I need a new name to start over when I'm done

with the crashing and burning and shouting currently going on

I need a new name to hide away from all the lies

cause every single one of them is a truth i must deny

C (R) D(R) Bm (RI) C(R)? D(II) Bm(R) Add 2?

Chorus

I want a new place somewhere away from all this mess

i want to float into the vacuum and the darkness to confess

And when you'll call me the sequence of numbers won't make a sense,

cause the person they are coupled to only lives in the past tense

Verse 2

I need some new clothes something I'd never wore before

you can keep all of my vintage rugs I don't need them anymore

You're reaching out to me trying to navigate the storm,

But we know that it's too late for that All the bridges have been burned

Chorus

I want a new place somewhere away from all this mess

i want to float into the vacuum and the of darkness to confess

And when you'll call me the sequence of numbers won't make a sense,

cause the person they are coupled to only lives in the past tense

Bridge

I was right And you know it

There's no chance to bring it back

I was right And you know it

There's no chance to bring it back

Am Em B C

Chorus (still chords)

And when you'll call me the sequence of numbers won't make a sense,

cause the person they are coupled to only lives in the past tense

I need a new name to hide away from all the lies

cause every single one of them is a truth i must deny

The Original DuckTales Is Now On iTunes! | Secret Screening - Duration: 6:00.

For those who missed the news, quietly and with zero fanfare Disney has released the

entire original series of DuckTales on iTunes!

There's some good news and bad news attached with this story, but don't worry.

I'll guide you through it.

That's right folks, for the first time ever you can now own all 100 episodes of the original

series of DuckTales.

This includes the five part pilot, all five parts of Time Is Money, all five parts of

Super DuckTales, and both parts of The Golden Goose.

Most importantly it also includes the remaining episodes Disney never bothered to release

on DVD in often teased but never delivered fourth box set.

This means you can finally purchase some of the best episodes of the series!

Like Allowance Day, Dough Ray Me, My Mother The Psychic, Beaglemania, and The Masked Mallard.

Many of which haven't been aired in years.

However, there is some bad news.

To make these old episodes more palatable to impulse buy, they've cleaved the series

into 6 volumes, each priced at 14.99.

Considering each volume has 16 episodes, save for the last two that have 18 and 17 respectively

in order to keep their multi-part episode arcs in the same volume, you're getting

some pretty decent value per episode.

Spread over the whole series, you get 100 episodes for 89.94 plus tax.

At roughly 89 cents per episode, it seems like a bargain.

Especially when they have the gall to charge 1.99 per episode outside of the volume bundle.

But is it a bargain?

Unfortunately, not really.

You see right now, you can get volumes 1 through 3 of the DuckTales DVD box sets for roughly

9 dollars each on Amazon.

Links in the description below.

Since the newly released final season episodes are spread across Volumes 5 and 6 on iTunes,

that means you can still pick up all 100 episodes for under 60 dollars even after the temporary

sale is over!

Even factoring in that you're rebuying 10 episodes - the Time Is Money and Super DuckTales

story arcs - you're still saving 30 bucks over the full iTunes price.

Now I know what you're saying: "But Doug!

DVDs are so two thousands!

The first three box sets are in cruddy SD!!

Why would I buy those?!"

Well, here's the rest of the bad news.

All of these episodes are in SD.

Seriously!

All of the footage I've been showing you has been from the last two volumes offered

on iTunes!

In addition to being SD, they look like really dingy and dirty digital transfers from a fan's

VHS collection.

Look.

I know HD remasterings cost a lot of money.

Especially when they have around 50 hours worth of content to painstakingly go through

frame by frame.

But if they had taken the time to clean these transfers up or at least make them look a

little better than the episodes they released on DVD, then I would have gladly shelled out

full price for easy digital downloads of the whole series.

But in it's current state, I strongly recommend you invest in the DVDs if you haven't already.

They're just going to get cheaper from here on out, and as a cool bonus, you get a nice

looking box to display on your shelf.

Additionally, there are a few other Disney Afternoon titles that snuck into iTunes.

You can now purchase the whole series of Chip 'n Dale's Rescue Rangers, TaleSpin, Goof

Troop, and Gargoyles.

I was surprised to find out that both Gummi Bears and Darkwing Duck are not available.

Perhaps they have issues with their digital distribution rights?

I don't know.

However they do have DVD sets out that basically cover those entire series.

You can of course find links to everything in the description below.

Also, what do you think?

Will you be buying these classic episodes digitally on iTunes?

Will you hold out for a HD remastered version of DuckTales, or do you not mind that they're

SD?

Will Disney ever get around to releasing shorter less beloved Disney Afternoon shows like Bonkers,

Quack Pack, or The Shnookums and Meat Funny Cartoon Show?

Sound off in the comments below.

Thanks for watching, and until next time, be sure to share, like, and subscribe.

Because you'll always have a ticket for my next Secret Screening

Hey fans, followers, and new viewers alike!

In an attempt to release more videos regularly, I've decided to start making short form

videos that highlight some of my favorite books, games, TV shows, movies, places, and

experiences - as well as a place where I can signal boost breaking media news (like this

DuckTales iTunes discovery) without the need of setting up my whole studio, present to

a camera, and lose hours upon hours to editing.

Secret Screening isn't going anywhere, so don't panic.

I'm still going to present to a camera, and provide the same high quality analysis

you've come to expect.

But using this format - which I toyed around with when I tried to cover Riverdale - frees

me up to dedicate the time I need to research and make the longer format Secret Screening

episodes, while still having the time to share cool stuff multiple times per week.

So thank you for checking out this test drive of my new format!

If you have a moment, please sound off in the comments below and let me know what you

think.

And stay tuned - I've got a lot of great videos coming up soon!

25 Harry Potter Questions for #HarryPotter20 | @laurenfairwx - Duration: 11:59.

Over on my Instagram account, I got a request to do the Harry Potter tag! I

thought that I'd already answered pretty much every question you possibly could

about Harry Potter on my youtube channel. But, just in case, I looked up the

questions and, what do you know! I was wrong. And if you know me, you know I am

always up for talking about Harry Potter. If you are too, give me a thumbs up! So

there are a few different sets of Harry Potter tag questions out there, so I

decided to take my favorites from all of them and add a few of my own. I'll put

them in the video description below in case you'd like to read them or answer

them yourself! And there will be some mild spoilers for the books, the movies,

and one question about cursed child if you're still avoiding those. Okay! Let's

jump into it. Favorite book? I usually say Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, but

I also really love Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I'm interested in

rereading them so that I can see if that still holds up as my favorite. Books or

movies? Is this even a question? Books! Favorite quote? "Anything is

possible if you've got enough nerve." Ginny Weasley. Favorite female character?

Luna Lovegood, for sure. I love Luna. She's amazing. Favorite male

character? Neville Longbottom. Are there any non-binary characters? Just

statistically, I'd be surprised if there weren't any non-binary characters in the

books. I would personally love to hear more about this. I've heard some

interesting fan theories, I'm sure there's some awesome fan fiction out

there that covers this whole thing. Maybe it'll be like a Dumbledore situation

where JK Rowling will bless us with some information after the fact, but not

actually include any LGBT representation in the books themselves. We'll see!

Favorite Weasley? Got to go with Fred. Favorite villain? I think I'm going to

say Snape. Even knowing everything that we know about him, I would still consider

him to be a villain, given that he antagonized all of the main characters. I

did a whole video about him if you want to hear me ramble about Snape some more.

Favorite professor? Ah man, I love Minerva McGonagall. That woman is freaking

awesome. Is there a character that you felt differently about in the movies?

Ginny was such a badass in the books and I wish they'd included just a little

tiny bit of that in the movies. I have no idea why you would take a character

like that who's so full of fire and energy and just turn her into... a prop? Is

that, I mean, she kind of is! I also prefer Harry and his sass in the books. If you

take the scene from the movies where Harry takes the felix felicis and goes

off and has an amazing day, the level of snark and sass is kind of what I saw in

Harry in the books the whole time. He is so sarcastic and funny and they didn't

really carry that through to the movies for whatever reason. Is there a movie

that you prefer to the book? Um, no... no no. Can't say that there is. Is there any

aspect of the books that you'd want to change? I definitely think that the Harry

Potter series is lacking in representation. Knowing what an impact

this series and its characters had on me growing up, I want that for more people. I

want people to be able to see themselves represented in a series like this. Part

of the books that made you cry? Basically the whole second half of Harry

Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The deaths were pretty rough. Which house

would you be in? For me, it's always been Hufflepuff, since I read the books when

I was a kid, up until the Pottermore quiz, which, I did get Hufflepuff, which is

great. It's not that I don't fit into any of the other houses, it's just that all

of the things that are most important to me are also important to Hufflepuff. I am

wearing my badger shirt today, gotta represent. And I really don't care if you

don't like Hufflepuff. If you don't think that being hard-working and determined

and valuing friendship are important things, that reflects more on you than it

does on me! Which class would be your favorite? I think I've been really into

care of magical creatures! I've always loved animals and magical creatures just

fascinate me and I would love to take a class all about them, which is another

reason why I've been so excited for the Fantastic Beasts series to be a thing and

I really enjoyed the magical creature element of that movie. Which spell do you

think would be the most useful? Hands-down, I've got to say apparating

would be amazing. I travel a lot and I like to travel, but there are a lot of

places that I would like to be and not enough time to get there. I'd love to go

visit my family more often, but they're too far away. I'd love to go to as many

different nerd conferences as I could but it's just

impossible. If I could just apparate, it would make my life so much easier.

What would your Patronus be? I always said when I had to guess, that my

Patronus would be a manatee because I've always loved them and I think they're

just amazing, gentle, beautiful creatures. I also think it would be kind of funny like

doing a spell, like this little person, and having the giant like sea cow

come out of the wand! That would be pretty cool, I think. but I took the

Patronus quiz on Pottermore and I got an aardvark! And I really like that! So I

think I'm going to stick with an aardvark! I feel like that's my

personality, I think it's freaking weird and I love it. Which character would you

instantly become friends with? Probably Luna because when I was in school,

everybody thought I was weird and so I kind of hung out with all the other

weird kids and so I think I would gravitate towards Luna for sure. Why are

questions like this so popular and why do you think there's such a tendency to

imagine yourself inside these books? This is another question that I added to the

list and I'm going to answer it with a story. When I was on tour a long time ago,

I was at a library in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. And after the show, the

library actually has their own podcast and they wanted to interview us for it.

And the people hosting the podcast were the librarian who was super awesome and

hosted tons of shows for us over the years, and then one of her teen interns

who was there. And they asked us why Harry Potter is such a big deal and why

so many people love it so much. And my answer was that the characters are so

relatable that you feel like you know them and a lot of us grew up with these

characters, we grew up alongside them, we got to see them as kids and saw them all

the way through their teenage years up until the point where they're 17. And so

for me, that was a really powerful thing. I wanted to know what was going to

happen to them. I felt like they were friends of mine that got me through a

lot of really rough times. I feel like everyone knows a kid like Neville or

knows someone like Hermione and I really do think that that's the reason why

people see themselves in this universe. And then the teen intern, who was a

little bit of a bully and not really very nice to us, basically reminded me

that these are made up children's stories and there might be something

wrong with me if I take them this seriously and that these characters are

not real people. In case you needed clarification, I am more than aware of that fact.

I just stopped talking during the podcast at that point and after we left,

I had kind of been turning this around in my mind a lot and I realized the

perfect comeback would have been just to turn to her and say "Okay, Malfoy." cause

really, we all know somebody like Draco Malfoy - that's why the things he did hurt

so much to read! Have you played any of the video games? Yeah! I played a bunch of

them. I had a Gamecube so I played like the first, the second, and the third I

believe? By far my favorite part of the video games was running around the

castle and doing spells. I felt like they were a little bit unbalanced, like some

of the earlier challenges were unnecessarily difficult and then the

later like, major bosses were really easy. So I definitely got stuck a lot and it

was a little bit frustrating as a game. But if they made a game where I could

just run around Hogwarts, I would be so happy. Were you happy with the ending?

Yeah! Honestly, I was kind of surprised at how happy I was at the ending. Going into

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, I felt like there were so many open-ended

questions, that there was no way she's going to answer them all and honestly, I

think she did a pretty good job! It tied all together, I didn't see very

many of the twists coming, some of them I did, but it was still fulfilling for me

to read the ending of the story. I feel like it really reflects on the fact that

JK Rowling had a plan going into it and she knew how it was going to end. When

you go back and you reread it, you see little clues she left and it's really

clear that she didn't just make up the ending near the end. She had a plan of

where it was going to head and I think that that made it a lot more effective.

What did you think of Cursed Child? I have not seen the play, but I read the

script and I'm kind of wishing that I hadn't. Now that I know that it's coming

to Broadway and I'm hoping that I can get tickets, I'm really excited to go see

it played out, but it really, I feel like it was not intended to be enjoyed as a

script that you read. It needed to really be played out in front of you. I

feel like the play makes more sense as a play than it does as a book. But I really

liked getting to see Harry's development as a father. Obviously, he grew up without

a father and seeing the effects of all of the events that played out in the

original series was very interesting to me. So I

really really hope that I can get to go see the play and see it as it was

intended to be seen. What about Ilvermorny? I've been

thinking about working on a video about what happens when you grow up and the

things you love start to let you down. But with that said, I've been pretty

disappointed with the information we've received so far regarding Ilvermorny.

I don't know if that's something I want to get into today, but it's the reason

why I don't identify with a house and it's a reason why I haven't wanted to

make any Ilvermorny related crafts. I feel like we're going to hear more

about it in the later Fantastic Beasts movies because some of the characters

actually attended Ilvermorny. So maybe I'll change my mind later, but for now,

I'm just kind of pretending it doesn't exist. Favorite form of fan creation?

Oh man. I have to say Wizard Rock; I can't not say Wizard Rock for this answer.

Music based on the Harry Potter series has absolutely changed my life. The community

around it, the opportunities it's given me, the people I've met because of wizard

rock, it's such a huge part of my life and I love it.

It covers all genres, it's written by fans, there's a very DIY aspect of it.

Most people just record it themselves without any kind of representation or

record labels. When people are curious, I usually recommend that they go to a

concert because that is really how you find out what Wizard Rock is all about.

You get to hear the music, first of all, hear it performed live

because I feel like that's the best way to experience wizard rock, but there is

an energy around the community that is impossible to describe and the best part

about the whole thing. It's so accepting and warm and creative and beautiful and

I can't recommend it highly enough. Go to a wizard rock concert, if you can, at some

point in your life. How much does Harry Potter mean to you? Harry Potter means

everything to me. It's changed my life for the better, It's the reason why I met my

husband, it's given me the ability to do what I love for a living. It gives me a

way to connect with people; I feel like my entire generation has this thing in

common and it's amazing to me that I can make a video about Harry Potter and post

it on the internet and people find it and they engage with it and they

relate to it. How incredible is that? For more on this one, I started the Harry

Potter impact tag and I have a video where I answer a bunch of questions

about how Harry Potter has changed my life. Okay, so as it turns out, there is

basically a never ending list of questions you can ask Harry Potter fans!

If there are any questions that I didn't answer or you'd like me to elaborate

further, leave them in the comments below and maybe I'll make another video like

this in the future! And if you haven't already, definitely subscribe to my

channel if you've gotten this far. Because I make tons of Harry Potter

related videos and DIY tutorials inspired by the books, and I think you'll

like them. Plus we always chat a ton in the comments when the video is over and it's

always fun to make friends who like the same things you do. Thanks so much for

watching and I'll see you soon!

Assessing Articulation and Phonology Skills of Bilingual Children - Duration: 21:41.

Hi Guys

My name is Barbara Fernandes

I am a bilingual speech and language pathologist

and today I want to talk to my fellow bilingual SLP

on assessing articulation

and phonology

For the majority of my professional career

I spent most of the time assessing articulation and language of bilingual students

I remember coming in and spending time with those outdated paper materials

to assess articulation and also language

The children really didn't like those images. They were boring paper materials.

Today kids are constantly exposed to technology and they expect so much more to keep them engaged in the assessment.

The ipad comes in as an amazing tool to really keep the students engaged.

Now... getting them engaged and actually having the tool to perform the assessment are two completely

different things.

Fallout 4 Mod Highlight #6 | CHESTNUT LODGE!! - Duration: 5:18.

are you tired of aimlessly rolling the weight searching for more junk to add to

your never-ending collection maybe you've completed the main questline you

found Shawn the Commonwealth is either safe from the Institute or under your

control maybe you're adventuring days are over

and you want to settle down or you just want to break from the super mutants

that might violently you know really rip you to shreds well this week I have a

mod that will cater to all of your needs welcome to the chestnut lodge player

home by Eleonora a little beautifully designed home situated in the calm and

tranquil chestnut hillock reservoir the house is a stone's throw from Diamond

City perfect for all your supplies and clothes two volt 81/4 if you ever get

lonely Eleonora is no new reads modding they

have created a whole Bower full of mods only settlement and player home mods but

any of you who love fallout 4 mods will know who they are and as usual they

never fail to impress the level of detail that has been put into this mod

is really incredible I can't imagine how long this has taken just to decorate the

place looks lived in it has cluttered bookshelves things that are purposely

messy and cutlery on the table everything has a logic to it and has

been placed for a reason you can look at parts of the home and really get an

understanding of what the model author or previous owner was thinking at the

time and Eleonora always goes that bit further by adding tons of custom posters

furniture and general clutter you're always noticing something new which I

think's brilliant you get excited just walking around and looking at the stuff

in this home I also really enjoyed the small and cramped aspect of this home I

personally don't like the giant mansion homes or castles a little log cabin a

getaway house feels more personal and realistic like you yourself couldn't

build it it's also a nice design challenge when you're limited for space

so not only do we have all this custom clutter there's also a number of

features that enable you to have all you need to survive in the Commonwealth so

we have a mirror that lets you change your appearance however I couldn't get

this to work for some reason workbenches that are all linked together and allow

you to build like any other settlement the standard armored weapon cam and

cutting stations a functional terminal bobblehead shelf a nuclear Cola display

shelf that works with the DLC items armored axe that can be changed to male

or female with a press of a button however the one thing to note about this

and the mud or third is put it in red caps on the mod page for the love of all

that is holy do not swap the mannequins if they are wearing anything you will

lose all the items I repeat do not swap the mannequins unless they're absolutely

empty Abed that gives a well-rested bonus or

lovers embrace a water source for survival and uniquely named storage you

can even change the radios from DC radio to the Institute with another button or

even change the texture patterns upstairs for something a bit more plain

if you prefer now that was just the main house there's also a basement that can

be accessed from the outside so unlike the house the basement has

been left empty for your convenience and this is where the mod author recommends

you to build things for your companions friends which is great or build whatever

you like so there are a few issues which Eleonora has kindly pointed out but

there's nothing major so first off the supply lines and sending a companion to

this home doesn't work unfortunately and there is a quest that has been settled

that doesn't work and hasn't been added in yet

however if anyone has the expertise to fix these issues the mod author has

requested for someone to help if possible there's also a third person

glitch you may come across when exiting the mirror however all you need to do is

equip a gun to fix it in regards to compatibility if any mod makes changes

to the chestnut to silica reservoir obviously some of these may cause issues

also for those of you who don't have the DLC good news that is a non DLC version

in the works but it's not yep one final thing the house is fully

now smashed however the mod author says the navmesh isn't perfect outside the

navmesh it just means NPCs and companions can walk around so like I say

there are a few minor issues at the moment to put nothing that I think

breaks the mod the mod is easy peasy to install as well just download the only

file that is there on the mod page download with manager or manually

double-click in Nexus mod manager or extract it to your data product overall

I think this is a fantastic mod as always Eleonora goes the extra mile to

make their mods unique and different I can't wait to get to the end of my

playthrough and get my hands on this great home put my feet up and relax

anyway guys I hope you enjoyed this video we're obviously not doing an

adventure today is it's to play a home but other than that I'd really

appreciate a like or comment as it does help follow me on twitter at redhead

gamers succeed or like me on Facebook and I shall see you next time okay

What If Someone Refuses To Give Me A Referral? - Duration: 3:26.

- Hello, and welcome to another episode of Ask Cheeky.

I'm Isaiah Hankel with Cheeky Scientist.

And today's question comes from Adele Simone.

"Do you guys ever post anything on general troubleshooting

"for your job search like what do I do

"when somebody denies me for a referral?"

Good question. So what happens if you're networking,

and you find a shared connection,

you have a direct connection

that has a connection to somebody else?

Or, you meet somebody at a networking event,

and their connected to a Hiring Manager.

You're asking for an introduction from somebody.

You're ask for a referral. They say no. What do you do?

Three things you wanna look at here.

Number one. Look at your approach.

Is your approach incorrect?

Is it the first time that you've met them,

and you're asking them for something already?

You're asking them for a referral?

Have you not built up the relationship enough?

Have you failed to add value first,

and now you're asking for something too quickly?

If that's the case, then back off a little bit.

Add value over the next few weeks,

and then you can start asking

for referrals from this person.

If you need the referral before that,

then you can shorten it down to adding value

over the next few days, a couple of times.

Then come back to them.

But if the relationship isn't to that point,

it's gonna be hard to get a referral.

This is why networking ahead of time,

adding value ahead of time, is so important.

Second, if they deny you for a referral,

make sure that you're looking at your script.

How you're asking for the referral.

So if the relationship is in good standing,

you've been adding value,

maybe the way you asked for it was too direct,

or not a way that they felt comfortable with.

Maybe, you asked them for the email address

of the Hiring Manager.

Maybe, you asked for the phone number.

Maybe, you came on too aggressive.

Try a different approach. Change your angle.

Change your script.

Write an email back saying, "I completely understand.

"In this case, would it be okay for you to pass

"on my resume to the Hiring Manager?"

So again, going back to the example. Maybe, they said,

"Well, I don't feel comfortable giving out an email address

"for the Hiring Manager. I can't help you."

Say, "No worries at all. I really appreciate

"your time and effort. By the way, would you be willing

"to pass my resume along onto the Hiring Manager yourself?"

At this point, they're very likely to say,

"Yeah, no big deal. Sure."

So try changing your script.

Try changing the angle of your approach.

So make sure the relationship's there.

Make sure you have the right approach,

the right networking script.

And then, finally, if they still won't do it,

if they're just not comfortable giving you a referral,

then move on to the next person.

Don't get stuck on that person.

Don't obsess over the fact that it's a failure.

They won't help you. Don't be upset by it.

Let all of that go. Move forward.

It's called the power of next. Move onto the next person.

This is why you wanna keep building up your network.

Find out who that person's shared connections are

on LinkedIn, other people that work at the company,

and then connect with them.

And then ask one of those people for a referral.

Cause some people they don't care as much

as others about a referral.

They might meet you.

They're a good judge of character.

They feel a sense of rapport.

They'll give you a referral right away.

Other people are a little bit more standoffish.

They might not feel like they know you as well.

It's an art in a sense. There's a lot of variety here.

So don't be afraid to move on to the next person.

That takes us to the end of this episode.

Until next time, remember your value as a Ph.D.

And start thinking and acting

like a successful industry professional.
