something anybody can do with just a bit of time in the driveway at home.

Just to wrap things up, guys, if you're the owner of a '97 all the way up to '16 F-150

and you're looking for a convenient and stylish way to kick back and relax while you're out

camping or off-roading or if you're looking for a way to secure some loads in the back

of your truck, you might wanna check out the Jammock Truck Hammock, which, of course, is

available right here at americanmuscle.com.

2009-2014 F150 Smoked LED Tail Lights Review & Install - Duration: 3:34.

Hey, what's going on guys?

Adam here with americanmuscle.com, and today I'm bringing you a detailed review of the

Smoked LED Tail Lights, fitting all the '09 to '14 F-150's.

Now, this is gonna be for the '09 to '14 F-150 owner out there looking to switch up the rear

end of your truck with a very aggressive darker housing, darker lens, with a brighter light

LED Tail Light such as the smoked ones I have here today.

Now, we all know switching up the look of your F-150 can be as simple as swapping out

some aftermarket tail lights such as the smoked LED options I have here today.

Now, if you're not looking for this particular style, there are other options on americanmuscle.com,

such as the red smoked, the red clear chrome, black and black smoke.

So there definitely are a lot of preferences out there to fit your particular style.

So this particular smoked LED option is gonna be for the truck owner looking to get a darker

housing with a darker lens while upgrading to a better visibility with the LED options

over your halogen.

So, with these, you're not only replacing your lenses, but you're completely replacing

your factory housing and your halogen bulbs replacing them with the new housing and an

all-around better, more modern LED lighting that will shine through even the darkest of

lenses which is especially useful for you guys going for the smoked look for better

visibility at night.

So the Smoked LED Tail Light option I have here as well as all the other options I've

mentioned today, will all pretty much share the same design and same overall housing structure

across the board.

Now, the electronics and lighting will all stay the same offering the better-upgraded

LED lighting that will shine through your lenses, even the smoked ones, offering a better

lighting that'll last longer than your standard halogens.

Now, speaking of the housing, you'll notice there are two separate LED banks on top of

each other offering 12 LEDs a piece for a total of 24 giving you maximum visibility

even at night.

Now, between the two LED banks, you'll see there's gonna be the white reverse light utilizing

your white reverse light bulb out of your factory housing.

The rest of the housing has reflectors just like your OEM ones would while still utilizing

whatever style and preference of the housing that you're choosing.

Now, the back of the LED Tail Lights will utilize a very, very simple, direct plug and

play style connector that'll hook painlessly into your factory wiring harness.

Now, they also have resistors already installed in the housing that'll make for a very simple

install as well, so you don't have to worry about getting the correct power to your lights

as it's already done for you.

Now, I do want to point out, in addition to the six options I've talked about today, there

are other aftermarket LED Tail Lights options on the market.

To pick up a set of these, you're looking at spending about $300, and at just $80 more

than that you can pick up of a set a name brand Tails Lights like Recon, but I do wanna

say that these options they do feel like OEM, they would save you some money over a painless

installation, so there definitely is some bang for your buck here.

Now, speaking of the installation, you can expect to be spending just a little bit of

time in your driveway at home with a couple of simple hand tools like a ratchet and an

eight millimeter socket.

Now, to kick off the installation, you can drop your tailgate and remove the two eight

millimeter bolts holding on each side of your tail lights.

Now, once you get the eight-millimeter bolts off, you can pull the tail lights away from

your vehicle and set them aside.

Once you have the factory tail lights set aside, pick up your aftermarket set, hold

them up to the vehicle, and plug in the connectors.

Make sure the LED's work before completing your installation by turning on your lights,

showing that all LEDs are working properly.

Once you make sure the LEDs are working properly, put them into your vehicle, re-install the

two eight millimeter bolts, throw out the tailgate and you're good to go.

Overall, you're looking at spending about 30 minutes or so on both sides of the tail

lights, making it a very simple install for anyone that would definitely give this a one

out of three wrenches on a difficulty meter.

Just to wrap things up guys, if you're the owner of an '09 to '14 F-150, and you're looking

to switch up the rear end look of your truck by adding a very aggressive darker lens, darker

housing with a better lighting system then you might want to check out the LED Tail Lights

in a smoked option I have here, available right here at americanmuscle.com.

2004-2008 F150 Lund Elite Series RX-Rivet Style Fender Flares Review & Install - Duration: 4:08.

Hey, guys, Adam here with americanmuscle.com.

Today I'm bringing you a quick overview and installation of the Lund Elite Series RX-Rivet

Style Fender Flares in the textured finish fitting all 2004 to 2008 F-150.

So in this video, I'll be going over the functionality and styling of the Lund Elite Series Fender

Flares I have with me today as well as the materials and construction.

I'll top the video off with the installation which I'll let you know up front is a very

simple one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter.

The Lund Elite Series RX-Rivet Style Fender Flares in the textured finish will be for

any 2004 to 2008 F-150 owner looking to get some added protection for their fenders to

provide additional tire clearance for a bigger wheel and tire package or if you're looking

for a nice rugged off-road look.

So as I'm sure most of you are aware, fender flares really have two primary functions.

The first of which is being able to provide additional wheel and tire clearance for those

bigger tire setups.

What that means is if you have a bigger wheel and tire set up that protrudes and is wider

than your stock Fender, unfortunately, your rig is illegal for street use.

Fender flares give you that additional tire clearance to really make your rig street legal.

So, of course, that second main function is going to be protection.

Protection against road hazards like rock, some mud and other road debris, especially

useful for the guys out there taking their F-150 off-roading.

Even if you're not off-roading, if you're going onto the worksite constantly or if you're

just using it as a daily commuter, rocks, and other road debris can definitely pose

a threat to your factory paint, your fender flares and of course your body panels.

Setting on some fender flares will definitely add some protection and sturdiness to give

you that peace of mind that you need.

Now, that'll bring me to my third point.

Of course, in addition to functionality, there's always appearance and styling.

So maybe you don't take your F-150 off-roading constantly or to the work site, but you still

wanna capture that rugged off-road styling.

You can capture that styling with a set of these fender flares simply because it offers

the rivets filing I mentioned before from Lund, has a textured finish here, and definitely

look too badass giving you that wide body stance on your F-150.

So this particular option of fender flares from Lund offers a pocket cut out style appearance

for a rugged off-road design, accented by stainless steel rivets, great for any off-roader

or even just a daily commuter.

This option from Lund was manufactured right here in the USA out of a Durable Tri-Flex

material which is an ABS thermal plastic, a very flexible and durable, long lasting

use material here to hold up against your daily commuting, and of course your off-road

trail hazards.

On top of that, there's the stainless steel hardware and accented rivets all included

in the box, and all this is completed in a textured matte black finish to give it that

off-road styling.

Now, of course, this material is custom paintable, so if you want to take it to your local paint

shop to get it paint matched to your factory colors, of course, you can do that.

I will, however, recommend the smooth option over the textured finish from one which is

also available on americanmuscle.com just because aftermarket paint might show up a

little bit better on a smooth option as opposed to the textured.

But of course, it's always possible.

Now as far as pricing goes for this particular product from Lund, expect to be spending just

north of 400 bucks which in my personal opinion can sound like a lot of money up front.

But if you look at the alternative of having to pick up a new body panel because of damage

taken on, then, of course, you have to get it painted, the labor to get it installed,

can definitely rack up the cost, and this can prevent you from spending all that money

in the future.

Now, as far as the installation goes for this, as I mentioned in the beginning, it will get

a solid one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter, does not require any drilling or permanent

modifications to the side of your F-150.

All you have to do is use the hardware included in the kit to install it, and the pre-drilled

holes in your fender flares and of course in your wheel wells.

These already have the pre-drilled holes in the materials and then, of course, install

your accented stainless steel rivets.

All said and done, you're looking at about an hour or two of installation time, and of

course that one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter.

Just to wrap it up here, if you're the owner of a 2004 to 2008 F-150 and you're looking

for a way to get some additional tire clearance, pick up a rugged off-road design, or of course

protect the side profile of your F-150, you might wanna check out the Lund Elite Series

RX-Rivet Style Fender Flares in the textured finish available right here at americanmuscle.com.
