Why the Mass Produced GTS V2 M Excites Me. | Weekly Cubing Topicals - Duration: 2:53.

The mass-produced Weilong GTS V2 excites me and this is why.

Hey YouTube it's me Spotty!

Welcome to another Weekly Cubing Topicals.

So magnetic puzzles have been popular for a couple months now thanks to Chris Tran and

the work he does to implement or popularise different ideas into cubing.

While some people don't really like the idea of magnets more do so magnets have really

been taking off within the community and they've made their way into puzzles both big and small.

The concept when first released was exciting and people who could get their hands on a

cube that was pre magnetised via different stores did and people who couldn't find

the money to do that might have had a go making one themselves.

However, there were a group of people who didn't want to risk messing up the process

by going DIY but also didn't have the $50 or so dollars to pay for a premade one and

they were just stuck.

The cubes were still at a very high premium and though the price itself was justified

given the amount of time needed to make one, it could still be very hard for the average

consumer to justify paying the price for a cube that may be slightly better in performance

or has a little bit of a different feel.

So I think a lot of people who wanted one, may not have gotten the chance to get their

hands on their own magnetic puzzle.

Now though, with the GTS V2 with magnets being mass-produced, I think this is as good time

as any to get a premade magnetic puzzle if you've been holding off thus far.

The price is under 25 bucks on speedcube.com.au which I think is super reasonable considering

as well that the normal GTS V2 was only about 3 dollars cheaper.

This isn't the first magnetic massed produced cube, there was also the Gans Air UM, but

it is the first that I think is much more affordable in price and takes advantage of

the market for more affordable magnetic puzzles.

This price isn't the only thing that I think is exciting though.

Maybe not completely because of this cube but definitely with this cube as a factor,

mass produced 3x3's now have a price standard that other companies will have to try to beat

and because of this competition hopefully prices for cubes like this in the future will

continue to come down.

This is if of course prices of 3x3's generally stay around the same because there has been

a trend lately of those prices coming up too.

But overall, I think this will be the start of us seeing more affordable, mass produced

magnetic puzzles and if you've been thinking about getting one, the GTS V2 is

the one I would personally recommend as of right now because it is I think

it's a fantastic puzzle, magnetic puzzles in general have a unique feel that is really interesting to try and

most importantly, the price is pretty reasonable in my eyes.

But yeah, that's really about all I've got to say on this.

If you are interested in picking up the cube I was talking about in this video, a link

will be in the description.

Other than that though, thank you guys for watching and I will catch you all in the next

one.

Why People Will Pay You Money (as an Expert) - Duration: 3:06.

Okay, so this is a very short video about... or with the following title:

Why everybody in the world is an expert. Of course we are not all experts in the same thing.

In the same, uh, on the same subject. Like, there are people that are experts in cooking.

There are people that are experts in running. There are people that are experts in being an asshole.

But the reason why I'm saying it and making a little fun of it,

is you sometimes don't really know – notice that you have some expertise...

which people are actually willing to pay some money for.

So, for instance, at a certain point I found out that people were very willing to pay me money...

because I was listening to their story about their businesses...

and I could solve their problem for them. So it's...

it's just a matter of finding out what your expertise is and then...

what I found out is you can actually make lots of money with it.

So what I actually advise you to do is to read a book called Expert Secrets.

You will probably find a link below the video or next to the video or above the video or wherever, somewhere,

you know, in the vicinity of the video, where, if you click there, you can get this book for free,

the physical book, you only pay for shipping and handling.

And you can read how, when you have an expertise that,

you know, could make you some money,

then how to deal with that...

and how to set it up in such a way that this expertise will make you money.

Right now I'm driving on one of the longest bridges in the world.

As you might see in the background, it just keeps going on and on and on.

It's a beautiful bridge. It is very nice weather. I used to be an expert driver in the past.

I drove around for years actually, doing very special deliveries...

for governments, for businesses, for etc., etc.

And I still, after all these years, like to drive and drive safe.

And soon I will have to pay, because passing this bridge of 22 kilometers is costing some money.

But I thought, you know, while I am driving...

and passing this bridge, why not make a short video.

So I just did and I hope you liked it and I say hasta la vista, ciao, talk to you later!

NAMING YOUR CHANNEL - Duration: 4:57.

I showed you this incident I was in New York last weekend and I was going around

filming

this lady and she what camera am I using and when I told her I'm using a Canon m3

and then I'm vlogging she got so excited and asked me what is your YouTube

channel I was having a little bit of a struggle trying to tell her my youtube

channel name because I know that if I htell that it's Melvyn Tan she

would probably end up finding Melvyn Tan the pianist

the good thing was she she had we have phone I really typing that on her phone

and immediately she subscribe but that got me thinking that if someone would

ask me and I tell them what my youtube channel name is only going to be very

difficult to tell them and so let's work on me stop until you got me started

thinking about a name for my daily vlog because I know we just want to go there

and get it oh this might be wrong

question with you what are the key things that went through my mind when I

was deciding for the name for my youtube channel and and this is the process

that I go through

be authentic what I meant my path is I I want to make sure that the name that I

chose it's it's a reflection of me

second factor that I was considering with choosing my name for my youtube

channel was that we had to be easy to spell and it's announced

the factor that led me to decide what to make my channel was it has reflect my

friend so I wanted to choose a name that it's reflective of the friend but it's

also served as an extension of the bread

the fourth and last factor which some people think is not really critical but

I think it's very important edge then whether this domain name of your then

name that you want to give to your channel it's available you see at this

point in time I still do not qualify for the YouTube URL value I settled on

Melvyn dot TV so when I chose this I felt of course it is authentic because it's

me it's my name and with an extension of my bread here's my website is Melvyn

dot me and so it's going from you know website it's dot me

YouTube is dot TV because it's video so that that's how is an extension of my

bread and I'm good it's easy to spell and it's easier for them the only thing

is whenever I tell people that my name is Melvyn

it usually spells it with an i not a y so I have to remind people that it's

Melvyn spelled with a Y not an I and lastly of course that domain name

was available so that was great

what means you give you a blog and if you like me still do not qualify for the

for the cost of URL from YouTube what have you used to can send people to your

YouTube can share with me and I would like to see what you guys have

Move a Mile and Enter to Win a $25 Gift Card- #TeamIBBRunning Contest - Duration: 4:56.

ZACHARY: Hello, hello, hello, hello.

I am author and entrepreneur, the cerebral palsy vigilante Zachary Fenell and we are

on a walk.

Me, I'm with you, and we're moving and we're moving towards the chance to win a $25 gift

card.

Or at least you can be on that chance to win a $25 gift card.

It's a part of the summer of 2017 Team IBB is having the #TeamIBBRunning contest where

the rules are pretty simple.

(birds chirping in the background) The rules are this.

For each day in the month you walk or you know it doesn't you know, I'm walking, its

the #TeamIBBRunning contest but you don't have to run.

You could walk.

You could limp which is technically what I do.

You could roll.

Whatever and whatever, however you move, move as my shirt puts it.

Not the one I'm wearing but the one I designed last year.

However, you move, move.

Its (sighs) that you know its however you move, move a mile.

Take a screen shot (car drives by, birds continue chirping) that however you are tracking the

distance, take a screen shot and post that on social media using the hashtag team, using

the #TeamIBBRunning and make sure you also tag in there my teammate from Team IBB Sean

Anthony who I will put his social media information for Facebook and Twitter in the video's description

(car drives by) so you know who to tag in your post to enter to win the $25 gift card

and what's next you, you walk a mile.

Walk, run, however you do you move a mile.

You go from that mile you take a screen shot, that evidence to show you did the mile and

you post it to Facebook or Twitter tagging in Sean Anthony, IBB Windy.

Again his social media account to Facebook and Twitter I will link to below in my video

and you tag him in there.

You use the #TeamIBBRunning and you have the screen shot in there and you are entered.

One mile a day, that's all you have to do and you are entered to win a 25 gift, dollar

gift card to a place of your choosing (car drives by).

With this gift card or with the entry here's the thing.

There is 30 days in June.

So technically you have 30 times to enter.

All you have to do is a mile each day.

And then okay, yeah.

(dog barks in background) At the end of the month ah they will, Team IBB will announce

the winner so hopefully it will be you.

Ah you know the whole idea is to get fit for the summer and just get active and be healthy

and ah walking is going to do that.

You know even if its just walking (car drives by) its going to do that.

I recently lost my grandmother at 91 years old (car drives by) and for 89 of those years

were pretty good.

The last two were kind of difficult but the (another car drives by) she had 89 good years

and a lot of it is because she use to walk regularly.

So again I'll just, a little bit, that one mile a day.

All you got to do.

I'm about to cross the street so I should probably concentrate on that so I'll see you

later.

How I made $10k profit in one day: True Lives with tom claflin - Duration: 12:09.

the best day I ever had was $37,000 revenue and $10,000 profit one day and

that was when I was working almost no I was working barely anything at all

maybe one hour a day tops

welcome to true lives with me Tom claflin where we try to look at the

question of what are you going to do with your life

what does living a good life mean and how do you create that so I'm

going to be interviewing a bunch of different people who I believe have

created really amazing lives for themselves generally from nothing and

gone on to do really cool things purely with the power of their imagination and

willpower and those are kind of a two themes imagination and willpower to

create something really amazing for yourself out of nothing just the other

day i was interviewing a guy from Estonia 20 years old already sold one company

traveled around the world is in Vietnam here in Ho Chi Minh city building a second

company doing a lot of cool things we're really inspiring kid twenty years old

when I was twenty year olds old like I was drinking with my time like it's amazing

II what one can do now where you have to access the internet and you can just see

so much see what other people are doing this access stuff so many tools so many

networking making connections learning from other people you can really achieve

kind of anything you can imagine now if you work for it so I'm going to be

interviewing a bunch of different people to try to find out how do they do it how

do they create amazing lives for themselves so I thought I start with my

my personal story so why should you listen to me Who am I you don't know me

personally you're just seeing some guy talking at you on the internet so I did

something that that I think very few people have done

I went from literally nothing no no money no connections no skills no real

good skills or anything like that totally broke pretty much to creating a

multi-million dollar company within a year all from my home here in Vietnam without

taking on any outside investment or going into any debt within four and a

half months I went from having maybe $200 in my bank account to over

$100,000 all this working from home on the

Internet living here in Vietnam it's truly a

remarkable I'm not the only person who's ever done this but it's not that common

so I want to tell you that story how I went from nothing to something I'm going

to start it when I first came to Vietnam

7 years ago when I first came here I was 25 years old it was January 6 2010 and I

had no idea when I was going to do with my life I didn't know what I wanted to

be I didn't know what I wanted to do didn't know what kind of person I was

and I guess I sort of wanted to find those answers out

so to make money I was

English teaching I was working maybe 8 hours a week maybe

10 hours a week making about at most $1,000 a month so I was kind of just

getting by eating a lot of street food and spending a lot of time alone both by

choice and by force because I was really poor but the goal was not somewhat to

have a good time it was to remove everything that was unessential for my

life and this process took a number of years both in removing the events with

activities in your life that are not important to you and also removing

the thoughts or opinions or ideas that don't really help you in any way the

main process I used to do this was meditation though that's kind of a fancy

name and sort of popular right now and really meditation is really just sitting there

and staring at a wall was what I was doing and meditation is usually very boring

and not fun and very difficult so I I did that for a number of years and over

time after about 3 years of sitting and staring at a wall I realized that this

was quite boring and I wanted to make a lot of money and I wanted to do it fast

and preferably easily and from home and legally because I'm not very much a risk

taker in that way. so how can I possibly do it how can I go

from no skills and no money to lots of money and lots of skills without getting a

job and while working from home the answer is how to make money on the

internet so a lot of people have tried its Google on the internet how to make

money on the internet and you'll get a lot of bullshit results maybe right

ten million bullshit results so it took about two years of kind of maybe year

we're just kind of going through that bullshit trying to find well what is the

secret what are these people doing is it all just lies or they just try to scam

you I eventually came across a forum called STM stack that money used to be

called and they were kind of advocating a specific strategy online it was

called paid media arbitrage or performance marketing where you were

buying ads you were buying ad space say from google you were buying google ads your

advertising someone else's product and they were giving you affiliate

commissions on the sales of that product so the goal was to make money off the

difference between the amount you spend on ads and the amount you made in commissions

and that's kind of the arbitrage and the performance part because you are

only paid on the commissions you got and you only made a profit off the

difference between those commissions in the ad spend so in theory it's pretty

simple in practice it is rather difficult so I started with a pay per

call ads on Facebook or on Google AdWords traffic

I was advertising for a call center that wanted insurance leads they were selling

health insurance through the call center and they wanted

people to call up so I bought ads on Google basically saying do you want

health insurance or I kind of forget the exact copy butBut it was like call now

to get free health insurance quotes so I was paying like a few dollars a click on

Google and I got paid I forget what it was many twelve dollars for a person who

stayed on the phone call for more than more than one minute and it was kind of

profiting sometimes if you look some days they make a few hundred dollars

some days i would lose a few hundred dollars but it was functioning I

was getting calls like a kind of see some potential but I had no idea what I

was doing I'll just just learn this off the

internet and read some forums I had no idea what I was doing then to my good

fortune a course came out by this STM forum and it was being taught by a guy

with a screen name Zeno real name Dave who I have now since become good friends

with and he was going to teach the basics affiliate marketing from start to

finish in the 6-week mastery course it still exists you can

still take it I highly recommend it fantastic and totally changed my life so

I started that course and one of the offers that we were running for that

course was called privacy lock it was an app that kind of put a a lock on your

pictures so or on your apps and messages so for example if you were sharing your

phone with your other family members you could kind of hide your stuff from them

so this was being offered in Indonesia so I was advertising in Indonesia

for an app that I didn't own called privacy lock

so i was buying traffic from a messenger another app that I was putting ads for

this app on it and I tried a lot of different ads

I don't speak Indonesian in fact I don't really know what language they speak in

Indonesian but fortunately I don't have to know that because I got translated on

the Internet so I got my creatives translated the winning ad was the

winning headline was is he looking at your pictures while you're in the shower

with a picture of a dirty guy looking at the pictures in the phone and that

what got people clicking and downloading the app so I was managing

within about a month of trying that campaign I was doing about $400

a day profit which was probably some of the greatest days of my life they

totally changed my life what the power of the internet was the power of

marketing on the internet was you didn't have to have a product

you didn't have to have a company you just had to find traffic that was cheap

buy it it hoped that it and try to get a good enough ad that converted those

people into into installs or users of the app then within six weeks I was

doing about a $1000 a day profit which was life-changing it

totally changed my idea of what's reality what's possible so I took the profits

from that and I went to London where STM was having a conference this is the

first time in my life I'd met people who are doing this professionally who were

doing affiliate marketing our performance media buying and it just

further blew my mind that these people were being really successful having

professional careers in this industry at the conference I met an offer that was

really a the guy was really nice he owned the product he wanted to sell it I

kind of pretended to be a little more experienced than I was and he said okay

you can help me promote this product is it great I also found the traffic source

there they were trying to sell traffic these were pop up ads and essentially I

had know fucking idea what I was doing and I came back to Vietnam and I just stuck

the two together and the first day I made 400 dollars and I was like holy shit

this is this is amazing and essentially I just ran that I ran at so hard for

about two years and I just expanded and expanded it and I literally made

millions from that is the best day I ever had was $37,000 revenue and ten

thousand dollars profit one day and that was when I was working almost no I was

working barely anything at all maybe one hour a day tops because it was kind of I

I figured out the system now it's not easy there's a lot of failures which I'm

not talking about right now there's a lot of failures that happen along the

way a lot of things that try that didn't work but but some successes enough

success that it totally changed my life so I just want to let show people what

is possible in reality what how you can go from literally nothing really having

nothing to completely changing your life and and this my story is kind of all

about money because it had that it's bit of a component but it doesn't have to

that you can find something that you really

passionate about it interested in and focus on that and make it happen through

connecting with people over the internet educating yourself and really trying to

find out what what it is you you want and what it is you can do so thank you

for listening that's my story if you want to anymore I'm going to have a link

to a webinar when I talk more about my my method for making money on the

internet and kind of out more about my story in detail so you can sign up for

that but otherwise I hope you enjoyed the following interviews where you can

hear from other people's stories they're totally different from mine but how they

they kind of went from from nothing to something and totally creating an

interesting interesting life for themselves just purely with their

imagination and the willpower so thank you for listening
