I really just love this job because

in home healthcare you can wear many

hats, so I think you can look at all the

aspects of the patient and try to find

the things that that they're needing.

They open up to you more, you're in their

home, so they can get comfortable with you.

They share more so I just try to be a good

listening ear and let them tell me

what they're really needing, you know.

Sometimes it is just bringing a nurse in,

sometimes bringing the social worker in,

or getting them to the right kind of

doctor or specialist. Sometimes I can be of

help in that and I like to help. So I

think that's the important part of

caring for me... is just trying to help

other people. And we all gotta get

through this life some way, so you need

help along the way... everybody does.
