Sennheiser HD 1 Review: The Only Wireless Headphones You Need - Duration: 2:21.

Picking the right pair of headphones for you can be tough.

You have to think about how much they cost,

what they look like, how way they fit on your head.

And obviously, you care about the sound.

Plus there are tons of brands that make them

The pair of wireless headphones that checks the most boxes for me

are the Sennheiser HD 1 wireless over ears.

The sound quality is wonderful.

base beats feel full and satisfyingly thunky,

middle notes are clean and bright.

And scratchy sounds or whispers have a very satisfying texture.

The noise-cancelling on the headphones is also really great.

If you're walking on the street you won't hear the people around you,

but if there's a siren that goes by, you will hear that. As in you will hear the important things.

The one thing about the noise cancelling is that you can't turn it on and off,

once it connects to your phone, it's on. That might be a drawback for some people.

The materials are excellent.

All of the soft parts are sheaved in this creamy dark leather.

The cup pads are incredibly squishy and marshmallowy,

they feel really great along the side of your head.

And they don't have that super firm grip that some headphones have.

The Bluetooth is totally seamless and totally easy.

It just takes one touch to link it with your phone.

Once you're listening to music, the volume button also is the pause button and the skip ahead button.

You can feel it very easily without looking.

The set remains charged for up to 22 hours.

The Bluetooth range is remarkable I actually tested it out and I walked an entire city block away from my phone

and I had no disruption in any of the noise.

It will skip a little bit that's how you know you're at the end of your range,

but, a whole city block worth of bluetooth range is pretty good.

Fair warning,

All this quality comes at a price.

If you're looking for a good pair of wireless headphones, it's gonna run you between $120 and $500.

The HD 1s are $499.95.

They are right at the tippy top of the range.

But

for the build quality,

the easy technology,

the great sound, and I think the overall handsomeness,

these are worth the investment

Equine Lameness Exams - Duration: 10:01.

DR ANDY KANEPS: I'm Dr. Andy Kaneps of Kaneps Equine.

Today we're going to discuss lameness examinations

of your horse.

What we look for in a lameness examination

is gait abnormalities.

Normally a horse's gait is symmetrical and smooth.

When something either doesn't feel right

when you're riding your horse, or doesn't look right to you

or your trainer when the horse is in hand,

may indicate a gait abnormality that needs examination.

These examinations may amount to very subtle lamenesses that

are very difficult for you to see,

all the way to full non-weight-bearing lamenessess.

And the degree and extent of the lameness examination

will vary based on the nature of that lameness,

either severe or very mild.

What you want to have available when your veterinarian arrives

for the exam is a good, detailed history of when

the lameness was first seen, what

was first seen regarding the gait abnormality,

and what, if any, treatments may have been

undertaken before the exam.

You'll want to have a good lead rope, a lunge line,

and potentially your riding tack, because a subtle lameness

may only be evident when you're in the saddle.

The goals of the lameness examination

are to make as detailed a diagnosis as possible.

We want to determine where the major site of discomfort

is, what part of the leg or back or neck or what have you.

And then, what is causing that discomfort.

So we can offer treatment options

and also provide you with a prognosis.

You know, what are our chances of using

treatment A, with having a full result of a sound horse.

We start the examination by looking at the horse

from a bit of a distance.

How does the horse stand?

Does the horse point with a foot?

Does he not bear weight on a particular leg?

Does he have recognizable swelling in any part of the leg

that wasn't present before the lameness started?

Those facts are really important to assess

while we're asking the history from the owner or trainer

to determine what events may have led up to the lameness.

We move up onto the horse and do a detailed palpation

of neck, back, and limbs, looking for sites of discomfort

on palpation, swellings, extra fluid in joints,

and areas that we may focus more detailed evaluations.

After that, I like to see the horse moved,

in hand, on a hard surface.

The ideal surface is a flat driveway, asphalt or concrete.

But a flat surface that's hard will give us more information

about subtle lamenesses.

We start by walking the horse in about

a 30-yard long straight line, turn,

and walk back to the examiner.

What we look for at the walk is how

the horse sets the feet down.

Do the feet land heel, toe, which is normal?

And land evenly from the inside to the outside hoof wall?

Normally, they would land all but simultaneously.

Also we see, at the walk, how the horse tracks.

Does the horse swing the legs in or stand very narrow

at the walk?

That's information that we can use further

down the examination line.

Following the walk, we'll see the horse in-hand at the trot.

The horse is trotted on that same straight line

of about 30 yards, with the lead rope held loosely,

so that the horse may use its head and neck if needed.

And we assess movement of the head and neck, and also

symmetry or lack of symmetry as the horse trots.

Following that straight line trot,

we'll do manipulations, which include flexion tests.

Flexion tests are used to help localize or narrow down

the anatomic side of the lameness.

For example, we flex the lower limb,

which includes the fetlock, pastern, and coffin joints,

to stress those areas of the body.

We hold flexion for a period of half a minute or so,

and then trot the horse off.

If the horse is showing lameness following that flexion,

that may indicate that some degree of soreness

is in that anatomic area.

We do these flexions of the lower limbs, all four.

We do the carpus, or knees.

We do the full hind limb flexion,

which stresses the hip, stifle, and hock.

And we can also stress just the stifle on a flexion test.

All that information is recorded,

as is our physical findings, and keep

track of any of the abnormalities that we find.

Following the flexions, we do hoof testers.

In horses without pads on their feet,

we like to determine whether or not there's

sensitivity in the feet.

The reason for that is that 90% of all front limb lamenesses

are found in the foot.

Further localization of the soreness in the horse,

if a lameness is evident, is based on nerve blocks.

Where we put local anesthetic in nerves

to desensitize a part of the leg.

If, for example, we do a nerve block

at the heel of the horse, which blocks out

a good portion of the foot, and the horse

goes from lame to sound, we know that the pain is happening down

in the foot.

In horses that have very subtle lameness,

we need to try to narrow down the site of lameness

in other ways.

One straightforward way is to saddle up the horse

and see how the horse moves in its normal tack.

The weight of the horse, going in circles or figure eights,

may show us lameness where working just in a straight line

will not.

Also, just taking the horse on a lunge line

and putting it in a circle will provide additional stresses

to the horse that aren't present in a straight line.

A high-tech means of determining sites of lameness--

that's a very objective measure of gait symmetry,

or lack of that--

is with a gate analysis system.

There are portable gait analysis systems

that have sensors that are attached to the horse.

And the horse can be worked under saddle, in hand,

or can be worked on the lunge line.

And the computer program makes an assessment,

based on data from those sensors,

and tells us whether or not a limb is lame, whether or not

it's an impact or push- off lameness,

and whether or not it's a severe lameness or a mild lameness.

We've recorded our lameness examination findings,

such as the degree of lameness, which

can be recorded as 0 being sound and five

being non-weight-bearing.

That's the AAEP lameness scale.

Or any other scale that your veterinarian

finds most helpful.

Then we record our abnormal physical findings,

such as thickenings or joint swellings,

reaction to hoof testers, and then

certainly the response to flexion tests and nerve blocks.

Once we have narrowed down the anatomic site of the lameness,

to make a specific diagnosis, we need to undertake imaging.

On-farm imaging may include digital x-rays

or digital ultrasound.

If those findings are negative, and we

have a significant lameness, your veterinarian

may recommend advanced imaging, such as a bone

scan, magnetic resonance imaging, or MRI,

or computed tomography, CT.

Again the whole goal is to make a specific diagnosis,

so we can provide a specific treatment

with a hoped-for positive outcome.

If you have any other questions regarding

lameness examinations, please check the SmartPak Horse Health

Library.

2018 Mustang GT Exhaust Rev & Interior + 50th Anniversary Shelby Super Snake at Carlisle - Hot Lap🔥 - Duration: 9:34.

Well, let's see what this damned thing sounds like.

Awesome.

Well, guys, it's that time of year again.

The Carlisle All-Ford Nationals is upon us.

We're going to be showing you the sights, the sounds, and of course the very cool Mustangs.

Now, behind that crowd somewhere is the 50th Anniversary of the Shelby Super Snake.

We'll be showing you more of that, in addition to the 2018 Mustang.

They have a couple of them here this year, so we actually get to hear this thing a little

bit.

So let's get to it.

Walking along, ran into a familiar face here at the Shelby American booth, the Terlingua

Mustang, of course.

I had the pleasure of driving this thing out in Las Vegas last year at the SEMA Show, and

then this thing.

I cannot stop looking and staring, and drooling, the 50th Anniversary of the Super Snake here

from the guys over at Shelby American, powered by the TVS blower here.

Essentially, what you're working with is a GT, but just beefed up.

A lot of Ford Performance goodies, the TVS blower, of course, with the option to step

up to the Kenne Bell if you'd like, if 600 isn't good enough for you, I guess.

The cool thing about this car is they just released their wide body version.

It's absolutely amazing.

I wish they had it here.

Unfortunately, they don't.

So we have to "settle" for the 50th Anniversary version of the Super Snake and all of its

glory.

[00:01:31] ♪ [music] ♪

Justin: One of the big things this year at the All-Ford Nationals here at Carlisle is

the 50th Anniversary of the Shelby GT500.

Matt is actually one of our buddies that works with us at americanmuscle.com.

Matt, this is pretty cool for you, because your car was chosen to kind of represent a

very important year for the GT500.

Yeah, exactly.

2007 is the first year it came back after like a 30-something year hiatus.

I'm honored to be part of this group.

Basic bolt-on and stuff.

Justin: But you had upper and lower pulleys, correct, off-road mid-pipe, things like that,

and the car makes pretty good power?

Matt: Yeah.

About 568 to the wheels.

Justin: One of the cool things, too, I thought about your car is it actually has a Watts

link on it.

You don't see those a lot with the solid rear-axle cars, especially the Shelbys.

So that's definitely going to help the handling quite a bit.

Matt: Exactly.

Justin: Pretty big honor to be commemorating the 50th of the GT500.

Matt: Yeah.

It sure is.

Justin: So a big highlight for me, personally, this year at the All-Ford Nationals at Carlisle

is running into this guy and his car, the "Honey Badger".

Josh, what's going on, man?

Josh: Hey, Justin. How's it going?

Justin: Doing well.

Tell us a little bit more about what's going on with this thing right now.

Josh: So it's a 2015 Mustang GT.

We've got a new setup on here.

It's the Armageddon Twin Turbo setup.

We've got the HREs on here, it's a new setup, the FF04s, got the new Stalker kit up, got

the front sweater here, the side scoops, the rear bumper...

Justin: The hood, everything. Look at you, man.Big pimpin'.

So we've got the new HREs.

These are new FlowForms, correct?

Josh: Yes.

Justin: These are next level.

Josh: So it's a 20x10 up front, a 20x11 in the back.

We've got a new finish on there.

It's called "Liquid Metal."

Basically, it starts off with a black base coat.

They apply that second coat on there, and that's where you get that sheen and that shimmer,

and that depth to the wheel.

Justin: They are sexy.

But let's talk more about this Armageddon kit, man.

Because I, myself, know and I'm sure a lot of these guys watching know, this isn't just

an off the shelf kit, per se.

I mean, tell us about your experience with it.

Tell us about maybe what you tried to make or what you are trying to make with this thing,

and also about that transmission setup, because I know you've got a new trans behind it.

Josh: Oh, yeah.

So we decided to beef it up a little bit.

We wanted to make a little bit more power, trying to get a consistent nine-second car.

We're still stock engine.

The base kit comes with 60-millimeter turbos.

This actually, these are 64s.

So we've got twin 64s on there.

It's their new Gen II Turbos over at Garrett.

It's got forward-facing headers from Kooks, Turbosmart wastegates.

It's got everything you want to throw top-shelf at it for a turbo setup.

The engineering on the kit is just flawless.

Justin: Top notch.

Yeah.

Josh: They did everything right.

The transmission is built by Ben Calimer.

It's a TR-6060.

We did that swap.

So we've got the McLeod clutch in there.

We've got the carbon fiber driveshaft.

We've got everything set up.

Ended up having to change the gears, like we were talking...

Justin: Yeah.

That's right.

Josh: 4:11s.

Justin: You've got to run the 4:11s in there, because of the taller first gear.

Right?

Josh: So everything should be set up for the quarter, and we're going to definitely get

after it.

We're getting this finished up.

Justin: I'm excited to see you try to get nines while still rowing gears.

for the very first time in the Orange Fury color.

Well, guess what?

Ford came correct this year, brought two 2018s, this one in the Race Red color, and let's

talk about it a little bit more.

Now, we had a couple of weeks to kind of sit on this thing a little bit, sleep on it, and

sorry, guys.

They still haven't changed that gloss black grille or those headlights.

Still not the biggest fan there, but I have to admit it looks a lot better in red.

I'm not really a big fan of that Orange Fury color.

Oh, hey, Oxford White GT350.

So let's move around the side here, guys, because there are some newer things on this

car that we didn't see on that Orange Fury car in New York.

First and foremost, the 19-inch aluminum wheels, my personal favorite out of the entire lineup

for the 2018 Mustang.

I think they look really sexy and they look better even in person.

But my favorite part about this car here at Carlisle, the Redline Package with the Recaros

here in the new 2018 GT Performance Pack car.

Now, with the previous S550, the Redline Package was just basically red stitching.

Not the case here.

You're getting red-faced Recaros -- I love them, I'm a big Recaro guy -- in addition

to that red stitching.

So again, the back is still awesome.

That hasn't changed.

But it is really cool to see this thing in a different color with some different options,

and rumor has it they also have that Orange Fury car here as well.

So let's go see if we can find that thing.

We were shut down on that one.

But we did hear one of our buddies from Ford Performance will start this thing up for us,

so we get to hear that new quad tip in action.

So we're going to take the victories where we can.

But I will say, the Orange Fury, out in the sun and even in the shade here, looks a lot

better than underneath the lights of the New York International Auto Show.

But let's see what this damned thing sounds like.

But as I've gotten older, now that I'm a dad,

I'm so grateful for that piece of advice

because I tell my kids the exact same thing.

See, our dads have an amazing opportunity

to have a great impact on our lives, so listen,

what your dad really wants, he doesn't want flowers,

I mean you get that for your mom on Mother's Day,

your dad doesn't really want a chainsaw

even though it would be kind of a cool gift for him.

What your dad really wants is he wants you

to be in a relationship with him.

What I've learned about my dad

is that he doesn't need all the stuff.

He just wants to know that his son cares about him.

So make sure you give your dad a shout.

What I want you to do is respond to this video

by tagging you dad on it, tagging the men in your life

who are a blessing to you.

Tag them and say, "I'm so grateful for you."

And don't forget on Father's Day,

not only do you have physical father,

but you have a Heavenly Father, God the Father,

who loves you and cares for you.

So connect with me, Danielfusco.com

or anywhere else on the internet.

God bless you, I'll see you soon.
