Every Day Carry that Helps You - Duration: 4:00.

I'm going to be revealing things I carry with me

every day to set myself apart.

Let's check it out.

[upbeat music]

Welcome back, Young Achiever.

So, the things I carry with me

every day to set myself apart.

First off, my wallet.

So the funny thing is I do carry a really expensive wallet.

I have a Montblanc.

Now, you don't have to have a really expensive wallet

that you carry with you all the time,

but have a nice one.

I used to go to Walmart and buy

a new wallet every couple of years,

and they just looked bad.

The leather was painted, it would

come off and look funky.

I bought a wallet from Cavender's I think it was,

because I really liked the design,

and same thing, the leather looked

like it was painted after a while.

So, I'm going to get a real Italian leather wallet,

and look fancy.

Now, like I said you don't have

to buy a super expensive wallet.

I like to save my money and buy nice things.

That's just who I am.

I also carry a lighter with me all the time.

It is a little bit of an old concept,

but a few of the reasons I carry my lighter

with me, is just to be utilitar.

I don't smoke, it's just very useful.

I started carrying this back a couple of years ago,

it's not the same lighter of course,

I buy a new one every so often.

Because I worked in a barbecue restaurant,

I had to light things everywhere.

I had to light the grill, I had to light the stove.

I was tired of having to go to the pit,

is what we called it, the little fire box,

and having to stick paper in it and get fire every time.

So I said no more.

Lighter.

Plus you can do some cool tricks with it.

I also carry it so I can light a lady's cigarette.

I've only done it a handful of times,

but it definitely sets me apart

from other gentlemen out there.

It's, again, utilitarian, I have it with me.

I also always carry a pen with me.

One thing my area manager told me that really stuck with me,

is that a gentleman always carries a pen.

We used to stick it in our polos,

that way we always had it with us.

If a guest needed something,

we could help them write it down.

I sign so many things every day.

This is so useful.

I don't like to carry the cheap ones

just because they write weird,

they don't let their ink out consistently.

And having a nice one definitely sets you apart.

This is actually a gift from my

general manager, because she went to Office Depot.

It looks classy when I write.

ChapStick®, I always carry it with me.

Nobody likes to look at someone with sandpaper lips.

Take care of yourself, guys, and girls.

Carrying something that you put on your lips

doesn't mean you're a lady.

It just means you're smart.

A business card holder.

I actually got this one for free

whenever I bought my 300 dollar wallet.

And I'll actually be making a video on how

to be aware of deals and get the best for your money.

But carrying a business card holder,

you're always ready to give out your contact information.

Whether it's your own company,

your personal contact information,

the business you work at.

It helps spread yourself, and build your network,

which is really important.

A nice watch.

It's one of those other things I used to go to Walmart,

every so often I'd have to buy a new one,

a $25 watch from Walmart.

It looks nice for a little bit,

but instantly it gets scratched up.

I was tired of it,

so I went out and bought a $100 watch.

It's lasted me for the past four or five months

and still looks pristine, brand new.

And if I ever have an issue with it,

I can just get parts replaced.

I can get a new wrist band,

I can get the battery replaced,

I can get a new glass panel,

or I can get a completely new watch,

but having that nice timepiece

definitely makes you look a little bit nicer.

Yes, you can have an Apple watch.

I don't personally prefer it.

It's a metal block.

It may be functional, it may be helpful,

but I don't like the way it looks.

Plus having those constant notifications

would drive me absolutely insane.

Whenever I'm at work, I'm at work.

Don't be bothering me, I'm getting stuff done.

And finally, I usually carry a notepad with me.

I just like to have a way to take notes

and to be able to transmit it to other people

in a physical way.

Yes, of course you always have a notepad

on your phone, you can text people,

but nothing beats that physical presence

or that handwriting that says,

this is what needs to happen,

this is what we need,

or this is the idea I had.

So those are the things I carry with me

every day to help set myself apart.

Do you have something I didn't mention

that you carry with you every day?

Leave a comment down below.

I'd love to hear about it.

16 Symptoms of Magnesium Deficiency & How To Fix It - Duration: 5:38.

16 Symptoms of Magnesium Deficiency & How To Fix It

You may know what magnesium is, but do you know how important the mineral can be for

your health?

Magnesium is involved with over 300 metabolic processes in our bodies, leading to the mineral

being called the master mineral.

So what exactly does it mean to have a magnesium deficiency, and what are some magnesium deficiency

symptoms?

Why Supplementing with Magnesium is a Good Idea

Firstly, magnesium is necessary for the proper transportation of calcium across cell membranes.

Why? Calcium needs other nutrients that help get calcium into bone matter. Those other

nutrients are silica, vitamin D, vitamin K, and, you guessed it magnesium.

Excessive calcium intake has been linked to heart health issues by staying in the blood

long enough to calcify into arterial plaque.

Minerals are more important than vitamins, which struggle actually struggle without minerals.

Thanks to modern monoculture farming methods that rely heavily on using chemical fertilizers,

pesticides, and insecticides that are absorbed into the soil, out topsoil has been heavily

depleted of its mineral content.

The master mineral magnesium is missing from most of our topsoil, leaving the vast majority,

perhaps 80%, with a failure to meet even the USDAs recommended dietary allowance (RDA)

of 240 to 420 millgrams (based on age).

Its important to note that government RDAs are known to be well below optimum levels.

Many experts think our magnesium levels should be twice the amount.

While observing bodily signs can help, you may want to have some tests administered in

the end to test whether or not youre deficient in magnesium.

Serum or blood level measurements are usually inadequate because magnesium operates on a

cellular level and accumulates in organ and nerve tissue.

So even good results with blood testing are very often deceptive, leaving one with a magnesium

deficiency. One effective test developed for use by health professionals is the Exa Test.

If testing is unavailable, put your symptom watch hat on.

There are many symptoms of magnesium deficiency that relate to cardiovascular, heart, neurological,

and muscular dysfunction and disease.

These various magnesium deficiency symptoms are numerous because of the minerals diverse

role in so many different cellular metabolic functions.

16 Magnesium Deficiency Symptoms

As mentioned, magnesium is a mineral responsible for numerous bodily processes.

An anti-inflammatory mineral offering protection against illnesses like arthritis and Alzheimers

disease, magnesium has been used to remedy problems like high blood pressure, diabetes,

respiratory issues, and much more.

But as you may suspect, just as upping magnesium intake can solve problems, a magnesium deficiency

could lead to many of those same issues and much more.

Here are 16 signs of a magnesium deficiency:

Calcium deficiency Poor heart health

Weakness Muscle cramps

Tremors Nausea

Anxiety High blood pressure

Type II diabetes Respiratory issues

Dizziness Fatigue

Potassium deficiency Difficulty swallowing

Poor memory Confusion

Its important to note that while these are symptoms of a magnesium deficiency, it

doesnt necessarily mean you are definitely deficient in magnesium if you experience the

above issues.

How to Safely Supplement Magnesium

Its almost impossible to overdose magnesium by supplementing, but consuming too much magnesium

is still not a great idea.

Too much of the mineral could lead to some side effects like irregular heartbeat or slowed

breathing.

Similar to oral ascorbic acid C, there is a bowel tolerance threshold that brings on

diarrhea if exceeded. Not all magnesium supplements are easily absorbed, either.

You can find inexpensive products that feature magnesium citrate, which is among the most

readily absorbed forms of magnesium supplements.

You can also apply transdermal magnesium chloride topically to be absorbed internally through

the skin.

Magnesium chloride is also known as magnesium oil, though not really an oil. Its a briny

solution from ancient sea beds.

It is available through various online sources. Google magnesium oil products.

If you dont want to supplement and simply want to acquire magnesium through food sources,

here are a few foods that can relieve you of any magnesium deficiency symptoms:

Pumpkin seeds Sunflower seeds

Soybeans Black beans

Cashews Spinach

Squash Sesame seeds

Almonds Okra
