Sports Psychology & Music Performance | Juilliard Conquering Performance Anxiety Online Course - Duration: 1:12.
♫ ♫ ♫ [upbeat music]
I don't think that there are a lot of folks who have also had a background in
music and have really taken the time to try to integrate both what musicians
have said over the years and also with the research in sport and performance
seems to indicate. I think that intersection of both musicians' insights
and research insights and that overlap between the two...to be able to see that,
"Oh you know what? These things that these musicians have been talking about
there's something to that." And then to understand how to not just lean back and
think, "Huh, that's really interesting." But, "Okay, this is how I actually practice
these skills. This is how I actually make this a part of how I perform and how I
prepare for performances." And so my hope is that as you start developing these
very tangible, concrete skills, you'll not only experience a difference onstage but
your sense of control will also change. You'll feel that you actually can do
something that will make a difference on stage instead of just crossing fingers
and hoping that it's one of those good days that comes along every so often.

Cover of "Bad Things" by MGK & Camila Cabello - Corinne Crimson (Acoustic Guitar w/ Chords & Lyrics) - Duration: 4:07.
Hey, I'm Corinne Crimson Coming to you from Newport, Oregon
This song is called Bad Things and it's by Machine Gun Kelly and Camila Cabello
Am I out of my head? Am I out of my mind?
If you only knew the bad things I like Don't think that I can explain it
What can I say, it's complicated No matter what you say
No matter what you do I only wanna do bad things to you
So good, that I can't explain it What can I say, it's complicated
Nothing's that bad If it feels good
So you come back Like I knew you would
And we're both wild And the night's young
And you're my drug Breathe you in 'til my face numb
Drop it down to that bass drum I got what you dream 'bout
Nails scratchin' my back tatt Eyes closed while you scream out
And you keep me in with those hips While my teeth sink in those lips
While your body's giving me life And you suffocate on my kiss Then you said
I want you forever Even when we're not together
Scars on my body so I can take you wherever
I want you forever Even when we're not together
Scars on my body I can look at you whenever I say
Am I out of my head? Am I out of my mind?
If you only knew the bad things I like Don't think that I can explain it
What can I say, it's complicated Don't matter what you say
No matter what you do I only wanna do bad things to you
So good, that you can't explain it What can I say, it's complicated
I can't explain it I love the pain
And I love the way your breath Numbs me like novacaine
And we are always high Keep it strange I'm insane But you the same
Let me paint the picture Couch by the kitchen Nothin' but my heels on
Losin' our religion I'm your pretty little vixen
And I'm the voice inside your head That keeps telling you to listen to all the
bad things I say And you said
I want you forever Even when we're not together
Scars on my body so I can take you wherever
I want you forever Even when we're not together
Scars on my body I can look at you whenever
Am I out of my head? Am I out of my mind?
If you only knew the bad things I like Don't think that I can explain it
What can I say, it's complicated No matter what you say
No matter what you do I only wanna do bad things to you
So good, that you can't explain it What can I say, it's complicated
The way we love, is so unique And when we touch, I'm shivering
And no one has to get it Just you and me
'Cause we're just living Between the sheets
I want you forever Even when we're not together
Scars on my body so I can take you wherever
I want you forever Even when we're not together
Scars on my body I can look at you whenever I say
Am I out of my head? Am I out of my mind?
If you only knew the bad things I like Don't think that I can explain it
What can I say, it's complicated No matter what you say
No matter what you do I only wanna do bad things to you
So good, that you can't explain it What can I say, it's complicated

Tip 3 - Types of Medical Schools - Duration: 2:38.
Good day! My name is Dr. Chan, Dean of Admissions here at the University of Utah
School of Medicine. I'm excited today to talk about different types of medical
schools, this is our tip number three in our series of how to get your
application ready. I have an exercise for you. Please close your eyes, go ahead
close your eyes, now think. How did you come to the decision to attend your
undergrad? What did you do? Why did you go there? For a lot of you, you have to
think back to your high school days that might be pretty hard. I would argue the same
process that you did to figure out why you chose your undergrad, you have to
figure out for medical school, for graduate school. Let's go back to Jack
and Jill. Jack loved skiing, that was his passion in high school. He loved outdoors,
he loved doing different types of activities. So when he started looking
undergrads, he naturally was attracted to schools in the North East, maybe in Utah,
Minnesota where there's a lot of snow. Jill on the other hand loved to go swimming.
She was a swimmer in college and she liked the sun and she hates the snow. So,
she decided to go to a school in California. So weather and climate certainly
is an indication, but maybe Jack's family was in the Northeast, maybe Jill's family
is in California. These type of factors go into it. Now you put on top of
it schools, taking tours, financial aid,
things like that. As a high schooler, as a high school student, you had to make a
decision why you applied, why you went to a specific school. As someone who's
applying to med school, you have to go through the same process. Research online,
visit the campus, talk to friends, family who attended. Compare different
programs and finances. These are all things that probably went into your
decision as you picked an undergrad. If you're applying to an MD school, that's
considered an Allopathic school. It's a doctor in medicine. There's something
called Osteopath, your Osteopathic those are DO schools. What's the difference?
I'm going to leave that up to you to research. There are many similarities but
there's some differences as well. Where do you want to go in life? Do you wanna
go in the Caribbean? You want to go to med school in a different country far away?
Again, everyone's different. Everyone has different desires, have different dreams,
so it's really important to find the best fit and match for you. There's a
phrase I like to say, all medical schools are created equal
some are more equal than others. You really have to do a lot of research. So
when you start applying to schools, have a method. Do your research ahead of time
because it's expensive to apply to medical schools, It's expensive to
interview at schools. You should really know which ones you should apply for
and where you should go. That's a brief description of
differences between different types of schools and an exercise to help kind of
have you imagine where you should go. I look forward to seeing your applications,
thank you.

PRO TIPS ON APPLYING BLUSH! - Duration: 5:33.
hey guys welcome to another bathroom vlog I'm still in Dallas and it's
probably still echoing here and the lines still a little weird
oh we're just going to go with it I thought I would give you guys my top
tips on applying blush today I'm just getting ready so I figured I'd hop on
here and just show you guys a little blush tutorial if you guys don't really
love the lighting or the sound in this video I have a lot of other videos with
better lighting and other sound so I'll post a little card right here if you
want to go and watch it but if you'd like to stick around let's get started
so the first thing when applying blush is you want to make sure you have a
really good brush that is very fluffy and very movable you don't really want
to use a very stiff brush when applying blush stiff brush when applying blush
because that's when it creates very harsh lines on your face and you don't
want any harsh lines that's like number one thing no harsh lines so this is one
of my favorite brushes it's by Real Techniques and it's just one of their
blush brushes I love this brush so much it's just tapered and it's super soft
and bendable and it really is great for blending next thing it's choosing your
blush colors for your skin tone I can't wear a lot of corley colors with my skin
tone and it almost makes me look a little washed out and just it's not very
nice it doesn't compliment me very well I would just test out blushes on your
face go to Sephora you know test them out on your face and see which one
complements your skin tone you'll be able to know right away like woah that
makes my eyes pop or whoa that really makes my future stand out today I'm
going to be using this blush a cure I absolutely love it I used it in one of
my last videos it's in the shade Savi it is just such a pretty bronzy pink I love
blush with a little bit of shimmer because I don't always love to apply
highlight all the time I find that highlight really breaks me out so when I
find a blush that looks good on me that has a little bit of shimmer I love that
because I really don't have to hiya highlighter but I also really do
love matte blushes so if you're somebody who doesn't really like that shine you
can always go for a matte blush tarte has a ton of matte blushes this is in
the shade part a what I've noticed a lot of people do is they've been told to
apply the blush on the apples of their cheeks which is not wrong you can apply
on the apples of your cheeks that I notice when you smile and then you apply
the blush when you don't smile anymore all of these lines where you apply the
blush go down into your mouth so you don't want your blush to be applied of
right here like that doesn't look good so I don't ever smile you want to just
find the apples of your cheeks which you find that are a little bit higher and
you just apply it there and then you also want to bring it back just gently
onto the high points of your cheekbones so I'll show you guys right now you can
smile a little bit if you want just to find the apples but then I always go a
little bit higher than I normally would because you'll find when I stop smiling
it really won't make a difference so I applied here so apply a little bit
higher than you think you would and you're just going to blend it back
towards your temple you'll find this really helps lift and elongate your face
and you also want to turn your head as you're applying your blush when you look
at your blush straight on it might look great but if you turn it and you see
well there's a really harsh line you want to make sure to blend that out it
also take this where I brought my bronzer so in my hairline a little bit
on my temple I find when you apply your blush on other places besides your
cheekbones it actually makes you look really sunkissed and glowy and just like
where the natural sign would kind of hit your face and you know make your face a
little flush I love I love that look so let's do this to the other cheekbone you
never want to bring it down here where your contour is supposed to be I see
that as being a big mistake I always just keep my head
turned like this so I can really see if there's any harsh lines and you can
always go as dark as you want with your blush I like to go a little bit lighter
in the daytime and a little bit darker at night if I'm going to be more in mood
lighting kind of setting just so it will stand out a little bit more then I'm
going to apply just so hint on my forehead just a hint and a little down
the center of my nose maybe like to pretend like I was on the Sun maybe got
a little sun kissed and also on my chin underneath my jawline and I always like
to bring a little bit of blush down on my collarbones as well
another thing is always look at your face outside of the natural lighting too
because it can look totally different than bathroom lines like always just
take a little handheld mirror run outside and look really quick if you can
if you can't it's whatever but sometimes when I go into the car I'm like whoa did
not know I applied that much blush or whatever so just always kind of check
before you head out the door so I hope you all enjoyed one another one of these
little tip tutorial bathroom kind of vlog videos thank you all so much for
watching don't forget to hit that subscribe button down below and I'll see
you next time

3 Day Study Challenge - Simple Past - Day 2 - Duration: 9:17.
day 2 today we are going to focus on negative sentences in the simple past
hey guys teacher Prix here to help you talk to anyone anywhere anytime in
English day two of the study challenge today we
will focus on negative sentences in the simple past in English did you do
your homework huh did you do your homework for day one I'm going to see
your three activities okay in the comments if you don't know what I am
talking about watch this video day one and you'll see what I am talking about
watch until the end I already told you that simple past is a
conjugation, it is a tense to describe finished activities they're over they
happened in the past. Last year, I went to Rio de Janeiro, past okay finished
activities, today we will continue talking about simple past but we will focus on
negative sentences yesterday I also showed that in the simple past we have
regular verbs and irregular verbs what is this these are two kinds of verbs
that we have when we are using them in the past
actually they are not two kinds of verbs, they are two kinds of conjugation we have in the
simple past because we need to change the verb to indicate that my phrase is
is the past if you don't change I will understand that you are talking about
simple present and that's not what you want okay now how do we make negative
sentences in the simple past in English first I will show you a very basic
sequence for negative sentences okay P N V C what this this is a basic
sequence an order you need to follow to make negative sentences in the past
but remember this is a basic sequence you will learn more things about
possible words you can include in this sequence adverbs for example so today
this is a very simple sequence okay so P is my person my pronoun John Jack
the kids the teachers I you we okay my N, now this is new this is the part
where I show that it's a negative sentence in the past and you will always
need didn't which is abbreviated for did not didn't so person, n will
always be didn't then you have the verb then you have the complement
let's see an example Jack didn't go to school yesterday so jack is my person
didn't to show that it's a negative sentence in the past didn't or did
not okay go my verb to school yesterday my complement
Now if you pay attention at my verb go is normal is in the infinitive form without
to because in a negative sentence I don't change my verb my verb goes back
to normal Jack didn't go to school yesterday
another sentence the kids didn't eat the cake didn't I need didn't eat no
conjugation the simple past form of eat is ate but in the negative form you need to
say eat okay you don't conjugate you are using didn't
the kids person didn't the "n" to negate ok "eat" verb is normal again then your
complement now we have some exceptions to these "don't change" explanation okay
be and can for example verb to be in the past is was and wore and this is an
independent verb this is a free verb verb to be doesn't need anything ok so
if you're going to use the verb to be in the past you are going to say was or
were if you're going to say a negative phrase with the verb to be in the past you're
going to say wasn't or weren't so I wasn't hungry yesterday I wasn't happy
yesterday wasn't continues in the past verb to be was you don't need to use
didn't you don't ok no no no no and you just put was in the negative form
wasn't .Could is the pest of can and the same thing happens here if you want to
use could in affirmative forms there you go if you're going to use
could in the negative form you will continue using could in the simple past
conjugation so could becomes couldn't okay now these are very specific verbs
okay all the other general common verbs will follow the "no change" rule okay now
let's focus on some mistakes Mark didn't went to school yesterday
here I'm using didn't but I'm using "went" which is the past form of "go" I
can't do that I can't say didn't and say went I say didn't and go okay I don't
traveled last year hmm "Don't" is what we use in the simple
present to make negative sentences in the simple past we use didn't okay
and remember in negative sentences my verb goes back to normal
so travelled ED regular verb cannot be conjugated in the negative sentence so I
have to say I didn't travel last year I wasn't go to school yesterday this
mistake is very interesting it's the use of verb to be in the past remember was
were and many times students use wasn't instead of didn't okay to negate
the sentence but this is not okay you cannot use wasn't to show past in a
sentence if you're using another verb there is a conjugation for this, there is a
different tense which we call past continuous but it's a different
conjugation we're going to talk about this in the future the focus is not this
today we are talking about simple past and if you say I wasn't to go to work
yesterday it's incorrect you have to say I didn't go to work yesterday as I said
there are exceptions to this explanation verb to be and can (modals) could in the past
verb to be was were these verbs change in affirmative form negative form and
questions and with these verbs you don't need di didn't goodbye we don't need
you okay so did you understand today's lesson I hope so and now I have
homework for you I want you to write three things you didn't do yesterday
here in the comments game on I will read your answers and leave you a comment
okay don't forget to share this video on your social media facebook, twitter, google plus
and other social media and like to this video I
hope you are enjoying this study guide don't forget that on this day
there will be a live video here on YouTube to answer your additional
questions or doubts about simple past okay thank you guys and I'll see you
tomorrow bye
