I want you

Now and forever

Then why did you do it?

I miss you

Now that you've gone

I'm not the type of girl to mess around with

I just called to say I really love you

You should have thought of that before

And girl I do regret

Every single word that I said

The night is so empty without you

and loneliness is falling upon my mind

I'm trying to touch you in my dreams

My heart is crying

Baby, oooh how I need you

Oooh how I need you

I'm waiting

every nighttime

My nights have been so lonely since you've been gone

I kiss you

and hold you tight

I dream about this feeling every night

What I mean is, girl I really changed now

I'd really love to believe you

I swear to you I do

Girl, I'll never make you blue

The night is so empty without you

and loneliness is falling upon my mind

I'm trying to touch you in my dreams

My heart is crying

Baby, oooh how I need you

Oooh how I need you

The night is so empty without you

and loneliness is falling upon my mind

I'm trying to touch you in my dreams

My heart is crying

Baby, oooh how I need you

Oooh how I need you

Oooh how I need you

right now like I was just going for a walk cuz you know it's a nice day you

know it's like hot outside or whatever and like it feels good stuff because

like it says that um I don't know what what book I think of science or health

that like if you get Sun it's like equivalent to like vitamin D or

something like that I don't know it's like vitamin D or vitamin C or

whatever's but it doesn't matter cuz it feels nice and stuff so um yeah so I

just came for a walk right now you know and um so I'm at some park instead and

uh I'm actually just yeah let me just give you a little view of the park

5 Animals That Regrow Their Body Parts - Duration: 6:13.

5 Animals That Regrow Their Body Parts

When you were a kid you might have had the trauma-thrill of thinking you caught a lizard

and opening your hand to find nothing but its squirming tail.

Well, as time goes know you learn that some lizards and other animals can lose their body

parts, but are masterful at regenerating them.

Unfortunately, we humans are less capable of doing that.

Well except in the case of our liver exactly, but we are not going to talk about that at

the moment.

Now even if our body are not capable of doing that, but we can learn from those masters

for different purposes.

In this video, I'm going to show you at least 5 animals that regrow their body parts.

I know there are definitely more than five, but here you will get the most interesting

than the rest of the list.

Before we start, make sure to like this video and subscribe our channel so you won't miss

any interesting updates in the future guys!

Let's enjoy the roundup of some of nature's great regenerators and how they may help people

down the road.

1 - Axolotl

You may recognize this face as the thumbnail of this video, but the Mexican axolotl hasn't

been spoiled by fame.

This hard worker not only can make copies like Xerox—regenerating a missing limb;

tail; and parts of their brain, heart, and lower jaw—but it's a favorite study subject

among scientists.

James Monaghan, a biologist at Boston's Northeastern University, began studying axolotls

during a grad school project and stuck with them since.

"If they're paralyzed in the back they can recover the functions of their legs … They

can make all new neurons and new connections that allow them to use their legs again, which

is really one of the most incredible examples of recovery."

His most recent research has focused on what genes regulate the axolotls' regenerative

abilities, testing what happens when certain genes are turned on or off.

The axolotl "is a great model because it has a wide tool set to study regeneration.

2 - Deer

If you read Thidwick, the Big-Hearted Moose as a child, you were amazed that an animal

could just chuck and regrow those huge antlers on a regular basis.

Antlers growing back "is one of the most extreme examples of regeneration out there.

A deer can regrow 60 pounds or 27 kilograms in as little as three months.

"We're finding that mammals have the ability to regenerate more than we appreciated before.

For more additional news, rabbits can regenerate parts of their ear lobes, bats can regenerate

parts of their wings, and spiny mice can quickly regenerate skin and repair holes in their

own ears.

So that's why Minnie wears that bow instead of earrings.

3 - Sea Squirt or Tunicate

This little squirt could be responsible for some big insight into regeneration.

The sea squirt, also called a tunicate, reproduces in two ways: Solitary types produce sexually,

and colonial sea squirts can reproduce both sexually or asexually by budding off one another.

A researcher at University of California, Santa Barbara, said that asexual members of

a colony share a circulatory system and are capable of whole body regeneration.

You wouldn't guess it to look at them, but sea squirts are also surprisingly similar

to us genetically.

An international team of scientists recently sequenced the genome of the tunicate Botryllus

schlosseri and found that 77 percent of our genes were present, offering hope for regenerative

medicines in people.

Well, a real area of intrigue is why tunicates' regenerative abilities slow down with age,

making them a potential platform for studying aging in animals—including us.

4 - Starfish or Sea Star

From Bikini Bottom to Fifth Avenue, everyone loves a star-fish.

These five-limbed creatures also have the ability to regenerate their arms and sometimes

their whole bodies.

Even if the critter is down to one arm, as long as it has its central nerve ring intact,

it can grow into an entirely new star-fish.

The starfish, you see, isn't actually a fish.

It's an echino-derm, cousin to the equally spiny sea urchin, sand dollar, and sea cucumber—so

marine scientists are trying to get the name sea star to catch on as its new moniker.

It can regenerate.

It can probably manage to rebrand.

5 - Flat-worm

It has been observed for centuries that if you cut a worm in half it will regenerate

to become two worms.

Biologist Thomas Hunt Morgan illustrated the regenerative powers of the planarian worm

in a 1901 book but despaired of ever understanding regeneration.

How blown away he would have been by what's available to scientists today.

"That's what's exciting, because we're getting the molecular tools to ask what genes

are regulating these regenerating phenomena."

And planarians are still a star subject.

In 2011, MIT researchers transplanted a special cell into a dying, irradiated planarian and

the animal was able to fully regenerate.

This year, researchers at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics in

Germany found a molecular switch in a flat-worm that enabled it to grow a new head.

Also this year, scientists at Tufts University showed that a decapitated planarian will not

only regrow a new head, it will retain learned information as well as planarians who never

lost their heads.

Well, That's The Most Interesting Animals That Regrow Their Body Parts.

Next time you lose your keys, you'll remember that a worm using a replacement head would

probably have remembered where he/she put them.

Really cool information isn't it?

The Many Worlds Interpretation of Quantum Mechanics. - Duration: 5:18.

Ever imagined a world,

where devices never run out of battery?

or a world where terrorism, never existed?

a world, where you are what you always dreamt of being?

or a world, where man-kind has achieved immortality?

Call them your fantasy worlds,

but, All of us love imagining such

alternate realities.

so, are there world's like these,

really somewhere out there?

worlds with different versions of you

doing and being everything you have and

haven't yet imagined!

are there universes that are identical to ours,

but with a little variation?

well, lets explore what we know.

whatever we discussed few seconds ago,

is known as the Many worlds interpretation.

The Many-Worlds Interpretation of quantum-mechanics

holds that, there are many worlds which exist

in parallel, at the same space and time as our own.

for understanding this in a better way, lets revisit the double-slit experiment.

we recommend you to watch our episode which is suggested now.

don't worry, its only 5 minutes long.

then come back & watch the remaining part.

so, as we know, when electrons were shot to the screen through a double-slitted strip,

they showed a unique pattern.

it was completely different from a pattern that was formed

when some balls are shot

in the same-way.

this experiment proved that electrons could

behave as both, particles as well as wave.

this pattern could be formed only if each electron

could go through both the slits simultaneously,

like a wave.

from this we can conclude that,

the electron takes all the possible paths to reach the screen.

that means, all the alternate histories exist.

only when we observe it, its wave-function collapses

and we see only one of the many possible outcomes.

so, does that mean that all the other possibilities are lost?

well; no.

for understanding this in a simple way, we

will revisit the Schrodinger's cat experiment.

again, we would recommend

you to watch the episode suggested now,

so that you can understand

what we will discuss further in this episode.

as we know that, when something is not observed,

its in a superposition of all possible states, until observed.

same principle applies with the Schrodinger's cat.

when the cat is in the box with the nuclear device,

until someone observes it,

it is both dead and alive at the same time.

but when it is observed,

we see only one of the possible outcomes,

because the universe splits into several branches

where every possibility happens.

so,if you have not yet opened the box, but are about to.

and after opening, you see that

the cat is alive.

you see it as alive because,

the universe has split into various branches,

and this version of you are in the branch of the universe

where, the poisonous gas has not killed the cat.

but, there is another version of you: who

has seen that cat die.

only it happened in some other reality.

both the possibilities are originating from a probabilistic event.

this means for every decision you make,

the universe splits into alternate realities.

and there are infact, near infinite versions of you.

all of them, doing and being everything,

that even YOU might have never imagined.

all of them, with a different life story .

these parallel worlds hold every possibility

that can ever happen.

there is a universe where terrorism never existed.

a universe where you are the most powerful person on the planet.

or a universe where you're not even a human being.

every thought exists.

this picture, of the infinite worlds

with infinite possibilities, has changed the way

we see our world.

all thanks to physicist Hugh Everett,

who first proposed the many-worlds interpretation

of quantum physics.

finally:

to sum up everything in one sentence, we'll say,

anything that can happen, Does happen.

so guys, thanks for being such a good audience in this universe.
