The health benefits of eating oatmeal every day, and a simple recipe to use at home.

1. Oats are one of the healthiest grains on the planet, which have been grown and eaten

for over 2000 years. 2. In order to stay strong in battle, roman

gladiators ate oatmeal for breakfast to keep them fit and healthy.

3. Eating oatmeal in the morning, provides your body with some fantastic health benefits

due to the high amount of nutrients within the oats.

4. Oats contain wonderful amounts of manganese, molybdenum, phosphorus, copper, biotin, magnesium,

fiber, folate, chromium, zinc, vitamin b1 and b5.

5. Eating this in the morning is the best way to start the day, as it provides the body

with energy and nutrition, yet the calories are very low and help you to lose weight.

6. This is very filling and takes time to digest. This helps you to stay full and makes

you less likely crave unhealthy foods and snacks throughout the day.

7. Oatmeal plays an excellent role in managing blood sugar levels. The protein and fibre

work together to reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes, and also keep your mood stable throughout

the day. 8. The soluble fibre within this also lowers

bad cholesterol and helps to you maintain a healthy heart. If you suffer with clogged

arteries, be sure to add some fresh fruit to your oatmeal. The beta-glucan works together

with vitamin c to rapidly heal the arteries 9. Studies have shown that eating a diet rich

in oats and whole grains lowers the risk of breast cancer by 52 percent.

10. Oats contain powerful phytonutrients which help to boost the immune system and promote

healing of damaged tissue. 11. Those who suffer with celiac disease may

eat oatmeal as it is gluten free.

How to make oatmeal for breakfast also known as porridge.

You Will Need.

200 Grams Rolled Oats 240ml of Water

½ Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract. Handful of Raspberries

Method Bring the water to the boil, add the oats

and then reduce the heat. Allow this to simmer until the liquid is absorbed and add the vanilla

extract and raspberries. Mix until desired thickness and serve.

Eat this every day to rapidly improve your diet and stabilise your blood sugar levels.

You can replace the water with dairy milk, or almond milk if you wish.

Be sure to try different fruit combinations, especially fruits high in vitamin c.

I also recommend adding a teaspoon of Amla Powder to this. This creates a super breakfast

for those with heart problems. 12. This healthy breakfast will also keep

your bowel movements regular, without the need for unhealthy laxatives.

13. Oats can also be added to desserts as an alternative to flour. These are very popular

in vegan and vegetarian groups. 14. Remember that breakfast is one of the

most important meals. It is important not to start your day with unhealthy sugar. If

you require sweetener, use some natural Manuka honey, packed with antioxidants.

Navigating a College Website (EdUSA Webinar) - Duration: 5:45.

Hello and welcome to a short webinar hosted by the Commission for Educational Exchange

between the United States, Belgium and Luxembourg.

In addition to administering the Fulbright Programs for Belgium, Luxembourg and the European

Union, the Commission for Educational Exchange also offers educational advising for students

in Belgium who are thinking about studying in the United States.

EducationUSA makes applying to a U.S. college or university clear by identifying your five

steps to U.S. Study.

In today's video, we'll talk briefly about navigating college websites.

College websites are an important resource for international students, who may not have

the opportunity to visit college campuses in person.

Let's look at the different ways in which a university's website can help you to figure

out if the school is a good fit for you.

When choosing the universities to which you will apply, it is important to consider what

academic programs are offered by the schools you are considering.

Even if you haven't yet picked your major, it is important to reflect upon which fields

of study interest you academically and whether or not it will be possible to pursue these

at the college you are considering.

Remember that there can be slight differences between the websites of colleges and universities.

As smaller institutions, colleges like Denison in Ohio have a more limited offering and therefore

can often list all majors and minors on one page.

After clicking on "academics" at the top navigation bar on Denison's website, we

are brought to a long list of available programs.

If we click on the "Global Commerce" major, in which a Bachelor of Arts can be earned,

we are directed to a page describing this degree.

Within the dropdown menu we can access the associated courses and requirements for this

major.

On the other hand, universities may divide their academic programs into colleges, differentiating

between a School of Business and a School of Arts & Sciences.

To view the majors offered at Northeastern University, we can either navigate by Colleges

& Schools or by Departments and Programs.

If you know you are interested in an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, you can access

it directly from the Departments and Programs page.

However, if you want to learn more about engineering programs in general, the website of the College

of Engineering would be helpful.

In this instance this college has its own website; after selecting Academics we can

see what programs it offers.

Just be sure to differentiate between Undergraduate and Graduate programs!

As admission requirements differ from university to university, it is important for students

to review the specific admissions requirements of each university to which they are applying.

Does the college require SAT or ACT scores, and what are the average scores of admitted

students?

Does the college accept applications via the Common App, and what additional components

do they require?

How does the application process differ for international students?

On the website of Case Western Reserve University in Ohio this information can be found by clicking

on "Admissions".

Scroll down until you find International Students and then click on "Learn more".

This brings us to a page which lays out the specific requirements for admission.

Further down on the page are specifics for English proficiency testing.

Standardized tests like TOEFL are often used to measure an international student's proficiency

in English, and it's important to know what score the university expects from successful

applicants.

University websites are also the best place to receive accurate and updated information

about the cost of attending a university or college.

Institutions are legally required to provide accurate information about the tuition and

fees they charge, and will provide cost calculators to help students estimate additional expenses

for things like housing and books.

Let's take the example of Rhodes College in Tennessee.

Visitors to their website can click on Admission and Aid on the top navigation bar to learn

about tuition and available financial aid.

On the next page, we want to select "Cost and Financial Aid".

This brings us to more specific resources including some statistics about tuition and

fees.

To the right of the page, we can click on their "Net Price Calculator."

This calculator allows us to get a better idea of the actual cost of attending Rhodes

College, including estimates for housing, books, and living expenses as well as potential

financial aid packages.

It is important to understand that the estimated financial aid included on a university's

cost calculator is just that: an estimate, not a guarantee of funding.

For international students who may not have the opportunity to visit a campus in person

before applying, university websites are also a valuable way of getting a more accurate

idea about student life at the universities you are considering.

Most college websites highlight student organizations and activities, fine and performing arts productions,

club and intramural sports, student wellness services, and other topics related to campus

life.

For example, Smith College in Massachusetts has an entire tab called "Student Life".

Here we find practical information about housing and dining on campus, as well as what students

at Smith College do in their free time!

There is a list of campus organizations organized by type.

And finally there are photos and videos for you to get to know the school better.

There are over 4,000 accredited institutions in the United States -- and they all have

unique and informative websites!

In addition to perusing college and university websites, do your research by using university

search engines, visiting campuses or taking online "virtual tours", and taking advantage

of in-country alumni networks.

Of course, you can always contact your local EducationUSA Advising Center for personalized

advice.

The right university for you is out there -- you just have to look!

Event Promotion - Using YouTube to Market Your Event - Duration: 14:15.

[Sheryl] Are you using YouTube to promote your event? Let's look at some great ways you

can utilize YouTube when it comes to planning your events.

Hi, I'm Sheryl Loch with Ginger Roots Media and I am here with... Hi guys, Lany

Sullivan with Events by Lany. [Lany] Alright this is her favorite topic

YouTube so she might get a little ranty here and there, but let's start with

we're going to use YouTube for our events, where do we start?

[Sheryl] Well the first thing is once you've got your event name, you figured out a few

things, you're going to need to start promoting it and YouTube is great for

this. I know everybody's going to tell you, Oh

Facebook video! Facebook video! You know what it has it's place

YouTube is searchable. YouTube you don't have to be logged in. YouTube is my

favorite place in the world, but one of the things you're going to want to do

once you get your event name is to get a branded YouTube channel. This is not-

Lany Sullivan is not going to use her personal channel with all her little

stuff on it for an event. Absolutely not. You want a branded channel. I don't care

if this is your first event you've got and it's small, start building that now and

optimization. You're going to want optimize this channel so that's one

reason you want to brand it. You also whenever you go into branding it you can

include managers so that way you don't have to do all this on your own because

you're going to have a lot to do [Lany] and you can have a Sheryl Loch like I do. [Sheryl] Well and

that is the thing is, are you going to be able to do all this are you going to be

able to edit and upload and optimize and...Probably not. So you don't want them

in your personal channel you want a branded channel. Get your managers in.

Optimize it for your event. Again, I want to point

something out and we discussed this in the Facebook page and the hashtags. When

you get your YouTube channel and you're setting it up, we are not going to

include the event date or area [Lany] in the name of it. [Sheryl] Right in the name of it, you

are not going to. So it is not going to be your event name, 2000 whatever for the

year or Atlanta. Because you want to build this over time and you're going to

use it before the event, during the event and after the event to build for next

year so.. [Lany] You're going to use it next year and the year after and the year after

if you're planning on doing annual events. [Sheryl] Yeah

so let's think ahead, let's not be so in a little closed area that you want to

promote this event. They're going to find it if you're promoting it properly it

doesn't need a year and for a lot of events they hold them in different

places. So let's think about that before you include Atlanta or Las Vegas [Lany] and

that leads into the promo video. The promo video is where you can

do the location-based content rather than having it branded right? So what else

can we put into.. Well I have a promo video and what do we put into it? [Sheryl] Your

promo video, for one you're going to put this on your home page in your YouTube

channel this is going to be just like any other trailer for any other channel.

If you want to start simple you, can make actual advertising videos. But if nothing

else you need a promo video... quick. We don't want this long and drawn-out. Watch

what you're saying in it. You want to show some clips build some interest and

this is going to go on your homepage in the trailer area. Tell people what your

event is, where it's at this year, when it is, what are some of the highlights, but

keep it somewhat condensed. Tell them to be sure to subscribe, visit your

your website. This is a lead-in. This is not the only thing that's going

to be on your channel this is a lead-in to get

them interested in what you're even doing. And the thing is, don't worry that

it's not going to interest everybody that hits your channel we don't care

about everybody. You have your niche and you appeal to them with this video. We're

not worried about the plumbers in BFE, whether or not they like your videos

they're not going to buy it ticket to your event anyway. So stick keep it in your lane.

[Lany] Your trailer video is probably going to be the video that's on your landing page

most likely. It can be. It may not always be, but it you know especially when you're

promoting your event, your trailer video could be the same exact video which

makes it really easy. [Sheryl] And it just depends on how quickly you can get something out.

I would say get something out and then if you're going to need to have paid

editing and all for a sales video, but let's get that trailer/little promo up

right away. [Lany] And make sure that you own all the images, the music and the video

clips right? Rant rant... are you ready for the rant? Here we go... copyright

[Sheryl] Here's the thing when you're making this video you may say, "oh I want to use this

music by whoever because my people love their music." Look you don't want knocked

down for copyright. You don't want to be known as a thief. If you're using images

video clips, you name it on that video people that you don't even have a right

to use their clips. So if I have a clip from Lany at a different event that

Just because I took it on my phone or on my camera does not mean I have the

rights to use her image, her voice, nor do I have the rights from that event place.

So I could probably get by with using it for something personal to highlight her. I

can't use it to promote something else because she has not given me permission,

is the biggest thing. So make sure anything you're putting in this video is...

you have the rights to use, it is not copyrighted by someone else,

they're going to come after you, you're going to get a strike against you, not

just a YouTube strike but you're a frickin thief too lazy to make your own

shit strike and that doesn't appeal to anyone. [Lany] Yes, I knew that she would love to go

and tell you all of that. Alright, so public - private - unlisted. So

this is a way that we can mark our videos on our channel, but what's the

priority, what's the importance, and what's the difference between marking

your videos this way? [Sheryl] Okay a private video is great fine if you want

absolutely no one to see it. Yes, you can list them in there. Here's the thing you

want we're using this YouTube channel that we're talking about on this video

for promotion. Promotion means you want to get it out to the masses. You want

people to see it. You want people to find it. Can you upload that video private

till you get it optimized ,till you get it set, maybe your release date. You're going

to schedule it on a certain day. Get that video up, have it private, have it

scheduled great and fine. Then some people will say "oh I want it unlisted"

Why the hell do you want it unlisted? That's like paying to put out an

advertisement but you're going to keep it in your house instead of hanging that

sign out on your front door. Why would you do that?

Can there be special things that maybe you're sending out a little quick

message to people who have are on your list or something? Yeah. The majority of

everything you're going to do goes public. When you make that public that

means someone that isn't involved maybe they want to share it with their friend

because they happen to be typing in YouTube or Google and find it by a search.

If you're unlisted, your video is private... it's not found on search people. It's not

happened upon when they come to your channel. It's unlisted. It's private.

Nobody freaking sees it. [Lany] So I love [Sheryl] public, public [Lany] If you

didn't figure that out, you should probably put your videos public

[Sheryl] and optimized [Lany] and please optimize them. So the next thing is...What

type of videos? If we're going to promote our events prior to the event happening

what type of videos do we want to actually have public? [Sheryl] Okay, some people

say how can I make enough videos? Look, we're not just going to you, the owner of

the event... We're not going to rely on just you. Kind of, but not exactly. What

you can do is most events have speakers. So interview the speakers. Hire someone

to interview the speakers. I mean you can get one of your other teammates to

interview. This does not have to be an hour-long interview. Absolutely not. In

fact, I discourage that. I would say even a short [Lany] eight to ten minutes [Sheryl] Yep. [Lany] It can be

super simple. [Sheryl] and ask them a few questions. You're going to possibly interview your

sponsors. Pop in and say hey we want to know ask them why they want to be involved.

Ask them what they're going to bring to your event that people will

want to see. You're A. promoting your speakers and your sponsors, which they

love, which they'll share, which build your channel, which builds your

credibility. [Lany] OMG [Sheryl] All that in one. [Lany] Wow! [Sheryl] So your speakers your sponsor interviews I

mean that's just simple stuff. You want to do this to build hype for not only

your speakers and your sponsors, but your event as a whole. This also means

that maybe I've never heard of one of your speakers and now I'm getting a

little bit of an insight into who they are. Maybe just because I haven't heard

of them doesn't mean I wouldn't really want to go to their portion of your

event. So we're building hype. We're sharing everybody. We're getting them to

share us. You can show shots of your venues if you

happen to be local. Go down, show you know video shots of where you're at or the

local [Lany] Do a walk through, yeah. [Sheryl] The local things that if people are coming in, what

attractions are they going to be able to see while they're there. So they're not

coming in blind to your, your location that they may not be familiar with.

[Lany] Exactly. Why do we want to do these videos? What does it do to the promotion

aspect of our event? [Sheryl] You're going to build knowledge, trust, like... all of that

that we all work on that all the time. You want them familiar; with you, your

event, your people involved in the event. You can even use a playlist of your

speakers. So if you can't get an interview make a playlist and throw in some of

your your speakers, their videos and if you're a speaker and don't have videos

that I can throw in a playlist. I'll be getting hold of you. [Lany] Exactly.

[Sheryl] It's a way for you to start making connections with your local businesses

around the area, with your people coming in. It's all about building that

community and building trust and love factor. [Lany] The trust and love. Alright,

there's one last thing to the promotion piece that has to be on

everything. [Sheryl] Hashtag baby. Hashtag. So we talked about

in the last video how your event should have a specialty hashtag. I want these

watermarked on to the video. They don't have to cover the whole thing. Put a

watermark with your hashtag on it for the event. Seriously, everything needs the

hashtag. So watermark that baby right on there. [Lany] It becomes more recognizable. [Sheryl] mm-hmm

and not only that but that way as you build, say next year people can go and

they may see a speaker that you're highlighting our sponsor and they'll be

able to see that hashtag for whatever 2017 and realize oops

it's 2020 that's probably not who's going to speak

this time. So hashtag freaking every everthing, everthing, everthing.

everthing. Okay guys, so now you got a little bit on why you should use YouTube

in your promotion. We're also going to cover using YouTube during your live

event and how you're going to use YouTube [Lany] after [Sheryl] post event, yeah this doesn't end. [Lany] No.

[Sheryl] ever. So be sure to give us a like, a dislike, share this video and where

should they going to get more? [Lany] So go to eventsbylany.com/knowledgebase

You're going to see the black box in there for the digital marketing. Sign up

New, Used, and Leased Automobiles: Robins Financial Credit Union - Duration: 1:49.

When you're getting a car, how much you pay and when you pay it can vary.

A lot depends on whether you decide to buy a new car, buy a used car , or lease a car.

Buying new involves a higher sticker price,

but you get to be the first owner,

and will typically get a comprehensive warranty.

Buying used can mean a lower price,

though you may need to do more work to ensure the car is in good shape.

Another route people take to spend less money is leasing a vehicle.

Leasing is similar to renting, but it's over a longer term - typically two or three years.

Some people like to lease because it allows them to drive a car that is more expensive than they'd be able to otherwise afford.

Shoppers often still make down payments when they decide to lease a car,

but their monthly payments are typically much lower than they'd be if they were financing to buy the car.

Of course, the downside is that when the term of your lease ends, you won't own the car

The dealer who owns the lease will, however, typically give you the option to buy the car at the end of your lease.

While a car loan has higher monthly payments,

the car is yours when the term of your auto loan ends.

So you can continue to drive it without monthly payments,

sell it, or trade it back to the dealer as payment towards another car.

So remember that leasing can be a tempting option - and it may be right for you -

but be sure to check the math on the total amount you will pay over time,

so you can make an informed decision.

If you have questions about leasing versus buying new or buying used,

contact one of our auto loan experts at Robins Financial Credit Union,

who will be happy to assist you!

Faculty Fireside Chats: Jolene Smyth answers the question "What are you reading these days?" - Duration: 1:02.

I'm reading a lot right now about how to design web surveys for mobile devices,

that is, for people who are going to answer on those teeny tiny screens that are on

their phones. We know a lot about how to design web surveys for folks who are

answering on computers, but we know a lot less about how to do it really well when

we have so little screen real estate to work in. So we're looking forward in the

next few months to writing a grant to find some experiments on how to design

for mobile devices, and as a result of that I'm doing a lot of reading right

now in that area to sort of try to figure out what's been done and what

needs to be done yet. I also have some pilot data that I'm really excited to

get into. I just came out of the field so I want to analyze that and see what we

can learn from the pilot data. In addition to that, I do a lot of reading

right now on World War II and the aftermath of World War II, but that's a

totally different topic for another time.

Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM Lens review/unboxing - Best Canon Lens for Youtube - Duration: 6:37.

boom, guess what I just got?

nothing to stop me alone

what's happening everyone's Zak here and today I've got a canon lens that I've ordered

online and you can pretty quick to order than a year a cannon EF 50 millimeter

1.4 USM

I was going to go with 1.2 but I looked a lot of reviews and it wasn't for me

right now where I am it wasn't worth it so I was like this is a good start and

the photos and everything I will link you below so if you check out my

Instagram at SAC shots I'll put a lot I actually do a put a lot of effort in

that account at that shot which I have a lot of photos there right now which you

can go check and I'll be using this lens to produce even better photos because

photography is one part of me and I love doing it and the geography is another so

from kind of a yeah happy that I can do all this so let's get into this lens

unboxing and I'll do a review after as well so there should be in this channels

off so let's go and see what's in the box a lot of paperwork that comes in

this really nice package couple of is like a number

let's give me and so rad steps and this is the whole men and comes with the

white top and bottom cups so we're going to take it off and look inside it

because that's what you want that's 1.4 so that's pretty white up this all but

if I compared with my kit lens which is like what's that five to five point six

and you can see the difference like I bring it up so this this is one point

for the aperture is wider them and look at the difference oh my God

look how close this one is enough how wide open this one is it's amazing why

you can look this through here all right so this looks so I'll put this one this

is just the kit length so I'll just look into the build quality or is it built

metal and now 200 percent made out of plastic as you can see so and then build

quality the cloth looks pretty similar image it looks clean as right now look

at that glass is perfectly shine right now well not for long so it's a usm lens

made in Japan 50 mil the 50 millimeter that I got II seems that they focus

where the focus ring doesn't work so I'll show you that's the maximum it

moves look watch listen as you can see it another focus

that's all it moves taken on screen

this shows that

okay from here dancing much but the movement is very minimal so I'm going to

have to return this and get a new one hopefully the dial and the dial I'll put

in the cameras direct so I'll put other focus so yeah that oh did I mess this up

I did what I did okay so that's the dope quality and what I was gonna it's just

an unboxing in my I've got no experience with it so I want to put it on the

camera and start taking some photos and obviously I'll produce as much with this

as possible or usually for videography as well now I'm a first impression of

this lens Aragon is pretty cool so far but look pretty much the same as the kit

lens I go now I can piece on this on the fixed lens so produce a lot of produce a

amazing portrait photography which I will post on exact shots which you can

go follow me on Instagram and I will do videos with this the videos for a marvel

of channel which you can follow as well it's youtube.com slash slash this vector

far from the channel it's on the screen right now and also do the videos in

photography actually link everyone every channel that I work on do videos for in

the description so I'll be using these lens and the video quality come wait and

all right there will be this unboxing and obviously sort of box outside inside

but that's the little quick unboxing and I'll do review whether it is all and

that should be coming out soon thank you I'm out

purse

business consultancy she commenced a career but didn't feel quite fulfilled.

That's when she started to follow her passion got herself a certificate from the

University of Cambridge and Oxford and started her career as a trainer, coach

and consultant in intercultural communications career and people

development. Marina has also been living and working in the UK for several years

and still acts as a coach at the Queen's Young Leaders Award. As Marina says, her

goal was to become a world-class coach and trainer and this still is her goal.

Marina I'm so excited to have you here today. Thank you very much for the

invitation. I'm very excited to be here. Yeah, my first question is, you know, there

are so many definitions of what coaching is all about, what is coaching to you? For

me coaching is helping people to develop themselves so it's more like helping

people to build their bridge and not telling them and or teaching them. It is

unlocking potential, it is growth, it is a safe space to be honest to yourself,

and to your coach as well, to overcome obstacles, to overthink beliefs and

values, to maybe overcome limiting beliefs because a lot of issues we have,

a lot of problems, more or less, yeah, have the beginning in our brain, in our mental

environment. You know there are actually really a lot of limiting

beliefs people have but what might be one that you find in many, many

different people? I guess, one of them, the major limiting beliefs people have

is that they just think they can't do it.

I think it's one thing people think about themselves very often and there's

one saying from Walt Disney "if you can dream it, you can do it" because if you

can see it in your inner self, then you start to believe it.

Then you can do it. In the end there is so much out there you can achieve and

you can do and it all starts with believing in yourself and believing in

the thing you would like to achieve. It sounds very much like a

self-confidence issue and I can imagine that might be one of the things or one

of the reasons why you go see a coach what are or, when do you

generally should go see a coach. I think there are various reasons to to seek out

to a coach and one yeah, one reason could be that you may be having struggles

to believe in yourself, but there are also other different situations in

life. For example if you need to find clarity, if you want to connect more

with your inner self, your wishes and your needs, if you want to make a change

in your career or change in your life. I think a coach is good for any situation

you would like to reflect on, to think through and where you have the feeling

that you're reaching a certain level of not being able to grow alone anymore. So it's

a safe space to allow your potential and your resources to come to you and to

help you to reach next level. So when it comes to career or a changing careers,

from your experience, what is the one major question we should ask ourselves I

think the one major question is that you should ask yourself what you would like

to achieve in general, because a lot of people, they see their career quite as a

limited space in their life, it's not connected to the other areas and for me

as a coach, or in my practice as a coach, I discovered, that it is

much more easier to find out what you really want and where you would like to

develop your career, in which direction, if you ask yourself, how should

you career fit in in your life, in your in your general life. I guess there are

many different expectations, also from the society, from the culture itself,

how do we manage, that we truly find what makes us happy and maybe not our

parents or generally our family or the rest of the society? I think,

if you want to find the one thing that makes you happy career wise, I

guess it would be the best thing to just look into yourself and try to find out

what you would like to do, if you are not under the pressure to earn money

and what you'd like to do in your free time, so what are the things

you like to read about, what are the places you like to go and for me it was

like reading about how does the human brain works and how we could develop a

better life for us and I like to travel as well and especially in coaching

nowadays which becomes more and more online as well, it allows me to go to

different places and to train in different biggest companies as well and

also to yeah, coach my clients from a beach if I want,

that is quite exciting for me. I know you've been living in the UK

some time, you are also an intercultural cultural trainer, so you help people to

understand maybe the new culture they're going into you a bit better, what

do you feel is maybe the one main struggle that these people face when going

abroad and what might be the one tip for them? I think it's actually quite funny, because

we always think it must be something very big or important and a

lot of people in the trainings, if you talk to them and ask them, okay,

what's the main topic that's might be worrying you,

it is besides of losing kind of the social environment and

maybe having some cultural differences as well, it is just finding a routine

again and to learn how to get simple things, like a bank account,

renting a car, renting a flat ,whom to call if you need to repair something at

home, it's like this little, normal, minor things that can cause a lot

of stress in the summ and what I would recommend is just to think

about your routine at home and try to find out what is important to you

and try to set this up in the new country as well, for example if

you went to yoga every Monday evening, then seek out for a yoga place in

your new city and do this. This will help you to get routine quite

quickly, because routine is equal to security. And that is one of our basic

human needs right? It is one of our basic human needs, one out of six and each person needs

security, of course, each person needs it to a certain amount, some do more, some

less, but a certain amount of security, of routine is necessary for our mental

well-being. And do you think somebody who is really seeking security, you know, that is

one of their top needs, do you still think that they should try to go

abroad? Why not. I think it's quite a

challenge maybe for the person, maybe a bigger challenge than for someone

else, but I think, it's a great chance to learn and maybe the person should yeah

seek out for be more structured environment, maybe go broad with a company,

where we have our job and maybe a flat provided, but yeah, why not. Yeah, I

think it could be an amazing experience and a huge potential for personal growth.

Yeah I also think that this is an experience worth for everyone,

it's more about, maybe even if you feel that you're lacking something, find a

coach that might help you with the special situation you are in. Yeah this

is exactly what we are doing and with the companies, we are helping

the people on the way to another country and in the first month in the country to

settle in a bit more quickly. Now, you know, I had this feeling lately, that

coaching is getting more and more popular and so therefore of course and

also the coach profession is enjoying more and more popularity too. Now when we

are thinking about, how do I know which coach is the best for me and for my

concrete situation? I think it is a quite tricky question because in the most

countries it's not a regulated market so there it's like a free market and

everybody can name himself a coach yeah so for the customer I think it would be

a good idea to, just to check a certain amount of education, from my perspective,

every serious coach is seeking for a quite a solid education in that area

maybe from recognized companies or universities, for example like

University of Cambridge or other institutions and associations, so I

think quite helpful is to check out any memberships of coaching associations or

International Coaching Federation, so like bigger organisations, that's kind of

given a certain proof of experience and education for coaches. I think the third

area you could take a look at is to reach out to the coach and talk to the

coach because it's a question of chemistry, because it's a very intimate

work and you need to understand each other and you need to, I

would say, have kind of a natural connection to each other.

Yeah and because it also, as you said, it's intimate and people are also coming

with very intimate problems to you and I know that often times they even, the

problem they're actually coming to you may not even be the problem they're

facing so you need to dig deeper to find out what is it actually about. That's quite

normal because people never come with their, with the main issue. That's

always, it's like an iceberg, it's something on the surface and you

always need to look under the water because the issue, the root

of the problem is under the water and so if you are coming with one topic, you,

most of the cases, you end up somewhere else because it is indeed another

another problem, the root of all this was showing on the surface because

it just a result, what you see is a problem as a result of something else.

I really like the example with the iceberg, because it's exactly the same

with misunderstanding between cultures, so you have a behavior on

the top, it might even be similar, but there is a different value behind it. What might be

even some misunderstandings that you have experienced or something that you were

confronted with, that you maybe even didn't like? In terms of cultural differences

I struggle I think the most with time issue, so in some countries I am working

with, the time is very, I would say, fast, the response time for emails is

faster, you get a reply between one or two days and in my home country, for

example, everything takes time and if you go a bit more south it even takes

a bit more time and honestly I prefer to, just to get things done

and I appreciate a lot when countries are more into

replying fast, because you can just yeah,

go with the next step much quicker and I'm struggling sometimes with this

time delay and just to spend so much time for waiting on things.

It's quite difficult for me because I'm a very quick person. And so how

do you deal with that? I just have to try to learn it and I'll try to accept it

because it doesn't make any sense for me if I'm getting angry or upset or

whatever, so I just try to reflect with whom I'm dealing at the moment

so which country is it, with which person, is it a government office or is it a

private person or whatever and then I just try to to understand and if it

takes too long for me I just yeah maybe reconnect and try to get my answer a bit

faster then usually. So how did coaching change your life and what might

be the one thing that you've learned in the course of the last years, even maybe

since you made this huge change in your life? I came across

coaching a couple years ago because I was just searching for my yeah

perfect career maybe and struggling with some other things in my life and it

helped me a lot because it helped me to grow, it helped me to develop a life

I like, yeah step by step and I use coaching a lot even for myself, so I do a

lot of self coaching and of course if I feel the need of talking to someone

because of a certain issue or certain problem, because we all have our thoughts

about something or concerns, then I just seek out to someone and go through it

and I discovered that I can overcome certain things quite quicker with the

help of an external professionist. Thank you so much. Thank you so much for having

me. Iam so glad we did this. Now Marina and I would love to hear from

you, so what is the one thing that you've learned today? Now if you liked our video
