I'm here with another tip on how you can look great
lose weight get healthy and love life so once again this is Pamela Pedrick I'm a
health and nutrition health and wellness coach nutrition consultant for weight
loss and a registered nurse. how is everyone doing today hope everyone had a
fabulous weekend hope you used your sunscreen
I used my sunscreen but apparently I missed a little bit my hairline as you
can see but I got some sunburn right at my hairline and in my part yesterday
where I was swimming that didn't have too much of a shade so I was really in
the Sun and I forgot to wear my hat. so I burn easily that's what happens when you
have the fair skin right. I don't tan at all I just burn and then it peels right.
Drop a 1 in the comment section if that's you you don't tan you just burn so you
got to have a sunscreen on right alright so say I'm going to give you another tip
now this tip is something that you must do to not only lose weight but for your
overall health and wellness as well and it will make you look great as well. so
drop a 2 in the comment section if you you know notice either when you were
pregnant at one point or you know friends or family pregnant and all of a
sudden you see that their skins glowing and you're like all you just have that
pregnant glow to you just look so good. what's going on yeah there's those
pregnancy hormones but guess what she's probably taking prenatal vitamins.
she's taking supplements right because what's the first thing the doctor says
that first checkup start your prenatal vitamins because we want to make sure
that everything's going well. you're healthy the baby's healthy. today's day
and age we have got the supplement we need to take good vitamins because our
soil is so nutritionally depleted that we're not getting the nutritional
benefits from our food that we used to get hundreds of years ago because we
keep farming the soil or it's losing the nutrients so we need to supplement Bar
None. the main way of getting healthy is to give our body the nutrition
needs our foods are also nutritionally depleted because we seem to be buying
more process remember that there's level of foods that are processed also to
process it's just a different level of being processed the frozen foodsare more
processed than our raw food. Our raw food, yes it is processed because it needs to be
processed in order to get it from the garden to our a table so we need to
supplement. now today I share with you how to find a good vitamin if you're not
already taking vitamins. this is a way to help you find that good vitamin because
I myself I wasn't too savvy about this and so I educated myself and you don't
really need to buy real expensive vitamins all that you can although I got
to tell you you you get what you pay for. to really get the the good vitamins are
out there you do need to put it as an expense down because you're going to get
more health benefits from it but start where you are. Im always about being
practical start where your are so one of the things I always talk about is you
gotta read your labels you got to be labeled savvy. you want a good
multivitamin okay and you might need to even supplement more even with that but
to get started you have got to get a multivitamin. you have to take it
consistently. consistency is key because you won't feel the nutritional benefits
of it and you won't look that look great right yours your skin's gonna start to
look better because your skin is going to get the nutrition that it needs so
first off is you're going to look at your ingredient label okay and the most
important thing are the what's called other ingredients or inactive
ingredients and that's usually toward the bottom of your ingredient label here
so what do you want that to be is you want that one to be as short as
possible so if you're looking at two different brands for instance and they
all have the same vitamins and at the same percentage of vitamins the same
milligrams, micrograms, international units. each vitamin has a different but
they call their amounts it's either to be milligrams, micrograms, international
unit or something equivalent to that. so say it all has the same you have two in
your hand you want to buy the one that has the shortest on in active
ingredients. and those inactive ingredients are going to be for instance
if it's on a capsule form it's going to let the ingredients of that capsule what
makes that capsule so to speak and that's okay we
want that cuz you know is it is an agreed as part of your appointment but
if this starts to have other things in there like what the heck is that chances
are you don't want to buy it okay now there are some vitamins that
have their own blend on ionic alfalfa things like that and that's actually
really good cuz a now it is your Funyun especially
your really good vitamins like I said there are that's going to be your more
expensive one and nine times out of ten it's going to be once you're not going
to see at your typical grocery store or your local food market it's going to be
at your whole food store your healthy store or even purchasing it online
theirs are going to be your better choices but like I said start where
you're at because what happens is they have they can have their own little
different for party brands and des is back from the era that admitted medicine
your Chinese medicine your herbs I mean goodness it's been 2,000 years or more
that all these herbs and the what's called adaptogens has been used Marivic
in chinese medicine and they're just as good today as they were 2,000 years ago
they have so many more health benefits to it so sometimes you'll see that as
well but like I said start where you are you want to get other ingredients or
inactive ingredients list as short as possible if you have a choice between
two different vitamins you can go to Walmart go to your public your local
grocery store just to get started on something because I'm telling you have
got the supplement usain age you're not going to get all of your nutrition that
you need from eating your whole foods you might hear people say all watch us
eat my faul is and I'll just see it clean and you've got all your
nutritional benefits in your foods you do but not all of them because our soil
is nutritionally depleted it doesn't have all the elements that it used to
have hundreds of years ago so art soon as a result aren't going to have all the
nutrition that are qualities need once again it's all about giving our bodies
nutrition that it needs our bodies will naturally slim down once it's working to
optimal capacity which is a result of the foods that we eat so we have to
supplement I gotta admit I'm not too consistent with taking my vitamins but I
know I just feel so much better when I do taking it on a consistent basis you
are a good multivitamin and as well as vitamin d3 and I've mention
this way other broadcast vitamin d3 I take at least five thousand if not ten
thousand international units you'll see over the counter it will have like two
thousand three thousand five thousand there's different international units
per pill and you just look at it I go higher end because a lot of us are
vitamin D deficient you can get that tested get a blood test a lot of us are
I just know that I feel so much better when I take you know I have not had a
cold in like two years AB respiratory infection have not had one in a few
years and research shows that it is good for armed colds upper respiratory
infections as well as the flu it will decrease but if you do get the flu start
taking your vitamin D3 the research shows that you won't have it as long as
you would have if you do not have you not taken that vitamin D3 vitamin C is
also very important as well it will help prevent and also you want to continue
taking it when you have that cold or the flu so our vitamins are minerals are so
important it helps our bodies and our immune systems to work to optimal
capacity so that it will prevent us from getting those illnesses and diseases and
also when we do have them we happen to get sick
it'll help our immune system to work to fight off those illnesses and the
diseases and if we need to take medication for it will help our
medication to work better as well so just a tip for you your vitamins will
help you to feel great to look great have more energy if you've been one that
you just feel mana just so tired all the time I don't know what's going on your
vitamin B my levels might be low you might want to get that checked out with
a blood test my mom just recently found not too long ago that she is one that
she does not absorb vitamin D so she has to get the shots instead of take it in a
platform so I'm always about once again go check with your doctor get some blood
work done especially hope you haven't had it done recently like in the past
year just to make sure that all of your blood work is looking good and that you
don't have critical deficiencies that you would need to get a shot for for
instance the vitamin D injections that some people do need because our bodies
don't naturally absorb it as well for it to work so just a quick tip for you you
got a supplement get a good vitamin start where you're at just go to your
local grocery store get one you want one that has a short other ingredients
inactive agrees list take it consistently take it every day and you
will start to see that you might be feeling better more energetic and skin
