How to Wear Heels (When You're Not a "Heels Girl") - Duration: 6:30.

Hello. Hello. Hello my friends! Kaitlyn here, and are you terribly uncoordinated at wearing heels?

But you want to wear heels because they're super cute and make your legs look awesome and make certain outfits pop!

Then this is the video for you, girl!

Or guy! guys might want to wear heels and actually this might be the most relevant

video for a guy trying to figure out how to wear heels.

(INTRO MUSIC)

So I was a heel hater for the longest time but admittedly I did grow up during the late 90s and early

2000s when heels were the worst. But the 2010s kind of gotten their A-game going with the heels.

And it wasn't until pretty much post college when I entered the

professional working world where I felt like I needed to wear heels in order to fit in with the

business attire that I actually decided to start trying to wear them. And I ended up walking like this:

(COMEDY MUSIC)

And blisters everywhere!

What do you think about blisters?

And just generally being uncomfortable and unhappy! But with some practice and trial and error

I have learned how to walk in some awesome heels!

And since I've actually had so many of my female friends ask me how I'm able to wear the heels that I do,

I thought I would share some of my secrets! Woohoo!

Step #1: Training. So the most important step to wearing heels in my opinion is

training your calves and feet to be able to wear them. This might seem obvious

but I feel like a lot of people gloss over this fact. Like oh, it's not comfortable to wear heels

so I'm just not going to wear them, but then you put them on for say a special occasion and you PAY FOR IT!

So what I found is that you get a pair of heels that are relatively comfortable. And not too high and then you just start

wearing them out in small increments.

Like going to dinner or maybe out for some errands or one day at work when you can take them off

while you're sitting at your desk if you need to. It's also important to note

what kind of heels you start training with. You obviously don't go out for the first time in heels in like five-inch Stilettos!

I really like ankle booties because the heel is usually a little bit chunkier and you also get to wear socks

so you have some extra padding. So I would say starting out with some booties because they have that chunky heel

and they give you better ankle support or maybe some wedges! Wedges are also my go-to heel.

It's much easier to walk in especially if you're a heel walker like me! You just have to watch out for twisted ankles I think

that can happen easier in wedges because you're like fooled into believing that you're more stable than you really are.

I once was wearing like 4 inch wedges to church

And I was in front of the church. Service had started yet, fortunately

And I just...my ankle just gave out, and I fell on the floor, and I'm pretty sure everyone saw up my skirt.

Yep! No one said anything, but it was just like, "Huh, what happened to Kaitlyn?! She just fell on the ground!"

Yeah...yeah. So watch out for that.

Basically what you want to do with this step #1 is to start building muscle in your calves and in like the arch and

like pad of your foot so that as you add more height in your heel,

you're better able to, you know, those muscles are like engaged and able to work.

Like you wouldn't think you need muscles to do fashion and to wear heels,

but actually you do! Step #2: Making sure your heels are as comfortable as possible!

You've seen the tricks about breaking your heels in without actually having to destroy your feet doing it, right? Like you wear big thick socks

and put your shoes on and blow dry the shoe on your foot so that it stretches it out.

Or you put a ziploc bag of water into the shoes and put them in the freezer so that as it freezes and expands into

ice then it like stretches out the shoes. I haven't tried the frozen water thing,

but the blow-drying your shoes while wearing socks definitely works also

don't feel bad to use insoles or like the tiny toe sock things if your feet are

slippery. You don't want them moving around in the shoe.

But this also includes picking the most comfortable shoe for you. Like those five-inch hot pink heels at Forever 21 look

AMAZING, but I can almost guarantee you that after about 20 minutes of wearing them

It's going to feel like Satan is skewering pigs on your feet

and those pigs are your toes!

Also be sure to note heel height. Like you can wear heels that are a lot taller in wedges than you can in Stilettos.

My general rule now because I have bought heels that looked really good

and then were far too tall for me in the end

is that if the heel is more than three and a quarter inches then I have to do a

significant amount of walking in them before buying them or wearing them when I know I'm going to have to walk around.

If I know I'm just going to like sit all day, and I can take my shoes off then maybe, maybe it's okay, but uhhh....

three and a quarter inches that's...that's where my sweet spot is. I would say that a good starter heel

recommendation is the "Comfort Plus" line at Payless. They're cheap.

They come in a multitude of colors. And they have padding in the heel and inside the shoe which just

makes it so much, like you basically already have an insole. That's built into the shoe.

They're honestly the most comfortable heel I've ever worn. The height is about an inch and a half to two inches

but my mom and I are obsessed

with them and we'v bought far too many pairs. And finally Step #3: Know the terrain.

So one of the big things I've learned about wearing heels doesn't even technically have to do with the wearing of the heels

but it is knowing what I'm going to be doing and where I'm going to be the day that I plan to wear heels.

Like am I going to be walking up and down a lot of stairs or maybe around

Campus and on uneven sidewalks. Is there going to be thick carpet that makes it really awkward for

balance or maybe there are going to be hardwood floors which make that click-clack sound and I feel very

self-conscious when I walk on hardwood in high heels.

Now obviously you are not always going to know the what and the where of your day

so how do you know if you're supposed to wear heels or not?

This is why having a pair of walking shoes or a pair of flats in your purse

or just in your car or something with you is a wonderful idea!

I have had days where I did for more power walking than I expected to and that's because I power walk everywhere.

It's very unintentional, but if I have to walk it's power walking.

But basically all that power walking in heels means really blistered feet because I didn't have an extra pair of shoes with me.

So learn from my mistakes! Throw an old pair of running shoes in your trunk

or just grab a pair of basic black flats and put them in your work desk! Be prepared!

So yeah all the possible heel advice you could ever need! Well...probably not.

I'm sure there's like a million other heel-related things that I don't know. I am not a fashion expert.

I am just schooled in the hard life of heel-wearing.

So that means I want to know what you guys think! Is it easy or hard for you to wear

heels? Do you have any tips that I didn't mention here about heel wearing? Tell me all about it down in the comments!

And of course you can find me on some other social media platforms over here! Instagram is my favorite!

I love posting pictures of my cat, and I also do some coloring projects, so come hang out with me there!

I hope this video made you smile, and I will see you guys on Thursday! Bye! (kiss) Hehehe!

Yoga - Guided Relaxation - Savasana - Corpse Pose - Deep Relaxation - Duration: 7:15.

Hi there, I'm Rebecca. So in this video I'm going to go through a relaxation exercise in yoga

This is called, Savasana, or Corpse pose a creepy name - but it's actually very nice

It's traditionally done at the end of yoga class to cool down and let go of any tention

But it can also be done by itself whenever you feel you need it

Before going to sleep at night if you can't switch off. Or just when you're feeling generally stressed or anxious

So I'll talk you through it. We're Gonna start lying down

so just roll down here slowly keep the knees bent to begin with

As you want to make the back nice and long here, so that all the vertebrae are on the floor.

You're just going to scoop the tailbone up so that your hips rise up here and your navel presses in towards the floor

Now you can extend each leg down long here. So feet hips width apart

and just let your feet roll out and relax and

Now your arms are going to brush gently out to the side slightly away from the body

It's a personal preference here. I think it's quite nice to extend the arms wide as a gesture of openness

So your palms are facing up

Soften through the fingertips

Let them relax slightly open

you might want to try pointing and flexing the feet here for a moment

and then let them relax. You're just releasing any tension in the joints and

now pressing lightly into the elbows and the head you can lift the chest up towards the ceiling and

Draw the shoulder blades in together and down away from the neck and then relax the chest back down

Now turn your neck gently from one side to the other

and come back to center and

Lastly, you're now going to think of lengthening your whole body

So imagine there's a piece of string connected at the top of the head and to the soles of your feet

pulling you in each direction, so draw the shoulders away from the neck and your legs away from the pelvis.

So this is a method of getting into the ideal position with Shavasana

So now we're gonna bring our awareness to the breath

So just inhale simply

naturally and allow your abdomen to Expand and

exhale your tummy lowers down. So try this again, you're bringing the breath down deep right to the stomach now and

then exhale stomach lowers

We do this because usually our breathing is very shallow - a lot of us keep it very high up in the chest

And so this is consciously bringing it down so that you're using

the full lung capacity

you can either stay here

or have a go at three-part breathing next where you inhale and

the Tummy Expands and then the ribs and then the chest and

Then exhale through the chest then the ribs

through the Tummy

Again just try a couple of rounds with this in your own time seeing if you can get comfortable with this movement

And notice if your mind is wandering. It will want to jump like a monkey

So you've got to keep bringing it gently back to the breath

And now is the last exercise

To just let go of any residual tension

We're just now gonna lift the right leg an inch from the floor just an inch

for the weight of the whole leg tense and heavy

And let's drop it back

and

now your left leg again, so just lift it a tiny bit, tense up and

Then relax it down

And squeeze the bum, so tighten the bum muscles so you're lifting the pelvis off the floor and then relax it down

And now breathe into your chest

Lift the chest up from the floor gently

draw the shoulder blades in and

relax it down

and this time take your shoulders up all the way up as high as you can and

Then drop them down

And they're taking each hand into a fist, you're going to extend the elbows and lift the arms just an inch from the floor

and feel the weight of your arms

and release the fingers stretch the fingers out

Then drop them down

And feel the weight of your head on the floor

Don't worry. We're not gonna lift and drop the head, but just

as you exhale imagine

letting go of any tension in the eyes and the mouth

and the jaw

soften through the throat.

Imagine exhaling into this space between your eyebrows

It's an odd way of saying it, but a lot of us

Have this crease here, so you're just imagining ironing this out and smoothing out the whole forehead

Lastly just let everything go, any thoughts

and effort

And stay here for just a minute

And now gently coming back into your awareness

you can keep the eyes closed here if you like

But just bring your attention back to the breath and back to the physical surroundings of the room

And when you're ready, you can open the eyes

wiggle out the fingers and toes you like take a stretch

and roll over

And just stay here in the fetal position for a moment and then push yourself back up to sitting

So that was shavasana. You know a really lovely exercise that you can use to find this place of stillness and peace

It's great for nervous system

So I hope this has left

you feeling a little bit more relaxed like I mentioned you can use it as and when you feel you need it and

if you have any questions about relaxation in yoga, then just leave in the comments box below

Or message me or like the video and

Have a very peaceful rest of your day

hey guys welcome to pico de gallo my name is Robbie

and today I'm going to bring you a very special Mexican drink! it's the Agua

de Jamaica or in English it's Hibiscus flower cold drink

so what is Agua de Jamaica? what is this... drink you know.. it's a it's a flower that that we

use a lot in in Mexico is a drink that it's in every house in every restaurant

and it is so refreshing especially if you drink it.. ice cold! okay guys so let's

start to prepare our cold drink or hibiscus drink and we're going to need

one cup of our dried hibiscus flower we're also going to need one and a half

liters of plain water or which equals six cups and of course our simple syrup

that if you don't know how to prepare I'll leave a link here in the

description box below so you can know how to prepare a simple

syrup okay so we're going to start by boiling or heating our water a little

bit and then we're going to put in our cup of of hibiscus flower and let me

tell you where you can buy this this dry flower you can go to any Hispanic or

Mexican store and you will find it there I have also seen them in Asian stores

okay and you can just ask for it in a hibiscus flower and if you go to a

Mexican one then you go and ask for my Corolla some ice okay

so once it boiled a little bit I let it cool and now I have to drain it okay and

with our clean hands and we're going to just squeeze that flower which is

already very soft of course and don't throw it away because let me give you

one hint you can eat this flower okay so later on I'm going to prepare

some hibiscus flower taco so it's amazing so don't throw it away okay

little bit of plain water just to fill up my my jar okay so and just play with

it until you like it and there we have it our agua de ha Micah alright so we

have our justice drink ready to take so worthy aha um my glasses long so I to

select my measuring very cold to the end up on the ice cubes start soon to make

🔥Why YOU should do SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING🔥 - Duration: 7:54.

what is going on guys, Xavier here, today we are going to talk about a topic, social

media marketing.

One why I chose to open up my own agency, and two, why you should open up your own agency,

or why you should consider opening up your own agency.

And for those of yall who don't know what social media marketing is, it's basically

using social media platforms, as in facebook, instagram, twitter, snapchat, youtube and

google; using all of those to grow a business's social media so that they can use that to

their advantage, so they can grow their online brand, so you can use advertising to gain

reach on each post, and help them grow digitally.

And so, asking the question, "why I chose to open up a social media marketing agency"

is because, ONE, there's just a lot of opportunity doing social media marketing, not only is

there a high profit margin because it down't cost a lot to learn it, and open up your legal

structure, you business, but ALSO because anybody can do this at any age.

II've heard about kids that are 12 years old doing this, a kid, he was doing this while

he was 12 years old, doing this in the UK making money from this.

And thats the thing, you can do this from anywhere in the world, if you get a client

in your city you can travel to another state or out of the country and STILL be able to

preform your services for them.

SO there's high profit margins, you can do it at any age, you don't have to have any

experience, really, with any sort of business or any marketing, right, all you got to do

is learn how to do it.

SO high profit margins, you can do it from anywhere, you can be any age, and also there's

a lot of networking opportunities, Becuase there're a lot of people who do this right,

and if you network with some of the people who are making 6, 7, 8 figures a year, even

a month doing this, you can really network with them, and not only grow your business,

but grow your mind.

Because these people have been doing this for a long time and they know what they're

doing and if they take you under their wing, and kind of guide you or give you some tips

here and there, it'll offer a lot of value to you in the future.

Another reason why I started doing this is because, a lot of businesses now a days don't

know what to do regarding online marketing, reason being is because these business owners,

some of them are old you know, 40, 50, 60, some of them a little bit younger, but a lot

of these business owners don't know how to use social media and young people like us

we use it on a day to day basis so we understand how it works, we understand how certain people

react to certain posts, and we understand what type of content catches people's eyes.

All you need, is to learn how to do advertising, then you're good on social media marketing.

Now you know a lot more than a lot of businesses do.

EVen these big corporate busniesses, even these big brand businesses, like AUDI, these

big car dealerships, even papa johns, I know this guy on Tai Lopez's...Tai lopez is the

guy who madde the program that I took.

There was a guy on his snapchat, and I think he was 16, 17 and his first client after he

took the social media marketing course was PAPA JOHNS, and i don't know if you know papa

johns, but papa johns is a big brand pizza company.

That just goes to show that even big brand companies don't know what to do regarding

social media marketing, and they need people like uswho are willing to learn to do it for

them, so that they can worry about making their sales and things like that, so thats

another reason why i started doing this, is because a lot of these businesses don't understand

how to do this, and some of them want to make sure their business is on point when is comes

to evey aspectof marketing, sales, employees, and things like that.

Some of them don't have the time to learn to do this stuff, so that's where you come

in.

Now asking the question, "DO you think you should open up a social media marketing agency?"

And that all depends on how you are, you have to be self-aware, Because, Yeah the profit

margins are high, you can make a lot of money doing this a month, but it also takes a lot

of effort in actually running it.

Because you are running a busniess.

It take a lot to run a successful business, ANY business really, not only social media

marketing.

SO you have to realize before you get into this that you're going to be running a business,

yeah you can do this fulltime or part time, but you're going to have to put in a lot of

effort in getting clients, setting this up, making sure that you're paying your takes,

and just the little things that really take up time when it comes to setting up a busniess,

you're going to have to put those hours in to end up getting the outcome that you want.

SO im just letting you know right now, that if you don choose to open up you're own agency,

just letting you know that it does take your due diligence in order to run this successfully.

If you're going to do social media marketing you're going to have to love it because, honestly

from what i've experienced so far with my own agency, it is a lot of work, but like

at first you think about the money, but then later on as you really realize that theres

a lot of work that goes into it, you start to love it over time, and now it's been fun

trying to look for clients, prospecting, writing audits, just the little things that...it's

just the grind that's so fun with social media marketing.

But you have to realize before hand that its going to take a lot of effort in actually

getting a client, but when you got all that down it is definitly worth it in the end.

SO if you're thinking about, if you want to learn social media marketing, but you dont

know where to start, I personally did Tai Lopez's program, I dont recommend that one,

because I feel like there was a lot of gaps and holes in that program that needed to be

filled and a lot of other people feel that way as well.

So i the section below, I'm going to put two links, to 2 different social media marketing

courses.

1 is my Joe Soto, he actually taught in Tai Lopez's course, but Joe Soto, he runs a, I

think a multi million dollar marketing agency, and he does this every single day of his life,

he runs it successfully, so im going to link his program below, as well as a program made

by Hadden Peddle and Ryan Hildreth, Iist their course below as well.

They felt the same way, they thought there were a lot of gaps that needed to be filled

in Tai's course, which is why they made this program of theirs to clear it up, and clean

the water, to make sure you know what you're doing

when it comes

to Social Media Marketing.
