How long haven't you celebrated Father's Day for you dad?

About one or two years?

Since I have come to NZ.

I forgot…

But actually even you have forgotten, they won't remind you there's Father's Day's coming, right?

Never.

I think they expect something from us,

but they won't tell us.

What will be your dad's reaction if you do something for him?

He's a cold fish lol.

Would you send him your wishes for him before?

No…

I sent something I wrote to him.

How about when you were in China?

When I was little I would write something on a little piece of paper and secretly put that in their room.

You wouldn't think of celebrating this day for him-

because you are with him most of the time.

We will celebrate Mother's Day but not Father's Day.

For Mother's Day I can buy flowers for her but I have no idea what for dad on Father's Day..

Not really celebrate it before…

Before I came overseas I was a rebellious teenager especially my family has quite strict rules.

For Father's Day I might just buy a gift with my mom and give that to him that's all.

Are you a person that will say something emotional to you dad?

Yes I am.

I don't really express when I was little,

and my mom said I don't have puppy dog eyes lol.

But since I am growing up I talk more to my dad.

Is you dad the kind of strict parent?

Yes he is.

When I was in kinder if my I did something wrong,

my mom would be the role protecting me.

But when I went up to form 5,

I think they had a conversation and after that my mom wasn't protecting me anymore.

That made me feel lonely hah.

Since your dad always criticise when you have done something wrong, and at the time your mom wasn't by your side,

Have you ever hated them for some reasons?

To be honest I would say yes, when I was little.

Do you have anything to tell them but you never get to tell them?

I felt really sorry for them because of my immature behaviour before.

But I understand them now.

They don't wanna be too strict to us either,

but due to the situation they have no choice.

Umm sometimes I felt shame when I was out with my dad,

because sometime he might talk a little bit rude…

But we have to realise the difference between generations.

Do you feel guilty afterwards?

Of course, actually dad do everything just for us.

DCS World - A-10C Startup and Taxi Tutorial - Duration: 10:24.

Welcome. This is a tutorial on the A-10C.

Today, I will teach you how to takeoff and taxi.

First, lets take a look outside of our aircraft.

We are carrying rounds of GBU bombs, and missiles.

Let's go back inside of our aircraft.

BATTERY PWR [ON]/OFF

INVERTER [STBY]/OFF/TEST

OXYGEN SUPPLY [ON]/OFF

A white light will appear above the FLOW indicator. That means there is a flow of oxygen.

Hold down the OXY IND TEST to make sure there is oxygen moving to our mask.

(Don't hold it too long, I messed up here.)

Hold down the FUEL IND TEST button to ensure we have the correct amount in the fuselage and wings.

Test all of the lights to ensure warnings will pop up if ever needed.

Look around as you do so.

Test your fire detect air bleed test. It has its long name as a test in case your engines are on fire. Same for the APU.

Move the FLAPS switch to the MVR (Middle) position.

*OH GOD WHERE DID THE SUN COME FROM*

Ensure the ENG FUEL FLOW switchs are both up.

(My game is glitched so my HOTAS doesn't recognize it.)

Flick all BOOST PUMPS MAIN/WING to on.

APU [START]/OFF

MAKE SURE YOU PUSH DOWN EJECTOR STANDBY. SAFETY IS TOP ONE PRIORITY.

Turn your ANTI-SKID to on. Taxi lights are optional.

Both AC GENS [ON]/OFF

Watch your APU gauge. You should have a good start once its near 95.

(Don't do this until it gets to 95 on the APU gauge.)

There we go!

Pull your throttle quadrants up if you have a HOTAS. If this is not possible for you, do RALT+HOME, then RCTRL+HOME.

While we're over here, turn the COMM VHF to TD.

(Me trying to find the other knobs.)

*ZOOM INTENSIFIES*

Reach all the way over here and turn it to TD.

Flick this knob to MAIN. (I can't remember the name of these.)

Once you get a courtesy beeping, have APU GEN ON/[OFF]

(Trying to remember what to do next because its been a long time since flying the A-10C.)

After you do all of that, remember to pull the other throttle quadrant up. If you can't do that, do RCTRL+HOME.

Turn both EGI to [ON]/OFF

Turn on these 3 switches. Once again, I can't remember anything. This is why I love flying this. It's kind of like the Mirage, but theres no wine.

Turn both MFCD's to DAY, or ON.

Hit the ENT key on the HUD keyboard.

Ensure both engine turbines are spinning properly without delay.

As the alignment and the systems come into place, you may hear voice sounds. That is the magic of the A-10C.

Go over here and left-click this to go down, then hold right-click to bring the canopy down. If this does not work, just do LCTRL+C

With both engines running properly now, we can now turn APU to START/[OFF]

Follow what I do here so you can get to the main menu. Do not do anything from there.

Hit the LOAD ALL on either MFCD's.

Set up your countermeasures system. I put mine in AUTO. I will later explain how the CMS works for the A-10C.

On the left side of the MFCD are options to choose from. When you hit LOAD ALL, the green circles disappear. The upload is complete when they reappear.

Select TAD on your left MFCD to get a map of where you're going.

Select CDU on this MFCD to see any commands you put into the computer system.

Flick that third switch at the bottom fully up. This will show the HUD since we already loaded it up.

Flick all of your SAS switches carefully to ON. Do not hit the T/O trim button until all switches for SAS are up.

To reach the GCAS, we will need to advance our throttle a bit. It will be on the right. While we do this, be ready to hit the brakes by pushing down on the pedals, or holding W.

We are now ready to taxi to the runway. The mirrors are optional.

In order to get EAC working, hit the EGI button thats infront of our stick. Then, flick the EAC switch behind our throttle. It is located on the left side.

Make sure to uncage the artificial navball, as I was doing before.

Turn on nosewheel steering by hitting the pinky button behind, on the stick. I forgot the keybind for this. You might need to search it up in the controls.

Look around your plane, and make sure nothing is broken, and everything is functioning.

Slowly advance your throttle until you start moving. You will want to follow the dotted line's direction. It will lead you to the runway.

Use your rudder pedals, or keys Z and X to guide your way.

Make sure to stay around 30 knots while taxiing, or you might break the brakes, or the gear suspension.

(I went a bit too fast. Don't make this mistake, because she is strong.)

As you do this, make sure to monitor your speed levels.

As you approach the turn, make sure to slow down by tapping the brakes, or W.

Align yourself with the runway.

(Updated) Format a USB as Universal Disk Format (UDF) and FAT32 on a Mac - Duration: 5:15.

I'll show you how to download and use the UDF converter :D

Go to tomitheboss, then find the download link.

The old version is made from python; It's a bit more flexible but more difficult to use. (New one is quite ui friendly)

Skip ad is at the top right; click continue in the middle if you have an adblocker like me

I plugged my USB in

Right now it's MAC OS Journaled

For that you need to go to system preferences (see the vid and change it in Security>Allow from unidentified developers)

The reason it popped out for me is because I downloaded it; but I'm the one who made that file

Here; just allow from anywhere

Please please please pick the correct disk name;

Double check that the details shown there is the same as the disk you want to format

You may format or not; the recommendation is to format. I am not going to since the disk has been formatted already before

It takes some time to format; about 15 mins for an 8GB disk

Click format UDF (format FAT is later in the vid)

Wait a bit...

Done! Now if you check (Command + I) it's now a UDF disk, compatible will almost all OSes without the 4GB per file FAT limit

Now to format back to FAT32 (just in case)

Just click format FAT here;

And now it's back to FAT32. Makes me wonder why you'd want FAT32 when UDF is much better :D
