Hey, everyone, this is Mohit Devda here and today I am going to compare the recently launched
Nokia 3 and the Xiaomi Redmi 4 and at the end of this video, I will be telling you which
smartphone will suit you and why.
So stay tuned for that and let's get started.
As you probably know, Nokia 3 is the first smartphone by Nokia to be launched in India
and it is going to compete with the smartphones in the 10k budget segment.
So, let's start this video by comparing Design & Build Quality of both the smartphones.
Nokia is trying to continue its legacy by
providing a premium design and very impressive build quality which can be seen in all it's
three smartphones including Nokia 3.
Whereas the Xiaomi Redmi 4 has a good build quality but when compared to Nokia 3, I think
Nokia 3 is better in that.
Also, Xiaomi has a metal back while Nokia 3 has a plastic back with the metal frame
but even then also Nokia 3 looks more premium than the Xiaomi Redmi 4.
So, Nokia 3 is a winner for this round.
Now, let's talk about the display of both the devices.
Both the devices offer a 5-inch 720p display
with a 2.5D curved glass.
But Nokia 3 has a Polarized display which is more clear according to Nokia.
Also, you get Gorilla glass protection with Nokia 3 but not with Xiaomi Redmi 4.
So, again Nokia 3 is a winner.
But now let's have a look at the specs of both the devices,
the area where Xiaomi is a very tough competitor.
Nokia 3 comes with the Mediatek 6737 processor
which is a Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz while Xiaomi Redmi 4 comes with the
Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 octa-core processor clocked at 1.4 GHz.
Nokia 3 comes with the combination of 2 GB RAM and 16 GB Internal Storage while the Redmi
4 has 3 variants in which you get 2 GB, 3 GB and 4 GB of RAM with 16, 32 and 64 GB of
Internal Storage respectively.
Nokia 3 comes with the latest version of Pure Stock Android i.e.
Android 7.0 Nougat with support for Google Assistant while in Redmi 4, you get Android
6.0 Marshmallow with MIUI 8 on top of that.
Both the smartphones have dual sim card support but Nokia 3 has a dedicated slot for SD card
while Redmi 4 has a hybrid sim card slot so you can either use two sim cards or a single
sim card with a MicroSD card.
Now talking about the camera and battery life, Nokia 3 has an 8 Megapixel Rear camera as
well as an 8-megapixel front camera.
While, in redmi 4, you get a 13-megapixel rear camera with a 5 MP front facing camera.
Nokia 3 has a 2630 mAh battery while redmi 4 has a huge 4100 mAh battery and with these
specs, it should last very long.
So, this was all about the specs and clearly, Redmi 4 is a winner here.
Now, let's have a look at some Additional features of both the smartphones.
First talking about Nokia 3, it comes with
stock android with almost no bloatware.
You also get USB OTG support, NFC support
and the earphones come bundled with Nokia 3.
Now moving on to Redmi 4, it does not have all these features but it does have a security
feature which is rare at this price.
It has a fingerprint scanner at the back of the device which Nokia should have provided
with the Nokia 3.
Also, Redmi 4 comes with an Infrared Sensor which can be used to control your home accessories
with their pre-installed Remote app.
Nokia 3 is available for 9500 INR at the offline
stores and not on any online shopping site while Redmi 4 is an Amazon exclusive smartphone
and it starts with the price of 7000 INR.
I have provided the direct link for Xiaomi Redmi 4 in the description below.
So, now it's time to know which smartphone you should choose and why.
So, if we summarize this then overall, Redmi 4
is a better choice for the price it is available.
But you should always choose the Smartphone according to your needs.
So, at this budget, If you want a smartphone with great design & build quality, stock Android
experience with almost no bloatware, a good front camera, and Nokia's reliability factor
then you should go for Nokia 3.
But if you want a smartphone with a Fingerprint Scanner, Great Battery Life, Great Specs and
Good Rear Camera then you should go for Xiaomi Redmi 4.
So that's it for this video.
